100 weeks on YouTube I think this video is gonna inspire you stay with me coming
up next hey everyone welcome to Wednesday's with crystal on my hundredth
week straight here on YouTube I am so glad that you are watching and maybe
this is your first time here well welcome to the celebration and maybe
you've been with me since week one this video is gonna be a little bit different
because I just want to take a moment and just celebrate all that God has done you
know it was back a few years ago and a member of our team here our creative and
outreach director had told kept telling me that she felt like I should start a
YouTube channel and y'all I'll just be honest with you I never had it in my
heart to do YouTube channel um honestly never thought it'd be something that I
would do and she kept on telling me you know crystal I think you did great well
the more she talked about it the more God just began to stir my heart and time
went on and I began thinking about it but I was probably kind of like you the
moment that God puts a dream in your heart you kind of get scared to do it
does anybody else like me and the more I thought about it the more scared I got
and the more reasons I gave myself that it was a terrible idea and so time went
on and I just kept talking about it and finally Bryan my husband he goes crystal
are you gonna do this or not and so I was like okay I'm gonna do it so we set
a day and we recorded that first video in the first few times I had friends
with me on here because I thought if I have them with me then it'll kind of
distract that's me doing a YouTube channel and I'll hide behind my friends
and after a few weeks of that I stepped out and I started doing the videos by
myself and honestly I can tell you this has been the craziest journey every
single week I'm just hitting record looking into this camera and
leaving that you're gonna be on the other side of that you know since we
started it's been incredible how many people their lives have been changed
literally so many views like tens of thousands upon thousands of views every
single day we only get emails and comments from you guys about you know
finding my channel and from people who were on the verge of suicide and came
across one of my videos it just literally it touches my heart and I'll
just say like I'm so thankful and for this journey and a hundred weeks has
been so amazing um growing with you and learning with you and every single one
of you have been so special and it's been really amazing to see what God's
done in fact and back a few months ago I was in Austin Texas and this lady came
up to me at a restaurant and she's like oh my gosh are you crystal for
Wednesday's with crystal I was like yes that's me and she began sharing how by
watching my channel she got inspired to start her own channel and she was
telling me about how God is just doing amazing things in her life you know I
read in the Bible in John chapter 6 and um how Jesus when he fed the multitudes
after he got done feeding the multitudes I've always been perplexed by verse 12
and he tells the disciples when everyone had had enough to go gather up now the
fragments the broken pieces that are left over so that made nothing may be
lost or wasted you know when I think about my life I would say that I
wouldn't be one of the people that would say that I was the whole loaf of bread
that was passed out or the perfect piece of fish that was passed out if I could
just be honest I feel like my life was the broken piece you know I never really
felt qualified I've never really felt like I brought something grand to the
table no doubt there's better speakers out there no doubt there's better
channels no doubt there's better at communicators people who are way more
better versed than I and much more knowledgeable but here's the thing is
that God has chosen to use this little space here on YouTube to do amazing
things and I love that what Jesus says there that nothing may be lost or wasted
you know if I could say that my journeys taught me anything over the last hundred
weeks is that God can use even the things that we would say is
insignificant even the things that we would call small and kind of cast them
to the side that God can take those little fragments and he can make
something beautiful with it you know I've learned over the last two years of
doing YouTube we haven't missed a single week together since I started and I can
just say that I've learned the first thing if my journey could teach you
anything is this is that consistency is always worth it
you know it's easy to do something once but I want to challenge you as you're on
your journey to do whatever God's called you to do just keep showing up just keep
showing it you know I loved when I was watching the Super Bowl the other day
and the Eagles won and as their quarterback was standing there giving
his speech and him Betty's falling and he's holding his precious baby girl and
he said this he said you know we've been dreaming about this since we were little
boys and he said it every day we kept showing up for practice and every day we
just kept giving our best since we were little boys until now you know I thought
about that statement I just thought how many years of the hiddenness of people
not seeing the practice not seeing the hours that he put in not seeing the
sacrifice and they're in that moment the whole world celebrated with the Eagles
as they won the Super Bowl championship but the truth is they were showing up
and being consistent for a long time before anybody celebrated with them and
friend let me tell you the Bible tells us that what we do in secret God will
reward us openly and want to tell you that in your own life
that even when you feel like maybe you're not making progress maybe you may
feel like gosh does this even making a difference I want to tell you that it is
making a difference and every day you choose to stay faithful to what God's
told you to do your one day closer you're one step closer your one moment
nearer to the moment everything's gonna change that everything's gonna break
through so the first thing I would tell you is to be consistent the second thing
I would tell you is don't think that a small thing can turn into a big thing
really quick so many times we look at the small things that God is doing and
we think can God do anything big with this small thing but I want to remind
you that everything that turned out big in the Bible started out with something
small even think about when God decided to rescue the whole earth he didn't send
a full-grown man to come do it he sent a baby he was letting us know
when I get ready to do a big thing it'll often start out as a small thing you
know here on my channel when I started out had zero subscribers and I was just
believing to do something great for God not even knowing what it looked like and
God has done a really big thing some of my videos have taken off and literally
gone all over the world I get messages from people why because God isn't afraid
to do a big thing with the small thing let God have your small thing let God
have the little thing that you think there's no way that this can turn into
something great you know going back to when Jesus fed the multitudes he sends
the dust the disciples out through the crowd and he asked them does anybody
have anything and there was one little boy with a sack lunch you know you think
about that and beating thousands of people that little boy could have looked
at that small thing and thought there's no way that God can turn this into
something great but when he was willing to surrender what he had God was more
than willing to give what he had see when we give our little God always meets
us with his much I want to challenge you wherever you're at
- just give God that you have whatever it may look like
and I promise you this that he will give you much so it's been an incredible
hundred weeks here on YouTube I'm actually really excited to tell you guys
I'm gonna be starting a podcast you're really soon and where you'll be able to
get additional bonus content from me full-length messages and so you'll want
to be staying here on my channel so that way you won't miss out as soon as that
launches I'm so excited to share that with you I've been getting all the
details together and you guys have been asking for it for a long time so I
cannot wait to share with you more of my heart as we continue to grow together so
hey with all that said if you're not subscribed you want to be subscribed I'd
love for you to join my community here on YouTube and truly from the bottom of
my heart truly thank you thank you for being on this journey and thank you for
believing in me thank you for growing with me and I can't wait to see what God
continues to do as we grow together I love you so much
let's see something awesome for God in these next 100 weeks

Fashion Trends Spring & Summer, Follow Up, What I'm Wearing - Duration: 14:34.
hi everyone welcome back to my channel today my video is all about a follow-up
video from my last my last video was fashion trends for this year spring and
summer 2018 this is a requested video ly request is from one of my loyal
subscribers her name is kelly and she has been with me since day one I really
appreciate you Kelly of the trends that I'm gonna be doing for sure is headbands
I love headbands I don't like doing my hair I am lazy with my hair I would
rather do my makeup and put my outfit together than my hair so the headband
trend is definitely for me the next trend I love and plan on doing for
myself is little sunglasses I love little tiny sunglasses I didn't think I
would be interested in this trend I thought forever I'm going to be the
seventy style big giant sunglasses the bigger the better but I do like the
little sunglasses I feel like it's really different and it's very Street
chic and I like that glasses that I got were five dollars I do like designer
pieces I do like high-end pieces I love good quality clothing and an amazing
tailoring but I have no problem going and getting a pair of sunglasses that
are five dollars if I like them I don't care who makes them I don't care if it's
from forever 21 or some tiny little sunglass setup on the streets I don't it
doesn't matter to me if I like something I get it and it's not always designer
okay the next trend I love and plan on doing it I didn't mention this in my
video it's so mainstream now a lot of people are aware of this trend but not
only is it the high-waist trend which I have to do because I love
it it doesn't cut me off anymore my whole butt can fit into a pair of jeans
and that's my goal when your whole butt is in your jeans and you're not like
muffin top I don't care how skinny you are low waisted low-rise jeans made
everyone have a muffin top it was obnoxious so I love a high-waisted denim
but it's not just that it's high waist with a step hem where the top of the
denim is cut in a step I really really love
that and I love all the details this year the bottom of the jean of the denim
is cut off so I literally went through all my denim and cut the bottoms off
it's I like like a frayed and I like sometimes where the denim it comes much
above the ankle like a 2 or 3 inches above the ankle out of different hems on
jeans that are really undone really messy and I do like that so that is a
trend I'm going to be doing I started doing it a little bit last year and then
I literally cut all the bottoms off my don't okay guys another trend I love
that I'm gonna be doing all spring all summer all winter is a jumpsuit this
jumpsuit it's kind of two trends in one so it's the check which we all know
about but it's also the jumpsuit I love the frills that go over the shoulders I
think it's very feminine I wore this what did I wear this with I
think I wore it with a bodysuit which kept it really beautiful and just
streamlined but I do love a jumpsuit this is from Zara it was not expensive
it's got really wide bottoms like the legs are really wide it was not
expensive I will insert a picture of how I styled this I really went all in I
really put everything I could with this jumpsuit I was really feeling it I think
even more hot with it but I love jumpsuits I'm gonna show all the
jumpsuits I'm obsessed with right now and I'm looking at ok another trend I'm
obsessed with is ribbons and string detail and everything there are a few
items that I'm watching and I haven't quite pulled the trigger yet but I do
love that trend and I do think it's feminine
I do theme at different I love it ok another trend I'm gonna do this year
that I love love love is lavender I don't have a lot of lavender pieces in
my wardrobe but I do love the color and it does feel fresh there's a blouse from
tibi I'm stocking right now I'm waiting for some kind of a discount or some kind
of a promotion it has a lot of movement it's very feminine it's very striking
but I will be doing lavender this year I
don't have a lot of lavender pieces right now
so I'm just kind of looking for something to really catch my eye if you
don't like lavender or you don't want to do lavender like in your wardrobe as a
statement piece you can always do just a pair of earrings these are from Express
they are very affordable I don't know if the camera is gonna pick up the lavender
bottom but it has different shades of lavender this is the fringe trend so
it's like two-for-one okay guys another trend I'm gonna be
doing is the kitten heel I love the kitten heel of course I didn't like it a
couple years ago when it started to we started to see it just a tiny bit I was
like no I'm a four-inch girl for life I'm a stiletto girl for life I'm a wedge
girl for life notice how we never see wedges anymore
like they're just dead no one's buying wedges of course Louboutin showed one or
two wedges in their collection but generally we're not seeing any wedge
shoes right now high heels anyway but I do like the kitten heel and we know
we're in a movement of flat shoes so if you have feet problems this is awesome
for you but I do like the kitten heel Zara has so many cute kitten heels right
now so if you don't want to spend a lot of money on this trend look at Zara
they're cute and a lot of their shoes do not look inexpensive they don't look
cheap they look nice and let's be honest if you're only gonna wear it for a
season it's not much of an investment honestly I think with my list and
paperwork of trends it probably would have been easier to do what I'm not
gonna be doing the trends I won't be doing because I like to do everything I
do I I love fashion I love styling I love to try things I'm uncomfortable
with or things that I just I'm not sure about I love to be pushed out of my
comfort zone so it's maybe better for me to do what I'm not gonna be a trend I'm
not gonna be doing I don't think I'm gonna be doing the logos I just don't I
don't know I I don't have to own a Gucci shirt that says Gucci I do like designer
pieces and I do like quality I do like an amazing handbag amazing
pair of shoes but I just I know it's fun I know it's youthful I know it's very
trendy but I don't think that's a trend I'm gonna be doing like a you know the
Louboutin logo scarf and you know I do have bits of logo scarfs I guess that's
where it's at for me if I'm gonna be doing a logo piece I think it might be
in a small accessory hang on I'll show you another one okay here's another logo
piece it's a Fendi it has the F cell over it you know the Fendi logo scarf I
bought this probably two years ago logos weren't even on trend but I just like
the color obviously you know I do like a lime green I just don't think I'm gonna
be doing the logo trend that being said I might turn around and do it I don't
know like sometimes I'm just one way and then I see something and it's very
inspiring so I'll go another way I did not like the sock boot trend this past
season then Giuseppe Zanotti did the sock boot in that hot neon pink for
spring and now I like it and it's not so heavy where it's the full boot that is
the sock over the ankle and above the ankle and then the toe box is open so
sometimes you think you're not going to do something then a designer does it a
different way and it inspires you and you change your mind of course I'm going
to be doing the satin trend I love satin and I know Kelly said that she's super
excited about the satin trend and I am too I do like it it's very feminine this
scarf you know obviously a satin just be careful with satin you want to look for
a quality piece it can be satin and soaked but you want to make sure it's
not too too shiny then it can look a little bit cheap so go with a satin
trend but not like ultra ultra shiny all designers showed satin and it feels new
so I'm excited about it there is a pair of shorts from self-portrait I'm
obsessed with I will be getting them they're high-waisted they're stripes
they're feminine they're sexy I feel like I can wear them a million different
ways so I do love the satin trend and there's a few pieces I'm stocking which
I'll show you okay another trend that I think I'm gonna be doing because I
already own pieces is the fringe trend these are
Guiseppe Zanotti I do like fringe I don't have to have everything fringe
although I do like the pants Zara had a pair of pants I'm not sure if they're
still on their website they were high-waisted the whole pant was
infringed I had a lot of movement there in black I was stocking them for a while
I don't know if they still have them but you can always just do a little bit of
our accessories if you're not a girl that wants to do a big fringe dress or a
big fringe blouse or pants that's too much for you just do it your accessories
this is a Pucci scarf where the fringe is just in the bottom so you're doing
the trend but it's not too much it's not you know overdone and it's not gonna
take over your outfit and okay I do love the set dressing trend I really do
there are some sets I'm obsessing over there's one from lover and friends it
stripes so we know stripes are everything this year and then it's a set
because the top is really cute and it has a matching bottle I do like sets I
think it's cute I think it's fun it's definitely fresh it's easy because you
don't have to think about the two pieces being cohesive or matching meaning the
top and the bottom it's done for you so I really love that idea I love that I
plan on doing is the PVC clear lucite trend the see-through trend the
see-through bags shoes accessories I love this I think it's fresh we have
seen it before in years past but something goes away
then it comes back and we like it again we feel like it's fresh especially if
you haven't seen it for a minute so this is a necklace I've had for years clear
necklace it is in glass beads but it looks like Lou said of course it's clear
this would be great over a casual t-shirt just like a white t-shirt
printed t-shirt maybe a t-shirt with us saying because it's really really dressy
and what I like to do is put something really really dressy with a piece that's
very casual and I like the contrast of that I like that it's kind of breaking
the rules a little bit I'd like to put it with casual pieces even like a logo
t-shirt this necklace piece a pair of jean shorts ripped and maybe like a
little kitten heel it's and a denim jacket like I like to build
an outfit that isn't exactly what you would think it would be I will be doing
this trend I like it I will not be spending a lot of money on this trend
this is not a trend where I'm gonna go and buy the you know the it Chanel bag
this year and because in my opinion you know it is plastic it's PVC it's it's
lucite it's not an expensive leather or it's not an expensive material so I
don't want to spend a lot of money on this trend and pieces don't really hold
up let me show you here is a pair of Louboutins I've had them for years and
years and years Louboutin has been using plastic and PVC on their shoes just
little bits every season for years the plastic doesn't hold up very well it
seems to get stained and it seems to like see all kind of I don't know if the
camera these shoes are not clean obviously they're really heavily worn
but it really gets smoky looking it really gets dirty looking so it is not
like it's not a material that holds up really well so my advice to anyone out
there that likes this trend is to do the trend but don't spend a lot of money on
the trend because the material will not hold up in your wardrobe love the petite
bag trend I will be doing it I have been doing it I'm going to keep on doing it
and I do like the idea that the petite bags are not just in a kind of tired of
the clutch style the long rectangle style it feels very dated it feels old
it feels stale to me so I do like a different shape so this is a petite bag
this is from Henri Bendel this bag was not expensive this bag was very
affordable it's all leather the chain I've had it for at least maybe
seven months the chain has not changed it has not tarnished in any way it is
held up I have not been special I've not been nice to it have not you know
treated it with kid gloves basically but I like the shape it feels modern do like
a little bag I will be getting a bucket bag a tiny little bucket bag I do like
little bags I think the bucket bag is fresh now because it has a handle and a
chain I'll show you options that I'm obsessing over but I do like that so I
will be doing the little bag trend the trend I want to do is the utility pant I
am having a really hard time finding a utility pant that I love I am looking
for something in satin specifically I do okay and now they're trying to I love I
mean I love all the trims I do appreciate you know you guys asking me
and maybe it's just better to hear personally what I want to do and
personally when I'm stalking but I do love plaid and so I am looking for plaid
pieces more than just the jumpsuit plaid with color in pinks and purples and
lavenders so I do love plaid and I'm looking for some plaid peace guys I hope
that was some good insight into what I'm looking for what I'm stalking why I like
things why I'm gonna spend money on one thing and maybe not another please
subscribe please hit the notification bell below so you are notified as soon
as I do a video conference of the day go check out my Instagram I am posting
every two days on my Instagram outfits up today okay thank you so much for
watching I really appreciate it love you guys bye

Follow TechnoBuffalo on his tour through the Bosch Connected World 2018! - Duration: 6:07.
What's going on everybody, I am in beautiful Berlin taking in the sights.
It's the Brandenburg Gate behind me but the beautiful scenery is not the only
reason that I am here. I came to check out Bosch Connected World while they're
showing the future of the connected world. So I'm gonna check out the scenes
and I'm gonna show you what is new from Bosch Connected World. Stay tuned.
We've got Bosch's vision of essentially connected parking, so a couple of cool
things are going on here. First, the parking garage is actually what's made
smart. You pull your car in, you pull up to your registered area you, get out of your
car, you open your smart phone, you push a button, and your car goes and parks
itself and then you come back and you push a button and your car comes back to
you. That is incredibly cool and there's actually a real live demo of that that
was going on here. This technology that's coming, and it's not just coming to one
manufacturer, it's not just for Mercedes or BMW, this is technology that's going to
work across all cars which is pretty awesome to see. So I am with Johnny from
Bosch and I will talk to anyone who shares my same name. Johnny is the
technical master when it comes to connected parking and Bosch's vision
of connected parking. So I had a few questions. First, this is incredible - it's
like watching magic happen, but how does this technology work? Is the technology
in the car or is technology more in the parking garage where the car is going to
be parked? Okay, the automated valet parking, it is the safety this is one
of the most important value of what we bring in this in this automated valet
parking. This week we delivered by the infrastructure and not by the vehicle.
That means we have the infrastructure we built up
there, our our lidar sensors, and with this combination and the signals which
goes to the vehicle we can make a safety stop or whatever in the
vehicle. That means for a mixed environment we are actually
confident that we will not have any problems and that's very important. That is
incredible. I think one of the coolest things for people to understand too is because
this is demonstrated with the Mercedes, this isn't just a Mercedes technology.
It's not just for them or BMW, this is technology across all manufacturers and
all automobiles, which is really cool to see something like this accessible
ultimately for everyone. So I don't know if a lot of you guys live in big cities but I was
in San Francisco, for example, last week and parking on the streets in those
cities is insane and complicated. You got to budget a good 45 minutes just to find a place
to park your car. So what Bosch is doing, as you drive down the street your car is
sort of passively scanning for parking spaces. So even if you're not parking,
it'll see an open space on street "A" and register that to a database and
somebody else that might be coming to that location they'll get an alert
saying a spot is available and will direct them to that spot. So even though
you might not be looking for a parking spot your car is still doing the work
and it's sort of helping the global network of people find easier
access to parking spots and making commutes obviously shorter and also
reducing emissions. So you may have heard of blockchain regards to cryptocurrency
but the blockchain tech is used for way more. Bosch is actually using it for the
used car market, to make sure that your odometer is actually accurate. The amount of
miles you have on the car is what it's going to say. So every time you drive in
your car it's going to add to the blockchain what your actual mileage is
so when you go to sell the car, that is verifiable by somebody who wants to buy
it and you get a little tag like this, scan the code and then the person who
purchases the car can actually know and verify that what you're telling them is
honest and accurate. Pretty cool! As the electrification of cars continue, it's
important to be able find a charging station to charge your car. Sometimes you
pull into these stations, they're already in use and you got a
wait or you have to risk running your battery down while you are waiting. Bosch's
solution: you can reserve a charging location before you get there so you
know it's gonna be open and available. Seems like an obvious answer but it
wasn't till now. I'm just nonchalantly hanging out in the i3. I Drive an EV at
home and if you've ever driven an EV you know it's cumbersome mess to find an
available charging station there are four or five different OEMs that make
the actual charging stations and you got to make sure you've got the right RFID tag,
make sure you've got the right app on your phone, make sure you have data, there's a
lot of hoops you have to run through just to put juice in your car. That's
another problem that actually finally got solved here at Bosch Connected World.
Bosch is showing just one application that's gonna interface with all
different OEMs, or at least most of them, do all the work for you so you can just
focus on charging your car. It seems like an obvious solution but it hasn't really
existed until now. So a big part of Bosch Connected World is actually the
hackathon going on in this gigantic area and what these hackers are doing, and
Bosch is giving access to their APIs and all this data coming out of their
connected cars, and they're letting people just have at it and do what they
want with it to make these really cool applications of the technologies. You get
things like a foosball table that plays itself.
You've got automated scooters, you got robots rolling around here. This is where
the hard work gets done. This is where the future starts to come together,
where these ideas percolate into real-world concepts that are gonna
happen in a few years. So what kind of things you guys making? So these are like
small robots, they're like a Roomba kind of thing. A bit more accurate maybe and
the hackers are open to do whatever they like to do with this. They have different
topics like following this line and passing by obstacles. So being a geek
it's kind of cool to like try to conceptualize what the future is going
to hold, it's another thing to actually see it and that's what we got to do here
at Bosch Connected World. We saw the future of connected mobility, we saw the future
of the connected city, and everything in between. It's been an awesome experience.
It was a great opportunity to come back to Berlin, to experience Bosch through
Bosch's eyes. I hope you guys enjoyed! I had a blast making this. Thank you again
to Bosch for sending me out here. Till next
time, I'm Jon Rettinger.

Follow Up#4 Directions - Duration: 7:53.
this is the information and directions for follow-up for your last follow-up so
you're very near the end of the course it's called putting it all together
essentially what we're going to do is have you use the information that you
have learned through this course to apply it to working as a school
administrator so the beginning is just a little bit of an introduction here and
then we're going to be talking about this teacher whose name is Ms. Tripp a
third year reading teacher in a middle school so there's some information about
her scores and testing and some background information you have been
appointed the new assistant principal at the same middle school so take your time
read through the information and the scenario and essentially what's
happening there's some discussion about the lesson they had a lesson as being
effective developing so she's not quite on target mixed observations mixed
reviews you're working with the department share as well so you can kind
of skim through this data here and the principal was asking you to meet with
the department chair to develop an assistance plan so of course that's
course contact that we have discussed and that we will cover and then you're
going to have to meet with the department chair and then meet with the
teacher and then you also have responsibility for planning professional
development for the faculty so that model of the professional development
planning guide will come back into play again this is working with your group so
there'll be some online activities where you'll be able to work as a group to
essentially pre-write the various sections there's part A, B, C, D and E so
you will be assigned in different groups to do the pre-writing but then everybody
will have access to all of the information
you and you are alone are responsible for the work that you submit so while we
might be pre-writing it still does need to be your own work we're not doing a
group project so in part a dealing with miss trip you're going to look at the
developmental characteristics so that's Chapter 4 in the text where you're going
to look at her as an adult learner and determine based on how she's reacting in
the data that you've reviewed in terms of where you would characterize her in
Part B you're going to plan an agenda for your meeting with the department
share because you have to meet to create an assistance plan so there's that's
covered in the text and then also the assistance planning think about the
direct assistance like you did in the other follow up and follow up three and
information on how to provide that and there's also assistance plans and
strategies will be listed in canvas so you're going to come up with the plan
and want to think about your agenda for the conference for the meeting with the
department chair and the topics and then Part C you're going to have a conference
with the teacher what do you plan for the conference with miss trip and then
you're going to need to think specifically about how you're going to
explain the assistance plan how you introduce it how do you get buy-in from
the teacher and then what would be the conferred conference style which is also
in Glickman and then you need specific on references to course content as well
Part D is the professional planning so they'll be specific resources for that
to assist you in putting together that plan and then of course the last piece
is the reflection I want you to spend a good amount of time synthesizing a
quality reflection and that your reflection must include these two
standards two and five from ELCC which are on Canvas early on in the course as
a reference and then you need to integrate those two standards with the
Maryland Instructional Leadership Framework make a comparison find the similarities
as you talk about your capacity to supervise this has emphasis on
discussions handouts and of course the Glickman text there's additional
exhibits here observation reports an exhibit 1 and exhibit 2 which you should
read through and dissect and get the information that you can glean about
this teacher as you prepare for the writing of this follow-up paper then
when you look at Part A in the rubric you have elaboration and then course
content in Part A so you want to make sure that you include that and in the
pre-writing that's how it will be structured so that all of your
colleagues are sharing key citations and sources of information so that when you
approach each section you'll have that as a graphic organizer or organizer for
your writing when we look at Part B you need to make clear connections and
recommendations again of course content is mentioned although there's no fair
and ethical which is nice and then an agenda and assistance plan would need to
be included when you go to Part C the conference plan complete conference with
appropriate questions and comments sufficient elaboration demonstrates
understanding of course content that is relevant so you want to infuse that in
Part C when you get to Part D the professional development plan sufficient
elaboration and also connection to course content
Part E
same idea on your reflection sufficient elaboration and then connection to
course content just be sure to address all the components and lastly there is a
component for APA and free of technical errors will correct this to the APA 6
format. Again we will attack this as we get to the last few weeks of the course
and then towards the end the activities will be the prewriting where you
actually dissect the major components and get information and feedback from
your colleagues if you have any questions do not hesitate to contact me

Copyright Program Follow-Up - Duration: 3:08.
RYAN: Aloha again.
With our copyright update program wrapping up this week, we wanted to provide you an
update, and cover additional questions we've received about copyright in general.
Today, I'm here with Diana, our membership director.
DIANA: First, we wanted to remind you that you will have to agree to the updated copyright
terms in REsearch by Thursday, March 1.
Clicking 'I Agree' will take you into REsearch.
If you click 'I'll Do This Later' after March first,
you will be returned to the REsearch login page.
RYAN: As we explained in our previous video, this updated agreement addresses a 'compilation
copyright.' That specifically covers the way HIS stores and arranges MLS information
in its database.
Fewer than two percent of our members have yet to click through this agreement, and we
very much appreciate your consideration and your support of this initiative.
DIANA: And if you have any questions about this program, you can contact me.
RYAN: We want to make sure you're comfortable with the way HIS manages copyrights, and before
closing, we wanted to address a follow up question on this topic.
We'd like to cover scenarios where HIS does assert copyright over listing data itself,
and where it does not.
DIANA: HIS files listing data with the U.S. Copyright office each quarter on behalf of
those members that have agreed to assign the copyrights for their listing information
to us.
This is done via the SLAA, or Subscriber License and Access Agreement.
The SLAA is a standard form that all members sign to participate in the MLS.
RYAN: Section six of the SLAA provides two options.
Option one assigns the copyrights to HIS, and option two grants HIS a license to the
information but keeps copyrights with the broker.
Most brokers and agents choose option one, so most listing data is submitted as part
of our quarterly copyright filing, which provides an important tool in protecting MLS information.
Of course, if a broker selects Option 2, their information is not included in our copyright
filings.
DIANA: Even when copyrights are assigned to us, the SLAA explains that HIS is very limited
in what it can do with it.
First and foremost, subscribers are always free to do whatever they want with the information
they submit to the MLS.
And HIS can only use the information to perform its duties as an MLS in service of its members.
RYAN: And again, if you have questions about any of this, Diana will be happy to help.
And you are free to change your copyright selection at any time, by executing a new
SLAA.
DIANA: And keep an eye out in March, when we will be updating the SLAA to add the same
"compilation copyright" information that we're working on now.
RYAN: We hope you found this video helpful, and if so, we'll keep making videos.
Please don't hesitate to send any feedback our way, because everyone benefits from having
all the information needed to do their work.
Until next time, Mahalo!
DIANA: Thank you!

Follow Your Passions | Curtis - Duration: 0:53.
Going to college, I wanted to find a place
that I could succeed doing the things that I love.
Now I was told that college is where you discover yourself but I've never been one
to confine myself to one thing.
After transferring to BSU, I've learned something very important.
You'll succeed if you keep following your passions and create valuable relationships.
My major is computer science, but on the side, I do a lot of photography and videography.
I think it's important to keep many different interests alive and at BSU I've been able
to accomplish that and more.

Multiply: Leaders to Follow - Duration: 2:15.
"But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself
if only I may finish my course, and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus
to testify to the gospel of the grace of God."
My question to you this morning:
Is there any sense of compelling urgency
about your service for Christ?
Paul said, "I felt constrained,"
I was compelled, I couldn't help but do what I've been called to do.
I felt like the Holy Spirit in me was just driving me along.
And he said, not knowing what was going to happen, in the future.
Singleminded, but not narrowminded.
There's a huge difference.
He was focused on anything and everything
that had anything to do with the cause of Christ,
and he didn't have any time for anything else.
There are so many things to distract us today!
We literally have to fight to make sure our minds are focused on what God wants us to focus on.
Live life on purpose.
Paul said the Spirit of God is driving me.
And I get the sense, he said, that there's danger ahead.
It may be imprisonment, it may be afflictions.
But he said, "none of these things move me,"
Or as folks like to say now "I ain't scared."
I'm going wherever Jesus takes me!
Whatever that looks like.
He said, I don't count my life so dear, and so valuable,
that I can't risk it for the cause of Christ.
Because this is bigger than my life!
That's what he wants from us.
He said, what is important is that I finish my course.
My race.
The path that the Lord laid out for me before he ever created me.
Paul said, what really matters is that I want to finish with joy.
I want to finish well.
I want to take and use what God has given me for His glory and for His kingdom.
His mind was made up.

Follow Up#3 Directions - Duration: 7:45.
this is for follow-up three supervision of instruction I wanted to give you some
of the inside details on this assignment that's coming up so as has been Goucher
practice you need to look at the directions for this assignment you're
going to be using the Chief State School Officer CCSSO teaching standards or the
Danielson framework so that has been added in mostly because the school
systems around Maryland are using the Danielson framework keep in mind you can
use these standards or we can change them to fit for athletics if you're an
in a coaching position so keep in mind that the process it talks about four
parts of the observation process which are listed here so that's the clinical
supervision model which you will be following which is expanded on in the
text you're going to have a pre-conference your and talk about what
you're going to do for the observation with the teacher you're going to make
the observation using a qualitative data collection tool which very well can be
the Danielson framework model which is posted on canvas and then you're going
to conduct a post observation conference to discuss the findings so there's no
need to create an additional tool if you're in athletics there are also tools
already posted online if you want to modify any of the tools that's also fine
but I ask that if you do that that you just note that you've modified the tool
and give credit since you did not devise it if you want to devise your own tool
that certainly is acceptable for Part A you're going to conduct a pre-
observation conference there will be questions that will be posted and
resources that you're going to talk about the lesson with the teacher or the
coach and then you're going to describe what takes place for student learning
and how that will be demonstrated in the lesson which
is listed here when you get to Part B you're going to conduct the observation
using the tool and you are going to stay for the entire length of the classroom
time I would suggest that you do that so that you can get the full flavor of the
entire lesson you're going to look at strengths areas and areas for
improvement which would be any observation you're going to write an
actual summary and you're going to talk about three strengths and one or two
areas for improvement as you go through the lesson then we also I'm going to be
looking for commendations and recommendations using the CEI model
which is here which we will go over in future lessons in this course which is
claimed evidence and impact then when you get to Part C you will have to think
about how you will share the findings you will conduct the post observation
conference and share the written summary and feedback that you created and then
you also describe direct assistance strategies which you could use to
support this teacher and you may not put those in the actual feedback summary
because you're not going to discuss that part with the teacher the feedback
summary is just going to be an observation report then the last section
as has been Goucher tradition is the reflection so you really want to think
about what is important and what took place in this process also of note here
for Part C don't forget to discuss how that the process reflects their and
ethical supervisory practices which you now know is either your NCAA or NIAA
guidelines or the AASA document that was posted earlier in the course for
Part D you need to consider reflections based on your observation
and your ability to observe also Europe angle and the teacher point of view so
you do want to talk to the teacher and get their reaction to you presenting
these summary feedback and conducting the conference you want to think about
areas one or two areas for your continued growth which is something for
you to consider and then how you plan to build capacity in those areas what's
most important here is also that this last piece where it says finally which
many students seem to miss this is almost a whole additional topic you need
to talk about how you would develop a comprehensive professional growth plan
for the faculty to emphasize effective instruction so there will be some
resources on how you do that and also in Chapter 17 in the ninth edition there
are some resources but I don't want you to miss that very key piece it doesn't
have to be pages and pages but you will need to think through the comprehensive
plan professional planning model then when we look at the rubric we're going
to focus in on the pre observation conference and then your pre observation
forum which could be questions that are posted on canvas you need to include
that or you can just put it right into your paper notice there are no
references there or content specific pieces then the observation summary and
the actual notes an organizer and summary are attached so again you can
see in that in or include that at the end of your paper but you do need to
have the actual note-taking that took place no content reference is listed
here when we get to Part C you will talk about the direct assistance strategies
identified and described as you do your reflection and then you're going to give
a rationale do you need to sate the text here and
then also fair and ethical practices need to be addressed and included that's
for Part C and then we get down to Part D same idea with the reflection and this
comprehensive growth plan please do not forget that and then use the text and
readings to support the discussion so that reflection always is of major
emphasis six points maximum so you really do want to spend a bit of time
explaining and reflecting on the process and including the references which in
this case really is just the text to support your writing and then there is
the last piece where you do want to emphasize being free of errors and
following APA format as needed and so that will be follow-up three if you have
questions please do not hesitate to call text or email
