this is week four of ketogenic diet for
me this was actually a really really
good week I spent the week doing time
restricted feeding timer started eating
what's their name
intermittent fasting basically what I
did this entire week Monday through
today which is sunday the 29th I would
not eat so I all the food i ate was
between 11am and 7pm worked out great
because my lunch break at work is 11 FYI
can't i set my schedule there I would
have my lunch at work I either had don't
you had a salad a couple days from
wholefoods what i would do is get a
salad get some chicken and then when I
got back to the office i would put an
avocado oil on it which doesn't add a
lot of flavor but it adds a lot of fat
which was pretty nice and helpful for
dinners we had my wife's been awesome
this week's been really helpful helping
me get the right kind of helping me shop
i'm not going shopping
she's really good at shopping finding
deals finding bargains all that stuff so
she helped me with that and for dinner
we had a few different meals i'll
probably put pictures up somewhere of of
them but we had a pork egg rolls in a
bowl that's essentially eggrolls you mix
up in a role found the recipe on the
website called kido gasm dot-com they
have some really good quito recipes i
had bacon wrapped atacado with something
else another night that was pretty good
it's pretty simply cut up an avocado
wrap each piece and they can put this
oven 450 cooking for 15 minutes
they're really really good i would
recommend using one that's a little
right so it's not real soft little bit
harder because when they're done cooking
they got a little soft so it actually
worked out really well that way but it
was a really good week I didn't exercise
but I didn't have any bad days I even
went to lunch with some friends on
friday
and the police in mesa called Republican
Posada I don't know how to say that
that's it would the Spanish way of
saying it but they had an amazing salad
is really good i really liked it
everybody around me was eating rice and
all kinds of stuff to look really good
what kind of salad and I'm happy with it
lets the friday after work i ended up
going out and some my passions
photography so i got a new camera the
the panasonic gt5 and i'm still learning
it I'm moving to this camera used to
have a full-frame sony a99 love the
camera it has some limitations that
drove me nuts but i'm still learning the
Panasonic and I went out friday after
work and I set the camera up and not a
typical town lake set it up
got it already set up to do a time lapse
i was going to do a time lapse of the
Sun setting over a walking bridge over
the lake if you're not from Phoenix
Tempe Town Lake is a man-made lake on
the salt river i think it is basically
it wasn't any issues engineering
students project created inflatable dams
at either end of it and what they can do
there's a flooding or anything they can
deflate the dams and water can flow
through but now Timmy has a great
waterfront area so but they have a
walking bridge at the west end of the
right by the damn so right by the tempe
arts center so i got the sunset going
over that was really cool i might show
little clip it in here went to my whole
point of going down at temples to do
night photography because you've got the
light rail going over there are lots of
lights on the bridges and that the light
rail bridge has lights that flash
underneath that which for long exposure
make some really cool effects get my
camera all set up everything's ready to
go
I can't set my shutter speed longer than
one second and I was I don't know what
I've done because I've had it set right
multiple times I spent an hour student
with the camera out in the field i
walked back to my car filled with it
some more in the car because i was
getting cold filled with it some more in
the car and finally said I don't know
what I've done wrong
I don't know if the process is setting
this camera out to do
video I said something that messed up i
don't know but long story short i get
home it's about an hour drive home was
driving up all the way home I get home
light goes off oh yeah I turn this
camera into silent mode so that when i'm
taking pictures
it doesn't make any noise problem silent
mode is your shutter speed is limited to
one second up to 160 for thousands of
the second but to go longer need to do
long exposure up to 60 seconds and then
bowled mode which i think will get me
two minutes exposure you have to put the
camera into the camera cannot have
silent mode on it has to have the
ability to run the elect mechanical
shutter well i put it in silent mode so
that when i was taking pictures like on
the street and stuff I wasn't bothering
anybody
well I don't know why I didn't click but
it didn't so long story short i did not
get the night photography I went out to
get that night but I got a really cool
time-lapse oh I'm happy with it was a
fun evening i'm still learning
I'm not afraid to make mistakes so you
really cool
saturday was a great day spent the day
working in the backyard with the kids
clean up the yard make a run to the dump
had a friend over for dinner
it's pretty i'm finding ways to eat
healthy quito eat healthy on the keto
span you know trying to keep my carbs
low as possible but also have things
prepare things that would help me so
saturday a friend friend over we ended
up BBQ and I have a barbecue hamburgers
and hotdogs so I just had a hamburger
with cheese and avocado mayo and some
other vegetables and stuff on it just on
the plate and I skipped all the chips
and other stuff and just made a plate
full of cheese burger with no bun
I don't you want to call it but it was
really good and it fit within my macro
so unhappy with it last week i weighed
myself in I wrote it down this time
let's see last week last Sunday my way
and was to 36.2 this week it is
to 31.8 i'm pretty happy with that
I mean it's only a four point four pound
loss but I'm happy that's a good loss
i'm getting back to where i was when i
had the grand canyon when I did the
Grand Canyon i think i was about to 26
to 27 so it was a good weight but I'm
going to work hard this entire year to
get down to where so this in October
2017 want to hike the Grand Canyon again
i want to be below 200 pounds and I want
to be healthier and I fully believe I
can do that I think the ketogenic diet
and eating this way is going to get me
there so looking forward to a good year
and hopefully i can I don't have as much
to lose as some people that do the
ketogenic diet i really want to lose
about 50 pounds
it's where my doctor says it's healthy
also where my doctor says we're talking
about getting me off blood pressure meds
so I'm excited to get there so it should
be a fun ride
