How The Matrix Of Fear Keeps Us Under Control

More and more people feel somehow unsatisfied and uneasy about their life, their job and/or

their relationships.

Must there not be more to life than that?

We work hard, we have earned material benefits for our immense efforts, we can afford lots

of nice things.

And actually, we think that we should be very happy.

But instead, we feel this void inside ourselves and no matter how many things we treat ourselves

with, how many steps we take on the career ladder it just never seems enough to fill

that void.

So it continues.

A bigger car, a bigger house, more clothes, another vacation, more toys for the kids,

a bigger TV, the latest smartphone etc.

We enjoy these things for a little while but then it is back.

This void inside of us.

We feel guilty, because we should be happy and yet are not.

We think back to times in our childhood, when we were just enjoying life, not having to

think or worry about anything.

How nice would it be to be that free again!

We feel trapped but dont see any way out.

Because the world is just working the way it is.

We need this job to pay for all these things we own, to be safe when we are old and to

offer our children a good life now and a better future than we had.

And so we tell ourselves:

Once I retire, I get to do all the fun things I am dreaming of now.

Then I will be free, then I can do whatever I want.

We are caught in this treadmill.

And somehow, although our head says: Accept it this will keep you safe, there is this

other inner voice whispering Break free!

You want to do something else, so go for it!

But for now, we are caught on this treadmill.

And somehow, although our head says:

Accept it, this will keep you safe, there is this other inner voice whispering

Break free!

You want to do something else, so go for it!

Do you recognize yourself?

Congratulations!

Although it does not feel like this right now, this is a very good thing.

Because you have received the wake up call.

And by reading this you know now that you are not alone.

It is time Wake up!

Waiting for retirement cannot really be the serious answer.

Life is not about suffering, it is about enjoyment.

It is an experience to be lived and we should make the best out of it.

But we were programmed to believe that suffering is necessary to enter paradise after death.

Guess what?

You can have your paradise right now.

We have forgotten a tiny bit of information, which is very necessary to rediscover for

ourselves again.

And this is what this wake up call is all about.

It alerts us to that inner calling.

Our true self is trying to get to the surface to show us that there is so much more in it

for us than just existing.

It reminds us, that the answer to inner peace and happiness can never be found outside of

ourselves.

We carry the key within.

Paradise is inside of each and every one of us.

Unfortunately we have locked that door for ourselves because society taught us something

else.

The Fear Programming

Have you seen the movie The Matrix?

It seemed like a science fiction piece, but actually, we are not so far away from that.

In that film, people are programmed to experience certain things without being in a real world.

All of what they experience every day are illusions and projections.

When Neo the main character of the film comes out of the matrix for the first time

and is asked to support to save humanity and bring it back to its true existence, he is

asked if he wants to swallow the red or the blue pill.

The red one will fully awaken him to reality and detach him from the matrix programming.

The blue one will put the veil of forgetfulness back over him and he will go back into the

dream state within the matrix.

Although we are not in a state like in the film, where some machines take over the power

and keep our bodies lying somewhere, plugged into a computer program, we are nevertheless

in a state of hypnosis.

We gave away our control.

What? You might think now, but I have my free will and I can vote and I can

buy all these great things that I want to have, I can choose where I want to live and

travel etc.

Yes, true but is this true freedom?

Why do we feel incomplete then?

Nature always does a perfect job in creating its beings and keeping everything in balance.

So what went wrong with the human species?

From a very young age, we are programmed.

Societal conventions and behavioral patterns are ingrained into our system and mind at

a very young age.

From a very young age, we are programmed.

Societal conventions and behavioral patterns are ingrained into our system and mind at

a very young age.

Our parents teach us what they had been taught.

Generation by generation: Not to trust any strangers, that the world is a dangerous place,

that there is not enough for everyone and that you have to be better than others to

be able to make it in this world.

They show us how a relationship should be and teach us the roles that we should take

in life.

Being the good wife and mother taking care of everyone and making everyone happy.

Being the successful and strong husband and father that earns enough money and protects

the family.

At a very young age, girls are taught how to look good and how to be attractive, how

to be a good girl and behave helpless and weak, so that you get a good catch later that

takes care of you.

Boys get programmed that crying and showing emotions other than anger is a sign of weakness

and not male at all.

We go to school and we are taught a lot of rather useless things that are all just food

for the head.

History, politics, geography, law etc.

All things we learn to forget a big portion of again right away.

We get grades to foster the competition between our fellow students.

We learn to put conditions on everything and have expectations towards everyone.

What we do not learn in school is teamwork, mindfulness, compassion, and being and appreciating

our authentic self.

We start our first job and believe what our parents and teachers told us: We have to work

hard for our money and we need to be better than the rest.

The competition continues.

We are kept in a feeling of separation.

We are told that we are alone and somehow have to make it through boot camp earth although

we do not even understand why we exist.

We do not question it, because everyone is playing the same game.

So it must be true.

We watch TV or go to the movies to see Hollywood productions.

They show us how our world should be in terms of romance and love or show us all the ugliness

of this world and all the dangers and brutality.

The news only talks about what is wrong in the world, what we need to fight and fix and

how much hate and evil is out there.

Rarely do they talk about all these amazing and good things happening every day on earth

that outweigh the bad news big time!

Commercials and Marketing program us in terms of what we need to want in life and what is

needed to be someone that is accepted in society.

Church teaches us to be humble and feel guilty.

The list goes on.

We are not even aware of all of this is mental programming.

It all intends to do one thing: To keep us in a state of fear.

Because fear makes sure that we remain in a state of dependency.

Dependent upon the government, dependent upon your job, dependent upon your partner and

so on.

Someone who is in fear can be easily controlled.

Fear keeps us in a thinking pattern that we are not good enough and not worthy to receive

love and joy.

So what is the solution?

We are so used to these patterns, that we dont even see them anymore and take them

for granted.

We are convinced that this is our only reality.

That is just the way this world works.

How could we ever manage to get out of this?

It is all about Self-love

The key is very simple, but it is quite hard to dig it up.

In order to leave these patterns, we have to learn how to love ourselves.

Leaving a pattern of fear and growing into a world of love is what we have to do.

By doing this, all of a sudden, we have access to a complete new self.

Actually, that is our original self, the one we have forgotten about and locked into a

cage.

The one that knows exactly what we want.

The one that knows what love is and is able to give and receive love with each and everyone

around.

Sounds cheesy?

Yes, because you are associating love with the conditional love we were programmed with.

That we need another person to make us whole.

That we need respect and admiration from others to feel good.

That is not the love I am talking about.

Here, we look at unconditional love.

A feeling of joy, awe and bliss that you sometimes get a glimpse of, for example when you are

struck by the beauty of a moment in nature.

In these rare moments, time has no meaning anymore, the head is completely shut off and

all there is, is an immense feeling of being at peace with everything.

And you know what?

This is how life is supposed to be permanently.

To be in a feeling of oneness with everything and everyone around us.

It all starts with self-love.

As long as we dont love ourselves and do not feel good enough, we will stay in a place

of fear.

We will not be able to share our love freely and unconditionally but will depend on the

love of others.

It all starts with self-love.

As long as we dont love ourselves and do not feel good enough, we will stay in a place

of fear.

We will not be able to share our love freely and unconditionally, but we will depend on

the love of others.

Have you ever met a person that seemed to be so at ease with him or herself and no matter

what this person does, everything just seems to fall into place for them in a perfect manner?

They seem to be always lucky, happy and in the flow?

And you ask yourself what their secret is?

Now you know: They love themselves.

They always put themselves first.

They respect themselves and honor themselves for who they are.

Not in a selfish way.

They love to share but they know the difference between unconditional giving and unconditional

love.

They keep healthy boundaries.

They dont care about materialistic things.

They can still enjoy those, but they dont depend on them.

They have rediscovered their intuition and follow it.

They have recognised the difference between the programmed mind, also called the ego,

and the free spirit what the mind actually is, once it is freed from its ego-prison.

They have silenced this little 24/7 chatter box inside their head, permanently jumping

from past to future and back, worrying about everything.

They have put their ego in the backseat so that it is not in the lead anymore.

They have discovered how to live in the now.

They have swallowed the red pill and have let go of everything they were programmed

to believe was real.

They have exited the matrix and live without fear.

They choose love.

Every day.

That is your choice, too: Red or blue.

Moving on to PERFECTION - Duration: 1:32.

Practice makes perfect.

Through our daily walk with Jesus, learning from Him every day, knowing His voice, and

getting to understand His ways, we should become better every day at following Jesus,

at doing His will.

We should be moving on to perfection, being mature followers of Jesus Christ, sons of

God.

Those who are being led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Are we moving on to perfection in our walk with Jesus, or are we still struggling with

the first principles of believing in Jesus, repentance from sin and dead works, and learning

obedience from Him?

If we do not become mature and move on to perfection we will never be suitable to be

true disciples of Jesus Christ.

Are we moving on to perfection?

May Jesus bless you.

Jesus Christ is alive and hell is real.

I am here to introduce you to Jesus Christ so that you can know Him and follow Him and

Sinful - Duration: 3:22.

So, what does Adam and Eve's sin mean for you and me?

Well, first off it means that we're no longer born holy.

We're born sinful.

The psalmist says, "Surely, I was sinful at birth,

sinful from the time my mother conceived me."

That truth of Scripture is called original or inherited sin.

The idea is that it's passed on from one generation to the other.

So, you have your parents to thank for original sin,

and they can thank their parents and all the way back to Adam and Eve.

The concept is very simple.

Apple trees produce apples.

Orange trees produce oranges.

Potato trees produce . . .

did I fool you on that one?

There are no potato trees.

But sinful human beings?

They produce sinful human beings.

And it doesn't take long for us to show it.

When my daughter, Evie, was born.

Beth and I thought that she was probably the perfect baby.

She was so good we thought maybe original sin had jumped generation

because she would,

we'd be out and about and, you know how this works if you're a parent.

You're not able to feed them at the ideal time for them.

And she would give just a little squawk,

kind of saying, "You know what mom and dad?

I know you're super busy but I'm really hungry

so whenever you get around to feeding me, that'd be great."

But that did not last long .

It did not take long for her to realize that if she screams her head off,

mom and dad jump into action right away.

We don't need to teach our kids to be selfish.

They're born with it.

But the worst effect of sin

is death.

The Bible says

for the wages of sin is death.

And it says all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

So let's do this.

Let's say that we're going on a trip.

It's me, and you, and a friend of yours.

And we're going to go to the Grand Canyon.

And we get to a spot at the Grand Canyon that is about a mile wide.

Then I say to you, "Hey guys, I've got a great idea!

Let's try to jump across."

And you say,

"That's awesome, Dave. You first."

So, I go first.

And I get up to the edge of the mountain, or of the cliff,

and I trip on a rock and I bounce off the rock face all the way down.

What happens to me?

I die.

Okay, then your friend goes next.

And they've got a nice jump, a 15-foot jump.

What happens to them?

They die.

And now you go and you got some crazy tale wind or something

and you set a new world record, 50 feet.

What happens to you?

You die.

No matter how good we think we are,

we don't even come close to what God expects.

We need somebody to cross this bridge for us.

And the Bible says that we have that someone.

The Bible says, "God made him who had no sin to be sin for us,

so that in him we might become the righteousness or the holiness of God."

Jesus actually became my sin and yours on the cross.

And in exchange, he gave us his holiness and his perfection.

We'll talk more about how he did that tomorrow.

First Gathering of Legends - One Night Ultimate Werewolf: The First Night - Duration: 14:05.

Intro not Subtitled

Tab:So last night was pretty fun there was a lot of booze i kind of slept like a rock

*Few seconds of inaudible stuff*

*Almost There*

Torus:Alright who was the Seer, anyone want to claim to be the Seer?

Torus: Thats not a bad role by the way.

Tab: except you're a crazy person.

xZero: True

Torus: Is that why you're rocking back and forth like a crazy person?

Tab: I can't help it!

Grizzly: I think matt's (Tab's) the werewolf, cause he calls me out right off the bat.

Tab:???

Torus: How would you know that unless you were a werewolf?

Tab: I heard it!

Torus: No ones claiming to be a Seer?

Torus: Is anybody the trouble maker?

xZero: I might be a troublemaker.

Tab: I can confirm that you're the troublemaker.

xZero: it's not like i have really limited space to move our anything.

Torus: Okay, so you're claiming to be a troublemaker.

xZero: Maybe.

Torus: Kiwi you're awfully quiet.

Torus: What did you do.

Kiwi: Not a single thing.

xZero: Well then you're the worst.

Tab: So.

xZero: Making bold claims!

Tab: Is anybody an insomniac?

Who looked at their card?

xZero: Nobody want to confirm who the insomniac is?

Torus: Two middle cards?

Tab: Okay so, the villagers.

xZero: so really....

Tab: So the Robber had to switch, and the Robbers not gonna tell you.

So he took the werewolf.

Errr he took the werewolf so he's not going to say that he was the Robber.

Tab: Okay who didn't take any cards.

Torus: Well apparently nobody looked at any cards or took any cards.

Tab: Well unless they were the robber.

Tab: I feel like we picked the worst villagers.

Torus: I feel like we need the masons.

xZero: If there were a robber... how does the robber work again?

Torus: They switch their card with someone elses

Tab: and they have the new win condition of the new person, right?

Torus: Yeah.

Tab: So then they basically are no longer the robber, cause whoever they switched with is the robber.

So if you know who the robber is please let us know.

xZero: I'll have you know that II was absolutely the trouble maker.

Tab: Then you switched, wait who did you switch?

xZero: I switched.. you(tab) with him(Grizzly).

Tab: okay, what were you(Grizzly)?

Grizzly: What was I?

xZero: Oh boy... well then.

Torus: well what were you(Tab)?

Tab: Not saying!

xZero: I think i have 2 potential targets in mind.

Tab: What about Chris(torus) what are you Chris(torus)?

Torus: Wouldn't you like to know?

xZero: ... I have 3 potential targets in mind.

Torus: Kiwi's awfully quiet.

xZero: Kiwi contribute.

Mr.Kiwi: I might be the werewolf....

xZero: Okay so he's the tanner nobody pay any attention to him anymore.

Torus: Or he's the werewolf trying to convince you that he's the tanner.

xZero: Well.... he is Kiwi though.

Tab: Okay, originally this is what it was.

So..

Torus: How do you know i was the robber?

Tab: inside information.

who did you switch with.

Torus: How would you know I was the robber???

Tab: Because I know things!

Torus: How would you know anything?

xZero: I like his tone, it makes me want to believe him.

Grizzly: It's because he(Tab) was the Seer.

Tab: But if I was the Seer I would have said that right away.

xZero: Yeah.

Tab: Don't worry about it...

Soo..

Who did you(Torus) switch with.

Torus: There's no way you could have known I was anything if you weren't the Seer.

Tab: So I know who...

xZero: So you're(Tab) the minion..

Tab: Wait, I don't know about Brandon(Chaoz), we don't know about Brandon(Chaoz).

Torus: He's awfully quiet.

Tab: Okay I take that back.

What if you(Grizzly) were the robber...

Wait that doesn't make sense...

Torus: What doesn't make sense is how you don't know I was the robber, er, if I was

the robber.

Tab: Okay,

Torus: What makes you think I was the robber!

Tab: It doesn't matter.

Torus: Yes It does matter that's the point of the game.

Is finding how it matters.

xZero: That time limit sucks!

Grizzly: You'd think that 10 minutes would be more than enough.

Tab: Well usually it is but we don't have any good villagers.

Cause no one stepped up as the Seer, no one stepped up as the insomniac.

Torus: Why aren't you stepping up as anything?

Tab: ....because....

SO!

Grizzly: Because he's the werewolf!

Tab: Unless the trouble maker admitted that he switched me with you(Grizzly) making you(Grizzly)

the werewolf.

But I don't know who you(Grizzly) were.

But I also don't know who the robber was.

Torus: How do you know I am the robber, I'm not the robber!

Tab: Technically, if you were the robber.

Torus: How do you have inside information, are you cheating?

Tab: The video evidence will show that I am not.

Inaudible banter

Tab: Okay, okay, how about we do this.

Let's take a quick vote to see what the group thinks.

xZero: Okay

Tab: On the count of 3, everyone say who they want to shoot.

Torus: point at them.

Tab: Okay thats a good idea.

Tab: 1, 2, 3.

Tab: Okay, we had 2 people on......

ITS A 3 WAY TIE!!

xZero: This is a horrible combination.

Tab: Why do you(Torus) want to kill me?

Torus: Because I don't trust you. You're not explaining how you know anything.

Tab: You're not explaining anything either!

Torus: I didn't claim anything!

Tab: But you didn't explain anything, just like Brandon(chaoz).

I Kinda want to kill all 3 of you (Torus, Chaoz, and Grizzly) But, having to pick one.

Torus: They(Kiwi and Chaoz) haven't said anything!

Tab: He(Kiwi) can't be the one to die he's the tanner.

Torus: Or he's(Kiwi's) a werewolf!

xZero: I feel like i'm severely underestimating you(Grizzly) while overestimating you(Tab).

Torus: Alright now what?

Tab: If I started as the werewolf, he(xZero) switched me with Clay(Grizzly) that means

Clay is the next werewolf.

But I think you(Torus) switched...

Or the Robber, switched.

Torus: He Switched my card with him?

so I am the robber now?

Tab: Or he(xZero) switched with Clay(Grizzly) so that Clay's the robber now... and the robber

is the werewolf.

Torus: Were you(Tab) a werewolf? if you're so confident you've been switched, you can

say.

Grizzly: No, he's(Tab's) the werewolf now.

Grizzly: Now you're(Tab) the werewolf.

xZero: There's a werewolf in all of us honestly...

Tab: Absolutely.

Okay, let's try again.

1, 2, 3.

xZero: now i really want to kill you(Grizzly) I'm sorry.

Torus: Wait he(Chaoz) pointed at Kiwi, he(xZero) pointed at you.... okay i guess we're killing Clay(Grizzly) then.

xZero: Sorry man.

Tab: Okay Clay(Grizzly) flip you're card.

Torus: Well the werewolf wins.

Torus: I was the robber, i switched with you(Tab) making me the minion so i had to guard

whoever was the werewolf that I didn't know!

So i'm trying to figure it out.

Chaoz: I was the werewolf!

Torus: You were?

So kiwi was the tanner.

xZero: It was the ONLY thing we got right!!

Torus: what were you(xZero) really?

xZero: I was actually the troublemaker.

Tab: I was totally the minion but I only saw Clay(grizzly with the card, er, the thumbs

up.

Did i miss you're(Chaoz) thumb?

WTF MAN?

Hold it up just like this!

like out!

like out!

xZero: Aw man.

Torus: Yeah I was the Robber, I switched with you(Tab) and i'm like I'm a minion now!

Tab: How did I know?

How did I know?

cause i was a?????

Grizzly:I was a werewolf and I'm like, he's(xZero's) a troublemaker and you tell me he switched

????

Matt's(Tab's) the werewolf.

Torus: so how did you(Tab) know i was the robber?

Tab: So originally I completely forgot that Brandon(Chaoz) was here. But, that is the flaw in my logic.

I knew that he(Grizzly) was a werewolf, I knew that he(xZero) was the troublemaker,

and I thought I heared him move my card with someone else, later he(xZero) admitted that

he switched me and him(Grizzly).

He(Grizzly) was the minion and I was the werewolf, you(Torus) had to switch with somebody else

and I assumed

Torus: what if i switched with the middle?

Tab: but why would you do that though?

Oh that reminds me!

We were right!

Torus: And we put them on the right ones too.

So

xZero: pretty Genius actually.

Tab: So, that and i knew you switched with one of us cause i didn't hear you grab anyone

of their(Kiwi or Chaoz) cards.

Therefore you're win condition was to have the werewolf win.

Torus: okay.

Tab: Again, that was completely forgetting about Brandon(Chaoz).

xZero: Totally want to do that again though.

Tab: Oh yeah definitely.

xZero: that was neat.

Torus: And hopefully more people will, you know, talk!

Tab: YEAH Brandon(Chaoz)!

Torus: AND Kiwi!

Tab: Kiwi's like... uh... oh yeah I hate my life.

Tab:Shut up tanner!

xZero: I PICK THIS CARD AS MY IDENTITY!

Tab: No that was mine!

How To Become a Top Closer and Best Salesperson - Duration: 3:34.

what's the guaranteed way to become the

best, undisputed world champion, number

one top closer, King Kong, the best salesperson of your

dealership your company and your brand?

it's all about consistency and repetition.

the city of brotherly love is the home of one of the best boxers ever

but no i'm not talking about Rocky

Balboa though I am standing in the

Italian market that he made famous in

Rocky 1. I'm talking about a real boxer,

smokin' Joe Frazier. Look in his prime

Frazier defeated the great Muhammad Ali

in the nineteen seventy one fight dubbed

the fight of the century, but no one gets

to that level of greatness without some

serious practice and discipline. Smokin'

Joe had a great quote about his

preparation and training, and it was

something like this; "when action

starts it may not go the way you planned

and you're down to your reflexes, you

developed during your training, and that's

where the road work shows, the training

you did in the darkness in the morning

will be found out under the bright

lights of the competition. Think

about that man? Where was Joe Frazier's

bright light? Wasn't it in the ring,

the Thrila in Manila, Madison Square Garden? But

where are bright lights in sales? Isn't

it when we're face to face with a

customer or on the phone with that customer?

Your results and your income, man they're a

direct reflection of the skills

developed from your training and the

work that you did in the darkness of

your morning. I mean I doubt any boxer at

any level or at least any smart one

anyway has ever stepped into the ring

without repeated training, development,

and practice. Yet, you know in the car

business it's easy to get caught up in

the day-to-day stuff and then we end up

stepping into the ring with the customer

or on the lot with them and we end up

practicing on our customers and we get

knocked out seventy to eighty percent of

the time or even more. Philadelphia

native Marvin Harrison Hall of Fame wide

receiver in the NFL, he played for the

Indianapolis Colts, he got it right when he

said

"they pay us for practice, and the games

are for fun." Think about that for

a second, "they pay us for practice and

the games are for fun." In sales we think

we get paid for the time we spend with the customer.

The reality is, we're being paid

for the practice, training and

development we do daily in between the

customers, before we step into the ring.

When we put in the effort and the

training outside of the transaction we

will be rewarded with the reflexes to

become the best salesperson on the

planet. The top closer on the board in your

dealership. The world champion of sales.

Selling is the best career in the world

when you're good, it sucks when you're

not. So what I want you guys to do, at a

minimum, take 15 to 20 minutes every

single day and practice and develop your

skills. Practice whether it's in your

car on the way to work or it's when you

get to work or when you're at home. Make

sure you're practicing 15 to 20 minutes

a day. Bottom line, amateurs practice

until they get it right pros practice

until they can't get it wrong. Some

people have the resolve to push and make

things happen others get tired and all

they do is give up.

Which one are you going to be?

Why We March for Science - Duration: 2:59.

This march is kinda controversial.

Some scientists don't think we should be here.

They believe science is apolitical, that the scientific method rises beyond politics, and

scientists who March on Washington run the risk of politicizing science.

And yes there are totally some problems with this.

We agree that the process of experimentation isn't political, but everything else about

science is.

Where the money for research comes from, what research gets funded, who gets to run studies,

who gets studied, what happens to the results, how much that research gets integrated into

Congress, the Supreme Court, and how much of it is used by the President, ALL OF THAT

IS POLITICAL!

Science has also been used to justify heinous politics in the past.

But when it comes to Washington, if you aren't at the table, then you're probably on the

menu.

Groups of people who make their voice heard are more likely to get money from Congress.

If you ignore the political process, if you stay silent, no one in there, in Congress,

is going to do anything to help you.

This is why we are here, because science is being attacked.

The National Institutes of Health, the organization that funds all the research that my job depends

on got an 18% cut in President Trump's budget.

That's 18% less for ALL OF HEALTHCARE RESEARCH!

The National Science Foundation, the organization that funds a lot of my research in developmental

psychology, it wasn't even mentioned in Trump's budget.

The NSA wasn't mentioned?

Yeah.

BLEEP!

Bleep!

None of us even knows what that means - are you going to get money are you not going to

get money, what's going to happen?

We're kinda freaking out a little bit!

It's not just about funding for research.

Science has become a politically polarized issue and under the Trump administration science

has been excluded more from the Federal government than we've ever seen in the past.

This has to change.

President Trump and Congress need to pass a budget that strengthens our scientific institutions,

the institutions that are responsible for curing illnesses, developing new treatments,

and creating technologies that improve the quality of our lives.

Scientific research needs to be the cornerstone of all government policy - we should be creating

laws based on sound evidence, not the personal opinions of politicians.

Learn more about how you can get involved by visiting March for Science.

Did you attend a march for science?

If so, please tell us what your science said because there is a strong sign game back here.

Why do you care about science?

Let us know in the comments below.

Like on my head.

Over here.

Comment right here.

But don't comment right here.

Cause that would be a fake comment.

Oh, fake news!

Right and Left in Israel - ever changing meaning - Duration: 14:27.

Growing up in Israel in the 80's, first thing you learn about politics, is that all

the parties are organized along an axis of right and left.

You learn that the left used to be in power, but that there was a big change over in 1977

when the right took control, and since then each side tries to take the power with each

elections.

Sometimes no side can fully win and they compromise and participate in a unity government, and

implement a rotation for the job of prime minister.

And what is the left and right argument all about?

The answer in the 80's and 90's would be that it's about the willingness to make

peace with the arabs, vs the will to keep all the territories that were occupied in

the 1967 war under our control.

LReft were all in favor of "land for peace", while the right was concerned for the safety

of Israel, and also wanted to settle all the land, that it saw as belonging to the Jews.

That may seem strange to some people around the world.

This dove - hawk dichotomy is not the most common meaning attributed to the left right

scale, especially in the relatively peaceful world we're living in today.

Well, the thing is, that in Israel too the common meaning of left and right is always

changing.

While the axis itself always remains, and so do the places of the different parties

along it, the actual meaning of left and right shifted and changed many times.

In today's Israel, people do not see "left" and "right" as so distinctively based

on that old "land for peace" formula anymore.

As the peace process faded into oblivion after the second intifada, the Gaza strip was evacuated,

worldwide terrorism rose and uncertainty grew, all that peace talk is no longer all the rage

at the left.

They are now more concerned about human rights - of palestinians of course, but also of women,

of the LGBT community, of the African migrants / refugees that infiltrate the country, etc.

The right wing is now a mixture of hawkish security concerned people, social conservatism

and religious affiliations.

It becomes quite similar to what goes in the rest of the world today.

Now let's go back in time.

There was a time in the past that the left and right distinction was very different from

the "Land for Peace" mantra I grew up on.

The event that marks the switch was the 1967 war.

In that war, Israel was on the verge of being attacked from three borders by ten Arab states

backed by the soviet union.

Israel preemptively attacked and won brilliantly, conquering Sinai peninsula and the Gaza strip

from Egypt, Golan territory in the north from Syria and the whole west bank from Jordan

- thus gaining control over many palestinians in the west bank and Gaza.

That war is what introduced the whole dilemma of "Land for peace", because before it,

there was no land to give back in return for any peace.

So before that war - what was right and left all about?

To understand that we have to go back quite a bit, to before the establishment of Israel

in 1948, and further back to the days between the world wars.

That was the time when the modern Jewish settlement in Israel took form.

This settlement, known by the hebrew word "Yeshuv" will later become the state of

Israel.

The rise of Jewish immigration to the British controlled area that is to become Israel,

was encouraged by the Zionist movements.

Zionism, at least then, meant exactly that - a movement within the Jewish communities

all over the world, that set as a target to create a homeland for Jews in the historic

land of Israel, and encourage Jews to migrate to it.

The time between the world wars was an ideologic time all over the world.

Many "isms" gained momentum in that era, some with very grave consequences.

Socialism was a rising ideology, having just gained power in the soviet union, and also

a rising in power in many other European states.

As it turned out, many of the Jews that migrated to the land of Israel, were combining the

Zionist and Socialist ideologies.

Back then the land was called Palestine.

It was named so back at the Roman days.

It did not have any kind of independence for millennia.

It was under british control after Britain conquered it from the Ottoman empire during

world war 1.

It was very undeveloped and backwards.

The typical Jew that was willing to come here back then had to be very motivated and ready

to work hard and deal with harsh conditions, without much prospects for economic advancement.

The combination of Socialism and Zionism was the main force behind the majority of the

Jewish migrants that did come.

The combined ideologies where the motivating force behind young men and women from Russia

and eastern Europe, that came here after indoctrination back in their home countries, to revive the

old homeland with their own blood sweat and tears, and create a new nation with a new

kind of Jewish citizens, different from the typical Jews they left abroad.

These were forming years for the Jewish "Yeshuv" in Israel.

Leaders rose, and ideologies and myths were formed for years to come.

The leaders of that time created the institutions that will become the heart of the state of

Israel in their socialistic vision.

Big powerful concentrated central authorities were in its base - later they will evolve

into the government of Israel - ההסתדרות הציונית - The Zionist Organisation,

the "סוכנות" - the Jewish Agency for Israel, and the הסתדרות - federation

of labor were controlling the entire economy and most of the aspects of life of everyone

in Israel.

That was also the time of the great flowering of the "Kibutz" - a communal type of settlement

unique to Israel that was the ideological pinnacle of that era.

So in that time, what was the meaning of left and right?

We see in the forming years a socialist Elite, central socialized institutions and a socialist

majority in the population in Israel.

That constituted the hegemonic left that held power for many years, basically until the

changeover of 1977.

On the right side there were the minority of the population, and the opposing factions

of the Zionist movement and the Yeshuv.

The most dominant of them was called the "revisionist Zionist" movement.

If on the left we see at the top people like David Ben Gurion and Haim Wiezmann, later

to become the prime minister and president of Israel respectively, the leading figure

on the right was Zeev Jabotisnky.

The revisionists were objecting to the way the left linked and entangled together Zionism

and Socialism.

A famous slogan coined by Jabotinsky was "one flag" - meaning that all the Zionists should

unite around one goal, which is to create a Jewish state in the land of Israel.

They should not attach it to Socialist ideology but rather accept equally all the Jews and

form together a free country.

The revisionists represented the middle class - business owners, entrepreneurs, both in

Europe and in Israel.

The revisionist movement gained a lot of popularity among the European Jews.

They had their own successful youth movement called "beitar", and were even more popular

than the other Zionist organizations.

but it was having harder times bringing Jews to Palestine - first because its middle class

target crowd were more settled in their states of origin, unlike the socialist youth forming

the left, and less willing to change their lives and migrate.

Secondly, the left that was already holding a lot of power and also influence on the British

occupiers, acted to block the migration to Israel from people of their opposing political

faction.

So in terms of numbers here in Israel, the left won big.

With the rise of the Nazis and the imminent disaster looming over the Jews of Europe,

socialist and bourgeois alike, the flow of Jews of all classes attempting to escape Europe

and migrate to Israel strengthened, but by that time the influence of the Arabs caused

the British authorities to limit the Jewish migration and thus the right left balance

was not changed.

Another issue that was dividing left and right on these forming years, besides the Socialism

issue, was the prefered strategy for gaining independence.

The left's strategy throughout the pre-independence era was to try and gain the good will of an

international power, namely the british, and the international community, and in the spirit

of the Balfour declaration to create a Jewish homeland under their protection.

The general tendency on the left was to disregard the Arab native population.

The Arab population in Palestine was rising rapidly in that time because of the economic

boom that the Jewish migration triggered.

Many Arabs migrated from the surrounding region to Israel.

Also, the access to better health treatment and other services that both the british and

the Jews built here were helping the Arab population grow.

The left did not regard the Arab as much of an obstacle towards the goal of gaining independence.

The right on the other hand was not so casual about the their presence.

Jabotinsky famously claimed that gaining independence will entail an imminent war with the Arabs.

While the left ignored them, or relied on diplomacy and foreign powers for protection,

Jabotinski pointed out that no indigenous population has ever given up their land without

a fight.

His suggested strategy was named "the iron wall" - the Jews need to become militarily

strong as to appear to the Arabs as unbreakable as an Iron wall, and force them to accept

the Jewish presence.

Only then would peace be achievable.

In the perspective of years to come, this attitude seems very obvious, but at that time

it was not the consensus at all.

Many on the left feared that this attitude might get the Jews into more trouble with

the British and the Arabs.

The military forces that the left has created were primarily local militias that were designed

to guard Jewish settlements against robbers and small mob attacks.

It was not designed primarily as an army that might take on a full blown war against the

local Arabs, let alone against invading Arab countries.

Only very late, after the second world war has already ended, and when the independence

was very probable, did the left, mainly Ben Gurion himself, realize the validity Jabotiski's

position.

Jabotiski himself died at 1940.

Ben Gurion came to adopt in full the concept of Iron wall, and as the saying goes" better

late than never", created an army on the basis of the "Hagana" militia.

This is the army that fought and won the war of independence.

By that time, there were competing underground militias in the Yeshuv: Hagana was affiliated

with the dominant left, and the Etzel and Lechi, smaller but more militant organizations,

were affiliated with the right.

There was a bitter rivalry between the two sides, that occasionally turned violent.

The left had even cooperated with the British in an attempt to neutralize the militias of

the right.

During the war of independence, Ben gurion had declared the creation of Tzahal - the

Israeli army, on the basis of the Left wing Hagana militia.

The right wing militias were to be absorbed into the army too but without forming their

own units and their commanders were to lose their power, and not be incorporated in the

army command.

That intent lead to the deadly incident when Ben Gurion commanded the newly created army

to shoot down a ship named "Altalena" that brought weapons to the right wing militia

"Etzel".

After winning the war of independence, the Left was the hegemonic power in the young

socialist democracy.

The right lost its military power, its leading figure Jabotisky had died and without him

their political power faded.

On the foreign policy level, The left continued the Iron wall policy it adopted from the right

just before the war.

It worked hard to build the military strength of the army.

There was no other feasible option.

So at that time being left wing was the norm, and being and thinking right wing meant mainly

resenting the government for ditching the right wing militias, and being part of a small

bourgeois class, resenting the socialist centralized government.

That government discouraged any private initiative and using the all encompassing workers organisation

called "Histadrut" controlled all the aspects of life in Israel.

So as you see, right and left in Israel is the most dominant axis on which the political

stances are stretched, but it has changed over the years.

If we take the concept of Left, we see it transforming from an ideology of young self

sacrificing pioneers that formed the first Kibutzim communes, to a hegemonic political

force that created a socialist centralized bolshevik style authorities and government.

We see the left inclined to gain support for a Jewish state by diplomacy, and later, while

still being called left, it supported the attitude of iron wall, adopted from the right.

We will see the left slowly give up the centralized economy as it almost lead the country to a

Venezuelan style collapse, and replace that ideology for the "land for peace" mantra.

Most recently when that mantra faded too, the Israeli left lined up with the rest of

the world to emphasize human rights, support an activist high court and big government.

In the following videos I will focus on many specific events and phenomena in that ever

changing left right dynamics, such as: The tale of the economy in Israel how it almost

collapsed but was saved by american intervention and a rare left-right collaboration

The story of the Kibutzim - a truly unique voluntary communist form of living and their

inevitable collapse.

The politics of the "Land for peace" or the new version implemented in Gaza "Land

for nothing"

All of that and more is to come in future videos, so please subscribe to the channel.

I hope you enjoyed this video, stay safe, shalom velehitraot from Israel!

הרב עופר ארז- Why do we need Rabbi Nachman of Breslev - Duration: 14:57.

Rabbi Dessler says, that when our sages saw that the second Temple will be destroyed

and they saw the downfall of generations and the high level concealment

that will start to happen in the world.

They said that if we leave only one day of Rosh Hashana

that the world gets judged according to how much they are do for the sake of heaven

then the Jews would not be able to withstand judgement.

The Jews would not be able to withstand that judgment since it is too harsh.

We cannot really do things for sake of heaven,

And therefore Rav Dessler explains this deep point

why did our sages determine that there needs to be another day of Rosh Hashana when the destruction of the second temple was destroyed

in order to ease the judgment on us.

If we would only get judged according to the first day of Rosh Hashana we would not withstand the judgement

if we would get judged on how much we really meant everything we did for the sake of heaven then G-d have mercy.

and therefore our sages fixed the second day of Rosh Hashana,

in order to allow us to pass and win the case of an easier judgement.

And this is what the holy Zohar calls "Dina Rafya" easier judgement in the lower courts

to help us pass the judgment.

However, if this is so then what do we actually get judged for on Rosh Hashana?

We said that on the first day a person gets judged according to his heart, how much he did for the sake of heaven in his actions

and with this most of the Jewish nation would not withstand such a judgment

woe to us if that should be our judgment

so therefore our sages made it easier on us.

The question though arises

what do get judged for on the second day of Rosh Hashana?!

If the 1st day is judgment on our heart's true intentions, what is the second day for...

And here Rav Dessler says a big chidush (innovation)

it is almost not mentioned in any other book

this fundamental

Rav Dessler says the following;

When a person cannot serve Hashem with pure intention for heaven's sake

meaning that in his thoughts and inner heart he intends to purely give joy to Hashem through his actions

and certainly we are not on that level

and we wish that 1 out of 50 times we would merit to do something for the sake of heaven

in our generation 1 out of 50 times for heaven sake is considered a big Tzadik.

So says Rav Dessler

One who cannot withstand this type of judgment

Hashem gives him a different purpose a completely different matter

and what is this other matter

How much he is worthy and merits to be a vessel and to serve the true Tzadik

and help in fixing the world where the true Tzadik does his work.

Rav Dessler continues;

We do not get judged for our thoughts and our actions

since we are not able to withstand that judgment

and indeed our existance is in the merit of the True Tzadik which were his vessels

and we get judged on Rosh Hashana to clarify if we are worthy to this merit or not.

And by this we are different then all other creaitons

that our entire judgement is depentant on the Tzadik's needs alone.

and that is what we get judged for on Rosh Hashana,

Whether we are worthy to merit to serve the Tzadik or not.

And this which Rav Dessler says is a huge chidush which needs to be clarified.

Rav Dessler is saying that the second day is the "Easy judgment"

that the entire essence of this "easy judgment" and what we get judged for is

How much are we worthy to serve the True Tzadik.

We have to understand what this means, what does it mean to "serve the Tzadik"

So if we already believe that Rabenu is the true Tzadik that fixes the souls of Am Yisrael,

then what does it mean to "serve him" what does he need us today?

He is already in the high places of Heaven he is where ever he is

how can we be of service or a vessel to the Tzadik?

So on this says Rabbi Natan in Likutey Halachot

(Here Rav Dessler says this concept in general but does not get into the deeper meaning)

Rabbi Natan expands on this and explains

To serve someone means to fulfill their will

When someone wants something how can you help him? By fulfilling his will.

So in order to know how we can serve and be a vessel for the Tzadik

we need to ask the question, what does the Tzadik want?

And the moment we know what he wants and fulfill that will we become a vessel to the Tzadik.

So says Rabbi Natan in Likutey Halachot that the Tzadik wants only one thing,

what does he want...

To bring the entire world closer to Hashem! He has no other will.

He does not want any money, gold or honor or anything else,

Rather the Tzadik wants one thing

that we should make all the efforts that we can

Since we want to fulfill his will which makes is a vessel to the Tzadik.

And like Rav Dessler says, this is what we get judged for on Rosh Hashana

we don't get judged for our actions.

Because as we saw if we would get judged according to our actions we will not withstand the judgment.

So we get judged on how much we merit to serve and become a vessel to the Tzadik

To explain this a little

what is considered serving the Tzadik,

it means simply as we said, to help someone means to fulfill the will of that person

And Rabbi Nachman which is the Tzadik that revealed to us that he is the Tzadik which fixes the souls untill the coming of Mashiach

and this is the concept called "The keeper of the field"

And (Rabenu said) "My fire will burn untill the coming of Mashiach''

"from me until Mashiach there will not be anything new"

That the meaning is that all the Torah and advice and the light that Rabbi Nachman revealed in the world

through this light the souls of Am Yisrael will merit to the personal and general redemption.

And Rabenu say in Likutey Moharan second half lesson 7

the Tzadik wants only one thing,

all he wants is to bring Am Yisrael closer to Hashem

that ever single Jew should merit to come close to Hashem.

And just to understand how hard this is in our days

The Germara tells us

That one time Rabbi Yochanan ben Zakai saw the daughter of Aba Guryon

who was one of the wealthiest person in Am Yisrael at the time of the second temple

It says that he had enough gold and silver to feed the entire nation of Israel

and after the destruction at the time of the siege there was no food.

One day Rabbi Yochanan saw the daughter Aba Guryon collecting stalks of barley

she did not have any food to eat so she went and collected barley from the ground.

Then an animal passed by her and she kept collecting barley from beneath the impure animal.

Where ever the animal went she followed and collected the barley.

So on this Rabbi Yochanan ben Zakai said,

Woe is to us to Israel, that when we go down we need to go beneath a defiled animal.

And this has a very deep meaning, it is not just a simple story.

The Gemara didn't just tell us a simple story.

There is a very deep hint to the time before the redemption that we will go down and under the legs of the defiled animal.

What is the defiled animal?

This animal is considered, the depths of lusts & desires of this world.

It is the countless curtains that we have today to merit a small point in holiness.

It is all the desires of this world. A person goes into the street and we dont even need to mention anything

every one knows what goes on there.

This is what is considered that our generation collects barley under the feet of the defiled animal.

That women that Rabbi Yochanan saw is the aspect of the Shecina,

it is the secret of the souls of Am Yisrael that go down to collect barley under the feet of an impure animal at the footsteps. of Mashiach

So we go down to such great concealments

and they cause us to feel that this world more real and true

where we all feel the desires such as extra eating and drinking, pursuit of money, lust, Honor and arrogance

as if that is the true reality that we are all so tied to so badly tied down to it with countless loads on our backs.

And the entire essence and purpose of the Tzadik is to reveal

the spirituality and holiness, To reveal that it is all an illusion, that there is Hashem here and this is all for a test and to create free will.

How difficult it is to take us out from beneath the feet of this animal.

We see how great of a test it is to awaken us to see that really this is all Hashem and it is all just a test in the great concealment.

This is what Rabenu says in part 2 Lesson 7,

That the whole purpose of the Tzadik is just to show this to each and every Jew

and there is not one Jew that the Tzadik gives up on, No such thing..

The Tzadik is the messenger of Hashem and Hashem will not give up on even one Jewish soul.

every Jewish soul needs to get the true light revealed.

So the entire Torah, advice and light that Rabenu revealed in the world

was mainly to shine to our generation that is placed beneath the feet of the impure animal collecting barley

an animal's food, we search through the countless concealments a spark of godliness, somehow to get close to Hashem.

Really we have to know that our generation is completely innocent.

Just standing here and each one from their place to scream to Hashem, "Look at where i am"

Save me from this place that i am in.

And Rabenu's whole purpose is to shine that light and point

that no matter where we are, we should not forget what our purpose is and that there is whole different reality.

A person has no walk through the streets with countless of all sorts of images jumping at at him right and left from above and under.

A very special Jew form Ana''sh told me that a few years ago he decides to really guard his eyes.

Meaning he would always walk with his head looking at the ground.

He tells me that after three days of doing this and not daring to look up.

But then he says there was a bad picture laying on the sidewalk out of no where...

I said how can one guard his eyes in this generation!

So we need to know that we are going through a situation where we are under the legs of a defiled animal.

And the essence of the Tzadik is to shine the light of Hashem, the light of the Emunah in this place that we are in, the concealment.

Says Rabbi Natan in Likutey Halachot

That this is called serving the Tzadik.

Serving the Tazdik is first of all that a person fights to get our of this place to get closer to Hashem

This is the first aspect and understanding of of serving the Tazdik.

and the second aspect is, how much we are able to shine this light to every single Jew...

How do we shine this to others?

The first advice and important point in doing so is to pray for Am Yisrael.

Simply when a person who prays for his own needs should not forget to pray for Am Yisrael.

Because we know that Hashem is not going to give up on any Jew

We want redemption and it depends on every one that awakens.

So the first advice to help our fellow Jews is to pray for Am Yisrael.

And the second thing is

How much each of is able according to their own ability in there own place with their own vessels

to shine the light of Rabenu onward to other Jewish souls.

Each person and his ability..

These are in essence the three points that we serve the Tzadik.

The 1st is that a person tries to get himself out from under the legs of the animal.

Strengthening in Emunah to get closer to Hashem, to escape the illusions of this world.

These illusions are very strong and before the redemption they will always get stronger.

Since the secret of redemption is that even though we are under the feet of the animal we will not give up and keep screaming to Hashem to save us.

So that was the first advice.

The second advice and point is

that we remember our fellow Jews since it is forbidden to focus on ourselves alone.

A person that stays alone for him self so even though he wants Heaven and to serve Hashem he is still not allowed to thin only of himself.

To only think of one's personal Heaven and reward.

In spirituality it is almost a sin to only think of yourself.

So w we need to pray for others and also what ever we can do for them we should.

This Rabbi Natan says is considered serving the Tzadik and becoming a vessel to the Tzadik.

And all which we have spoken now - it is important to do it with observation and understanding and connecting with the Tzadik.

As we know and learnt in the past and is brought down in our holy books

that the Soul of the Tzadik walks with us and is always with us he does not leave us for a single moment.

The Tzadik is much more alive after his passing. "Tzadikim in their death are called alive" they are more alive after they pass then in their life.

And as we mention one of the great Rabbis, Rebbe Akiva Eigar says,

That if a Tzadik would come down to this world he can be except us in the Mitzvot. (include us in the mitzvah he will perform)

There are groups of prayer in Uman that say that if Rabenu would come and blow the Shofar it would exempt them in the Mitzvah

they would go to the groups of prayer in the streets to be exempt in the Mitzvah...

So we can rely on Rabbi Akiva Eiger who says that of the soul of the Tzadik comes to this world he can exempt us in the Mitzvah.

This is what is called "Tzadikim in their death are considered alive"

So the moment we connect our selves with the Tzadik

and we try to fulfill his will, and we must always remember what Rabenu wants from us

what does the Tzadik want from us

To search for all the ways and try with effort to rise from that place which is called beneath the feet of the impure animal.

That we should not forget and give up that we can rise form this place

Because when a person sees what happens to him and what he's going through

so he says there is no way i can get out of here.

From a certain aspect this is true that in your own strength cannot get out, but we have to believe that with the strength of the Tzadik we can escape.

And this is the point that Rav Dessler is saying

We do not get judged on our actions on Rosh Hashana

so what do we get judged for?

How much we connect to the Tzadik and become vessels to serve the Tzadik. That's our judgment.

How to Get Emotional fitness- Inspired by Anthony Robbins and The Breakthrough Experience - Duration: 4:44.

hi my name is Elham from the secret of

glory and I'm going to talk to you about

emotional fitness I posted a video a

while back about how I was inspired by

anthony robbins talk about emotional

fitness i was really hooked to this idea

and I did a good research about it

and i reflected everything I found out

in my own life and on people's life

that were very close to me and I realized

that those who were successful in life

and were relatively happy in life had

somehow challenged in life and therefore

they had become emotionally fit

emotionally and psychologically fit it's

like physical fitness the more you get

your muscles challenged the more you

challenge your muscles the more you

challenge your body the stronger you get

and therefore you'll feel more

confident and you look better and

now my findings I think there are three

most important factors that can lead

into emotional fitness now I am going to look at

my notes at times so I apologize if I keep

looking down ... number one: we need to

understand that there's always a balance

in life there is a very good book on

this subject by Dr. John De Martini and

it's called as The Breakthrough Experience

and the subject is everything in this

universe is in balance and should stay

in balance and it's always been in balance

and it will always be in balance so

a lot of this is Quantum Physics Law

and the meaning for us is

you can't have a challenging

period without having a rewarding

period. That's it! So ...

the good thing about it is if you are

experiencing a difficult time this is

not going to be forever .You need to

understand that if you stay calm and if

you can manage this situation

even with a help of somebody

even asking for help...the situation will

pass and you will get your reward .

And obviously its vice a versa

So the book is very good read and I definitely suggest

you all read it.. The breakthrough Experience..

So number two :

which i think is a really really

important.. is to find out what you're

truly passionate about.. what is it that

you really like to do in life ...

What inspires you from within and

Why is it important to find out what inspires you

from within to get emotionally fit... it is

important because it's going to give you

confidence ..You will be confident while

you're doing what you really like to do..

There are questions that you can ask

yourself to find out what exactly

inspires you .. I will definitely post

a video on this and what I definitely

suggest is to invest in yourself and

invest in your time and definitely find

out ...and pause

pause in your life in whatever you doing and

find out what exactly you would like

to do in your life.. The questions you can ask

yourself are ...what is it that a you think

about most of the time ?...

What is it that you are spending your money on? and

What do you usually talk about ?

There are many more questions like these and as i said

i will definitely post a video on this basis

later ..Now the third step:

I think is very important is to face your fears

list all your fears and

definitely face them and never ignore

them ..fears are good fears and why are

they good for getting emotionally fitness?

Because you will be challenged and where

you are challenged you will get fit that's

where the fitness is all about ..You need to be

challenged physically and emotionally... so

definitely face your fears if you're

feeling vulnerable if you're feeling

wire..d obviously get support but this

uncertainty and fear is good because

that as I said that's where you're going

to get challenged

and obviously by support and by time you

can overcome those fears but the reward is

that you will get emotional fit

So for now bye and all the very best

Anatomy of a Dance: Andrew Veyette on EVERYWHERE WE GO - Duration: 2:25.

- My name is Andrew Veyette,

and here I'm dancing a principal role

in Justin Peck's ballet, "Everywhere We Go."

[dramatic orchestral music]

I dance with Sterling Hyltin in this,

and I've never danced the part with anybody else,

and it's kind of hard for me

to imagine doing it with anybody else.

I always love throwing Sterling as high as I can,

and she seems to go another foot higher in shows

than she does in rehearsals.

Once you're on stage, you have

that little bit of extra adrenaline from the music

and the audience and everything.

She just smiles

like it's not scary to be 15 feet in the air.

[energetic orchestral music]

When I'm running upstage right there,

Justin really wanted that to be kind of cartoonish

and almost Flintstones' style

where I really picked my knees up too much.

In rehearsal, it's really hard to convince myself

to use the amount of energy it would take to run like that.

But in the performance, it just seems to

kind of come out a little bit second nature.

Running into this block,

we basically have to jump half a panel up

into a bent over B-plus,

which is just not easy to do,

and it's the only way to get there on time.

[dramatic orchestral music]

This is one of my favorite pieces

of choreography in the whole ballet.

To me, it looks like a huge machine

with pistons going off all over the place.

[sprightly orchestral music]

Everything in his ballets seem to involve

everybody all the time, you know,

even the principals are always working

with the soloists and the corps

and everybody's in it together to create this environment.

And this is probably one of the best examples of that.

I miss, a lot of times,

what it was like to be younger in the corps

and have that sense of community.

I remember when he was starting to choreograph this section,

he had started with the corps,

and I had just finished the movement before,

and I was kind of dead and exhausted on the ground,

and he goes, "Oh, yeah, by the way,

you're gonna be in this one too."

And I looked at him like,

"You're just a mean-spirited person."

But I honestly couldn't have been happier.

I can't imagine doing this ballet

without being a part of this section.

It really became probably my favorite part.

[playful orchestral music]
