I can't lose you too

Octavia was the only person in the world who truly knew him

there was no one else he really cared about ever seeing again

but then he glanced over at Clarke

and suddenly

he wasn't so sure.

We can't lose her

283 lives

for one.

She must be pretty important to you.

You're not the only one here trying to save someone you care about.

She is.

His stomach twisted strangely as he thought back to the scene by the fire,

the flames flickering over Clarke's determined face.

He'd never known a girl who was so beautiful and intense at once.

Bellamy leaned back with a sigh and closed his eyes,

wondering how long it would take until she stopped being the last person he thought about before he fell asleep.

You care about him.

Her friends are her weakness.

Start with Bellamy Blake.

Hey.

Do you have any idea how much she cares about you?

Get out of my way, Bellamy.

I mean, by now, he's probably dead.

If i'm on that list, you're on that list.

I need you.

I want you to say that you're with us.

Bellamy?

Clarke?

Brave princess.

Despite everything they'd faced since landing on earth,

right now it seemed as though the entire planet was finally saying

what Bellamy was murmuring to her right now.

Welcome home.

And now you're home.

I'll do anything, I'll stop fighting just please don't kill him.

Bellamy don't!

Stop!

Let her go, Echo!

Let her go!

I'm getting that wristband,

even if i have to cut off her hand to do it.

Take care of each other.

keep you safe

do anything for without there

leadership is a lovely pursuit if you keep resetting

and to

a manager mentally

not to me

is the right choice

we've been through a lot together you and I

yes

you'll be covering us the entire time can I trust

why are you asking me because right now I go for like being

and what I actually

you want forgiveness

if you need forgiveness

I got give it to you you're forgiven okay

we should go aside you hated that play and I would get myself killed

you inspire them

most of us are still in large part that is

a good round by his claims

the only way we're gonna pull this off is together together thank you for that

Exploring Brasov, Romania | I got so scared - Duration: 15:12.

Hi guys! Hello! Welcome back! Welcome back!

So, currently we are in a hotel room

in Brasov.

Now, I have a very small plan for today.

I am so curious because I have no idea as always she planned it, she knows the place so

I would like you to tell me where we are going today.

So, there is some special street here in Brasov

Its called "dupa ziduri"

meaning, its after the walls

as some of you might know

Brasov used to be like, this kind of fort city.

Fort city its called right? Yeah, in ancient time.

So, it had some kind of like protecting walls around it

kind of like that, I am not good with history.

but, you get the idea.

So there are still some of the walls standing

and this street which I just said, its called "after the walls".

that's the exact name of the street.

that's what we are gonna visit today. So it's a historical place?

kind of a historical place

but from the pictures, I saw on the internet

I got to know that it's more like a

nature walk?

I mean there is like a nice river

there is this kind of nice walls and then

there is a very nice street on the left side

something tells me, it's gonna be a bit different than Taj nature walk

we had in India

I mean yeah, its not gonna be like that. It's not like some kind of park or something.

Ah, yeah, ok, I am curious

but you get it.

So, from the place we are staying, from here, from the hotel till that street

oh tell me its less kilometers because I am so full and I can't walk too much

the google map is saying that there are 1.4 km

so we are perfect

Its good, some cardio going man!

It's a bit of walking till there

the only problem is that it's a bit cold

It's a bit cold, I am bit sick and oh boy when I am telling you

that I didn't take proper clothes

I am not exaggerating. I only have

very kind of thin clothes

the Brasov is the city which is nearbythe mountains

Brasov is some mountain city not nearby mountain. It's mountain city.

so here the cold is way more

than in our city and we took clothes like

it was cold in our city. I mean it is winter

but winter didn't really start but here in mountain

it's way more cold.

Well, I wouldn't say that it's necessarily way more cold or something

maybe it's kind of the same

but sometimes it's windy and we go out in night a lot

and in night, it's, it's really cold

it's very cold

but today we are gonna go there in time of the day so maybe it will be better

than in night

I can see through the window that there are no cloud and it's sunny

so it must be nice temperature

yeah, let's hope that. So let's get to it.

ok, guys so we are here

and I must say, this is a very

peaceful environment

and

by the river

so nice sound of river everywhere

so nice views

it's like kind of walking in past

time. Yeah, it's really is special. Its like

you will see, in the left side, it's a wall

in right side it's a very tiny small river

and then it's like a mountain

and you walk through the fence nearby the river

and it's hot

that's so good, it's getting hot

It's Sun, I mean I am having only a shirt on me

that's all and I feel OK

and there is no too much wind

really really nice. It's not crowdy

it's not crowdy at all. Here and there people are passing.

but it's not crowdy at all

there are so many lights installed on this street so I am curious how it would be

looking in night.i believe it's gonna be so beautiful in night.

yeah, but that's gonna be cold, that's for sure

we just passed half the street yet

and we found this bench so we thought to

give you guys a quick update

we have made it here

what happened? tell us what happened? Ok, see where?

there

It's like prison or something

Oh! and the door is opened. It keeps going, you know? and the door is opened.

and it says there , FREE HUGS!

there is another one

OK

I feel so much like in Indiana Jones

It is a tower for God sake, what did you expect?

I don't know how I am gonna go down? I feel to cry!

See the window, I think from here they were guarding or something

I feel to honestly cry

It's looks like a fort to me

Shut up! So many windows everywhere.

It's creaky in up so for sure someone is up there

Let's reach to top?

Ok, after you

ladies first

Can you see it? Da, but don't do that!

I know it's not very stable

What do you expect? it's of wood. Shush

Hey guys, she is really scared

Umhm, the tower which you saw earlier

in our pics and video

we are on top of it and it's made up of glass in up

and wood only in down. and in down it's wood

and it's creaky so she is like

anytime we can fall

through all the floors if the wood gets broken

the view is really nice from here

I mean you can see like almost the whole city

and I am so happy that I came here, I mean it's so good

I am not happy I came here

I am freaking out. She is uh, she is really afraid of heights

well the good thing is she doesn't get afraid when she goes up

she only has problem going down. I even got afraid getting up in this

the stairs are like so cracky

yeah, it makes a lot of noise

and especially when someone is on above floor and you are in down

and you hear their feet step

I mean steps. it's a uh yeah it's a bit scary

bit it's really nice

I mean the view is like so amazing

it's like you are in a airplane or something

Hm uh yeah. but people did graffiti even here on the glasses

I feel like. I am feeling so dizzy

really? I am feeling so dizzy and I am shaking and I, all I wanna do is like reach back to earth

oh precious earth. Yeah it was such an experience

there are few more towers like this around

this is I guess, this is called the black tower, the black tower yeah.

let's make it settled, I am not getting into any other

yeah, this is the first and last one in which we went up.

Yeah no more , I just I can't take it

I am so done. I am done for today

I am not sure we are gonna scout the full area, even from outside because.. No un uh

this place is huge man. this place is huge

It's huge and I really need to get going down now. Ok let's

get her calm a bit

we will show you how the floor looks like OK?

there are spaces and I can see under floor

and it's like everytime I step on it, it's like

makes sound, not all of them. Now, I am like so near the wall but in middle there

it's horrible

umhm

one step at a time, focus on one step at a time bud bud, just one step

so tell us about how did you like

this awesome black tower

reaching till up

amazing view yeah

It's just, I really appreciate my grounds

that's all I can say. I enjoyed seeing you going down.

I was so scared

I feel like I am having so much nausea now

yeah whatever, let's go sit on the bench

Oh my God, you are so shaken up

I am shaking. When we started our journey, I did not know

it's gonna be so awesome, it was really nice

it was in nature. It was so awesome and I really liked it

and if you wanna just get away from the crowd

a bit , it's just

the perfect place for you. Even if it

even if there were many people

it's so big that it is impossible

so that you don't find a space for you

It was very peaceful and very relaxing, very quiet

basically what I really liked is that

it was very far from the noise of cars

It's such a disturbing noise sometimes

and being out there

in nature but not in nature because you are like in middle of the city

kind of. yeah, it's not in nature, not in forest

but there are no cars, there are just people walking by

it's just amazing. you also have the river there

it's so peaceful so relaxing, you get to be in nature but you get to be safe

I really liked it. It was clean

very clean!

The black tower, that was my favorite part as you guys know

which I hated, yeah

and I liked that because I really liked

how she was freaking out going down

I am just kidding. Umhm. But it was nice

I mean I like to

when I was up there, it was uh to be honest a bit

creaky, when we were going up on the stairs

it was like we are gonna fall

down now or then. It was making a lot of noise.

Yeah, but once I was up there

I was seeing the view

I was like, awesome feeling in the world seriously.

it was so good. Yeah, like I would throw up any moment.

Oh my God, so there we have it, a bit of some controversial feelings

about it but the people who like height, they will love it.

or at least the people who are not terrified to death

from heights , yup

we also found some kind of stairs which were like going up

up up up up

yeah, I couldn't manage those

no she couldn't and that's why we didn't go there

because we would have to go down from there and that's what the problem is

Going up wouldn't have been a problem but to go down

no, I guess I would not be able to do it. I am afraid I would

end up being up there and crying on my ass

yeah

so yes, this day has been

really wonderful day

I hope you guys also enjoyed the views

we tried to shoot a lot there

and anybody who likes the nature

they must like the view, it was awesome

it was yeah. Please comment below

any other place which you know you have in your city which you think

that it's kind of same like you saw in this video

What is FoSTaC and Why is It So Important? - Duration: 8:43.

in 2017 FSSAI released an order which made it mandatory for all the

licensed food businesses to have at least one certified food safety

supervisor under fostac program for every 25 food handlers or food operators

in each premise but what is fostac and why is it so important? in this video

I am going to talk about what is fostac why is it so important and stay till

the end because I am also going to tell you that how you can register yourself

and enroll for the fostac program hey how are you doing today this is a Areeb

Irshad and you are watching FoodTech simplified where I make simple and easy

to understand lectures videos and tutorials for the students of food

science and technology so if you want to level up your grades and simplify your

studies and make sure you hit that subscribe button and the bell icon as

well so that you don't miss my upcoming videos it's been more than a year since

the orders from fostac was released and since then more than 62,000 people

or food safety supervisors have been trained but what exactly is fostac

fostac stands for food safety training and certification fssai gives a

great importance to the food safety in our country and to do that to ensure

that fssai made it mandatory for every licensed food business to have at

least one certified and trained food safety supervisor for every 25 food

handlers so that means if there are hundred food handlers or food operators

that means there must be four food safety supervisors in that specific

premise to train the food safety supervisors fostac was developed to

ensure that the training programs were conducted for the target audience and

what is the target audience the target audience includes the citizens and the

consumers the food handlers and the Food Safety supervisors that are entering or

that are already present in food present premise or food business and finally the

students who are going to enter or the professionals who are going to enter

into the food industry now there are two types of courses that are provided under

the fostac program the first one is health and wellness coordinator course

that was done and that was established to promote safe and nutritious food SNF

among the homes and the schools and at the

workplace fssai has been really active and promoting the SNF -Safe

and nutritious food program at the school level because they want to

trigger the minds of the children or the students at the grassroot level that

what is safe food the FSSAI wants to understand wants the students to

understand the children to understand at the very basic level at the very small

age that what is safe food and what is nutritious food and the second one is

the food safety supervisor course under the Fostac

now this course this specific course is getting all the attention all over the

country because a lot of employers are encouraging their employees to go and

take up this course go and take up this training a lot of final year students

are also enrolling themselves in this particular program because this will

this was not only add to their resume but this will also enhance their skills

and knowledge now the food safety supervisor course is subdivided into

three categories the first one is the basic level course and that is about four

hour duration course and it is usually meant for the catering and vending

industry the second subcategory is the advanced level or the level 2 of the

fostac program and it includes 8 hours of training and it is usually meant for the

manufacturing the people who are going to enter into the manufacturing sector

storage distribution retail and also it also partially includes the catering

sector the third subcategory in before step program is this special or the

level 3 tools and now what do they provide in the special or the level 3

there are some specific requirements for the milk industry for the bakery

industry for the oil industry for the packaged drinking water and the level 3

is basically designed to address the specific needs of the specific

manufacturing sectors of milk and milk powders meat fish poultry products

bakery products oil package drinking water and in the brochure of the fostac

it has been mentioned that more courses would be added based on emerging

requirements because the food supply chain and the food industry is doing day

by day and more levels will be added it is expected that the more levels will be

added to the fostac program spoiler alert

the fostac program is only valid for two years but what you should do if you

want to register and in a fostac program let me just jump

into my laptop screen and I will tell you that how you can register and enroll

yourself int the fostac program ok so first of all go to your browser after

you have opened your browser type in fostac.fssai.gov.in

press enter and now the website of fostac will open up and here you can see

that there are 143 training partners and all the details there are more than

62,000 for safety supervisors that have been trained right now ok so click

somewhere else now come down and here you can see get full safety supervisor

certificate and here you can click on register in this video there is of just

a basic form that you can fill up and you can select your state your ad hard

number date of birth first name pan number and pan number I don't think that

is mandatory and then you can click on verify after you have filled up the

basic details and uploaded your image and uploaded your signature what you can

do you can log out and then again click on login one more important thing that I

would like to mention over here that after you have just after you have

registered yourself there will the screen of the fostac will pop up

showing you the ID and password and I would recommend that please note down

that ID and password now I would what I would do that I have already registered

for the fostac and I will just enter my ID and my password after you

have filled up your password and your captcha click on submit and here you can

see the upcoming trainings over here and this will not show you the whole window

so what you can do you can just click on this icon and this will show you the

upcoming trainings what are the duration what are the level of the courses and

this is one way of looking for the trainings what you can do is click on

this course the click on this course enrollment and over here you can select

the course type for example you want to select for Advanced Course the mode of

training you want to select classroom and then leave this course code blank

and then click on show details and what it will show you it will

the upcoming trainings click this click on this icon once again and it will show

you the trainings and the seats available the seating capacity the

training centre venue this the schedule of the training and what you can do it

is ready there is a small circular icon and if you are interested in suppose

this training you can click on this one and then you can click on enroll now I

would not quick click on enroll but what it will do it will create a unique ID

and then you can contact that partner and pay the registration fee after you

have enrolled for a training you can click on ongoing trainings and what it will do

it will open up the ongoing trainings that you are going to take up and what

you can do you can click on view training steps over here so after doing

that you can get your admit card from this window then click over there and a

new window will pop up where you can generate your admit card so this is what

an admit card will look like after you have uploaded your photo and you can see

here and I haven't yet uploaded my signature so that is showing up here and

this is the usual form of the fostac admit card for a training recently I

took the food safety supervisor training course in the advanced level the level 2

course of the fostac now the experience was really awesome and I paid

two thousand three hundred sixty rupees the but I don't think the money really

matters here because not only it will add to your resume but it will also

enhance your skill now again this course is not academic based this course is

industrial industry oriented course so definitely I would I would highly

encourage you I would highly recommend this course if you are in the final year

of your college so this was it for today let me know down in the comments if you

have already enrolled in the fostac program or if you want to if you are

going to enroll yourself in the fostac program and if you found something

useful in this video thank you so much for watching this complete video till

now hit that subscribe button if you haven't already thank you class

dismissed

What Makes Katamari's Music so Good? - Duration: 14:36.

Na na na nana nana na na na

I Don't need to say the title if you know, you know

Katamari Damacy came from an age where weird niche Japanese games lived in harmony with bigger releases

Namco could release this cult franchise and it's eight sequels. Yes eight

how did Katamari a game where you snow ball up everything from a plant pop piano and

Pedestrian into your sticky ball roll this far on the cusp of an HD re-release. Well dear viewers among other things

It's all about the rhythm of the beat

The game's soundtrack stands as its legacy as copies became rarer the OST only rose further into the heavens of the youtube

Recommendation machine it was cute catchy fun a great reflection of the ethos of the game director Keita Takahashi

A man from outside the world games who left University a sculptor to then become a game director at Namco

Seeing it as a unique opportunity to create for a mass audience

to make something different

Katamari is a reflection to his prior work from his superflat pottery that mixed humor with formal purpose

Takahashi has carved his own niche

his artistic outlook is what gave him the

Opportunity to direct the game in the first place as a novice to the industry a rare feat

To Takahashi removing the clutter of the interaction and the

Interface meant you could make a truer human experience. In this case that would focus on novelty ease of understanding

Enjoyment and humor which all came together with the development team who was small and not the most

Experienced were still able to to deliver

Keita's gaming philosophy

Including one member in particular Yuu Miyake an in-house

Musician at Namco as well as a sound director on the project who built most of the music in the world of Katamari

Miyake wasn't tied down with the project like other big Namco releases where there'd be a set rules to follow

He was free to experiment secure in the vision of Takahashi who he saw eye-to-eye with Katamari

Miyake said his work was a direct response to that vision

however

I believe there's more to it than just that if we dig deeper you can see

Katamaris' musical style derives from a richer tapestry the game picks from all over the place from its visuals to its soundtrack

Tying it all together with an absurd

Style like the cherry on top reminding me of a 90's musical genre from the shores of Japan

within the indie originated underground

shibuya kei it has its roots in anywhere from punk New Wave to bossa nova and who could forget

City pop the genre it mutated from it was a music made by record nerds

For record nerds in the late 90s mainstream Japanese pop was as pinnacle of his commercial might

so taking risks was worth it moreover shibuya kei was a product of

Record curators who had a lot of clout at the time and gave the movement a big push

Not dissimilar to katamari the genre got way bigger than anyone expected growing in all directions

So my cool damashii part of the genre. They wouldn't be wrong

But there is one band in particular that Katamari shares even more with but we need to go back

Ymo, yellow magic orchestra, one of the biggest bands to come out of Japan ever. They were groundbreaking

influencing much of the early video game landscape

Listening to this in mind the sensibilities of ymo from their upbeat personality

humour and use of old-school style synth melodies

Are all seen in Katamari, Miyake talked specifically about their first couple of albums

Impacting him as a child now yellow magic orchestra self titled was and still is a banger. Yet What put Yuu on the path to?

Videogames happen to be one of the band members solo material

Hosono's video game music a tape that a young Yuu would wear to the bone

He'd later work at the very company that was mentioned on that cassette tape

Namco starting his career mastering arcade machines

the limitations of these early machines meant they could only use a few channels of sound at once the people

Making the soundtracks were as much composers as the programmers

programmers on a shoe

String budget who needed to get by on a lot less so they simplified the rhythm the challenge became how do you attract an audience?

away from other machines with the caveat the audience was going to listen to these loops a

Nauseating amount of times so they better be great

The limitations actually helped these games more than they hindered them in use mind video game music

had gotten stale the more it gained and there's one particular study that backed him up a study on repetition by

Elizabeth Margolis and short it talks about the source of enjoyment in music coming from

Repeating elements the more stuck in your head. It becomes the more time

It has to grow on you on a general level finding those repeating elements

attracts us to

Music like a roller coaster when you know where and when all the drops and loops are coming

Sideways a in-depth look at the study

over here

So check it out. I guess it so happens damaShi's music loops

seamlessly with old-school

Simplicity you're going to hear these songs a lot. This game was made with arcade scoring in mind

You'll go from that's a weird song for after the third or fourth listen

You'll be singing it on the commute to work if you like it or not

So while the soundtrack was a return to classic video game approaches

Yuu still wanted to bring a punk?

ethos to the game to do something different with it an idea appeared a tune expressed by

Humming singing was going to be the key

Miyake believed vocal musical scores had never been done well in video games

So he decided to use them for every track of damashii to accomplish this he used artists. That hadn't been in the spotlight

for years in Japan

So they'd still be recognisable to that Japanese audience bringing them from all backgrounds to give those genres an authenticity

they wouldn't have otherwise an

earnestness the composer drew from outside

the trenches of modern video game trends to give us an OST that

Understood the timeless qualities that made videogame music in the first place being both

Classic and unique to the genre the main theme defines this experience in a heartbeat. It's a joke

That's such a large Orchestra will be used for such silly

Nonsensical lyrics and chorus repeating the title again and again order the lyrics mean nobody knows with these royal trumpets

Contrasted with a drum machine tapping out a break beat. It's like old and new coming together, but under all that grandness

We have a synth with this silky

bassline that pushes the groove into good places

Danceable places it all comes together with this ludicrous imagery to stop you in your tracks

You'll say this is weird. This is

intergalactic, this is

Katamari Damacy

They knew this too because this melody is then used throughout the game as a light motif

So even when the soundtrack is spinning off into orbit, it feels connected

As great as the title theme is and even the OST a game is not like a CD or a film

The music is a living performance. And you the player are the conductor

No one could make you move that controller the audio and visual is coming together to make an experience beyond the sum of its parts

Thus sound effects are part of that experience

Feedback is a big deal

if it's the king speaking in DJ scratches

The springy noises are picking up items off the floor the alarms you get for approaching something too big to pick up

Well, these are simple techniques they help create

Satisfying responses to the world in such a way. It wouldn't be impossible to play it the game blind

Well, I mean like the first level maybe it's it's a pre is pretty tough later and none song who's good at the game could

Even when you remove the visuals, you can still hear unique sounds for each item

Like the people who screech and shout or the officers who fire their guns and in that moment it reflects the outward. Kawaii

aesthetic with the horrifying truth underneath for them

This is a colorful catchy Judgment Day

But for you it it's just Tuesday this duality is the heart of the game and the sound design

Understands this the victory screen song is one of the most satisfying

Experiences after an intense haptic level. Just just give me a minute for a second

It's only made more satisfying after dealing with the

torment of the sirens of their similarity to Sonic 2's water timer

It ramps up the tension hitting that target and need a length away from the counter. Ah shit. So close. So close

I want to try that again

failure leads to an absence of music only

ambience and rain the King talks down to its

unsettling

miles away from some of the biggest tracks in the game such as lonely rollin star an

Instant tune with a sweet vocal chorus alongside a splash of melancholy coming from its story of two lovers

One having to go off and leave because of how passionate they are about

Rolling stuff up with their sticky little ball with the other lover left behind in. Woe

But they know one day they will roll back to them

What sells the story is that sad?

Synth lead that's left after the chorus to make you reflect on this

it may even have something to do with the level because it's

Possibly the last part of the game where you spend within the house within that

Comfortable location you spent so many levels getting used to and now you're going out into the the wider world of Katamari

I mean it's simple and short and such a deadly manner that it makes your life a living hell if you got stuck in that

Level it never happens. It never ends. The song will never leave you

What about something like Angel gifts, which is this chaotic intense?

Anxiety inducing piece with layers of fuzz and distortion you could call it shoegaze in its execution

It's a far cry from anything else in the soundtrack

It's definitely the most intense song and one of the larger and more difficult levels

But once you leave that level it's followed by the most serene

Song in the game almost like a payoff roll me in

calm

soothing and

Easygoing. What about a track like Katamari roll where they have the talents of Charlie Kosei of Lupin the third Fame to

Bring this jazzy

smooth victorious ballad in english' of all things were lounging away

On the home stretch one level away from the moon

What once was an overcoming challenge for our small prints is now in his grasp?

Katamari rollers a highlight showing how songs can be used as thematic to the players experience?

Seen again in the final stage where it all comes full circle

Like like poetry it rhymes the OG theme and outro

Variation are used to tie everything back together again. What a

victorious end it is the music's diversity or tying it back together is not dissimilar to

Damashi's playing style the OST does a great job of being accessible for all types of people winning over critics and fans alike

Including the Titans of game reviews and a year full of high-profile games

Katamari was the breath of fresh air a game almost not released in the West

But made it just by the charm of the conference and demo alone

Takahashi once said I definitely think Katamari didn't have a chance at being popular or a cult favorite

without the music

Going forward the series hasn't done as much as it could to use the music in new and inventive ways in line with

Takahashi's idea of gaming you could also argue at sequel. We love Katamari was better expanding on the mechanics and

Refining for his music trying to push into new boundaries, but no one could argue that the first game left the bigger impact

Especially the soundtrack in such an iconic way

The series could never escape it going forward that music is important to people it goes to show the potential power of video game music

Having the right tracks in the smallest games can lead to the biggest stars

Oh

yeah now supposed to say something about

Patreon. Yeah, I have a patreon. It's cool. If you want to support the work I do use the patreon

Maybe you could do this full-time. That'd be great work. Your job sucks. Don't like it big

Thanks for to Cole Davies and Fernando Diaz

As always you make this a lot easier to do the dubis should be on the way soon enough

Probably have a video out for Christmas too. And

If you like Katamari pick up the new HD release, I'm sure it'll be great

I'm definitely playing it right now in this moment when I'm recording this one of the

Coolest things I found while doing research for this project is something called bossfight books. They're these little

novellas that

document the history of certain video games as well as interviewing the people that made them talking about the impact and cultural stuff or

Personal reflections on the games. They're a great read they have plenty of them

Definitely check it out. So everyone have a really nice day and roll up someone into your life and have a great time

Katamari

forever

I'm so happy!!!!! [2Days&1Night Season3/2018.11.25] - Duration: 16:22.

(Right before the season changes)

(A place to enjoy the pinnacle of fall)

(Jeonju Hanok Village)

(Where yellow leaves cover the pavements)

(What are the members up to?)

(This is what they're doing.)

Are you serious?

(A strong expression of love)

(It's another peaceful day at Two Days and One Night.)

Take that.

Just like the season of fall,

you're all in colorful clothes.

That's right. I'm a ginkgo.

- It's nice. / - No wonder it stinks.

I can smell it.

Gosh, it stinks.

- I know. / - It's your bad breath.

I'm sorry. You're smelling my breath.

I've given up now.

It's enough to beat the smell of ginkgo nuts.

You're the worst.

Foreign media might want to cover that story.

- Junho, don't speak! / - Darn it, Junho.

- Just keep still. / - I didn't say anything.

Seriously?

Don't open your mouth.

You're the one who opened yours.

- Don't even breathe. / - You're the one talking.

Oh, come on.

We are at Jeonju Hanok Village.

It's Korea's largest hanok village,

where we can enjoy our traditional style and food.

- It's the best. / - The food is amazing.

- Jeonju is the best. / - It's delicious.

Many Koreans as well as foreigners visit this village

- regardless of gender and age. / - Many come here.

We are currently at the Jeonju Hyanggyo.

- Hyanggyo? / - Yes, hyanggyo.

For your information,

hyanggyo was the best provincial school

that taught Confucianism and fostered many

talented students.

Jeonju is the city of education.

That's why, since you're here...

- Are we teaching? / - Are we learning?

You will learn new culture.

- New culture? / - New culture?

What on earth is that?

Don't you get it?

It's something we're fed up with.

That's what it indicates.

There's a famous kalguksu place nearby,

so let's all enjoy a bowl.

- Right. / - Let's go.

What do you say?

It's nearby.

Let me introduce you to your mentors for today.

- Mentors? / - Mentors, come on out.

Is it a chef?

Hello.

(Is he our mentor?)

(A foreigner?)

I know you, man.

- Hi. / - Nice to meet you.

- Nice to meet you. / - He's an English teacher.

I can't believe this.

- Hello. / - Hi, nice to meet you.

Are you a teacher?

- Yes, hello. / - You are, right?

Hi.

Hello, I'm Oliver from America.

Nice to meet you.

(An online celebrity English teacher)

(He introduces Korean culture in English)

(and teaches us about life in America.)

(English education content creator, Teacher Oliver)

Is he our mentor today?

Will he be teaching us?

Is he an English teacher?

Do you know what "new culture" is?

I know what a newspaper is.

He means "new vulture".

What does that mean?

I'm better at this one.

If you say it in English...

New...

Okay, I get it.

His English and Korean are better than yours.

There's no need to speak Korean, though.

We have invited another mentor.

- Another? / - Please come on out.

We must be splitting into teams.

Hello!

(The sharp voice pokes at your ears.)

(She's full of energy.)

I know her.

(A loud entrance)

Hi.

- Hello. / - She's Hey Jini.

- Hey Jini. / - Hello.

- Good to see you. / - Hi.

This is going to be a blast.

The kids are head over heels for her.

Is she the one?

Hello, viewers of Two Days and One Night.

(She's someone you've never seen before.)

I'm Jini of Hey Jini.

She has an amazing voice.

(With an accumulated viewership of 400 million,)

(she's the hero of toddlers and children.)

(She saves parents from crying kids.)

(Now she's popular all over Asia.)

(Kids channel content creator, Hey Jini)

- Her voice... / - It's loud.

She makes videos about children's toys and stuff.

They cry if you don't let them watch them.

- Is that so? / - Taehyun should know.

How many subscribers do you have?

- Over a million. / - About 1.28 million.

(Jaw-dropping)

- Hello. / - 1.28 million?

- What about you? / - You have 440,000, right?

I have about 440,00 subscribers now.

Could we perhaps do a collaboration?

- Are you asking me here? / - Yes.

I'd love to.

Now I know what we're doing today.

It's a TV Creator Special.

- New culture. / - That's it!

- Now I get it. / - We've talked about this.

- Right? / - I mentioned this!

That's what we're doing today.

So this is what he meant.

You have another mentor.

- There must be six. / - Yes, six mentors.

Maybe we're in three teams of two.

Yes, three teams of two.

- Hello. / - What?

- What? / - Really?

Are you serious?

(Shy)

- Are you serious? / - Him?

How he is related to new culture?

- Hello. / - He's not a video jockey.

- Aren't you Lee Yongjin? / - I am.

- Are you a video jockey? / - Hello.

Nice to meet you.

They're not all online streamers.

- Hello. / - Were we wrong, then?

- This is weird. / - What now?

Hello, I'm comedian Lee Yongjin.

(The biggest star of live comedy shows)

(The trending Lee Yongjin)

(Why are you among them, though?)

Is Jeonju his hometown?

No, I'm an online streamer

who has 1,850 subscribers.

- 1,850? / - Seriously?

- That's right. / - That's next to none.

Yes, I agree.

Anyway, I have 1,850 subscribers.

Oliver, how many subscribers do you have?

- Nearly a million. / - A million?

Jini has more than that but Yongjin has 1,600.

- What? / - I have 1,850.

Right, 1,850 subscribers.

Instead of an online streamer,

I'm more of a fan of online channels.

I watch them for about 18 hours a day.

I watch nearly every video.

I always watch your product reviews.

My product reviews?

That's what they call it.

Don't you have a day job?

- Do you only watch these? / - What about meetings?

Your face seems a little dark.

I have less work than you'd imagine.

That's why I spend a lot of time at home.

Teaming up with Yongjin is a bad idea.

Anyway, for today's trip,

you'll be utilizing your own channels.

In order to communicate with the viewers,

you'll be taking on the challenge of online channels.

This is "The Jeonju Live".

Hold on. How are we supposed to do this?

Can we open our channel if we just want to?

- Right now... / - Are you flustered?

- He knows the least. / - How flustered are you?

I can't quite grasp how this should be done.

Taehyun, look.

You're streaming your own channel online.

Soochan would be better at this.

Can I do it on my phone?

You'll be moving in three teams of two.

The mentors will choose their own teams.

It's important to have a good mentor.

Two of them have a million subscribers.

Meanwhile, Yongjin has 1,850.

He'll be more of a burden for us.

Don't forget that it's 1,850.

(Two Days and One Night, The Jeonju Live)

Through an interview,

the three mentors will choose their teams.

Shouldn't Yongjin be standing up here with us?

How is he any different from us?

(I'll teach you a lesson later.)

Oliver, you'll conduct your interview first.

- Defconn. / - Yes?

Do you tune into my channel a lot?

- Yes, I watch it often. / - Thank you.

He lies a lot too.

- Does he, though? / - He likes to show off.

Anyway, I watch it often.

Could you say hello like I do on my channel?

- Really? / - Do you have an intro?

- I do. / - Do you really?

See? I told you that he lies.

- I get it. / - He lies a lot.

- He hasn't seen it. / - Just know that I have.

Junho, you're next.

Do you know the doggy dance?

- The doggy dance. / - The doggy dance.

- Do it for 10 seconds. / - 10 seconds.

- You know what it is. / - This is embarrassing.

Who does that dance these days?

Don't you want to team up with Oliver?

I have no choice.

At least give me some music.

(We kept it quiet to focus on your dancing.)

(The silent and mortifying doggy dance)

Why do this when you can choose another mentor?

I'd like to team up with Jini.

All right, then.

(Oliver tries to stay unfazed.)

Junho, I choose you.

What?

No, I'd rather be on Jini's team!

I want to do something cute.

(They'll make their choices later.)

Oliver, what about the others?

I'll pass on any other questions.

Here's what I'd like to see first.

With young kids,

your voice is the most important.

I'd like you to say my intro but with your own names.

Hello, I'm Defconn of Hey Defconn.

(She's satisfied.)

Hi, I'm Jongmin of Hey Jonni.

(Sweet but scary)

- Next. / - Hello!

I'm Taehyun.

Hi, Taehyunni.

Hello, I'm Siyoon.

Siyoon.

- That's right. / - Hello!

(Culture shock)

The kids will be terrified.

- Mr. Rock Star. / - Sir?

(The shame of a tough rock star)

Wrap up the greeting already.

I can't take this.

I'm Joonyoung.

(She admires his effort.)

Hello, I'm Junho!

My high-toned voice is terrible.

Even so, you had to say it properly.

Manager, why do you keep interfering?

Time's over.

Is it over?

- This isn't easy. / - Oh, gosh.

It's hard to accept new culture.

Well, just now...

Manager, is that the schedule?

(Hey Jini's manager is ready at all times.)

She has to have dinner at 6 p.m.

Why are you asking?

He's good at this.

He's good at skits.

May I ask each one of you a question?

- Yes. / - I want to see agility.

- It's because... / - Someone's calling you.

(He glares at Junho.)

I'm sorry.

Get ready to do push-ups.

(Junho does as ordered.)

(Jongmin likes it.)

- Answer me like that. / - Okay.

(It's embarrassing for the 44-year-old man.)

If you have one million dollars, how will you use it?

Oh, wait.

(Is he serious?)

Get up.

- Get up. / - What did he do?

Get up.

- What is this? / - It smells so bad.

(He killed everyone with his fart.)

What was that?

You have to commend him for his quick wit.

I asked him a question, but he farted in response.

It's so amazing how my fart didn't make sense.

But he answered your question just now.

If he has a million dollars,

- he'll use it all. / - Really?

- I'll use it all. / - Oh, okay.

Was my answer okay?

It was good. You reacted very quickly to it.

I want to ask Jongmin a question.

- This time... / - I will ask you. Wait.

Answer his question.

Let's say there is

- a vending machine in front of you. / - Okay.

It didn't have the names

of the drinks somehow.

So you just picked one randomly.

What would be the color of the drink you picked?

- Blue. / - Blue? What about you?

Yellow.

- Clear water. / - Red.

- Red for me too. / - Red.

What a relief.

- Why? / - If you picked transparent,

it means you're a psychopath.

Someone picked clear water.

- There's one here. / - Oh, we had one.

- He picked clear water. / - Watch out.

Everyone should watch out.

We have to do this together the whole day.

Since we're not close yet,

I want to filter people with this.

Okay. You're leaving Siyoon out.

- Leave him out. / - I can do this well.

It's Siyoon.

Can I ask Siyoon another question?

What did blue mean?

You're normal.

(Thank you for telling.)

- You're fine. / - You are normal.

- What a relief. / - Everyone's fine.

I thought it would say I'm a fool.

Here's the last question.

This is our last chance.

Let's become psychopaths.

Junho, do you like crowded places?

I poop when I go to crowded places.

(He's just saying it because it's urgent.)

I'm a psychopath.

He farts.

You can leave me out from the team.

I like Junho's style.

(Wait a second.)

- Wait. / - You like him pooping?

Yes, personally speaking.

- It's like... / - You like his style.

I like that he's confident.

- This is the end. / - Okay. Gosh.

I think you are done with the interview.

This is not an interview.

You should play rock-paper-scissors

- to pick your team. / - What?

- We just did an interview. / - Rock-paper-scissors.

The winner can pick one of you.

They'll pick us based on rock-paper-scissors?

Rock-paper-scissors.

- Rock-paper-scissors... / - Oh, he won.

Aren't you nervous? I just won.

- I won. / - Oh, my gosh.

Oliver, my service to you.

- Oliver. / - Oliver?

The important thing is you two will be in my team.

(Chills)

- Rock-paper-scissors. / - Rock-paper-scissors.

(What made him win again?)

- Okay! / - You should go for it.

(They don't want to be hired by him.)

Don't run away!

Look at me.

Only Junho's left.

I'm ready to pick.

I want to pick someone who is

most experienced.

(Someone who is experienced)

(He's angry now.)

That is Junho.

I'll pick Junho.

(Yongjin picked Junho.)

I'm so happy.

(He's screaming.)

You two will show great teamwork

since you're both comedians.

- Yes. / - He has 440,000 fans.

Defconn said a lot of nice things about me.

I pick Defconn.

(Oliver picked Defconn.)

Oh, my goodness.

Thank you, Oliver.

- Thank you. / - It's nice.

It's Jini's turn.

If you don't get picked this time,

you'll get picked by me.

(They're desperate to be picked by her.)

- That sounds terrible. / - It's my turn next.

Do something so that she picks you.

Do something nice to her.

- It's me. / - This is why it's hard.

It's me.

Why is he so scary today?

I'll pick now.

I'll pick...

(Please...)

(Anything to avoid Yongjin)

I'll pick

Taehyun.

(She picked Taehyun.)

Okay.

(Jongmin's jealous.)

Is it my turn again?

(They're faced with reality again.)

Don't they have to play rock-paper-scissors?

What is that?

- What? / - Over there.

Did you just raise your hand to be with me?

(He's frozen.)

I'll pick Jongmin.

(Yongjin picked Jongmin.)

You raised your hand.

- My gosh. / - You raised your hand.

You did raise your hand.

How can you be tricked by Yongjin?

- It'll be easy. / - I'm so bad at skits.

- It's not like that. / - How about fashion theme?

We will do something really easy.

- Oliver has to pick now. / - It will decide all.

It doesn't matter now.

- We're happy either way. / - You are right.

I'll Joonyoung because of his attitude.

(Oliver picked Joonyoung.)

- You can speak English. / - Good for you.

We are one team.

(Hey Jini is with Taehyun and Siyoon.)

He didn't trust anyone and if he kept snapping at potential adopters, it was likely he'd be put to sleep

Then a couple wanted to meet the sad little pup surely. He'd scared them off, too

Some people just don't feel like their family's complete without a dog in their lives

Animal lover Jessica Williams is among them but something always gotten away for instance

Her living arrangements didn't permit animal companions, but all that was about to change

That's because Williams had moved into a new apartment with her partner jared and their landlord was pro pat

For the first time Williams could get the canine company. She'd always craved

Between them jared agreed with Williams that a dog would make a great birthday present

Consequently the couple decided to adopt a shelter dog for Williams birthday a date which fell later in the year

However, enthusiasm overwhelmed Williams and she decided to do some premature searching

She subsequently paid a visit to some shelters on the Internet

That's when Williams spotted a sorrowful looking little pup called Benji in a Los Angeles shelter

Although his past is murky whatever. It happened in Benji's early life had led him to the streets from there

Someone took him to the shelter where he was put up for adoption

Unfortunately since his arrival at the pound Benji's behavior hadn't endeared him to either staff or visitors

Williams explained as much to animal news website the dodo in August of 2018

He was at the shelter for ten days and wasn't handling it. Well, she said of the pup

It's possible that Benji didn't know what happy domesticated life was like it would certainly explain his reactions

He would snarl and snap at people as they walked by Williams elaborated

That wasn't the only reason visitors may have passed Benji by either the pup also suffered from a severe reaction to a flea infestation

From his time on the streets as a result. Benji was missing a large portion of fur

Williams heart broke when she saw him and Benji's image haunted her I

Had never seen a sadder dog Williams told the dodo and I knew we couldn't leave him there with this in mind

She and Jared decided to adopt earlier than originally planned and arranged to meet Benji

There was one big catch though the couple lived many miles away in

fact the adopting parents lived in Sacramento

Meaning they were no fewer than 380 miles from Benji's Los Angeles shelter

But the determined duo didn't let that stop them

Knowing Benji was in dire need Williams and Jarrod set out on an epic 12-hour long road trip

Shelter staff must have been surprised that someone had come so far to adopt Benji. In fact according to the couple

They didn't seem to think it was a good idea at all. They did everything they could to stop the pair meeting him, but

Williams would not be dissuaded

The shelter also told us he wasn't friendly Williams told the dodo

Apparently they wouldn't even let her in a quiet room with Benji

She elaborated because he wouldn't be a dog that would come over to us to be cuddly

Unfortunately Williams and Jaret were acutely aware that this situation didn't bode

Well for Benji, we knew that he had a high possibility of being euthanized and didn't want him to die

She explained the couple may have been Benji's last chance. So they took ownership of him regardless

the long car ride home troubled Benji

He remained very nervous and distrustful of his new humans this standoffish behavior continued for days after his initial adoption

But the couple's patient and loving nature

eventually won the pups trust

Bengie soon came to enjoy family living a lot more than either life on the streets or in the shelter

Consequently, the little dogs guarded nature melted away to reveal his true personality as it turned out

All Benji needed to make him happy was love and affection

William said that the dog is completely different to the shy sad creature. She saw the shelter

Benji's embraced his inner puppy and he's discovering new ways to appreciate life every day

Additionally, he's a lot fonder of car trips now

Benji's mommy described how her fur baby can't wait to take a car ride. He'll start barking the second we get in the car

She said as if to say we have to start moving, let's go

Benji's a lot more affection at these days to

The Los Angeles shelter staff stated they didn't think of Benji as the cuddly kind of dog

Well, they'd be surprised to see him now

He loves to come up and lick our faces and play with his toys Williams told the dodo in late August of 2018

He's such a goofball now Benji's mommy continued and he has crazy zoomies after he gets bathed

In fact, the pups parents taken everywhere. They go. So he's getting a lot better at socializing

He even joins them in restaurants. Although Benji hasn't lived with his human. Mommy and daddy for very long by all accounts

He's making amazing progress so far

hopefully he'll only improve from here on in and

If any dog is living proof of the difference a loving family can make - a dog at his lowest. It's been gee

Why Bluefin Tuna Is So Expensive - Duration: 6:41.

Narrator: In 2013, a 489-pound tuna sold

for a whopping $1.8 million.

But you can buy a can of tuna fish

at the grocery store for under $2.

So, what's the difference?

For starters, it's not the same fish.

Canned tuna typically comes from albacore.

They're small, grow fast, and are abundant for fishing.

And they certainly don't weigh 489 pounds.

There's only one type of tuna in the world

that grows that big, bluefin tuna.

And if you wanna try some, it's gonna cost you.

Derek Wilcox: We could buy tuna from Japan

that we'd have to charge

maybe $80 for one piece of otoro.

Narrator: Derek Wilcox is a chef at Shoji,

a Japanese restaurant in New York.

He was trained in Japan and worked there

for more than 10 years.

Restaurants like Shoji serve raw bluefin tuna,

or what's called kuro maguro in Japanese.

They get their tuna from a number of different sources,

including Japan's Tsukiji fish market.

There are several different varieties of tuna,

but bluefin is what you're most likely to find

at high-end sushi restaurants.

Wilcox: Bluefin is the most sought after.

Only bluefin has the intense marbling.

Bluefin also, when it's aged properly,

has a particular balance of flavors.

Narrator: A large adult bluefin can weigh

around 450 pounds or more,

and the price of the fish varies based

on a number of different factors.

Wilcox: It completely depends upon where you get it from,

but it's never cheap.

A local bluefin on the east coast will run

anywhere between $20 and $40 a pound.

You could be paying north of $200 a pound

for bluefin from Japan.

Narrator: According to Wilcox, tuna from Japan

is better than American tuna during

the peak winter months.

While Boston tuna is best during summer and fall.

But it's the tuna that comes from Oma in Japan

that's widely considered to be

some of the best in the world.

Wilcox: Peak-season Oma tuna will, in Japan, cost

400-450 a kilo.

Which means by the time it gets here,

it'll cost close to $400 a pound.

Narrator: Besides its superior fat content,

another reason fish is more expensive from Japan

is that it has further to travel,

and it goes through a rather lengthy process

before making its way to your plate.

Wilcox: There's more hands that it passes through

in Japan, which is not necessarily a bad thing.

Narrator: Wilcox says the fish is also handled

better in Japan than the US.

So there's less damage and more precise cutting.

Wilcox: We get like a Boston bluefin,

it goes from the fisherman, to the distributor, to our door.

Whereas in Japan, it's going from the fisherman,

usually to a collective or cooperative,

to the government that's running the auction,

to a middle wholesaler, to a final wholesaler,

to a restaurant or a hotel.

All high-end fish are auctioned in Japan.

Fish that's more sought after, that's caught

in a better place, that's handled better,

that's clearly better quality will go for a higher price,

and that fisherman will get more of the money.

Narrator: The first auction of the year in Japan

is when you'll see ridiculously high prices for fish.

Mostly as a symbolic gesture, or a publicity stunt.

Which is partly why the 489-pound tuna sold

for $1.8 million in 2013.

And the first fish of 2018 sold for $323,000.

Wilcox: In Japanese culture,

that first thing you do all year

is the most important.

It sets the tone for the whole year.

That first tuna of the year always goes for

the highest price that any tuna will

go for the whole rest of the year.

Narrator: And the different parts of a bluefin tuna

also vary drastically in price.

Wilcox: If you imagine a tuna as like a torpedo,

they'll split it into quarters lengthwise,

cut off the head, and the collar,

and we will take one of the two belly quarters.

Narrator: Here's what one quarter looks like

when it's delivered.

This piece came from Boston,

and was caught the previous day.

Wilcox splits up the meat based on type.

Wilcox: It's just like sides of beef.

You know, you buy a side of beef, it's all the same,

but once you break it down,

the filet ends up being the most expensive part,

because it's the most desirable.

It's also small,

and it requires a lot of labor to peel

off the silver skin.

Otoro is the fattiest part of the tuna

outside of the head and collar area.

Narrator: This is the most expensive.

And depending on where it's from,

and where the fish was raised,

the price can vary anywhere from $10 a piece

to upwards of $80.

Wilcox: The chutoro is getting around toward

the side of the tuna,

and it doesn't have the striations of fat,

but it still has fat within the red of the meat,

so you get a mix of fat and red.

And then, akami which means, literally,

red meat in Japanese,

is the leanest part which you find more towards the center

of the tuna closer to the backbone.

Narrator: Akami is the most common

and cheapest part of the fish,

but it's still more expensive than

that can of albacore at your local market.

Wilcox: When you're assessing the quality of the tuna,

you wanna taste the red meat, the akami.

It's a wild animal, so it tells you whether

it had a good diet,

whether it had a good life,

and it got exercise, and it lived in clean waters,

and was able to swim around a lot.

So, a farm-raised tuna is, generally, force-fed sardines,

and you can actually taste sardines

in the fat of a farm-raised tuna.

Whereas a wild tuna has a varied diet,

and has a much cleaner and milder flavor to the fat.

Narrator: But for decades, wild bluefin tuna

were over-fished in the Pacific,

which was harming their population

and making it more difficult to come by.

However, more recently tighter controls on fishing

have led to a resurgence in the population.

But they could still be better, Wilcox says.

In fact, Wilcox avoids any Pacific bluefin

that is not from Japan,

and says you should too.

Wilcox: If you eat Pacific bluefin,

not specifically from Japan,

then that's really irresponsible.
