for every single battlefield for the
longest time it's always been this hot
topic to know how to beat your KD like
how do you raise your kd well the
thing is that it is a process and it's
not necessarily easy because it's time
consuming and you have to actually go
about this process of certain way
someone's show you guys how to do that a
lot of people want to know how to do it
and that's my cue man i'm here to help
you so without further ado let's get
right into it so number one don't leave
games early it will hurt you in the long
run bro do not leave them early if you
stay and your face people better than
you you will improve and you will
improve fast i promise you do not leave
man
trust me and I to make sense man and
make sense you don't have to leave you
know if you want to leave you're
probably wanting to leave because you're
sucking because the enemy is too good
but dude that's gonna make you improve
your gonna have to learn to do things
that you've never done before in order
to win it'll definitely help you out man
don't leave just face it face the
situation for what it is moving on to
tip to unless you've mastered your class
be sure that you're using the right
class in the right situations right if
you're defending and operations for
example knowing a shotgun
alright defenders are supposed to be
using snipers and stuff like that so
that you guys can keep the enemy as far
away as possible what are you doing with
the shotgun
that's the job of an attacker man you
want to make sure that you're using the
right classes and the right situations
and like unless you a pro at your class
right like for me example like the
gameplay you're watching on screen
I'm like sniping in close quarters from
quickscoping everybody that's going
pretty good i'm doing alright see I'm
not supposed to be using it like that
but i can still do it it bro if you can
do something like that yourself you can
go ahead and do that whatever is gonna
make you get more kills and I last
Probot typically you would make sure
that you're using the right classes in
the right situations and not be using
the wrong classes in the wrong
situations that's definitely what you
have to keep in mind next tip number
three
this one is so so important you need to
focus on improving your aim and your
reaction time both of which i have
separate videos for make sure you click
the add on the top right of your screen
you can click it anytime bro but you
definitely need to improve your aim
and improve your reaction time bro you
need to you need to man because that is
how you're going to get shots on-target
that is how you're going to get shots
quicker and that is how you're going to
win gunfights you want to make sure
you're doing that man definitely do
everything in your power to improve that
you may want to check out those videos
up on the top right for you can click on
any time finish this video first tho
number-4 spot spot spot man and helps
you see your enemies that helps your
squat see the enemies and you guys can
see them on screen and on the mini-map
which is a huge advantage because you
can see exactly where they are and where
they're walking thats that's awesome and
that are really really help you not only
that but it also gives you extra points
when someone kills just the spot enemy
so you get extra points but glute look
look at your screen and what am i doing
what I've been doing this whole game
play every time that I go for a quick
scope or a sniper whatever I always go
for the first shot or or I I spot them
right away I spot them right away I go
for the first shot and then I crouched
or go prone or do whatever and try to
get a second shot in that is what i do
but i always spot these guys before I
kill them why because i know there's
always a good chance that i will not
kill them right but I want to make sure
that my squads can avenge me my squad so
I spot them and not only that but it
also helps me a name that I helps me see
them if that makes sense that helps me
see them the spot thing in house we see
them it does exactly what it's supposed
to do i definitely recommend that for
you guys
tip 5 you want to make sure that you're
defending objectives but do this
strategically right do not go for
offensive do not do not play offensively
go
defensively this is the best because you
can get more kills with your death while
still helping your team bro
the thing is that if you go offensive
the enemies that are playing defense are
going to get you there gonna be ready
for you man but if you turn the table
around and you're the one who's
defending and you're like picking off
the enemies that are our that are
offensive they are going to lose a lot
more than you are you're going to get
more killed simply because you're
playing strategically of course
don't try to play stupidly right get
behind cover make sure you're playing
strategically make sure you look at your
map make sure it's fighting enemies make
sure you're listening to squad leader
all that manual
dimitris you're near your squad
everything all that all that goes into
play broad number six make sure that you
are sound horn bro you can hear any
footsteps
easy easy on a pair of nice gaming
headsets but bro even on earphones
alright that came with your iphone that
came with your Galaxy bro even with
those earphones you are actually going
to do better you those are better than
just TV speakers or if you have a
speaker on your monitor or whatever bro
you want to make sure that you're using
headsets or even earphones just because
you can hear better hopefully if you
guys can get them you want you may want
to get them like surround sound so that
you can hear exactly from where the
footsteps are coming from and from where
what side the gun shots are being fired
from and stuff like that man
but do they will help you so much just
make sure you put them on and make sure
you're paying attention to the footsteps
man you're gonna do not learn what your
footstep sounds like they're going to
learn what other people's footsteps
sound like so definitely make sure you
buy one of those fewer if you unless you
already have one point do I definitely
definitely recommend that one
alrighty deuter so this is gonna be the
last tip number 7 keep adding bro just
keep adding I practice sniping you know
this gameplay you're seeing i'm doing so
good because I practice sniping like
that five to ten hours daily every
single day at least five to ten hours
bro I practice like if I were on in the
eSports man I practice like flour and in
the professional gamers something like
that that's because I want to be good at
ever i want to be able to you know rush
around the map and still get killed with
a sniper and with a scope I don't like
infantry I don't like to trench even
though it's easier to use them
I don't like using them all right
because it's more fulfilling to use a
scope and that's what I make myself do
five to ten hours a day you want to make
sure that you brought are doing the same
thing you have to practice you can just
go in and see that think they're going
to be some proaches after hearing me
talk you gotta know how to actually do
all this but you gotta practice that to
you gotta practice that man hopefully
you guys enjoyed don't forget to drop a

How to unhash - Combo file or a single hash - Duration: 9:45.
Hi guyz It's IDO EVERYTHING and today I am gonna show you how to unhash any md5 hash
so for that guyz you gonna need Kali Linux make sure you download it and install it if
you don't have kali linux close this video and watch a video about how to download and
Install kali linux on a virtual machine or whatever you wanna use tho I am using a virtual
machine right now so I am gonna stick with virtual machine cause it's pretty simple and
easy you guyz should also download virtual machine install kali linux in it it's pretty
simple and easy alright so lets start guyz I have this txt file it's full of md5 hashes
as you guyz can see it's full of md5 and it's kinda pretty big so what I am gonna do with
it is I am gonna like unhash all of the md5 if it's not md5 there are a lot of other hashes
like SHA1 so you can also unhash that you gonna find out which one of them is SHA1 but
in this file most of them are

7 - MAC Scheduler & Physical Channels - Fundamentals of 4G ( LTE ) - Duration: 9:24.
Hello Friends, Welcome back to the world of 4G.
Today we will discuss the function MAC Scheduler Module and Physical Channel.
Previously We have shown, The different functions of MAC layer, With the analogy of transportation
mechanism used in logistic companies.
In addition to that, MAC layer also contains MAC control, which performs 2 important operation.
1. As we know, during transmission and reception of data, a lot of power is consumed by the handset
So, in order to save power, the user equipment does not stay awake all the time.
In Idle mode, It wakes up at fixed intervals, to receive data through paging alert messages.
This is called Discontinuous reception or DRX operation.
now, this paging alert messages are neither processed by MAC layer, nor by Hybrid ARQ layer
since, Paging signals are retransmitted on fixed intervals, based on Discontinuous reception
or DRX inactivity timer.
So it does not depend on HARQ Ack/NACK response.
2. MAC control is also responsible for the alignment of the uplink timing and power headroom reporting.
The most important function of eNB, is to allocate resources dynamically.
This function is handled by MAC scheduler module of MAC Layer.
Previously we have discussed that MAC layer has to handle,
1. HARQ retransmission control,
2. Logical channel multiplexing and priority handling.
These functions are actually handled by MAC scheduler module.
In addition to that it has to- Dynamically Decide Modulation scheme-
The MAC scheduler gets information of the Instantaneous Radio channel quality from Users through
Channel state information message in which it sends the CQI.
Based on channel quality it decides which modulation scheme is to be used.
Now, The data in DLSCH or user plane channel contains user traffic which needs to be carried out
to Users irrespective of channel quality outside.
If the coverage is poor the network will use QPSK.
Else it will use higher Modulation schemes such as, 16QAM, 64QAM etc.
But the signalling channels need guaranteed delivery that is why they use QPSK as it is
considered the most ROBUST modulation scheme.
MAC scheduler module also has to decide, Which are the terminals to transmit.
The set of resource block upon which the downlink shared data for the mentioned terminal would delivered.
The selection of transport Block size.
These 3 functions are implemented in Physical layer.
So, as you can see, MAC scheduler module takes most of the decision.
Rest just follow accordingly.
That is why it is also called as the "Brain of LTE".
That Brings us to our last and most complex part, that is Physical Channels.
The transport channels such as Paging Channel and Downlink Shared Channel, are mapped into
Physical Downlink Shared Channel.
It is used for carrying user traffic and as well Paging information.
The Broadcast Channel and MultiCast channel are mapped one to one Physical Broadcast Channel
and Physical Multicast Channel.
Similarly in UPLINK, The transport channel such as Uplink shared
channel is mapped on to Physical Uplink Shared Channel, and Physical Random Access Channel
is used for random access functions.
Now, consider you are an user, you received some physical data from eNB, through physical channels
But you don't know in which Resource element, the Downlink shared data is hidden or, which
demodulation scheme to be use.
That is why L1 and L2 control signals are used.
They carry Downlink Control information, which contain relevant information on how to process
the physical data.
It is just like the record submitted by team Z, based on which the items are extracted
at receiving end.
The various Control signals used here are, Physical Downlink Control Channel: This channel
carries, the control information about the data being transmitted on the current subframe
and the information about the system information block, which User need to use for the transmission of uplink data
That means it is mandatory for the User to decode it successfully if it wants to send
some data or receive something.
It also provides Uplink Power control information and Hybrid ARQ info.
Physical Control Format Indicator Channel:- As the name implies, these channel informs
the user about the format of the signal being received.
It indicates the number of OFDM symbols used for the PDCCH, whether 1, 2, or 3.
The information within this channel is essential to decode PDCCH, because the user does not
have prior information about number of resource to be used in OFDM Grid.
Physical HARQ Indicator Channel:- It carries the HARQ ACK/NACK signal, indicating whether
a transport block has been correctly received.
The Control signal used in UPLINK is Physical uplink control channel, which is the counterpart
of PDCCH in downlink.
If we notice here, There are no Transport channels corresponding to Control Channels/Signals.
So far, we have seen the function of Logical, Transport and Physical channels.
But these MAC PDUs or the Transport Blocks, which are being delivered from MAC Layer to
the Physical Layer undergo a lot of Digital Signal Processing before being sent to the
air interface as RF signals.
Let us understand them with the help of Block Diagram.
CRC attach - A cyclic redundancy check (CRC)added to every transport block for error checking.
If after Adding CRC to the transport block exceeds the maximum block size, then it is
segmented to smaller code blocks, and individual CRC is added to each code blocks by a
Turbo coder, which is called as code block segmentation.
Channel coding - It's a turbo coding step, whose job is basically converting one bit
input to 3 bit output as it goes through the turbo coding processor (It means the coding rate is 1/3).
Rate matching - In simple words, the output of the Turbocoder goes through detailed process
of "interleaving", "BitCollection", "Bit Selection and pruning" and ultimately generates an encoded
bit stream
these coded streams then go through scrambling process, after that they are mapped to correct
modulation scheme which is decided by MAC scheduler, as discussed earlier.
After a precoding process, finally the bits are mapped to Resource elements and then goes
for OFDMA process.
In Uplink the same physical layer model is used only the last OFDMA block is replaced
by SC-FDMA.
Once the signal processing is complete, the resources are finally ready to be transmitted
in AIR interface.
That brings us to the End of Channels used here.
To summaries it all- Logical channels tell WHAT is the type and purpose of the Data.
Such as paging, broadcasting etc
Transport Channels decide HOW the data is going to be transmitted.
It allocates the transport block size and dynamically decides the modulation scheme
that is to be used.
Physical Channels know WHERE exactly the Resource elements are located.
It handles the Signal Processing and thus it knows HOW EXACTLY the data is going to be transmitted.
So In a nutshell we can say, We cannot transmit the data without knowing
WHERE to transmit and HOW it should be transmitted, also we cannot decide HOW a data should be
transmitted without knowing WHAT is the data.
So in hierarchy of 4G protocol stack. first LOGICAL, then TRANSPORT, Then PHYSICAL.
So Friends, Thanks for making it to the end.
In our next video we will be discussing MIMO(Multiple Input Multiple output) and Carrier Aggregation
where we will also discuss how Throughput is calculated.
You can post your doubts in the comments section.
Don't forget to share it with your friends.

Why and how THE PERSONAL IS THE POLITICAL - Duration: 25:13.
narcissism is so deeply entrenched
instilled in Western society that the
more people struggle and shift around
the more they sink into its quicksand
every time I see somebody criticizing
identity politics they entrench
themselves in a different sort of
identity politics
the problem is as i have mentioned
before that they have known historical
context for their critiques
so when the right-wingers are
conservatives attack the left-wing
identity politics what they do is they
call upon tradition they call upon
traditional notions about people's place
and people's identities and people's
roles and they basically reimpose the
original expectations regarding those
you will hear it with a bit of an
adjustment for instance people say well
men and women ah differently they are
different we can tell biologically they
are different but they don't look at
what that means
socially they don't look at what it
means politically they just say and it
will all come out in the wash well they
don't say that but then you know they
say just don't just accept nature except
what is natural but what is natural and
what is nature they beg the question
because they feel that it's already
installed within us to feel what is
natural and what is nature however i
have noticed that in America the sense
of gender is very very strong that that
sense that men and women are
fundamentally almost a different species
that they think differently that they
act differently that their motivations
are different that they mowed
differently this is common sense in
America come to Australia and will find
that common sense is not so present
it's not a strong feeling here and
consequently what you can deduce
and that is that its cultural these
expectations about gender can be very
very cultural indeed and if you come to
Australia you would find a lot that's
more unisex you would find a lot that is
less in terms of this categorization of
particular types of human nature and the
expectations that are associated with
men being men and women being women
there is a lot still however tradition
in Australia but the overall sense of
things is not the same as it is in
America it's actually different so when
people of the right criticized those of
the left
they just generally tend to beg the
question they tend to revert to an
appeal to common sense and this this
appeal is really an appeal to the run
cultural expectations their own
innocence I intellectual laziness and
let's just revert to that that makes it
all so easy doesn't it
except you're not an American it makes
it all so hard and not at all is the all
transparent but that's something that's
overlooked
yeah Americans her countless wisdom and
apparently regardless without them i
will say a single to about one
particular point which is the feeling or
sensation of whimsy I sometimes enjoy
that I sometimes find it very pleasant
but what does presuppose a great deal of
sophistication on the part of the
listener for them to also enjoy whimsy
tongue standard for marketers and in a
narcissistic society or too often if I
would be the ability to shift moves to
understand different attitudes and what
they convey this is disappearing in
Western culture do too
the entrenchment of narcissism and
there's there is very little that your I
can do about that except i guess let it
take its course
things seem to get very very very much
was in in the sense of people having any
nuance to their view result being able
to ascertain or take in and no one's
perspective able to shift levels to
understand and attitude that evokes a
certain range of emotions and a
different attitude that evokes another
range and then
goodness me what if the same person had
the capacity to have a model range of
attitudes and that gets all too
complicated analysis to society people
don't know what to make it anymore
you will like this on that day and you
like this on another day
what are you getting at you're not being
serious enough it's not serious and then
we'll go and vote in Donald Trump who is
really the red-nosed cloud and actually
not serious professing epitome of
seriousness apparently for it very
narcissistic society that's how people
view being serious i will pause it is
only here today it's 801 am only if all
new years and a very bright day is going
to warm up really very much today and I
guess all the plants are going to suffer
that I come to the rescue
so to recap what happens in a
contemporary Western society where
people try to fight identity politics
and they try to fight narcissism is that
they struggle and struggle and struggle
they kick around they beat against it
but they've got no solid sense of
history they've got another frame of
reference and members
entrenched themselves more deeply in
Gnosticism because there's nothing else
for them to grab onto its all quicksand
from here on I want to talk about the
notion that was attacked on a video like
I saw recently I didn't actually see the
Americas I couldn't
sometimes I get squeamish listening to
this superficial dialogue even if people
are trying to determine make a point I
can't listen to it because it seems to
miss the point it seems to lack
intellectual rigor in it lacks above all
sense of history to get the context to
give it the meaning that it needs and
then I get all screaming because they're
sticking into quicksand
I can't watch it anymore and all look
like they're dying but the technology
they'll find out when somebody goes
looking for their bleached bones then
they'll find out all I died I was dead
all too bad so they are the situation of
people attacking identity politics for a
position of advanced contemporary
modality is not a happy one to observe
but i do want to talk a little bit
anecdotally about an experience that I
had where I was able to make a lot of
sense and get a lot of mileage out of
the understanding that i heard that the
personal is political
now this term this expression as it
seems to me it really relies on one
having a lot of sophistication with
regard to one's capacity for awareness
so one must start up from a position
where one can do complex
analysis within one's head and counter
rather difficult or at least somewhat
complicated conclusions about how
reality works i saw i thought in the
beginning of the video that I couldn't
watch that the woman was pontificating
that you can't say the personal is
political because that's not Isis ism
but that's nice isn't if you are already
deeply entrenched in the quicksand of a
late classes modern culture which is
narcissistic and then everything
actually unfortunately becomes
narcissism because that's just how it
has to be without historical reference
you will sink into that single goodbye
see you at a later time so it's not what
it means I do not believe that's what it
originally meant either because i have
read books on feminism my I used to need
to read that kind of material to get
myself out of a dire situation and it
wasn't what I thought it meant at that
time maybe I just impose my own
sophistication onto things as I go
maybe but I don't think that's true i
mean it's it's true in the sense that I
i have an expectation of sophisticated
responses and analyses but i don't think
that the writers that i read were
lacking in sophistication quite to the
country so i read our in the past the
nineteen seventies family some and i
believe i understood it but it said is
that the personal is political and I was
very very naive at that time
I don't know how to get more deeply into
that and so I just began writing her
began writing my experiences i began
writing my memoirs and I was trying to
get to the bottom of something because I
felt to change the metaphor entire me
from quicksand to something else I felt
like a worm on the surface of a very hot
sandy desert and I felt that the Sun was
beating down on me and I needed to get
beneath the surface of reality or i
would surely die i felt i would shrivel
up because that Sun beating on me was
intense and i had no resources i was a
migrant I had no knowledge had no
intellectual routes once around the
world has roots that's getting a bit
shocking here but I i had the tree had
no roots and one tree had no roots are
and that's a terrible thing with a 13 is
lacking in its roots it's going to tend
to shrivel up and die and i was such a
one tray and I had to I had to do
something to save myself
oh why why was I a 13 in this instance
well there was a reason it's called
patriarchy that was my reason that was
my experience but i didn't understand it
not really are and when i began to delve
more deeply into the possible being the
political that's so when in gradual
improvements all fits and starts i began
to make more sense of my situation and
white was dire but I don't understand
until much much later the extent and
degree to which it was a dire situation
for me because
I had come out of an extreme right-wing
culture extreme militaristic culture and
I was really bearing the brunt of my
father's aggression against women and
his anger at the historical situation he
had been roughly pulled out of I mean I
don't mean roughly isn't Jim generally i
mean really harshly really violently
pulled from his own circumstances his
own roots and he was angry at the world
and he was angry at the little so-called
you know feminine world so like it in
letter consciousness we have a funny
thing going on where the right wing is
considered to be masculine symbolically
and the left wing is considered to be
feminine so you can see that rhodesia
being masculine was defeated by the
liberal global consensus which was
feminine and any case my father was very
very sporting angry indeed about that
whole state of affairs and then there
were some generational issues to do with
gender that had also got under his skin
and made him want to turn his skin off
the fight the world and particularly
find me because to him I represented all
that was wrong with the world was easy
if you're boiling with emotion if you
are heated up if you're fit to spit it's
easy to get rid of that if you can find
a suitable scapegoat of projected onto
them
it goes away into the desert dies and
you say what a relief I feel better now
I was that's good good so that was the
historical context for my situation took
me a long time to work it out but one of
the principles that I applied is that
the personal what I'm experiencing
personally
is the political it makes sense if I
brought my own perspective
look beyond myself look at the political
and then come back and from that broader
perspective that macro perspective look
at myself and say yes I see that in
context now it makes sense now once
before
not so much why would I be as good good
what's it about me if i look at it
purely possible terms right there is no
answer
I haven't done anything I haven't even
been allowed to do anything in the world
so that i could have invited punishment
for any any act that i may have
committed so it wasn't to do with maybe
it wasn't to do with my personal life it
was to do or is something much broader
and more physical once you understand
that its political you can bring that
back to yourself and said it's a family
tradition and I didn't know that before
but now i do how do i know it was a
feminist issue
well eventually I understood that my
father was very angry at his mother in
an infantile way because as any infant
he had lost his father to rod wartune
and he thought my grandmother and his
mother had simply lost like misplaced
the father that was his infantile
reckoning i have deduced that this was
the source of his infantile rage at his
mother you're not giving me attention
not give me love moreover you've lost
the important thing my father how could
you have been so careless and then women
are bad women are evil we can do not do
the right thing and then his mother had
to get married married another guy was
very abusive emotionally and sometimes I
guess physically toward my father
because in a very patriarchal society
it's the bloodline that matters in my
father was not the bloodline of this
particular man and he let my father know
that in different ways economic
me emotionally and otherwise pretty much
let him that I'm taking you under my
wing but I don't want to it's an
obligation to your mother and I don't
necessarily feel lat obliged to you and
maybe I don't like you that much so
patriarchy that's what patriarchy is
it's the reference to the bloodline of
the male and the woman is not so
important she is just the in a way
property or the carrier of the mail
bloodline and my father taking the path
of least resistance was mad at his
mother and not at patriarchy not at the
system but at the victim of the system
his mother because she had no power
really had to have to do what you did
had to swallow her emotions had to get
married to somebody new and he was angry
at her because she had let him down by
not having more power by not being more
capable by not having what she could not
have because the system did not allow
her to have well money that came from a
social welfare puts or something like
that so that that's how the possible was
the political for my thousand because he
was a victim of extreme patriarchy but
he couldn't recognize it and then the
only recourse atif LT had when I was
growing up and when I became a burden to
hit the economically when we had to
change country and my greatness to kick
me all I represented women i represent
all the head God bad and rather his life
and that's the way he was able to
embrace the ideology of patriarchy
despite it having laid down and continue
to embrace it and got rid of the
cognitive dissonance through kicking me
down all the time
was one of his favorite things to do so
the personal was the political so when I
hear people in contemporary Western
culture saying all you know you're just
being artistic if you think the person
was political I think they are being
narcissistic because they can't stretch
the imagination to take in historical
context they can't study historical
context they can't see how there was a
structure which led to these particular
outcomes where women were turned into
escape goods for the sake of maintaining
and justifying an unequal political
system a system where men had power and
women did not
well that's just how it goes these days
people cannot understand know once they
can't understand history they can't
understand that they're giving himself
deeper and deeper into the quicksand
even as they believe themselves to be
critiquing it so now that we've had
enough for refreshment break i want to
violent briefly talk about how nurses
can spring the trap has been set for
them if and when they themselves do not
understand how the personal is political
because what analysis will do is they
will look around for a posture or oppose
that they presume to be powerful and
then they will adopt it they'll put it
on as a mantle and they will become that
powerful posture what makes them feel
very strong indeed i encountered a
narcissist who was inclined to something
do it
I don't know he had this information
within him but then I noticed it and the
situation was such that i had stated
that my father would use a very
aggressive
diminutive I terms we know very
condescending put down attitude toward
me on the basis of his need to impose
unequal power relations and as you're
not enough background to that was he had
to cope with his cognitive dissonance
about having been brought up in an
extreme patriarchal society having
committed himself to war for the sake of
an extreme patriarchal society his
brother had died for that cause and he
could not afford to look at things
realistically and say well when am I not
to blame if a liberal society is not
that much to blame and jelly
jennifer is not to blame if you looked
at things in a realistic way his life
doesn't make sense in in the way he
needed it too and that's why i was going
to change the metaphor again a song in
his side
that's why I was a problem so i had to
silence me deny my experience and in a
way
get me out of the picture so I I didn't
cause him any more distressed but I took
away its distress i took away his sense
of diminishment and i refuse that role I
couldn't play anymore because my house
had been very badly damaged and
emotionally I was also pretty badly
damaged
uh-huh so I I ceased to do that as much
as possible but the nurses to waffle
intellectual was somebody I had
respected until then he adopted the lack
of my father began talking to me in this
manner which was very condescending very
much trying to boost my father's
psychological force
and reinforce his his dominance the
political control over me and I found
that that was a very opening for anybody
to do because I'm like somebody who was
brought up in a narcissistic society
within the point of reference of
narcissism I had begun already to
understand a lot of the historical
context for my father's behavior and I
also knew that my father had been very
very damaged indeed so what was intended
by the nicest as a matter of power to
behave as my father had done told me was
viewed by me as oh you're putting on a
mantle somebody very damaged somebody
shot by an actual war that you haven't
actually been in and your documents
extreme patriarchy although you don't
have to historical context so you don't
know why and how you look funny look
like a red nose cloud you don't look
serious to me what are you doing and I
really had to shake my head and monday
because that's not a mantle of power you
just put on you really are very very
much mistaken about that you've made
probably the grossest error in your life
and now you're looking like a an extreme
right winger
moreover and christian fundamentalist
christians what my father was ah you
don't overlook liberal anymore what have
you done so that was that was a pretty
funny thing don't you think

We give you tips and practical tools for how to turn
your dreams into reality
and in this video we're going to be talking about
how to set and keep New Year's resolutions.
Hey Paul! How do you define a New Year's resolution?
I don't know Kevin how do you?
It's something that goes in one year and
out the other!
You're killing me here Kevin!
You know it really doesn't have to be that way.
You really can make resolutions that stick!
Well, I'm listening. Where do you start?
Kevin, I like to start with a review of the last year,
and on the basis of that review I decide
what I'd like to commit to in the following year.
I noticed you used the word "Commit,"
Why?
Kevin, you really need to want it bad enough to make a commitment.
You really need to know the "Why?"
So once you know what you're ready to commit to,
write down all the reasons
why you want to achieve each goal.
Everything we do, we do either to avoid a loss or to
gain a benefit. What benefits will you
gain from achieving this goal and do you
want them badly enough to do the work
required over the long term?
So Kevin, after my yearly review and my goal setting
I break my goals down into quarterly goals,
monthly goals, and weekly goals.
So, for example, if I decide that I want to
lose 20 pounds in the course of a year,
how many pounds so i need to lose in the
next six months?
Ooh! I know! Ten pounds!
You've got it Kevin!
So if you want to lose 10 pounds in the next six months
how many pounds you need to lose
in the next three months?
Five pounds! That seems simple enough!
Correct again Kevin! But you have to
continue the process. So how many pounds
do you have to lose in the next month?
I need my calculator!
Let's call it a pound
and let's give ourselves a little leeway.
How difficult would it be to lose one
pound in a month, or
a quarter of a pound in a week?
Pretty easy, I'd say!
Right! By the yard it's hard...
by the inch it's a cinch!
So, it's important to break your big goals
down into smaller bite-sized chunks.
Exactly!
Then you need to ask:
Where do I need to be at the end of this day,
to be where I want to be at the end of the week,
to be where I want to be at the end of the month,
to be where I want to be at the end of the quarter?
Etc.
Take the time to decide what you need to do to reach your goals!
And make sure that you're not overreaching!
Set yourself up for success.
Then schedule the things you need to do,
your action steps, on your calendar.
You know, Kevin, I like to think of my calendar
as a commitment book
and the commitments that I make myself are
every bit as important as commitments
that I make to other people!
Break them down into smaller chunks
and schedule the things you need to do to make them happen!
Do you know what I think is more important than fulfilling New Year's resolutions?
What's that?
Making sure that you set the right resolutions for you!
How do you do that?
Instead of asking, "What do I want to accomplish or do in the next year?"
ask yourself the question, "Who do I want to become?"
When you start with who you want to be,
you'll find the goals that are right for you
and you'll be much more likely to commit to them!
Do you know one New Year's resolution that would be easy to keep?
Buying Paul Brown's book, Seven Steps to a Life of Significance.
It'll help make sure that the goals
you achieve in the new year bring you a
greater sense of significance!
You can check out the link in the description below!
So what's one New Year's resolution that you have made and kept?
and what are you ready to commit to this year?
