Youtube daily so Sep 22 2018

Que pasa oelewappers, welcome back to a brand new video in this video

I'm going to explain why people in the Netherlands speak English very well

We are on number two of the best english-speaking countries in Europe

Only Sweden is on top of us research states

That's 90% to 93% of the people in the Netherlands speak English

However, speaking a language doesn't necessarily mean they speak it fluently

Of course the more time you spend in learning a language the better you speak the language

Although there are people like Louis van Gaal and they think they can speak English

But they really suck

and then we can say, ok. We have the spirit now and we go

looking at

Upstairs and not downstairs. I went to an elementary school for children with special needs

So I never actually learned English there, but when I went to high school, I learned my first words in English

It was quite hard because English was my first new language

I never learned a different language before and learning English

From a non English country is a very big step

You literally start at level zero like a baby and because I came from a special-needs school

I had a very big backlog in comparison to my classmates. So yeah, I needed to do extra classes after school

It's not like I was forced to do it. I

Wanted to do it and believe me if I tell you that learning a second language is the hardest thing ever

First of all, the pronunciation of the words were very hard

We were forced to speak English with a British accent and believe me if I tell you that I really suck at British English

I speak American English because the words are way easier to pronounce pronouncing

The words was hard in the beginning, but when I got the grip on it

It was quite easy and I was ready to make sentences now

This is the second thing that is very hard when learning a new language

For the first time the grammar

What I wasn't aware of is that when you learn a new language, you can't use the grammar of your own language, for example

The sentence I'm getting late for school in Dutch

It would be ik kom te laat op school when you literally translate it from Dutch

It would mean I come too late on school

It was hard for me to get through the process of changing the words and putting them in a different order to make it sound

Right it took me about six months to get a grip on it

and in my first year of learning English

I learned how the English language works and how to make sentences using good grammar

But here comes the thing it took me seven years to speak English fluently and to make my accent sound normal

There is a very logical reason for that. No joke at all. I'm not very smart

I went to a special needs school for a reason. I did an IQ test when I was 14 and I

Really pushed myself to the limit. But yeah

my IQ is still

75 I am able to learn stuff but it takes way more time than for other people from my age back then I was watching

This youtube channel called Smosh and they had really funny YouTube videos

They had like 2 million subscribers

Back then and back then YouTube wasn't really a big thing in the Netherlands and the Dutch

Youtubers who were active by the time didn't even reach

100,000 subscribers simply because the target audience wasn't big enough and even nowadays most of the youtubers don't even reach

500,000 subscribers

Simply because this country only contains 17 million people

So the reason why I pushed myself to speak English was because I wanted to be a youtuber for the english-speaking

Audience and I'm not trying to be a show-off, but from where I've been through I make very big progress now

How did I work on my vocabulary in those seven years the anime community

might get triggered by this one, but I've been watching Naruto in English dubbed. season 1 of Naruto has I guess

220 episodes. I mean from what I can remember and I stopped watching Naruto at season 2 episode

170 or I don't know and back then I was also on this website called chat roulette

Which is omegle at this moment on that website, you can talk to random people from all the world

So I worked on my English pronunciation

With actual English people. Sometimes they were laughing about a mistake

Sometimes they got angry, but the thing is that I've learned from my mistakes. And yeah, that's what it's all about

For example, I was talking about Russia and I accidentally said Soviet onion instead of Soviet Union. And yeah

They were laughing at me. back then I was also on this website called memecenter.com

You see the Instagram anime community is filled with suicidal teenagers and Yaoi fangirls

That is not the anime community that I want to interact with on the other side memecenter has an anime community

That is between 20 years old and 35

That is the anime community that I want to join MemeCenter has the best anime community of all and they give really good recommendations

But that is not what this video is about

The point is that because I was texting with these people for such a long time

I also worked on my spelling every time I made a grammatical or a spelling mistake

They corrected me and I said thank you. This is why I hate interacting with teenagers on Instagram

They use bad spelling on purpose and they use this lazy people language called

Internet slang now that is not going to help anybody speak English

I worked on my vocabulary by watching English movies with English subtitles

And it really helped me a few recommendations for beginners are spider-man Harry Potter and the Lord of the Rings

I also played a large amount of video games in English with English subtitles. I started off with a Harry Potter games

And yes, I really recommend those games for beginners

The reason why I recommend them is because they speak English very slowly and very understandable

You ready to do a bit of de-gnoming then Harry. Well, I'm not sure long. I've been with dursleys so much this summer

I'm a little rusty another video game where they speak very slowly and understandable is Grand Theft Auto 4

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood was also very easy to understand as a beginner

Assassin, God will see you pay for your crimes you

have desecrated the sanctity of this holy place you condemn what you do not understand

and I worked on my spelling and vocabulary

With The Legend of Zelda and the Pokemon games for the Nintendo DS now

What is the main factor that makes English easy in the Netherlands in comparison to other countries when you live in Germany

Everything is translated into German when you live in France

Everything is translated into French when you live in Spain

Everything is translated into Spanish when you live in Italy

Everything is translated into Italian when you already have everything in your own language

There is no needs to learn a new language

But here comes the thing when you live in the Netherlands people prefer everything

In the original language sometimes with subtitles in Dutch

But most of the time with no translation at all and don't even start about voice translation

Dutch people hate it and because there are so many

Movies books and music coming from the United States and the United Kingdom people in the Netherlands

learn how to speak English

Very fast and the fact that so many people around you

already speak the language very well makes it even easier for you to learn the language because people around you can give you tips and

That was the video for today. I hope you enjoyed it

If you did, don't forget to like this video and subscribe to my youtube channel, I would really appreciate it

Have a very nice day. Stay appelflap and eat some Soviet onions

Back from being gone, they still fear me. I'm Rico from the DHC on my 180CC

*vroom* *vroom* through your street like a road pirate, I'm ready for every crime because

that joint mixed with teqilla is making me feel good, crazy criminal in the hood

dressed up in black and covered up in a balaclava so I'm ready for the heist

Why Is Video Marketing So Effective For Business Growth - Duration: 5:05.

Lots of people are saying that Video

Marketing is the way to go.

But for most people doing video

marketing means that you have to put yourself

in front of the camera by a lot

of equipment and spend a lot of time

on it.

So is it worth the work.

How effective is Video

Marketing in this video.

I am going to tell you the thing you need to

know. As a business owner about

video marketing

and its effectiveness LET'S

GO.

HEY EVERYBODY. This is Antoine Dupont

and welcome to another video.

If you're new here

and you're looking for best practices

on how to grow your business

with sales and marketing tips then please

make sure to Like

and Share this video.

So first what are the benefits

of video marketing for you as

a business owner.

I have four of them.

The first one it's going to help

build your brand.

The second one it's going

to build trust

with your audience.

The third one is it will engage

your customers out there.

And the fourth one as it serves

as an amazing lead generator

for people looking for your products

and services.

So beyond the actual statistics

and research I'm going to show

you the things that prove

that Video Marketing is highly

effective. Now let's start

with the hard facts.

As of right now videos

represent 70 percent

of the demand for Internet

content by users out

there. That is staggering

70 percent

and it's not slowing down.

They're anticipating that by 2019

which is next year.

This video is in 2018.

That 8 percent of

all the Internet user traffic

is going to be videos

but that doesn't say anything about

the marketing value itself.

So here is why it's great

for marketing more than half

of all marketers are saying

that Video Marketing is

producing a much better return

on investment than any other

forms of media social media

videos are producing.

Twelve hundred percent more

shares than pictures

and text combined.

That's 12 times more traffic.

So let's say as a business owner you have the choice

to post a picture

or an article

or a small video

and the video by itself is going to be released

12 times more reach more

engagement.

Which one are you going to choose.

Yeah video.

No doubt.

Another statistic that's actually amazing

shows that a video

a single video on a landing

page or a Web site

will increase conversion by 80

percent. Now 80 percent is

enough to get my attention

or not are amazing benefit

is a video on a

landing page will increase the

amount of time that you visit

or will spend on your web page.

So everything being equal

your landing page

with a video

or your competition's landing

page without a video they're going

to stay two

and a half times more time

on yours.

And that is a signal that Google

long.

So having a video on

the landing page is absolutely

amazing for as CEO

now. I hope this video

convinced you that video

marketing is probably something

you want to take a closer look at

for your business

and start doing videos

now before your competition

does. Remember those three things

that demand for video is

growing exponentially.

80 percent of all traffic in

2019 will

be video content.

The second thing is videos

and social media on

average produce 12 100

percent more engagement

than a regular post

or an article.

And the third thing is a video

on your landing page will increase

the amount of time that people stay

on the Web site which is great for

us. I hope that this

is enough for you to get

how effective video

marketing is for your business.

And the time to get started

now.

Now the question of the day as

a business owner what is the first

video you're thinking about

doing. Put in a comment below

and lets chat

and let's see if the community can come up

with great ideas for you.

Okay so this does it for today.

If you have any questions please

make sure to put them in the comments below.

And thank you for watching this video.

But before you leave please make sure the light

the video and share it

with someone that needs to hear this video.

Thank you.

EP. 27 : I am just so moved... - Duration: 9:34.

Remember that I've participated in VANS Vision work work shop?

So I said the exhibition will be on August or September.

The time is approaching.

I'm searching for "Photomaru" that Yim Soomin has recommended to develop the film .

(Where is it…?)

Here's Photomaru!

Yes, here's Photomaru

One second.

Can I collect it today?

We have a lot of workload at the moment as we just got back from the summer holiday yesterday.

I really want to see how it'll turn out.

This is the beauty of the film camera.

You can't see the result straight away.

I get excited on the way to develop it.

I really didn't expect to see that many people.

Though I didn't prepare anything, there were few people who've brought a lot of things.

Hi!

I brought this for you!

Thank you!

Shall we hug?

Oh? (panic)

Thank you!

There was someone who came all the way from Incheon

I was so grateful.. I was so thankful, sorry,

happy and sad at the same time.

It was a very complicated feeling.

I've kept and eaten everything you gave me.

Thank you so much for those who came to see me!

If I ever get to see you again,

I'll prepare something for you

Thank you so much again.

But our exhibition was not the main of this event.

I didn't know how it was gonna get presented till that day.

I asked my subscribers where my photos are while standing in front of it.

"Where did you see my photos?"

Where's my photos…

These are the photos!

Is this it?

Yeah, that's all.

This is how the photos were presented

I was standing right in front of it.

That's how unnoticeable it was.

I was sad that it was only a small part of the event.

I felt that way, and other participants felt that way too

So I and other participants are going to hold our own small exhibition

I'm going to show you the whole process from the planning to the exhibition.

I'm so happy and excited that I will be helping them with the exhibition poster!

This is the poster option 1.

How's it?

They are the participants of our exhibition "MY HAPPY LIMBO"

How about this?

It's neat

Hi!

Can you see?

I've finally changed my hair.

Though it looks nothing special, it took such a long time.

(I can't stop touching my hair.)

My hair was in a very bad condition.

So I just had to get the treatment on the first day but nothing else.

(Let's see… )

(nervous)

Let's straighten it as much as I can as we will be cutting it off.

Let's do the treatment and straighten it in 1~2 weeks.

So I straightened it after 2~3 weeks and chopped it off.

(Tired. )

Done!

Thank you!

(They even packed the chopped hair like this.)

Oh, you got a haircut!

How long has it been…?

I think it's been 5 years since I've had my hair this short.

It feels so light. I feel like I'm going to fly

Tada~

But I wasn't sad at all to chop it off.

There's Yim Soomin photographer's solo exhibition tomorrow!

So I'm going to Paju to meet Soomin.

This place is so nice~

Like I said yesterday,

there's photographer Yim Soomin's solo exhibition.

I'm at Paju Mimesis Art Museum. I'm waiting for the docent.

The concept of this exhibition is ' Because I like the calm street'

It's similar to her new book title 'Because I like the calm ocean'

I'm gonna get her autograph today!

(Preparing for the next exhibition when I can.)

Let's go.

I know this person.

You would know this person too if you read the book

I met Soomin!

Thanks for coming all the way here!

(It was so nice to have a chat with Soomin)

It was great fun.

It's because I'm her fan but also

I felt like I was invited to her life as she presented the photos and diary together.

You can only imagine with words.

I guess that's part of the entertainment

but it was very interesting to see the actual photos of the events from her point of view.

(You can check her original film as well!)

The docent is over

and I got her autograph on the book as well.

( the letter is secret!)

Now I'm going to write on the guest book which is the most important thing according to Soomin

(Careful)

I'm about to head home now..

I trapped here because of the rain..

I think this exhibition is on from 15/09 till october!
