Welcome to if Video posted on the strange and unusual

Video posted twice a week hit that subscribe button to stay to date.

There is no escaping it death comes to us all, well for the moment any hows we haven't

quiet cracked immortality yet, and when we die it's time to deal with the remaining

body.

Most funeral practices are focused on the disposal of a corpse in the most respectful

manner relative to the culture the deceased was from.

But what if you didn't want your body destroyed what if you wanted it to go on long after

your passing?

Here are some options.

First let's go with an all-natural method.

Fossilization We have all seen the great reconstructions

of dinosaurs, their bones and the natural preservation of their skeletal likeness in

rock surviving million years.

Could we too become exhibit class fossil?

If we look at all life that has existed on the planet much of it has not been preserved

in this way, only 10th of 1 % of all species that have ever lived managed to become fossils.

Bill Bryson recently published his book "A Short History of Nearly Everything,"

In which he states that out of the 320 million people in the US today only a small number

of bones would manage the miracle of fossilization.

He thinks that as little as 60 bones or less only 25% of a human skeleton would become

fossilized.

But this being said if you fancy becoming a fossil you can improve your chances.

Have your body buried deep and quickly, this is important as you need to be buried under

good sediment and then altered physically and chemically deep underground to become

a fossil.

You need to be deep enough to not be in the "ta/pho/nom/ically active zone" The zone

where your body is at risk of being exhumed or eaten and scattered by scavengers, or exposed

to the elements for too long.

And you don't want them to be bored into or shifted around by burrowing animals.

Also choose a good soil type.

If you can, try to be buried in a mud slide or a volcanic eruption as these natural disasters

can really help preserve your body.

Near Water is also a good location The best fossils come out of lakes and river

systems.

They provide an anoxic' environment: one very low in oxygen, where animals and microorganisms

that would digest and disturb your remains can't survive.

Just make sure that sediment is rapidly accumulating as to bury your body rapidly.

Keep watching for our tip on how your bones can be found.

And talking of covering the body you may want to avoid coffins.

They can block the minerals you really want to seep into your bones, replacing them with

harder mineral substances.

This is the process of 'permineralisation', this is what creates a lasting fossil

This perminralisation also has a better chance of happening in a mineral rich water flow,

this water needs to flow through the bone and fortify them with things like iron and

calcium.

If you looking for the best spot, try to have your body buried in an area with high levels

of calcite, a form of calcium carbonate which is perfect for preserving bone.

Now you have your fossilization plan in place try to remember the larger natural forces

too, don't be buried on fault lines or in areas of high tectonic activity.

For our tip!

If you keep something with you that could mark you location, something that will be

preserved with your bones but have a greater potential of being discovered.

Think plastic and alloys, these materials aren't biodegradable and would be easier

to spot than fossil you.

If this sounds like leaving too much to chance you could go the way of a man made fossil

or piece of art depending on how you look at it.

As we just mentioned plastics are good medium of preservation as they are not biodegradable

and thus will be around for millions of years.

So let's make our body plastic!

Plastination This is the process of a body being taken

after death and turned into a mannequin of sorts.

Firstly your body will need to be filled with chemicals such as Formaldehyde, this kills

bacteria and aids in the preservation of the body.

The Skin, fatty and connective tissues need to be removed, this dissection can take between

500 to 1,000 hours.

Then the process of plastination can begin.

The water and soluble fats are dissolved from the body in a bath of acetone.

Then liquid polymer, silicone rubber, polyester or epoxy resin are used to cover the body,

a vacuum is then created to make the acetone boil and vaporize.

This draws the liquid polymer into the body, the polymer can then penetrate each and every

last cell.

At this point your body is still flexible so don't forget to leave instruction as

to how you would like to pose for the few thousand years.

When you have been bent and twisted into the correct position a mired of wires, needles,

clamps, and foam blocks will hold you in place as you harden over the coming weeks and months.

You are almost there, just one final step to keep your carcass around for millennia.

Curing or hardening occurs when heat or gas is used to harden the body and protect the

plastinate from decaying.

Once you are hard you can be put on display for the world to see or used as a coat rack?

Whatever your last will testament instructed?

Would you choose to have your body preserved or is the idea just too macabre?

Can you think of any other ways to preserve the body long after death, if you can let

me know ion the comments below.

BIGNOKNOW: A Relapse Story We can ALL Learn From - Duration: 14:32.

okay a moment of honesty I don't think I'm gonna post this but I'm losing my

battle to control my drinking it's like essentially all I think about

these days what is up everybody this is Chris from the rewired soul where we

talk about the problem by focus on the solution and today I'm doing something a

little bit different so I want to preface this by saying I started my

channel originally to just help as many people as possible with mental health

issues as well as addiction issues I myself have been clean and sober since

June 23rd 2012 and my mission is just to help as many people as possible so that

clip you just saw was from another youtuber named big no-no his name is

Noah and just to give you a little bit of background I stumble across his

channel when I first got into YouTube I was doing research I do a lot of

research whenever I get into anything and I want to see if there was anybody

else on YouTube who was talking about sobriety and recovery and things like

that and the videos that came across on his channel we're talking about sobriety

okay so in that clip obviously he's not doing well alright so in this video I

wanted to talk about the issues he's having but first and foremost I just

want to make it very clear like this is not a malicious video in any way in any

way at all I have two goals with this video two goals the first one is to help

you out I want to help you see what happens hopefully you can learn from it

and hopefully you can avoid some mistakes second goal Noah if you see

this video I've shot you a DM on Instagram I'm already feel free to reach

out if I can help in any way okay so like I said this video is not meant to

be malicious in any way I got a preface it with that because my

style of helping people who are struggling with addiction you get a lot

of tough love alright because there's a very thin line

between supporting somebody and enabling somebody so we have to be honest we have

to be blunt and we have to be truthful like we have to explain what the actual

issues are so hopefully we can get through that

thickness of the delusion that addiction causes okay

so in this video I've set it up okay with various clips to kind of show you

the progression so like I said when I found big no-nose channel I saw a lot of

stuff about recovery but the first video I saw from him that was the newest video

came from July 6 2017 and here's a clip from and I was this person and now I'm

someone else different I'm different now someone who parties with his buddies on

the weekends and I'm someone who doesn't actively struggle with depression and

anxiety anymore okay so in this step this is a very short clip just let you

know that is a 20-something minute long video there's a very short clip I just

wanted to give you some context so as soon as I saw that after I had already

subscribed to him I quickly hit the unsubscribe button because I have seen

this story play out so many times alright so in this video in the in the

overall video he talks about struggles with depression and where his life's

been at and whether or not he's gonna continue on YouTube and what his goals

are and what he wants to achieve and all sorts of stuff okay but he admits that

he's been drinking again but it's just partying he just goes out with his

friends and everything's cool and like I said I have seen this story play out far

far far too many times and I just knew that this was heading towards the

disaster I was like this is not going to end well

alright and what breaks my heart is that I've looked at have watched a bunch of

Noah's other videos and this is a man who has been clean for over a year in

the past and I won't go too far into it but he clearly has worked a program

before he speaks the lingo he's good about keeping the anonymity of the

program if you will but he understands the program okay and that's why it

breaks my heart but I see this happening I'm like this is gonna go somewhere very

very all right so this next clip okay now

we're gonna start getting into the progression of how this actually goes

all right so this next clip comes from about two months later no actually the

next month on August 14th check it out it's definitely an intense thing to say

hey I think I'm an alcoholic who's trying to control his drinking it just

sounds so stupid it's like the most moronic thing to say out loud was I

happy or sober no have I overall been happier since I got back out in the

world as a drinker yes it seems like I'm an alcoholic

I'm just not a far gone alcoholic I'm not like an extreme alcoholic but this

is something I want to do and if I can learn to control my drinking and I can

find peace with it then that's great and if I can't to make God give me the

courage to admit it and just move on to the next things I have dreams I have

goals I have responsibilities I have passions I've hobbies got things that

matter a lot more than drinking okay so this is a video titled

am I still an alcoholic now the first mistake you made Noah was you looked up

the definition of alcoholism from Wikipedia

I don't know how this 2018 and people are still looking at Wikipedia Wikipedia

is not a credible source I can go in and edit whatever I want and it's not too

hard it's like people play pranks on Wikipedia all the time so yes there is

some good information on Wikipedia not a credible source all right so by the way

stay tuned to the end of this video because I am going to give you guys

something pretty cool alright so that is first off that is a bad source of

information but this video this next video he made it just hurt it hurt me so

bad because you can see that he's admitting he's an alcoholic but he's

trying to justify and rationalize what he's doing yeah I am an alcoholic but if

this were on a spectrum I'm not a bad alcoholic

I'm the okay alcoholic I'm one who isn't too far gone but like he says at the end

is that he just hopes he hopes that he's able to get the help he needs if this is

and here's something that I teach at my rehab constantly all the time of

every day I say I hope my only hope for each person who I am trying to teach how

to live a life of sobriety is that they don't need to go back and do more

research okay I hope that they understand that they are biologically

different there is something wrong with the way that their brain processes

dopamine where you cannot turn an abnormal drinker into a normal drinker

science has not discovered a way to do that yet but Noah mentions in this video

that this is something that he's trying to do and if you're watching this you

might know this quote it says the great obsession okay the great obsession of

every alcoholic is to somehow someway drink like other people alright I might

have screwed up that quote but you get what I'm saying that is our obsession we

keep going back that is the cause of so many relapses we don't want to admit

that we are different than other people okay they're the same book that I'm

referencing it says nobody nobody likes to admit that they are different than

other people but this is something that we have to do an analogy I give all the

time is that my dad has diabetes and it has almost killed him before if my dad

does not fully surrender to the fact that he is a diabetic it will kill him

it's the same thing with an addiction to drugs or alcohol if we don't admit if we

don't understand if we don't concede to the fact not the opinion but the fact

that we are truly an alcoholic or an addict it can potentially kill us okay

now it hurts because I see that Noah says that since he's been drinking again

he's he's not as depressed he's having fun again something that most addicts

and alcoholics know is that originally the drugs in the alcohol they start as

the solution to all of our problems but eventually they become the main source

of all of our problems so while you're watching with these cliffs is the steady

progress of addiction all right so this last set

of Clips I'm gonna show you is from his most recent video which was recorded on

January 12 of this year okay a moment of honesty I don't think I'm gonna post

this but I'm losing my battle to control my drinking

it's like essentially all I think about these days

am I gonna drink tonight what time will I start drinking what time to have to

get up tomorrow how can I make it seem like I'm not drinking that much I had

like this health scare stop drinking cuz my health scare moment

I thought was okay started drinking heavy again we had like a

gastrointestinal thing stomach is hurting

stop drinking sounds like scared from my body in my life moment I started to feel

a little bit better started heavily drinking again even drinking where I

don't want to drink it's happening literally just drinking I don't even

wanna drink and there you have it okay that's only about a five minute video

and by the way I'll link to all the full videos below so you know I you don't you

don't think I'm taking anything out of context or chopping it up funny but now

he's at a place we call these things yes okay so when there's other videos he's

talking about like I saw off control medical issues my life is still

manageable and all these things we call those things yes addiction is a

progressive disease okay so people who relapse the the lie that they tell

themselves is like okay okay I still got it under control so that all

everything's gonna be fine but it progresses to a place where all

the things that we said haven't happened they haven't happened yet so his most

recent video in January that he's starting to experience the yet he's

having medical issues he can't stop he's drinking when he

doesn't want to drink so that's why I say like I really try to beat it into my

clients heads but you need to figure this out not fortunately fortunately for

Noah its alcohol but don't get it twisted thousands upon thousands of

people die each year from alcohol ISM but if you're

somebody who's an opiate and it like I was like this is killing people over a

hundred people a day or dying from this that's why it's so important to

understand that this is something that that that is wrong with me okay

and it's not necessarily wrong it's it's like an allergy you know what I mean

there's nothing wrong with being having an abnormal reaction to alcohol or drugs

it's just something we have to accept imagine somebody with a peanut allergy

who the like just think about the insanity real quick if somebody with a

peanut allergy and then them just every time they go to the store they're like

you know what I'm going to eat peanuts like a normal person this time this time

it's gonna be different this time I'm not gonna have an allergic reaction it's

gonna be okay right you would look at that person like they were nuts

but for some reason not some reason there's a lot of neurobiological

explanations for this of why we've justified that it's gonna be different

this time with alcohol or drugs so unfortunately Noah is back in the

situation that he started in you know what I mean and I really hope I really

hope that he gets some help you know and I'm always here I'm always here know if

you see this reply to my idea behind Instagram you know what I mean

I'm I'm here to help people but I really hope you all can learn lessons from this

because my fear here's my fear my fear is that people who have followed Noah

and washed his relapse they might have thought that they can do the same same

thing you know what I mean that's my fear that's my work

so like I said at the end of this video I'm gonna provide you with something if

you head over to if the rewired socom if you stuck with me this whole time go on

over to the rewired SOCOM I have an addiction course out there usually it's

a hundred dollars I just want to help people if you use the coupon code it's

free I TS F REE I've put it right here for

you right you can go take my addiction course for free you'll begin to

understand why you cannot turn an abnormal drinker or a drug addict into a

regular user because I explained the brain science behind it

alright and I don't care like I'm not here to become rich off this stuff so if

you don't think it'll help you and you think it'll help somebody else go give

that coupon code to all your friends all your family members educate people about

addiction so we can hopefully prevent more relapses in the future alright so

anyways I hope this video helps some of you out and if you want to see the

progression like I said you can check out NOAA's full videos down here ok but

anyways if any of you have experience with relapse if any of you can relate to

what know has been going through go ahead and leave your comments down below

ok but anyways if you like this video please give it a thumbs up and if you're

new here make sure you click the subscribe button I'm always making

videos about addiction recovery mental health and all that good stuff you want

to check out some other videos on my channel click the tap on one of those

thumbnails right there alright but everybody stay well go out love each

other help each other and this will be a much better place I'll see you next time

Arsenal can shock Man City in Carabao Cup final thanks to one key factor ● News Now ● #AFC - Duration: 1:56.

ARSENAL can use their underdog advantage to beat Manchester City on Sunday.

That's according to former Liverpool midfielder Jamie Redknapp.

The two sides face off at Wembley for this season's first trophy in the Carabao Cup

final.

Pep Guardiola's side are hot favourites going into the clash,

despite surrendering their quadruple hopes in a shock FA Cup defeat to League One outfit

Wigan this week.

Arsenal suffered embarrassment of their own as they lost 2-1 at home to Swedish minnows

Ostersunds in the Europa League,

limping through to the last 16 thanks to a strong first leg.

The Gunners are currently sixth in the Premier League and are in danger of missing out on

Champions League football for the second season running.

Arsene Wenger will be targeting cup success to rescue his campaign and Redknapp believes

they can use their situation to hurt City.

"It may sound strange but I actually think Arsenal's defeat to Ostersunds could work

to their advantage at Wembley on Sunday," he told Sky Sports.

"Everyone expects them to get beaten easily by Manchester City after that, but this Arsenal

side have a habit of producing performances when you least expect it.

"It's like last season when they beat City and Chelsea on their way to winning the FA

Cup.

What Can We Hook Up To Our Power Supply On Our Model Railroad - Duration: 12:40.

if you converted your computer power supply like this for your layout or your

workbench you're gonna want to see this or if you have one of those too so let's

see what this is all about I'm Tom Kvichak and this is Toms Trains and Things

this channel was created to help other modelers who are in need of guidance in

pursuing their dream of building a model railroad and some time ago we talked

about taking one of these things apart and taking all the plugs off here and

dividing all these wires up into the voltages and using it as a power supply

on our model railroad or on our workbench and we also talked about this

one right here which gives you a constant voltage but only one voltage

you can set the current on it also well what can we use it for well that's what

I'm gonna show you in this video right here then right after this if you would

like to see more videos like this on Toms Trains and Things about model

railroading about beginners about electronics about just about anything go

ahead and hit that subscribe button and while you're at it ding that Bell so you

can be notified whenever I have a new video coming out so let's get started

with this thing right here and see what we could do with these power supplies

that we have where we're gonna put it on our model railroad or what we're gonna

do with it on the workbench the first thing you want to take note of before

you do anything is check the data plate on your power supply now your power

supply may be different than mine mine's a 305 watt and it was manufactured for

Dell although all power supplies are made in the same place now this one here

is 5 volt is 22 amps max 12 volt is 18 amps max minus 12 volt is one amp max

3.3 volt is 17 amp max now there's two rails in this one a low voltage rail and

a high voltage rail so the low voltage rails 3.3 volt and 5 volt

and it says do not exceed 150 watts in there and I'll show you how to figure

that out and the 12 volt A and 12 volt B rails not to exceed 264 watts okay so

that's one thing that you have to take into consideration if you're using a lot

of the three volt and the 5 volt ones you can't exceed 150 watts on there and

those two voltages but your power supply may be different so that's why you have

to check the data plate on it that's what you have to take a look at and you

could run many things on your layout and on your workbench now this one here it

doesn't have to be this specific brand this one goes anywhere from 0 to 30

volts at 5 amps now they make them up to 10 amps also but the one that I have is

5 amps and I'll show you what we could use on this one also figuring out the

maximum wattage on your power supply is a piece of cake or should I say a piece

of pie on my example for the Dell we had 150 watts maximum for three and a half

three point three and five volts so with this formula here P equal I times E

which is pi we could transpose that and we want to figure out current so the

current which is I would be equal to P over e so we put 150 over three point

three and that comes out to 45 and a half amps now you're not going to be

using that many amps on there now that is a lot of amps now figuring out for 5

volts is 150 over five which is 30 amps now if you put those two together you

can't exceed the what the 450 watts so somewhere in there the maximum for the 5

volt and the maximum for the 3.3 volt is far below what the maximum is if you

would use it by itself on the 3.3 it said the maximum amperage on there

was 17 amps you're not gonna be using 150 watts on there because 150 watts is

all the way up to forty five and a half amps twice that so don't even worry

about it you've got plenty of power on here now for the 12 volts you have 264

Watts divide that by 12 and that comes out to 22 amps and the maximum on the 12

volt was 18 amps and if you wanted to use the the minus 12 honor that was the

maximum on one amp so you could combine the the want the minus 12 and the plus

12 to get 24 volts now there are some items that you can use 24 volts on but

it's only one am and what I'm gonna tell you right now is these Woodland Scenic's

Just Plug you could run that off of the 24 volts because that is it they want to

sell you a wall wart for $20 which is 300 milliamps at 24 volts DC and that is

plenty of power on that you got one amp that's more than the 300 milliamps that

you need for running this right here that just plugs so that's one thing that

you could use on there another item that you could use if you're using digit ax

that D s 64 the DF 64 is anywhere from 12 to 14 volts so you could use you

could tap in on the 12 volt one for the D S 64 now a lot of the other items for

digit tracks come with a power supply the ps4 Tina and that is 14 volts DC PM

42 BDL 168 PR4 all of those come with a wall wart but if that wall word

ever goes bad boom you could use a 12 volt off of

there now I am going to show you how to use a voltage divider say you want to

use nine volts off of that 12 volts or say off of the 24 volts you want to drop

that down to 16 volts or 15 volts to replace one of the ps4 teens I'm going

to show you how to do a simple voltage-divider and all it requires is

two resistors and I'll bring the diagram right up here and I'll show you how to

calculate that now if you have any other type of DCC equipment most of those come

with the power supply but if you want to use a command station a lot of command

stations don't come with power supplies so this thing right here is a good

candidate for that for up to five amps now they do make like I said they do

make them up to ten amps so you're covered on here this goes up to thirty

volts you could plot you you could Dow in

whatever voltage you want on there you could also doubt in the maximum amperage

that you want to limit this to so this is a good source for those command

stations for your DCC now for all the accessories that you're using like the

tortoise switch machine 12 volts will do it everything circuit ron has runs from

12 to 18 volts except for the Tortoise Switch Machine which is 12 volts now you

could use that power supply here for anything that's circuit Ron now for DCC

concepts the cobalt switch machine that's 9 to 12 volt DC for DCC

specialties everything on that runs off of your track power so you don't have to

worry about anything on there but let's talk about that voltage divider on that

voltage divider right there you have two resistors r1 and r2 and then you tap off

the center and you can also do this with a potentiometer

but anyway r1 and r2 say you have 12 volts over here and you want to bring

the output to 9 volts you want r1 now you could change the value of this R 1

would be 1 K and r2 would be 3 K and that would bring your output

down to nine volts pretty simple and here's the formula for it

piece of cake so if you want to bring your voltage down to another voltage off

of that 12 volt 9 volt you could do it if you want to bring it down to 6 volts

you could do it to 6 volts if you if you're using the 24 volts and you want

to bring it down to 15 volts or 14 volts you could do this also on there where

did we get the term watt W ATT well we got that from James Watt he was an

18th century mechanical engineer he also made improvements to the steam

engine even James Watt who we think of in electrical terms had a lot to do with

the steam engine that we use on the locomotives today every accessory that

you use on your model railroad if it's powered with DC you could use this power

supply here from the computer or you could use this power supply right here

instead of a wall wart if it if you have something that requires a wall or you

could use that power supply on it and you could adjust the voltage on it to

match whatever voltage you need as long as it's DC LEDs can be powered at 3.3

volts at 5 volts at 12 volts there's even some that are 24 volts

like the woodland scene you just plug coming up in some videos later on we're

going to be doing things on an Arduino and right here this is 9 volts on the

USB USB is typically 5 volts and they also have pins on the side for 3.3 volts

and 5 volts right over here now I have one that I bought about four years ago

it was manufactured by make instead of the 18 mega 3:28 chip that's normally in

there it's got an SMD chip in there similar to that and in some future

videos these right here are ATmega3:28 for

the Arduino and I'm going to show you how to make your own Arduino

board keep an eye out for that that's coming up in March because I just got

all the stuff here from Sparkfun that I've been waiting for for a couple of

weeks I got everything in this little red box here that we need to make our

own arduino's for our projects it we're gonna do it with this and we're gonna

make our own one and do it with that so we could store it anywhere we want on

our layout in a smaller package to this now granted you could get them though

Arduino minis and do the same thing but with this it only cost about five

dollars to make an Arduino so and it's more fun to alright keep an eye out for

the Arduino projects coming up in March we got a resistance substitution box so

we could do some projects with the Arduino and other electrical projects on

our railroad so we'll see ya

Outemu Switches vs Cherry MX Switches - Can You Hear the Difference? - Duration: 5:38.

What's going on everyone Mitesh here, and today I have with me these two

keyboards right here so this one in the white on the left is the Drevo Gramr

keyboard and I did a full review of this one before and I'll link it in the cards

in description if you guys are interested in that one and this one on

the right right here is the Cooler Master Masterkeys Pro s keyboard that I

just got to replace this Drevo Gramr keyboard. So for those of you who watch

my Drevo Gramr review you might be wondering why because I really praised

this one I thought it was a great keyboard for the price it had a good

typing experience so why did I feel the need to spend money - extra money - and get

this one right here well the short answer to this is the fact that I've

been going back and forth between this keyboard right here which has Outemu

Brown switches and I real cherry MX keyboard at my work so that one was too

large for me to keep on this desktop up here and I've been using it at work and

after about a week or so of that I realized that there's this imperceptible

difference between the Outemu brown switches and the Cherry MX brown

switches that I just started to pick up on and I just really preferred the

Cherry MX versions of it so in this video I want to try to prove to you guys

and myself and my wife what the real difference is and the one of the ways

that can actually show you guys is the sound difference so I can't have you all

come over here and try to these keyboards out for yourself so I'm gonna

let you guys try to hear the difference between the two keyboards so for those

of you who are considering it you guys can actually hear it out so I'm gonna be

using this blue Yeti microphone being a typing test and you know what let's just

go ahead and get started with it

okay so I've got the microphone in place got

typing test up and first up we have the Drevo Gramr Keyboard so

let's go ahead and start this alright do this

okay and now I've got the cooler master keyboard in and just a side note it's

got a removal keyboard it's got detachable keyboard so you can just

unplug the cable and you've gotta and that is actually really nice benefit to

have especially if you're someone who wants to connect your keyboard to

multiple devices the fact that you're gonna unplug it and plug it back in it's

kind of Awesome alright so that typing test back up let me go ahead and restart

it since I did not do that already and here we go

okay so there you guys go that's the comparison in sound at least between

these two keyboards now I heard it back and to be honest I really couldn't tell

the difference in sound in real life I can kind of tell but it may also have to

do with how this switches feel and I have to say the Cherry MX witches are

just a tad smoother than the Outemu brown switches are so for me it's worth

it to get the keyboard because like I said I have a Cherry MX brown switches

at work and when I came home and I had to use this one it just didn't feel as

good and I know that's very subjective but for me I think it was worth it to

get this one but unless you're someone like me who's gonna be in a situation

where you're going back and forth between the two different switches I

would tell you to save the money so this one just cost $40 for this Drevo Gramr

keyboard and the Coolermaster one is a hundred and twenty dollars now with that

you're getting a little bit better features like I said you it's got the

detachable cable it's got RGB lighting I know some of you are gonna be really

excited for that and it's got PBT key caps which are generally considered

superior to the ABS key caps that are on here I don't want to get into a whole

thing I don't know that much about it but I know that key caps on this sound a

little bit better than they do on here but you can always replace these anyway

so if you can't hear the difference between the sounds how do we tell you to

go ahead and spend them four dollars on getting the Drevo Gramr instead

but if you're interested in this one I'm gonna have links to both of these down

in the description but that's pretty much all I have for you guys in this one

I hope you guys enjoyed it if you did don't forget to hit that like button and

if you guys aren't subscribed already go ahead and hit that subscribe button and

I'll catch you guys the next one bye

C: But I have a little saying. I'm quite proud of this. R Yes?

C: Pin it and bin it! R: Pin it and bin it. Pin it? Meaning? C: Pinterest!

R: Ah! C: I love Pinterest so normally-

I haven't have time to do this but I would go through this

anything that I like, I'd put on my Pinterest board.

It's almost like buying it:

I don't need to buy it once I've pinned it! R: That's great!

So, is that an action to take? C: Yeah. And that's something I quite enjoy doing.

So I've got a few of those I need to go through.

WHY RUSSIAN ADMIRAL GORSHKOV CLASS FRIGATES CAN EVEN TAKE OUT MUCH BIGGER DESTROYERS OF RIVALS? - Duration: 8:13.

The Admiral Gorshkov, lead ship of the new Project 22350 series of frigates, will be commissioned

in August, with Admiral-series vessels expected to become the backbone of the Russian Navy's

ocean-going presence over the next decades.

The Admiral Gorshkov began its construction at Russia's Severnaya Verf shipyard in St.

Petersburg all the way back in 2006.

At that time, it was the first large surface vessel to begin construction since the collapse

of the Soviet Union, an event which temporarily threw Russian shipbuilders and the military

industry as a whole into disarray.

Project 22350 gave Russian shipbuilders the challenging task of developing a fundamentally

new frigate, fitted with the latest 21st century technologies, many of them never used by the

Navy before.

In this video, Defense Updates analyzes WHY RUSSIAN ADMIRAL GORSHKOV CLASS FRIGATES CAN

EVEN TAKE OUT MUCH BIGGER DESTROYERS OF RIVALS?

Project 22350 is the successor of the Krivak class.

Unlike their Soviet-era predecessors the new ships are designed to perform multiple roles.

Military observers Andrei Kotz and Viktor Murakhovsky outline what capabilities the

advanced vessels will offer.

As RIA Novosti military observer Andrei Kotz recalled, the Admiral Gorshkov was designed

with universality in mind, with the "capability to combat surface ships and submarines with

equal effectiveness, attack land-based targets with high-precision weapons, resist aircraft

of the probable enemy, carry out reconnaissance by taking advantage of its low visibility

characteristics, and much more."

Russian Navy command remains confident about the promising vessels and their capabilities.

In 2016, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu confirmed that the Russian Navy would commission six

Project 22350 frigates by 2025.

Before that, the Navy said it hoped to receive over a dozen of the Admiral-series vessels

in the near future for service in the Arctic, the Atlantic, and the Mediterranean.

Speaking to RIA Novosti, Viktor Murakhovsky, editor-in-chief of Arsenal of the Fatherland

magazine, said that the Admiral Gorshkov is presently the most technologically sophisticated,

modern and impregnable surface ship in Russia's arsenal.

The ship "effectively serves as a research institute," the observer noted.

"Since 2006, the Admiral Gorshkov has seen the testing of virtually all of the Navy's

latest technologies, from electronic equipment to anti-aircraft missile systems and artillery mounts."

Admiral Gorshkov has a length of 135 m and has a displacement of 5,400 tons when fully loaded.

It is powered by 2 10D49 cruise diesel engines.

The Admiral Gorshkov class are relatively fast ships, traveling up to 30 knots per hour,

with a range of close to 4,850 nmi (8,980 km) at 14 knots p/h cruising speed.

In autonomous navigation, the vessel's 180-210 sailors and officers can remain at sea for

about a month before needing to resupply.

It has Furke-4 5P-27 main radar for Detection, tracking and targeting of air and surface

target.

the main radar is supplemented by Poliment 5P-20K 4 faced active phased array search,

tracking and guidance/management radar.

Moonlit 34K1 surface search radar is present for detect surface combatants.

Zaria M and Vinyetka towed array sonar are available to identify submarines.

The well equipped sensors provide the vessel will 360 degree view of its surrounding.

To date, 4 Project 22350 ships, including the Admiral Gorshkov, the Admiral Kasatonov,

the Admiral Golovko and the Admiral Isakov, are under different stages of development

. The first of the 3 have been launched and are undergoing trials, fitting out or the

final stages of construction work, and all are expected to be delivered before 2020.

At least 4 more ships have been ordered.

The Russian Navy has set a requirement for 20-30 such ships.

Admiral Gorshkov class vessels are designed to be nimble, relatively compact in size with

stealth characteristics aimed at making then hard to target.

The important aspect is that these have the ability to punch above their weight.

The Admiral Gorshkov's main strike power is provided by its 16 vertical launch system

Kalibr or Oniks cruise missile-equipped cell launchers, with air defense assured via 32

Polimet-Redut seaborne missile complex cells.

Close-quarters defense consists of two Palash close-in support guns.

ASW defense is covered by four Packet-NK torpedo tubes.

Finally, a 130mm A-192M naval gun firing 45 rounds per minute provides shore bombardment support.

The ship's weapons systems will be controlled by a new digital onboard information and control

system, complemented by cutting edge radio-electronic systems to keep tabs on approaching surface

ships and submarines.

It also has deck space for 1 Ka-27 series helicopter

The lethal offensive assets are the Oniks or Kalibr cruise missiles.

The P-800 Oniks is a Russian supersonic anti-ship cruise missile developed by NPO Mashinostroyeniya.

The missiles can carry nuclear or conventional warheads and can travel at distances up to

185 miles with the ability to skim along less than 30 feet above the ocean's surface at

speeds of Mach 2.6.

The missile includes an inertial, active-passive radar seeker head which makes the missile

essentially autonomous once it's launched.

It even has onboard EW countermeasures to resist jamming.

Kalibr missile has many variants.

3M54T (or 3M5431) is the anti-shipping variant is deployed by the Russian Navy, in a surface ship with

a VLS launched system . It has thrust vectoring booster enabling it

to have a range is 440–660 km (270–410 mi).

It is a Sea-skimmer with supersonic terminal speed of Mach 2.9 and a flight altitude of

just 4.6 meters (15 ft) at its final stage.

A simultaneous attack with 3 to 4 either P-800 Oniks or 3M54T (or 3M5431) Kalibr missiles could in all

probability penetrate the Anti Missile Defense systems of world's best destroyers including

those of the American Aleigh Burke class destroyer as well as those of aircraft carriers like Nimitz class.

These relatively cost effective vessels , if build good numbers could provide Russia with

an effective surface fleet.

Bastiaan can't eat after using Ecstasy | Drugslab - Duration: 10:22.

My jaw is completely... This is torture. I'm not kidding.

Hi, I'm Bastiaan. -And I'm Rens.

And welcome... -In our Drugslab.

In this lab... You wanted to do it. -I wanted to, but go ahead.

In this lab we test various drugs to see how it affects our body.

If you think we should try a certain drug, leave a comment.

Today is going to be a party, because many people were curious about... XTC.

It's your turn today. We've done XTC before on this show, but you haven't.

You have done MDMA. -That's right, but not XTC.

This is our XTC. It comes in different shapes and strengths.

We have a 'SIM card' of 180 mg. The active ingredient is MDMA.

You never know how strong a pill is, so have your pills tested, like we do.

Your zero values are on the board. They look good.

I have the feeling that XTC is the most widely used party drug.

That makes sense. It lasts long at parties.

You feel euphoric, energetic, and it makes you want to dance.

And you feel connected with people.

People often assume that XTC also contains speed...

but that's not true. XTC doesn't contain speed.

If it contains speed, it's not XTC, but a contaminated pill.

It's the same as MDMA, but in pill form. -Using XTC is never without risk.

A guideline for a dosage is 1-1.5 mg of MDMA per kilogram body weight.

How heavy are you? -73, but I've gained some weight, so 74.

You do look a bit chubbier. We're going to take half a pill, 90 mg.

That's perfect for you. Taking too much only enhances the negative effects...

such as: forgetfulness, clenched jaws, nausea, and confusion.

That's not pleasant. -Okay, here we go.

There's no way back. -Nope.

Time for an update. How do you feel? -I feel it's starting to kick in.

My mouth is dry and when I look at something it's blurry at first.

I can tell by your eyes, they're dilated.

Look at your heart rate. -My temperature has also gone up.

Is it a nice feeling? -It is, but I feel a bit apprehensive.

It often feels a bit uncomfortable when it begins to kick in.

Your heart rate goes up and a lot is happening.

You're starting to smile.

MDMA mainly affects your dopamine and serotonin levels.

MDMA increases the release and slows the reuptake of serotonin.

Serotonin makes you feel happy and it affects your body temperature.

That's why your temperature has gone up.

Dopamine is released as a reward. It makes you feel good and energetic.

XTC floods your brain with serotonin, which depletes your serotonin level.

Your body has to make more serotonin, but the next few days...

you might feel miserable and down, which is called the 'Tuesday Blues'.

That's brought on by a lack of serotonin.

If your serotonin levels are too high because you took too much XTC...

you can get the serotonin syndrome, which is dangerous and unpredictable.

In certain cases it can lead to death, so we highly discourage that.

I have clammy hands, look. -They're even wet.

I'm constantly gnawing my jaw. My jaw is completely like this...

Very confronting.

Is it an unpleasant sight? -I'm unpleasant to look at now.

Do you feel happier now? -A little bit.

Maybe I need to dance to feel better.

He's smiling straight away.

I'm cold.

XTC can make you feel cold...

because it constricts blood vessels and tightens muscles.

Don't dress too warmly and take breaks when you dance...

even though you may feel cold, your body is working hard and warm.

Take breaks to cool off on time to prevent your body from overheating.

And 1-2 glasses of water per hour. -Exactly.

Drinking too much water can cause? -Water intoxication.

MDMA makes the body retain water and causes difficulty urinating.

That's why you shouldn't drink too much.

The excessive fluid in your body can go to your brain.

This makes your brain swell, which can cause a fatal cerebral oedema.

So don't drink more than 1-2 glasses of water per hour.

Or soda. -Soda is fine too.

XTC makes you experience things more intensely, like physical contact.

But also the way how you taste things, because your taste buds are sensitive.

That's why I brought you a tasty tangerine.

I like the sour taste.

This is what I was afraid of, it's not tasty anymore.

The tangerine is all broken up now. Gross.

You don't like it? -No.

We also have Pop Rocks. It looks like pink MDMA.

It's not though, to be clear.

This feels so weird.

You can hear it popping in your ear, but it was a nice feeling.

I have another treat, a rusk with peanut butter.

It's dry and you have a very dry mouth. -I won't be able to eat that.

Let's see who can finish it first, okay?

Why are we doing this?

I can't even talk anymore. It's making everything stick together.

Everything is stuck together. -I can see that.

I can't swallow it.

It won't slide down my throat. It won't go away.

This is torture. I'm really not kidding.

I give up. I'm not going on. I'm out.

What's this? -I can't get it down.

What's this? -I've really had enough.

Wait.

Bastiaan is spitting it out now.

It was torture. I couldn't swallow it. It got stuck everywhere. Everywhere.

This might cheer you up. It's better to eat some ice-cream.

Someone appears to be happy. Just look at his face.

It's always a good idea to eat something when you use XTC.

It's good to eat some broth. -Or smoothies.

Smoothies are good. A broth is good for sodium.

What's interesting about MDMA is that it was once used for therapy...

and they want to start using it again. -I read about that.

Can you imagine using XTC for therapy?

I can. It helps you to talk and express your anxieties.

The setting plays an important role.

If you use it at a party, you get lost in the music and dance.

But in a home setting, it can have a therapeutic effect.

It helps you have good conversations and feel connected with the other.

XTC won't take away your depression. It will make you feel worse afterwards.

If you feel miserable or uncomfortable with yourself...

seek help first and go to your GP instead of experimenting with XTC.

XTC can trigger psychoses, anxiety attacks, and depressions, so be careful.

What do you want to do? -Play with Play-Doh.

Really? Go ahead and play.

Shall I make you? -Yes, do that.

This feels really weird. -XTC can affect your sense of touch.

What does it feel like? -Very soft, like rubber.

Can you concentrate properly? -Yes, I enjoy doing this. It's finished.

I think if someone were to make you out of clay, you would look like that.

That's true. It's like looking in a mirror.

XTC is often mixed with other drugs, but it places a great strain on your body.

So we highly discourage that, because it's risky and unpredictable.

How do you feel now? -Good.

You're feeling fine, aren't you? -Yes.

It'll last a while longer. It can last 4-6 hours before it slowly wears off.

I wonder how I'll feel tomorrow and whether I'll be able to sleep.

I'm curious if you'll get the 'Tuesday blues'.

Are we going to watch that now? -Yes.

I'm knackered. I slept horribly. I didn't fall asleep until 8 am.

That means I only slept two hours. It was a horrible night.

I was tossing and turning all night, but couldn't fall asleep.

I'm going to sleep some more to see if I'll feel better.

Luckily I'm off today and have nothing planned.

I can't even string a sentence together, so I'm going to go to bed.

It's two days later. It's half past three. I feel fine, no problems, no hangover.

I'm glad, because I expected to feel miserable.

It's sunny, so I'm going to get changed and sit on a terrace with friends.

Michel'le Can't Remember Where She Was When "The Chronic" Released | Death Row Chronicles - Duration: 3:28.

(upbeat music)

- I couldn't tell you.

I really don't remember.

I know it's an iconic album but probably

somewhere in one of those homes we had.

I couldn't tell you.

Probably Malibu.

Was probably somewhere in Malibu.

(upbeat music)

- The day The Chronic dropped I was smoking chronic.

In Watts.

Watts or Compton.

Who knows?

Somewhere around South Central Los Angeles.

I was smoking chronic the day The Chronic dropped.

- I don't remember where I was,

but I do remember listening to it fully

in my father's basement in the laundry room,

and just being stunned by everything.

By each song as it came.

I remember (bleep) ain't (bleep) particularly,

and how amazing that record was.

And you know, just being like,

you know how is it that the worse,

the most misogynistic record is also the best groove?

Like it was really, it was the whole you know,

thing of how you know gangsta music can be really beautiful,

but you know really ugly at the same time.

- I was in the studio with LL in New York actually

when The Chronic came out.

And I remember he said I heard that Dre just made

the best album hip hop has ever heard.

Like whatever he did with DOC, he just doubled that.

You know what I mean?

And so that was easily the best album anybody had heard.

(upbeat music)

- Can't remember.

These were our party central.

This was like the 90s.

You want me to remember the day?

Party central when the Doggystyle dropped?

I don't.

- I remember that day.

The day Doggystyle dropped, we were in Washington D.C.,

and we knew it was dropping that day,

'cause we wanted to hear exactly

what Snoop was saying about us.

So we went and bought Doggystyle,

and we played it in the van all the way to the airport.

We wasn't really impressed initially.

We was like eh.

So yeah, I remember that day well.

I was in Washington D.C. the day Doggystyle dropped.

- [Interviewer] Did the record grow on you?

- It grew on me, of course.

'Cause then they started putting the visuals out,

and the more you heard it, the more you liked it.

- I think I was when I first heard Doggystyle I was in a

conference room at The Source,

and we were listening to like a preview.

Like we had the album before everybody else.

Snoop was such a big star and this was like

the follow up to The Chronic,

and the more I listened to it, the more I loved it.

- Dogg was at The Summit and me and Daz

was over at the Oakwood with our own apartments.

(upbeat music)

- Well, you know I'm on that one.

But I don't remember where it was.

It was party central.

You know when they dropped Dogg Food,

I don't know where I was.

And I didn't even know that was gonna be

the first single that I was on.

I didn't know that until I heard the song.

SOMETHING HAPPENS THEY CAN COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY AND

IMMEDIATELY WITH SOMEONE OFF-SITE.

>>DO YOU HAVE ANYONE INSIDE WITH THE GUN THAT CAN TAKE ON THE MAN

THAT'S RIGHT OUTSIDE THE DOOR?

WHO BY THE WAY CAN SHOOT THROUGH

THE STEEL DOORS AS THEY DID IN YOUR SCHOOL, THE BULLETS WENT

RIGHT TO THE STEEL DOORS LIKE THEY WERE BUTTER.

>>YOU KNOW, LET'S WATCH THE REST OF IT.

>>ALL RIGHT, THEN WE'LL --

>>THAT'S A PART OF WHAT'S NECESSARY BUT I CAN TELL YOU

THIS, THEY HAVE COUNTERMEASURES THAT CAN BE EMPLOYED FROM THE

SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT WITHIN SECONDS TO CONTAIN THE ATTACKER,

AND IN A SENSE TURN THE ATTACK ON THE ATTACKER.

THAT'S A

CRITICAL PIECE, I WOULD INVITE YOU TO COME TO SHELBY COUNTY.

>>I JUST DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS HONESTLY.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS.

>>I CAN TELL YOU WHAT IT MEANS, IF YOU HAVE AN ACTIVE SHOOTER IN

THE HALLWAY AND HE'S GOING AROUND LOOKING FOR TARGETS,

WE'VE GOT THE DOORS BLOCKED, SOMEBODY IS MONITORING, AND FOR

EXAMPLE THEY HAVE SMOKE CANISTERS THAT CAN COME IN AND

BLINDED THE SHOOTER, WHICH DETRACTS HIM FROM HIS TARGET.

>>[LAUGHTER] I'M SORRY, THAT WAS FUNNIER THAN I EXPECTED.

BECAUSE

I READ IT BEFORE WATCHING IT AND IN READING IT I WAS GOING TO

SAY, LOOK, TO BE FAIR TO TRUMP, MAYBE HE'S JUST NEVER HEARD THAT

TACTIC BEFORE, HE'S A LITTLE CONFUSED BY IT, THAT'S OKAY AND

HE'S ASKING, IN FRONT OF THE NATIONAL AUDIENCE, I'M NOT SURE

THAT'S THE DIRECTION I WOULD GO, BUT YOU COULD ARGUE IT'S

EARNEST.

COULD YOU EXPLAIN THAT TO ME, AND HOW DOES THAT WORK,

ETC.?

BUT WHEN YOU WATCH IT, NO.

THAT'S NOT WHAT IS HAPPENING.

THIS IS WHAT IS HAPPENING.

SHOW ANA FOR A SECOND --

>>WHAT DOES THAT MEAN, I DON'T EVEN UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU MEAN,

SHOW ANA FOR SECOND.

DOES THE DIRECTOR HAVE A GUN HE CAN SHOOT

FROM ACROSS THE STUDIO IN CASE I HAVE A GUN?

BECAUSE THAT BULLET

CAN SHOOT THROUGH THE STUDIO LIKE BUTTER.

>>ONE MORE THING, UPON READING IT I THOUGHT, YOU KNOW, I THINK

MAYBE HE GOT A LITTLE CONFUSED AND MAYBE PEOPLE ARE OVERHYPING

HOW CONFUSED HE GOT -- UPON WATCHING IT, I REALIZED IT

WASN'T OF THE CONFUSION AS MUCH AS HE WAS MAD THAT THE PROPOSED

SOLUTION DIDN'T INVOLVE TEACHERS TRYING TO EXECUTE THE SHOOTER.

HE'S LIKE, WHERE IS THE GUN?

>>BUT HE WAS STRANGELY DISMISSIVE OF THE ATTORNEY

GENERAL, CURTIS HILL BY THE WAY IS HIS NAME.

>>OF INDIANA.

>>WAS I THE ONLY ONE THINKING THERE MIGHT BE A RACIAL DYNAMIC

THERE?

>>IT WENT THROUGH MY MIND, BECAUSE HE WOULDN'T MAKE EYE

CONTACT WITH HIM AND I THOUGHT IT WAS STRANGE.

IF YOU WERE

ASKING HIM A QUESTION JUST MAKE EYE CONTACT WITH HIM, TALK TO

HIM AS IF HE'S A HUMAN BEING, SO THAT YOU ARE TRYING TO

COMPREHEND WHAT HE'S TELLING YOU. AND HE DIDN'T SEEM TO DO

ANY OF THAT.

BY THE WAY, HILL SAYS --

>>SO HIS SUGGESTIONS WERE ALL ABOUT CONTAINING THIS MASS

SHOOTER, FINDING A WAY TO DISTRACT HIM FROM HIS TARGET,

CREATING CERTAIN SAFEGUARDS -- IT'S JUST THAT HIS SOLUTIONS

DIDN'T PROVIDE WHAT TRUMP WANTED, WHICH IS MORE WEAPONS ON

CAMPUS.

>>I REALIZE AS YOU READ THAT LAST PART, TOO, APPARENTLY I'M

HAVING A LOT OF MID SEGMENT EPIPHANIES HERE, I REALIZED AS

YOU WERE READING WHO WOULD NOT GET TO HAVE GUNS, MAYBE TRUMP

THOUGHT, OH, THEN I WOULDN'T GET TO HAVE A GUN.

MENTALLY UNFIT

PEOPLE WHO ARE A LITTLE UNSTABLE.

>>NO, HE PASSED HIS DEMENTIA TEST WITH FLYING COLORS, CENK.

HE'S A VERY STABLE GENIUS.

>>HE CAN TELL WHAT A RHINOCEROS LOOKS LIKE, HE NAILED IT. AND

AGAIN, INDIANA IS NOT KNOWN FOR BEING THE MOST LIBERAL STATE SO

IT'S NOT LIKE HE WAS DEALING WITH NANCY PELOSI'S COUSIN FROM

SAN FRANCISCO.

IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN A FRIENDLY SITUATION.

MIKE

PENCE, HIS VICE PRESIDENT, IS FROM INDIANA, THE ATTORNEY

GENERAL OF INDIANA IS HERE, HE HAS SOME PROPOSED SOLUTIONS THAT

HE COULD BRAG HALF WORKED BECAUSE HIS OWN VICE PRESIDENT

HELPED PUT THEM IN PLACE.

BUT INSTEAD THE CHILD HEARD FROM AN

ADULT AND THE ADULT DIDN'T CONFIRM WHAT HE WANTED.

BUT I

WANTED ICE CREAM, WHY ISN'T THERE ICE CREAM HERE?

IT'S SO

SAD.

>>I'M TORN WATCHING THAT, WE HAVE BEEN TALKING TO GUN GROUPS

AND ON DETECTING THERE ARE INSIDER CONVERSATIONS HAPPENING

AND THERE'S WHAT THE PEOPLE WANT, WHICH IS AN ASSAULT

WEAPONS BAN AND BANNING HIGH-CAPACITY CLIPS.

I THINK

THIS RED FLAG LAW IS PROBABLY RIGHT ON THE EDGE, PROBABLY THE

BOLDEST THING WITHIN THE INSIDERS, BUT THERE ARE SO MANY

SOLUTIONS PUT ON THE TABLE THAT AREN'T THAT BOLD, AND PART OF ME

IS LIKE, WHY DOESN'T HE JUST ACCEPT THAT?

THERE WOULD BE

CANISTERS IN THE HALLWAY WITH SMOKE COMING OUT TO DISTRACT THE

GUNMEN, OKAY, THAT'S GOOD.

THAT'S NOT THE REAL SOLUTION WE

NEED, THAT'S A LAST DITCH EFFORT, SO HOPEFULLY THAT'S NOT

WHERE THE BIPARTISAN CONSENSUS LANDS -- BUT I KIND OF WANT TO

GANG UP ON HIM BUT ALSO THE SCOPE OF CONVERSATION I WANT IS

ALSO NOT REPRESENTED IN THIS CONVERSATION RIGHT NOW.

>>THAT'S A GREAT POINT FROM A POLICY PERSPECTIVE.

AND ONE LAST

THING ABOUT IT IN TERMS OF TRUMP AS PRESIDENT IS HE DOESN'T DO

HIS HOMEWORK.

IF HE HAD DONE HIS HOMEWORK HE MIGHT KNOW WHAT THE

ATTORNEY GENERAL WAS GOING TO SAY, AND HE WOULD HAVE A

REACTION TO THAT AND THINK IT THROUGH.

IF SOMEONE TOLD ME WE

ARE GOING TO HAVE A CONVERSATION WITH THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF ANY

GIVEN STATE, IT WILL BE ON NATIONAL TV, HE WILL PROPOSE A

SOLUTION, MY FIRST QUESTION WOULD BE WHAT IS HIS SOLUTION?

AND I'D LIKE TO UNDERSTAND THAT BETTER SO I DON'T GET SURPRISED

IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE COUNTRY.

TRUMP OF COURSE NEVER BOTHERED

TO READ THAT OR ASK AND WAS TOTALLY UNPREPARED, SO WHEN HE

HEARS THAT HE'S GENUINELY SURPRISED AND HE KEEPS THINKING

WHY ISN'T HE GIVING ME MY ICE CREAM?

I WANT GUNS, I WANT

TEACHERS TO HAVE GUNS.

AND YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT INTELLIGENT

SOLUTIONS HERE THAT DON'T MATCH WHAT I WANTED.

BUT IF YOU HAD

DONE YOUR HOMEWORK YOU WOULD ALREADY KNOW THAT, IF YOU ARE

UNHAPPY WITH THAT YOU COULD'VE CANCELED IT, IF YOU ARE A

REPUBLICAN OUT THERE MAYBE YOU SHOULD BE MAD AT HIM FOR NOT

CANCELING IT, NOT DOING THE HOMEWORK, OR MORE EFFECTIVELY

CHALLENGING HIM AND GOING I UNDERSTAND THAT BUT HERE IS MY

POINT OF VIEW ON IT.

INSTEAD OF --

>>SO SAD.

>>WE KNOW THAT THE PRESIDENT, WHO HAS BEEN APPLAUDED AS A

GREAT DEALMAKER, IS ACTUALLY A TERRIBLE DEALMAKER, HE'S NOT

INTERESTED IN NEGOTIATING OR HAVING A CONVERSATION, HE IS

INTERESTED IN GETTING WHAT HE WANTS, AND ALSO INTERESTED IN

VALIDATION.

BUT TO YOUR POINT, ADAM, I HEAR WHAT YOU WERE

SAYING ABOUT THE INSIDER DISCUSSIONS AND HOW THE THINGS

BEING PROPOSED AREN'T REALLY LEGITIMATE SOLUTIONS THAT WOULD

PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING AGAIN IN THE FUTURE -- MY ISSUE

IS THAT WHILE THEY ARE PLAYING PATTY CAKE WITH ONE ANOTHER WITH

THESE NON-SOLUTIONS, YOU DO HAVE MEMBERS OF THE FAR RIGHT OR NOT

HOLDING BACK IN TALKING ABOUT HOW THEY WANT MORE GUNS, MORE

GUNS FOR TEACHERS, MORE ARMED GUARDS ON CAMPUS.

AND BY THE

WAY, I DON'T THINK THAT MOST AMERICANS HAVE FORGOTTEN THAT

THERE HAVE BEEN MULTIPLE CASES OF SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICERS WHO

HAVE GOTTEN INCREDIBLY PHYSICAL WITH STUDENTS, DRAGGING THEM BY

THEIR HAIR, SLAMMING THEM ON THE GROUND WHEN THEY ARE MISBEHAVING

EVEN A LITTLE.

ARE YOU COMFORTABLE WITH YOUR STUDENTS

GOING TO SCHOOL WITH ARMED GUARDS WHO COULD USE LETHAL

WEAPONS TO RESPOND TO INCIDENTS LIKE THAT?

I WOULDN'T FEEL COMFORTABLE WITH THAT.

>>SUCH A GREAT POINT AND WE SEE THE AMOUNT OF DEFERENCE

GIVEN TO POLICE OFFICERS WHEN THEY PULL SOMEONE OVER FOR

A BROKEN TAIL LIGHT AND THEN THEY KILLED THEM AND THEY

LET THEM OFF, WHAT DOES THAT MEAN FOR OUR KIDS IN SCHOOLS?

>>IT'S TERRIFYING.

6 space technologies we can use to improve life on Earth | Danielle Wood - Duration: 10:52.

I was 17 when I chose my career.

I was standing outside

on a hot summer night in Florida

and just a few miles from the ocean.

I was waiting for a miracle to happen.

That summer, I was privileged to work as an intern

at NASA's Kennedy Space Center,

and the miracle I was waiting for

was the launch of the Columbia Space Shuttle

carrying the Chandra X-Ray Observatory,

a telescope that would allow scientists to peer into the edge of black holes.

The entire sky filled with light.

And it was as if it was daytime in the middle of the night.

Soon, we could feel the rumble of the engines vibrating in our chests.

And it wasn't a miracle;

it was the combined effort of a team of thousands of people

who worked together

to make was seemed impossible a reality.

And I wanted to join that team.

So I decided to apply to a university where I could study aerospace engineering.

And the following year,

I started at MIT in my engineering training

and joined a student project building space robots.

And everything was going as I planned,

except I was confused about something important.

Now, my confusion arose in my summer breaks.

I traveled to a school in Kenya,

and there I volunteered with girls ages five to 17,

giving them lessons in English and math and science.

And they taught me songs in Swahili.

And mostly, I just spent time getting to know the girls,

enjoying their presence.

And I saw that these girls and the leaders in their community,

they were overcoming important barriers

to allow these girls to have the best possible chances in life.

And I wanted to join that team.

I wanted to be part of a team that would help break down barriers

and improve the lives of girls around the world.

But I was worried that studying aerospace engineering

wasn't the most useful.

I was worried this team in Kenya couldn't use the technology

I was learning about space.

But thankfully, I still learned that I was wrong.

I came back and interned at NASA again,

and this time,

a mentor taught me

that countries like Kenya had been using space technology for decades

to improve the lives in their own countries.

And then I knew that I could have a career in space

and in development.

This idea is not new.

In fact, in 1967, the nations of the world came together

to write the Outer Space Treaty.

This treaty made a bold statement,

saying, "The exploration and use of outer space

should be carried on for the benefit of all peoples,

irrespective of their level of economic or scientific development."

We have not truly lived up to this ideal,

although people have worked for decades to make this a reality.

Forces such as colonialism and racism

and gender inequality

have actually excluded many people from the benefits of space

and caused us to believe that space is for the few

or the rich or elite.

But we cannot afford this attitude,

because the world is engaged in a vital mission

to improve life for everyone.

Our road map for this mission comes from the 17 Sustainable Development Goals

of the United Nations.

All the member states of the United Nations have agreed

that these are priorities between now and 2030.

These goals give us our key moments and opportunities of our time --

opportunities to end extreme poverty,

to insure that everyone has access to food and clean water.

We must pursue these goals as a global community.

And technology from space supports sustainable development.

In fact, there are six space services

that can help us pursue the Sustainable Development Goals.

Over the next few minutes, let's explore these six services,

and see examples of just a few of the goals they help support.

You ready?

OK.

Communication satellites provide access to phone and internet service

to almost any location on Earth.

This is particularly important during times of disaster recovery.

When Typhoon Haiyan struck the Philippines,

the local communication networks needed to be repaired,

and teams brought in inflatable communication antennas

that could link to satellites.

This was useful during the time of repair and recovery.

Positioning satellites tell us where we are

by telling us where they are.

Scientists can use this technology to track endangered wildlife.

This turtle has been fitted with a system

that allows it to receive location information from positioning satellites,

and they send the location information to scientists

via communication satellites.

Scientists can use this knowledge to then make better policies

and help determine how to keep these animals alive.

Earth observation satellites.

They tell us what's going on in our environment.

Right now, there are about 150 satellites

operated by over 60 government agencies,

and these are just those observing the Earth.

And meanwhile, companies are adding to this list.

Most of the governments provide the data from the satellites for free online.

Some of these satellites provide images like this,

that show what you would see from a camera.

This is an image showing agricultural land in Kansas.

However, the majority of the Earth observation satellites

don't take pictures at all.

They take measurements.

And they combine these measurements with complex computer models

and make beautiful, global visualizations such as this one,

showing the ocean currents

and the temperature of the ocean, globally.

Or we can look at the salt and smoke and dust in the atmosphere,

or the rainfall and snowfall, globally,

as well as the annual cycle of vegetation on land and in the ocean.

Now, scientists can take this information about the rainfall and the vegetation

and use it to understand

what areas on Earth are in danger of a famine or a drought

and provide that information to aid organizations

so they can be prepared with food aid before the hunger becomes severe.

In space, we have an orbiting laboratory on the International Space Station.

The vehicle and everything inside are in a form of free fall

around the Earth,

and they don't experience the effect of gravity.

And because of this, we call it "microgravity."

When astronauts are in the microgravity environment,

their bodies react as if they're aging rapidly.

Their bones and muscles weaken,

and their cardiovascular system and their immune system change.

As scientists study how to keep astronauts healthy in space,

we can take the exercises and techniques we use for astronauts

and transfer them to people on Earth

to improve our health here.

Often, as we develop technology for astronauts and exploration

or for spacecraft,

we can also transfer those inventions to improve life on Earth.

Here's one of my favorites.

It's a water filtration system,

and a key component of it is based on the technology

to filter wastewater on the space station.

It's now being used around the world.

Space is also an infinite source of inspiration,

through education,

through research and astronomy

and that age-old experience of stargazing.

Now, countries around the world are engaging in advancing

their own development

by increasing their local knowledge of engineering and science and space.

Let's meet some of the world's newest satellite engineers.

This is Elyka Abello, from Venezuela.

Elyka is training as a satellite engineer

as part of her national satellite program in Venezuela.

She has designed a software tool

that allows her team to better design the power systems for engineering.

This is Adel Castillo-Duran,

from the Philippines.

Adel is both a meteorologist and a satellite engineer,

and she uses data from satellites in her weather forecasting.

And finally, meet Hala.

Hala is from the Sudan,

and as she was studying electrical engineering as an undergraduate

in Khartoum,

she and several students decided to build their own satellite.

And later, Hala earned a scholarship to study satellite engineering

at the graduate level.

These stories that I've shared with you

all illustrate that space truly is useful for sustainable development

for the benefit of all peoples.

But we have more work to do,

because there are still barriers that exclude people from space

and limit the impact of this technology.

For many people, Earth observation data is complex.

And satellite communication services are too expensive.

And microgravity research just appears to be inaccessible.

This is what motivates my work as a professor at MIT's Media Lab.

I've recently founded a new research group called Space Enabled.

We are working to tear down these barriers that limit the benefits of space.

And we're also going to develop the future applications

that will continue to contribute to sustainable development.

We'll keep on this work

until we can truly say that space is for the benefit of all peoples,

and we are all space enabled.

Thank you.

(Applause)

Android 17 Can't Be Wished Back?- Dragon Ball Super - Duration: 10:46.

Android 17, a character who went from being that one cool guy from Dragon Ball Z to a

character with a lot of depth we all fell in love with.

He sacrificed himself to protect us, as he self-destructed while protecting Goku and

Vegeta from Jiren's wrath.

His effort, bought some really valuable time for Goku and Vegeta, so they could rise back

up.

And with that, he became the first fighter to die in the Battle Royal stage, I mean others

got erased along with their Universes, but this is the first and only death in The Tournament

of Power, at least up to Episode 128.

Now, as I was thinking of Android 17 and the future of DBS, I had some random ideas floating

in my mind.

Now what I'm going to share in this video isn't a very well thought out theory or

something I am predicting, many people fail to realize that.

It's just I'm wondering about it, and just thought it would be fun to discuss it

with you guys.

People fail to understand this sometimes, I had posted a video where I was like here

are the reasons I think it would be really cool if we got a Super Namekian God Piccolo,

and here's why he deserves it, but at the end of the video I also mentioned, it's

not going to happen, there's like 1% chance, which people seems to ignore.

Then they come back here and comment stuff like, man you promised there was going to

be a Super Namekian God.

Well, I didn't.

So, let's move on.

You know Dragon Ball Super is taking place in between the 10 year gap of when Buu was

defeated to the ending of Dragon Ball Z.

And Toyotaro and other officials has said, Super doesn't have any plan of changing

the DBZ ending, and they'll keep it as it was shown in the original run.

You know in last episode of Z, we almost saw everyone apart from Android 17.

Where was he?

Well, it's not really that hard to imagine, I mean this dude was denying to come to The

Tournament of Power despite knowing the world would be destroyed, a martial arts tournament

shouldn't even come to his mind at all, but 17 did form a good friendship and I would

expect him to be more involved after ToP.

Could it be that he remains dead.

Actually forget the ending of DBZ, maybe he will be alive by then, but that aside.

Could it be possible that Android 17 will not be back to life after the Tournament of

Power?!

Well, you might be saying, like many had already said.

Yes, 17's death made me emotional, but come on dude its Dragon Ball, nothing to cry about

really, he's going be back after the Tournament.

And you got a point; one of the biggest limitations Dragon Ball automatically built up on its

own is reducing the literal death.

Almost no characters we truly love are at the risk of dying forever, in a way that we

won't see them again.

This does take away more or less thrill from the show.

No matter who they are fighting, no matter what, even they dies, at the end of the day

it's going to be just fine.

So we never really have too much on stake, but the story of Universal Survival Arc.

Could've strongly countered that, because this time the Universe can get erased and

there's that logical risk.

However, the timing of this arc was absolutely awful; they could've saved this story for

after they go past the ending of Dragon Ball Z.

All of us knowing the end also meant we already knew that there's a 0% risk of Universe

7 getting annihilated permanently.

And if you think about it, this literally destroyed the obvious biggest suspense of

the tournament.

There are some options like Frieza's story, but the main thing once again was destroyed.

However, with Android 17's death there's a possibility of this arc leaving a serious

scratch.

How do you think 17 will be wished back?

Well, don't we kind of know the Super Dragon Ball wish is reserved for restoring the destroyed

Universes no matter who wins?

If they are not going to do a totally sadistic ending with Frieza becoming the new Zeno,

and Nappa coming back to replace The Great Priest!

The only logical outcome is it ending as someone wishes back all the destroyed Universes.

But the question is then what happens to Android 17.

He isn't among the destroyed Universes, right?!

Also, I believe there's a difference between getting killed and being destroyed.

If they want to show something like that they could probably wish for everything destroyed

as a result of the tournament to be restored thinking 17 will be restored too, but only

later finds he isn't coming back, and the one wish is gone.

So then you go down to the obvious second option, that is Goku and Co. will be wishing

him back using Earth or Namek's Dragon Balls, but wait!

We know both the Dragons have some limitations, and Android 17 self-destructed in the world

of Void.

This world of void, is like in a different realm, outside all the Universes, and is not

restricted by the bounds of time and space, and we don't really know what happens to

someone when they die in the world of void.

Will 17 automatically go to the after world for because he is from Universe 7?

He could.

But, what if he doesn't, what if his soul gets stuck in the world of void permanently?

Initially, Goku and others won't realize this before finding out it's far beyond

Shenron's power to wish him back, and only Super Shenron has the power to bring their

friend back, but the Super Dragon Balls are now randomly floating in different Universes.

This could open up the gate to a lot of interesting plots, while keeping something important at

stake.

Like the problem I discussed earlier, it feels like nothing bad can happen, well now they

are fighting for their friend.

If it's a tournament, they must win it otherwise their friend who sacrificed himself to save

them will never be coming back.

You see now something is different, now there's a If that we don't know the answer to.

There's suspense!

And since Super Dragon Balls have been introduced I think it would also be fun if they do something

like making Goku and Co. travel around different Universes just to gather them.

Maybe something will start going wrong, and then Jiren will join because he understands

U7 now, and feels bad because he was involved with 17's death in a way.

What I'm saying is, plot wise it would be quite an interesting idea, because usually

what's the ultimate threat?

Knowing everyone will survive, doesn't get us pumped emotionally 100%!

But if there's like fighting for resurrecting a character who won our hearts in a matter

of just a single arc, I think we will be able to feel the thrill better.

Also, it would kind of rebuild the reputation of the fear of death in the Dragon Ball Universe.

I actually want someone to somehow like die forever or at least for 100+ episodes so he

actually feels like he is gone.

And having to go through a lot just to bring back someone would still be better than just

simply restoring all the damages after a major fight.

That way, if you ask me personally, I would prefer to play a bit with 17's death before

bringing him back, I would try to establish a serious tone, as Goku or someone promises

17's wife and family that they'll bring him back.

Like, I need something like that to truly feel something is at stake.

I have a feeling fans will find this change of tone to somewhat of a serious emotional

side of the game, at least refreshing.

However, having that said, let me make it very clear that I'm not predicting or betting

this will happen.

This was just an idea I wanted to share with you, as in how Dragon Ball can play a bit

with the idea of death, which they have kind of ruined.

Also as you know DBS is ending with Episode 131, if something like that were to happen,

if it ended with a cliffhanger, the likelihood of the story continuing even further through

Series or even movies would increase.

So hell yeah I would prefer that over a dull plain ending, that leaves absolutely nothing

to look forward to.

It's funny the happier the ending is, in terms of the story, the sadder it will be

for us.

Because the possibility of it continuing would be higher with a twisted ending.

The most likely outcome is that Android 17 will be wished back by Epsidoe 131, maybe

Super Dragon Balls will do the job, or maybe 17 is in U7's after world and Shenron can

bring him back, and we will have a simple happy ending, because understand this.

All they said was that the show is ending in March 25th, not that it's just a break.

It's not officially confirmed that it'll ever come back.

So from that point of view, they might be unable to end it with a cliffhanger.

So, guys, yeap, that's about all.

Comment your opinion, and let me know what would you rather have, a bit of play with

17's death or you want the man back in the Jungle right away!

See you in the next, Dragon Ball Super video!
