Sharnelle: Hi I'm Sharnelle from Dilawri Group of

Companies, Canada's largest automotive

group. If you're one of those people who

are constantly turning up the bass in

the car you will be super excited to

hear about this contest we are currently running.

We are giving away a SUBPAC M2X which

is basically a wearable subwoofer.

We have Graham here from SUBPAC who's

going to tell us a little bit about

himself, the company, and how this cool

technology works.

Graham: Thanks Sharnelle. Hey guys, I'm Graham from SUBPAC. I've been working

at SUBPAC for about three years now

and SUBPAC is an audio technology

that's used to feel sound and to enhance

the media experience. Without trying it,

what I can say is that it's very

comparable to being at a concert or

being in a nightclub listening to your

favorite DJ where the sound systems are

so powerful that you feel the bass in

your chest. So we were originally a

company that was enhancing the music

experience but now the SUBPAC is used

in VR, gaming, and to watch movies so

it's really fun and it enhances all

those different types of media.

Sharnelle: That's amazing! Do you want to show us how it works?

Graham: Absolutely. Alright, this is the SUBPAC M2X

and it's worn just like a knapsack.

Now that the SUBPAC is on and Sharnelle

has her headphones on, the SUBPAC is

easily connected through Bluetooth or

through an aux cable and all you do is

hit play.

Graham, thank you so much for showing us how this

works. We are really excited for

whoever's going to win this prize. The

contest is open on Facebook, Instagram,

Twitter, and YouTube, so be sure to enter

on any of those platforms. As well, for

more information on SUBPAC be sure to

check out the description box below

where we will link out to all their

social media channels.

Shout out to everyone who's going to

enter the contest and good luck!

How Long Can a Shimano STEPS E-MTB Battery Last? | SHIMANO - Duration: 1:42.

So, how long can a Shimano STEPS E-mountainbike go without a charge?

That depends.

In our tests we found that the E8000...

...had 50 kilometers in Boost...

...75 kilometers in Trail...

...and a 100 kilometers in Eco.

The Shimano STEPS battery has a capacity of 504 Wh.

Allowing riders to venture further and longer than ever before.

Long story short...

...out on the trail battery life can vary...

...depending on mode choice, rider weight...

...and the amount of vertical climb.

So, it's up to you how to best use that power.

If your bike is Di2 equipped...

...and the battery ever gets depleted...

...Shimano STEPS reserves enough charge...

...to power your bike's electronic shifting...

...to get you home.

And remember...

...it's still a bike.

And you can ride it with no battery assistance.

Steeper...

...further...

...and faster.

The E8000 battery will help you get there...

...and home again.

MORE Things I Can't Stand (Animation) - Duration: 7:13.

Greetings!

Another one of these?

Of course!

You know how much I love complaining about stuff.

So sit down

get comfortable

and lets get angry over meaningless things!

♫ psshka psshka psshk ♫

♫ doop doop doop da doop ♫

♫ doo da da doo da doop ♫

♫ (blee blee bleep) ♫

♫ doo doo doo doo doo da doop ♫

♫ doo doo da doo doo doop ♫

I hate people who try to turn everything into a competition.

EVERYTHING.

I drew a thing for the first time!

Oh yeah?

Well I could draw that thing when I was FIVE!

I walked to the store this morning!

Oh yeah?

Well the store is even further away from me so

I have to walk TWICE as long as you!

My pet died…

Oh yeah?

Well my entire FAMILY died when I was only 2 years old

and I had to raise my newborn brother all by myself!

Y'know it's..it's kinda rude when someone's sharing an achievement or experience

and you keep trying to one-up them.

Jussayin.

I hate it when you pour yourself a bowl of cereal or make a cup of tea

and only then realise you're out of milk.

Nice.

Now I have to put this cereal back in the box.

...and spill it all everywhere because I'm too ANGRY to concentrate on

putting it back in the bag properly!

I hate how hard it is to find tasty sugar-free drinks.

As a boring adult

health is very important to me but I also

Like

wanna enjoy my life

Y'know?

Water tastes like nothing and

as much as I love Pepsi Max

I want to drink something else every once in a while.

But every time I go to the drinks section of the shop its

"Wow this has 40 grams of sugar in it"

"Wow this has 80 grams of sugar in it!"

"WOW this is…

wat?"

I HATE being a Pokemon fan.

Why?

Because.

I've been collecting the games ever since the very first ones.

Not every single game but at least one from each generation

basically.

I used to have Diamond, Pearl

Black and Black 2 as part of that collection.

Where did they go?

I don't know!

They vanished someday about 2 years ago.

I cleared out my entire belongings when I moved out of my mum's place

and still didn't find them

so they're pretty much gone forever.

Hey, that's another thing I hate

- losing things!

But, it's not a big deal right?

I can just replace them?

They're old games

if I get 'em used they shouldn't be too expensive.

msnadjnljnYEAH RIGHT.

Pokemon games are RIDICULOUSLY expensive.

These games are 12 YEARS OLD

and go for the same amount USED

as a BRAND NEW PS4 game.

And I hate buying used games

you never know how long they last and they usually

have the stickers ripped off them and their name crudely written on with a sharpie.

I also have to be careful that its a European version of the game and not a USA one

- I hate region lock!

Speaking of regions..

I hate timezones.

I just wanna talk to my friends from different countries but I can't cause one of us has

to go to sleep or work.

I hate how expensive traveling is too,

otherwise I'd just go visit them!

I hate not having anything in the fridge that I'm in the mood for

so I keep checking it every 5 minutes because I'm hungry

despite nothing changing...

I hate it when I find an awesome shirt I like

but they don't have my size.

I hate it when I find an awesome shirt I like

they have my size

but it's ridiculously expensive!

I hate it when I wanna play DS on a car ride but I forgot to charge it

I hate noisy people…

some people are just SUPER loud for NO REASON.

They'll be walking down an empty street

with no cars around or anything

but will still SHOUT at each other instead of talking normally!

There's no reason for it!

I hate people who are automatically disrespectful to everybody.

Especially when they're disrespectful to people trying to do their job.

Like, complaining to someone who works at the cash register that the supermarket doesn't

stock their favourite brand of cheese anymore

and getting REALLY angry at them.

The cashier can't even be like

"bro that's not my job can't you read you disgusting earthworm?"

'cuz they'd lose their job so they just have to be like

"oh, I'm terribly sorry ma'am

we wish the very best for our customers

so I will forward your suggestion to the manager"

knowing full well that the manager doesn't give a toss

and the customer will just keep coming back every single week until they die of old age.

I hate taps that don't work properly.

Like, you nudge it towards hot a little bit

it turns SCALDING HOT

you nudge it slightly more to cold

it's basically ice water.

I hate ordering food at a restaurant

and something seems really tasty…

but it's spicy.

Once I was at this restaurant

and I wanted this awesome sounding schnitzel pizza

but it was spicy.

But my friend said...

just get it, it's not gonna be that spicy!

He always says that.

And it's always too spicy.

I was eating it and I was sweating like crazy by the end of it

and my mouth hurt so much…

yeah I have absolutely no spice tolerance.

The pizza was super good though.

I went there again a different time

and had the same pizza again

because it was just that tasty

but this time I had a chocolate milkshake with it

which eased the pain by a lot

and I could actually enjoy the pizza this time.

So there's a little tip for you if you wanna eat something spicy

but have a low spice tolerance -

drinking something milky alongside it helps a lot.

But it doesn't help..

when I don't KNOW that something is spicy.

I can't believe how many times I've ordered something at a restaurant

that didn't say it was spicy…

and it was spicy!

Listen,

BRO

just because there's only a small amount of spice in it

doesn't mean you shouldn't label it as having spice in it!

I really wouldn't care so much

but honestly spice just ruins my enjoyment of food.

They say you should keep eating spicy food to build up a tolerance for it but…

why?

Why would I do that?

I'm sorry but I'll never understand the appeal of spicy food

the tingling doesn't feel good

and it doesn't make the food taste better.

But feel free to try to explain it to me.

So there you have it.

Yet more things that bother me.

If you enjoyed this video you may enjoy my first

"things I can't stand" video

which you can check out here.

Like I said in that video

don't take anything I said here too seriously

I don't get SUPER MAD over these things

it's just funny to complain about stuff in a video.

So, let me know if you agree with me

and tell me some of your own pet peeves in the comments.

Thank you for watching and have a…

mildly irritating day!

How Failure Can Lead To Success - Duration: 7:59.

How can somebody who's had so many

bankruptcies and failure be considered

such a successful businessman? Hey Sam!

Good morning. So today Sam and I are

going out on a little canoe adventure.

There's actually been a brown bear

sighting. We... I saw the black bear three

days ago. And I saw a water snake.

But just down the road on the island,

there was a brown bear that was spotted.

And because on Friday which was just a

few days ago. I saw a black bear come

down the island and swim across, we

thought let's go out in the canoe and

look for the brown bear. We actually got

in the van drove around we didn't see it.

But we saw the pictures of people who

saw it just a few minutes before. Alright

so I saw this question posted on

quora and the post, I went back and looked

I couldn't find the exact same post. I

saw others that were similar and what

the person said is and I'm sure they were

referring to Donald Trump. I'm not going

to talk to politics here. But they said

"how can somebody who's had several

bankruptcies and had a failed casino and

whatnot and under the fan casino so... But

how can somebody who's had so many

bankruptcies and failure be considered

such a successful businessman?

Well I fully understand what that's like.

I believe that failure is the stepping

stone to success. So the more failures

you have, the more lessons you learn and

the more you learn, the more wisdom you

have and the better you are. The more

successful you are. The more equipped you are.

So I mean that's just a quick little

comment. I had to say that because I saw

that question it's like how can somebody

that's had a bankruptcy or had multiple

bankruptcies be considered such a

successful businessman? Well when you're

successful, when you have success if

you've achieved success in something or

it's worked,

you're then successful. Just because yet

failure leading up to it, that stinks and

it hurts. It's quite painful. I'm sorry

but he has just shifted our weight to

the center. When you've had failures like

that, those are the stepping stones to

success. So I turn so you guys can potentially

see the dock behind us here. Got a water

slide on it. So my son is... So I believe

that most people are afraid of

entrepreneurship. They're afraid of

business. Taking that leap of

entrepreneurship because of the fear of

failure. They think that somehow

if they don't succeed on their first try

that all will be lost.

It's not not common at all for people to

succeed on their first try because you

know people who go to business school,

they don't become entrepreneurs. People

kind of learn how to do it, they actually

become employees for big corporations. So

entrepreneurs, they have to learn by

trial and error. It's all just

experimentation and you got to expect to

have a lot of failures before you have

any measure of success. Looks like I

thought a skier fell in but they're not

stopping.

They just... Yeah, he fell. I don't... Yeah

Now they're turning around. There we go. They're

just leaving them hanging for a while.

Alright Sammy, do you see the look up

on the shore and see if you see a brown

bear. That's so cool if you spotted... Yeah on that side?

Yeah we could roll really best to keep

our safe distance huh? If it came in the

water?

Big wakes coming in towards the

sun. Big waves from the boat. Yeah you don't

have to paddle because it's got a steering wheel.

So this is the cabin that I grew up

going to except for this whole area

right there is totally brand new. That

used to be a big deck. A huge deck with a

massive massive stairway coming down. It

was so big. In fact, that there were a

couple big tall pine trees that my

grandpa built the deck around the trees.

So anyway, that cabin next door they

bought this cabin and remodeled it and

this dock out here is brand new. Alright,

right a couple days ago, my son and I and

my brother were out here. We came to this

very spot. They build up the this rock

wall for a little causeway across the

water this little tunnel. We just came

over to look at the tunnel that goes

under the the road I guess. But we saw

these animals and they look exactly like

ferrets. So just like ferrets, you'd see

at a pet store. But I've never seen

ferrets in the wild. They were long about

this big around but 18 inches long. Yeah

so I was standing on the log right there

and it jumped down into the water. Just

swam away it didn't even make a splash.

So I don't know if ferrets can

swim or it's some other type of animal

that just looks like a ferret. So he came

back over here this morning to say hello

and get them on video. But they're not

out they were just going in these holes

and there was at least three of them but

probably more that they were just three

is all that came out at the same time.

But anyway, hopefully we can get some

video of these critters before our stay

here is done. Yeah maybe everyone that came out was a different one. So that could

have been like a dozen of them. So we're

back in this Cove of the water here

it's quite clear. You can see down to the

rocks. I mean it's not too deep right

here. Why is that? So we're going to paddle

across the reservoir back to the island.

Can Trump control the Justice Department? - Duration: 4:04.

"I put in an attorney general that never took control of the Justice Department, Jeff Sessions.

With Robert Mueller's probe into Russian interference in the 2016 election ramping

up, President Donald Trump has pretty regularly attacked Attorney

General Jeff Sessions ... "I'm disappointed in the attorney general for numerous reasons. The attorney general made a

terrible mistake. ... intelligence and law enforcement officials ... These people have the biggest conflict of

interest I have ever seen. ... and the special counsel. The entire thing has been a witch hunt." ... a total witch hunt.

... a rigged witch hunt." And while the million-dollar question on Capitol Hill is whether — or when — Trump will

dare to fire his attorney general ... "Should the president fire Jeff Sessions at this point?" "It would be a

very, very, very bad idea." ... legal scholars and historians clash over how much control the president should have over the

Justice Department and federal prosecutors. "It's really been one thing after another, demonstrating a sustained

attitude that President Trump has toward federal prosecutors that they are, and should be, his lawyers who serve him."

Rebecca Roiphe is a professor at New York Law School and a co-author of a recent paper on the issue. She argues that while

the president's constitutional power to hire and fire his subordinates is undisputed, that power doesn't necessarily mean

he can tell Sessions and other prosecutors how to do their job, outside of general directives. "We want our president to set

broad policy objectives for the Department of Justice, like, 'We're going after k crimes'. But what we don't want the

president to do is to go in and say, you know, 'Go arrest that person, don't arrest this person, don't prosecute this

person,' because that's really scary. I mean, that's where democracy's fault lines are visible, and you could see where

it could all crumble." Roiphe, who's praised Sessions for standing up to Trump, says it's crucial for government attorneys

to put the rule of law above the president's personal interests. Otherwise, she claims, the fairness of every federal

investigation could be compromised in order to "further Trump's political ends." But because neither Congress nor the

Supreme Court has clearly settled the question, many scholars disagree with Roiphe. They say the Constitution gives

the president "unitary" power to control the entire executive branch, which the DOJ is part of. Alan Dershowitz of

Harvard Law School told Slate last December that

And Andrew McCarthy writes in the National Review:

"Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and Special Counsel Robert Mueller have no power of their

own; they exercise President Trump's prosecutorial power for as long as that arrangement suits President Trump."

Roiphe's counterargument to the unitary view of presidential powers is that there are inevitable separation of powers

within each branch of the government. That concept is known as "intra-branch checks and balances." "Balance of

powers is a very complicated topic, and people have totally different views about what it mean But one thing we know it

means is, nobody should get too much power, right? And when you look at things today and you look at where the checks are

coming from, it's really not coming from Congress. And therefore, you kind of look somewhere else, and where is it

coming from? It's coming from within the executive itself.

One of the things that's holding together our democracy — and I think appropriately so — is these these

professional norms of the government lawyers. And I think that was by design."

As for Jeff Sessions, Trump recently told Bloomberg News the attorney general's job was safe — at least until the midterms.

- Is it dangerous? - Is it scary?

It's not scary at all.

- Enjoy it. - Really.

It's not scary at all?

[Handshake of relief] Thank you.

Is it okay?

[Getting prepared to experience paragliding] - It's fine. - It's fine?

[The uniform is to his liking]

I'm finding the posture!

[Getting the hang of it just by wearing the suit] - It looks cool. - Does it?

Don't you know?

[Suddenly remembered wearing this suit] This is like that from before.

"I Know"

[Excitement going up humming the timeless song]

Okay, let's go!!

[Cannot control the excitement bubbling up]

[Dancing to the beat]

[Suddenly shy] Let's go now.

Let's go.

[Back to the present] - Stop. - It's tiring.

[Still very excited] - So excited! - Nice. - Good.

I'm overwhelmed with joy.

Let's go paragliding!

Let's go!!

[Go] - What is that? Go? - Go.

[Going to the paragliding location by car]

I'm nervous. I'm nervous.

[Ditto] [Suddenly becoming speechless]

We'll be flying in the sky.

"Running through the dry sky"

[We sing when we're scared]

["Run Across the Sky" by Lee Juck]

["Like it" by Yoon Jongshin]

[The three are in a singing mood]

["I Can't" by 4men]

[The nervous three sang 7 songs, in full]

[and shoot their album cover, out of nowhere] Our album cover.

[The attractive boys who appeared like comets]

[Idol, October Issue] [We will forever sing the lead]

[Woo-Young-Seon, 3-member boy group, debut] [The start of a legend that will go down in idol history]

[5 viscera and 6 entrails, will they surpass the Big Dipper?] [Cute next to Handsome next to Handsome]

[On a train to the paragliding spot after shooting their album cover]

Let's go.

[Do you want to go paragliding with me?]

[Let's go together!]

[The train leaves after checking everyone is safely on board]

[We're going]

See you later.

Bye-bye.

[Heart beating]

[A steep slope with no end] I don't see the end.

- It's really high. - I seriously can't see the end.

- Isn't this too high? - We go further up?

[Shaking] - It's getting higher. - Oh my gosh.

Look how steep it is.

[Urgently speaks in dialect] Is this slope for real?

[Suddenly at eye level with Mt. Fuji] We getting closer to the height of Fuji.

Isn't this sight something you see on TV or picture frames?

- I know. - My back.

[What a pity I left my DSLR camera] I should have brought my DSLR camera.

[Can't believe I can't take pictures of this]

[Overcoming sadness with music]

[Getting into it]

[Fantastic harmony going over the ridge]

- "Couldn't say to go together" - Thought we are here ...

Wow, what is this?

Look!

[The landscape comes into view after a song] - It's surreal. - It's just ... wow.

Seriously, what is this?

It's awesome.

[We chose well] It's good we decided to come here, right?

- When would we come here? We're too busy. - It's totally awesome.

[Wait, I have to capture this somehow.]

[Scenery captured by Youngmin's phone]

[Hyungs' capture by Seonho's phone]

[Arrived at the start line while taking photos] We're here, we're here.

- We're here? - We are.

[But something seems to be wrong with Seonho ...]

[Looking anxious]

Shoot. How can I jump ...

- I can't. - Really, how can I do this?

I can't do this.

- I can't do this. - This is nonsense.

[Everyone gives up as soon as they arrive] How can you jump off?

I can't jump.

You just run and jump???

- We'll just enjoy the view ... - My knees feel weak.

I think we can just enjoy the view and go down.

We should have gone with the bikes.

[Starting to regret my past self] Why did I say paragliding?

[The change in emotion after facing paragliding]

[Denial] Enjoy and see at the bottom.

- You're walking down? - Fighting, fighting!

- This will be better.

[Anger]

[Losing their minds]

[Acceptance] - I'm excited. - You look relaxed.

I'm having fun.

[Seonho, the worrier] Is this okay?

[Don't worry]

[The only thing you can do now is pray]

[and ask endlessly] - Is it really okay? - Yes.

Thank you.

Let's do a group hug for the last time.

- It's not the last time. - Don't say it's the last time.

- Wait, do I have a parachute? - No.

- Parachute? - You don't have it, hyung. - He has it ...

[Overwhelmed with his reality] If I become separated with him,

shouldn't I have one for me?

[Brutal] IF that happens, just give up.

I should just accept that this is it and give up?

- Thinking Photo People Season 2 was great? - You are a cruel person, aren't you?

[Just kidding]

[Nervous all of a sudden due to the older members' joke]

Interpreter, how do you say "save me" in Japanese?

[Memorizing rapidly] Save me.

When you go,

[Sharing tips since he's already done it before] you can't jump on purpose.

[giving his know-hows] - Stay still? - Continue to run against the wind ...

[Precious tips you must know] and sit down when your legs are in the air.

Before that, you should keep running.

So we are really ....

[The lyrics of "running across the sky" becomes a reality]

Let's practice.

[Filmed safely, after getting trained by a professional] See here.

Just keep on running.

[continuing simulation] Even when your legs are in the air, keep running.

- Just keep running in the sky. - Run.

For about 3 seconds, continue to move the legs.

- Then ... - You can enjoy, - Okay.

Fighting!

[Woohyun got ready to run during the 1:1 lesson] Go.

[Our hyung is the greatest]

- Don't look back and just go. - Got it. - Okay?

We're here. Don't worry, hyung.

[Caution, too serious] - We're here. - Root for me. - Of course.

- Okay, fighting! - Fighting!!

One, two, three, fighting!

One, two, three, let's go!!

The energy level dropped after saying let's go.

[Soul leaving the body]

[Actually ready] Hyung, one last hug.

One last hug.

Please give me a hug.

[The warmest hug in the world] Please give me a hug.

[You are watching a scene that will make you cry.] Please give me a hug, Younngmin.

What happens if you slip while running?

[Too serious, again] Think of us, hyung.

Look at Woohyun hyung.

[Somehow hyung's back looks smaller today] Woohyun hyung ...

[Our hyung ...! You can do it ... !]

Is it okay?

Yes, it's okay.

Three, two, one, run.

Just go?

Go?

Fighting, hyung! Oh no!!!

[Argh!!!]

[With the fierce cheering in the background]

[Nam Woohyun flies in the sky]

[Ahahaha]

It's fun!

[This feeling of floating] It's fun, Really fun. What is this?

[After actually running #NoFear #FamiliarFeeling]

One more time! One more time!

[Shall I make it more fun]

[Argh]

[No thank you to fun.]

소란(SORAN) - '잠이 안 와 Zamianwa(Can't Close My Eyes)' Official Lyric Video (ENG SUB) - Duration: 3:49.

I can't sleep I think I'm crazy

Because I have a lot in my mind and feel frustrated

Even if I toss and turn So many times

And close my eyes tight

I can see you

Because you're in my mind until I feel sick

Even if the night gets deeper

I miss you

It's already a late night

Now I turn off the light

And close my eyes

In the darkness As if I don't know anything

I heard my heartbeat

A little more

If I wait, I think I can fall asleep

A little more

If I open my eyes I can wake up

A little more

I feel thirsty

Time passes too quickly why

No matter what I do

I can't sleep I think I'm crazy

Because I have a lot in my mind and feel frustrated

Even if I toss and turn so many times

And close my eyes tight

I can see you

Because you're in my mind until I feel sick

Even if the night gets deeper

I miss you

Tonight tonight, too

I'm just like this You never understand

Every night I'm just thinking of you

A little more

I think I'm done

A little more

I think I feel comfortable if I give up

I just blame so many thoughts

And innocent pillows

No matter what I do

I can't sleep I think I'm crazy

Because I have a lot in my mind and feel frustrated

Even if I toss and turn so many times

And close my eyes tight

I can see you

Because you're in my mind until I feel sick

Even if the night gets deeper

I miss you

Tonight tonight, too

I'm just like this You never understand

Every night I just think of you

I can't sleep I think I'm crazy

Because I have a lot in my mind and feel frustrated

Even if I toss and turn so many times

And close my eyes tight

(Every night I'm just)

Thinking of you

I can't sleep I think I'm crazy

Because I have a lot in my mind and feel frustrated

I'm just thinking of you

Liturgy Man: How can congregations without authorized presiders celebrate the sacraments regularly? - Duration: 6:22.

welcome to this episode of QA with

liturgy man i'm taylor burton edwards

liturgy man with discipleship ministries

of the United Methodist Church

I'm your apportionment dollars at work

to help you strengthen worship and the

understanding of worship where you are

this question comes to me from my

predecessor in the role of director of

worship resources at discipleship

ministries and that is from Daniel

Benedict who served in that role from

1992 until 2005 following after the

20-year ministry of Hoyt Hickman in that

role and he wanted me to address the

question of appropriate ways that

congregations who do not have authorized

presiders may be

able to receive Holy

Communion in light of the fact that it's

very clear in this holy mystery what

ways are not appropriate to provide for

this I'm using here the study edition

provided by Gayle Carlton Felton page 53

here's what the inappropriate ways are

it says the practice of consecrating

elements ahead of time for the

convenience of the pastor not having to

go to small or remote congregations

weekend camps or other such occasions is

in appropriate and contrary to our

historic doctrine and understanding of

how God's grace is made available in the

sacrament so this practice that is

remains unfortunately widely practice of

pre consecration is declared by our

doctrinal statement on Holy Communion to

be contrary to our historic doctrine and

should not be continued that should be a

closed door what are the open doors this

holy mystery helpfully identifies three

of them directly two of them it

identifies on again looking at this

study edition page 34 where it says

attention should be given to the special

needs of churches whose

pastoral leadership is neither ordained

nor licensed and it offers two options

here both in which involved the DS

working through some arrangements

sometimes congregations as well of

sometimes with congregations and

other denominations here's where it says

cooperative parishes that is multiple

United Methodist congregations brought

together one of which would be at least

one of which would include a an

authorized presider on that team and

ecumenical shared ministries where one

of the presider is either United

Methodist or another denomination is

authorized to preside may offer patterns

through which congregations could

receive regular sacramental ministry as

in page 34 and then later on page 44

there is this additional note about ways

to involve not just elders an extension

ministry but in fact all elders within a district

it says elders who are an extension

ministries and retired elders may be

asked to preside when they are needed in

local churches or on other sacramental

occasions quote all conference members

who are elders in full connection

including those in extension ministries

shall be available and on call to

administer the sacraments of Baptism and

the Lord's Supper as required by the

discipline and as requested by the

district superintendent of the district

in which the appointment is held so

district superintendents already holds

several keys to resolve this problem

completely either by organizing

cooperative parishes creating the

opportunity for ecumenical shared

ministries or simply putting all of the

elders within their district onto a

schedule a rota if you will that in

which all the churches will have the

opportunity to have one of the people

who is part of that part of that

district and is an authorized presider

as an elder to serve Holy Communion on

some kind of regular basis within the district

so there's a lot DSS can do and that

this holy mystery specifically mentions

I'll mention a couple more things that

could happen even if the DS is not in a

position to organize this sort of thing

elders you can and let me invite you to

go ahead and start doing it look around

you meeting it whenever you meet

together as clustered groups or as

ministerial associations in your area

look around you and ask yourselves are

there churches around here that lack an

authorized presider how can I be part of

the solution organize yourselves where

you are to be part of a solution and let

your DS know you have done it there's

nothing in the Book of Discipline that

says you can't do that go ahead and do

it finally let me suggest this that is

laity, laity if you're in a church like

this please accept no substitutes pre

consecration is desecration according to

our doctrine don't allow for it call

other elders in the area call your

district superintendent call your bishop

to account to make sure that you have

the appropriate liturgical leadership

the appropriate authorized presiders for

the regular celebration of the

sacraments as you need them where they

where you are hope this has been helpful

remember you can always contact me

worship@liturgyfolks.com through

the UMC worship Facebook group or drop a

line on this page and perhaps your

question or comment may become the basis

for a future episode of Q&A with liturgy

man may the peace of Christ be always with you
