my topic this morning is entitled "It is not over, don't give up"
it is not over whatever the situation is whatever however it looks God is saying
to his people don't give up because it's not over, God, the Almighty God gave me a
word to give to His people, His people, you, that are sitting here and you that
are watching he gave me a message this morning to tell you that it's not over
and because it's not over don't give up we are approaching the end of year and
we are going into a new year, this season is a very sad time for a lot of people
it is a time that everybody is celebrating the benefit and the goodness
not so much of God but the goodness of circumstances the goodness of blessings
all around many people don't even take the time to focus in the meaning of the
season and they get caught up in celebrating and so is a time where if
things around us is not so good things around us is not so as we would want to
live a fulfilled life we then becomes discouraged become this depress
some people they dread the very time of the year end of of Christmas because
it's a time where there is sadness, everybody is celebrating but what is it for me to
celebrate? what is it for me to celebrate is a time of reminisce about pain and
and circumstances of the year what I've gone through, 2017 the very end year is a
time where we will question and believe that it's all over because it's the end
of the year I was expecting I was believing God for a brake shoe I was
hoping that somehow this year would find me out of the many predicaments that
have gone shoe for so many years it's like I've been going around a circle in
the wilderness for so many years and I was just hoping and that this year would
find me change may be a time of change I was open
I was really believing that things would turn around and I'm actually at the end
of the year and nothing is turning around so I might just come to the
conclusion that everything is over it is all over
people have prophesy in my life and told me many things things are gonna change
things are gonna come true I have even believed God for myself and
I and I thought that yes this is my year, this is my year for a blessing this is
my year for a turnaround but the year is almost done and where is the blessing?
where is the deliverance? where is a healing? where is the change? we were
expecting a house this year and for some reason it doesn't look possible
it doesn't look possible I have been employed unemployed for for so many
years for so long and this year I was truly hoping that I would get a breakthrough
that I will get a job, maybe it's not a house maybe it's not a job but there's
something that you're believing for there's something that's a change that
somebody is believing for are our trust in our hope in that it will come out of
but the year is almost over and doesn't look like
if there's any more hope it doesn't look as if anything that I happen I'm still
I'm still sick some of us we've gotten report from the doctor the doctor told
us that it doesn't look good it's gloom there's a condition that that will
change your whole life because it looks hopeless, the doctor
report the doctor report, there doesn't seems to be any breakthrough night doesn't
seems as if it's gonna end, no light, no light, no light, no light, I don't know if
I'm talking to people that can be truthful you are going through something
you have been going through something and maybe if it's not you somebody you
know I'm going through something and you're believing for them you're
trusting for them you have prayed for them and believe in God believe in God
but where is God? I am tired of the mediocre I am tired of living from
paycheck to paycheck um I'm just so tired and I don't know what else
Church I'm here to let you know that as long as God is on your side it is not
over I don't know what it is I don't know what you're going through but God
stopped by this afternoon to tell you that as long as he's on your side it s
is not all over hold on, hold on change is coming oh yes it's coming he's
already fix it for you did you know that and that is in the spiritual realm and
he's also working things out for you even now even though you cannot see it
it is gonna manifest oh yes the process is on its way let's just now examine the
process and how dark situations has its way to turn itself
out and so Genesis chapter 1 it tells you verse 15
despite the hopelessness God had a plan despite the hopelessness of humanity God had
a plan, what does that plan says? here in verse 15 the promise the blessing the
life that we were to live everything was lost all hope now is lost but God shows
mercy shows His love, shows His ultimately love, provided a
solution it's not over it's not over church I am making a point to what
you're going through that everything that you're going
through is because of the original condition of mankind fall, God provided a
means and what I wanted to look at is that how long how many years the plan
took but God was sure it was sure even though the plan took so many years God
plan was sure see God have given us great blessings but all was stolen and
everything was stolen God promised restoration we are told in Genesis that
the seed of the woman would bruise the head of the serpent this is restoration
this is a very season that we are living in the season where the head of the
serpent will bruise the seed of the woman would bruise the head of the
serpent and that seed church who it is it is none other than Jesus Christ we're
the season of restoration we are celebrating
season glory to God and so even though God said he would send the seed we look
out through scripture and we saw how many obstacle that was in the way for these
for the seed and so many times we could have said everything is over and so Adam
and Eve and Cain and Abel and the seed was supposed to come through Abel but Abel
destroy, but Cain destroyed Abel he killed Abel see it was a enemy working in the
whole process the enemy wants to destroy the seed and everybody would think that
our hope was gone but when God when the enemy is working against your situation
God has already have a plan and so even though God was the enemy was working
through Cain and killed Abel and all hope seems to be going to go on God had
another plan and the plan was that Eve had another son and the son was Seth
and through Seth we learn in the scripture that a linage goes down to Noah look at
now at a time it seems like a hopeless time all the abomination all the flood
the flood destroyed everything the enemy was really active want to
destroy the seed but God override and through Noah it goes down to Abraham the
line age go down to Abraham and Abraham now we all know the story of Abraham was
old was a hundred years old and a barren wife a wife that was not able to
conceive at, I think, 99 or close to that
99 I'm I think was a hundred and Sarah was 99 years old it was an
impossible situation here and God promised that the seed would come true
such a impossibility through that line age now in human understanding that's not
possible how can I've been barren for so many years
a hopeless time and conceive and have a child and so they could not comprehend
that so Sarah thought, well, let me help God and so they plan to help God
thinking that the seed now the promised seed will come through Ishmael and so they
borrow the servant to conceive agar I believe agar but that was not God's
promise how many of us try to help God to the impossible situation God is
saying listen it's not over but because you can't see it you feel that okay I
can't see it so I'm gonna try my way and I'm gonna help God God don't need your
help, God is God, God all by himself, so they helped God
and God said no that's not the one it's not through that, it is through your barren
womb, some of us our situation is barring, some of us our situation is
hopeless but God said it doesn't matter the hopelessness I am God and I'm gonna do a
miracle through your situation oh yes and we see through Sarah
God did a impossible work she conceived and Isaac came through that impossible
situation the promise the promise the promise and we learn in scripture that
it goes down to the line age through the lion of judah and we thought
that is it but God still, still, he's working in the process and from the lineage
of Judah we go down through the lion of David and the last lineage
that I'm gonna leave you here we have the Messiah the promised seed where
jesus of nazareth came and we know this is a season we're celebrating Jesus and
the Bible says that Mary bring forth a son the promised seed all the way from
Genesis all the way through the lineage of David and he came oh
glory to God and the Bible says everywhere he went he was doing good I'm
talking about Jesus they they strip him they they beat him they reject him they
spit on him they do all kind of things to him
they laughed on him they scorned him Oh glory to God but his path led him to
Calvary come on church we are talking about the promised seed here, his path led
him to Calvary her withered stretch him wide
they hang him high they crucified Him glory to God now all hope seems to almost
gone he was on that cross and then they they crucified him and it was dead, dead
your promise seems to be dead your promise seems to be hopeless they buried him in
the grave understand some situation it has to go in the grave before it can
germinate and come back up your situation is not hopeless your situation
is not hopeless it looks hopeless but it's not over until
it's over Oh glory to God I minister to somebody
this morning you have a situation it looks better it looks hopeless
but like Jesus they crucified him buried him it was dead Oh glory to God, according to
mankind all hope now it's gone oh my God they must be having a party in hell
celebrated his defeat celebrated his defeat it's over it's over it's over
it's over it's over glory to God glory to God all darkness was upon the face of
the earth it was dark it was dark your situation is dark it was it is dark
it look dark, Satan, Satan, he doesn't know what he is doing he doesn't know what
he's doing he think that he have us he think that everything is done they're
laughing at some of us they're looking and even the church and say oh she's not
amount to anything it looks dead it looks hopeless, your
situation may look hopeless but I'm here to tell you if God is on my side er is
not dead until it's dead and so Jesus was in the grave and that
they thought he was dead but on the third day glory to God
He rose triumphant!
he rose triumphant the promise is on its way the premises on its way
don't give up don't give up it doesn't matter how bad the situation looks don't
give up your best is yet to come it's beyond your effort now but your
service Saviour that is able to change your situation is the only God he's the
only mighty and loving God that is able to change your situation he's working
out things for your good God has brought you this far he's been about to
leave you now he's gonna come out and gonna make a way out of escape for you
you don't know you can't see it but you serve a mighty God that is able to do
mighty things Oh hallelujah if God said it you can count on it, it doesn't matter
how it looks it doesn't matter how long it seems his promises are sure you have
tried and failed but your inability is God's opportunity the situation is
impossible in human understanding but possible with God
all things church is possible with God don't look at your situation look on God
that is able to resurrect every dead situation and bring it back to life look
at God that is able to resurrect like he resurrected Lazarus that was dead for
so many days and everybody think it was all over
Mary they were crying and all weeping if you had come he would not have died
but God is a God that is able to resurrect and every dead situation is
there anything too hard for God to do no there is nothing that is God is too hard
for God to do God is about to bring favor in your situation
see it takes favor to take you from the pit to the palace
it's not about favor it's not about your abilities or about your education it's
all about the favor of God the favor of God can change every situation with
whitchcraft might even block your progress Zuzu might be able
to close you up and put a padlock on your blessing but if God ever seeing it
God can override any Zuzu God can override any Voodo, God can
override any witchcraft because God is Almighty Oh glory to God
he's a mightiness oh God like him Oh hallelujah, we give you thanks oh mighty God
see what you don't understand is that God blessing that favor it's beyond your
ability God favor is beyond five years salary all the work that you work for
five years God favor is beyond that God can create a blessing that will bless
you bless you and blow your minds a lot of people they commit suicide and do
all kind of things because they look on life and they feel that everything is
over but it's not over until it's over and if some of these people who have
commit suicide and giving up and giving up on their dreams giving up on their
hope giving up on their life if only they waited a little longer they will see
what God can do, he's working it out but you can't see it and some of them
they're they've died and in the grave the grave without accomplishing a great
and mighty destiny because they could not they could not I've seen it
what if you could what if you can see your next week maybe you your yesterday
was not so good maybe your today look gloom but can you see your future can
you can you see your future what if you see what if God opened up your your eyes
and you see and you could see in the future some of us we are where we are
destined to greatness we're destined to great things but
because we can only see we can't we are only looking at our or current situation
we are discouraged you are about to break through to something awesome don't
give up change is coming your way Church it's not over despite the fact that
situation has way situation let me just situation has its way to work itself out
it does when you're in Christ even when you are not in Christ things usually
have its way to work itself out it's the law its laws just like night night will
be dark at the moment but night have a way to turn into daylight your situation
is gonna turn into daylight because thing has a way to work itself out you
don't know but it does have its way a way to work itself out
see for me mostly when I'm about to go over the cliff if you know what I mean I
try everything everything that I possible thought that I can try and my
strength my ability it fails no more resources nobody can help me
no doctor can help me I'm talking about my experience in a nutshell situation
that have been through no doctor can can help me things are hopeless it looks as
if it's dead I've been in to situations before we're it's so gloom so dark many
situation I shared many times how even in the process of my life where we
worked we have good jobs and at one point I lost my job my husband lost our
jobs lost his job also and we have nothing no food for kids right in this
country nothing to eat nothing to give to our children
we have no resources no funds nothing at one point not now at one point in our
lives we have a mortgage and many months passed and no money to pay our mortgage
we try every source possible knock every door every door close the bank put the
lock on the door ready to repossess talking about some dark situation that
we have been true no food you know it is when you're hungry and you have nothing
to eat how it feels Oh glory to God I said God what do I do
I have situation when my son was so sick that doctor given up on him I
testified before and they said I can't help you no more nothing I can do we can't do
anything and about now everything's moved from me what do i do now?
just my illustration of the clift only thing to do is to jump over and let
me tell you those are the moments that God comes through for me I don't know about
you but those are the moments that God created miracle in my situation and make
a way out of my escape I'm still in my home my son is still well because of the
God that I serve I am testifying about God that God is
able to change every dark situation I don't care how it looks I don't care how
hard it looks see this sign here, beyond what medicine and science can offer
glory to God, this ministry is all about faith when doctor have given up you to
die when doctor have giving up a certain situation God now is able to intervene
because He is God and He is God all alone and he can do
what no other power can do, he can do the impossible in your life God is awesome
can you just stand with me he's awesome doesn't matter the situation change is
coming we serve a mighty we serve a God that is able to do more than we can
possible do.
