How To Make a LED Cube With Arduino (Modified) Tutorial ✔️ - Duration: 6:40.

whatsup guys gerges here back with another video today I'm gonna show you how

you can easily create any good led cube like this one so let's get right into it

first thing of all we're gonna need an Arduino 20 kilo ohm resistors three of

them nine 220 ohms resistor LEDs three by three by three means 27 led's

and three transistors we're gonna use the 2n2222a transistor alright and

also you can need some wires and for them and for the things that you can use

are scissor solder iron some solder and we're also gonna need a PCB alright

be sure to watch the full video and I will link down below all the things that

I'm gonna use in this video alright and you can also find the link to download

this schematics and how we gonna wire up all the things all right

so now I'm gonna put it a time-lapse on it and I will show you how I did it mine

okay so first thing what you're gonna need

get your LED out

bend the negative lead all right better and it depends on your only led lag how

your energy cube will turn out all right how big it's gonna turn out right a

flathead screwdriver something like that and press it

you

okay guys so I saw there's also a small washer but yeah another than less we

made it as a form of a cube now I'm gonna also make this or tangle

kind of thing whatever get your PCB and push it in

here and solder it here so let's do it

and now what you really need to connect is get your get this 220 ohm resistance

and place nine of them here and connect it with those nine alright so we're

gonna do that right now oh wait wait wait you got another idea

now you live the society get your Arduino and this schematic shows us

those nine pins here and here gonna be removing those two and soldiering direct

those resistors that's to there pat alright and the rest of all the wires

are gonna so they're also direct so we're gonna remove this too and we can

solder them side this is optionally you can just plug

them here in if you want you but I'm gonna design a case also for this one so

I don't mind okay guys so we finished building it out of the way those plastic

things alright and now we're going to and those 220 ohm resistor to their

leaves number two till all the way dose and

we're gonna trim it and solder it to it and I will be right back okay so I am

now gonna make all those resistance resistors alright and I'm gonna put the

transistors here and connected to those,

as shown and the negative also as shown

and there's three other wives for the layers I'm gonna just let it stick it

out right here and I'm gonna connect it from here to the layers right here so

that we don't use the excess cord and just cut it leave it aside and send down

those things and I'll be right back with the finished product and as you can see

guys we finally made it if the LED cube is working properly just

fine and yeh guys I'm gonna be putting a piece of cardboard or black plastic in

here under to prevent shorts thanks guys a lot for watching hope you liked it be

sure to LIKE the video if you liked it and subscribe for more awesome videos

like this one catch you guys in the next one peace out

How to use Postman - Field Operations API - Duration: 5:11.

So I've already set up my account

within Postman, in order to provide my

Client key and Secret as well as I've

established an OAuth Token.

So my first call is just going to be to the

John Deere platform API.

And I'm specifically asking for

JSON responses based on my headers.

And this is the API catalog response.

In it, we should see that organizations link

And in this case I'm interested specifically in

an organization called

Develop with Deere 2016

which I can find in a list.

And I'm going to now look at the list of

fields owned by that organization

by following the fields link.

And then follow "fieldOperation".

And in this case we can see that

the field has a total of 43 operations

that have been performed on it.

Some of them

being "harvest"

In this case a Corn dating back to 2013

and then we've got seeding events

as well

and you can see additional years

as we start scrolling down.

If you'd like to filter down to more specific data

there are request parameters supported by

this endpoint as well and

those are documented on the

"developer.deere.com" website.

Lastly, we're looking at a field operation

we talked about that async shape file

link that you can follow.

Note that there's also a shape file link

this was our first attempt at

supporting shape file downloads

and it is a synchronous API.

We are transitioning towards the

asynchronous API instead in order to

support larger data sets.

If I follow this link

I can see

an example of how to interact with this API.

This one is a little different than the others

in that

when I click it I get the status of 202 Accepted

this is because of asynchronous nature of the API.

Basically it means that John Deere has

received the request and we are currently to

create that shapefile extract.

If you make additional calls to this API

eventually you should see a successful response

with a re-directable link.

In this case I've intentionally gotten

a bad request.

The reason for this is that we have

done an automatic redirect in postman

and the expected response is actually a

307 temporary redirect from our API.

If you're using postman the way to get

around this is to install the interceptor tool,

turning it ON and then in your settings

you can select

build it to automatically follow redirects

and turn it OFF.

Now you can see the actual API response

which is a 307 Temporary Redirect

and if we look at the response headers

we should see the location header.

This is where you can go in order to

download the actual shape file.

How to: Dry brushing technique - Chalk paint - Duration: 4:08.

Dry brushing technique

Hello!

Today, I thought I'd show you how to dry brush

I painted this a couple of days ago

First I painted it with a pale pink color

and then I sealed the paint with black wax

And as you can see here

(click up in the corner to see a video on how to apply dark waxes)

As you can see, the wax - and the same if you make a so-called Wash-

gets down in patterns like this

... and highlights them ...

But, when doing a dry brush,

you can think of make-up, as you put on make-up

Highlight: One should emphasize what stands out; nose, cheekbone, and so on

What you do is to put it on edges so that you emphasize

the raised parts of the patterns instead

so it's a reverse effect, one can say

What I'm going to do is to lighten this up a bit

so I will put on a

dry brush with white paint

This will be super cute!

And to that I have taken a

very ugly brush

... again ... I like to dry brush with a bad, very dry brush

I think it gives a bit more effect

So!

What I do then ...

is that i

dip my brush in the paint, just a little bit

and then I wipe off my brush

because I want a very dry brush

There!

Then I go along the edges,

and the corners

in slightly different directions

Very fastened light movements

Quilling Lowercase Letter a and How To Quill a Feather Tutorial - Duration: 36:28.

Hello, I'm Cecelia Louie of Paper Zen. In this video I'm going to be showing you

how to quill the outline for the lowercase letter a. I've always found the

lowercase letters to be cuter than their uppercase counterparts. I find the upper

case letters tend to look more rigid and structured because of all the straight

sides, but just because lowercase letters are cute, doesn't mean it's easier for

quilling. It's actually much more challenging to deal with all these

curves. If you'd like to try quilling the lowercase letter a, visit my blog and

download the free template. In case you didn't know I also offer a free template

for the uppercase letter A, shown in another video called "Quilling Letter A,

How to Outline". So if you haven't tried quilling letters yet, what are you waiting

for? And let me know what you think in the comments below. I want to know if you

think it's too difficult to deal with or whether you're really enjoying the look,

regardless of the effort. I haven't written a book of lowercase letters yet,

because I want to know if there's enough interest firs. To be honest with you, it

takes a while for me to write a book of quilling patterns and if I get an

overwhelming response from people telling me they want this, then I'm up

for the challenge. In your free download, you'll see two pages, and I'm just going

to set this one aside for now, and we'll come back to that later. This sheet here

gives you all the measurements of the letter A, and as you can see the number 1

corresponds with the number 1 here, so you know exactly what part of the letter

you're tracing. So I'm just going to lay my strip on top of this template, and

take my quilling needle, and basically score along all those lines. When you

come to here, you see the scissor icon and that's where you're going to cut. Now

if you ever came across my one of my other patterns in my book, and there's a

return arrow, it just means to pick this up and continue measuring along the

second row until you see another scissor icon. After you've finished scoring along

these lines onto your strip, it's time to fold. Now when you go to fold,

make sure that your fingers are touching these edges, so that you bring them

in alignment with one another; so in other words we don't want to fold

askew. So in other words something like that. Make sure your fingers help you

press these edges together so that we're folding exactly 90 degrees along the

fold line. When you fold it at a perfect 90 degrees, what you're going to find is

that when you go to glue, everything is lining up. You want it to be completely

in sync with one another. If you had it just a little askew, one would be up, and

you'd be forcing yourself when you go to glue. Now that we've got all our score

lines folded, let's go and shape it to this letter. So as you can imagine the

side for number one is right here, and number two goes up, and now we need to

fold it the opposite way to start number three. When we go to make this curve here,

we could use a quilling needle, but actually I prefer to use a crochet hook,

because I prefer this larger circumference. I find it easier to

manipulate a larger curve like that, but it's up to you; and what I do is, I grab

along that fold line and just soften to that next fold, which is right there. So

as I soften, and what what I mean by soften is, I'm just drawing the tool

against my finger and you know, just kind of drawing it along the length of that

strip; and what that does is it softens all the fibers, and you can see here, that

there still needs to be some more. So instead of just softly doing it now, I'm

really giving it a little bit of pressure against my finger. You can see

how it makes a much more acute angle. Well not acute angle, but more of a

quite a bit more dramatic curve to that, and then I want it to dip a

little bit more, you can see how it's not quite dipping right there.

So I'm just going to pick that up and just rub right there.

You can see that taking shape, and now that I have that part done, along the

bottom, you can see it's almost too tight here. That's actually quite easy to fix.

We'll just kind of soften the fibers back because paper pulp is quite

forgiving, and that's pretty much matching that angle so now I'm going to

fold the opposite way, and soften in that direction,

and what I'm doing here is placing it against my finger and really rubbing a

little bit harder, because I want a distinctive arc right there.

Number 5 is pretty straightforward, then we come down to 6, where we want

to keep this part of the strip straight. So we're just going to soften to about

there, and I would say at least a little bit more than halfway. So I'm going to

pick up my strip and just soften a little bit more than halfway, and then I

tend to just put it back down to gauge how far I am. So a little bit longer

throughout the strip and very gentle, very gentle. It's a very soft arc here.

So you can see as I follow the arc that it's coming out here. That tells me that

this part of the strip here needs more softening – just gentle. You don't want to

put the softening into all of this part that's supposed to be straight;

and that's how we tame your dragon! Well your paper which is a lot easier than a

dragon, don't you think so I think? Pretty much... that's there. I'm going to be okay

with that. Now for this little piece; and you can decide whether – because it's only

two segments – you decide whether you want to go this way or the other way. It

doesn't matter really, but I tend to... of the joins that I'm going to make, I tend

to put the join on the bottom side, because visually, when people look at a

quilling piece there, they tend to look from above more than from below. So any

chance I get, I try to hide my seam on the bottom. So in other words, I want,

you know, this part to start at this part right here, at this corner not that

corner;

and I can tell right off the bat – I need to rub quite a bit more significantly,

right there. We want the strip to basically be as docile as possible,

before we go to glue, so that gluing is going to be easier. I think that's pretty

much it. I forgot to mention the paper that I'm using for all my letters is the

thickness of a 1/4 inch here, and I'm cutting it out of Canson Mi-Teintes

paper which is a little bit thicker than conventional quilling paper. I find it

holds it's shape over a larger area where the expanse is not held by any shapes

but really, it's just on edge by itself. To glue this corner together, I'm just

going to use a plastic card, and run a small bead of glue down the side,

and then I'm going to touch the glue with my edge just a little bit right

there. Just that amount and bring those edges together,

and with my two fingers, I'm again making sure that these edges align. We don't

want them off shifted from one another,

and when I'm rubbing with my tool here, like this I'm physically kind of helping

the corners align right there.

Now I'm just fussing a little bit because there is a bit of an angle to

this part of the shape. It's not straight across. It's more down a little

bit, so I'm just kind of gently using my fingers to squeeze exactly where I need

that shape to go down, and that's how you get it to tame that way. Now we're ready

to glue the outline to the card, so let's bring back the other template. If you

have my book, Quilling Letters, you know that all the letters are on a 6 inch

square. That was so that it's easy for you to align onto scrapbook cardstock

which is typically 12 x 12, and if you cut it in half, and then fold that

in half, you have an exact card; because this is a lowercase letter and I plan on

giving it to someone whose name starts with the letter A, I'm just going

to do it onto a, 8.5 x 11 inch sheet of paper. Well, not

paper, this is cardstock actually. It's ivory colored cardstock and what I've

done is I've cut it in half, and then I folded it in half, and now I've got two

cards ready to go. Then I found a sunny window and I put this card against my

outline, and when you see it through the sun you can see the outline on the

opposite side, and I basically use some removable tape, and tape down those sides,

turn it over, and then I used a dried up pen, and basically inscribed heavily on

to this outline, and when you remove the template, then you've got your outline

traced onto your card. OK, now that my quilling paper is shaped, and my outline

has been traced to my card, I'm ready to glue these two together. The glue that I

tend to like using most is Aleene's Original Tacky Glue because it's super

thick, and it dries clear; and everyone's got

their own type of glue that they like, but this is tends to work well for

me. So I'm just going to put a bead down on this plastic card, and this plastic

card is actually very thin, so I'm going to use it to slide underneath some of the

strips as you'll see in a moment, and I'm just going to smear this stream

down into a flatter puddle, and that way we don't get any glue going up the sides

of your strip. I'm just going to work on the inner shape first, so I'm going to

put the outer shape off to the side, turn this guy to the side, so I can hopefully

see the outline, and I'm sure you guys are going to be working in better light

surroundings that I've got.

All right, that part was pretty easy wasn't it? So now that we've got the

inner shape down, we're going to work on the outer shape, and I'm going to secure

this part first, and then this part second, so I'm just going to dip the

straight parts into the glue first, and because my light is going the other way,

and it's easier for me to see there, I'm just going to turn it around,

and I forgot to do this, but actually I have some post-it notes and I had

actually meant to show you a way to help align your straight edges, because your eye

is going to be able to see how these edges here align, and luckily let's get

this guy out of the way first,

luckily my eyeballs seem to have aligned that part OK, but that's kind of a key

part, because your eye is going to figure it out – that you know, this one's a little

bit this way, that way; so you know it's that perfectionist and me I guess and

luckily for this example, it's pretty, pretty OK, and then as this part comes

to here, then you know again, it's going to help me visually align that perfect;

and not a little here not a little there,

Post-it Notes! I don't know what we did without that,

and again hopefully you guys are going to have better lighting than me in here.

It's like "guess where that's going to be". Sometimes what I do is, I kind of use

the motion with my hands before I actually have any glue there, and then

that way it's almost like, I don't know, it's like a practice cut. So I'm

practice gluing, and so I'm just going to slip this card underneath, just half of

the curve, and then that way I'm not stressed out about the whole curve, and

needing to glue that down. I find if you work in stages, then it's less

hyperventilation I guess. You just don't need that kind of stress in your life, do

we?

So again I'm just going to see where this is going to end up, before I

actually have the glue on the strip.

It's getting a little warm here, so my glue is drying a little faster than

normal, and again because my post-it note is here, it's helping me visually align

that. Now this guy's in my way so I'm just going to bend that corner, because

it's going to be forgiving. It's going to allow me to tell it where to go for now,

and I want that part to be glued like that, and I'm just going to put down some

fresh glue, because not liking this skin that's developing on my puddle. Anytime

you have little cobwebs of glue, that's an indication to put down some new, fresh

glue. Fresh glue is really key. You don't want little spider web parts to have to

deal with afterwards, and for the sake of the video I'm just using the same card,

but you know if you have more time, and patience, it's probably best that you use

a brand new card, or not a brand new card but one that's clean anyway. That's what

I like about using the plastic. I can re-use it again, and again.

So you see, this is where that spiderweb part I was talking about. This right here,

but luckily that part is dried, so it's easy enough to take away. So let's fix

this straight edge now, and I only want to dip the glue just on that straight

portion, right? So right on that corner,

and I'm just going to use this piece to just hold it in place, so that my strip

here doesn't, you know go too short, or go too long, and just as it meets up with

that other end of the strip, because this curve, it does provide some flexibility.

When you go to put it down, so I just wanted to make my

placement to be true.

Again I guess it's kind of warm here,

Spidy sense is tingling here,

and sometimes, when before you press all the way, I just use this straight

edge, just to make sure, this is the straightest part, so I might

as well borrow some help from this guy.

Now just to finish it off, I'm just going to pick up a little bit of glue on my tool,

and brush it alongside that corner piece,

and bring those two edges together to finish off your Letter a!

My friend loves peacock feathers, and I thought I would incorporate a feather

into this Lowercase Letter a, and I don't have any measurements to give you guys,

and I wasn't actually going to film this portion, but as I went along I thought,

"Well, I'll just explain this part as best as I can, and show you how I go about

eyeballing elements like this, and I apologize – please don't get frustrated

with me. I just don't measure these things.

I've found that when I try to go scientific, it's kind of like the two sides of my

brain are arguing with one another. So if you'll bear with me, you can watch how I

work, and I'll try my best to explain what it is that I'm eyeballing to

achieve the results that I'm getting, because if I were to measure this it

would take me too long to set up a pattern, and things like that. This is

just more of a one-off that I'm throwing out and I'm hoping that maybe you'll

still learn something from watching how I go about thinking about what I'm doing.

OK, so I started looking at the letter A and because this is such a vertical

area, I felt that was the best part of where the feather could come out. Now

if I had known I was going to make a feather, I probably would have moved my

letter a down a little bit but I think she'll be forgiving of me making

it a little off-center. Maybe I'll extend this down a little

further, I'm not sure just yet, that's how a lot of these things are sometimes. I

just don't plan that far ahead, so to get this stroke here, and also, nothing here

is glued down. Everything is just sort of eyeballed in place right now. The only

thing that's glued down is the letter A. So to achieve that stroke right there,

and who knows? Maybe by the time I shoot the cover for this video, this card might

look completely different. That's the part of the creative process that makes

it so wild and unplanned, and I find that you know,

that's how my best work comes about. So basically ignoring that part, I just kind

of soften a strip, and see. "Do I like the arc that's coming out of here?" So let me

just take this out of the way, and hopefully that's going to clean up the

visual palette here. So I start by laying down the strip and imagining "OK, I

think I like the feather coming to about there, so I'm just going to snip my paper

here, place it back on the letter, and put my fingers where I expect to intersect

there,

and try to imagine having that part continuing; and when I looked up some

images of feathers online I just kind of mimicked how that shape looks, and how it

looks to me, I'm visualizing having it kind of feathery soft, disappearing into

nothingness. So to achieve that, all I did was taper the edge of the paper.

Now the other the other one I had actually made, was quite a lot larger so

my ratio might be off. I think maybe because I'm trying to make it a little

bit closer to the letter and not so high, so bear with me I'm just kind of

figuring out as I go. I think I still prefer that longer piece and

that's the thing you know, it's just paper this is all sort of

playing as you go, and kind of go along if it's too short, too long it's

really easy to just adjust. Don't get locked into using that strip just

because you cut it. I think I still like that original one I think, because I was

using my phone to look at a feather and of course right now I'm using it to film.

So I can't have both, but that's how I created that arc, and so

then I just need to mirror on the other side and again, just taper and the beauty

of tapering is, it's kind of cool when you look at it from the side. It just

looks like the strip is fading into nothingness and I quite like that effect.

I did it first on some fireworks that I needed for a Mickey Mouse project. See how

this one to me now it looks obviously too long for that, so it's really easy to

adjust for that. Just trim off the excess. These are the little bits and pieces

that you end up throwing away, but it's kind of worth it anyway. So the first

time I ever did like a tapered kind of look was for some fireworks on a Mickey

Mouse project. I'll leave a link below to to lead you to my blog where you can

watch what I did back then, quite a number of years ago. So that's all I did

with some more strips all around it, just basically tapered it and softened it to

give that feathery outlining look. Now I don't know how this is all going to turn

out later, but I'm just going to set that part aside and explain how I did this

inner part. So to create this inside shape here, I've got quite a number of

colors right next to one another. I'm going to start with the dark blue here,

and what is that? About an inch, I guess.

I'm just going to soften the strip,

OK, I don't think, maybe that's a bit too long. When you rub like this, the ends

will come up and meet up with one another.

I'm going to soften the teal strip,

and I'm just going to cut – it's a little longer than I need right now, but I just

need it to be a little smaller, to make it easier to handle. I'm going to soften

that strip and this is what you would call this shape? A rounded

heart I guess; I'm just going to add some glue on the bottom of that.

I'm just going to smear it slightly to get the glue on the full edge of that

light blue,

and try to imagine where you need to cut. Then put your fingers there, and it's a

little warm here tonight, so my glue is drying faster than normal, and make those

two edges meet up.

Then I'm going to do the orange shape, which is kind of an oval, kind of like an

egg actually, and I don't want to build up all my seams right there, so I'm just

going to offset that a little bit. Why? I'm not sure. It's kind

of like when I was crocheting, and if any of you guys are crocheters out there,

you don't want to increase your circles in the same area. Then you'll see a join

eventually. So I guess that's the same concept. I don't know. So I'm just going

to adjust until I see that sort of egg ratio, and with my fingers I'm just going

to notch right there so I can see where I want to cut.

Now that I see the two side-by-side, I realize I've made this one quite a bit

larger, but I guess you guys can adjust as you see fit for your project. Now I'm

just going to circle that orange with a green. It kind of reminds me of you know,

those quilling strips that have two colors on either side. So I

guess this is kind of like making your own and in this case I'm going to offset

that join back in the middle again, and you know it's going to be hidden by the

time you glue it down to here. No one's going to see that. Oh and then in this

case, because my green is surrounding the orange, I actually want to put glue along

the entire strip, and in this case we can smear it with this edge of the green,

and again I'm just using my fingernail to notch where I'm guessing it's needing to

end – where it's gonna butt up against the other edge; and again, if yours doesn't

meet up, it's not a big deal. It's going to be completely hidden, and

that's how I created that guy; but obviously larger. See, this is what I mean.

I kind of eyeballed things as I went, and because I don't have measurements don't

get upset with me. I hope you enjoyed watching me make the feather anyway.

I'm pretty sure it's obvious by now that I changed up the letter to highlight it a

bit more. I really wanted the letter to stand out from the feather, so I lined it

in orange instead. It picks up some of the orange in the middle of the feather,

and if you're curious how I did the outline, in the light green here, just

look at the letter R video. I detail how to do that with the clean corners and I

hope you enjoyed watching how to make these tapered edges; and if you ended up

incorporating the feathered soft fading look in one of your projects, I'd love to

see it one day. So give it a try! Let me know how it goes, and whether

you'd like a book of what lowercase letters. As always your comments are what

fuels me. I'm inspired by your feedback! I want to keep improving what I do. Tell me

which tip is the one that looks new to you? Or let me know what you'd like to

see in future videos. Or ask me a question! I'll try to my best to answer.

How to Jailbreak Nintendo Switch | Homebrew Launcher Appstore + Emulators | ALL FIRMWARES - Duration: 9:53.

What's up guys I'm back again with another video and today

I'm actually going to be doing the part of switch hacking that people are probably most excited to see

and that's gonna be getting the homebrew running and the reason I waited to release this video was because the sleep mode on

The switch actually did not work until the you know the last week or so

And I wanted to make sure that it worked well enough that most people are gonna be happy using it

Before if you put your switch into sleep mode

It would actually freeze and then you'd have to retail break it or if you restarted your switch

It would not be able to use the homebrew launcher that was fixed

Thanks to the developers and really thank you to you guys. You guys are awesome. But let's go ahead and get started on this and

Move from there. So the first thing you have to do is put your SD card

Micro SD for the switch put it into your computer

and then what you're gonna do is copy the files that you need over to it and

I'll put a drive link. So you can download these files in the description. It'll have two folders will be the switch root

Folder which is your SD card files and then the fuse a launcher files

Which you'll be able to download them all so as simply as it is

Select all the files from the SD

Switch root folder files folder whatever you want to call it drop that on the root of your SD card

Should only take a couple seconds

and

Then all you have to do is run this command right here

sudo python 3 dot slash fuse a launcher pi and

the name of the payload in my case is payload op in and

Once you do that hit enter type in your password

and

then on

The computer side of things were actually done so we can go ahead and close that

But we're gonna continue on and on the switch

I'm actually gonna pull out my phone here so I can get a quick video of this

so once we get over to the switch after we get our successful message from a few say this is what you should see and

To control this menu, you just use the power button to select and then up to navigate the menu

So if you want to use some of the other tools that come in this payload

Such as dumping your nan stuff like that console info you can do that in here

You can reboot into recovery or normal mode or just shut off your console, which is also nice

but what we're gonna do is go up here to launch firmware and then scroll down using those volume keys again down to

cfw just make sure that you guys can see the

cfw click that power button again and

Then should go through that

And then your switch should boot up as normal or you know supposedly as normal

But we'll have the homebrew launcher enabled that I'm just putting up my other droidcon in

And then our switch should boot

up

Okay, so

Open your switch and then to launch

You my computer just

click on the album icon and launch it and

Then we should get successfully launched into the homebrew menu

So from here an app that's included in the SD card files folder that I have is the homegroup app store

so you can go in here and launch that and

Sometimes I've noticed that the switch apps tour won't launch

It's not always only sometimes if it hangs like this for too long

Just go ahead and click the home button and then try it again. And I don't know why it does this. It just does sometimes

if you tap the

icon again and

There we go now you can see it's actually loading something so it does take a second

But if the loading bar doesn't progress pretty quickly. I usually just try doing it again and then it continues up

All right, so what this basically is is

it's like Cydia for jailbroken devices is like the closest thing that I can relate it to and

All you need to do to download the things that you want. It's quite literally tap on it and then click download

So the two things that I'm gonna recommend that you download our FTP D

Which although this is a little bit buggy right now, you have to go and find the IP address of your switch in

Console settings the IP it reads out on certain versions of switch OS is incorrect

It has something to do with the library. Someone was trying to explain it to me, but I didn't quite follow

I just know you have to find the IP address in the switch settings and then it does work

but then the other one that I also know works is

Right here

And that is VBA next and you just want to make sure you get the version that's 0.6 as of right now

you know that might change but

Something that's really great about this switch app store call it is that it will actually update the apps when an update is released

So it is a really really awesome piece of software to have on your switch

Especially now that we have sleep mode so we don't need to really use a computer much anymore

So once that's done go ahead and click the home button. You can click

the album and

Then you should have the other apps that now show up here

so I'll show you quickly FTP D and

Then you see up here

It shows 0 0 0 0

That's not the correct IP address

You'd have to use the one that your switch has by checking system settings and then using an FTP server

To transfer files to and from your switch. If you don't know what I'm talking about stay away from it. That's all I'm gonna say

So as a quick afterthought, I figured I might as well show people how to use

FTP and

again, like I said

if you don't really know what FTP servers are you shouldn't be messing with this but it is a really nice way to

Wirelessly transfer files without having to take the SD card out of your switch, which would cause you to have to read

Install the payload

so to use this just open the like you saw me open in the video and then once it shows 0 dot 0 dot 0

Or if it does show your correct IP

You're gonna need to use a FTP client like filezilla and type in the IP address on

the client and

Then the port that it shows on there was 5,000

So you go ahead and connect and then if you actually look on your switch screen

You'll see some stuff pop up. And then if you go into the switch folder and into the roms folder

You can actually just download

files so

You know, I already have my key

What's it called my roms on there?

but if I were to copy say a zip file of one of the runs that I have and by the way

I do not support piracy

I have owned all of these games and if you don't believe me, yeah, that's a shame

but I've absolutely owned the free pokemons and

Medabots was a pretty fun game that I've actually I don't remember where I got it

I think I got it at a flea market. I

Was like and there's something like that

It was a long time ago and it just turned out to be a really good game and I've always enjoyed

so don't promote piracy the same but

Transfer a zip file on there just to show you guys and I actually don't think that files work

But right here you now see that the zip file shows up and then if we look on the switch itself

You'll see some messages that show that so it's really not too bad and you can actually delete files from here, too

Which is really great

Just like that. You can delete it

And now when you go you don't have to reboot or anything

You can just disconnect from here and go straight into the emulator and play the game. There's a really really great feature

So let's go back to the video and contend that the real thing that people are trying to see is right in here

The V being jump cut. I got a call of that

But what this is is your ROM directory

So once you're in here you would go and you would search for wherever it is

And if you use the folder that I gave you

You can just store your roms in this roms folder and then launch a game

So I don't have any games on here literally showing you with the exact stuff that I gave you

But if you want to avoid any hassle, just go ahead and throw some roms in that folder before you

Take your SD card out of your computer. And I know I'm not gonna show working, but I promise you it works

I'll throw in a quick little like screen shot or something to prove that it works

But this is just to show you guys how to get it running on your own

so as I said

It's really not too bad to get this running right now

the next video that I think I'm gonna release on this is gonna be actually

The custom firmware the full custom firmware called atmosphere that's being worked on right now

But until then unless there's anything really

Important or really? Cool that I think people should see I think that's all I'm gonna need to do for this

So enjoy your emulators. Enjoy your home brew

And like I said in the last video we're finally getting to enjoy the switch the way it should be. Peace out guys

How a Small Group of Quaker Activists Took on PNC Bank and Won - Duration: 11:21.

It was actually one of our young non-Quaker members who made the suggestion.

This young member said, "Let's have Quaker-style worship in bank lobbies."

And so we started doing that and many people found it to be an extremely profound experience

of prayer, sitting on the floor… even if the manager is calling security.

Quakers in my yearly meeting, Philadelphia Yearly Meeting, had for years been struggling

with the challenge of a climate that's going increasingly out of control.

There was a gathering of Philadelphia-area Quakers in the summer of 2009 when everyone

was abuzz around, "what do we do about climate change?

What does stewardship mean to us as Friends?"

And so out of that, people started meeting in living rooms.

It was mostly Quakers who were meeting, though not all, saying, "what would it look like

for us to draw on this legacy of being very powerful people who were disrupting a system

that's harming us?"

And so out of that was born this group, Earth Quaker Action Team.

The Earth Quaker Action Team tried to figure out where to start if we had this passion

about doing something to shift the environment.

Also there was this analysis growing that the economy is wrapped up in what we do with

the environment.

So in looking around and sampling potential places to start, PNC showed up.

PNC Bank was a bank that a lot of Quaker organizations had money with because they were originally

founded by this merger of a Quaker bank and an additional bank.

As a target it made a lot of sense because there was this connection to a number of different

Quaker organizations and communities that had their money with PNC.

Our demand to PNC was that they stop funding mountaintop removal coal mining.

Mountaintop removal coal mining is not your typical coal mining.

You are razing the top of a mountain.

You are blowing it up and going in and picking out the little bits of coal.

It takes very few jobs.

The entire mountain can get taken apart by 18 people.

So where traditional coal mining was hundreds to thousands of jobs, this was reducing jobs

to about 18.

The downside on top of just coal mining is that the top of that mountain gets pushed

into the valley next to the mountain, which is where the water beds are.

And so people's water sources get poisoned by minerals that are in the ground that get

activated by the dynamite process and the moving process.

It's a lot of machinery; it's very capital-intensive.

So banks have been pretty majorly part of the ability to do this kind of coal mining.

And what we found is that PNC Bank was a major funder of mountaintop-removal coal mining

in Appalachia.

So any way you look at it, this is an offense against the planet.

It's an offense against people.

It's where economic justice and climate justice coincide.

Let's tackle it.

This bank that had Quaker roots, this bank that called itself the greenest bank in the

business was in fact blowing up mountains to get coal which is a major contributor to

climate change.

So we thought, "that's not cool!

We can't let that slide."

Calling on our own belief in our integrity, we decided to call them out on it.

So we looked at each other and said, "Who better than Quakers to tackle a formerly Quaker

bank and tell it, 'Stop doing this nasty thing.'?"

So we went and saw the regional president and said, "Stop doing this nasty thing."

And he was visibly angry with us for the sheer arrogance of telling a bank what to do, because

bankers like to think that they are in charge of the universe.

So we understood that it's going to take a lot of pressure and so we embarked on a

campaign that increasingly damaged the brand of that bank.

It went from writing letters, speaking out at shareholders meetings—like going to the

Q&A session and saying there's a problem here.

From there, we kept going.

We said, "You can't stop us from sharing the truth with people."

And so there came a point where people were going into bank lobbies and holding meeting

for worship and really praying for PNC to shift to the values that it declared it had.

We walked from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh across Pennsylvania, we held worship in PNC's

shareholders meeting.

At one point we shut down a shareholders' meeting in about 15 minutes and then the next

year PNC scheduled their shareholder meeting in Tampa, Florida, and it was through a rich

network of Quakers that we showed up in Tampa, Florida, and some Florida Quakers showed up

and disrupted the shareholders' meeting there.

We did 125 actions during this campaign.

It involved a 200-mile walk across Pennsylvania to confront them in their headquarters in

Pittsburgh.

We grew the campaign from a living-room size to 13 states.

It became very clear to the top leadership of PNC by year 4 that there was no stopping

us.

It was just incredibly powerful to see people stepping up and finding out that as strange

as it may seem to have Quaker meeting in the lobby of a bank, there's something incredibly

powerful about that—that we actually get to be in spaces that corporations want us

to think we can't, it's not our place—when in fact, it is our place.

It is our place.

Toward the end of the "Bank Like Appalachia Matters" campaign—like the last 3 or 4

months—our allies who knew more about investment and were watching PNC started to give us word

that they were probably going to stop.

I don't think any of us quite really believed it.

I know I didn't quite believe it.

After 5 years and over 125 actions, PNC changed their policy on mountaintop removal coal mining.

Part of what's dramatic about that is to realize that this is a bank that nets over

4 billion dollars a year, and our little group had an annual budget of about $100,000.

It's incredibly satisfying to know that you've come so far.

We came from taking on this task that seems a bit impossible: taking on a large corporate

bank and making demands that they didn't want to meet and actively did not meet for

4 or 5 years, and then them yielding to us.

That's a very powerful feeling.

For me, the success of challenging PNC is more a success not for Earth Quaker Action

Team but for people fighting for justice.

Being able to have that story, to share that story with others and to remember that we

actually can win is huge.

It was just sort of this moment of gratitude for everyone who had committed to

the campaign, and for me just clarity that we can't accept the world the way it is.

It can be changed, so we have to set ourselves to that task.

Five years.

125 actions.

It was a very very exciting campaign.

People learned so much from it.

That it's possible to tackle the 7th largest bank in the country when you're an organization

that's big enough to fit in a living room.

It takes persistence.

And it takes, also, tremendous concentration of effort on the part of the participants.

What we found was that by focusing on a particular target with a particular demand, and then

as individuals focusing our energy on one campaign, we were able to move a kind of mountain.

The bank was.

I never felt hate in my heart for anyone at PNC Bank.

I think what I felt was conviction.

I felt that this was the most important thing I could be doing in that moment.

Holding a bank accountable for destruction was a pretty powerful way to bring love into

the world.

To me, there was an integrity in using our actions and not just our words to say, "This

isn't acceptable.

And we know and believe that you can do better."

We Quakers actually have in our legacy, in our history—it's in our DNA to take on,

directly, the power systems.

We can be troublemakers again, and in fact we must be troublemakers again.

Because we worship in silence and we use passive resistance and all of these things, we forget

that Quakers are very bold and pretty outspoken and like to raise a lot of hell.

That's what EQAT does.

That's what they did with the PNC bank campaign.

That's what they continue to do.

And I think that's a really important role for Quakers to play in society.

I think that Quakers need to cause a ruckus

and do the right thing.
