hard time trying to stand out from the crowd.
When your channel gets noticed on YouTube you'll receive a lot more views and subscribers.

1, Know your target market If you don't know who your channel will
appeal to it will be difficult to create the right content.
If you don't have the right content you'll get very few viewers and subscribers.
Here are some of the ways to find your target market
- Visit social media sites where your audience hangs out and interact with them
- Visit YouTube channels that are related to your niche to see what topics are being
covered - Read the comments of related channels to
see what's being discussed - Enter your main keyword in the Google or
YouTube search box to see what information people are seeking.

Create attractive channel art Make it easy for first time viewers to understand
what your channel is all about when they first visit the channel home page.
Here are a few tips to get you started - Create an attractive channel banner that
represents your channel - Create a channel trailer that encapsulates
your channel content - Describe who your content is for on your
about page 3.
Correctly structure your YouTube Channel Organize the different videos on your channel
into playlists so people will keep watching more of your videos.
This will also satisfy YouTube's wishes which is to keep people watching videos on
YouTube as long as possible.
Organize your playlists into sections on your channel home page.
This enables channel visitors to watch the videos that they are most interested in.

Create videos with relevant content One of the easiest ways to discover the content
your target market is interested in, is to type your keyword into the Google or YouTube
search box.
You'll then see a list of suggestions to create videos for.
Also look for questions that your target market is asking then answer them in a video.
If you are your own target market, think about the videos that you want to watch.
This is probably because you share the same thoughts as others who are on the same level.

Make engaging videos People have short attention spans so you have
to make your videos engaging if you want to keep them watching the video all the way through.
Here's some tips to keep them engaged - Tell people what to expect at the beginning
of your video, then get straight into the meat of the content followed by a call to
action such as "please subscribe to my channel to receive more videos like this one every
week."
- Avoid the fluff.
Make sure you provide high quality content so viewers will want to come back to your
channel every week to view the new content.
- Utilize graphics to enhance your video content.
Use b-roll footage to spice up your videos because nobody wants to watch a talking head
video for 10 minutes.
- Use end screens and annotations.
YouTube added these features to make it easy for viewers to subscribe to your channel or
be redirected to your landing page.
6.
Create engaging thumbnails A thumbnail picture is displayed on Google
and YouTube for every video you upload.
Avoid using the thumbnails that are auto-generated by YouTube.
Instead create your own custom thumbnail so it will stand out amongst all the other listings
in the search engines.
An easy way to make a unique thumbnail is to include a picture of your face.
7.
Promote your videos Extend the reach of your audience by promoting
your videos off YouTube.
Promote them using social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Pinterest.
Embed your video on your own website as well as Web 2.0 sites.
If you have some extra cash think about advertising your your video using adwords for video.

Uploading one video every month is not going to get your channel noticed.
Commit yourself to at least uploading one new video every week so you get a consistent
stream of traffic.

business owner and you really want to
start utilizing youtube and your
business strategy or you just want to
create personal YouTube channel today
series is going to start with how to
brand your channel to stick around to
get my four kids of how to get started

back to another episode of just the tips with trena
where I provide online
entrepreneurs tips and tricks on how to
create a video content strategy that works
for them and their business if you aren't

the start of a new series here on my
channel and i'm kicking it off by teaching you
how to brand your youtube channel so if
you're a business owner you already have
some branding aspects to your business
you want to make sure that it flows into
your YouTube channel
you also want to brand your you can see
no foo if people find you here on
YouTube you look legit
you don't want to have a youtube channel
that's not converting viewers into email
subscribers or the potential customers
so you really need to focus on your
branding on your channel before you even
start releasing videos so the first
thing that you want to brand is your
channel banner this is what people are
going to see when they come to your
channel and you really want to make sure
that you obviously have your name or
your business name on your banner and
possibly your upload schedule so if you
plan to upload twice a month once a week
once a day
put that on your channel banner so that
when a new person comes to your channel
be instantly know that that you create
videos consistently and this is the
schedule that you post new videos
you also want to make sure that your
channel banner aligns with the recipe or
branding for the same fonts in colors
all that jazz mix you want to upload a
nice avatar and what goes well on
youtube and what really connects with
people is actually a photo of you so
it's uploading your logo i would
definitely try to post a picture of
yourself and what goes well on these
average
are these profile pictures on youtube is
definitely like the top half of your
body on a plain background so like a
plain color background and just pretty
much your head down to meeting your
shoulders these avatars really connect
with your audience and potential
audiences and they're really the best
option with uploading a profile picture
or an avatar on youtube so if you don't
have a profile picture of yourself maybe
take a quick selfie against a blank wall
or have a friend take a picture of you
against a blank wall that's really going
to make you stand out and make your
channel look professional
the next thing that you want to do is
add a watermark to all your videos when
you do upload them i'm going to show you
in this quick little tutorial on how you
can add a watermark to your videos
before you even upload your first video
if you want to add a watermark over your
videos whether they are already on
YouTube are they plan to be on youtube
this is how you are going to do it the
first thing that you want to do is go
over to video manager from there you
want to go down to the channel and then
down to blanding from there you can
upload whatever file you want whether
that is an image of you or a logo
whatever you decide to have a watermark
on your bottom corner of your video you
can have it run for the entire video for
our custom time or just the end of the
video and in the final way I want you to
brand your YouTube channel is when you
do start uploading your videos you need
to brand all of your thumbnails this
scene so whether it's a certain form
that you use or a certain style picture
that you do or the certain color you
really need to make your thumbnail stand
out and make sure that they're on brand
with everything else in your brand your
thumbnail is your main marketing
material when people find you on YouTube
you really want to make sure you take
time and coming up with your thumbnails
and branding them to everything else
that's going on within your business

Today's Japanese is...
Ojyama shimasu... Shitsurei shimasu.
When do you use those words?
You use Ojyama shimasu when you enter someone else's territory
Also when you think you are disturbing the other person's activities.
When you are worried about that you use OJYAMA SHIMASU.
We will explain it better in examples later.
For example when you to go to someone else's house.
You don't know what they are doing in their own house so...
You might disturb them in their daily activities so you use OJYAMA SHIMASU
Shitsurei shimasu you can use in a broader way than Ojyama shimasu.
It doesn't matter if you disturb their activities or not.
You say Shitsurei Shimasu when you enter the room.
Let's make an example. - Let's do it. 3...2...1...
For example...
When you visit someone's house.
- Cathy! Come in! - Hey. Excuse me for disturbing you.
Is it cold outside? Are you ok? - I missed your house slippers.
I got it now. Let's go.
For example at the hospital.
Next patient please.
Sorry for intruding.
What brings you here today? - I have a headache.
Let's examine you then. - Yes.
For example when you enter the teacher's room.
- Shitsuei shimasu! (sorry for intruding.) - Ojyama shimasu! (sorry for disturbing.)
Ask Japanese Sensei!
That was...
Ojyama shimasu. Shitsurei Shimasu.
If you are not quite sure how to use both of these words...
Ojyama shimasu is used in situations where you think you might be
disturbing someone else while they are doing something.
Mainly for people who are at home or you are visiting someone at home.
While on the other hand Shitsurei shimasu is slighly more polite
you can actually sometimes use them both like in this situation with the
classroom. If you are not quite sure how polite you should be...
Shitsurei shimasu is the save version for most scenarios.
