Youtube daily can Dec 29 2017

Hello everyone, my name is Andrew and welcome to the video.

So today I'd like to talk about thought and creativity.

Can thought be creative?

Now let's begin by already understanding that thought, ego, I, me, is what I am, is what

I'm identified with.

So "I" as thought, can "I" be creative, do something creative or act creatively?

Now I looked up the definition of creativity and to sum it up, it basically has a quality

of newness.

So let's take a step back and look at creation itself.

Man has created toys, automobiles, chairs, I'm just basically picking random things now

that I see in my room, lamps, computers.

So in that sense, man has created that.

Now let's question, has man created the dog, the cat, the oak tree, the ocean, the fish,

a child?

Has Man created that?

So when we come to the question, can thought be creative?

What do we see from that question now?

Are we approaching it with an answer, which is not really exploring the question deeply

or are we simply looking at the question listening to the question, can thought be creative?

When a flower is blossoming, blooming, how can I do that?

How can I make that happen?

So I always think it's funny how we always want to be creative, to act creatively and

yet, thought, is always absolutely of the past.

The only reason we have thought or we are able to think is because we remember something

that we've already experienced or that has already happened, so therefore, memory, thought,

is the movement of memory.

Thought and the action of thought is always incomplete because memory, being the past,

is always incomplete.

Our experiences are never total, our experiences happen and then that's the end of it.

We don't know what is new, because what is new hasn't happened yet.

So therefore, how can thought, which is something we already know, something we already remember,

how can that bring about a quality of newness?

It possibly can't it could only bring something that is old, something that has already happened,

that is incomplete.

So can thought be creative?

Can I be creative?

So I thought this was a very interesting question that I heard in one of Krishnamurti's talks,

because in our daily lives we live and we believe that we can be creative in a sense.

And we try to do this through effort, through will, desire, will, being the strongness of

desire, if I could use that.

So creativity is that part of life that thought has to realize its place and just end, there

is just intelligence.

No thought interfering trying to act out of effort and will, but that is all we are trained

to do is to act from thought and therefore, there's never that creativeness, that quality

of newness.

So that's all I want to talk about in this video, as you can see I got my plant buddies

over here.

I thought it was it would be really cool idea to throw these two awesome...

I almost called them people.

Let's just say their people, awesome peeps, in the video, but I'm gonna be honest, I

haven't really watered them that much.

I feel terrible, but at the same time I do eat plants for a living.

So I'm killing plants and at the same time I'm feeling bad for not watering this particular

plant and killing it and it just doesn't make sense, So a couple of leaves might be looking

kind of yellow in there and kind of brownish, but I think it'll be alright, snake plant,

this plants a beast, like this one could go weeks without water.

It's crazy, it's still super green and super sturdy.

Look at that, look at them muscles flexing.

Alright well, that's it for this video, thank you for watching and listening and I will

see you all next time.

Thank you and have a great day, bye bye.

Can you see the future? Bad news for you. - Duration: 2:17.

How much do you know about the FUTURE? No I'm not talking about future

technologies, events, hypothesis of the future, or anything predictable.

But actual clairvoyance and fortune-telling. To see the exact number that's gonna

come out in the lottery as they're being extracted is an example - If only I would

have bought the ticket..! Yale University's Adam Bear has another one: you think it's

about to rain and immediately starts raining. Actually the first drop of rain

had already touched your skin but you noticed it only unconsciously.

You did not foresee an event but rather perceived it in delay.

This is what, according to a new study, might be happening to who claims

to see the future. Only at a much larger scale. The study, made on mentally healthy subjects,

was in fact pretty simple: they were put in front of a screen with five white

circles. At a point one of the five circles randomly was becoming red

and participants had to guess which one. As expected most participants told that

they had guessed correctly around one fifth of the times. So far so good.

But now the situation changes and the circle switches color much faster.

And guess what? Participants now reported a higher success rate.

But how is this possible? People were just CONVINCED to guess right

more often. What they were feeling here was not clairvoyance but just

a mere description of events already happened and not yet consciously elaborated.

Another thing, participants who thought to have made the most

correct guesses did also obtain a higher score on a scale to measure delusional ideation.

This means that there's a correlation between the convinction of having

abilities of foresight and having irrational thoughts or behavior.

In conclusion. As you see, it happens to everyone to have a little bit of foresight

but it might happen too often or worse, on a large scale, to people with an issue

on understanding events order.

Revolutionary technology can diagnose heart and lung disease fro - Duration: 4:12.

Revolutionary technology can diagnose heart and lung disease from a patients breath

Looking for signs of heart and lung disease in the future could just be as easy as checking

your breath, according to experts who participated in the first East Midlands Breathomics Pathology

Node (EMBER) Industry Symposium.

The EMBER symposium, held at the University of Leicester, examined the most recent advancements

in technology could be used in order to provide more accurate assessments for conditions such

as asthma, pneumonia, heart failure, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) without

resorting to invasive procedures.

(Related: Simple breath tests could detect lung cancer.)

In its current state, a group of physicians and research staff from the universitys

hospitals is gathering breath samples from patients who were admitted to the hospital

because of an acute shortness of breath.

After collecting the samples, these were sent out to the university, as well as Loughborough

University, for further chemical analysis.

This included running the sample through a machine in order to create a map of

the chemicals that were found in that breath.

The map would then be used to identify markers or signs that would provide a more accurate

picture of the overall health of the patient, and enable physicians to choose the best route

in treating any conditions found.

When a patient comes into the hospital they dont say I have heart failure,

they describe their symptoms and clinicians try to find the cause of those symptoms to

make a diagnosis.

However, our current diagnostic tools are not always sensitive and specific enough to

pick up certain conditions in their early stages, such as diseases deep in the lungs,

Professor Salman Siddiqui from the Leicester Biomedical Research Center of the University

of Leicester explains.

This breath analysis could be a quick way to accurately identify the cause without the

patient requiring an invasive procedure or multiple scans.

This means we could give the patient the best chance of recovery, reduce exposure to drugs

with potentially harmful side effects, and reduce readmission rates.

Currently, non-invasive methods of diagnosis have been a field that has been getting attention

recently.

In Sweden, researchers from the University of Gothenburg have figured out a way for drug

testing through examining different compounds in a persons breath.

In their report, published in the Journal of Breath Research, they demonstrate the viability

of non-invasive testing and monitoring of patients by analyzing externally-produced

compounds in the lining fluid of the airways.

To prove their hypothesis, breath samples of 13 people who were undergoing methadone

treatment were taken.

The samples were then investigated to determine if traces of the drug could be distinguished

from their breath.

This was tested in two ways electret filtration and impaction to determine which of the

methods would prove to be more effective in determining trace chemicals from human breath.

The results showed that both methods were able to trace methadone.

While the concentration of the drug in the breath sample was lesser than that of filtration,

researchers say that the method could be further improved to include the examination of lung

disease, as well as airborne contamination.

An earlier study had already pointed out the benefits of breath analysis in medical diagnosis:

it is inexpensive, non-invasive, and can be done under a minimal amount of time.

Additionally, the impact of breath analysis has a far-reaching effect aside from medicine.

It can be also used for environmental monitoring (an example of which is checking ambient air

levels as well as its direct effects) and security.

Michelle Duggar Can't Stop Getting Bad Press, Even Without '19 Kids and Counting' - Duration: 1:56.

The Duggars endured a nationwide scandal in 2015, but Michelle Duggar looks to be having

a rough 2017 too.

The reality show matriarch is perpetually in the news, and it's usually not for anything

good.

In October, for example, fans criticized her and husband Jim Bob for posting a photo of

their infant grandchildren being "trained" to mop the floors.

Michelle also made headlines that same month when Facebook commenters thought she looked

ill in recent photos.

Then in November, one of her blog posts fueled rumors of a Duggar family feud.

And just this month, Michelle got mom-shamed over a throwback photo of daughter Jinger.

Even her recent 51st birthday celebration backfired, featuring awkward PDA between her

and Jim Bob.

Still, all things considered, Michelle and Jim Bob's life could be worse.

They're spending the holidays with their 20 kids, some of whom are featured on the

19 Kids and Counting spin-off Counting On.

The 20th kid, by the way, isn't even their own!

His name is Tyler, and he's a great-nephew.

The pair officially adopted him in 2016.

And yes, 2017 is a far cry from 2015.

In May of that year, TLC canceled 19 Kids and Counting after In Touch revealed that

Josh Duggar, their eldest child, had molested five girls, four of whom were his sisters.

In fact, the network not only stopped production on the show, but took reruns off the air too.

Still, Michelle and Jim Bob appear on Counting On all the time… though we still haven't

figured out what Michelle does when she's not on TV (apart from raise those 10+ kids

who still live at home, of course).

Can we get a behind-the-scenes Michelle-centric spin-off?

Why Eating Berries Can Lower Your Risk of Type 2 Diabetes ⚫healthcare☑️ - Duration: 4:17.

Around one in ten persons in the United States now has diabetes, and many more have elevated

blood sugar levels and prediabetes symptoms.

However, eating more berries and receiving the benefits of their health-promoting anthocyanins

and flavonoids is proving to be a powerful step toward avoiding this disease.

Anthocyanins are the colorful pigments found in plant components such as berries and other

fruits, flowers, leaves and stems.

They are what give plants their deep, rich red, blue and purple hues.

All told, there are at least 560 different anthocyanins.

However, research is calling attention to the edible flavonoid anthocyanins found in

berries as showing tremendous health benefits, including help in the war against diabetes.

Anthocyanins in berries reduce the risk of diabetes and prediabetes

The Harvard School of Public Health released a study published in The American Journal

of Clinical Nutrition that showed flavonoids in blueberries significantly lower type 2

diabetes risk.

Previous studies have shown consuming more berries improve insulin sensitivity.

The compounds in berries also reduce signs of metabolic syndrome – which involves biomarkers

that indicate a likelihood of diabetes.

Studies about blueberries found that these flavonoid-rich berries help shield participants

against diabetes and metabolic syndrome.

Over 180,000 men and women free of cancer, diabetes and cardiovascular disease were tracked

in terms of health and eating habits for two decades.

Higher intake of berries was associated with a significantly lowered risk for type 2 diabetes.

Anthocyanins in berries reduce inflammation, cardiovascular issues, neurological disorders

and cancer risk

Anthocyanins contain potent antioxidants that could help heal a range of health conditions

in addition to diabetes, including inflammation, arthritis, gout, neurological disorders, and

cancer.

Black raspberry, in particular, can inhibit esophageal cancer in rats by up to 60 percent

and block colon cancer development by as much as 80 percent.

Studies of polyphenolic extracts from cranberries were found to inhibit tumor growth in breast,

colon, lung, and prostate cancers.

While anthocyanins played a role, researchers speculate that cranberries have a unique combination

of phytochemicals that may be the reason for these potent anti-cancer effects.

Some of the best berry sources for anthocyanins and flavonoids include blueberries, cranberries,

chokeberries, raspberries, acai berries, cherries, blackberries, currants, mulberries and elderberries.

These healing compounds are also present in dark colored grapes, red cabbage, red and

purple olives, blood oranges, and eggplant skins.

High concentrations of anthocyanin are the most effective against disease

While eating fresh, organic berries offers a range of health benefits, seeking out fruit

concentrates can increase their healing benefits and effects dramatically.

Juices, dried berries and freeze dried berries are up to 10 times more potent in some cases.

For best health results, consume at least half a cup of organic berries per day.

You can also take an anthocyanin-rich supplement to receive its protective effects against

diabetes and other health issues.

How Can You Agree More & Fight Less In Marriage: Clip from Podcast 219 - Duration: 2:21.

Dr. Kim, how do we fix this as a couple? What steps can this couple take to start agreeing more and fight less?

I think the first step is both admitting we got a problem here.

And not only admitting, but deciding we do want this to change.

You got a choice. You can fight together the rest of your life or you can fight together until you get a divorce.

Or you can say, "We got to stop this. We can turn this around. This isn't why we got married.

We stood at the altar before God."

It was not, "We could settle here and argue every single thing in life." That was just not fun.

You can find somebody else to deal with that. You just don't have to pay their bills or pay bills together.

So, I think one is just acknowledging together that there's a problem and what steps you need to take.

I was talking to a couple this weekend and I think other couples do that, that when they can't agree they stop and pray.

I mean, that's huge! That's hard to do. Especially if you gotten some emotion in it.

But to agree on that together and say, "We get in this kind of conflict or we can't agree on something. Let's just stop and pray for God's wisdom."

I promise you, when you do that, it will change things and you will make a better decision.

But I think taking personal responsibility in them, what part do I play in it.

Because if you say we're gonna fix this. And then you look at your spouse and say,

"Now, you need to do, and you do this, and you do this and we'll be okay!"

Now you got to look at yourself: Okay, this is what I see that I'm doing that's causing a problem.

You say your thing, and I just for some reason would just wanna say something opposite.

Even though I don't feel that way and I'm gonna stop doing that and I'm gonna pray about that.

I'm gonna quit responding to you that way.

Then you get your spouse apprehensive say "Yeah" and once you do that man, I dig in too.

And so then, I'm just mad at you and then just wanna win and those kind of things.

And so then you begin to work as a team which we talk about so much.

And the problem become something it's in front of you that you're working on together.

And you begin solving it together.

HOW YOU CAN BE HAPPY AND DO WHAT YOU WANT - a small guide - Duration: 4:33.

Have you ever wanted to do something in your life that everyone said you couldn't do?

Traveling to LA

Day one of Gamescom

Paris Games Week, Welcome

chapter 1: the year that changed my life

How many times do we put barriers between ourselves and what makes us happy

just because others keep saying that we can't do it

Nobody belives in you

Your Family, your friends, everyone keeps saying that

What you want to do is a waste of time

because we can't do what we want

and because of this constant "NO"

we reach a moment in our lives where we just want to say

"f**k it"

There's this trigger inside of us that's being squeezed harder and harder

until it reaches its maximum pressure point

eventually something breaks

you're deaf

you're blind, you're confused and then

nothing

you've reached your limit, you stopped caring

about what others have to say and this is the moment when you become truly free

and this is me, expressing myself, okay?

"If you could be anyone, would you choose to be yourself?" - Naomi Shihab Nye

think of all the things you ever wanted to do. Your goals

think of how you could achieve them. Your plans.

You got Plan A? Good.

You got Plan B? Good.

Now all you have to do... is go through a lot of fu**ing work

Chapter 2: make a plan and stick to it

I'm here. All of my dreams and aspirations are here. And the only thing in between these two

is a bunch of work. So tackling that work is a way of moving this needle.

Wake up early, go to bed late, have your goal in front of you and keep on the path

embrace any opportunity, open your mind, don't limit yourself, try anything and

everything

Chapter 3: anything & everything

You're Tarzan, you're here.

And you want to get to the other side of the jungle, here.

Ideally there's this straight line. It doesn't exist. Instead you reach and you

grab on to whatever vine you can grab on to, and you swing.

And that vine might carry you in this direction. Which doesn't feel like the right direction of your goal.

But it does get you a little bit closer, and eventually you make it to where you wanna be.

Chapter 4: swinging vines

Others will start taking notice. Things might start looking up.

You will get to meet like-minded people. You will get to experience new things.

You will get to visit new places where you will get to meet more

like-minded people. Positivity will start spreading through you and eventually

you will start spreading into others.

This is just one of those days I guess.

But the beauty of the Tarzan method, the magic of being open-minded in your pursuit

is that like these unknowns that's usually where you find something that,

is actually what your goals are.

Learn by doing, make rash decisions,

Take risks, assume the consequences.

Find your limits, know your strengths, live with your weaknesses.

Accept who you truly are.

Learn to love yourself.

Know your worth, so you may know what you deserve

Once you know all of this others will appreciate you for it

for being genuine, for being yourself

And the ones who don't. Well...

You don't care about them.

Bi**hes today don't know the style. You gotta represent B..

You might even get to meet that special someone.

You will complete each other and make each other better.

You will understand each other's faults and what makes them who they are,

what makes them unique

you'll love them for it and you'll get to share passions

share love, share work

share fun, share experience, share achievements, share failures

share everything.

But don't forget.

The adventure doesn't end. The clock never stops ticking

so don't waste your time. It's the only thing you're never getting back.

Now you know that without the sketch of a plan you will never get anything done.

So start off each day by trying your best and at the end of the day

you can be satisfied with yourself.

Now you know that because you can be yourself, you are truly happy.

I am truly happy!

And all I had to do...

was squeeze that trigger.
