you are not going to stand for the national anthem you can go back and you

can go sit in the locker room are you surprised by those stats well first of

all I'm very happy that the NFL is standing up for what's right that's

stands as paying their money to see these players stand for the flag you

know what this is not about a white thing or a black thing this is about

doing the right thing that's right will you do the right thing you stand up you

be patriotic you stand up for our veterans you stand up you stand you

fought for our freedoms that's know it's time for us to stand up and make sure

that we we honor them and we respect them

and imagine what would have happened if they would have kneeled and protests and

dissonant justice that's going on in the different neighborhoods and in the black

community if you want the protest go there and protest what's going on there

not the flag and not on our time or dime yeah it'll be very interesting to see if

this ends the discussion or if it continues as the NFL kicks off next

been front and center on which is the censoring of conservative content across

social media platforms it has been happening to you and you've been you've

been very outspoken even testifying about it well it's now we believe it

Instagram just recently he said if this account quote could cause harm and even

lead to death end quote which is what some of his followers said they were

told we have serious problems the hashtag shadow banned nonsense and the

hysteria re any conservative thought has to stop he

points out that even with an engagement of over 7,000 impressions last week he

added zero new followers he feels like he's being censored online would that

surprise you well you know what it's not surprising because it's happening to a

lot of conservative voices it's even happening to the President of the United

States that's right it must stop you know if we don't get a handle on this

here we're gonna have these social media platforms trying to dictate everything

to a southern that's what we can and we cannot see it's time to bring this to a

halt we know that these social media

platforms like Facebook and Instagram and Twitter are trying to win an

election for the left and they're not going to work this is clearly 6er ship

this is suppression of voices it is not fair they supposed to be a platform for

all ideas you can't suppress some ideas you can't name them escape and you can't

start that's offensive miss Aviva somebody has hate and making

them look like they gonna die if they do some pictures of family of their family

for releasing Josh Holt but I do think we of course have to get credit to

who's going to apologize this is not someone who's going to cau to us this is

a president who's going to say give us our American citizens back and we've had

Venezuelan government is doing in the way they treat their people so that was

a smart move on their part but still a very powerful moment last night and

health warning that finds out that no amount of booze apparently sausage or

bacon is safe at all joining us now to weigh in is dr. McKay of our shops he

also known as dr. Mike with maybe not such good news the lion's den but I

understand we have all the booze we have all the bacon it's the holidays you have

to celebrate now we have to make that point obvious right from the get-go that

if you eat this type of food for celebration purposes or every now and

then that's not what this study is talking about this is talking about

eating bacon every day about 50 grams worth which is four strips of bacon and

it found that it increased the risk of cancer somewhere between 15 to 20% for

strips of bacon every day everyone is saying so the headline of no amount yeah

not really so this is it this is what scientists do and this is why as a

clinical doctor who actually sees patients on a regular basis I disagree

with the logic that they're taking here they're saying that no amount is safe

yes if the risk slightly goes up by 0.1% that makes it not safe but that's a

judgment call on their part what I decide is safe for me or safe for my

patients it's totally different that's an opinion call so what they're doing is

they're trying to make it scientific while I'm looking at the human aspect of

things and that's where we have a little bit of a disagreement well let me read

some of the stats this year an estimated over 1.7 million new cases of cancer

will be diagnosed in the US can you tie that to diet I mean how how do you break

this down well there was a study done not so long ago that showed 42 percent

of cancer cases are caused by preventable factors and the leading

cause of that was smoking over drinking indoor tanning beds and being obese so

yes maybe bacon slightly contributes to that and if you think about the people

that eat huge amounts of bacon they're not eating fruits they're not eating

veggies they're not eating healthy that is true no fruits no veggie no extras oh

that's me I actually have any bacon every day

I really do because why not I celebrate Tuesday yeah I mean Tuesday it might be

the last Tuesday I ever have you also say what's wrong with that mindset you

know if you work out maybe you can eat bacon here's

it's not about making trade-offs it's about understanding what's right for you

my job as the doctor is not to scare you with statistics it's to give you the
