World reacts to Trump's immigration ban - Duration: 2:17.

U.S. President Donald Trump's immigration policy is coming up against a wave of challenges

from in and outside the country.

Some politicians are even calling for a probe into whether Trump abused his constitutional

authority.

Lee Unshin takes a close look.

"Refugees are welcome here."

The world is still reacting to U.S. President Donald Trump's executive order, announced

last week, which includes a temporary ban on refugees and immigration from seven Muslim-majority

countries.

Thousands took to the streets of New York, marching to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement

office in Lower Manhattan.

"I believe that everyone should have the chance to be here and we can't profile on religion

and race."

"It's really such a rouse to think that it's about security because every security expert

agrees that this will actually only make us less safe."

Trump's controversial executive order has also infuriated politicians.

Texas Congressman Joaquin Castro is among a number of Democrats calling for an investigation

into "whether President Trump intentionally exceeded his constitutional authority."

Castro took to Twitter on Wednesday to say that if President Trump ordered the U.S. Customs

and Border Protection agency to ignore a court order that goes against his executive order...

Trump should be "censured as a warning.

If he does it again Congress should remove him."

The Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, joined several world leaders

in criticizing the order, saying that such measures could spread anxiety and anger that

could spur terror organizations to recruit new members.

"The U.S. policy is not the way ... to best protect the U.S. or any other country in relation

to the serious concerns that exist about the possibility of terrorist infiltration.

... I think these measures should be removed sooner rather than later."

The Portuguese politician, who began his service at the UN on January 1st,

also said that while countries have the right to manage their borders, their actions cannot

be based on any form of discrimination because that would go against "the fundamental principles

and values on which our societies are based."

History of my Phones 📱 - Duration: 3:15.

Hey guys, Haim here.

And this is a history to my phones.

So my first phone was the HTC Explorer.

It was a very nice little phone.

And as you can see from this post from 2012, i was very excited to get it.

it had a 12 hundred mah battery a 3MP camera

512MB of internal storage and a 3.2 inch, 480 screen.

After a long while I got upgraded to my dad's Galaxy S3, when he got the S4.

That was a much bigger phone, in all aspects.

It had a 21 hundred mah battery an 8MP camera that can shoot 1080p video

a 4.8 inch 720p screen and my model has 16BG of internal storage

that can be expanded with an external sd card

Long after that, again, I got my dad's S4, when he got the S6.

Starting to see a trend here?

26 hundred mah battery, 16gb of storage, again expandable

a 5 inch 1080p screen and a 13MP 1080p camera

AFTER that, I got the Galaxy S7 Edge, considered by many the best phone of 2016.

And no, not my dad's, brand new.

A very, very nice, big phone Compared to the Explorer, this monster packs

a 36 hundred mah battery a 5.5 inch quad HD display

32 gigs of expandable storage and 12MP UHD camera.

And while a hit you with some b-roll, I would like to thank you for watching and remind

U.S. defense chief says N. Korea's nuclear issue is Washington's top security priority - Duration: 2:07.

U.S. Defense Secretary James Mattis is in Seoul... on his very first mission as the

Pentagon chief.

He has also become the first American official to visit South Korea since the Trump administration

took office in Washington.

The defense chief said he would sound out ally South Korea on efforts to address North

Korea's nuclear and missile programs... including plans to deploy a U.S. missile defense system

here.

Mattis' visit comes amid concern that the North may be readying to test a new ballistic

missile, in what could be an early challenge for U.S. President Donald Trump's administration.

Our Connie Kim starts us off.

The new U.S. Defense Secretary James Mattis made clear that the Trump administration views

the Seoul-Washington alliance as a priority when he met with South Korean senior officials

in Seoul on Thursday.

Having chosen South Korea as the first destination of his first official trip overseas, he separately

met with South Korean Acting President Hwang Kyo-ahn and National Security Office Chief

Kim Kwan-jin and highlighted Washington's security commitment to Seoul.

Meeting with Hwang, Mattis said the new U.S. administration will build on the strong relationship

it has inherited and that the two countries must go together in responding to North Korean

threats.

Acting President Hwang in response said he hopes to see progress in dealing with Pyongyang

with Mattis' visit to Seoul as he highly assessed the 60-year's alliance.

Mattis also hinted that reaffirming the THAAD unit deployment to the Korean peninsula was

an important reason for his decision to visit Seoul in a timely manner.

The top U.S. defense chief stated that the Trump administration will deal with North

Korea's nuclear threats as a top security priority and agreed with National Security

Office Chief Kim that both allies will strongly respond to any additional North Korean provocation.

The main event in Mattis' agenda is scheduled for Friday, when he will sit down for formal

talks with his South Korean counterpart Han Min-koo.

What message the two defense chiefs will send to North Korea is one point to keep an eye

on... and the North's response... is another.

Hyundai Motor sees steady U.S. sales in January - Duration: 2:30.

It was all smiles for Korean automaker Hyundai Motor in the first month of the year, on the

back of strong sales in the U.S.

But with Donald Trump stepping up his protectionist rhetoric, it seems the Korean automaker is

gearing up to respond.

Kim Min-ji reports.

Hyundai Motor saw steady sales growth in the U.S. market in January.

The automaker, Korea's largest, sold over 46-thousand-500 cars in the U.S. last month,...

up 3-point-3 percent from a year ago.

The solid performance was led by strong sales of the automaker's sports utility vehicles,...

including the Santa Fe and the Tucson.

Sales of the Santa Fe rose more than 53 percent from the same period last year to over 78-hundred

units.

Tucson sales also rose over 10 percent.

In Hyundai's compact car lineup,...

Accent sales were up almost 40 percent,... while Elantra sales jumped 33 percent.

Amid the otherwise good news, sales of Hyundai's popular Sonata model slipped to just under

79-hundred,... down 48 percent from last year.

That's raised concerns that a sales slump for mid-sized sedans could drag down the company's

sales figures overall.

This could spell trouble for Hyundai,... which is already bracing for stronger protectionist

measures under President Donald Trump.

Trump has made it clear that he will implement policies that advance his "America First"

campaign theme by reviving the manufacturing sector and creating new jobs.

The auto industry is one of the areas that could be hard hit... if Trump imposes heftier

tariffs on exports.

Amid such concerns,...

Hyundai has re-applied for membership with the American Chamber of Commerce,... which

is seen as a bridge for bilateral economic ties.

Hyundai also recently announced plans to invest 3-point-1 billion U.S. dollars in the U.S.

over the next five years.

That's up about 50 percent from the previous five-year period.

Although the automaker said the investment has nothing to do with Trump,... it comes

at a time when the new American president has threatened higher tariffs on imported

vehicles... and vowed to cut taxes and regulations for companies operating in the U.S.

He recently urged America's "big three" automakers to build more factories in the country, and

other foreign automakers have announced new investments in the U.S., including Toyota,

which will invest 10 billion dollars over the next five years.

FLASHBACK Obama Admin Made Canada Pay For A $2 BILLION Border Bridge - Duration: 2:29.

FLASHBACK Obama Admin Made Canada Pay For A $2 BILLION Border Bridge.

BY KATIE FRATES.

The Obama administration made Canada pay for the entirety of a $2 billion border bridge

by refusing to cover the U.S. customs plaza.

President Donald Trump is currently pushing to build a U.S.-Mexico border wall; the wall

was a major cornerstone of his presidential campaign.

He signed an executive order Wednesday starting the walls construction.

A nation without borders is not a nation, Trump said.

Beginning today, the U.S. gets back control of its borders. (RELATED: Trump Signs Executive

Orders To Construct Border Wall And Increase Deportations)

Canada agreed to pay for the new Detroit-Windsor bridge, U.S. customs building and the access

roads around the bridge in 2015, according to The Globe and Mail.

Ottawa failed to get the U.S. to pay for the $250 million customs building, and the Canadian

government had already agreed to pay for 95 percent of the bridges costs.

The bridge is scheduled to be finished in 2020.

In 2012, former Prime Minister Stephen Harper insisted the customs building was the responsibility

of the U.S. government. Washington, D.C., only said the U.S. would operate and staff

the building not pay for it and Canada caved.

The original agreement between Michigan and Canada included a provision stating that if

U.S. federal funds werent available for the customs building, Canada and its private

partnerships would pay, according to CBC News.

Trump hasnt explained how exactly the U.S. will get Mexico to pay for the wall, but he

hinted Thursday American taxpayers could pay for it initially.

Speaker of the House Paul Ryan said the wall could cost anywhere from $12 to $15 billion.

Then-Sens. Barack Obama, Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton all helped pass a 2006 law authorizing

construction of 700 miles of fencing along the southern border.

How to Stop Emotions from Controlling Your Life - Duration: 8:00.

Emotions are designed by nature to be fleeting.

They are meant to rise to the surface of our bodies to be felt, acknowledged, and released,

once and for all.

Emotion just wants to be recognized.

Biologically, emotion means to prompt us for action, give us important information about

our surroundings, motivate us and help us communicate to others.

However, most of us have learned to ignore this internal guidance system and avoid 'negative'

emotions altogether.

We have learned to unconsciously shut down our body's internal processing system when

we start to feel any signs of vulnerability, fear, or rejection.

We stop our bodies from allowing these natural emotions to rise up and convey their message.

We do this when we overuse television, social media, alcohol/drugs, or partake in any addictive

behavior.

Another common way we avoid emotion is by distracting ourselves with meaningless activities.

Shopping and amassing material goods are the most common ways we distract ourselves in

first world countries.

Although denying emotion is prevalent in our world today, we can't ignore the substantial

consequences we incur from doing so.

When we deny ourselves the ability to feel unpleasant emotions, they don't just go

away because we haven't paid attention to them.

We actually end up holding these emotions in the cells of our bodies, because they were

not able to run their biological course.

The body will store any emotion that is not acknowledged, as a way of preserving it, so

it can fulfill its function at a later time.

But emotion is not designed to be stored in the body.

The very act of pushing away emotion causes our bodies, and minds, to weaken.

Our bodies can and will slip into illness and disease because of this.

Anger, depression, anxiety, sadness, and shame are a few common emotions we tend to push

down and carry with us.

This is where the phrase "what you resist, persists," comes into play.

Not acknowledging these emotions encourages them to rise up over and over again, because

they have not fulfilled their purpose yet.

Remember-biologically, they are supplying us with information.

So when these same emotions persist, we must realize we can't stop them from rising up.

These emotions will continue to gain power (and presence in our bodies) until we process

them.

But ultimately, no matter how powerful they feel, they are simply emotions.

They are not something to fear.

We are capable of feeling them, even extreme emotions, without allowing them to hurt us.

We must experience what they feel like in our bodies, interpret their message and then

watch them vanish...for good.

For this is the natural function of all emotion.

Here are some tips to help you how to process and release overwhelming emotion.

In a quiet place where we won't be distracted, get comfortable and take a few cleansing breaths.

When it feels right, we can give our bodies permission to bring up any emotion necessary.

A firm affirmation "It is safe to experience this emotion", sends a direct instruction

to the mind and body, who are intimately connected.

Become an observer.

Scan the body from head to toe.

This scanning is less about doing and more about awareness.

The body will talk to us if we are listening.

Notice any place that draws our awareness.

Does it feel different?

Constricted?

Hot or cold?

Tingling or painful?

It may be subtle or it may be loud.

Pinpoint the area that we are feeling drawn to.

(Our organs are common areas we store unprocessed emotion, i.e. the liver, heart, stomach, etc.)

Place our hands on the area of the body that we are noticing the most.

Take a few long inhalations and exhalations.

We will begin to feel the stored emotion.

Breathe.

Allow the emotion to rise.

We may begin to feel very uncomfortable.

This feeling has caused us to shut down in the past, so we may experience fear at this

point.

Try to observe it and release any thoughts that arise from the fear.

We are practicing allowing the feeling to be there.

Accept it and lean further into it.

Sadness, anger, regret, fear, humiliation, or any number of emotions may rise up.

Follow our body's lead; we may want to cry, stretch, scream, or move in a certain position.

Witness the body, accept the feeling, release any thoughts and lean into the emotion.

We now have the option to take this one step further.

We may want to stop after Step #3 if we are feeling overwhelmed.

If not, we can ask ourselves the question, "What is this emotion related to?".

The emotions we carry with us stem from unhealthy beliefs we hold.

These beliefs may look like, "I'm not good enough," or "I'm unlovable," or "I'm not safe."

Continue to remain quiet, breathe, and hold our hands on the feeling.

We may begin to think of an event or time in our life that has caused us these emotions.

Specific themes, situations, or people may come to mind.

Recognize and contemplate these connections.

If a limiting belief did come to mind, be sure to let it go.

We can do this by stating something like, "I am worthy", or "I am loved", or "I am safe."

We can use any statement that resonates with us.

Whether we have discovered the origin of the emotion or not, it is now time to release.

Emotions want to be felt and acknowledged in order to be released, and we have done

just that.

Also, remember - no feeling is final.

We can thank our bodies and our emotions for communicating with us.

We can show love and gratitude to encourage our body to open up again in the future.

Discovering the limiting beliefs that are responsible for particular emotions is the

quickest way to ensure the emotion is released permanently.

So, if we have not discovered the origin of the emotion, it will likely rise again.

But every time we practice these steps, it becomes easier for us to discover, process

and eliminate these powerfully persistent emotions and limiting beliefs.

We learn how to feel emotions as they arise, and most importantly, not carry them with

us to drag us down and skew our perspectives.

Ultimately, we will feel lighter, freer and happier for it.

DIY Tutorial Learn How to Crochet My Sweet Angel Decoration - Duration: 9:04.

Hi! I'm Donna Wolfe from naztazia.com Today I'm going

to show you how to crochet a My Sweet

Angel decoration. You can find the

written pattern on my website

naztazia.com To do this I'm using one

ball of Aunt Lydia's crochet thread in

size 3. I like this size because it

isn't too thin.

Also you'll need a large pearl for the

head. And some decorations.

I like the 7/8 inch ribbon for the wings

and a size D crochet hook. To begin make

a slipknot and chain 6. This is a more

intermediate pattern so please review my

beginner crochet videos if you need help.

Chain 3.

Make two double crochet stitches

followed by a Chain 2. This is a

traditional solid granny square so

you'll make three double crochet

stitches followed by a chain 2.

For the last corner I like to make a

half double crochet stitch instead of

the normal chain 2 because it

positions the yarn nicely in the middle.

You can see what we've done for round

one.

Now for round 2, begin with the chain 3 and

do a double crochet in the same space.

Now just do 1 double crochet in each

double crochet. In the corner do 2 double

crochet stitches, chain 2, and 2 double

crochet stitches.

Now double crochet across.

In this next corner we're going to do 2

double crochet stitches, chain 2, and 2

double crochet stitches.

Double crochet across.

In the corner do two, two and two again

and then double crochet across.

In this last corner we're going to do 2

double crochet stitches - but instead of

the chain 2, do 1 half double crochet

stitch. You can see what we've done here.

Chain 3 and do 1 double crochet. Double

crochet across the side of the square.

In the corner we're going to do 2 double

crochets, two chains, and two double

crochets. Now, to continue around just do

as we did before:

Double crochet along sides -0 and corners

get two, two, and two.

With that last corner I like to end with

the half double crochet instead of the

chain 2. You can see what we've done. One

more round.

You probably have the hang of this by

now. Two, two, and two in the corners and the

rest just double crochet around.

Now I like to put a decorative edging

called a reverse single crochet around.

Start with the chain, start with a single

crochet, and chain one. Instead of moving

forward you move backwards - single

crochet and chain one.

Single crochet and chain one.

Just takes a bit of practice but it

produces a nice edging.

At the end just slip stitch to the first

single crochet.

I like to starch and stiffen the square a

little bit. I like to take four pieces of

eight inch ribbon and hot glue them into

loops like this - and arrange the angel

like this. Place the decorations on and

then hot glue everything to the solid

granny square. And here is both a pink

and blue My Sweet Angel decoration. To

U.S. defense chief James Mattis visits Seoul - Duration: 1:39.

U.S. Defense Secretary James Mattis is in Seoul ,... as his first overseas trip since

taking office last month.

It's widely expected the new Pentagon chief will deliver a clear message regarding the

Trump administration's security policies and North Korea's continued military threats.

Kim Hyun-bin starts us off.

U.S. Secretary of Defense James Mattis arrived in Seoul on Thursday for his first overseas

trip since taking office less than two weeks ago.

Mattis is currently holding talks with U.S. Forces Korea Commander Vincent Brooks to be

briefed on the current security situation on the peninsula.

That includes the speculation...

North Korea is preparing to launch an intercontinental ballistic missile on February 16th to mark

the birthday of late former North Korean leader Kim Jong-il.

Later in the day, Mattis is set to meet with Acting President and Prime Minister Hwang

Kyo-ahn... and National Security Office chief Kim Kwan-jin.

Those talks are expected to include discussions on U.S. President Donald Trump's Asia and

North Korea policy as well as the importance of the two countries' alliance.

On Friday morning, the first defense minister talks between the two countries under the

Trump administration will be held between Mattis and Seoul's defense chief Han Min-koo.

While all eyes are focused on what results the talks will bring about,... the two allies

had earlier agreed to push ahead with the planned THAAD missile defense system deployment

on the Korean peninsula.

As Mattis wraps up his visit to South Korea, the two defense chiefs are expected to release

a strong joint statement warning North Korea against future provocations.

Afterward, Mattis is set to fly to Tokyo for talks with his Japanese counterpart.

U.S. defense chief says N. Korea's nuclear issue is Washington's top security priority - Duration: 2:00.

U.S. Defense Secretary James Mattis is in Seoul... on his very first mission as the

Pentagon chief.

Here, he said he would sound out ally South Korea on efforts to address North Korea's

nuclear and missile programs... including plans to deploy a U.S. missile defense system

What message the two defense chiefs will send to North Korea is one point to keep an eye

on... and the North's response... is another.
