Honey, hurry.

Come on, honey.

I signed us up for 3 months of yoga.

3 months?

Yeah.

Honey, I brought yoga clothes for you.

- Go get changed. / - Okay.

Wow! You look great in those!

- I do? / - Yeah.

Let's start with stretching first.

- Alright. / - Do what I do. Hands up high!

High...

High...

Got to stay focused!

At this moment, I feel so lonely

and I'm struggling.

What do I do?

That's right. I'll just try to do what she does.

Starting with the right.

1, 2, 3, 4, 2, 2, 3, 4.

- Give me your hands. / - Yeah.

Both hands.

- Both hands? / - Yeah.

Hey. You don't want to do this?

You didn't want to come here with me?

No! I wanted to come!

- Why? To stare at the girls? / - No!

- I didn't want to come! / - You didn't want to come?

This won't work!

What do I do?

Okay! I'll be bold.

- Sora. / - Yeah.

- Let's stretch. / - Alright.

Geez!

Are you here to do yoga or to show off?

It's not like that...

- Honey. / - Yeah.

- You shouldn't be so proud. / - I know.

Let's put on some pants since it's embarrassing.

Thanks.

Geez...

Alright, let's start the class.

Everyone, watch me and do what I do.

We'll start with the cobra position.

Your knees should touch the floor

and go down.

Going back up in 1, 2, 3.

- Up. / - Up.

What are you looking at?

Got to stay focused!

Don't I have to look to do what she does?

I stared into the face of death for staring at the teacher.

What do I do?

That's right! I'll just look at Sora.

I was only looking at you.

Now we'll stand up and loosen up.

Starting with the right. 1, 2, 3, 4.

2, 2, 3, 4.

Shoulders.

1, 2, 3, 4, 2, 2, 3, 4.

- Why do you keep smiling? / - What?

Does my body look funny

compared to the teacher's?

No! I don't like skinny girls like her.

I like plump girls like you.

What? Plump?

How about I put my plump fists into you?

That won't work!

What do I do?

Okay! I'll just keep my eyes closed.

Now put your right hand down your back.

Try to grab your hand.

Sir, if you go down a bit more here...

Doesn't that feel nice?

That's very good.

- Just like this. / - Did you enjoy that?

What?

What's with the smile?

- You must've really enjoyed that. / - No.

I'll give you something you can enjoy!

This won't work either. What do I do?

Alright! I'll compliment Sora.

Next, put your right foot forward

and go down.

- Down... / - Wow!

Sora, you're so flexible!

- Not working... / - Go down more than the teacher.

- More, more. Good. / - It's not working.

Your butt is heavy! More! More!

- Hey! Are you a drill sergeant? / - What?

- Am I in the army? / - No...

- You should demonstrate for me first! / - What?

Hold on... Wait.

You'd better stay sharp!

I was super focused!

Science Can Be Tricky - Duration: 0:33.

We all know that science can be tricky. But who do we blame? Jainam, Roberto, Voltage Enigma? Let's find out.

Lipids are found in your body, blah blah blah. Anyways, this lipid classification is complicated enough. And this is just the tip of the iceberg.

Geologists really messed up. If I were a kid and saw how ridiculously complicated rocks are, I would not consider being a geologist.

How can you make rocks so complicated?

This is a spectral classification (stars) and it's just messed up that stars are so complicated

I mean if you're a star that isn't the right brightness or color or mass, you become something entirely different.

These are only the major parts of the brain, and there's many more. Granted, the brain is pretty important, so this classification can slide.

Hippocampus: where hippos camp. Olfactory bulb: doesn't look like a light bulb to me.

The people we should blame for this is the 3 mentioned in the beginning

How Can I Change My Life! - Duration: 1:36.

Hi, my name is Carlos and I wanted to make this video real quick to tell you the viewer

that if you're looking for change than what better day to turn your life around than today.

Now you may ask "How?"

well it's simple, it starts by putting off any hurt, doubt, depression, corrupt thinking,

lust, bitterness, and putting on the mind of Christ.

We have to be like an Eagles where every molting season they will put off their old feathers

to grow out their new which by this process they receive new physical strength to soar

above their enemies.

When it comes to change, God is willing to do his part, but not yours.

What do I mean by that?

God says in Romans 12 that you must renew your mind, He doesn't say He will do it

for you.

It's your responsibility to understand God's will in your life, to evaluate your thoughts,

to ask God for wisdom and to guard your mind from bad messages being thrown at you whether

it's from the TV or the music you're listening to.

I know it's not easy, it's a process, and the Holy Spirit will help you through

it, but you have to make that decision yourself, let it be today that you decide to get on

the right path.

Start thinking positive, fill your mind with what is pure and praiseworthy, not with what

is corrupting you.

Change your behavior, and don't just change your thoughts, but be a living example of

Jesus Christ by loving your neighbors and extending a helping hand to those in need.

Thank you for watch and don't forget to click on the subscribe button for more videos.

And remember, it's important to know that if you want to change your life, is necessary

to first change your mind, life will not get straighten out until your mind does.

Have a bless day and may the Gospel give you life.

How to improve writing skills with juicy sentences - Duration: 5:53.

Welcome to LitPick's Juicy Sentence video!

I'm Sarah, an educator and advisor to LitPick Student book reviews, and in this video, I

am going to show you how to write Juicy Sentences.

Be sure to watch until the end for a link to a FREE Juicy sentence lesson plan which

includes a lot of great examples and sentence structure practice.

A Juicy Sentence is one sentence from a current text that focuses on one specific language

standard.

Teachers: When you construct a juicy sentence, you should use a sentence from the current

day's lesson.

The sentence will help students increase comprehension by providing them with multiple exposures

to the text.

Educators should zero in on how the sentence is an example of one language standard.

Students: A Juicy Sentence is a quick and powerful way to master the art of writing.

No more editing long, boring paragraphs.

A Juicy Sentence is an impressive, fun way to take your writing skills to the next level.

Educators should focus on one language skill when selecting a sentence from the text that

models the chosen standard.

Then, educators translate the standard to a more student friendly objective.

How does a Juicy Sentence look?

Teachers: Here is one example of how to show students a Juicy Sentence.

Give students the quote from the text with the student friendly language objective and

invite students to create their own sentence.

Students: Think about how you can make your very own sentence look similar to the one

in the lesson.

Here's where your creativity comes in to play.

You get to make up your own sentence using the language rule in your writing!

Teachers: If needed, provide writing templates for students to help get them started.

Students: Keep in mind there is more than one way to apply the rule in order for you

to create a sentence correctly.

Teachers: Templates should be used sparingly as the ultimate goal is for students to independently

apply the rule.

It's okay to deviate from the template as long as the language rule was correctly applied.

Let's get started: Why use a Juicy Sentence?

Teachers: Juicy Sentences are a way for educators to maximize instructional time, increase rigor

in their lessons, provide daily practice of effective writing for students, demonstrate

command of standard English conventions by allowing students to look deeply at each grammar,

punctuation, or spelling rule, and provide a higher depth of knowledge to their students

by allowing them to create their own writing.

Students: Once you master how to write better sentences, people will enjoy reading what

you write and you will also have more fun writing what you want to say, like in a book

review.

At the end of this video, I will provide you with a link to our student reviewer enrollment

form where you can sign up.

Juicy Sentences are not the typical, mundane daily edits where you look for a bunch of

random spelling, capitalization, or punctuation errors.

Watch out for common Juicy Sentence errors!

Students: Remember you are applying the language writing rule -- not the content of the sentence.

Let your creativity shine here.

The language rule, in this case, is separating a series of items by using a comma in your

writing.

Let your creativity shine!

What other items, besides fruit, could be separated by a series of commas in a brand

new sentence?

How else can this language objective or rule be applied in a new sentence?

Students: Remember you are applying the language writing rule -- not the content of the sentence.

How to Grow Hair Faster, Thicker and Longer - Duration: 2:32.

A little-known fact about onions is that their juice can help hair from thinning and from

falling out.

Onions have a high amount of sulfur in them.

Because sulfur helps with your blood circulation, it can also help your hair grow and repair.

One of the main things needed for hair to grow is sulfur, which is contained in a lot

of amino acids that build proteins.

As you may know, protein is essential in hair growth.

Keratin is also a protein that has a high amount of sulfuric amino acids.

Scientists have proven that onions help with hair loss and other hair problems, such as

dandruff, infections and premature preying.

In this video, we will give you a recipe using onion juice and honey, to treat not only hair

loss, but will leave your hair smooth and shiny.

Honey has many cleansing properties and helps to moisturize.

Things you will need:

- 1 onion - Honey

- A blender - A strainer

- A bowl - An essential oil of your choice (optional)

Steps:

- Peel, chop and blend an onion.

- Put the blended pulp into a strainer.

- Using a spoon, press the pulp to extract the juice.

- Add 1 to 2 teaspoons of honey to the onion juice.

- Optionally, add a few drops of an essential oil, such as lavender oil.

How to use:

- Massage your bald patches or your entire scalp with this mixture.

- Cover your hair with a shower cap and leave it on overnight, or at least for 30 minutes.

- Rinse your hair the next morning.

- Repeat daily for a few months, or until you are fully satisfied with the results.

Tips:

- Instead of blending the onion, you can grate it, and then extract the juice.

- For squeezing, you can use a cheesecloth instead of a strainer.

(You can also use a juicer.)

- To prevent your eyes from tearing or crying while cutting the onion, place the onion in

the freezer for about 15 minutes and then chop it.

- If you want to add a fragrant essential oil, use rosemary, lavender, peppermint, or

other similar oils that promote hair growth.

- You can also add lemon juice or rose water to cover strong smell of the onion.

If you like the video, give it a thumbs up and share it with your friends!

Mentorship in the digital age can blend old, new - Duration: 6:15.

Sarah Bowman Davila never thought she'd own her own business.

The licensed clinical social worker had always worked for agencies, providing counseling

to teenagers, women and people with chemical dependencies and other issues.

But an opportunity — and a caring guide in her life — changed things.

"Four years ago now, when I started doing some independent contract work with a small

private group, I had hoped that I would become more of a part business owner with that particular

group or at least learn more about the business."

She had a lot of questions about what that would involve.

So she took a course offered by the Rochester, New York, chapter of SCORE, a nationwide agency where

volunteers provide mentoring and workshops.

That's where she met Bob Zinnecker, who's been volunteering for SCORE for 25 years and

has mentored more than 100 people.

At first, she wanted Zinnecker to help her review the contract to make sure she was protecting

herself.

But then opportunity knocked again.

A colleague had an office to rent, giving Davila the chance to open her own practice.

"So I was torn, and one of the key things that Bob said to me at some point was, 'Where

do you see yourself in five years?

Do you see yourself as an employee or a small-business woman?'

"And I liked the ring of the second one."

So, Davila opened her own therapy practice, Joy Full Living Center, three years ago.

"I never dreamed that I would be doing that, when I first went to SCORE and first met with

Bob, but his encouragement and support just made that very clear that that's where I

wanted to move into."

Both she and Zinnecker share in her success.

"So I can look at Sarah and I can say, 'If she's helped somebody, then I've helped

somebody indirectly, right?

Because I helped her, and she's helped somebody else, and I think that's kind of what makes

the world go round."

Many successful businesspeople credit their accomplishments to having a mentor — someone

who served as a guide as they progressed in their careers.

"Mentoring would be something where an individual has a deep expertise in a particular field.

"And you would come in and ask them for advice and get insights from them, and they would

listen to you and give you guidance."

Richard DeMartino is director of the Simone Center for Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship

and a professor in the Saunders College of Business at Rochester Institute of Technology.

At the center, mentorship is considered so important, students are linked with industry

leaders who help them navigate the challenging world of entrepreneurship.

"And they don't do it for me, and they don't do it for RIT.

"They do it to give back to the students because they want to help.

They want to help!

"They want to help guide young, promising people in promising directions.

"So we truly realize that as part of the educational process, but really part of the human development

process."

But not everybody has access to such advantages.

What about the people who have big dreams but little support?

Kevin Walker knows what that feels like.

While he had a successful career as an executive in the energy industry, he knows that his

life could have been dramatically different.

"I grew up a child of a single mom; she had me when she was 16.

"I had great love in my family.

"A lot of my relatives — cousins, aunts and uncles — all lived in the same area, sometimes

in the same house, so I was not lacking for that at all.

"What was missing was experiential, larger worldview, kind of experiences, like college

experience.

"Nobody had ever been to college before me.

"Like military experience.

"I didn't have that network close by."

Mentorship changed the course his life would take.

"And so, if it hadn't been for those folks outside my network who were willing to mentor,

coach and advise, I would have had a very different trajectory in my life."

Walker says his personal life inspired to him to create and co-found TurtleWise, an

app that launched in March.

Think of it, Walker says, as "the Match.com of advice-seeking."

There are advice-seekers — called explorers — and advice-givers — called gurus.

"The idea about the app is to try to mimic the natural world, so you come in, you sign

up, you put in your profile, you talk about characteristics, traits, aspirations that

you have about yourself so that people can see who you are and you can see who other

people are.

"We have a technology in the background that as you ask your question, and you decide

who your ideal adviser is, we go through our algorithm and we match you with that person."

He believes TurtleWise will provide essential guidance to an audience that may not be able

to find it elsewhere.

"And so what we're trying to do at TurtleWise is to create that kind of venue and opportunity

for I think the thousands or hundreds of thousands who are in that same situation that I was

and to try to level the playing field.

"Our tagline says, 'A better life through better decisions,' and that's what we're

trying to achieve."

DeMartino agrees that there's a large population that may miss out on mentoring opportunities.

"One of the things that the research has demonstrated is that people from lower socioeconomic

backgrounds — particularly disadvantaged family backgrounds — don't have the social

networks of someone that's middle-class or higher."

While DeMartino still considers face-to-face mentoring relationships to be the best, he

sees benefits to digital offerings, especially since the one-time traditional mentorship

model found in large companies has been largely lost.

"I think what we're seeing now is you're beginning to see efforts to find that over

the Internet, over communities, digital communities.

That has opportunities, and that has challenges, too, because you don't have that face-to-face."

The most important thing, he says, is for someone seeking guidance to get it.

"I think almost everybody has a mentor; they just don't realize it.

And if they don't have a mentor and a role model, then I feel sad for them because that's

so important.

That's how you learn life."

In Rochester, I'm Denise Young, for the Innovation Trail.

Announcer: Welcome to Your Health with Joan Lunden.

Presented by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Joan Lunden: Hi, I'm Joan Lunden.

Believe it or not, more than one in three people

in the US have pre-diabetes.

Even scarier, 90% of them don't know it.

And if all those people with pre-diabetes

don't do anything about it, 25% of all Americans

could have Type 2 diabetes by the year 2025.

Pre-diabetes can be reversed and you do not have to

live with the disease alone.

The CDC has created

the National Diabetes Prevention Program.

This program can help people with pre-diabetes significantly

lower their risk of ever developing Type 2 diabetes.

In fact, using the program's services

can actually help reduce your risk by 58%.

And if you're living with the disease,

the program can help you avoid some of

the serious complications associated with it.

What is so unique about the program

is the supportive community available to participants.

The program's lifestyle coaches help you

establish and maintain important lifestyle changes,

like healthy eating and increased physical activity,

as well as tips to keep you motivated and manage your stress

and the fellow participants share ideas

and they kind of help you keep on track.

Learn how you can be part of the program

by visiting cdc.gov/diabetesTV.

It can be daunting to change

your daily diet and exercise routine,

but it can also be life saving.

And who better to understand what you're going through

than others who are going through it too.

Have a question about your diet

or looking to change up your exercise routine?

Maybe feeling discouraged because you haven't seen

an immediate decrease in your blood sugar levels?

The support of the program could help you

through all of those challenges.

So many people have turned their health

around with this program.

It is an incredible resource.

Okay, hand me the socket wrench.

Half inch or quarter?

Give me the half.

Oh no.

You know what, I need the quarter.

There we go.

Alright, that should do it.

Alright, I'll just top it up,

should be good to go.

There we go.

Good as new.

Nice.

Oh, man.

I love this song, right?

I hear it everywhere and I'm not sick of it

yet.

It's a catchy song man.

Yeah it's catchy.

I might go see them on tour.

Good luck bro.

That is a hard ticket to get.

Nah...

Come on.

Hey, aren't you on this track?

Oh yeah, I pop near the end and I

just say; "hey guys".

You're not a singer though, you're

just a mechanic.

Yeah, I'm just a mechanic.

Huh...

Hold on, let me turn this up, let me hear this.

"Hey guys".

That was awesome!

How did you even pull that off?

I don't know.

Hi, Pat!

I'll come back.

Friends, Family & Diabetes - Duration: 2:31.

Announcer: Welcome to Your Health with Joan Lunden.

Presented by, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Joan Lunden: Hi, I'm Joan Lunden.

Diabetes is an epidemic sweeping our nation.

There are 29 million Americans that have diabetes,

and 25% of them don't even know it.

Even more alarming,

another 86 million American adults have pre-diabetes,

and 90% of them are unaware of their condition.

And if left untreated,

pre-diabetes can lead to type 2 diabetes,

and other serious complications,

like heart disease, kidney disease, blindness, amputation,

and even death.

Type 2 diabetes can be difficult to handle alone.

In order to properly manage the disease,

it takes help from family and friends,

as well as the medical community.

To best support a friend or loved one living with diabetes,

it's important to understand what they're dealing with,

and what kind of support they want and need.

But living well with diabetes starts with good nutrition.

This means more fruits and vegetables,

less salt and sugar.

Exercise is also vital.

At least 30 minutes a day, five days a week is best.

And of course taking all medication as prescribed,

and checking blood sugar often.

These are critical!

Add all this up to encourage

a healthier way of life for the people we love.

The CDC has developed another way to help people

prevent type 2 diabetes,

with their National Diabetes Prevention Program.

It provides trained lifestyle coaches,

and support groups to encourage healthy eating

and more physical activity,

as well as emotional support and stress management,

in a community setting.

Now this is where you all come in.

We all know it's easier to exercise when we have a friend

or family member join us.

And it's easier to eat healthy,

when all those around us do to.

Know someone with pre-diabetes?

Tell them about the National Diabetes Prevention Program,

and urge them to visit cdc.gov/diabetesTV

These are just some of the ways that we can be supportive

for those that we love.

Thanks for watching.

I'm Joan Lunden.

Heart of gold! Selfless 10-year-old boy grows his hair for two years just so he can make a wig for his female friend who suffers from alopecia

A boy with a heart of gold grew out his hair for two years so he could donate 12 inches of his shiny brown locks to a friend who has a hair loss disorder.

Tyler Boone, 10, from Georgia, started growing out his hair so he could make a wig for his family friend Gabby Ruiz, 12, who has been suffering from alopecia areata since she was four.

The selfless boy told ABC Action News that he simply wanted to make his friend happy, and he has learned to shrug off the numerous times over the past two years that he has been mistaken for a girl.

'I'm used to it now,' he said. Although Tyler and Gabby live hundreds of miles apart from each other, they have remained friends despite the distance.

Tyler and Gabby's families reunited at the JCPenney's store at the Westfield Brandon Mall in Florida on Thursday, and the duo posed for a photoshoot together.

The boy explained that he was about to get his haircut for Gabby, but first she had the honor of chopping off his 12-inch ponytail.

They headed to the salon side-by-side, and in less than an hour Tyler had a whole new 'do.

After two years of growing out his hair, Tyler opted for a streamlined buzz-cut, which completely transformed his appearance.

'It's cool,' Gabby said of the haircut, and Tyler noted that he feels 'different'.

Tyler's hair will be donated to the nonprofit, Children with Hair Loss, which will make a wig just for Gabby.

Although Gabby was a bit shy during the interview with the news station, she couldn't resist gushing about her doting pal.

'He's a great person. He's amazing,' she said.
