A Close Friend that I Can't Stand | A-TEEN | EP.15 (ENG SUB_click [cc]) - Duration: 12:20.

Should we date too?

No.

(Kim Junhyuk flirted with me and made another girlfriend!)

(Episode. 15 About Honesty)

Attention, everyone.

Ta-da. Do you know what this is?

What is that? Is it a new bag?

-It looks nice. -It's an old bag.

Nice.

Ta-da. This is called whiskey, children.

-Awesome. -Where did you get it from?

There's a cabinet where my dad collects liquor.

-I stole it from there. -Hey.

What if he finds out?

He'll never find out. It's impossible.

There's so much liquor in there.

I've never drunk liquor in my life.

I'm out.

What are you doing? All six of us are here tonight.

Guys, I heard that we have to sip small amounts of whiskey.

-I did some studying. -You even studied about it?

-Here we go. -Be careful.

Hey, Siwoo.

You're first.

Just a little.

Take small sips.

-Cheers. -Cheers.

Chagi

I think I'm drunk...

Yeobo, you look cute with your cheeks red like that.

We barely even drank.

(Mom)

-Chagi. -Yes?

I think I might throw up.

Do Hana, do we have a plastic bag or something?

We don't.

Use your bag.

Goodness.

Come on, let's go to the bathroom.

Hurry up!

(Lee Jeongmin)

(A-TEEN)

(Tutor)

-(Hello?) -Teacher.

What are you doing?

(Why are you still up at this hour?)

-Well... -(Go to sleep, mister.)

Teacher, I called you because I miss you.

(What are you saying? I'm sort of busy right now.)

(Oh, sorry.)

-Where are you? -(I'm on a club retreat.)

(I'm busy right now. See you on Monday.)

Okay.

Don't drink too much.

(Don't worry about it, I'm good at drinking.)

(Go to sleep, Min.)

What a terrible day.

I told you I'm fine, Grandma.

What? No.

Did you eat dinner?

I don't need any money. It's not a real trip.

I'm just hanging out with my friends.

Yes.

I'll call you when I get home.

Okay, go to sleep.

Okay.

-Kim Hana. -Yes?

Was that your mom or your grandma?

Who do you think?

You saw my mom calling me.

What are you doing here?

Boram and Kihyun are going out,

and it seems like Do Hana and Siwoo will go out soon.

So I gave them some privacy.

Should we date too?

No.

We're the only ones left.

There are rumors at school about us going out anyway.

-It would be natural if we... -Hey.

Don't you have many other girls to go out with besides me?

Just choose someone from that list of yours.

Hey.

I don't have a list.

Don't say that.

You're not my type.

Likewise.

I think...

I'm a better person than you.

No.

You're no better.

Stop lying so much.

All those lies will catch up to you one day.

Lying?

You're the one who's lying.

When nice guys like me lie, it's obvious.

I know.

You should be careful since it's so obvious.

You'll regret it when it's too late.

Just like you right now?

Stop being nice to everyone to try to make everyone like you.

Don't you have any pride?

That's just who I am.

I really want to be a nice guy to everyone.

I know you like someone else.

Your tutor.

-What's wrong with that? -Don't you feel sorry to her?

You're flirting with me and Doha behind her back.

I wonder if your tutor knows.

Hey, I'm sorry to say this...

but I've never flirted with you.

People recognize those who are similar to them.

Didn't you like it too?

Getting involved with me like this.

You even used me. Was that a lie too?

-I never lied! -You didn't pay for this trip.

How do you even attend art school?

Does your grandma pay for it?

Or...

are you pretending to go?

Seriously?

Is it true?

I made a wild guess and I guess it's really true.

What?

-What will our friends think? -Stop it.

-If Doha and Boram find out... -Hey!

(Lee Jeongmin)

Siwoo.

Your phone is ringing.

Someone's been calling you several times.

(Lee Jeongmin)

(Lee Jeongmin)

(Hello?)

Hello?

(Isn't this Siwoo's phone?)

Yes, it is.

-Siwoo is... -(Who are you?)

I'm just...

a friend.

(What kind of friend answers his phone at 3 a.m.?)

(Who the heck are you? Hey, tell me where you are.)

(Answer me!)

I have a headache.

Why did I pretend that nothing was wrong?

Why did I run away at that moment?

I have to go to the bathroom.

I don't know why.

What?

Did I say something wrong?

You're the same.

You knew that Do Hana liked you.

You were lying all along to Siwoo and Do Hana.

You kept pretending not to know.

Was I supposed to tell them?

You knew Siwoo liked Doha, didn't you?

Am I right?

Tell me honestly.

Why are you so angry?

What?

You're...

What are you guys doing?

Isn't it obvious? They're on a date.

You're right.

Boram, are you feeling okay now?

Yes, I'm okay.

What do you mean okay?

She needs some fresh air.

-Whatever, move over. -Enjoy your date!

Hey, go slowly!

-Wait, I feel sick. -Hey, no!

(Recent calls)

(Lee Jeongmin)

(Hey, where are you?)

I'm sorry.

I have...

-something to ask you. -I'm going home now.

To be honest,

I wasn't honest with myself

just now.

Why?

The reason why people don't act honestly...

is because they're afraid.

No reason.

If they start being honest,

they're afraid of facing the cold, harsh truth...

of reality.

(Lee Jeongmin)

(Lee Jeongmin)

(A-TEEN)

-Yes, Father. What's up? -(You jerk!)

(Where are you?)

I, Cha Kihyun, who has followed in your name

am with my close friends right now

having a serious discussion about our futures.

(Cut the nonsense, you idiot.)

(You stole my whiskey for a discussion?)

(You've totally lost your mind, haven't you?)

(Get your butt home right now!)

I'm doomed.

What is the Most Reliable BMW 5 Series You Can Buy? 5 Reliable BMWs - Duration: 8:40.

Welcome back everybody. It's Mark with Exotic Car Play Place. Thanks for coming

back everybody, great to see you here, and today we're gonna have another little

treat for you in a long series of reliable BMWs. You

guys have been asking for the best cars available on the used car market, well

today we're going to talk about the best, most reliable 5 Series BMWs available

today. The focus today is not the fastest car, it's not the cheapest car, it's the

most reliable BMW car. Now let's get started.

The first one happens to be the 2010 to 2011 f10, but it's the 528i specifically,

because if you go a year newer, all of a sudden, BMW switched things up and they

use the turbocharged four-cylinder motor, but in these particular cars, in these

two generation, in this generation those 2 years, still feature the inline 6

engine. This still features the n52 or n53 inline 6, normally aspirated motor,

depending on if you're talking the European version, or the Canadian/US

version, they are very close in design. The European version produces 255

horsepower at 229 pound-feet of torque, while the Canadian or US market version

produces 240 horsepower, with about 221 pound-feet of torque.

Both engines either way create a very lively driving experience, so performance

isn't necessarily something you've given up, but these engines have a long record

of reliability associated with them. While they're not flawless, they are a

very, very sturdy design. The second most reliable vehicle in the 5 Series models

goes to the e39 525i. Now why is that such a great car, well again we talk

about it's the good old fashioned inline six, the two and a half litre inline-six

engine that's been known for its reliability. This is actually the m54 b25

engine that has been around for a while and if

I can make a recommendation, I would say stick with the 2001 to 2003 model years,

because that car also went through the lifecycle impulse, or the LCI updates, so

it was a little bit updated in terms of the overall styling. It was a prettier

car, but it went through all the more recent changes, but it still maintained

that overall reliable two and a half litre inline-six engine that produced

189 horsepower and a hundred and eighty-one foot-pounds of torque, which

was more than enough to light up your day. It had a revised intake, used a fully

electronic throttle with no mechanical backup, an aluminum block, and aluminum

heads, which was very important as these cars developed, they become a little bit

lighter, and a little bit more reliable, it also had a 6,500 rpm red light, and

the dual Vanos. Now the Vanos of course variable valve timing creates a more

drivable car through the rev range because you're varying the timing of the

ca.rTthat would be the only part of the engine that is a little bit more

maintenance intensive, but again overall this two and a half litre inline-six is

a very very reliable machine. Now my third choice goes to a little bit older

car. It's the e34 525 IX, and why is this car so special? Well firstly,

understand it is the two and a half litre, inline-six engine, this one did not

use the double vanos yet, but what's special is this car was produced in

relatively low numbers, and around the tune of under 10,000 cars for the

year, but it was the first car and only model in that five series that utilized

all-wheel-drive, which was a great thing to have for

those people that wanted the extra traction for poor road conditions. Maybe

living further in the north they found this very, very practical, it wasn't an

intrusive setup, it wasn't a particularly unreliable setup, and overall if I can

suggest the 92 to 96 model years for this car is where you want to be. So this

was the M50 b25 engine, so that's B25 being the two and a half liters, but

the m50 motor, which was in I block single overhead cam engine, two and

a half litre inline-six, that utilize knock sensing plastic intake, with ten

and a half to one compression ratio and a 6,500 rpm redline.

It was still able to muster up a hundred and eighty nine horsepower and about a

hundred and eighty pound feet of torque. Now the fourth one on my selection or on

my list happens to be the e39 540i now who said every car that has to be

reliable also has to be slow, and this is a great example of that, because the 540

was built between 1995 and 2003, and actually utilized the 4.4 liter v8

engine that produced 282 horsepower ,and about 320 pound-feet of torque.

Now if you coupled this with a manual gearbox, you had a car that was very, very

comparable to the m5 of the e39 generation, some of the other

reliability concerns that you would have with the m5, the 540, was a more practical

version of an m5, and was how we say de-tuned, possibly it was an entirely

different engine, but it really it was largely a performance car. That being

said, other than typical things like water pumps, and the oddly key item, you

know it was actually a very reliable car. Yeah now because they're getting older,

you're gonna find more issues in the suspension, and bushings, and struts, and

water pumps, and leaky valve cover gaskets, pretty routine stuff, typical BMW,

but overall for a performance car, it was very reliable. Now you have to

understand some of these e39 cars were built in Germany, some were built in

Russia, and some were built in Mexico, so take that for what it's worth, but anyway,

either way, my recommendation for number four is the 540i with a manual

transmission. And so my fifth choice goes out to a 2007 E60 528i.

While generally speaking the E60s weren't the most reliable generation of

all the five series cars that BMW has ever produced, the 528 brings back a

touch of practicality as well as reliability to the whole line. If you

want reliability my recommendation is stay away from the diesels, stay away

from the m5, and even stay away from anything of the larger V8s.

or the 535, with the wonderful n54 motor, that had a host of issues for

reliability. Stay away from those. If you want reliability, you like the Chris

Bengal era, by the 528i, it was very straightforward engine that

produced 240 horsepower and about 230 pound feet of torque. Of course it was a

normally aspirated inline 6, but it was so far refined already, it was a great

crisp performing engine with large amounts of reliability still associated

with it. Now understand the early generations, the reason I would say go

with the later the better 2007 to 2010 of the m-52 B30 engines, the reason I

say go with the later stuff, is because the earlier ones, there were some lifts

or related issues in the engine due to the head design in the engine. It

basically had some lifts or problems and you don't want engine for issues of any

sort. Outside of that, the later models of this engine design we're improved and

overall this car, the 528i in the E60 was a very reliable late model BMW

that you can enjoy and not have to worry about a lot of issues along the way. So

everybody, I really hope you enjoyed that latest list, that is my top 5 rounding

off of the most reliable 5 Series cars that you can find on the used car market

today. If in fact you realize that maybe the 5 series isn't for you, because of

course some people like the smaller sportier cars, of course I created

videos for the most and least reliable 3 series cars available as well, but hey if

you guys have any other ideas or any other recommendations, love to hear it

below in the comment section below. Please share that with me, so all the

other readers and Watchers can certainly capitalize on some of those benefits.

Thanks again everybody. I hope you enjoyed that. We'll talk to you real soon.

See you then. Bye-bye.

A'ūdhu biLlāhi mina sh-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm.

Aṣ-ṣalātu wa s-Salāmu 'alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-awwalīn

wa l-ākhirīn. Madad yā Rasūla Llāh, madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūli Llāh,

madad yā Mashāyikhinā, dastūr Mawlānā Shaykh 'Abdu Llāh

al-Fā'iz ad-Dāghistānī, Shaykh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad.

Ṭarīqatunā ṣ-ṣuḥbah wa l-khayru fi l-jam'iyyah.

Allāh 'Azza wa Jalla wants

goodness for us.

The biggest goodness

we can do is

to love Allāh ﷻ,

to love the Prophet ﷺ.

This is

the greatest goodness.

Because only with love

a man is saved. A person cannot

reach anything

with enmity or disrespect.

Don't be an enemy to Allāh ﷻ.

Don't disrespect the Prophet ﷺ.

Shayṭān is the enemy of Allāh ﷻ.

Who doesn't love our Prophet ﷺ and

disrespects him is also shayṭān.

Therefore, to love our Prophet ﷺ

and to love Allāh ﷻ is farḍ.

The first duty

of Muslims,

the greatest duty for every Muslim

is to love the Prophet ﷺ.

When you don't love him ﷺ,

whatever you do, you can think

you are doing good, it's not good at all.

That is evil. Certainly, at the end

that will be service to shayṭān.

Love is a great favour,

it is good.

You are with that whom you love, says Allāh 'Azza wa Jalla.

Therefore, our Prophet ﷺ is said

whoever you are friends with,

let him be like yourself.

Let him be a good person so that its outcome is good.

When you are with bad person,

you will get harm. Even if you don't

do it, they'll say you're his friend.

Even in dunyā, when something happens,

they look into friends of a bad man.

They question those

who cooperated with him.

Some of them fall into difficult

condition, some are saved from it.

Therefore, as the matters of dunyā

are like this, it is more difficult

for ākhirah.

You can't say "I didn't do it".

They say "Stay away from this person.

Stay away from the evil".

If you can give advice against badness,

our Prophet ﷺ says,

you can prevent it with your hand.

If you can't, you should advise.

If they don't hear your advice,

you should say this person is wrong by heart

and stay away from him.

Allāh 'Azza wa Jalla loves good ones.

Some people presume

Allāh 'Azza wa Jalla loves everyone He ﷻ created.

Allāh 'Azza wa Jalla

loves good people.

It says even in Qur'ān, who comes against Allāh ﷻ,

Allāh 'Azza wa Jalla doesn't love them.

You can't come against Allāh ﷻ.

People think they are smart

and come against Allāh ﷻ.

The disobey

Allāh ﷻ.

They think they are doing something.

There is no escape for them.

We are under possession of Allāh ﷻ.

Possession of Allāh ﷻ is

the whole universe. Everything belongs to Allāh ﷻ.

He ﷻ has no partner.

There is no escape. Sometimes they do

something in this world and run away to other countries.

Other countries protect them.

But people don't have such an opportunity

against Allāh 'Azza wa Jalla. Therefore, don't try your luck

and obey Allāh ﷻ.

Beg Allāh ﷻ.

Ask forgiveness from Allāh ﷻ.

Allāh ﷻ is forgiving, He ﷻ forgives.

Is structured prayer outdated? Can't it all be spontaneous? A Jewish take. - Duration: 3:25.

You're sitting in shul on Yom Kippur, counting down the hours of the fast and how many pages

left to go in the prayer book.

There is still a long way to go.

A lot has happened in your life since last Yom Kippur and in a way this would be a great

time to think about it all.

You think to yourself: Isn't that what prayer is all about – connecting with God about

my own life?

Yet the marathon of Yom Kippur prayers seem far from this.

Their authors knew nothing of my life, and I know little of the words and their meaning.

If this is what prayer has become, surely we are missing the point?

We have amazing examples from the bible of when prayer really meant something for people.

Take Hannah for example.

She was distraught that she was childless and went to the temple to pour her heart out

before God.

She said exactly what she felt and begged God for a child.

She didn't think about fitting into any mould, saying any particular words.

In fact, she was so lost in her own prayer that the high priest thought she was drunk

as she was moving her lips, but not making a sound.

When the sages discussed how Jews should pray, they wanted to capture the passion of Hannah's

prayer and so when we pray the silent Amida we move our mouths without making a sound.

Moses prayed for his sister Miriam to get well.

He said: Kel Na refa na La – Please God heal her!

But his prayer did not need to be any longer: it captured how he felt and his desperate

desire for her to recover.

These prayers were not found in any siddur.

They were true worship of the heart.

Our fixed prayer service, especially in a packed shul of people looks very different

to this.

Rabbi Steinzalts, a great scholar in Israel, compares Jewish prayer in shul to a musical

performance.

The sheet music in front of the musician tells them what music to play, the sequence of notes

and the general mood of the piece.

But every artist's rendition will be different.

In the end the performance expresses the musician as much as the composer.

Our sheet music is the prayer book, and the community around us the rest of the orchestra.

We are the artists who need to put ourselves into the performance.

There are days when artists feel creative and they just want to play freestyle, but

there are other times when pouring their heart and soul into Bethoven's symphony is their

best form of self-expression.

Prayer is exactly that – there are times when it flows and we just talk to God in our

own way using our own language…but then there is also something to singing off the

same sheet that has been used from one generation to the next, adding our own thoughts, feelings

and life experience to the words.

The words of prayer may be ancient but our feelings can be new everyday.

Can Love & Respect Be Evil? - Duration: 12:41.

If this is your first time joining me, my name is Gisele Noel. I've written a

book called Nagging Thoughts From A Proverbs 27:16 Woman. It's based on my

experience with 18 years of marriage to someone with a secret sex life that

unfortunately, despite receiving two and a half years a total of Christian

marriage counseling, nobody was able to come close to even exposing this dynamic

in my marriage. I only started to learn about it after I announced my decision

to divorce. So my book is not just an analysis of what I've been through, but

it really is a critical analysis of some of the best-selling Christian marriage

theology that was out there that enabled this deception to go on for as long as

it did. So with that said, I want to turn to today's topic which is the question,

"Can Love & Respect be evil?" So if anybody is unfamiliar, I'm actually

referring to a book called Love and Respect and lest anyone think that I am

unduly picking on this book or (it's) the author, I do want to just

categorically answer the question that "can very well-respected Christians be

under the influence of evil?" The Bible makes it very clear that the answer is a

resounding "yes." I'm just going to briefly reference Mark

chapter 8 verse 33, this is Jesus speaking and He says, "But after turning

and looking at his disciples, he rebuked Peter and said, 'Get behind me, Satan. You

are not setting your mind on God's interests, but on man's.'" interests. What's

particularly fascinating about this scripture reference to me, which by the

way in case anybody's not familiar with the context, Jesus just told His

disciples about His plan that He is about to go to the cross and die. And

Peter pulls Him aside and tries to rebuke Jesus and tell Him this is

not a good plan. In his mind Jesus was going to be a political leader that was

going to help them cast off their oppressors, and so he's trying to

influence Jesus to not go forward with this plan that He's announced. And Jesus

says, "Get behind me, Satan" which again is very interesting to me because my

Catholic friends believe that Peter is the one in which all apostolic authority

is grounded. So this is extremely significant that Jesus is saying that

Peter is able to be under the influence of Satan, and his thinking, that he is

thinking in terms of man and not in terms of godly things. So if Peter who is

so well respected is able to be under the influence of Satan, certainly any

lesser spiritual (you know) Christians can be under the influence of evil. And we

are called to test the spirits and to not just accept any teaching. So it's a

fair question to ask, "Is this evil?" So let's go ahead and take a look what is

this book about. Is it about man or is about God? I'm

looking in the introduction here and it's titled Love Alone Is Not Enough and

it says very clearly quote, This book is about how the wife can fulfill her need

to be loved by giving her husband what he needs -- respect." Now before I continue

on with this analysis, "Is this a god-honoring thought or is this a man-

honoring thought,?", I do want to just say that this statement right here (that a

woman can fulfill her needs by giving to her husband), this is, at a minimum, a

deception and at worst, it's an outright lie. Unless your need is to give

sacrificially to others, you are never going to fulfill your needs by giving.

It's a gift that you give away.

Otherwise it's a down payment, it's a manipulation.

You can do your part in a marriage and there is absolutely no guarantee that

your spouse will do his or her part. So this is just a falsehood right

here off the bat. Now, but let's get back to this question, "Is this honoring God or

is this honoring man?" Well, where my mind went to answer that question was

Philippians chapter 2 verses 5 through 9 and here's what it says, "You should have

the same attitude towards one another as Christ Jesus had, who though he existed

in the form of God did not regard equality with God as something to be

grasped, but he emptied himself by taking on the form of a slave, by looking like

other men, and by sharing in human nature. He humbled himself by becoming obedient

to the point of death -- even death on a cross! AS A RESULT God highly exalted

him and gave him the name that is above every name." So there are two things that

jump out at me in this passage that is lacking from this intro here. Number one

is that God Himself, although He is The Creator and is entitled to unconditional

respect just by virtue of who He is, does not grasp at that. And in fact, even

though He does not have any need whatsoever to earn our respect, that is

exactly what He did He clothed Himself in humiliation. He died in humiliation so

that He earned, He absolutely earned our respect. And it's so fascinating to me

that the Word of God says "as a result" of all of this sacrifice and humiliation

and not grasping at authority and respect that Jesus exhibited, THAT is why

God exalted his name above every name. It's not because "I'm God and you do what

I say." It's because of what He did for us and we should be an absolute awe and He

deserves to have His name exalted because of what He's done. So

this, to me, shows that Jesus Himself earned respect. Now let's contrast that

with what's taught in this book here is chapter one. And this first chapter, it's

called The Simple Secret To A Better Marriage and this is the subsection I'm

reading is entitled Respect -- Unique Feature Of This Book. Which honestly, if I

was a publisher, that's fantastic that you have a unique feature because we can

copyright that. We can promote that and capitalize on that. But is that God

honoring or is that man honoring? Here's what his book says quote, "Many books on

marriage stress the need for husbands to love wives, but the unique feature

about this book is the concept of wives showing unconditional respect towards

husbands. My theory my theory is simple, but it is so powerful that I decided to

leave the pastor it in 1999 and begin sharing these truths about love and

respect full time." Now here is another interesting thing that really caught my

eye when I was looking at this book, or not what I was looking at this book, but

when I was critically analyzing this book, this author unashamedly announces

that he stopped preaching the message of the gospel and the good news of

salvation . . . eternal life and salvation in Jesus Christ. He stopped

preaching that message to deliver a message of unconditional respect, the

"unique feature of this book." Now here's what's so significant about that is if

you turn to first Timothy chapter 4, here's what it says in verse 1 and 2 it

says, "Now the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will desert the

faith and occupy themselves with deceiving spirits and demonic teachings,

influenced by the hypocrisy of liars whose consciences are seared."

Now the context of this passage is teaching of asceticism and/or

self-denial & punishment as well as legalism; which quite frankly, is not a

different preaching from the message of unconditional respect which is duty and

honor and respect and even (you know) my marriage I had my husband deceptively

sinning and yet we were doing some work arounds in our marriage counseling

sessions to contrive artificial respect for my husband because of the influence

of this demonic teaching. Where Jesus Himself earned our respect, yet my sinful

husband, we are to fluff up his pillows and make him feel respected and honored

even when he is sinning against me because that is what his primary need is

and that's what's most important. Which does not sound God, like this thinking is

God honoring and how to give respect to our Heavenly Father and our Heavenly

Spouse, if you wil,l which is another analogy God uses of Himself.

It is honoring to man. So that is really what I just wanted to cover

today. I have a lot more to say about this book and if you would like to

hear it, (you know) definitely let me know. But that kind of concludes the

information that I want to share with you answering this question, "Is Love And

Respect, or can Love And Respect Be Evil?" It absolutely can. And actually, you know

what? One other... did I bring it up here? No I didn't. But one other example to back

up this this claim that I do want to remind people of is that when the devil

was tempting Jesus, he was doing it with Scripture. So one of the big deceptions

for me is that the title of this book is referencing Ephesians 5:33. So it looked

biblical to me. It looked God honoring. But the devil and evil is not

ignorant and without the ability to deceive and it is able to disguise as

light. And I firmly believe, after really thinking it through, that this book is

teaching demonic teachings. And I'm not saying that that means that the

authors or anybody who's endorsed, sponsored or purchased or followed this

book is is evil or under the influence, or currently under the influence of evil.

But the teachings contained in this book, I believe are absolutely evil and they

are oppressive. And discerning Christians that are familiar with The

Word should be able to refute this book and not promote it. I don't understand

why it is a New York Times best seller. That is not okay with me,

and I hope it's not okay with you. Okay, so I've ranted enough. So I'm gonna go

ahead and leave it there. Tthank you all so much for your time. I really

appreciate it and I do hope that it brings encouragement to those that are

being crushed in Christian marriages and I hope it takes the blinders off of

others that are either willingly or unwillingly helping to crush others in

the Christian marriage construct. So with that, I hope to see you next week,

and God bless!

Can Twins Running For Office In Opposing Parties Support Each Other? - Duration: 5:23.

SOLEDAD: I'M SOLEDAD O'BRIEN. WELCOME TO MATTER OF FACT.

PARTISAN IDENTIFICATION IS NOW A BIGGER WEDGE BETWEEN AMERICANS THAN RACE, GENDER, RELIGION, OR EDUCATION.

AFTER PRESIDENT TRUMP WAS ELECTED, NEARLY 40% OF AMERICANS REPORTED HAVING POLITICAL ARGUMENTS WITH FAMIL MEMBERS -- THAT IS UP 6% FROM BEFORE THE ELECTION ACCORDING TO

A POLL.

NOW IMAGINE WHAT COULD HAPPEN WHEN SIBLINGS AREN'T JUST TALKING POLITICS FROM OPPOSITE SIDES OF THE AISLE.

THEY'RE RUNNING FOR OFFICE.

IN MICHIGAN, MONICA SPARKS, A DEMOCRAT AND JESSICA ANN TYSON, A REPUBLICAN, ARE BOTH RUNNING FOR SEATS ON THE KENT COUNTY COMMISSION.

AND THEY'RE NOT JUST SISTERS.

THEY ARE TWINS.

WELCOME, LADIES.

MONICA, THE DEMOCRAT, WE PUT YOU ON THE LEFT OF ME.

JESSICA ANN, WE PUT YOU ON THE RIGHT AS A REPUBLICAN.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR OUTFITS.

VERY HELPFUL TO EVERYONE TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHO'S WHO SINCE YOU ARE IDENTICAL TWINS.

YOU EACH TAKE A LITTLE BIT OF A DIFFERENT TACT IN YOUR BIOS.

MONICA: THE THING THAT IS THE SAME IS THAT WE'RE BOTH SERVANT LEADERS.

BUT THE ACTIONS ARE DIFFERENT.

I'M A PLANNING COMMISSIONER.

CURRENTLY FOUR YEARS ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS A REAL ESTATE BROKER.

VERY COMMUNITY ORIENTED AND THAT'S WHAT YOU'RE GOING TO GET FROM M BUT SHE IS TOTALLY ANOTHER PERSON.

SOLEDAD: AND SOMETIMES PEOPLE DO THINK TWINS ARE THE SAME PERSO I HAVE A SET OF TWINS, SO I KNOW THIS TO BE TRUE.

IN YOUR BIO, YOU TALK ABOUT BEING A WIFE AND MOTHER.

JESSICA ANN: I'M A WIFE, A MOTHER, A BUSINESS OWNER, AND I LOVE COMMUNITY SERVICE AS WELL AS MY SISTER.

SOLEDAD: HOW DO YOUR POLITICS DIFFER?

MONICA: THERE'S THE SHOT FIRED.

SO I AM A PROUD DEMOCRAT.

I LOVE SAYING THAT I STAND WIT THE PARTY OF LBJ, JFK, MLK, CIVIL RIGHTS, AND LIBERTY FOR ALL.

BUT SHE'S GOING TO TELL YOU THE SAME THING.

JESSICA ANN: ABSOLUTELY I AM.

OUR PARENTS RAISED US TO BE PRO- CONSTITUTION.

WE LOVE OUR COUNTRY.

TOGETHER I WOULD SAY THAT WE LOVE OUR COUNTRY.

SOME THINGS THAT ARE HAPPENING, WE BOTH AGREE, AREN'T THE WAY WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE THINGS, BUT WE BELIEVE IN AMERICA.

WE BELIEVE THAT IT IS THE GREATEST COUNTRY ON THE PLANET.

SO WE ARE VERY PRO USA.

SOLEDAD: AND WHERE DO YOUR POLITICS DIFFER?

BY THE WAY, GREAT POLITICAL ANSWER, THAT EVERYBODY ANSWERED, BUT DIDN'T ANSWER MY QUESTION.

YOU GUYS ARE GOING ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP.

[LAUGHTER] SOLEDAD: ANSWER THE QUESTION YOU WANT TO ANSWER.

IGNORE THE ONE THE INTERVIEWER GIVES YOU.

BUT TRULY TELL ME WHAT YOU DISAGREE WITH ON YOUR SISTERS PLATFORM.

MONICA: I HAVE TO SAY IMMEDIATELY THE TOP.

I'M NOT AGREEING WITH PRESIDENT TRUMP WHO IS NOT VERY PRESIDENTIAL.

I DON'T LIKE THE POLICIES.

I DON'T LIKE THE WAY THAT HE IS SEPARATING AND DIVIDING FAMILIES, INDIVIDUALS.

JESSICA ANN: THE DEMOCRAT PART THEY, I BELIEVE, WANT TO HAND PEOPLE EXACTLY WHAT THEY WANT THEM TO HAVE.

I BELIEVE THAT THERE'S NOT ALWAYS ROOM IN THAT PARTY FOR PEOPLE TO BE THEIR OWN INDIVIDUALISTIC SELVES.

SOLEDAD: WHEN YOUR SISTER CRITICIZES PRESIDENT TRUMP THERE'S NOT A LOT OF BLACK REPUBLICANS PERCENTAGEWISE IN THE COUNTRY.

IS THAT A PROBLEMATIC CRITICISM FOR YOU?

JESSICA ANN: IT'S FAIR.

IT'S A FAIR CRITICISM.

I WANT TO SAY THIS THAT I BELIEVE THAT AS A REPUBLICAN AS A REPUBLICAN I'M PROUD OF MY PARTY.

I'M NOT ALWAYS PROUD OF ALL OF THE THINGS THAT WE DON'T DO.

BUT I DO SUPPORT PRESIDENT TRUMP'S POLICIES.

THERE ARE SOME GREAT ADVANTAGES THAT WE HAVE AS HIM BEING OUR PRESIDENT.

SOLEDAD: ARE YOU GOING TO VOTE FOR YOUR SISTER'S OPPOSITION?

JESSICA ANN: I DON'T HAVE TO VOTE FOR HER OPPONENT BECAUSE SHE'S NOT IN MY DISTRICT.

SOLEDAD: WOULD YOU RUN AROUND AND TELL ALL YOUR FRIENDS WHO ARE IN HER DISTRICT, VOTE FOR THE DEMOCRAT?

MONICA: YOU KNOW, YOU ARE ROUGH.

YOU WANT ME TO BE VERY HONEST WITH YOU.

SOLEDAD: YOU ARE BOTH GOING TO THE PRESIDENT ONE DAY.

I LIKE THIS, DODGE THE QUESTION.

WHILE YOU ARE HAVING YOUR SIP, SAME QUESTION FOR YOU.

IF YOU HAVE A FRIEND IN YOUR SISTERS DISTRICT, WOULDN'T YOU FEEL LIKE YOU HAVE TO SAY, I'M TRYING TO FURTHER THE AGENDA OF THE REPUBLICAN PARTY?

JESSICA ANN: I LOVE THAT QUESTION.

FOR ME IT'S A LITTLE BIT DIFFERENT BECAUSE I SERVE THE PARTY.

I ACTUALLY HELP SELECT THE PERSON THAT'S GOING TO RUN AGAINST MY SISTER.

MONICA: AT THE LAST EVENT SHE BOUGHT OVER THE STICKERS FOR MY OPPONENT AND WAS STICKING IT ON THE CHILDREN RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME.

SOLEDAD: SO THE ANSWER IS YES?

RESOUNDING YES.

SOLEDAD: WHAT HAPPENS IF ONE OF YOU LOSES?

MONICA: WELL THAT WON'T BE ME.

I'M NOT RUNNING TO LOSE.

JESSICA ANN: I'M NOT RUNNING TO LOSE.

MONICA: WE ARE GOING WITH THE BLUE WAVE.

JESSICA ANN: IT IS A RED tsunami

good luck to you both. thank you so much.

A $325 Smart Home Security System You Can Install Yourself - Part 1 - The Components You Need - Duration: 10:46.

Hello everyone. Thanks for tuning in again. I'm going to start a brand new

series here on Automate Your Life and it's intention is to solve real-world

problems with smart home or home automation technology. Now what we're

going to do today is I'm going to start a three-part series called the $325

smart home security system and this is going to give you the opportunity to

create your own home security system using smart home technology, and of

course you're not going to have to pay any of those home monitoring fees that

you see on TV, and in the commercials. So today's video is what I'm going to tell

you you're going to want to buy for this $325

home security system. This is just the components, part two I'll show you how to

actually get those all installed in your home, and then part three is an optional

piece that I'm going to show you to save a little money. It's a little harder to

set up but ultimately I think it's worth it because it will save you a lot of

money, so let's get going. Alright so now for me when we talk about a home

security system, I'm thinking about three different components. The first being

obviously we don't want anyone who's not supposed to be in our home to be in our

home, so kind of the the actual security side. You want to know if someone's here

and you want to be able to phone the police. Now second to that is leak or

flood detection. Water damage does a lot of damage to a lot of homes now, and I

think if you've been paying attention to your insurance policies, they're not

always fully covering you in all of those situations. The other thing is of

course fire detection, fire or smoke detection, and that's actually probably

the hardest piece in the smart home sector to find, kind of a cost reasonable

solution actually. So those are the three things that I'm going to be solving for

you here today. Now the first component is the hub and

the hub is really important because most of the sensors that you're going to use

in this are ZigBee protocol, and ZigBee is kind of the protocol that has won out

here at this point in terms of sensor technology. We've seen z-wave as well,

that's a great protocol as well, this hub, and I have one in my home it does

incredible things when it comes to home automation. One of the other things that

it does so well is it actually monitors both leaks and the security system in

your home. It becomes an in-home security system and that's base features here

from the Samsung Smartthings System. So that's a $90 USD hub for you this is

probably the simplest thing to install in your home. So that device is a Samsung

Smartthings Water Sensor or water leak sensor. Now the water leak

sensor is a $25 piece from Samsung, if you were to need multiple usually from

Samsung what you can do, you can either wait for a sale or you can go

ahead and you can buy in multiples of 3 or 5. They sell them for cheaper at that

point, but for most people if you're in your furnace room or your room with your

hot water tank, that's where you're going to need this sensor. What I've seen over

the last six months in my home, I've had one of these and it has been nothing

short of perfect. I have had one minor leak while that was here, and it did

alert me to that. The other thing is I've tested it multiple times and I haven't

had to change a battery in it, and you would think with so much monitoring

going on, that you you would have to do that. So the next thing I'm buying in

this system is to cover what's normally the two main doors in everybody's

household. So you're usually going to have a front door and a back door and

those are obviously easy entry points for people to come in,

and so what I'm going to buy is the Samsung Smartthings multi-purpose sensor,

and I'm gonna buy two of these, and you can see, hopefully you can see, the two

sensor or the two pieces of this sensor. They essentially work together in terms

of an electromagnetic signal, basically if they're close together, then

Samsung knows that the door is closed, and if they're split apart then Samsung

knows that the door is open. Now funny little piece here, these actually work on

your garage door if you'd like, and lots of people have been using them for those

as well. Now in general people have a few more places that are considered entry

points for people into their homes, and I kind of think about lower level

screened windows, where somebody could break the screen out and then maybe take

the window itself out. So what I'm going to recommend there is two more of a

Samsung Smartthings device. It's a motion sensor and these are $25 USD apiece, and

they work anywhere from about the zero to the fifteen foot range in terms of

distance, so you actually point these motion sensors towards the entry points

in your home, a couple of the windows kind of off to the side, you don't want

them looking out the actual window, cause they'll pick up motion and changes in

light outside, but they are very good inside the home at picking up motion

when people are that 0 to 15 feet range away. So overall when you look at it, this

gives you four points within your home that you're able to monitor, that you

know are easy entry points for people into your home. So now with all of those

devices purchased from Samsung, you're gonna go out and you're just gonna buy

those just from, Samsung and as I said earlier, with most of those detectors if

you needed another one, you would be buying a 3-pack and the price per device

goes down with Samsung. So that's a deal I've seen almost

always there with Samsung. Now after we purchased all of those things what we

have left is $120 and that leaves us enough to

purchase a Nest smoke and CO protect smart home monitoring sensor. So this is

going to protect you from fire, and of course carbon monoxide, which is a big

killer now in the United States and Canad,a and around the world. So it's a

really important component to your smart home and it gives you the opportunity to

sense those things when you are either at home or away, and you're going to get

notifications both on your phone or a tablet and also of course the audible

alarm in your home, which is very important if you're in the home and

we're talking about smoke or carbon monoxide. One little option here that

I'm going to give you, and this is something we're going to explore in the

last part of this series, and what this option is, it's called WyzeCam 2. Now

the WyzeCam 2 is a small camera device. I'm going to give you one little option

here that allows you to remove some of the cost and complexity from the system

it's not a perfect solution, but for a lot of people this will save them a lot

of money, and so people are gonna take that right now. What this is is the WyzeCam 2

and this is the device here. This is all you get when you buy one of these.

It's a$20 USD camera that you can purchase, and it's a smart

home camera. It has the capability of doing three very important things. It's

capable of motion detection and sound detection when you're away from your

home. Now on top of that it can also listen for different types of alarms, so

it can listen, and specifically in the settings for this little camera, is a

carbon monoxide sound or alarm detection function in a smoke alarm detection

function. So it uses those standard sounds that you're going to get from

your regular home monitors, and it will send you those

notifications. Now what I'll tell you is that this device then can replace a

number of the components that we've been talking about today, so it could replace

potentially the Samsung Smartthings motion sensors, which is $50 worth of

equipment here and it could potentially replace the Nest Protect CO and smoke

alarm that we just talked about. Now that would give you a savings of $170

for a $20 camera. I'd say you're probably going to need a

couple of those just to make sure that you're covered throughout your home, but

ultimately this could replace it. What I'm going to tell you about this little

device is it is imperfect, and you will have to do a little bit of extra setup,

and a little bit of extra work. So come part three in this series, you're going

to have to decide whether or not you want to head down that path. All right

there you go guys, those are all the different components, you can go ahead

and look them all up. There's links all down below to all of the devices that I

recommended today. You can go ahead, research all those items and stay tuned

for the next couple of parts in the series. So part two I'm going to show you

how to set up the most complicated components of the system, so that's going

to be the Samsung Smartthings, that's a large security system, and I'm

going to show you how to, right from the box, set those up get them working in

your home, and get you set up with both a home security system and a leak system.

So that's part 2 of this series, the third part is going to be what I just

talked to you about in terms of the WyzeCam 2, so I'm going to show you that

option and how it can go ahead and replace all those different components

to that security system, and become a very key and critical piece just for

that $20. So there you go guys. We'll see you next time in part 2. Thanks

for watching.

All You Can Eat Japanese Beef Shabu Shabu in Tokyo! Onyasai, Shinjuku | MerRyan Tokyo Guide - Duration: 4:31.

Konbanwa! MerRyan is in Tokyo, Japan. MerRyan is hungry hungry. Today

MerRyan will bring you to enjoy Japan's shabu shabu, which is cooking meat in

boiling soup, and the best thing is in this restaurant, you can eat as much as

you want: all-you-can-eat buffet! We will go and

visit a popular all you can eat shabu-shabu restaurant. Ikimasho!

This restaurant is called Onyasai. It is very popular

Although the restaurant can seat up to 132 people, MerRyan went at 7:30 and

couldn't get a sitting. When we returned at 8:00 p.m, the restaurant was bustling as ever.

Looks like everyone is enjoying their meal! They have different choices of the

all-you-can-eat buffet. The prices differ depend on the choice

of the meat. Being in Japan, we definitely went for the Japanese beef

all-you-can-eat course. The marbling on the beef is so beautiful. Can't wait to

try it! There's also a choice of soup base to cook your meat in. You can choose

two types of soup. We chose the beef dashi (seaweed) and the special chicken soup. Yummy! I'm

talking too much. Let's start eating! The Japanese beef comes with a special label

to certify that it is Japanese beef. You can certainly see the well-defined

marbling on the beef. Cooking the beef is simple: just brush it in the soup for a

few seconds and take it out when you feel that it is cooked the way you want.

But of course you can leave it longer if you want your beef to be more cooked. You

can eat the beef on its own but MerRyan prefers to dip it in sesame sauce. We

also ordered normal beef for comparison. As you can see, the normal beef is much

more lean. Ordering more beef is simple and painless: just click on a panel on a

table to order more. There are so many cuts of beef to choose from. Besides beef,

don't forget to order vegetables too! Onyasai is also famous for special tsumire

meatballs. It comes in a bamboo pole and cooked in a special way like that. Split it into

small portions then drop it in the soup. Then you wait till it's cooked and then

you can eat it. Oishii ne! If you need some carbo, we

will recommend to order the special Ippudo ramen noodles to fill yourself up. The

buffet also come with drinks, which you can order as much as you want. We

recommend the calpis. Don't forget to order desserts to end the meal with a

sweet taste in your mouth. There's so many types to choose from.

Nothing like ice cream and mango pudding to cool your mouth after all that steam

boat food. Take note that the buffet is time limited, and you have two hours to

eat as much as you want. It is more than enough time though, and the remaining

time is flashed on a computer screen, so you are reminded easily. Take your time

It's a lot of time. There are many Onyasai outlets throughout Tokyo, and

we went to the one at Shinjuku. It's definitely a highly recommended

experience and remember to come very very hungry.

After the meal, you can go shopping at Shinjuku, and Shinjuku closes very late

so there are many many things to do. Please like this video and remember to

subscribe to my channel and Instagram for updates. Mata ne!

Can Foreigners hug Japanese? How FAR Japanese girls and boys go when greeting a foreigner - Duration: 11:24.

Are you ready? .... Long time no see!!!

How I liked it? It felt good.

Hey guys, big hugs out to you. This time we're gonna go and ask Japanese people...

Hug - Shake hands - Kiss - How far can they go when greeting a foreigner who is not from their culture?

Let's find out how far Japanese people will be able to greet you if you come to Japan. Let's ask Japanese.

How would you greet a foreigner? Shake hands, hug or kiss?

You can go as far as a hug?

You can do that?!

only hugs!

So the hugging culture... do you hug your friends in Japan?

I don't...

When I have won a tournament, then we hug.

What type of tournament?

With my sports club. When we win.

What sports did you do? - Basketball.

You see that in soccer and basketball. - Yes it's ok.

Can you hug a foreigner who you have never met before?

Well....

I would be reluctant... but I could do it.

But I would not try to hug the person on my own accounts.

Can you hug a stranger?

That might be difficult for me...

I wouldn't do it but if the person insinuates it... I'd be like oooh.

So if I came up to you to hug you, that would be ok?

Well well... - If you desired it.

Shall we give that a try? - You try it. -Why me?

Give me your honest reaction. Are you ready?

Hey long time no seeee.....

You're ok? How was that?

Yeah... it was ok.

Wasn't that bad right?

It was normal.

Normal?!

Hey long time no seeeeee.... How was that?

Well... hugs do break the ice.

Yeah we feel like we have become closer.

I feel the same. I feel closer to you guys now. Thanks for accepting my hug. Made me happy.

Thank you.

So you can hug? - Hug is my limit. I can't kiss strangers.

Why so?

What? Why? It's....

I can't deal with people's fluids.

When people kiss for greetings, it's generally a peck on the cheek.

I can't have people touch my face in any way.

It's easier to hug a friend. But we would not kiss.

So if it's a person I don't know, a hug is the limit.

Is there not much kissing in Japan then?

We don't kiss people unless they are our partners.

Can you hug your friends, male and female?

That I can do. - Yeah.

Can you hug people you've met for the first time?

I can. - Yeah. - I can.

Do Japanese people hug when they meet? - Generally not.

We also don't shake hands.

Do you hug good friends in Japan? - We totally do.

We do that. - Depends on the friendship.

So a stranger like me, could you hug me? - Totally.

Would that be ok?

Oh what shall I do? What shall I do?

I'm so happy right now.

I am suddenly super happy. Thank you.

How was hugging a foreigner like just now?

How I liked it? It felt good.

- Makes someone feel happy. - Feels like we shared something there.

Can you hug a foreigner? - I can.

You're sure?

I don't really hug people, but if it's on accounts of the foreigner, I might be able to.

Hug a girl? a boy? - I could do both.

Have you hugged a foreigner? - I have not...

One of my friends studied abroad and came back with that culture. So I hugged her when she came.

You say she had brought that culture back. Do you not hug in Japan?

In Japan, when we do formal introductions, we shake hands.

How do you greet your friends?

We don't hug. We just say greetings verbally.

Like "Hello". - Just "Hello."

Why did you not pick the kiss?

It depends on the occasion but I prefer it when only couples do it.

Abroad, the greeting kiss is generally putting your cheeks together and kissing the air behind.

Is that still too much?

In Japan, there is no greeting where we go closer into someone's space.

That's why a kiss would be too much.

If you were suddenly kissed on the cheek by a foreigner, what would you do?

I would back away. - Like this?

You can only shake hands?

I would oppose to anything else. I am shy. I can't deal well with strangers.

Do you shake hands with your Japanese friends?

We don't do that in Japan.

Can you hug your Japanese friends?

Welll... I could.

If you're very close. - Yeah.

But you can actually hug? Why?

Because you can become better friends.

You become closer because of it.

Can you hug them even if they are male or female? - I can.

But?

There might be some people who feel a bit reluctant.

If someone said "Let's hug" They might put their guard up.

Cause they feel they can't run away. - That's it.

Why did you not pick the kiss?

There is a right time and place for that.

But I think that kisses are reserved for the person you're dating.

You can't even kiss them on the cheek?

People would be opposed to kissing others on the cheek.

Can girls kiss girls? - Only if it's just the cheek.

You said you're shy so kissing.... - I could never do.

You could not even kiss a female friend? - Depends on the place.

What place would be ok? - If she is my friend, the cheek would be ok.

Have you ever done that? - Never.

Have you ever kissed a friend on the cheek? - Never.

Do people not kiss much in Japanese culture. - We don't kiss much.

Even couple's don't kiss in public.

You said you can hug a foreigner. Why?

A handshake is too stiff. A hug makes you feel closer to the person.

Can you do that to people you met for the first time? - I think I can.

Girls and boys? - Doesn't matter. I can hug both.

So even a boy you met for the first time? - A brief hug.

You said you can kiss foreigners. Abroad we generally only kiss on the cheek.

Why can you go that far?

The reason? I don't care so much about it.

So it's just ok. - I am ok with it.

Have you ever kissed a foreigner on the cheek? - Never.

Have you ever hugged a foreigner? - Never.

Do you hug or kiss in Japan?

As a greeting? We would only hug.

I don't think we'd kiss.

Do you hug a lot, or only people you are close friends with?

Girls hug each other a lot.

But we don't hug men.

Those were our questions. Thank you.

Shake hands, hug, kiss. How far can a Japanese person go when greeting a foreigner?

Surprisingly, a lot of Japanese people said YES HUGS are OK!

Because Japanese people started hugging their friends. Maybe not as often

but it's accepted that it's part of a different culture that you greet your friends

or people that you feel close to by hugging them.

To be honest, I have a personal experience there. When I went to a Highschool in Japan...

I tried hugging one of my shyest friends in high-school. And he... ran away...

cause he was so surprised. I am sorry.

But then he gradually got used to my culture and he now lets me hug him, which is good.

That's one of the things. When I went to France, same thing the other way around...

One of the friends of my friends came up to me and gave me a kiss on the right and left cheek...

the kind of French greeting kiss and I froze for a moment and I was just like...

"What just happened?"

So it is a cultural difference. How far can you go when you greet a friend or someone

who is new to you? Can you hug people who are totally strangers on the first greeting?

Or can you not do that? How is it for kissing? Do people kiss in your country or not?

How Big Can Hurricanes Get? - Duration: 5:04.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Florence, the east coast of the united states is devastated.

At least 36 people were killed by the hurricane.

Rivers continue to rise in south caroline and will continue for the rest of the week.

At the time of this recording, residents are still not allowed to return to their homes.

And the scary thing is, Hurricane Florence was a category 1 hurricane, the scale goes

up to 5.

It was categorized to the least severe.

It makes you wonder, how big can hurricanes actually get?

Hello and welcome back to Life's Biggest Questions, the channel that asks the fundamental

questions of life.

The question we are asking today is, how big can hurricanes get.

I'm your host, = Charlotte Dobre.

This is where I kindly ask you to smash the thumbs up, subscribe and notification bell

and ask us a question in the comments below.

On this channel, we post one to two topics a day, so I should also say that we may have

already posted a video on a topic that you have suggested.

And If you want to connect with the creative team behind life's biggest questions, the

links to our social media accounts are posted in the description.

Hurricanes are massive storms that can cover up to 600 miles across.

Hurricane winds are extremely strong, and they spiral inward toward the center of the

storm.

Hurricanes can last more than a week, moving at a slow speed of only 10 to 20 miles per

hour.

There's a reason why most hurricanes occur in the fall.

They start over warmer waters of 80 degrees farenheit or more.

As you go further up into the air, the surrounding air gets cooler.

When winds blow in the same direction with the same speed, it forces the air upward.

The wind from hurricanes is actually kinetic energy, that's dissipated due to surface

friction.

The Saffir Simpson hurricane scale says that the biggest hurricanes are a category 5, there

is no category 6, even if the hurricane is far more powerful than another hurricane classified

as a category 5 storm.

Once a storm reaches category 5, all you need to know is, its really really bad.

So bad that it can cause irreversible damage to trees, building and electricity supplies.

Hurricanes are categorized by wind and pressure--The higher the wind speed and the lower the pressure,

the more powerful the hurricane.

Wind is usually the determining factor when classifying hurricanes.

The scale begins with category 1 hurricanes, where winds range from 74 to 95 miles per

hour or 119 kilomters per hour to 153 kilometers per hour.

Category 3 storms have winds of 178 to 208 kilometers per hour.

Category 3 hurricanes and up are considered to be the most severe.

In comparison a category 5 storm has winds of 156 miles per hour or anything stronger

than that.

Category 5 storms are known to cause catastrophic damage, and the area that they hit will be

uninhabitable for anywhere from weeks to months.

Category 5 storms can cause the frames of homes to be destroyed, roof failure and wall

collapse.

Power outages could last for months.

And lets not forget about storm surges, arguably the most dangerous aspect of hurricanes: Storm

surges.

A storm surge is the name attributed to the rising water of low pressure weather systems

like hurricanes.

Most of the casualties that happen during a hurricane are a result of storm surges.

So what was the most powerful hurricane?

Easy, that's miss Irma of 2017.

Hurricane Irma was one of the most powerful storms on record for the atlantic basin.

Irma was a category 5 storm, peak winds hit 185 miles per hour or 298 kilometers per hour.

Irma was the most powerful atlantic hurricane ever recorded, and some people believed that

it should have been classified as a category 6 hurricane.

If there were a category 6, the winds would be as fast as 196 miles per hour.

There has already been a hurricane that was stronger than most category 5 storms.

Typhoon nancy in the northwest pacific ocean apparently had maximum sustained winds of

215 miles per hour or 346 kilometers per hour.

I bet you're hearing that and thinking, but lifes biggest questions, a typhoon is

not a hurricane if its in a different part of the world.

Shush you.

A typhoon is the same thing as a hurricane, its just in a different area of the globe.

Experts say that theres no need for a category 6 storm for the reason that once you hit catastrophic

damage, it cant get any worse.

Or can it?

Whats a word for worse than catastrophic?

Cataclysmic?

Yeah, I like that, cataclysmic.

A category 6 storm would be cataclysmic.

So how big could a hurricane get?

Well there might not actually be a limit.

Hurricanes gain strength through warm water.

Warm water is the gasoline that feeds the speed.

The scary thing is, we know that the world is warming substantially every year.

A warmer earth means warmer water, and warmer water means more intense hurricanes.

Some scientists predict that hurricanes will become stronger in the future, and the strongest

storms will become even more intense thanks to warmer temperatures.

According to predictions by the NOAA, hurricane intensity will increase on average by 2 to

11 percent by the end of the 21st century.

For every 1 degree of temperature increase, the speed of the winds will increase by 5

percent.

As long as the oceans are warming, there is no limit on the wind strength of a hurricane.

What does this mean for the future?

Devastating, deadly floods and damage to infrastructure.

It might mean that residents of states like florida and the Carolinas will have to move

inland to avoid being hit by hurricanes.

At a certain point, powerful hurricanes might make areas of the globe uninhabitable.

I'm charlotte dobre and you've been watching life's biggest questions, if you enjoyed

this video, why not check out the playlist clickable on the screen right now.

And make sure notifications are turned on by clicking the bell, and we will see you

Top 10 Dragon Ball Mistakes You Can't Unsee - Duration: 10:34.

The Dragon Ball series is a franchise that's easy to get nostalgic over.

Many of the kids who grew up watching Goku and the gang train, and train, and train some

more remember how epic the sayian's battles were, and likely remember how long the battles

would drag out for.

Little did most of us know, creator Akira Toriyama was writing and drawing the Dragon

Ball manga did so on a weekly basis, never wanting to plan ahead as to where the story

would go.

So by the time the show was airing, he was pressured to keep the stories coming on Weekly

Shonen Jump, which is where the manga was being published.

This is why the series often took some, well, interesting turns from time to time, and why

the show itself during certain periods would lull or explore odd territory.

The more you reflect on it, regardless of how much you may love Dragon Ball and Dragon

Ball Z, there were a lot of odd mistakes made of the years that were a product of rushing.

So today, we're taking a look at some of these instances with our list of the top 10

Dragon Mistakes you can't unsee.

10 Yajirobe and his Dragon Ball While the anime is notorious for harbouring

a ton of mistakes, inconsistencies, and animation errors, the manga is just as guilty some times.

And, to be honest, I feel like Toriyama has more leeway when it comes to making mistakes

there, since he was under so much pressure to pump out new stories.

But this one also made its way into the anime.

Remember Yajirobe?

He's a ronin who met Goku when Goku was just a boy in Dragon Ball, and managed to

continue to be a reoccurring character throughout all of the Dragon Ball series.

If that doesn't ring a bell, he's the chubby dude who loves food and has a katana

he carries around, and often a pretty brash attitude, but is also a very adequate warrior.

He carries a dragonball around on his neck, attached by a brown string.

But here's the thing; Dragon balls are supposed to be indestructible mystic objects.

So riddle me this; how the hell did Yajirobe manage to drill a hole into it and turn it

into a fashion accessory?

While you could argue that in the anime, the Dragon Ball could be attached on a clasp of

some sort, in the manga, there's clearly a hole through the top of the Dragon Ball

that attaches it to the string.

This is a mistake that some have noted Toriyama has tried to revise later on down the line,

but still, it's next to impossible to unsee that now.

9 Krillin's Height This one is pretty hilarious.

Inconsistencies and continuity errors are pretty common in the Dragon Ball Z anime,

right from the start of the show to its end.

This one, which occurred during the Saiyan Saga, can be seen in multiple episodes, and

even in the manga, too.

In various scenes, pay attention to Kirill and his height.

It constantly varies; at times, he's at Goku's shoulder level, whereas in other

scenes, like when he's in front of Raditz, he looks as if he's the height of a child.

This could be chalked up to the fact that in certain scenes like the Raditz one for

example, Raditz is meant to seem more physically imposing and threatening compared to sweet

little bald Krillin, who, despite the difference between them, has proven over the years that

he can hold his own when side by side with the universes most powerful saiyans.

It kind of makes sense that his stature would vary early on in terms of using it as a character

tool.

But considering this is a problem that fans noticed in the manga too, well, let's maybe

chop it up to Toriyama's rapid pace when pumping out Dragon Ball stories.

8 Vegeta Planet Vegeta, the home planet of the Saiyans,

was destroyed by Frieza when the villain became concerned that the Saiyans were becoming too

powerful.

But for a long time, as far as the few surviving Saiyans were concerned, the planet was destroyed

by an asteroid three years before Frieza's arrival; this is the story that Frieza spread

to keep the remaining Saiyans from turning against him.

It's also the story that Vegeta had been told as well.

So when Vegeta finds out that Frieza had been the one to destroy the planet, it's a pretty

big deal, and the reveal, while not flooring him, has him thrown off his guard.

In the Japanese anime and the original manga, when Vegeta finds out the truth, he's clearly

surprised.

But in the dubbed English version of the anime, producers decided to remove his original reaction,

instead replacing it with Vegeta stating that he knew all along, which doesn't really

match up all that well with what's on screen.

7 Capsule Corp In 2009, a revised version of Dragon Ball

Z was released, called Dragon Ball Kai.

In it, many of the previous animation errors that appeared in the show were fixed, and

it boasted remastered high definition picture, sound and special effects, and even some re-recorded

voice work by the majority of the show's original cast.

Since many of the series sketches and animation cels had been disgarded back in 1996 after

the final episode of Dragon Ball Z, creators had to produce new frames by digitally tracing

over the existing footage, and filled them in with softer colours which reduced visible

damage on the original animation.

All in all, a really smart thing to do.

But some mistakes weren't erased in Dragon Ball Kai, including this number.

During the Namek saga, there's a scene with a mistake in it in episode 11, which is episode

46 overall in Dragon Ball Z, called Defying Orders.

In it, there's a Capsule Corporation space ship that was built for Goku by Dr Brief.

When it takes lift off, you can see the Capsule Corp logo on the ship, which reads CPSULE

CORP rather than its proper spelling.

There's a slew of little details like this all throughout the show, too.

6 Cell's Regeneration In the Cell Saga, we see the villain Cell

regenerate a total of three times.

Cell, who was created by Dr Gero and came from a future timeline, was crafted to possess

all the abilities of the greatest fighters the Earth has ever seen, with the goal of

Cell being the perfect warrior.

He has Piccolo's genetic material in him, therefore he can regenerate his body parts,

just as long as his brain is intact.

But here's where things get fumbly.

In all of the times that Cell regenerates, it's only the last, an attack by Vegeta,

that doesn't obliterate his head.

Where his brain is.

Yet, in the first two regenerations we witness, Cell's head is nowhere to be seen.

When Goku attacks him and completely obliterates his upper body, Cell STILL regenerates, which

doesn't make sense if we're following the previous logic.

Even when it looks like Cell is completely destroyed, after he blows himself up, he manages

to come back thanks to a single cell still remaining.

How the hell does that work, you may wonder.

It works thanks to the suspension of disbelief friends.

And also because Cell was too good of a villain to have a short tenure on the show, obvs.

5 Krillin's Outfit Change And here we have yet another number concerning

Krillin.

So one of the most common mistakes you'll notice in Dragon Ball Z is that often, colours

will be inconsistent when it comes to outfits or backgrounds; in one shot, something might

be a lighter shade, and in the next, a darker shade.

Sometimes something can be two completely different colours.

Considering how many episodes there are within the franchise, you can see how sometimes things

would slip through the cracks.

Anywho, one of those instances happened in the Frieza saga during the big battle with

the villain.

Krillian and Gohan get some Saiyan armour from Vegeta before the fight, who explains

that the armour can expand to any size.

A little later on, Krillian and Gohan are talking before Krillin flies away.

When they're speaking, he's wearing the Saiyan armour.

When he flies away, he's wearing his orange gi.

So much for being prepared for the battle with the right threads.

4 Trunks' Warning At the beginning of the Android saga, Future

Trunks arrives and warns Goku about Androids 19 and 20; androids from the future who, along

with Dr Gero's other creations, threaten to wipe out all of humanity if not defeated.

The future is already in peril, and Goku and the gang will need to kill the androids in

their time in order to fix everything.

So what's the problem with this one?

Well, he warns Goku about 19 and 20 rather than 17 and 18.

This is a bit of a goof up because after this episode was complete, Toriyama's editor

told him that 19 and 20 just weren intimidating enough to be the main villains in the arc,

which then led to the creation of androids 17 and 18.

Trunks was then written back in, and didn't recognize the androids upon seeing them in

an attempt to get rid of 19 and 20 faster and clean things up.

3 Gohan's Dream Before Cell reaches his Perfect Form, he's

got two other stages that we witnessed in the show; Imperfect and Semi-Perfect.

Toei Animation, who were in charge of animated the show, added in a scene during the Cell

saga that took place in the Hyberbolic Time Chamber while Gohan was training.

Overall, the studio beefed up the Time Chamber scenes to further elaborate on the intensity

of his training that was initially depicted in the manga.

This included a scene in which Gohan has a nightmare about Cell.

What's wrong about it?

Well, his dream features Perfect Cell, who, at that point, Gohan hadn't seen yet.

At this point in the story, Cell had achieved his Perfect Form, but the last time Gohan

saw him was in his lesser form.

So how would Gohan know that's what he looked like?

Sure you can chalk this up to Gohan having some sort of mystic experience while in the

chamber and seeing him that way, but still, doesn't quite add up in the long run.

2 Beerus and the Dinosaurs Beerus is the God of Destruction, who appeared

in the movie Dragon Ball Z Battle of Gods, and in Dragon Ball Super in the first saga

of the show, aptly named God of Destruction Beerus Saga.

Anywho, at one point, the god claims that he is the one responsible for wiping out the

dinosaurs, causing them to go extinct.

But, that doesn't really add up, considering in both the Dragon Ball anime and in Dragon

Ball Z, we see dinosaurs.

They're quite prominent in Dragon Ball, and Goku even fights some of them, and then

in Dragon Ball Z, there's a scene where a T-Rex chases after some of the shows characters,

and Gohan, during the Saiyan Saga, cuts off a dinosaur's tail for food while training.

After that saga, the dinosaurs pretty much disappear, but that still doesn't add up

cause Beerus has been sleeping for years, and was definitely in slumber during Dragon

Ball and Dragon Ball Z's earlier sagas.

Perhaps you could justify this inconsistency by arguing that maybe Beerus was responsible

for taking out the dinosaurs in another universe; he's the god of destruction of Universe

7, which is where all of the canon Dragon Ball stories take place, while his twin brother

is the god of destruction of Universe 6.

1 Frieza's Tail The big battle between Goku and Frieza is

perhaps one of the most epic and memorable events in the entire franchise.

It's the first time Goku goes Super Saiyan, and it also is a battle that milks the crap

out of the conflict, lasting the course of several episodes, despite the main characters

being capable of moving in super speed.

There's actually a theory behind that that suggests that the viewers are watching the

battle in slow motion.

Anywho, there's one detail in that battle that is hard to unsee once you take notice.

Krillian contributes to the effort against Frieza by cutting off part of his tail.

Frieza then fights Goku missing part of his tail.

But, in some shots, you can see that his missing tail didn't remain all that consistent,

and the full tail returns at times.

Is it regrowing and falling back off again?

Nah, it's just a major continuity error.

There we have it friends!

series?
