Jerry called in, he wanted to know what he needed to do
to get his special Mercedes-Benz stored for the winter.
So here's a few tips that I've come up with over the years
to advise some of our customers what they need to do.
Number one would be tires
I like to recommend that the tire pressure be brought up to the maximum pressure
that's mounted on the side wall, that's displayed on the side wall.
Second thing would be to fill the fuel tank with premium fuel
Thirdly, you're going to want to put a battery tender on the battery
We sell them here in our parts department
and that's going to make sure that the battery
doesn't drain over the winter.
And the last thing that you're going to want to do
is to make sure that you're going to be putting your car
to bed with some fresh oil in the engine.
You're not going to want to store your car over the winter
with used, dirty oil in the engine.
