Hi guys. Ivan Temelkov here from
RazorSharpDigital.com, a human
marketing agency that helps brands forge
their digital governance through
human-to-human convergence. I wanted to pop
on here real quick and talk about a few
things today that I want to share with
you guys. I think you're gonna find some
value and so first of all one of the
things that really wanted to touch upon
is competition. I think competition
especially in the digital space is
becoming a lot more fierce. A lot more
companies are emerging. There's a lot
more individuals that are doing digital,
social, content, search marketing and I
think it's just creating a very
competitive landscape. So, with that being
said one thing that I really want to
talk about is that you don't
have to be the first to market.
You don't have to be the first one to be
doing something however be the best at
what you're doing. Ok?
What I mean by that is find a way
to perfect what you're trying to do
whether it's social media marketing or
content marketing or digital marketing
or integrated marketing or whatever it
is that you're trying to do and just
become the best at it because in terms
of recognition in the marketplace that
is your competitor,
competitive separation. How you do
things. The execution aspect of it. How
you strategize. How do you implement and
how you execute upon that. I think one of
the biggest misconceptions nowadays
especially in the digital space is that
everyone else is doing what you are already
doing so there's no room for any more
newcomers into the digital space age and
I think that's completely wrong.
I think there's plenty a room for
newcomers into the digital space or for
others who have been in the digital
space to find ways to perfect their
methods and become better at what they
are doing. The strategy,
the implementation, their execution. Again
whether it's you're trying to become a
really good social media strategist or
a good content writer or a good
digital strategist. You know? I think
there's plenty of room. You just
have to find a way how to do it better
than everybody else which of course is
the million-dollar question. Um, so
that's the first thing i want to talk
about. I think it's really really
important to understand the importance
of becoming the best at what you can do.
Because that is the only way that I
think you are going to be able to
separate yourself from the competition.
The second thing I want to talk about is
The Human Business Narrative Podcast
Episode 3 which is going to be available
over the next couple of days on
iTunes. I had the pleasure to interview a
top influencer, 30 under 30, Shama Hyder (www.shamahyder.com)
who is the founder of Marketing Zen and
as she indicated in the podcast
(without giving too much away, I'll let you
guys listen to the full episode) once it goes
live,
perhaps being in the first social media
marketing agency. That's right the first
social media marketing agency and her
agency, Marketing Zen and again let me
take a step back for a second. One of the
reasons why I wanted to interview Shama
Hyder is because she is someone that
has propelled into the digital
marketplace quite fast, built a
company that services clients like NASA
for instance, Dippin' Dots and had some
involvement with the Trump campaign, some
of the social media endeavors also there
as well. So, this is someone that you know
has worked with Fortune 100 companies,
someone that has a book out as well
called Momentum that is intended to
provide insights and value and strategies
to those interested in figuring out
how to use digital digital media
marketing to help them grow their
business and FYI - I will be giving away a
copy of the book Momentum so make sure
that you subscribe to The Human Business
Narrative Podcast at http://bit.ly/hbnpodcast
is a boy and as a Nancy podcast that's
bit.ly/hbnpodcast
for a chance to win a
copy of a sign Momentum book by Shama
Hyder who is considered to be a top
influencer. 30 under 30 as named by
Forbes. So, I wanted to hop on here and talk
about these things because again first
just to kind of recap real quick this
session
You don't have to be the first at what
you do.
You don't have to be the first but be
the best. Find a way to perfect your
methods and implement and execute better
than everyone else because that will
help you establish that competitive
positioning. That will help you establish
that market recognition. That will help
you develop likability and trust by
others. That way people can buy from you.
iIfyou have that likeability and trust
Um,
