Youtube daily can't pay Feb 2 2018

Hi everybody and welcome to my channel! I am Thea and today I will tell you, how

style and clothing can affect the way you talk and your language and how you

can use that to your advantage. This is actually the second part of a little

series I am doing about the psychological power

of style and I will link the first video somewhere up here. When I talk of style I

mean your overall appearance: the way you dress and groom and wear your hair and

everything where people from the outside can get a

look of you as a person on the inside. So let's get started with today's topic. As

I explained in the last video our clothing and what we wear can have a big

impact on the way our mental processes work and how we perform and act. As a

result we can use our clothing choices to feel more confident and empowered.

But did you know that the garments you wear can even affect language you use and the

way you talk? That's very fascinating, so let's get right into the topic. There is

a study which is called "The clothing makes the self" and it's by a German

university if I'm right. In the study they tested, if the kind of clothing you

wear has an effect on your language. So they had two groups of people again. One

group of people wore formal clothing and the other group wore casual clothing.

They tested both groups, and the results showed that the people wearing the

formal attire also used a more formal language - a more cultivated one and a

more precise and accurate one. On the other hand the people who wore casual

clothes also used some more casual kind of language. This is another example for

the fascinating ways our brain works! Just by wearing a suit or dressing more

polished and professional we can actually influence the way we talk and

behave and act, of course. So why not use that to your advantage? As you all know,

knowledge is power my friends! So if you look smart,

you can also act more smart because your brain works in that way.

The mental processes are primed to work in a more accurate, cultivated and formal

way if you are wearing formal clothing. So what does that mean for our daily

lives? Let's say you have an oral exam at university and you want to talk very

precise - then put on a power suit and wear it for this occasion. Or you have an

important presentation for some clients, then go and wear something really

professional and you will talk and act more professional. Or if you are just

meeting friends wear something casual and talk casual, that's okay!

I hope this video was helpful for you. If you have some personal experiences with

suiting up for some special occasions and they were positive, please share them

in the comments! I really want this channel to be a place where we can all

inspire each other. If you liked this video, please give it a thumbs up - and if

you want to learn more about the psychological power of style or about

confidence, self-esteem, self-care and positive living then please subscribe to

my channel - and if you want to get notifications please press the little

Bell button and YouTube will tell you when I uploaded a new video. So thank you

for watching, I really appreciate each and every one of you who watches my

videos, because I just started out my YouTube channel and it's so great to

have you here! I see you in my next video where I will tell you how style can

affect your mood and your energy level. Until then: embrace your life and be your

unique beautiful self! Bye!

I'll do that again

Why Is Theology So Important? Can't Jesus Be Enough? - Duration: 3:21.

I remember reading a book a number of years ago where the author was very

insistent that all we need is Jesus, and Jesus is enough,

and we don't need anything but Jesus. We don't need these fancy formulas

about Jesus, we don't need all of the church's theological musings,

we just need Jesus. And that sort of argument on the face of it can sound

really spiritual, I mean who wants to disagree? What Christian wants to say,

"No, we don't need Jesus." Of course we need Jesus.

Of course Jesus is enough. Of course Jesus is sufficient.

But when you press on that a little bit, it hardly makes sense.

Because when we say Jesus is enough, or all we need is Jesus,

we have to ask the next one, well what is it about Jesus that makes him

all that we need? Or if Christianity is all about Jesus, what is it about Jesus

that we want to be all about? As soon as you start to say something

about Jesus, if you say, "Well, it's because of what he did on the cross,

or because of the resurrection, or because of how much he loves us,

or because of his teaching." Once you begin to answer the question,

you've gone into the realm of theology. So folks who think, "I want Jesus,

not theology." They don't have either. Because you can't have Jesus and have him

mean something to you unless you know some propositions about him.

If I tell you how much I love my wife and how amazing my wife is and then you say,

"Well, tell me how tall is she?" And I say, "I don't really know."

"Well, tell me what color are her eyes?" I say, "I'm not really into those sort

of things about her." Well, not only would you question how much I

really love her, you would wonder if I could pick her out in a crowd,

I don't seem to know anything about her. I don't seem to know any propositions,

any facts. Am I just speaking in vague generalities? And the same is true

with Jesus. We can speak in these spiritual platitudes of how much we

love Jesus, but we need theology if we're going to explain who he is, the God man,

what he accomplished on the cross in his death and resurrection,

and what it means for him to be reigning at the Father's right hand,

to be the second person of the Trinity, to come back again to judge the living and

the dead, to send his Holy Spirit to be the very presence with us in the world.

All of these things get into the realm of theology. So there is no Jesus

without some theological parameters and some robust filling out and filling

up of what we mean about Jesus. And he himself taught this,

unless you know that I am he, unless you confess that I have come

from the Father, all of these great declarations, the "I am" statements in the

book of John. Jesus would not have had patience for people who said,

"I just want Jesus, you, and I'm not interested in learning

about you and understanding what sort of messiah you are."

No, if we're going to have Jesus, we need to have theology.

Matcha Green Tea + Yoga: This 5-Minute Morning Routine Can Improve Your Entire Day! - Duration: 3:04.

We are here with Lau Lanes yoga instructor in Cancun, Mexico to talk about what simple

routine everyone can do in their mornings.

We recommend using this combination of Matcha & Yoga every morning to really awaken your

body and kick-start your energy for the day.

During my interview with Lau, she asked me how I would recommend to use Matcha specifically

before yoga.

For this routine it is going to be about the potency of the Matcha.

You are going to want to use more Matcha than a standard serving depending on what you personally

can handle.

This potency is going to have a more concentrated amount of the L-Theanine, Caffeine, and Chlorophyll.

So for more information on how to make Thick Matcha check our YouTube Channel as we have

instructional videos there.

Next, we are going to go to the beach and Lau is going to take us through this simple

routine called "Sun Salutations" and one-by-one show us how we can do it.

She recommend doing this routine anywhere between 3-5 times after you have had your

cup of Matcha.

Lau: Sun Salutations is a moving meditation.

You have to combine the movement with you breath.

First, you have to stand at the front of your yoga mat.

This is called "Tadasana" or the Mountain Pose.

Inhale raise your hands up to the sky to "Urdhva Hastasana".

Then on your exhale go to a forward fold pose or or "Uttanasana".

Slightly bend your knees and touch the floor with your hands.

Take a deep inhale to a hallway lift or "Ardha Uttanasana" and push the crown of your head

forward to actively lengthen your spine.

Then place your hands on the mat and step back into a plank pose or high plank.

Exhale, lower down slowly, Chatranga.

On your inhale, release the tops of the feet drop the knees and the thighs down, let your

hips sink into the mat and lift yourself into a baby cobra pose or "Bhujangasana".

Exhale go straight to downward facing dog or a "Mukha Svanasana".

The most important part of this pose is to make space on your spine by having a flat

and activated back.

Hands push down and forward, shoulders away from ears, chest open but ribs are closed

in order to engage your core.

Hips move up and back and you can slightly bend your knees once again to make it easier

for the back of your legs.

Take a few breaths here.

Walk or jump between your hands.

Inhale, halfway lift, exhale fold, and inhale arms all the way up.

Exhale, hands to the heart center.

Ensuring People Can Get inTouch - Duration: 1:51.

Greetings.

We've been talking in this series of videos about the recruiting part of recruiting and retention.

Now, one of the common areas of frustration that

people have, when they're trying to investigate Civil Air Patrol and check

it out, is they can't get ahold of anybody.

Sometimes they'll check the website for what the information is for the squadron, where it meets, when

it meets, the phone numbers for the squadron commander, that type of thing,

and in too many cases the information is not accurate.

They'll show up at the wrong place, the wrong time, make a phone call, can't get ahold of somebody ... or they'll

make the phone call and leave a message, and nobody gets back with them.

So that's one of the fundamental things that you can do.

You've made the presence in the local community.

You've got a great PA program going on.

You're telling that story. You got people interested.

You're starting to talk to people, having good expectation management-tailored conversations with them, but they've got

to be able to get ahold of you, and you need to be responsive and get back to

these potential candidates for joining Civil Air Patrol.

If that's not done well, they're going to be frustrated.

They're going to lose interest.

They're going to go away.

If you do it well, then you bring the folks into the door, you have those

intelligent conversations with them, and you're at the threshold of actually

getting good qualified candidates signed up for Civil Air Patrol.

Do that well, it'll help you and help us as well.

Thank you very much.

How A Near Death Experience Can Change Your Life – Wake Up And Win - Duration: 8:52.

I'm gonna tell you guys today about a near-death experience that happened to

me a couple years ago the main things I'm gonna drive home are the positives

what I learned from it what I got out of it and how it impacted my life and new

perspective I have so I want to share a personal story that happened to me in

2016 specifically September 25th 2016 I was

working as a manager on local trampoline park I decided to go on break so I went

across the street to local Starbucks I sat down and I enjoyed my food in my

coffee and after I got done I get got ready to leave the actual building and

go back to work right before I got up another gentleman stood up and shot

another man in cold blood about ten feet in front of me right after that happened

he looked at everybody around first person he looked at was me and after I

almost defecated myself I slowly went to the ground I prayed to God I was just

hoping the moment would pass luckily enough the gun broke the gun broke and

or jammed and in that moment the man walked outside and left I tried to

revive the man I tried to give him CPR but he ended up passing away in my arms

so it's a little bit hard to tell you guys this story but it's true it did

happen to me and it is part of my life

"these kinds of things

people like that everywhere all the time.

so just appreciate what you have. Appreciate who

you notice in your life. Love them to the fullest forgive them and

try to be happy because you never know when something like this will happen."

I've debated for a long time whether or not I should really try to share this

story with so many people or tell people about what happened that day because a

lot of lives were affected and I have tremendous respect for people who are

going through any kind of grieving so with that in mind there is a lesson to

be learned from this ugliness there is something beautiful inside of how bad

that day was that I felt a huge urge to tell everyone I know besides the fact

that I believe God intervened in my life that day there was some key lessons I

learned directly thereafter and the months following in the years following

that I want to share with you today so I boiled it down to some of the main key

points that I think you will hopefully find some use in and see how it could

affect your life one thing I know is that that day I thought it was all over

I thought my life was done and I really thought I was going to die what that

does to you mentally is it's a like a reset button on the Nintendo or it's

just the lights cutting out and when you go through that you have to look at your

life in a whole new way you have a whole new perspective on everything around you

that being the case there were some personal things that I have been dealing

with and this tragic incident gave me an opportunity to really examine my life

and what I wanted to do with it I've never done before I kind of gone through

life doing whatever I wanted to and not really caring about the consequences

that's just the truth but what I will say is

one thing I found out was I thought I was a good person I gave myself the

label I'm a good person and by doing that it absolved me of doing

any kind of real work with the people in my life that were really close to me I'm

talking about family and friends and doing right by them and it could be and

it's in multiple different ways but the main point is that I gave myself a pass

and the problem with that is that it made me cover my eyes to the ugliest

parts of myself the things that I don't really like about me and when you do

that long enough you begin to believe that that's reality but the unfortunate

but fortunate thing about an event like this happening in your life is it makes

you see that you made all that up and there's some things that you need to

clean up about yourself what this incident did was make me see the ugliest

parts about myself what I needed to change and what I really needed to work

on all the way from my past and until present day and instead of really shying

away or trying to come up with the alternate reality

I embraced those ugly parts about myself that led me to say you know what okay

seeing this reality. No this facade of a good person doesn't exist but there is

a positive good challenge to become better to be a great person that's what

I mainly took from this entire tragedy that I hope can reach out to one of you

another thing that came from this incident was I was completely unaware of

the relationships that I had around me in the people that I knew and I was

unaware of the state those relationships were in meaning if people were really

angry with me but if if people didn't like what I was doing if they were

really happy with me disappointed in me I never took the time or considered how

I was doing in those relationships and how those relationships could get better

so I've used this as an opportunity to work on those relationships to build

those relationships little by little with small things like writing with

simple letters or changing my ways and my habits of talking to people really

starting from scratch so that's why I believe this incident was very fortunate

one of the biggest takeaways I got from this was the realization that my gifts

and talents were latent me and I never really worked on them or put them out

there for the world to see I've been told for years to hop in front of a

camera to say something on YouTube to make a podcast but I never did it and

still took me a while but I'm here now by doing this and seeing the effect it

has in other people's lives and how it makes them happier makes them believe

them in themselves and more it's really powerful and this process starts with

that reset button and then it goes into understanding the good in the bad and

then it goes into what exactly you can do to impact people's lives because

ultimately that's what life is about that's what I got from this whole

tragedy and I hope that it means something to you I hope that it changes

you I hope that you may have a friendship a relationship right now that

you can work on and you can make better and it'll make you and that person happy

there's a goal that you want to reach or something you want to attain that you've

been scared to do for the longest time hopefully by me putting this mug in

front of a camera it'll help you go out and do whatever you got to do as a group

as a unit Wake Up And Win, Revive Brand Co. we built this for that purpose for you

to have a chance to live the life that you always wanted to live not in a

cheesy way or fake but the real person that the whole world can see and be put

go through a near-death experience it is very harsh and

it definitely will leave you with some scars but the good news for you is that

we have opportunity here to share with you my near-death experience and some of

the personal gains that I got from it and the lessons that I've learned hopefully

it makes your life a little bit better it helps you get more perspective on the

things that are going around you and makes you a better person

together so please like subscribe share tell as many people as you can about

MOVE FORWARD FOR THE ONES WHO CAN'T (HOW TO DEAL WITH DEPRESSION) - Duration: 5:15.

welcome back and in today's video I had a motivation to talk about if you've had

a loved one passed away something that you might be able to take solace in

something that might ease your pain it's not going to take away your pain but it

might help you somewhat I've been thinking a lot it gets late at night and

my mind starts going and I get to thinking about things

what if someone close to me were to pass away and I was thinking how that might

affect me how you are probably feeling how it's affecting you and then I

thought about something something that's very the opposite of selfishness people

will say that they are in a better place but isn't that what we all say I think

when something like that happens to someone you're close to

it's hard for you to articulate across to the person that's feeling the pain

that you understand their pain but I get to thinking if it was to happen to me

that for them

I would go forward progress I would have a motivating driving force inside me I

would be up every morning so as if not to let them down I would move forward

and that's what I would say to you guys it's like if you are going through

something like that if that's something that's affecting you then move forward

progress use those memories of your loved ones the good memories the bad use

those memories move forward drive forward for the ones that can no longer

do that to the ones that can no longer move forward that have passed on move

forward for them let them live on through you let them let them come to a

larger monumental meaning I think that's what I would do is I probably wouldn't

take a step in towards progress that I didn't look back and think on the people

that are close to me the people that I care very much about and think

that's probably the right way to handle that specific energy so if you are going

through something like that I'm sorry I'm sorry that you feel the way that you

do and I hope that talking here helps I hope that's something that this is even

less what I do here on my channel I try to communicate across to you guys and I

don't want anybody out there and well known you guys feel bad so if you if it

helps move forward move forward not for just yourself but for them let them live

on through you and it's a good it's a good video if you guys if you need to

talk I'm here comments Instagram diems

Twitter diems here for you guys so don't forget that this channel loves

you also I did do that thing you guys want me to do I made the second channel

it's a coup Zilla acoustic Zilla it's funny songs it's

over on the right side under Greg the cat ripping Gregan and you guys can sub

to that and I'm just made that channel because I'm gonna I just feel like when

it gets late now I just wanna I just want to make a lot of unprofessional

songs that are just really bad and really funny and really awful and just

playing around just trying to enjoy your life you know I'm saying I'm not trying

to take anything serious I'm just trying to make the most why I'm here on this

earth because you know I'm doing that deep thinking stuff but you guys need

anything you know where I am and I'll see you guys in the next video

Can your house make you sick? - Duration: 1:58.

Today's professionals brought to you by the Basement Doctor. Hi everyone I'm here

with John Clements the basement doctor Good day. Good day. Good day madam.

So everybody's hacking and coughing and scratchy throats and just not feeling

well I feel great. Okay good. But everybody

else. Alright. Okay so can we blame that on a musty icky basement? Of course we can.

Or the kids at school? I'm the basement doctor so therefore the prescription is. Yeah what is

the prescription what should people be doing? As far as the house goes we're not

medical doctors by any means okay. I'm sure people were a little confused by that! But there are there are a lot of things

in our house that are making a sick you think about all the different remedies

that are on the market for the natural things and you spray this in the air

burn this light this salt rock things like that.

It's amazing what we're doing to ourselves by the environment that we put

ourselves in. What we've got to keep in mind as far as what I'm concerned with

is the basement if it's got that gunky smell the crawl space, oh man! If it's got

if you pick up open that door and you stick your head in and you don't like

the smell there's stuff growing in our stored articles, in the area underneath

the house and that air then wafts up into the first floor and we're breathing

it in. So there are multiple remedies? Oh yeah there are and it depends what type

of foundation and what's going on. But if you think about you're exposed to all

the people at work, you're you're breathing in the bad air, you're stuck in

the house all day long, that air isn't cycling outside, you're not opening the

windows and stuff like that. That crud gets in our body and yeah it does have

an effect and we can adjust some of it if it's in the house we can fix it.

All right well folks give John a call or stop in and see him, thanks for being here

everyone we'll see you next time.
