Medicare For All Won't Destroy America – But It'll Hurt Corporate Profits - Duration: 5:20.

If you've been paying attention to any of the Conservative or Right Wing, and even establishment

Democrat talking heads recently, then you are probably aware of the fact that socialism

is creeping into the United States, and that this country is essentially screwed because

of it.

Now, of course, none of that is true.

We're not screwed.

Socialism is not creeping up here in the United States, though it should be.

We just have a few politicians out there right now who are saying those radical things like,

"Hey, maybe we should have Medicare for all, for citizens of the United States.

Maybe a public option that people could buy into, rather than going to a private health

insurance company that's going to rip them off, or deny them coverage based on preexisting

conditions."

That, according to these wealthy elite, is the socialism that's coming to the United

States.

And here's the thing.

Meghan McCain on The View, is one of the leading voices of this anti-socialism movement.

She got all up in arms last week because she was furious about the fact that her grandkids,

her kids may end up having to grow up in a world where everybody is entitled to healthcare.

How horrible would that be for a man whose father can't even remember how many homes

he owns?

I'm sure we all remember that from the 2008 presidential primaries and debates.

John McCain didn't know how many houses he had.

He's so damn rich, he doesn't know.

And the same is true for people like Meghan McCain, born into this obscene amount of wealth

so they have no concept of reality anymore.

All she knows is that she wants to deny everybody else the same privileges that she has had

since the day she was born because her mother has a ton of money.

Socialism does need to creep into the United States.

But the reason we're hearing all of these scaremongering tactics that it's going to

destroy the country, or that it's completely unaffordable, or that it's going to give us

worse care, is because corporations want us to think that.

The health insurance companies, big pharma, all of those companies have a financial stake

in keeping things the way that they are and not improving them.

Because if we were to get a public option, that could open Congress up to be able to

negotiate drug prices with pharmaceutical companies.

Oh, big pharma doesn't want that.

And if we're buying from the government instead of a place like Blue Cross, or Aetna, or any

of the other ones, they're going to lose money because they're not going to get our dollars

anymore.

And to be honest, employers should be pushing for this kind of plan because it takes the

healthcare burden cost off of them and shifts it to the patient, the consumer, the worker,

and the government that they're paying into.

Seems like a pretty decent trade off to me, right.

And yet, here we are, still having to have these discussions about whether or not Medicare

for all, universal healthcare, a public option, whatever you want to refer to it as.

I know they're all different things, but you hear different things all the time about them.

Whatever you want to call it, we're still having to have the discussion about whether

or not it's viable.

And the worst part of the discussion is when these right-wingers and the establishment,

Democrats, like to talk about the cost.

"We just can't afford it."

I mean, how CNN did an analysis of it about a year and a half ago and they said, "It's

going to cost us $1.4 trillion a year to have universal healthcare here in the United States."

Wow.

That is a lot.

$1.4 trillion a year.

If only there was a way to maybe come up with that money, like I don't know, not giving

the wealthy another tax cut.

Boom.

That just paid for universal healthcare in the United States.

Did you know that?

The cost of the tax cut we just gave the wealthy would have paid for universal healthcare.

And of course, it actually would have been a lot cheaper because that cost of universal

healthcare does not count on the fact that every American citizen that is working would

be paying into it.

You want some more money?

Well, how about we not add $70 to $80 billion to an already bloated military budget each

year.

A $770 to $780 billion per year on the military.

We could probably get by without all of that money going to that, and maybe put that instead,

since we've already paid for universal healthcare with the tax cut, remember.

So now, let's take half that military budget and make debt-free college.

Oh, look.

Everything stays the same, nobody gets screwed out of anything, and everything is paid for

without us having to pony up any extra dollars if we didn't want to.

That's what these people are saying.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Those are the ideas she's putting forward.

Bernie Sanders and so many others all throughout this country, those are the ideas they want

to implement.

Not tax us to hell and back so we could pay for all these socialistic ideas.

Just maybe not give money to the wealthy elite, not continue to feed the military industrial

complex, and if we do those two things, or should I say, stop doing those two things,

we can easily pay for these programs that are going to make the lives of millions upon

millions of American citizens so much better.

Pence Says White House LOVES The Free Press, But Only If They Stay Silent - Duration: 4:21.

This past weekend, Mike Pence appeared on Fox News with host Maria Bartiromo, where

she asked him about the incident earlier this past week where a CNN reporter was removed

from a pool spray and then informed that she couldn't come back for an event later in the

day.

They basically banned her for the day.

This is what Mike Pence had to say about that reporter being banned.

I'm going to ask you about access to you and the President and this White House, was it

necessary to throw out Kaitlan Collins from CNN the other day?

What happened?

Well, let me say that this administration believes in the freedom of the press, and

President Trump and I and our entire administration have provided extraordinary access to the

media.

The President answers so many questions in so many different settings, and I can assure

you that we'll continue to do that.

But maintaining the decorum that is due at the White House, I think is an issue that

we'll continue to work for.

But I'm very confidence that, whether it be with that network or any network or any members

of the media, that we'll continue to work in a way that ensures the access of the American

people to this administration and to all the incredible progress we're making.

Yeah, this administration loves free speech, they love the freedom of the press.

They have a great relationship with the press, just so long as they stay silent, they don't

ask any difficult questions, they don't do their jobs, and they just shut up and smile

and maybe laugh whenever the President says something intentionally humorous.

That is the press that Mike Pence wants to see in the country, but that is not the press

that the First Amendment guaranteed us.

We are allowed, as members of the media, as a public, to get information from this administration.

Not to mention the fact that Pence is flat out lying, not only about what happened when

the reporter was banned, but too about the openness of this administration.

We have gone months at this point without any kind of press conference from the Pentagon,

so we don't know what the hell the military's doing.

They have forbidden other government agencies, Parks, EPA, Interior Department, from actually

being able to give interviews to the press.

They're not allowed to anymore, unless they get it pre-approved by a higher up in the

administration.

Whereas in the past, they get asked to do an interview, they could just do it.

This administration is more shut off than other administration, at least in my lifetime.

But let's get back to Pence's claim here, that she was being uncivil.

She wasn't recognizing the decorum of the White House.

First and foremost, that's not true.

Every reporter that was in that room admits that, no, she wasn't out of line, she wasn't

yelling.

And if she was, it's only because all of the other reporters were also yelling questions.

She did not do anything out of line, did not break any rules, was not becoming uncivil,

they just didn't like what she had to say.

So, are we going to take the word of the reporters that were in the room with him, or are we

going to take the word of a guy like Mike Pence, who believes that Donald Trump is the

most honest person to ever walk the face of the earth?

I'm going to go with reporters on this.

Yeah, I know they're corporate media and most of them are probably pretty bad, but still,

they have just a little bit more credibility at this point than a guy like Mike Pence,

when every other word that he said in that interview was an absolute lie.

But that's what Mike Pence does.

He lies, he covers up, he tries to misdirect things and say, "No, we love the press, as

long as they observe the decorum of the White House."

Decorum that I'm pretty sure kind of went out the window 20-30 years ago, at this point.

Yeah, that once was a haloed office, where only the best and brightest of this country

ever got to see the inside.

But decades ago, all that changed, right?

The White House isn't as prestigious as it used to be.

You know, we've had some pretty disgusting scum bags coming in and out of that place,

and I think the day that Kid Rock stepped foot in that oval office, yeah, that pretty

much killed any kind of decorum or sense of class that the oval office actually had.

MEDIA TRY TO IMPEACH TRUMP BUT THIS COULD RUIN HER FOR GOOD

The so-called "mainstream" media thought they finally nailed Donald Trump.

When it was revealed that Trump's attorney Michael Cohen would be willing to testify

against the President to Robert Mueller, journalists finally thought the smoking gun had emerged

that would lead to Trump's impeachment.

But the smoking gun backfired and the media ended up with egg all over their faces.

The June 2016 Trump Tower meeting between Donald Trump Jr. and a group of Russians is

the closest thing the media and anti-Trump investigators have to "collusion."

Trump Jr. took the meeting after a music producer he knew emailed him that a Russian lawyer

wanted to meet to discuss dirt she had on Hillary Clinton and that it was part of the

Russian government's plan to help Trump in the election.

This turned out to be a complete 'nothing burger' when it was revealed that no information

about Clinton changed hands and that the true purpose of the meeting was to lobby the Trump

campaign on supporting the repeal of the Magnitsky Act – which leveled sanctions against Russian

adoptions over human rights abuses.

All the participants in the meeting testified to the Senate Intelligence Committee the meeting

had nothing to do with collusion or the Russian government.

Trump Jr. also testified that Donald Trump had no advance knowledge of the meeting.

But now Michael Cohen is threatening to upset the apple cart.

Cohen is under intense legal pressure after the FBI raided his home and office in April.

Experts believe he could be indicted on campaign finance violations or because of his involvement

in a taxi cab medallion business.

Cohen is now sending out word through the media that he is willing to spill his guts

to Robert Mueller.

And Cohen is willing to specifically allege that Donald Trump knew of the Trump Tower

meeting in advance.

Journalists' hearts began to race because they thought they finally found the testimony

that would bring down Trump.

There is just one problem with Cohen's allegations – they are false.

When Cohen testified behind closed doors to the Senate Intelligence Committee, Cohen stated

that Donald Trump did not know about the meeting.

And after Donald Trump Jr. also testified about the meeting, Cohen tweeted that Trump

Jr. was honest and transparent.

Even RINO Senator Lindsey Graham – who is no fan of the President – said Cohen's

claims were suspect stating "I am tired of having President Trump tried in the media.

This is the oddest way to communicate with Mueller, to leak a story to NBC News that

you got some new information about the Russia meeting regarding President Trump.

I've been a lawyer all my adult life, I've never seen that work.

That's a media strategy.

So I know what Cohen had said in the past about President Trump not knowing anything

about this meeting.

He is on the record Cohen is.

So if you have got something new to say don't leak it to NBC News you need to come to either

the Judiciary Committee, the Intel Committee or both and be willing to say what you are

going to say under oath.

And to every American, if I were you, I would be very suspicious of Michael Cohen right

now."

The weekend began with the media giddy over a possible smoking gun that would prove Trump

colluded with the Russians and that Congress should impeach him.

But like all the other supposed "bombshells" – this one fizzled out and the media was

left fuming that their plan to force the President from office had failed yet again.

"  Princess Charlotte is only three, which means she's still exempt from this part of royal family life - for now anyway

 However she'll have to get her curtsy ready for when she turns five, and it will be the same for baby Louis

 But Charlotte has already given us a sneak preview of her royal curtsy, as she decided to give it go during the family's royal tour of Poland last year
