Tuesday Story Time: Maiden of the Mists Part 2 - Duration: 6:40.

The Maiden of the Mists is a short story inspired from this picture to my right.

It is a simple story about a young witch who encounters more than she bargained for when

doing her first solo ritual.

I decided to read it here for your enjoyment and entertainment.

I did my best to imitate an Irish accent.

So, you have been warned.

Roll the intro.

The Goddess tilted her head to one side, assessing the young one before her who was at ease with

death.

There was a stillness in her that was beyond her years, and a wisdom Branwen had never

experienced in others of Kaie's age.

This one is special.

Tis a shame she has been overlooked.

She saw and felt the apprehension within Kaie.

The girl is ready, but I must delve into the stillness that I feel in her.

She made motions for Kaie to follow her among the tombstones.

The girl followed the Goddess until she stopped in front of a small stone plaque inset in

the soil.

It contained only a name and the dates you would expect to find on a grave.

The stone was worn, and beginning to crack, neglected and forgotten in the rear of the

graveyard.

Weeds had taken over what once was grass and the small stand where flowers would be placed

was cracked and broken.

Branwen felt sadness from the youth.

"Why do you feel sadness, Kaie?

This is but a forgotten grave."

"This size of the site is for a child of not more than eight or nine, Goddess.

Why has this child been forgotten?"

When Branwen shook her head, her copper hair moved slightly.

"This child was shunned by the village.

He was a trouble maker, and there were those who thought that he was possessed by demons.

He would run free in the village without supervision or guidance of any kind.

Things would be broken, torn, stolen.

They would blame him."

Kaie's response coincided with the look of horror on her face.

"His parents?

Where were they?"

Branwen only shrugged.

"That matter was not for me in which to delve, my child.

All I know is that this child was tormented by those in the village, and then they wondered

why he was angry, and spiteful.

He wore rags and looked as if he was starved, Kaie."

"His parents must have been poor and not able to afford anything to properly care for

him."

"Nay, The boy could see spirits, like you.

Unlike you, however, he could not tolerate the verbal barbs that were thrown at him daily.

He became bitter, and a rage built inside him.

His parents, what I know of them, were the ones that thought he was possessed."

Branwen knelt and placed a hand on the stone.

Kaie did the same, turning her head towards the Goddess.

"He is still here.

I believe I can feel him at times."

Branwen nodded in agreement.

"Yes, he usually attacks those who try to walk through here in the wee hours of the

morning and the witching hour, child.

He is here now."

She turned her head and pointed in the direction she wished Kaie to look.

Following the silent direction, Kaie saw a small boy, the spirit of one, in tattered

clothing with an angry face staring back at them.

His hair was tangled, dirty as was the rest of him.

He walked toward Kaie with purpose and didn't slow his pace until he stood less than a foot

from her.

The voice that issued from the boy was fraught with anger and hurt.

Kaie was hit with waves of sadness and hurt.

The anger within the boy was there, but not as strong as the other emotions.

"What are you doing here?

No one comes to visit me."

Kaie turned so that her whole body faced the boy.

"I am here to help you."

There was no nervousness in her voice.

Branwen only watched.

"No one can help me.

They put me her to forget about me.

Nobody wants or loves me."

A sad smile crept across his face.

"They ridiculed you, thought you possessed.

They are cruel to me as well."

"I know.

I have seen you in the village.

I have heard what they say to you and that they throw things at you as they did me.

What I do not understand is how you are not angry with them.

Why do you not…"

The boy was reaching for the right words in the silence.

Kaie continued his thought, "Throw things back?

Tear up their possessions?

Break into their homes as you did?"

The boy only stared at her, waiting for an answer.

"Because, in my heart, I know they do not understand me, and what I can do.

They are afraid of what they do not know.

They have seen the Druids come to my home, and the villagers, being Catholic, think I

am consorting with demons.

They know not of what I am, or what I wish for myself."

"Your parents?"

"I have none.

They passed when I was fourteen."

The boy's eyes grew wide, but only by a hair, enough for Kaie to feel the surprise.

"So, you can do what you wish, and you choose to stay there and be… be… yelled at?

That makes no sense."

"I wish to prove to them that Druids do not call demons.

That is why I stay.

My calmness in the face of all the ridicule is to show them that they have nothing to

fear, and that I do not fear them."

The boy sat across from Kaie, puzzled.

She was feeling curiosity from the boy, the other feelings were still there, but fading

a small bit.

"So, I should have not done anything?

I don't understand.

They were mean to me, and threw things at me.

I was just to stand there and let it happen?"

Kaie nodded, "Yes, you see, in doing as you did, you only made them be more hurtful

to you.

There are days that the people of the village leave me be, and do not yell at me."

The boy looked astonished.

"Really?"

She nodded again, "They could deny bartering with me for food and materials for my clothing,

but they do not.

They could forbid me from entering their shops, but they do not.

All this, I believe is because they do not understand who I am, and what I can do, I

have not harmed them, and I believe they know that I will not.

Do you see?"

It's Time to End Energy Poverty - Duration: 1:48.

We are standing in front of one of the

houses that had been renovated. These are

old houses, so smaller houses and that

do not meet up to the standards of

energy efficiency. So it's people with

lower incomes that don't have the

means themselves to renovate their house. And

then the City Council comes in. So in that sense

it is a very interesting project

to make sure that people who don't have

the means themselves can have a good

renovation of their house, so it becomes

more energy efficient. And what do we

have we have a lower energy bill for

the people and we have a way of meeting

our climate goals at the very local level. And

that's for me the most important lesson

of today:

how can you make sure that the European

legislation made in Brussels by

the Parliament and the Council is

meeting up with the very local goals of

tackling energy poverty, but also

tackling climate change. Both need

each other and you can learn from each

other.

I've seen our vice president of the

Commission Maroš Šefčovic but also the

acting President of the Council

Minister Mizzi listening very carefully

and they will use that as well to shape the

energy policy at the European level. I

strongly believe that you can change

the world, you can tackle climate change,

you can combat inequality at the very

local and the very European level; the

two of them should be combined together.

We are in Pre RE-Birth process/phase right now which is very NEW � 29th January 2017

I have had a couple of signs by Spirit we are �preparing� for a very new Re-Birth�as

in, it is on �it�s way�.

We have not been given indication of a pre re-birth previously, so this is new in this

way.

Due to this and after our recent frequency vibration rising, many parts of ourselves

are coming up and out and are fluctuating.

It has been quite interesting to run through a gamut of emotions in one day, as in one

moment anger and then one notices this and breathes and releases and then one is feeling

very attuned and aligned�and then one can feel some other emotion arise briefly again.

Each of these feels very valid at the time and if one notices this, then one can shift

this and continue to keep doing this to continue to balance through these �choppy waters�

that we are traversing.

This is a �settling� in period of balancing out from our recent frequency shift and passing

through the eye of the needle � BB posts 26th & 28th January 2017.

To settle/calm the waters down and to balance our boat on the water.

As we are heading for a very new horizon in the near distance.

Attention, Duelists! card games on

telephones hey everyone CrashLove37

here in case you didn't know I fucking

love Yugioh not as it is now get that shit

outta here no i'm talking about the

original series i played the card game

competitively since the time it came out

to about 2011 when I heard there was yugioh

mobile game coming out my first

thought was Konami still makes games?

my second thought was awesome i hope it

doesn't screw the rules and plays the

actual card game

I was kinda right it mostly follows

the rules except you only have three

slots for monsters three slots for

spell traps and there's no main phase 2

you start with 4000 lifepoint's there's

a 20 card deck minimum all this makes

perfect sense for mobile settings and

make sure those go by a lot faster than

you normally would and you still have

the ninety percent luck

Ten percent skill of actual yugioh the game

actually has a lot of content for a

mobile game

you unlock characters as you level up

you can level up those characters to

unlock gems currencies cards various

abilities the abilities alter the game

in your favor whether it's placing a

field spell automatically at the start

of the game or just straight up cheating like

bandit Keith currently there isn't any

large pool of cards to use but it looks

like Konami will be supporting this game

fairly regularly there is a spoiler out

there for the next set in the game i

think it was a datamine it might be a

rumor not sure but there is an event

kind of happening right now it plays a lot

like Duelist Kingdom where you collect

star chips from beating opponents you can duel

Pegasus to win exclusive cards it's

a really cool event if they can get to

work

I've been able to play the Duelist kingdom

one time but they keep taking it down

for server issues that brings me to

another point the game was working fine

until they started updating for the event

then the servers went down for

maintenance but when they did bring it

back up they gave everybody a bunch of

gems take notes niantic actually been

giving out gems constantly since release

I don't expect this to continue because

again this is a free-to-play game and to

buy cards of course you need that

premium currency one thing this

game does right is the pvp you can jump

into a duel against other players

anytime you don't have to wait for

resources to replenish like clash of

clans you still gett experience every

time you win you can rank up and you're

not waiting for a reward spot to open

like other games I've covered all

the gameplay as far as the cosmetics the

game looks great

each character has

a variety of poses they look like they do

in the anime the original voice actors

provided sound clips and it makes it

feel like more than just a cash grab the

story is basically Kaiba being a dick

as usual traps everybody in a virtual

Battle City like area or that's what I

got from it it's a Yugioh game so the

story doesn't matter

overall I give Yugioh Duel Links an 8 out of

10 when they fix the events and release

more cards i probably give it a nine

it's fun free and pretty accurately

captures the experience of the first

series of Yugioh if you've ever enjoyed

This was a very popular suggestion by one of you guys, I mean we are always faced with decisions in life.

But these are hyopthetical decisions that you'll probably never come across in a lifetime

But it doesn't matter, since these are hypothetical, they won't be in a real life scenario

So, we're just going to try to make the best decisions

So without further ado

I think we're gonna try and answer with choices we're gonna wanna make

So, let's just jump right into this

Alright the first question is

Would you rather have been born to a wealthy family or work for you wealth?

This one is always an intriguing question

Cause, I mean, you can either inherit the money

From your parents

And practically enjoy life from when you were born

Or you can get the satisfaction of knowing

that you've worked very hard for your money and finding success

By the way,

I want you guys to answer every single one of these questions

down below, in the comment section

Cause I'll really like to know what you guys think about this

Personally, for me I think I would like to work for my wealth

Cause I feel like if I was born to a wealthy family,

I wouldn't actually appreciate the value of money

I wouldn't have a sense of how hard other people have it

People that don't make alot

Or people that are poor

Well when you come from like middle class or lower class

and you work your way up

I feel like you value it a lot more

And you would actually enjoy your money more

than you would versus inheriting it

Or like being born with it

But, I don't know

A lot of people would say they'd rather be born to a wealthy family

So, it's up to your personal opinion actually

Okay, next question is

Do you want money and fame or health and prosperity?

So, for example, let's say

You could live up to 20 years old

but, you have a lot of money and you're famous

Or you can live up to 80 years old

but, you have helth and prosperity

So, you have a very valuable life

You lived it well

This one is also a very hard choice

I don't know what I'd do honestly

You'd think you'd have a very happy life when you have a lot of money

and famous

But, at the same time

It might not be the case at all

You guys are gonna have to help me out with this one

Number 2, I don't know what I'd chose actually

Okay, this one's a funny one

Would you rather constantly smell like poop,

or constantly smell poop that no one else can smell?

So, this one has to do with how selfish you really are

Like, if you don't care that you smell like poop

As long as you don't smell it yourself

Then you'd go with the first choice

But, if you care about what other people think about you

More than what you think about yourself

You would definitely go with the second choice

I think that I'd probably go with the second choice

I'd rather smell poop all the time

Then actually smell like poop

Like, no one would want to be around me if I smelled like poop

they're gonna be like

"Yeah, that guy smells like shit all the time. I'm not hanging out with him anymore"

Like everyone in the movie theater was like

"What's that smell?"

I think it's just kinda-kinda weird

Like, imagine you never even knew you smelled like poop?

Alright, this one is a very difficult one

Would you rather be deaf or blind?

Just straight up

You just have to answer

To be honest,

I think I'd rather be deaf

I feel like it's easier for deaf people versus blind people

I mean, I can't tell, obviously

Since I'm not deaf or blind

But, as someone who is deaf, I still think you can drive

You can read, you can see color

I mean

You can basically do anything except hear people's voices

I don't know

Like I said these are the hardest choices

you'd have to make

But, I'd think I'd rather be deaf then blind

Hopefully, I never become either

Would you like a yacht or a jet?

Like if someone just offered

Oh shit, this is so hard

Imagine sailing the world

That has to be so much fun

But, imagine having your private jet.

But, maybe, probably a jet if I was really passionate

about travelling and just getting places quickly

If I was just more laid back and just like, I have time, I don't care

I would get a yacht

Do you want looks or smarts?

Because I know a lot of people that would not be able to at all

They would not be able to answer this

looking good is more like a first impression kind of thing

Like, imagine if you meet someone that looks very good

If they have a shitty personality

Or they're very stupid,

It just makes them look ugly

It literally makes them look ugly

But, at the same time when you can see past someone's looks

Let's say if you're very ugly,

but you have a great personality and you're very smart,

and you can see past that,

I feel like you're a very fun person to be around

Especially intrigue someone who challenges your intelect

I might have to go with smarts

I know that seems very cheesy and like, very cliche

But, in honesty

Like I cannot be around people that are very.. Stupid.

Would you like infinite money or the perfect romantic partner?

I would go with the perfect romantic partner.

Imagine you had that connection

That's all that matters

You'd be very satisfied with life if you have someone like that.

Would you rather lose an arm or a leg?

I think I'd rather lose a leg

Cause if you still have your arm you can still drive

You'd just have to be in a wheelchair pretty much

Or you're gonna have to have crutches all the time

I think I'm gonna have to go with the leg, but this one is very tough

Would you rather always have to speak your mind or never speak your mind again?

Oh

No!

So if you always spoke your mind

I don't know

I feel like you could say a lot of rude things or things that are very inappropriate times

But, if you never speak your mind, I feel like you might go crazy.

Maybe, I'd rather always speak my mind versus never speak your mind again

Cause if you never speak your mind, you'd literally go insane

What if you found the cure to cancer and you're just like

"I can't speak my mind. I can't tell you what it is."
