Falls are about the sixth or seventh

leading cause of death in this country

and this is a very critical area of

research because it is so common and it so

often results in serious injury. One of

the exciting interventions that we are

studying is Tai Chi for its effect on

balance and mobility. We introduced

Tai Chi in our housing facilities, did a

12-week intervention in which they

practiced Tai Chi for two days out of

every week and compared their function

at the end of this 12 weeks to a group

of people who just sat in educational

classes. And lo and behold, Tai Chi not

only improved gait and balance, but

improved their overall functional ability.

I found the benefits for Tai Chi for me

was relaxation, lowering my blood

pressure for sure. The movements are slow,

it keeps me mindful of what I'm doing

all the time and it helps your

thinking, I feel.

So we want to improve

the brain's ability to adapt to our

local environment and we're doing that

many different ways, but one of the most

exciting areas I think is electrical

stimulation of the brain. It doesn't hurt,

it's as though you've taken a little

small battery and you've applied it to

the forehead. This electrical stimulation

can have great impact on mobility, on

balance, on the ability to think and to

do two tasks at the same time, so that

someday I'll be sitting at this desk

feeling tired, perhaps after a meal, and

all I have to do is just attach a little

battery to my forehead to get a boost.

WHAT I EAT IN A DAY (NO LIES) - MODEL DIET - Duration: 6:38.

Alright.

I'm officially out of food in the fridge.

I have to go to the supermarket. And many of you...

Well..."many"...

Not really "many"

As some of you asked me;

What I eat in a day

What do I eat in a day??

I'm gonna show you what I really eat

in a day, or

or at least have an idea of

the type of food I eat...

And in the meanwhile I make montages of my breakfast.

I usually eat; natural yogurt

with a bit of honey, to make it sweet

And muesli

I like it to have some nuts to give it a

punch of flavour.

And this keeps me full for a while

Other times I eat my banana pancakes.

I already featured them in another video, but I will

make another montage because

I love them!

LOVE

The good thing about it, it's that

you only need 3 ingredients, and that's it.

And kills your hunger.

Something that I learned about it

you have to mash the banana

Don't try to blend it.

Don't go for the fast way.

You really need to mash it like a puree.

So when you add the 2 eggs, the consistency

is the right one for pancakes.

You can see that mines turned out a bit black.

That's because I'm not very used to this stove

So...

I burnt them a bit..

I will admit it.

They don't look great.

But you could still eat them!

Other times I eat toasts with white cheese for breakfast...

Depends..It all depends on the day..

But well..

I'm going to the market to buy some stuff..

That's cute.

Look at me there.

Still in my pijamas.

That's all mine.

Different veggies.

Some protein. Meat, fish..

eggs..

Different fruits..

Now, if I'm on the go

and need to lunch, or I get hungry..

I try to eat a salad somewhere.

-Oh shiiiiit!

Do you want to share?

-Well I'm a plus size model

-So I don't get the preassure that you have.

Do you have any measurements that you need to obey?

-When I wanted to become a model, they told me

"You need to have more than 109cm on your hips"

-And I was like; more??

-I needed to be more than that, because if I was less than 109

you end up in the middle of "not curvy-not skinny"

-And then the client wont see a place you'll fit in.

There's a point where..

you cannot gain weight,

but you cannot lose much either.

-Exactly.

You also said something very true.

I will keep this forever;

"We all need to fit the same mold."

And that's crazy!!

There are so many different kind of jobs, and agencies

So we don't really need to be THE SAME.

-When they are looking for one type of girl

-And I understand that if they are looking for a blonde girl

-it's not for me. I shouldn't go to that casting.

Of course.

-So it is not personal.

That's what I always say; don't take it personally.

Just like you said

They look for a blonde and you are brunette

They look for..

-It's like looking for a boyfriend!

-I wan't it tall and dark!

-with blue eyes..

-and you get the...

Guys, the conversation is turning other way.

Had something there..

Right, for dinner

keep it basic, simple

I tend to use all the veggies I bought

cut them in medium cubes

salt, some olive oil...

and to the oven

for about 30 or 40 minutes

and that's, what I, LIKE.

I usually eat just veggies.

I'm not a meat freak.

But it's been a while now, so today I'm eating meat.

I found this one that it's a...

lamb

Lamb from New Zeland.

Today I'll be using the pan.

I'm gonna..

create something..

I'm being creative, CREATIVE!

On my first modeling trip.

I was not like this. Didn't cook real meals..

I ate shit. Shitty food.

Used to buy frozen food. A lot.

Worst kind of food.

I was young and my body could handle it...

If I try to do that now..

wouldn't be a model anymore.

Now you are aware of what I eat in a day...

For me it's better keeping it simple.

It's like.

OH F#CK ME!!

It's there!! There!! OMG IT'S SO BIG!!

Workplace Jerks: What They Do and Getting Away the Smart Way - Duration: 1:32.

So the question of what a workplace jerk is?

The way that I define it is

as somebody who leaves you feeling demeaned

de-energized, or disrespected. And one

thing that I really like to emphasize

about workplace jerks, since it's

sort of in the eye of the victim

think maybe how you might be

contributing to the problem.

Be quick to label yourself as part of the problem

and too slow to label others.

If you feel as if you are a victim of somebody who

is a workplace jerk, it's bad for you.

It's bad for your creativity. It's bad for

your productivity. It's bad for your physical health.

It's bad for your mental health.

Long-term studies from Scandinavia even

show that people have abusive bosses

are much more prone to have heart

attacks including fatal heart attacks.

So you better do something about it.

A lot of times people say I'm just going to

leave I'm going to go find another job

but the fact is if you're in a large

organization there's going to be huge

variation in the kind of bosses there are

the little sort of subcultures so

very often you're actually better off

looking for another job within that

organization, in large part because you

can usually have much better information

about where the good people to work with

are and the bad people to work with are

if you do it inside rather than outside.

So I'm a big believer for your own good

and for the good of the organization

that it's best to move people from one

place to another.

WHAT WOULD JOSH HOMME DO?

based on "The lost art of keeping a secret" by Queens of the Stone Age

Queens of the Stone Age have been my favourite band as long as I can remember and are the main inspiration for learning to play guitar and write songs.

Last time they visited New Zealand I was 10 years old and a bit young to go, so I was so stoked to find out they were coming this year, I've been busking my ass off to save for the show... of my lifetime.

So you can imagine how destroyed I was to find out it wasn't at the large capacity/ all ages Vector Arena, like the last 2 times they played here, but at the much smaller Logan Campbell Centre.... and it is R18. (I'm 13).

So, here is my question to QOTSA and Mr. Josh Homme...

would you do if you were me?

Well I've got something I've been meaning to say

Blame bought out venues to keep me away

Seeing a band I've wanted to see

A band I've held tightly, quite long for me

Longer than I can , I can count

Cut me in, I've been cut right out

What would Josh Homme do

If he wanted to see someone?

What would Josh Homme do

If he was way too young?

Look for signs that I'll be there someday

Music devotion, time can't erase

Not sure that I can wait much more

Not sure that I can take anymore

Stuck in a grief, waiting, for I

To see a great band, if I don't I might die

But I've got something to reveal

Want someone to know how I feel

What would he do

If he wanted to see someone?

What would Josh Homme do

If he was just too young?

What would Josh Homme do

If he wanted to see someone?

What would Josh Homme do

Too young!!!!

I think you already know

How much I want to get in

You know the chance isn't gone

Just looking for a way in

What WILL Josh Homme do

For those who wants to see 'em?

SAP HANA Academy - Smart Data Streaming: What's New in HANA 2.0 SP01? - Duration: 2:54.

Here's a look at the new and changed functionality

in SAP HANA smart data streaming 2.0 SP 01:

tenant database updates,

machine learning functions,

new SAP HANA adapter datatypes,

and enhancements to the Streaming Web Service.

First, SAP HANA is introducing a major architectural change in this release:

starting in SP 01, SAP HANA no longer supports single-container databases.

Instead, all new database systems going forward will be tenant database systems,

and any systems you upgrade to SP 01 will be converted as well.

What does this mean specifically for smart data streaming?

Not a whole lot, actually.

The upgrade will have near-zero downtime options,

your data will be preserved,

and any development on streaming will remain the same.

But this change does bring an enhancement:

the smart data streaming plugin for SAP Web IDE and the streaming runtime tool

now both support tenant database systems.

This requires a bit of extra setup through the streaming service broker in the XSA administration tool.

Next, there is a new machine learning function: the decision tree scoring function.

This function scores data trained through decision tree training models.

Although you can't train a decision tree model directly in smart data streaming,

you can import a trained model from SAP HANA to begin scoring it.

In related news, the streaming runtime tool also gets another update:

you can now create and manage machine learning models directly through this tool,

including importing this new model type, and scoring decision tree data.

Next, the SAP HANA output adapter now supports CLOB and NCLOB datatypes,

which map to the string datatype in streaming.

Previously, you would've had to use the database output adapter for either of these datatypes,

but the SAP HANA output adapter handles their processing more efficiently.

Lastly, the Streaming Web Service now supports gzip compression with REST requests.

It also has two new configuration parameters: TLS and Subscription Buffer Queue Size,

for security and performance customization, respectively.

Finally, we've also added a new SDK API for streaming lite,

two performance-boosting properties in studio,

cosmetic updates to the CCL viewer in Web IDE, and more.

Want to see the rest?

Check the What's New Guide on the SAP Help Portal,

or head over to the Streaming Developer community, and look over the feature blog.

Sounds pretty legitimate to me, don't you think?

Of course, Al Sharpton was just jumping on the Liberal Media bandwagon of Congressman

This is total nonsense.

In fact, a poll conducted by CNN and ORC showed that 58% of Americans think the Russian "hacking"

NLP Gym! What Happened? - Duration: 6:39.

this is Damon Cart from NLP Gym you may

have noticed i have not posted a video

in almost two months some of you have

been messaging me and asking me if I'm

okay because I used to post a video

every single day and then suddenly I

stopped posting for two months yes I am

ok thank you for your concern actually

really warmed my heart to know that

people were really concerned and wanted

to make sure that I was okay so for

those of you who sent me messages

checking in on me thank you so much I

really do appreciate that I took a much

needed break as you can imagine posting

a video day for eight months is quite a

lot of work and I was a little tapped

out a little burned out and I needed to

give myself a break and in that time and

i also started to come up with a new

business idea and i started working on a

new business i also started really

reflecting on NLP and NLP Gym and ask

myself where do i really want to take

this now NLP Gym didn't start out as a

business it started out as a practice

group even before I had any NLP training

I was trying to learn from books and I

knew I needed warm bodies with a pulse I

had to practice with so I started

practice group and i started doing an

NLP training about every few months did

hypnosis trainings and did trainer

trainings resource coach NLP trainings

and i started teaching NLP and that's when it

sort of became a business and I started

coaching and I wanted to take it even

further than that so I started writing a

blog every day and I started doing these

videos and it just really turned into

something that I never really expected

it to turn into him and I started to

really think what do I want to do with

this do it am I done with it do I am I

do I want to continue and

and teaching NLP and doing the videos

and writing on the blogs what do I

really want to do with this do I just

want to move on because this new

business idea has really got me excited

and I'm inspired and I want to try new

things and the more I thought about the

more I realize there's one thing that I

have not done that I always really

wanted to do and that was to teach a NLP

practitioner training I've done several

of them as a student I've done them as a

resource coach I've even taught a day or

two here and there for a practitioner

training but I've never done one myself

and I attempted to do that had some

setbacks what have you now I see the

opportunity is really there to make this

work and one of the reasons why I want

to do this is because even for my first

NLP practitioner training notice there

were some things that we're missing and

in the early days but they call the

early days of NLP NLP trainings were

actually a month long and then the

technology has grown so much then I mean

we there's so much more in NLP now

than there was not in the early days and

yet the trainings are getting shorter

and shorter so a lot is being left out

and one of the things that's being left

out it is a lot of supervised practice

so when you're getting a lot of times in

an NLP training is you're getting an NLP

experience and you're getting a

certificate but you're not really

learning NLP and okay the learning of

NLP the being able to use it effectively

being able to use it to actualize your

potential and turn your desires into

reality comes when you practice it and

it's not just enough to practice it has

to be directed practice it needs to be

focused practice and it needs to be

supervised practice with someone who

really knows what they're doing you just

don't get that so much NLP trainings

today and I thought to myself you know

what you can you can absolutely is

absolutely possible to do both to give a

student and NLP experience during the

training and also really teach them how

to use it and how to effectively use it

in the areas

like what they want to use it and how to

really make their outcomes a reality

it's that old thing give a fish or a

teach a man to fish or woman and that's

what I really want to do in a

practitioner training the opportunity is

finally here that I can really make this

happen and teach in a small group of

students and limiting it to 12 people

we're going to get started in june and i

am going to prequalify everyone the

reason i'm doing this the reason why I'm

being so selective on not being snotty

or snooty about this I want to make sure

that I can tailor this training to fit

everyone's individual needs and when it

starts moving beyond 12 people it just

becomes impossible to do that the

training will take place here in Santa

Cruz California and this is really where

I want to take NLP Gym from this point

forward is to put out quality NLP

practitioner trainings I could make more

money by opening it up to a larger group

but then that would kind of defeat the

purpose of doing this NLP Gym has always

been more of a passion and a love affair

for me than it has been a business

certainly hasn't been a business that I

could make a living from I have other

businesses to do that so it has been a

labor of love and and I'm decided I want

to stick with that and I want to really

turn out students who whose

certification really really mean

something and so I'm going I'm taking

off with this practitioner training if

you want more information on it i will

be providing a link down here and you

can just click on that link and you can

read more about my philosophy of going

into this training you can also see what

you will learn the agenda and see if

this is the right training for you and

if you want go ahead and click the green

button on the

you'll be hearing from me I hope to hear

What is Cache? What Does Cache DO? CACHE EXPLAINED!! - Duration: 3:06.

Hey guys, Brainy here and the question for Today's Video is "What is Cache" and

yes, that's how you actually pronounce the word.

So, welcome to another edition of Tech Tips and in this video I talk about Cache and what

exactly it is.

So stay tuned, and let's get right into it.

A cache is a place to store something temporarily in a computing environment.

It is basically a high-speed access area that can be a reserved section of main memory or

storage device.

The two main types of cache are memory cache and disk cache.

But we'll get to those a little bit later.

In computing, active data is often cached to shorten data access times, reduce latency

and improve input/output (I/O).

Because almost all application workload is dependent upon I/O operations, caching is

used to improve application performance.

The main reason why cached data exists is to make loading time faster.

So if a device already has the layout of the website saved in the form of cached data,

it will not have to load that same data once again.

This helps in quickening the process of loading the website.

While cached data is helpful for computers, smartphones, and tablets; it can take up space

on your device and it may, over a period of time, get corrupt.

While the cached data on your device can be helpful for the websites you visit regularly,

it can be considered a waste for those websites which you will be visiting just once.

Now back to Memory Cache and Disk Cache.

Memory cache is a portion of the high-speed static Random Access Memory (SRAM) and is

effective because most programs access the same data or instructions repeatedly.

By keeping as much of this information as possible in SRAM, the computer avoids accessing

the slower DRAM or Dynamic Random Access Memory, making the computer perform faster and more

efficiently.

Like memory caching, disk caching is used to access commonly accessed data.

However, instead of using high-speed SRAM, a disk cache uses conventional main memory.

The most recently accessed data from a disk is stored in a memory buffer.

When a program needs to access data from the disk, it first checks the disk cache to see

if the data is there.

Disk caching can dramatically improve the performance of applications because accessing

a byte of data in RAM can be thousands of times faster than accessing a byte of data

on a hard drive.

Although Cache data can be helpful it is still a good idea to clean it up every once in a

while.

Especially when using a browser.

Some data may not be needed anymore since you have no intention of doing that specific

task once again and it's a good idea to clean up a freshen your PC's memory.

And that's just about it for this very short explanation on Cache.

If you wanna check out previous Tech Tips videos you can easily do so by checking out

the playlist on this channel or by clicking the link provided in the description below.

single week, Monday-Friday but not exactly everyday Monday to Friday.

What You Need to Know About ANSI Hi-Visibility Safety Vests for Towing - Duration: 3:40.

Hello, my name is Paul.

I'm from AW Direct's Technical Product Support Department.

Whether you're underneath a vehicle while hooking up, walking up an embankment at night,

or crossing lanes of traffic to pick-up debris in poor weather conditions -- high-visibility

traffic safety vests are the tow truck operator's best defense for staying safe.

Designed to distinguish the worker from the environment, hi-vis safety vests are made

up of two parts.

First, a background material.

Such as the orange fabric on this vest.

And a retroreflective strip like this one here.

Or a combined performance material that contrasts the retroreflective and fluorescent material. Such as the one on this vest.

The color of the background material and the combined performance material can be fluorescent

orange–red or fluorescent yellow-green.

Retro-reflective material reflects light back to the source when light shines on it.

This material can be silver reflective or prismatic.

ANSI regulations include three different classes that specify different hi-vis requirements.

Class 2 vests have higher visibility than Class 1 and are intended for work near roadways

where traffic exceeds 25 mph, or for greater visibility during inclement weather.

The width of retro-reflective material used must not be less than 35 mm.

Class 3 vests offers the highest level of visibility for workers.

Class 3 vests are designed for road personnel with high-task loads in a wide variety of

weather conditions where traffic exceeds 50 mph.

Class 3 vests have the most retro-reflective material, and must have sleeves

with retro-reflective materials between the shoulders and elbows..

The width of retro-reflective material must not be less than 50mm

Now, let's talk fabric.

Traffic safety vests are available in mesh fabric for cool, breathable comfort, especially

when worn over clothing.

Vests are also available in durable synthetic, nylon and polyester materials.

Fasteners?

We have a number of options here.

Choose from the ease, speed and convenience of Velcro

to the strength an reliability of zippers.

Pockets are typically found at the chest or waist.

As for sizes. Our vests cover a wide range from medium to 5XL.

Care and maintenance?

Here are a few tips for taking care of your hi-vis vest so it lasts.

Vests that are dirty don't provide the same visual contrast as a new garment, though each

washing gradually reduces the color intensity and reflectivity of the striping.

Some manufacturers do limit the number of washings to maintain the product's effectiveness,

and once this limit is reached the vest needs to be taken out of service.

The number of washes and the washing procedure varies between manufacturers, but a garment

can typically be washed between five and 25 times before its reflective properties are

reduced to a non-ANSI-required level.

Always wash your vest in cold water and hang to dry.

Do not use a tumble dryer.

If possible, try spot treating with a stain remover and allow it to soak in overnight.

Some items can be dry-cleaned, some cannot.

Be sure to check your garment's label or check with the manufacturer.

There you have it: Traffic Safety Vest 101.

Thanks for taking the time to learn more about this potentially life-saving garment.

Contact us if you have any questions about this or any other product.

And let us know if you have any suggestions for upcoming videos.

MARGIN ACCOUNT | What is Margin account | How to open a Margin Account| Why Need a Margin Account - Duration: 6:52.

Good morning youtube welcome to the financial information channel in this video i am going

to explain what is a margin account and at the same time i am going to explain the benefits

and the cons when you open a margin account let's start with the video so a margin account

is basically loaning money from your stock broker so you can leverage your return in

the stock market now imagine investing and trading in the stock market already has RISKS

now imagine adding a layer of risk into the stock market is going to complete things for

your if things do not work out for you now i am going to give you an example buying stocks

during recession or when the stock market crashes is going to make a huge mess in your

account and let me explain why let's say you have $20,000 into invest in the stock market

and you buy 100 shares of a stock company and the price for each share is $20 dollars

now let's say for example the market crashes and that investment that you did for 100 shares

dropped all the way to $80 dollars per share now you will still have an account with $8,000

instead of $20,000 but your account can still recover now what happens if you open a margin

account and instead of investing $20,000 you loaned from the stock broken $20,000 dollars

so in total you are going to have $40,000 dollars to invest because you loaned $20,000

from brokerage and you had $20,000 in your account so now that you have $40,000 to invest

you buy 200 shares at a $200 dollar price for each share so in that case let's say in

that example that the stock market crashes and that company shares dropped to $80 dollars

instead of keeping $200 price your account value will be $16,000 right but because you

owe the stock broker $20,000 from the loan you are going to have to either sell the share

and you are going to have to pay interests because margin account will charge an interest

rate so in that example, not only did you lose the $16,000 on that company when you

bought those shares in addition you will have to pay $4,000 out of your own pocket plus

interests so the margin account told you "you are going to have to sell the shares in order

to pay us" in that example it is going to complicate things in a whole different ways

if things do not go according to your plan in the stock market so if you are experienced

in the stock market you are actually going to get a lot of money in the stock market

really quick however in my opinion the risks outweighs the positives so i opened a margin

account last year and i lost a lot of money when i was trading the apple stocks in 2016

and you know that could happen to you because when you are investing in the stock market

you always have that curiosity to try the margin account if you insist in opening a

margin account i would suggest read the guidelines to find out the percentages that you have

to pay on interests because each company have different interest rate that you have to pay

and that you also research the company that you plan to invest or trade because i am telling

you it is not a joke when you open a margin account two things that i did not mention

that when you open a margin account you cannot use that amount to invest into your retirement

plan for example an individual retirement plan is not going to allow you to invest when

you open a margin account and the other thing is if you lose a lot of money in the stock

that you are investing you are going to get a margin call a margin call is basically a

stock broker telling you your account has dropped a lot of value you either need to

deposit money on your account or pay up the loan and that is the reason why i am telling

you to do your research first when you are investing in the stock market is a good idea

not to have any debt at all and the reason why you do not want to invest with debt because

that is going to slow down your investments and your return in the stock market when you

are either investing or trading now the advantage like i mentioned earlier is you can double

the amount that you gain really quick now in the example that i gave you earlier where

you lost all your value in your account you can actually gain all that amount really quick

if for some reason you decide to open a margin account i would say please pay attention to

any movement that you see in the stock that you are investing i would say keep a diversified

portfolio because that is going to reduce the risk a little bit now i am going to read

you an article that i found fascinating because it explains the margin account and effect

in the stock market now keep in mind that we are in a bull market so anytime that you

invest everything looks great but that changes quickly when we go into a bear market now

i am going to read the article so you can see according the latest data from the New

York Stock Exchange margin debt hit a record high of 528 billions in February 2017 there

is currently more than half a trillion dollars in outstanding borrowed money that was used

to buy shares of stock.

now i was reading that article and most people have a margin account i just hope that people

realize that if we have a stock market crash you are going to be in deep trouble that's

why i always suggest always invest with your own money and only try margin account if you

have enough money to cover your losses or at least try with a small amount so it does

not affect you that much and do a lot of research before you open margin account like i said

earlier i just want you to be careful because losing a lot of money is not fun at all well

that is going to be everything for today please let me know if you have any question in the

comments section let me know if you have a margin account it would serve as a conversation

Information channel and i opened a new Twitter account that I am leaving in the video description

What's it like to work at Amazon Web Services? Meet Jamie. - Duration: 0:28.

(energetic and upbeat music)

- My team is hilarious.

We laugh a lot.

We all feel super comfortable,

we all know that we got

the customer's best interest in mind,

and then all of a sudden we grow, we build,

we do what we need to do for the customer.

And so for me that makes a really happy workplace.

It's fun, it's high paced,

you'll never experience scale and growth

like you will at AWS,

so come give it a try.
