Youtube daily so Jan 25 2018

hi just quickly I'd really appreciate if you could leave a like on this video

and if you could subscribe I really would appreciate that thank you

welcome to entrepreneur news I'm your host the one and only the true Alex Jay

today we're gonna be answering the question why are there so many mattress

stores in America? I know there was a lot of people on reddit asking this question

and why there's so many mattress stores if you've ever been to America you'll

notice that there seems to be mattress stores everywhere but there is actually

a reason behind this and I really do want to dive into it so this story

actually starts someone on reddit said why there's so many mattress stores in

America and what they did was they then posted a picture and I'll show this

picture here and you can see there seems to be a lot of mattress stores in one

place on Tuesday a Reddit comment that suggests mattress firms were laundering

money went viral before being removed reddit users said that the company is

over stored in the US and suggests that this was a sign of something more

dubious going on the mattress firm has responded to Business Insider about the

allegations saying that they're absolutely full I was doing a bit of

research into this because this conspiracy theory just went rampant

everyone was saying you know I've seen loads of mattress stores where I live as

well you know there's like five on the corner and people were talking about you

know there's stores on the opposite sides of the road and they can literally

wave at each other but there's so many of them they can't be that many people

purchasing mattresses so let me go into the side of the conspiracy theory and

then I'll explain the logic behind it in a minute so the conspiracy theorists and

believe me when I first read it I was kind of siding with them for a moment I

thought you know this kind of is weird the whole concept was the fact that

there's so many stores and people don't buy that many mattresses right so a

mattress you typically buy one every 10 years but there seems to be more

mattress stores than Starbucks but obviously Starbucks people buying them

every single day a mattress you know there's some stores that would be empty

and you can't imagine people buying them every day it seems like a

disproportionate amount of supply and demand it just seems like there's so

many so much supply but there's not enough demand for the mattresses and

then obviously there's a lot where they're really close together as you can

see in that picture where you can see this one has loads of mattress stores

I'm all sprinkled around each other so it does seem really weird when you

look at it from that angle it does seem really weird you know people aren't

buying that many mattresses right surely if he doesn't make sense you're not

making it ourselves how are they keeping these doors open how are they

in more stores so then I went and I did some research and this is what I found

out 320 3.1 million people in the US so that's quite a lot of people in America

firstly secondly the average mattress people have them for seven years on

average so every seven years you tend to buy another one okay and so keeping that

in mind there's three hundred and twenty three million people and you tend to buy

a mattress every seven years now I then did a bit more digging and I was like

well how many mattresses were sold last year and I found out that the number of

mattresses sold last year it was thirty-five million nine hundred

thousand so thirty five point nine million so that there's quite a lot of

mattresses sold and how many mattress stores are there or there's actually

nine thousand now that sounds like a lot and that's because it is in comparison

to Starbucks Starbucks only has eight thousand two hundred and twenty two

stores comparing the mattress stores where there's nine thousand so they've

even got more mattress stores than the Starbucks which seems really suspicious

because you know people aren't buying that many right but again remember how

many people there are in America if you actually put the amount of people in

America at three hundred and twenty three million and then divide that by

how many were sold last year I'm up at 0.1 percent it sounds like there's quite

a lot of stores and everything but actually there was only 0.1 percent of

Americans purchased a mattress last year but 35 million being sold and there's

only nine thousand stores clean not a bad ratio because if you sold 35 million

and nine hundred thousand and you divide that by the amount of stores there are

which is nine thousand you actually work out with at three thousand nine hundred

eighty a sales per store which obviously isn't the case there's obviously some

where they're selling way more than others it means that the stores are

actually really profitable and if anything there's not enough of them

which is a kind of ironic thing that I found out through this research is it

seems that that's actually not enough mattress stores which blew my mind so we

can think about because I genuinely thought you know there's too many when

you read this reddit thread it seems like there's too many value there's no

not so then go one step further and there's 600 editing companies in America

and so obviously there's quite a lot of people that are competing in that space

and then the annual sales revenue is one point three eight billion dollars in

America which again is a huge amount of profit so again it comes down to this

900 markup the mattresses also have

mattresses are extremely profitable they mop them are exponentially if you want

to put in comparison to diamonds diamonds are marked up by 200% wet

mattress is a month up by nine hundred percent which is huge which is why

there's been a shift and some companies have started selling mattresses online I

won't name any company names come not being sponsored but there are mattress

companies online where they'll send you a mattress and you get to try it for

like ten months or something and risk-free and you don't like it you can

send it back and they'll send you a replacement but obviously they can

afford to do that because again the markups are absolutely astronomical

again if anything there's not enough of these stores what I thought was really

funny was there's a mattress firm in America that has actually responded to

this and they put this hilarious Twitter thing which is right here and this is

their response they're saying you know looking at our mentions like they're all

confusing why has so many people think that were in money laundering and

there's people like I'll read some of the comments and I'll put the comments

here as well so someone says hey nice try and Mattress Firm aka Illuminati aka

drug front aka Freemasons a kay lizard people okay

Bilderberg Group a K money launderers aka Girl Scouts of America okay secret

government cover-up also you guys hiring and what I loved was the fact that they

actually replied and they were like do you like jumpsuits and then she was like

yeah or khakis like do you like khakis and she's like yeah I love khakis then

there was another one it says it's 100% obvious they're a secret agency firm for

the government they're basically the real men in black and then there's

another persons and I wear on to umf I mean is is hilarious because again if

you look at it mathematically it makes sense i it takes two minutes to give

with this it didn't take me a long time to sit and research this all I did was

find out how many people there were in America I find out how many was sold how

many stores there were and I just did a calculation I was like oh wow

actually it's like the reverse it seems that there's not actually enough so yeah

I completely understand where the theory come from I'd love to hear from you guys

what your opinion is do you think that it could be a money laundering front or

do you you know go with the logic that I've just walked you through and showing

you that it's actually just a really profitable business model something that

I would recommend to people now I've looked at the numbers

I would say hey look if you can open a mattress store maybe you should because

it turns out these things turn profit now not all of them make money don't get

me wrong I was reading I again through my research I found out that there's

some companies that do lose money and with their mattress stores again it

could just be placement and where they are it could be the advertising could be

the location I mean there's so many different reasons that they might not

produce a profit but it doesn't seem that difficult to make profit ok so

here's another thing I found out is that mattresses that cost more than $1000

typically have even bigger markups as high as 1,200 percent or more they then

go on to explain that you know you could they could sell something that costs a

$1,200 but it might only cost them 300 dollars to make so obviously the profit

is absolutely astronomical is huge on these things which again is crazy and

the average markup on coffee is about 80% so again you can see the difference

between the two so so all it seems to come down to is just basic economics

it's just there's a huge demand and there's actually not enough supply

ironically people also like to buy a mattress in real life they don't

typically want to buy a mattress online because if you go into an online website

and you read about a bed you can read the bed and you can say you know the

pictures look great the description is great however I want to feel it right

because it's going to be something that you're gonna be sleeping on every single

night so you want to make sure that it's a good mattress now the only way that

you can do that is actually going and laying on it yourself so that's why

mattress stores don't typically disappear because with most businesses

they can vanish online race if you're gonna buy like a cup or you're gonna buy

a computer or whatever it you don't really need to go in and feel it it

doesn't really make any difference but if you select furniture or a bed is

something that you're gonna want to feel like you can see it looks great but it's

how it feels is the reason that you purchase it so again that could be

another reason as well and that these stores are still doing so well is

because again the demand is really high it's something that you need to feel so

another thing as well is that the people that work inside these stores tend to

get a lot of commission so obviously it's their intention to make sure that

they sell and the mattresses as well they seem to make a lot of the majority

of their money from sales which means obviously they're gonna be trying to

generate as much revenue as they can again meaning that their base the actual

salary might be really small the Commission

be really highest that they need to turn out a few sofas maybe they don't even

need that many I don't know anyone from any sofa company so I can't really tell

you the numbers but I'm guessing it can't really be that many that they need

to sell every month maybe fifteen to thirty a month I I don't really think it

would be that many you also have to think about as when people move when

people move houses when people move cities which happens every single day

otherwise moving companies and you know wouldn't make much money when people

move they tend to get a new mattress when they move how and because they

don't really want to bring it with them unless they're moving back in with their

parents that could be the exception to the rule but typically when you move

into a new house you tend to get a new mattress as well you're like you know

I'll move in and might as well get a new one the same time so just to recap

there's quite a lot of reasons why there are so many mattress stores again it

comes down to how many people are in America how often people buy mattress is

typically every seven years - that fluctuates up and down depending on the

economy when people are moving they're buying mattress is the markup is very

high so that's another reason why there are so many stores they obviously the

staff inside there are typically on Commission so they need to be getting

sales and a regular basis so those are the reasons that is why there are so

many mattress stores in America I hope you enjoyed this video please make sure

So we started this vlog | Day in the Life at SDState - Duration: 10:45.

Morning, Jacob. Morning.

Good morning, guys. So today, I've got a little bit of a special

project. I'm gonna let you guys follow me around as a college kid at SDSU. So I

don't have class until 10:00, but right now it's 9:00 in the morning. We're gonna

go ahead get some breakfast before class 'cause I'm starving.

Without further ado, let's get to it.

One thing that I miss about high school is that they actually tell you what your homework is,

instead of just putting it online and expecting you to know everything.

This man right here, he's... he's figured out college in his first week of the semester.

What's on the menu today, Deit'? You know, we're gonna go get some

grub at the Larson Commons, and then we're gonna go to class, sleep a little

bit. As you can tell, it's a little nicer here in South Dakota today. About eight

degrees this morning. I'm out here chilling in a long-sleeve, he's

wearing a sweater. Yeah He's wearing a sweater.

Hello. Hello! Morning.

Okay, so this is Larson Commons, where we get all our good grub.

I would film more, but there's a lot of people

who have never seen a camera in their life, so I'm just getting a lot of stares.

Yep, just gonna eat this, go to class, get on with the day.

How do you guys feel about that? You know, you just gotta

live and you learn, you know. You can't judge a book by its cover.

Okay, good talk, Dietrick.

Life in college. Right here.

Hello. Hello.

Alrighty, thank you! Have a great day.

Now a little disclaimer about class, don't think I'm gonna film much because it's just weird.

That's about it. So I'm just gonna sit there for an hour, and then after that go to

the Wellness Center. So I'll check in with you guys after that. Got out of

class. About to kill this pre-workout and get started.

So we're at the SDSU Wellness Center.

We try to spend at least an hour or maybe two here per day. Let's get to it.

All right. A lot of caffeine right now. That's all I wanna say.

MT... MDV Cribs, check out this. I messed that up. Look in my crib.

Schultz 206 guys. The place to be, thanks to my buddies Braden

and Jack. What'd good y'all? This man right here,

mister president of Lambda Chi.

Lambda Chi, join... I don't know what to say.

We about it, we about it here at Lambda Chi.

Yeah, it's great. It's a good time. Join us. It's brotherhood for life.

Joe, what do you think about Lambda Chi? Rush Lambda. Yeah, is that about it?

That's about it. Okay. It's a good time. Thanks guys.

So, if you need any questions of Greek Life,

hit this guy up right here. I try my best.

As you can tell, putting the work in.

SDSU League of Legends team, baby. Check it out.

We're 10-0 right now, leading the school to victory here. We out here.

Take me home to the place I belong. West Virginia,

So this is pretty much leisure time in college.

Lots of Xbox, lots of caffeine. Dude, I have a problem, like, it's actually bad. I

feel like, like I'm, it's bad, like coffee is like maybe like two or three cups.

It's not good. No, it's not good at all. But you gotta stay alive somehow, right?

But you do a lot in college, and you run on like caffeine, you just learn to

kind of adapt with no sleep. For real. I think it's a good time.

Today is not really that average of a day, I guess, 'cause my lab got cancelled. So like,

I have a three hour gap today, so that's why I have so much downtown right now.

Like, normally I have a lab, I have class from 9:00 to 10:00... What lab do you have?

News Writing, so... Wow, that's a lab? Yeah. You geo tomorrow. Anyways... I'm gonna die. Anyways.

Today I was supposed to have class from 9:00 to 10:00, lab from 11:00 to like 1:00, it's a two hour lab,

lab and then like class from 2:00 to 3:00, 3:00 to 4:00, but right now I just

have a lot of downtime. So gonna go get some lunch in the Union after this

around 1:00 or so. That's pretty much the day.

Lunchtime, boys.

Okay, folks.

Today, for lunch we're at the Student Union.

As you can see, you got plenty of choices of restaurants. Three of the main ones being

Chick-fil-A, Panda Express and Extreme Pita. They aight, but you know... Extreme Pita's

not bad. It's not Subway. Subway would be awesome. I

mean Herbs and Gerbs is still pretty good, but that's in Larson. Anyway, in the Union you got these

little things, right? They're student IDs. Got flex on it. It's pretty lit,

because I have money on that, and I can just buy a lunch with it every day, so

that's how I survive here in college.

Chick-fil-A, grilled chicken sandwich.

I'm eating bro. C'mon. Ryan's older sister got a puppy. Yeah, it's so cute.

This is me. How do I turn this around? This is me vlogging. This is my mouth.

This is all my friends eating because I like to videotape weird things like Keanu.

Whoa, don't judge when I'm looking at!

Gi-gg-ty.

So this is pretty much the friend group. We're a bunch of...

Um, we do like to have a really good time with each other, we're really nice to each other, we love each other so much.

We have a really bad sense of humor though. Well, some of these people do. I'm known as the funny guy, you know? Yeah, you're right.

Oh my gosh, I'm just done.

He closes in on his prey. He looks closely at the camera, and he goes welcome to National Geographic.

See you, bro. It's time to grind. I think it's time for me to dip out too. I have class at 2:00.

Bye, see you later.

It's four o'clock, class is over today, went to the gym already and it's my off

day from the office. Literally have an hour until dinner to do whatever I want.

Probably just get some b-roll shots and stuff, some time lapses for the video, and

then I'll get on with the rest of my night.

Hey guys, this is Hailey. She's my new coworker, actually. Yeah, we share a

cubicle, I guess, so... cubicle mates! Hey!

*Bumps into emergency exit. Alarm sounds.*

Hi! How's your day going? Great! I haven't seen you in a while. Oh I know, it's been a few days. Guys, this is Amilla. Hi!

Okay. I like ham actually. At least somebody knows. Speaking of...

I'm the pill man. I give Keanu potassium pills for his cramps.

This is the dinn' crew. We're getting dinn', and then I'm probably going back to my dorm

to edit, to edit for like the rest of the night because I have a lot of stuff to edit.

Every Wednesday there's birthday cake here at Larson Commons, and it just

tastes pretty good. One of the highlights of my... well, it's the highlight of my

night, basically. It's really good cake.

Ow!

Now, I know I definitely did not hit like all the small things in this video,

but if you have any questions, yeah, just go ahead, drop them in the comments. Check out

the SDSU channel. Subscribe to mine, because I'm definitely willing to answer

a lot of questions, 'cause college really is scary at first when transitioning in,

but, you know, find your group of friends, stick with them, it makes it a lot

easier, guys. That being said, I hope I see you guys in the future. Thanks for

watching, and see you later.

HaeSun, "It was hard to slap Kim TaeHee because she was so pretty T.T" [Happy Together/2018.01.18] - Duration: 8:01.

Happy to be together on Happy Together!

(Reunited)

(Long time no see)

Good to see you.

Hyunmoo, you look a lot better.

(He looks a lot better)

Congratulations.

Your nickname is Jeon Grand Prize.

The caption said "Jeon Hyunmoo," which is wrong.

Please refer to me as Jeon Grand Prize.

When he was giving his acceptance speech

I saw such an ambitious look in his eyes.

I saw it on TV.

That was the scariest he's looked.

Hyunmoo's eyes...

There's this look Myungsoo gets before being awarded.

Myungsoo was really surprised that

Hyunmoo got the grand prize that day.

I was sitting next to Myungsoo that day.

When they announced him as runner-up

he looked a bit disappointed. Just a bit.

Let's congratulate Hyunmoo again.

Hyunmoo deserved the grand prize.

- It's a good thing for our show. / - Of course.

KBS has yet to have their award show.

It'll probably be this year.

And you can win the grand prize again, Jaeseok.

Rather than winning it again...

It's going to you anyway.

I hope Happy Together does well this year

and the show wins the best program award.

I heard Hyunmoo has his eye on the KBS prize.

I want to win the grand prize for this show.

After winning one, I think I'm obsessed.

It's like the One Ring.

That's remarkable and all...

Saeho got on a great show.

"Infinite Challenge"!

(Deeply moved)

Saeho! Happy Together or "Infinite Challenge"?

1, 2, 3.

(Which show will he choose?)

Honestly, it's Happy Together because...

(Very pressured)

(He doesn't know what to say)

(He can't give a quick answer)

He mentioned Happy Together

but our staff members don't look too pleased.

We have news about Hyunkyung too.

- She's a sitcom goddess. / - She really is.

She was the only one to go to jail during the break.

I went to jail.

Yes, I was in for a bit.

Let's all work hard on Happy Together

so that we can all have big smiles

at the end of 2018.

At the end of this year, I want everyone there

at the Happy Together table.

- You just have to show up. / - Oh, really?

Don't be late.

Don't book any gigs for me in the winter.

Our guests today are quite hot too.

Hyunmoo, please introduce them.

To be with these guests, I'd sit in the fires of hell.

You know the hit movie "Along With the Gods"?

We'll be with goddesses.

Oh, goddesses.

Only a grand prize winner can make a pun like that.

That line was obviously intentional.

I'm sorry.

It's all downhill after winning the grand prize.

I could win the grand prize with jokes like that.

There's a curse.

Be careful the day after you win an award.

I've lowered the bar. You all should try to win now.

So let's bring in our goddess guests!

Hello.

Kim Sejeong!

(Welcome)

Hello.

From musical goddess

to reliable TV drama goddess.

A charismatic actress that plays professional roles,

but she's quite the klutz in real life.

You can't help but love her. It's Bae Haesun!

Hello.

She has an amazing figure.

Is this body for real?

She became a star through dieting.

The goddess of dieting! Lee Sookyung!

- Hello. / - Sookyung!

She has an innocent look but she's a girl crush.

She's spirited and energetic.

The passionate goddess! Han Boreum!

She can sing, dance and act.

The all-around entertainer goddess! Kim Sejeong!

We have four goddesses with us today.

Haesun, this is your first time on our show.

Every drama you've been in

has been successful.

You're quite the scene-stealer.

You played a DA in "While You Were Sleeping."

A doctor in "Don't Dare to Dream." (Source: SBS)

A nurse in "Yongpal."

An acupuncturist in "Man Who Dies to Live."

- A judge on "Judge vs. Judge." / - So that was you.

Someone said I should play the first lady next,

but now they might want a female president.

I'm sure there are other professions I could portray,

but because of my voice and the way I talk...

You sound trustworthy.

Some people two-thirds of their life eating.

- She spends time looking for things. / - Really?

I ended up playing a lot of professional roles.

But I'm a bit of a klutz.

So I was very hesitant at first.

Once you get to know me, those roles don't suit me.

I saw her backstage.

She's like a little girl.

She seems like she'd giggle if she saw a balloon.

- Really? / - Yes.

You're so beautiful.

I never get to see celebrities from up close.

Why are you like that?

I'm very nervous now.

But you guys are taking the lead, so I'm having fun.

Do you daydream a lot?

We could laugh too if we knew what you're thinking.

You must think things to yourself a lot.

I see you all on TV often but to see you up close...

It feels like you all got closer to me.

I bet Saeho feels a bit too close.

You do too.

(Big)

Do you think you changed after you won the award?

You look the same!

You slapped Kim Taehee in "Yongpal."

She had to act like she's asleep. (Source: SBS)

She didn't seem human.

She was like this perfect doll.

I couldn't bring myself to hit her.

So you wanted to end it in one take.

I told Taehee I was concerned.

She said it was okay and that I should relax.

So I figured it would be best to get it

in one take than do several takes.

So I slapped her hard and that was the scene.

In one take.

But she had to act like she was asleep.

She could've flinched.

She could've and that would've ruined the shot.

Yet she didn't move at all.

- That's not easy. / - It's really hard.

What if she was passed out?

- It's acting but... / - Want me to show you?

Can you really? Go ahead.

If there's anyone you want to act with, Haesun...

Can I go first?

Why are we always getting slapped on this show?

Someone's always getting slapped.

I got slapped at least 6 times last year.

You can't slap me out of the blue.

Show us a demonstration.

We get slapped around 6 to 7 times a year.

Is it a segment on this show?

I even got kicked in the head last year.

Saeho, you go first.

Me? For scenes like this...

(Drama "Sepal")

You're my doll.

Did you have a nice day today?

(Slap)

(The sound of the slap echoed)

(His soul has left him)

(Saeho did a good job)

(At being slapped)

(We applaud them both for their acting)

I saw your cheek jiggle.

Valentine's Day Hack You've Probably Never Seen Before. It's so simple! - Duration: 1:51.

- Hello everyone, Adam Trigg here.

Today I'm gonna teach you a little Valentine's Day hack.

There's a hack for everything,

computer hacks,

biohacks,

fashion hacks,

health hacks,

fitness hacks.

(forced exhaling)

(???)

Today's hack is all about crafting that perfect

Valentine's Day card for that special someone.

The first step, you're gonna head to a store

that has greeting cards.

One of my favorites is the classic Hallmark.

Before you go into the store, make sure

that you have a pen with you.

Head over to the vast expanse

of Valentine's Day cards everywhere.

Take your time, make sure you find

the right card that you like.

All right, so this next step is where the hack

comes into play, but before I teach it, I actually

have to confess that I might have some haters after this.

But, some of us need help with words, gosh.

You're gonna find a second card that looks like it has

a lot of words on it, maybe something kinda romantic.

Take the two cards and find a little area

where you can do a little bit of writing.

'Cause what you're gonna do is open up the first card,

and then you're gonna look at the second card

with all the romantic writing on it,

and then you're just gonna kinda get some advice

from the second card and write it into the first card.

I'm not suggesting that you like

plagiarize or copy or whatever.

Pfffffft

And make sure to mix it up a little bit

because if your special someone's anything like my wife,

she knows that I'm not Shakespeare.

I'm gonna get so hated for this.

Hopefully this Valentine's Day, your special someone

gets to enjoy an amazing love letter or greeting card,

and just make sure that they never, ever see this video.

Thank you so much for watching.

Like the video and make sure to share

with some of your friends that need

a little bit of help with some words.

And make sure to follow me on social @sotriggy.

An Arab guy in a Russian submarine! SO SCARY! - Duration: 5:13.

From the most terrifying place.

Hi my friends. I apologize for the long absence, I've been very busy in the last few weeks.

A new adventure. Today we will discover a new place in the city of Hamburg. Russian Submarine Museum.

The famous Soviet submarine

I will walk around the streets to show you some of the sights of the city

Before we start the journey make sure that you press the Like button

As I remember, the last time I had a bicycle was 10 years ago.

Cycling in our culture is shameful and childish. Besides, the geography of our country does not help the bicycle.

We do not have bicycle paths.

But believe me! cycling is not a shame. We should fight this culture.

Ride your bike to keep your health and the environment.

Tell me guys, do you suffer from the culture of shame in your countries?

For example, is it shameful to ride a bike in your societies?

Write it down in the comments, and let's respect each other so we can all benefit from this discussion.

I bought a ticket. It is € 6 for students and 9 for other visitors.

There is a discount for all Hamburg transport card holders.

I hope that all the weapons of the world become museums furniture.

This submarine entered service in 1976, during the rule of the Soviet Union.

It was moved to the port of Hamburg in 2002 and later became a museum.

The submarine was used for logistical purposes,

such as transporting fuel, carrying out scientific research, and espionage.

Here the Russian submarine leaders were holding their meetings.

It's really scary, I came here alone, I did not expect it to be empty.

It's a scary feeling

Here the Russian soldiers were sleeping.

There are many rooms in these corridors,

Bed rooms, meeting rooms, and rooms used for other purposes.

It seems like I will regret that I came alone. Watch here for example,

These mannequins are frightening you when you walk between the rooms

There is a terrifying sound, do you hear it?

I think the place does not need these sounds, it's scary without them anyway.

I finally came out of this terrible submarine.

My tour is over for today. I hope you enjoyed it, and my other videos as well.

Tell me your opinion and comments in the comment box.

Always smile, and do not lose hope. I hope your dreams come true soon. Bye

NICE GUY SYNDROME (ain't so bad) Nice Guy Tools For Dating Sex & Relationships Steve Mayeda TSLP 199 - Duration: 7:08.

ah

this what this is about nice guys nice guys check this out there's nothing

wrong with being a nice guy by this book is by my friend Terrence you can get on

Amazon but what this is about is about making the distinction of when were

being nice as an expression of humanity and who we are and when were being nice

to suppress ourselves so that we get what we want because we don't think

we're good enough that's today's podcast

what's happening guys Steve Mayeda here we got a little bit of dating advice for you

okay from our Sunday call it's actually Monday as Martin Luther King Day so

January's the 16th of 2018 and we were talking about the nice guy and there's a

lot of stuff on this nice guy friendzone all these sorts of things that come into

play and our perspective on this is wrong

and one of the reasons why I want to to bring this up is because we hear so much

that women don't like nice guys or they like nice guys but they'll never date or

never sleep with or never have sex with somebody who's a nice guy and there's a

lot of truth to this I mean obviously you can see this in the real world if

you're a nice guy you know exactly what this means it means that you're at home

alone a lot of the times and it just ain't good and man I shouldn't be

smiling but an interesting thing is is that we were talking about is that if

you learn to only be a bad boy only be you know that tough guy that dickhead

got a guy who stands up for himself in all the ways that you as a nice guy may

not you become a dirtbag and behind every great man there's a balance of

when he needs to know how to be nice and how to be hard how to use his

masculinity so that it doesn't need to fit an image of somebody else so that it

doesn't always need to follow a script of how he's supposed to be and see

that's the beauty and the choice of decision that's that's the phenomenon

that we have that is so great that when we can be a man and decide how to use

our tools of masculinity that's our true freedom that's our true freedom that's

what we need to be striving for and so how do we do this

you know you as a nice guy use somebody how do you start dating women how do you

start getting to be somebody that's respected in those ways and the fact of

the matter is it's a long journey it's gonna take you nine months gonna take

you a year you got to work with a great group of guys great coaching team all

that sort of stuff but here's the interest

thing about it is that technically you're probably just a few steps away

technically you only need to learn how to stand up for yourself probably in the

beginning of meeting somebody to show that a few times you don't need to take

away from your nice kindness because it's a great asset you're just using it

you're using it wrong and then throughout you know your interactions

and so on you're gonna need to learn how to you know technically stand up for

yourself throughout the relationship but the real issue comes down to not just

those technical points which everybody wants to learn but it's the beliefs it's

what you think it's how you act when you don't get what you want it's how you act

when she doesn't give you enough attention it's how you act when you

think she's leaving you it's how you act when you're not feeling as confident as

you'd like to as a man is that you stop being nice you start playing to them you

start playing to her you start chasing you start doing all these things you

start saying that I'm a friend you stop saying that

hey this is the relationship I want and instead of that we can do the

relationship that you want I'm sorry you start saying things like that because

see that's the thing is that we set ourselves up through our beliefs our

thoughts and they take a long long time to rework and how does that happen

through experience and action and when we work experience in action we can

change our beliefs truly truly a tough thing so guys if you're a nice guy what

you got to do it sure yeah get some edge you got to get that but if you ever

think that that's the thing which makes it man you lose because remember behind

every great man behind every great man every great man in relationships every

great lover every great playboy all these different

things there's a man who knows the balance and how to use his tools when to

be hard when to be soft and be nice is a great thing behind

every man that just learned how to be a bad boy he ends up becoming a dirtbag

and who wants that look guys if you're into this this actually comes a lot from

a guy on our calls Terrance Terrance Terry you wrote a book called militant

nice guy it's kind of like a reply to the no more mr. nice guy booklets ever

so popular and has a lot of great stuff in it but Terrance is somebody that is a

true genius when it comes to how to develop yourself as a man he's a huge

part of our calls anybody who's on the men's development excellence program or

the TSL online program knows how vitally important and badass Terrence is so

check out his book I'll put a link in the description below it's all about

being a militant nice guy and learning how to exercise who you are as a man in

any case thanks so much for watching I appreciate you guys definitely take some

time to check out the daily awesome channel that's a different channel and

putting a lot of good stuff up there so talk to you guys soon happy 2018 and my

kiss for 16 days in have a good one later

(ENG SUB)The best gift for the iKONIC! You've waited so long!! iKON - LOVE SCENARIO MV reaction - Duration: 6:50.

Hello everyone!!!

This is GoToe speaking~!

Today we

will see the MV of the iKON

who came back in 2 years

The best strength of the iKON is

when we think about the idol

each idol group has their own image

But in case of the iKON

they played tough songs like Bling Bling or Dumb&Dumber

But after that

they also played soft songs like My type or AIRPLANE

They played totally opposite songs repeatedly

Normally every idol group changed their concept

if released many albums

Even iKON debuted in 2015.09.15

It is really interesting that iKON handled many concepts

When I heard this title song LOVE SCENARIO

It looks like very quite song

First we need to listen it first

and we will talk about it later

Let's start it :)

(Perfect introduction)

Rhythm is really familiar to me

It is really....

It looks like really iKON song....

(What does he said..?)

It is really good...

(Personally I really like BOBBY's rap)

This song is much more active than I thought

It is better to me

(I don't know about my tongue)

And also iKON is

when they do the emotional song

Their music chart grade was better

than tough song

I really like tough songs of iKON

like BLING BLING or B-DAY

That is my personal taste

Ans also personally

I really like BOOBY's voice

That is really awesome...

Especially I love HOLUP!

MV is normal

It doesn't have any story

This song is really looks like iKON song

?????

Do you feel it????

Typical

Typical... emotion

Typical emotional song of the iKON

This song is really comfortable

This concept is much more popular to the public in Korea

So they made this concept song this time I think

This rhythm is so toxic

Yeah we saw the iKON 2nd album

title song 'LOVE SCENARIO'

My personal feeling of this song is

When we think about iKON's emotional song

exactly that feeling!

Good to say

It really express the colo of the iKON well

Everyone can know this song is iKON song

What I thought when I listened 1st part

I thought the song 'I LOVE YOU' of BOBBY

The mood of the song is really similar with this song

Imagine it when you lying on your bad at night

with small and dark light

that is the best situation to listen this song

So comfortable song

As I told it before,

normally after idol group released many albums

They changed their concept to change image

Normally in this situation

when we think about the quality of that songs

Of course every songs are perfect to their fans

But when we see that song in objective position

I didn't thought quality of each songs were high

(I just thought that was like.. a bonus song)

But in case of the iKON

Their emotional songs have

really high quality

Of course iKON's typical song is

MY TYPE, right??

When iKON do the emotional songs

every songs have really high quality

All of the songs are really 'Good' song

Anyway iKON came back with their 2nd album

in 2 years

I think it is really good news to the iKONIC

Because it is the early season of the 2018

Come back issue of the idol is not often

In this situation, iKON was back

with their new album~!!!

It is really thankful to me

I will listen this album a lot

BYE BYE!!!!

How was Larry Nassar allowed to abuse athletes for so long? - Duration: 12:05.

JUDY WOODRUFF: First: the day of reckoning for Larry Nassar.

The one-time doctor was sentenced today in Lansing, Michigan in a case that sent shockwaves

through American gymnastics and beyond.

ROSEMARIE AQUILINA, 30th Circuit Judge: It is my honor and privilege to sentence you.

JUDY WOODRUFF: After a weeklong hearing, Michigan Judge Rosemarie Aquilina pronounced Larry

Nassar's fate, up to 175 years for sexually assaulting scores of women and girls, including

Olympic gold gymnasts, under the guise of medical treatment.

ROSEMARIE AQUILINA: You do not deserve to walk outside of a prison ever again.

I have just signed your death warrant.

(APPLAUSE)

JUDY WOODRUFF: With the sentence, the courtroom erupted in clapping, as some of Nassar's victims

and the prosecution team embraced.

The former sports doctor had pleaded guilty to victimizing young athletes over more than

two decades, with USA Gymnastics and Michigan State University.

ROSEMARIE AQUILINA: Your decision to assault was precise, calculated, manipulative, devious,

despicable.

JUDY WOODRUFF: Today, Nassar attempted to apologize to his victims.

LARRY NASSAR, Defendant: There are no words that can describe the depth and breadth of

how sorry I am for what has occurred.

JUDY WOODRUFF: But the judge was having none of it.

She read parts of a letter that Nassar had submitted to the court, in which he charged

his accusers were not telling the truth.

ROSEMARIE AQUILINA: Would you like to withdraw your plea?

LARRY NASSAR: No, Your Honor.

ROSEMARIE AQUILINA: Because you are guilty, aren't you?

Are you guilty, sir?

LARRY NASSAR: I have said my plea exactly.

JUDY WOODRUFF: More than 150 victims had shared wrenching testimony over the past seven days,

concluding today with Rachael Denhollander.

She was the first to publicly accuse Nassar in 2016.

She says she was 15 when he first abused her.

RACHAEL DENHOLLANDER, Nassar Accuser: And this is what it looks like when people in

authority refuse to listen, put friendships in front of the truth, fail to create or enforce

proper policy and fail to hold enablers accountable.

JUDY WOODRUFF: Just last week, three USA Gymnastics board members resigned, and now the NCAA has

launched an investigation of Michigan State.

That is after The Detroit News reported that 14 university officials learned of Nassar's

crimes over the past 20 years, but did nothing.

Judge Aquilina called today for a federal investigation into how Nassar wasn't exposed

earlier.

The Michigan assistant attorney general, Angela Povilaitis, said Nassar would still be in

his position, had it not been for those who bravely came forward.

ANGELA POVILAITIS, Michigan Assistant Attorney General: The breadth and ripple of this defendant's

abuse and destruction is nearly infinite.

But we have also seen how one voice can start a movement.

JUDY WOODRUFF: Povilaitis said she hopes the Nassar case will encourage girls and women

everywhere to speak out.

ANGELA POVILAITIS: The fact that the women led the investigation, the prosecution team,

and that three female judges now sentenced defendant Nassar is poetic justice.

JUDY WOODRUFF: Nassar has already been sentenced to 60 years in federal prison for possession

of child pornography.

There were also new developments late today related to the leadership and culture of gymnastics

that allowed these assaults to continue for years.

The CEO of the U.S. Olympic Committee apologized for failing to protect the girls and women

involved.

He also called for the resignation of the entire board of directors of USA Gymnastics.

And Michigan lawmakers called for the resignation of the Michigan State University president.

After seven days of painful testimony, there are still so many questions about why the

abuse went on for so long.

We explore just some of those now with Robert Andrews.

He is the founder and director of the Institute of Sports Performance.

He is a coach who worked on mental training with Olympic gymnasts Simone Biles and Laurie

Hernandez, among others.

Robert Andrews, thank you for being here.

First of all, tell us, what is the Institute of Sports Performance?

What sort of work do you do with athletes?

ROBERT ANDREWS, Founder and Director, Institute of Sports Performance: Help them handle pressure

of big performances like national world championships, Olympic Games, help them manage distractions,

create a real strong, mentally tough mind-set.

And I do a lot of work with injured athletes, helping them overcome the psychological impact

of serious sports-related injuries.

JUDY WOODRUFF: Have you been surprised at the revelations about Larry Nassar?

ROBERT ANDREWS: You know, yes and no.

It doesn't surprise me, given the culture.

I'm shocked at the depth of it and how many victims have been affected by this and their

families.

So it's a mixed bag for me.

It's not surprising, though.

When I heard the news initially, a lot of things started clicking and falling in place

for me.

JUDY WOODRUFF: Tell us just quickly a little bit about the world that young gymnasts live

in, what they have to go through to get to the levels of competition.

ROBERT ANDREWS: Well, a lot of that depends on the culture in the gym where they're training

and their parents, of course.

I call it the three-legged stool, the parent, coach and the athlete.

And a weakness in any one of those legs can prevent the athlete from reaching their full

potential.

In an ideal world, there would be great coach-athlete relationships and great parent-coach-athlete

relationships.

However, in the current USA Gymnastics culture, there is quite a few gyms out there with horribly

abusive coaches running the shows.

And I think that this has started with the leadership on the national level.

And coaches go to national team training camps and watch how athletes are treated on the

women's side, I want to clarify, and then they go back to their gyms and they carry

that virus with them.

On the men's side -- I worked with the men's program for over five years, and I didn't

see any psychological abuse or screaming or yelling.

There were other issues on the men's side that I feel like need to be addressed, but

on the women's side in particular, a tremendous amount of horrendous psychological abuse,

and manipulation, and shaming, and degrading, and humiliation, and how you dare not question

authority, and that's what set this whole thing up.

JUDY WOODRUFF: Why -- but how can that be?

How could it be that these -- that he had access to these young girls for so long without

any eyes, any supervision of what he was doing?

ROBERT ANDREWS: That's the question we all have to get the answer to.

He created the perfect feeding ground for himself, and that might sound cold or harsh.

But when you have girls that are terrified of leadership, and a guy like Larry Nassar

comes in and sneaks them food and is kind to them and treats them with some kind of

dignity and befriends them and listens to their problems and complaints, and he's this

renowned doctor, well, then he created trust with them.

And he groomed them over many, many years.

And I also think there were many people in leadership positions with USAG that were totally

asleep at the wheel, if not in total denial about what was going on.

And I believe there were people that knew what was going on and refused to do anything

about it, just like MSU.

JUDY WOODRUFF: You mean knew that there was sexual abuse, in addition to the mental abuse

you are describing?

ROBERT ANDREWS: Well, the mental, everybody knew about.

It was well known.

And that was a lot of my work was teaching these girls how to deal with that or teach

the coaches how to buffer the athlete from that kind of psychological and mental-emotional

abuse.

But if we have girls getting hush money, then people knew, right?

To me, that's obvious.

And I would like to know names.

You know, who was it that set up these hush money accounts with these girls to not speak

up and not say anything?

Or, when things were reported years ago, why has it taken this long, and why has it taken

these brave women's voices and empowerment to create the change, when this has been going

on for so long?

Dominique Moceanu has been talking about horrendous psychological abuse way back when.

I'm just wondering why it's taken so long.

JUDY WOODRUFF: And that's, I think, what people are trying to understand, because it's clear

that, with that sort of system, what he was doing, it was much easier, it seems, for him

to get away with it because everybody was used to some kind of abuse.

ROBERT ANDREWS: Absolutely.

JUDY WOODRUFF: But how -- I keep coming back to, who's in charge?

Was anybody being held accountable?

ROBERT ANDREWS: Evidently not.

And, you know, it's an old cliche, but leadership always starts at the top.

You look at the president and begin to work your way down through national team coordinator,

women's program director and other people in positions of power, who clearly saw the

way girls were being treated.

You look at Mattie Larson's testimony yesterday.

Two falls at worlds annihilated her.

She was shunned and ignored and degraded and humiliated.

And she was a beautiful, dynamic, powerful gymnast that the system just -- it just crushed,

when she made two mistakes at world championships that cost USA a gold medal.

And she's one of many that have been victims of that type of abuse in the system.

And that can set them up for, you know, I don't have a voice, I don't have any sense

of personal power, I can't ask for help, because I know I'm not going to get it.

And so Larry just swept in and picked whoever he wanted, is what I believe happened.

JUDY WOODRUFF: Do you believe that this sort of -- that sexual abuse could be taking place

right now on the part of other team doctors, other individuals who were involved?

ROBERT ANDREWS: No, I don't see that.

God, I hope not, but I don't see that.

You know, Larry was -- I had one incident in the 2012 national championships, where

a girl on the women's national team texted me to meet.

We were going to meet to just help her get ready for the competition.

Well, where are you?

She was in the treatment room.

Well, that was Larry's domain.

I said, I will be right there.

So, when I walked in, it was almost like -- have you ever seen a female -- a mother dog with

puppies and how, when another dog comes around, they go on full alert?

I felt that.

I'm a real intuitive guy.

And I remember I felt that reaction from him, like, what are you doing in here?

And when I found out he has been accused and arrested, everything made sense.

It's like, he didn't want me in that domain.

If those girls confided many in me over time, they might let me know about him.

So, he never referred me anybody, knowing good and well how I could have helped them.

So, all the pieces started falling into place.

So, he had it under wraps.

He had his system under place.

And I just don't believe there would be anybody else abusing girls in that system, at least

not sexually.

JUDY WOODRUFF: Well, we certainly hope not.

And we certainly hope that things are going to change, because the system you describe

is just horrible.

I don't know of any other word for it.

ROBERT ANDREWS: Well, I can guarantee you there's going to be change, because there's

so many of us that are demanding it.

And these brave 160 women and girls, they have busted the door down and created the

room for all of us to push through and demand change.

JUDY WOODRUFF: Robert Andrews, we thank you.

ROBERT ANDREWS: My pleasure.

BREAKING NEWS From Pennsylvania!! THEY K*LLED HIM! SO TRAGIC! - Duration: 8:08.

BREAKING NEWS From Pennsylvania!!

THEY KILLED HIM!

SO TRAGIC!

Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele and Abington Township Pennsylvania

Police Chief John Livingood have now confirmed the arrest of 19-year-old Lisa Smith and her

boyfriend 26-year-old Keiff King for murder.

Both of these murderers are from Willow Grove in Abington Township and have been arrested

for Criminal Attempted Murder in the First-Degree, Aggravated Assault, Endangering the Welfare

of a Child and related charges in the death of Lisa Smith's son, 4-year-old Tahjir Smith. On

Monday, 4-year-old Tahjir was eating breakfast when he spilled his cereal.

Apparently in this "family," spilling your cereal is cause for the death penalty.

Lisa Smith later confirmed to police the boy stuttered as he told her what he had done,

but little did the poor boy know this would be the last accident he would ever have.

Smith added that once the boy told her what he had done she took him to the back bedroom

to be disciplined which consisted in ordering him into the "position," which was similar

to a push-up position.

When Tahjir moved from the position, she would tell him, "You are playing with me."

That same afternoon as the punishment continued for the 4-year-old boy, Smith informed King

about Tahjir's behavior and for the rest of the afternoon Tahjir was allegedly ordered

into the position several more times as punishment.

At one point, the boy put his knee down while in the position and that's when things escalated.

Using hands and a shoe, his mother, Lisa, and her boyfriend, Keiff King, would strike

the little boy over and over again, in the head and torso.

Abington Township Police responded to a 911 call of a small child suffering a respiratory

emergency.

When paramedics arrived at the scene they found the boy limp and unresponsive.

They then proceeded to transport him to Abington Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced

dead on arrival.

Philly.com Reports:

On Monday morning, 4-year-old Tahjir Smith spilled his breakfast cereal.

He stuttered, his mother would later tell police, as he told her what he had done.

Then, authorities said, his punishment began.

Using hands and a shoe, his mother, Lisa, and her boyfriend, Keiff King, would later

strike the little boy over and over again, in the head and torso, authorities said.

By the time Abington Township Police arrived that evening, Tahjir was limp and unresponsive.

On Tuesday, Smith, 19, and King, 26, both of Willow Grove, were charged with attempted

first-degree murder, aggravated assault, child endangerment, and related offenses.

"This senseless death of a 4-year-old boy at the hands of the very adults who are supposed

to care for him and keep him safe is a horrible tragedy," Montgomery County District Attorney

Kevin R. Steele said in a statement.

"This is the face of domestic violence — a preschooler was beaten until he stopped breathing

because he spilled his cereal."

The coroner's office had yet to determine the cause and manner of death Tuesday evening,

but a preliminary examination indicated this may not have been the boy's first beating.

Old rib fractures were found along with the recent injuries, authorities said.

Keiff King, 26, of Willow Grove, who was charged Tuesday with attempted murder after the death

of his girlfriend's 4-year-old son, Tahjir Smith.

According to charging documents, police officers were called to the home on the 1800 block

of Lukens Avenue just after 6 p.m. Monday for a reported respiratory emergency.

Upon finding the boy dead and talking with Smith, Abington Township police and the Montgomery

County Detective Bureau began to investigate.

In an interview that night, Smith told investigators about the spilled cereal.

That morning, Smith had seen Tahjir running toward a couch, being "sneaky," she told

police.

When she confronted the boy, he began to stutter — as he often did when scared — and admitted

to the spill, according to the documents.

Smith then took Tahjir to the back bedroom to be disciplined, ordering him into the "position,"

which she told police was similar to a push-up position, according to the documents.

When Tahjir moved from the position, she told him, "You are playing with me," according

to the documents.

That afternoon, Smith told police, she told King about Tahjir's behavior.

Throughout the afternoon, Tahjir was allegedly ordered into the position several more times

as punishment.

At one point, the boy put his knee down while in the position, according to the documents.

That is when, authorities said, things escalated.

Smith told police King punched Tahjir in the back of the head.

After that, she lay Tahjir on a bed, naked from the waist down, as she and King alternated

hitting the boy in the buttocks with a sandal, she told police.

King told investigators he called this punishment a "butt whooping," according to the documents.

Smith told police she noticed her son became unresponsive during this period of punishment.

After Tahjir urinated on himself during the beating, the couple placed him in the shower,

Smith told police.

King turned the water from cold to hot, saying Tahjir's punishment hadn't ended, according

to the documents.

Lisa Smith, 19, of Willow Grove, who was charged Tuesday with attempted murder after the death

of her 4-year-old son, Tahjir Smith.

When Tahjir was still unresponsive after the shower, Smith said, she wanted to call 911,

but King told her, "He is still breathing.

He is cool.

He is still up," according to the documents.

Then, Smith told police, she watched Tahjir's eyes roll back and his mouth open.

King dressed Tahjir, the couple took him outside, and they called 911, according to the documents.

Ishmael Powell, King's 18-year-old cousin who also lived in the home, told police he

heard Tahjir crying from another room around 2 p.m. Powell also said he heard the sound

of hands hitting skin, according to the documents.

The home, police noted, was in "deplorable" condition and was visibly roach-infested,

according to the documents.

No attorney for Smith or King was listed on court documents as of Tuesday evening.

They were arraigned Monday before District Judge John D. Kessler, with bail set at $500,000

each.

Unable to post bail, the pair was being held Tuesday night at the Montgomery County Correctional

Facility, awaiting a Jan. 31 preliminary hearing.

Montgomery County Detectives and Abington Police began an investigation that confirmed

that earlier that earlier in the day the 4-year-old boy had been severely beaten by both defendants

at their home because he had spilled his breakfast cereal that morning.

And the investigation confirmed he was repeatedly hit in the head and torso and that the object

used was both a hand and a shoe.

On Thursday Forensic Pathologist Dr. Ian Hood with the Montgomery County Coroner's Office

completed the autopsy on the child.

And what they found was truly heartbreaking, because in addition to the fresh injuries

to the boy's body he also found prior rib fractures and other signs of abuse.

Dr. Hood is now awaiting further test results before confirming the cause of death.

The defendants were arraigned and bail was set for each defendant at $500,000.

They both failed to post bail and were sent to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility

for lockup.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 31, 2018.

Let's hope neither of these murderers ever see the outside of a jail cell again.
