Good morning everyone! Today we are in Taichung
I am of course travelling with Victor
Taichung is the third biggest city in Taiwan after Taipei and Kaohsiung
And it's also famous for being where bubble tea would have been created...
Of course the first thing we will do today is to try this bubble tea
And after that we will have a "Wangshuai" (=instagram guy) day
We are a bit tired of temples and parks in Asian cities it's a bit repetitive
So we found addresses of cool districts and shops where we can take nice pictures
We are going to hunt the wangmei (=instagram girl)
And it's starting.. Now!
We would like 2 bubble tea
Small cup
A cold one, and a warm one. Less ice
Ok we are ready to try the original bubble tea, cheers!

We feel this ancestral taste of the very first bubble tea

And apparently it's contested that it's where it was created (all taiwanese contest it actually)
So.. It's done, we move on to the next step
We are going to find somewhere to have lunch
And then find the cool shops around Taichung and the Artists' District, full of renovated coffee shops

Ok we are reaching a must go Ice-cream shop in Taichung
It's called "I'm Talato"
Apparently it's THE place to take photos for wangmei girls
and the wangshuai guys like us (hmm)

We are in another ice-cream and dessert shop, a former japanese hospital which has been renovated
It sounds quite strange but apparently it's beautiful so here we are!
Now we are heading to Feng Jia District
Apparently the biggest night market in Taiwan, right?
- Yes that's right. - Ok, very well!
So here is the entrqnce of the biggest night market in Taiwan
Every weekend approximately 30 000 persons come to this night market
It's 3 times the population of Viroflay (my hometown in France) coming to this night market every weekend
For now what I like about this night market compared to the other ones we did...
... is that here it's not only one or two streets, it's a whole district arranged for the market
a bit like... Oh damn there is some good sound here

We kind of mistakened concerning the Artists' District thing
Actually it's near the district where we were at the beginning...
So nevermind we will first have a small dinner here and then head to...The Artists' District, on our way back

We are taking the juices with the most water and sugar added in history, but we are thirsty
- It's a sugar juice with some fruits inside...
That's right, just a few pieces of fruits to brighten up the drink

By the way, info for you: the buses are free in Taichung
If you have a transportation card you just need to pass it but you won't be charged until you exceed 10km
Very convenient because the taxi can quickly get expensive, and it's more expensive than in taipei!
