How I Make YouTube Videos, Circle Bubble Effect, Office Tour, And Software Stack - Duration: 27:58.
In this video but I go over exactly how I do things I want to talk about my hardware
that I use the software used animosity to show you how to get that circle affect in
my videos I get past that all the time in a minute revealed how to do that in this video
in this actually special video two days ago the channel hit 40,000 subscribers which is
a huge accomplishment considering it's kind of niche content here it's not mass appeal
content it's a very niche kind of topic the reviews that I do the tutorials that I do
it I couldn't be more grateful for you for sticking with me and wanting to watch the
videos that I make and I want to kind of give you a behind-the-scenes look in this video
of the hardware I use the software I use and then I'm going to show you how to do that
circle effect so if you're not already familiar with me my name is Adam from WPCrafter.com.com
where I make tutorial videos for non-techies and if you're new here consider clicking on
the subscribe button and if you don't want to miss a thing click on the bell there's
going to be quite a bit of things that I'm been a link to in the video description box
and but of course through the video I'll try to say is accurate as possible model numbers
and things like that if you want to look up some of the same equipment that I am using
to create these videos for you so the first step I'm going to go through the hardware
that I use right now so this is the office for the first just go over the equipment I
used to make all of my videos and then I'll show you just some of the extra things that
I have in the office here so the first thing we've got obviously I'm just shooting this
on an iPhone by the way so the video quality is to be what it is I have this might get
sin audio Technik 2100 it's a very affordable my it will run you about 50 or $60 depending
on if it's on sale or not and then I have it connected to this boom pole which you can
pick these up for about $15 on Amazon I link everything in the video description box down
below now the mic is that this can go directly to a computer with a USB cable but instead
I use this it's: XLR cable and I wrap it around and then it plugs into this right here it
is a the focus right now I was given the tip to get one of these to make the audio better
by Mac who makes a lot of the videos on the elegant themes channel the Divi theme and
he recommended me get this to have better quality audio before it even hits the computer
so that just plugs into my computer over there now for the video while people are surprised
to find out that I just have mail and see if I can focus on it I just have this simple
Logitech camera here and that's what I'm using it's a 920 model there about 60 or $70 depending
if it's on sale now right next to it is a Logitech Brio which I haven't started using
but I plan on using it I just haven't had a chance to make it fit in and adjust its
settings so I'm still using this eventually the Brio will replace this debris are just
has some new features that enhance video quality that may or may not benefit me I constantly
try new things now one of the things I'm doing for light is this right here this is a LED
light panel and are very portable there's a lot of different brands that make these
and they're all very affordable this one particular was much like 80 bucks right now and it is
made by new were a lot of my lighting years made by new work and it's just on Amazon I
have a link down below and that's all I use for lighting my face when I making a video
now I try to control the light so the blinds there I have him open to let a little bit
of light in but what I do say close those completely and the only light really coming
out is going be from that one LED panel now I do have us another LED panel that I show
you the moment that I'm there to be testing here soon now on the background it's really
just the wall and right in here is the Phillips human lightbulbs and essentially I can change
the color to any of millions of colors with this light bowl and I can have it just shoot
any color that I want on the wall now it's hard to see right now because the lights coming
in through the window when there's limited light really pops out and eventually I like
to do something nice with the background there may be have something custom-built but that's
what I have now and the last piece of what I need for my videos and then on to show you
everything else I have is this desk this is a smart desk from atomic.AI that's literally
the website no automatic.a I am whittling down below I have a coupon that will save
you 25 bucks on when I bought this desk it was only 250+ shipping now it's 399 but include
shipping international and what it is look this up it is a desk that you can push a button
and it will go up or down why don't I just just make it go to standing height so I have
it set to three there you can see what's happening the Dess is going up it's going up this is
perfect if I just want to stand in work just like this now when I make my videos because
I have such a tall monitor I actually have to make a go down lower but you can see now
I can stand and work in these deaths are so affordable I either just amazing prior to
Best Buy that I've made in a long time and then I can just hit number two right here
and have it go back down and you can program those heights and this is really a no-brainer
desk so for computer you can see right there I have a MacBook Pro now you can use a Mac
or PCI prefer a Mac and so I use this MacBook Pro to record and edit all of my videos lastly
you see this gigantic screen and I know it's crazy is actually a 40 inch LCD 4K television
that will work and that really smooth retina quality with my Mac and the advantages when
I bought this was very affordable is the cheapest way to get a big screen that was this high
quality the screen is like us at 40 inches and when I purchase it was only $300 now I
think he can sometimes pick him up on sale for about 250 or 200 it is a great buy and
it's made by Samsung it's their current models and he was a one mean 900 something I have
to put a model number down below but I can connect its to my computer via an HDMI cable
over here we have the Amazon echo speaker now obviously I use that for some voice stuff
like given voice commands to turn my lights on and off when I want to record but what
it's also nice is it works is a Bluetooth speaker for my computer so what that means
is obviously the Mac when it's folded up like that I can use it speakers know what I want
to I want something nicer will these work is Bluetooth speakers and actually sound fantastic
so that is the main reason I have that these are 80 box I think I might've paid 70 bucks
for it though they're fantastic and you can see you can get them in different colors and
it kinda fits with what is going on here with the desk and so I had my desk set up is this
chair in this chair does not have cushioned armrests so one of the things I need to do
is get a new chair this year so the initiation of the new gear that I have that I haven't
quite yet figured out how I'm going to use it the best over here you can see I have it
on this is called a ring lights and essentially what you do is you mount your camera right
here and it's looking at you and this will perfectly like your face now actually have
it at the lowest brightness right now because I wanted to blow out the video image that's
what that is it's a very popular white with people and let me show you my camera right
here this is what's going to go on if this is a Canon EDD it's a SLR camera which is
a lot more complicated setting up and eventually I'll figure out how many use that other than
pictures but for video and then for the mic you could see right here I have this wireless
mic kids from road and this is kind of pricey items one of my more expensive things that
they retail for 400 bucks and I'm actually talking on the mic that goes with this kit
but I have it plugged into my iPhone but this works really really good and so lastly is
my I don't know if I'm going to keep a pile so I have this file as W or that I might end
up returning I just need to take the find the time to figure out how it's going to work
for me so one of the things right here is this LED panel and this might replace the
one that I have and it comes with these barn doors so I can kind of focus the light and
my thought processes I can focus the light more on me and in that backdrop light will
have more vibrant color I just need to take the time to set it up this is another new
word lights I like a lot I just haven't taken the time to set it up and it's only $90 it's
very very affordable can push a lot of light there's various other video equipments over
there so this is really all there is I mean there's a couple other things here there but
this is pretty much where I spend all my time in the all the gear that I use to create the
videos that I create so that is all the hardware that I use in really the only crucial part
is the software for recording and my microphone and my guess of this microphone is only $60
microphone and if you wanted to actually have some video of you you can add in a WebCam
and that's only about $60 and that's really all that's needed when I first started making
my videos I didn't have any fancy lighting or anything like that eventually you can see
where I did have a light on my face but you know some things you know you can you can
get started with what resources that you have so next I want to just quickly go through
some of the software that I use to do everything and for my video editor I use Camtasia now
you already know I'm using a Mac and a lot of Mac users don't use Camtasia use a Screenflow
I've used them both my initial videos were on Screenflow but then I later switched to
Camtasia when version 3 for the Mac it came out and I think at the same time version 9
a for a PC came out and the reason I did that is because I could do more with it and I'll
show you when I actually shaded the bubble effect a for you know putting my video in
a circle when I show you how to do that your to see Camtasia little bit one of the nice
things though is that it's cross compatible so what that means is I can record a video
on my Mac and if I had a separate video editor and he only has a PC I can send him my video
for editing and then he could send it back to me so it's this cross compatibility is
also very nice when Camtasia three came out I did have some trouble with it and later
they made it better and better and fixed some of the problems I have there so some things
that I think are not perfect with it but it's close enough for my needs now Camtasia is
pricier so if you want to do screen recordings you might not want to start with Camtasia
if you're on a low budget there are other screen recording software is out there that
might be all more affordable this one I find is the best I think it's like 200 bucks sometimes
it might go on sale for 180 it's kind of one of the more expensive software's but for me
it's worth it next I am going go through couple AppSumo deals these past deals not current
deals and I just wanted to show that I do talk about AppSumo deals on this channel but
then I actually use them in my business so the one that I want to first talk about is
Plutio Plutio is like a project management communications tool and you can actually run
your entire business there's a lot that it does that I actually don't use but what it
does well works perfectly for me and that's right down here is these task boards so you
can create a project and create these task boards like this and you can collaborate with
people you can invite people in so if you have people that work for you you can delegate
it's great for keeping track of things that need to get done and setting due dates it
has a mobile app and it's just a really neat platform to be using I really like it I like
the polish of it you can't you could buy this directly on their website it's also in AppSumo's
briefcase product I'll put a link down to that below if you wanted to get that or if
you have briefcase you can get access to this and also if you're on a budget and you can
get something like this you can also use trail oh there is some a lot of advantages of this
over tremolo but you can still use the trailer because it has kind of that attaches the task
board aspect of it it doesn't have all the other stuff but the task board part it does
have next is promo Republic this was another AppSumo till this one keeps coming back every
year or so it's been on AppSumo the last two years so it might come back and what I like
about this is I can go in there and it will have some social media images that I can hit
our push out to my various social media profiles and I think it's exit kind of generic to do
that so if I see something that kind of inspires me in some way I will actually write something
and maybe ask it a question if it's something that inspires me and then I'll share something
about me so it's not generic anymore the image is just there to give you whatever feeling
that goes with it but I like to add something about me and maybe a question maybe something
I'm struggling on if it's an inspiring image about overcoming some challenges in your life
stuff like that if you been on any of my social media profiles you'll see I'll put something
out there like this every now and then and this is where I get the inspiration for that
next is a stencil stencil is another one of those AppSumo deals that seems to keep coming
back every so often oh I forgot to say promo republics and briefcases well stencils and
briefcase as well now it's that soul you can make images with this and you know for the
last eight months all of my images have been made in stencil even the thumbnail image of
for I'm sorry thumbnail image for my YouTube channel for these videos they are done in
stencil now what I'm doing though is actually had a graphic designer design the backgrounds
and so all I'm doing is putting tax than I'm usually doing that was stencil there's tons
of graphic design tools and stuff like that I just find this a little easier to just go
here point-and-click and then bam I have my images and you can also do some other neat
things with this but that's how I am using stencil and like I said this is an briefcase
as well another one this one isn't the was on AppSumo I doubt it will come back and it's
not in briefcase but there's similar tools in briefcase so search that is where I do
my keyword research where I identify the keywords that I want to make videos about and identify
the proper wording for those keyword phrases search that is a fantastic it's kind of fun
I just a keyword research competition research tool in the AppSumo briefcase they have a
thing is called SE ranking and it does a lot of similar things that service that does this
just happens to be the first when I saw and I purchased this early 2017 now you may go
to like the cr\'e8me de la cr\'e8me of tools that there are specific to what I need not
just a general purpose tools this is not going to be found in briefcase this is on AppSumo
it's been on AppSumo the last two years and it was just most recently like three or four
months ago and that is to buddy to buddy what it is as it connects into your YouTube account
and it makes a lot of things easier it makes it easier to respond to comments so I can
and I can have it pull up comments I haven't responded to or comments that there been replies
but the last reply wasn't mine so this helps me try to manage YouTube better and there's
also a lot of other things it does it helps you kind of identify tags and stuff like that
I don't really use it to its full potential but I really couldn't do what I do on YouTube
without this tool and they're fantastic now and full transparency I don't anymore I don't
anymore have the AppSumo planet was the Pro plan I have the next the next one higher and
that's because my needs have grown but it's perfect for actually I probably could get
by with the pro plan it was an incredible deal and it keeps coming back every so often
hopefully to come back in 2018 I love this tube buddy right here so these are some the
main software is that I use now lasts but not least working to go over how to create
that bubble effect using Camtasia now the negative the one bad thing is is the feature
that I use to do the bubble effect is only on the Mac version of Camtasia I'm sure if
enough people complained about it they might add it to the PC version I don't know why
it's not the PC version but I got some good news for you I actually didn't come up with
that 50 it out I like to have some good ideas but I'll be the first to say when it was not
my idea I actually got the idea from any of the Thrive themes videos no credit where credit
is due I got the idea from them although I made it my own in the way that I do it so
they use a PC and they have this video here where you can learn how to do it on a PC using
the software that they use to record I think it's like Sony something or whatever for creating
those videos that they use you can actually just put a link to this this blog post down
below it's funny they put out a blog post about how Ohno they use Adobe Premiere sorry
they put out a blog posts saying what their most popular blog posts were for 2017 and
this was like the most popular blog purpose that's because people like this bubble affected
that's why the kind of got me thinking I should actually do that and show you guys how to
do it so without further ado here is Camtasia I recorded maybe 20 seconds or so of video
and I'm in a show you how I do it's me give you the general idea I might not get it exact
and that's because the way I do it is I don't manually apply the effect every time I copy
and pasted from another project file so what's nice is you can get it perfect and as long
as in every video you sit in the same exact spot you get everything exactly the same you
can just copy and paste the effect over and it's applied immediately but I'm in it see
if I can manually do it here now the way Camtasia works you when you want to start recording
you can record your entire screen I don't do that or you can control you can can you
can record a section of your screen and that's what I use I don't you can also record an
entire application window I don't do that so if you notice when you see right here what
I'm actually recording you see I don't show the tabs above the web browser because why
should I take up that space in the video you don't need to see that you really want to
see the URL that I'm on and everything that is currently displayed in the video and that's

This Veerabhadra Swamy temple was built during the 16th century in Vijayanagara kingdom.
This temple is located in Lepakshi in the Anantapur district.
