In Davos, Trump Warns Palestinians: Work With US or Face Cash Cuts

President Donald Trump met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu today in Davos,

Switzerlan.

Netanyahu was very appreciative to President Trump for keeping his promise to move the

US embassy to Jerusalem.

After the brief meeting the president was asked about Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas�s

recent attacks on Trump and his family.

The president warned the Palestinians to start working with the US or face cuts in US aid.

President Trump: �Uh, No I didn�t really read his remarks personally.

I think I�m probably better off not seeing them, but we�ve done a lot for them, and

hopefully they�re going to make peace for their people.

You know what, it�s many years of killing people, it�s many years of killing each

other.

They have to be tired and disgusted of it.

Let�s see what happens.

I think eventually, very sound minds, I hope sound minds are going to prevail.

And it would be a great achievement to mine that said it from day one if we could make

peace between Israel and the Palestinians if we do that I would consider that one of

our truly great achievements, but the money is on the table.

You know the money was never on the table I tell you up front.

We give them tremendous amounts, hundreds of millions of dollars a year that money is

on the table because why should we do that as a country if they�re doing nothing for

us and what we want to do for them has helped them.

We want to create peace and save lives and we�ll see what happens, we�ll see what

happens.

But the money is on the table.

could give us more than just laughs.

Futurama-Jurassic Bark Futurama is not only a sharp, hilarious show,

but the world it embodies is both rich in details and visually stunning.

But the sad truth is, Fry unintentionally leaves his loved ones behind when he ends

up frozen.

When Fry tries to clone his old dog, Seymour, who has been fossilized, he discovers that

Seymour lived for 12 more years after he got frozen, so he decides that he lived a full

life and there's no point in cloning him.

What comes next is the most heartbreaking montage imaginable, with the cute little doggie

waiting for fry at the pizza place where he told him to wait, as the years go by and everything

changes around him, until he finally rests his head and closes his eye.

North Korea PLOT: US and South Korea agree plan to STOP Kim Jong-un

THE United States and South Korea announced that "watertight coordination" of sanctions

and pressure on the North by the two countries is currently under way.

South Korea's nuclear envoy and a senior US Treasury official discussed cooperation in

maintaining pressure on North Korea to stop its nuclear and missile development.

A South Korean ministry spokesman said: "The two shared the view that watertight coordination

is under way between South Korea and the US in their sanctions and pressure on the North.

"They also agreed that they will maintain close cooperation to induce the North out

to the path toward denuclearisation."

Lee Do-hoon, special representative for Korean Peninsula peace and security affairs, met

with Sigal Mandelker, US Treasury undersecretary for terrorism and financial intelligence,

in Seoul today.

Ms Mandelker was in South Korea for a two day stay as part of her East Asia tour that

includes stops in China and Japan.

Her visit follows Wednesday's announcement by the US of new sanctions aimed at stopping

North Korea's nuclear weapons development.

The US urged China and Russia to expel North Koreans raising funds for the programs.

The US Treasury imposed sanctions on nine entities, 16 people and six North Korean ships

it accused of helping the weapons programs.

US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said: "Treasury continues to systematically target

individuals and entities financing the Kim regime and its weapons programs, including

officials complicit in North Korean sanctions evasion schemes.

"The US government is targeting illicit actors in China, Russia, and elsewhere who

are working on behalf of North Korean financial networks, and calling for their expulsion

from the territories where they reside."

These new sanctions on Pyongyang, are the eighth of their kind under the Donald Trump

administration.

Ms Mandelker trip came at a time when North Korea issued an announcement to "all Koreans"

on both sides of the peninsula's border calling for reunification.

That followed yesterdays announcement by a high-ranking South Korean official said that

now is the "best time" for the US and North Korea to hold talks following the peaceful

mood created by the North's planned participation in the upcoming PyeongChang Winter Olympics.

Developing AMCA/ LCA AF Mk2 with US & France assistance | update 7 - Duration: 7:02.

Production rate per year number of HAL has been flagged for many years and now it's in

public domain.

On top, HAL has been accusing IAF of not ordering more Russian Jets recently.

In a paper, HAL mentioned making Su35 = 4 squadrons quickly in HAL facilities with limited

changes.

IAF rote back saying acquisition cost versus present MKI will increase by almost 20% for

Su-35 on Capex side and maintenance cost will rise up by 50% approx over OPEX side.

IAF also rebuked stating instead of HAL suggesting Russian Jets, priority should be focussed

on LCA project and meeting squadron numbers first over any other new project.

IAF also submitted to MOD a report stating how such low production rates are hurting

IAF more over anything else.

In a strongly worded message, MOD has told HAL to focus on meeting deadlines over fretting

for order books position.

MOD/GOI had sanctioned internally the amalgamation of AMCA and LCA MK2 projects.

Primarily each of these planes will have the technology and technical assistance with 2

major aerospace giants.

Each of these giants will work in isolated cells comprising of either DA or LM with DRDO/ADA/HAL.

At no point of time, there will be a direct interaction between DA and LM but the plane

(LCA Mk2 and AMCA) parts, subsystems and every level of the blueprint is charted out to be

sourced from our indigenous project and DRAL and TATA-LM JV based ecosystem.

LCA Mk2 interior housing and cell manufacturing is primarily based out of F-16 with inside

space, mounts and orientation drawing from the very best of LM and DA expertise and changes

made accordingly.

In a brief, the MK2 project is like 50% with HAL/ADA/DRDO, 30% with LM and 20% with DA

and the ecosystem supported by DRAL and Tata.

AMCA is reverse of this number with 50% with HAL/ADA/DRDO, 30-35% with DA and 15-20% LM

subject to critical tech flowing from LM into AMCA or else DA will take more stake in % terms

shared with ADA/HAL.

This critical tech of LM is allowing F-35 subsystems and integration from ADIR - Israeli

F35 systems.

Though LM and US gov has made it clear that F-35 access is only after F-16 acceptance

by India in considerable numbers.

A separate G2G F-35 deal is supposed to have timeslot closer to 2028+ without priority

clearance from Senate/POTUS, thus a greater push is via F-16 deal and getting accorded

the priority purchase.

With recent IAF infrastructure plan with the French side, LM has upgraded the F-16 capability

further.

The Drone command system of F-35 is now for integration for Indian F-16 from day 1 and

is pushed as an add-on relaxation/goodie.

This Drone command system will enable F-16s and later users (like F-35s and in future

IAF wants Rafales F4.2/AMCA) to command Guardian and Avenger NG.

To the IAF query on large IR and overweight of the gracefully aged F-16, there is a material

change proposed by LM for the overall body of F-16 which will make it lighter and incorporate

Semi Stealth Features to keep it relevant for next 30-40 years.To the main contention

about new F-16 finding it difficult versus more modern fighters, LM has assured MOD that

it will prove its superiority and relevance.

To this MOD has gone ahead with IAF recommendation of a technical evaluation but added one more

plane to the list of contenders - F-16, Gripen E and Mig 35.

The underlying thought process is that winner is pre-decided but the process must be followed

to show relevancy and performance in a fair evaluation for the public.

The likely reason is to keep matters transparent for not letting any political opposition in

future.

Also, other planes won't get cleared for the competition owing to a minimal cost, footprint,

opex and Forward Base stationing + usage primarily for all missions.

This clears the way of the two main MII projects - one for Rafale via DRAL route and one for

F-16/F-35 under SP route.

Next up is the timeline which will get firmed up soon.

Expected to finalise soon is the technical assistance in LCA Mk1A (to be inducted in

sufficiently large order) project by DA and agreement of AMCA assistance by DA between

GOI and French government bodies during Prez Macron Visit.

For the Rafale follow-on orders - the premises have become much bigger.

Beyond doubt, the plan for Rafale numbers is clearly there with the rest of the plan

now shaping firmly up and becoming more clearer.

On super upgrade, Thales is coming up with a bigger size and higher powered RBE 2 AESA

radar for Super MKI.

DRAL will make parts for Qatari and other new deals and India will try and swing few

orders by its way as part of multination efforts.

There is also a delinking of the earlier insistence of US government for EMALS, Aircrafts and

E2D Hawkeye as a package.

The three main components - The French assistance in aircraft carriers, Rafale-M and also E-2D

Hawkeye -piecemeal basis order is now allowed.

This is a great news with potentially MRCBF moving towards the change of certain aspects

and systems to suit the winning air wing which will be common for both the carriers.

This goes in line with an earlier communique of IAF and IN clearly asking for Rafales for

both the forces.

On squadron depletion, there is now lesser worry, the blueprint is now almost clearly

spelt out.

Important to note the Russian negotiations for S-400 and S-500 HTK components is not

South Korea-U.S. joint military drills to be held immediately after Olympics: U.S. JCS - Duration: 0:31.

The United States has confirmed that the South Korea-U.S. joint military drills will be held

immediately after PyeongChang Winter Olympics are over.

According to Bloomberg, U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff director, Kenneth McKenzie, told

reporters that Seoul and Washington will avoid conflict during the Olympics but will hold

drills right after the Games wrap up.

South Korea's defense ministry has also said the drills will be held as normal after the

Olympics,... but has not elaborated on the schedule.
