'For God So Loved'

well, this song was written by me and my good friend

Guilherme Massone

he had an idea of the song

he sent it to me and

I just fell in love

I fell in love with the message

which is John 3:16 that says:

'For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only

begotten Son,

that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.'

and he sent me his idea, he already had an idea planned out

and I went and did some things, I added some parts

took some parts out, I added the bridge, the second verse

we just moulded it into what

what I would say perfect

like, he put his experiences in there, I put my thoughts in there

and together this came out

this amazing song

like the title says it talks about John 3:16

the famous verse in the bible

the bible verse that everyone learns when they're younger

but it talks about it in more depth

in more depth, in more clarity

and it just says 'if you don't know this God, you have to know him'

cause he loves you

and he wants to be with you

and he has so much to show you

that you don't even know

and he's name above all names

like the bridge says 'he's name above all names'

he is God

he is Jesus

so yeah, this song is one of my favourites

this song and the other English song are one of my favourites

of the CD

and the feedback that I got from it is so good

I'm so happy that people felt

the Holy Spirit while hearing it

and I hope that when they speak these words,

when they sing this song

people can feel God's love for them as well

so yeah, 'For God So Loved' is a really special song.

American English Intonation: That Was So Funny! - Duration: 2:24.

"That was so funny."

When we use adverbs, we need to emphasize them, "That was so funny."

You want to really put your enthusiasm into that.

Otherwise, why are you saying that?

Listen carefully to how I emphasize the word "so" and the word "funny."

"That was sooo funny," [Dah, da-da.

Dah, da-da.]

I hold that word "so" I make it long, I make it louder, I make it higher in pitch and I

stay right there for the word funny.

"That was sooo funny."

"I'm sooo hungry."

"I'm sooo tired."

"I'm sooo happy."

You have to lengthen those adverbs and you have to lengthen that focus word, use your

intonation.

Think about being enthusiastic.

I think that when you use enthusiasm, you automatically can use more intonation in your

voice.

"That was sooo funny."

why are moms so competitive?

When I was a new mom 13 years ago,

I went to a moms' group at a local retail store.

I instantly felt out of place.

I used cloth diapers.

I didn't use pacifiers or bottles.

I didn't have fancy clothes and neither did my baby.

I didn't have a manicure.

I mean, I barely had time to shower.

How was I gonna have time to get a manicure?

There was a moderator at this moms' group,

and her job was to field questions from the moms there.

Why does my baby wanna be held so much?

How can I get a three week old to sleep through the night?

Which brand of baby shampoo smells best?

As for me, I assumed my baby wanted to be held so much

because it was a human mammal baby,

I didn't want my three week old to sleep through the night,

and I made my own shampoo from Dr. Bronner's soap

and essential oils.

Women at this moms' group were encouraged

to brag about how fast their labor was,

how precocious their babies were with pooping,

rolling over, sitting up, smiling.

I overheard one woman bragging to another mom

about how fast her milk came down

after the baby latched onto her breast.

Everything was a competition.

These were not my people.

I left in tears.

And the only moms' group I ever went to again

was a breastfeeding support group

through La Leche League International.

I never went to any other such moms' group ever again.

What I witnessed at this moms' group

is something that's not unusual at all.

I would say that it's the norm, not only for moms' groups.

It's a pattern of mothering and being

which I've noticed is steadily increasing

in my lifetime as a mom and as an empowered woman.

Moms are so competitive.

Why is that?

Is it because we're just catty and combative by nature?

Is it because we're bored

and we have nothing better to do?

Is it some evolutionary drive

to be the best and leave behind those

who aren't made for survival the way we are

for the betterment of the species?

I've got a theory.

I think the competition comes about

because we are the first generation of woman

who were raised after the revolutionary turmoil

of the women's movement, and we're the first generation

who was constitutionally raised to believe

that we can and should do it all.

My mom was not raised in a time

when she was taught to believe she could do it all,

but she raised me to believe that I could.

And I believed her.

And I've done a lot of things in my life

that I'm super proud of.

But being raised this way actually prepares us best

to compete in the workplace,

to show them, whoever they are,

that we are not to be messed with or doubted.

We can do it all.

And so when this generation became mothers

and removed ourselves from the career world,

we took that competitive drive

and we seem to have superimposed it on our lives as mothers.

So it's not enough to be a mom.

You have to be the best mom.

And now we have to define what being the best even means.

Whose baby was born fastest?

Who suffered the most?

Whose baby breastfeeds best?

Whose baby gains weight the fastest?

Whose baby is prettiest?

Whose baby talked first, walked first,

learned the alphabet first?

And this continues as we have older children.

This notion of competition is so dominant for parents

that sometimes it seems that it's all they wanna talk about.

So how do we fix this?

Well, my fantasy would be

that we find more meaningful things to connect about

as a society and especially as moms.

So if I ask you, "What was your birth like?",

I'm not asking because I wanna be competitive about it.

I wanna know what it was like for you.

Were you scared?

What did it feel like?

What did it bring up for you?

How did you prepare for labor?

What was I like when you held your baby for the first time?

How did your partner react?

What was your recovery like?

That's what I mean when I say, "What was your birth like?"

And if you ask someone, "Did you breastfeed?",

it shouldn't be assumed that you're asking

because you wanna pass judgment on them.

It should be because you sincerely wanna know

how did you choose to feed your baby,

and what was that like?

If you breastfed, did you enjoy that experience?

How did it feel?

Did you struggle to breastfeed?

And did you find someone who could help you through it?

If you chose not to breastfeed, what was that decision like,

and what did it mean to you?

What if we could connect more deeply with each other

and use the information that we get from each other

to enrich our experiences and strengthen our bonds?

What if we could truly support each other,

and not just with lip service,

not just by saying, "Whatever you do, who am I to judge?

"It's your life.

"I don't have an opinion about it,"

but rather what if we supported each other

because we're actually listening to each other

and empathizing with someone else without judgment?

What if we could share what worked for us

as a way to honestly add to someone's life experience?

Let's get back to a model of camaraderie

that reduces competition, fosters friendship and empathy,

and increases the success of a society

that is built on the foundational principles

of woman to woman support,

which has sustained our species for so long so well.

We can only do this together.

2017 Mercedes AMG C43 Coupe is a Not So Smooth Operator (Review) - Duration: 6:50.

2017 Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe is a not-so-smooth operator.

THE GOOD.

The C43 Coupe looks just aggressive enough, and its turbocharged V6 will never stop being

fun.

THE BAD.

The ride is never not harsh, leading to an uncomfortable experience on less-than-ideal

road surfaces.

The infotainment system feels old, too.

THE BOTTOM LINE.

The Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe is absolutely worthy of the AMG badge it wears, but you'll want

to keep a chiropractor on call.

I wasn't the first person to jump up with excitement when Mercedes-AMG announced that

it would be incorporating a second, lower tier of performance vehicles.

AMGs, to me, have always stood as wild variants of otherwise-sedate luxury cars with immensely

powerful engines.

When AMG announced the -43 lineup, packing turbocharged V6 engines, I clutched every

pearl I could get my hands on.

But then I drove one, and I grew out of that phase.

While they may not pack the same outlandish sound and feel as the -63 lineup, the AMG

-43s are still boatloads of fun, offering just-crazy-enough performance with similar

trimmings at a lower price point.

Sounds good on paper, and feels good in meatspace.

Aggressive, but not trying too hard.

Just as the C43 is a mid-tier AMG, its aesthetics are slightly aggressive, but not overly so.

Compared to a standard C300 Coupe, the C43 has angrier front and rear bumpers, black

mirror caps and black window surrounds.

Our tester had the $200 Night Package, which blacks out the front wing, rear diffuser insert

and tailpipes, too, which was a nice touch for not a lot of dough.

Our tester also carried an excellent shade of white paint -- Designo Diamond White -- but

it comes with a $1,515 premium.

For white paint that's only slightly different than the free white paint.

Hustle worthy of the badge, but the ride.

The real gem of this car is its engine -- a 3.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V6 putting down

362 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque.

All-wheel drive is standard, as is a nine-speed automatic.

All three of these components work together in harmony, providing more than ample traction

as the V6 grunts and snorts its way down the street, flicking through the gears smoothly

enough as to be nearly imperceptible.

If you aren't going to row through the gears yourself with the shift paddles, leaving the

transmission in Comfort mode is probably best, unless you like unnecessarily high revs at

commuting speeds -- Sport is okay, but Sport+ holds revs for far too long in normal driving

situations.

Hit-or-miss tech.

Mercedes-Benz has a wide variety of technical gadgetry, and your experience will largely

depend upon how much money you feel like throwing at your dealer.

Our tester had what I would consider the middle ground of tech.

The optional $2,650 Premium 2 package gives the C43 SiriusXM-based traffic and weather,

a touch-capable infotainment controller, power folding mirrors, an electronically operated

trunk and ambient lighting.

If safety systems are your hang, you'll have to shell out $5,550(!) for the Premium 3 package,

which adds adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist and all that good stuff.

How I'd spec it.

The C43 Coupe starts at $55,900, but you probably won't stop there.

Nor should you, if you want your car loaded with some degree of creature comforts.

And I'm a weirdo, so my personal C43 carries some extra frippery that I feel enhances the

experience.

I opted for $720 Dakota Brown paint, saving a bit of money over the more expensive Designo

Diamond White our tester had.

I'd stick with the aesthetically pleasing $200 AMG Night Package, too.

Inside, a $325 black ash wood trim upgrade gets rid of the annoying-to-me gloss black

trim.

I'd also replace the red seatbelts with black ones, because red is too flashy for me.

Down to brass tacks.

The C43 is a mid-tier sports coupe, and thus, only really competes against automakers who

created similar offerings.

It's perhaps closest to the Audi S5 coupe, which is a little cheaper at $54,600.

The S5 has more power but less torque, and it also comes standard with automatic braking.

It's more efficient in both city and highway driving, too.

Its other chief competitor is the Infiniti Q60.

Opt for the top-tier Red Sport 400 trim, and you get a 400-horsepower V6 and all-wheel

drive for a starting price of $54,000.

It's nearly equal in terms of fuel economy, but it falls short of the Mercedes when it

comes to interior quality and infotainment.

Kim So Hyun, Yoon Doojoon, Kwak Dong Yeon, And More Gather For Script Reading Of "Radio Romance"

The cast and crew of KBS 2TVs upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama Radio Romance gathered at KBS on December 19 for the script reading of the drama.

Director Kim Shin Il, writer Jun Yoo Ri, actors Yoon Doojoon of Highlight, Kim So Hyun, Girls Days Yura, Ha Joon, Kwak Dong Yeon, Lee Eui Woong, and more participated in the table read.

Before the reading began, the director of the drama department gave an encouraging statement to the cast and crew. On behalf of the actors, lead Yoon Doojoon said, I think it is fate that we are all working together.

I hope we can finish the drama smiling and work hard until the end as a radio family. Lead Kim So Hyun also stated, This is my first dramas since I became a 20-year-old adult, so I will work really hard..

Radio Romance is about top actor Ji Su Ho (Yoon Doojoon) who cant do anything without a script, radio scriptwriter Song Geu Rim (Kim So Hyun) who casts him as the DJ, and all of the unexpected events that happen at a radio station.

Yoon Doojoon used precise acting to portray the duality of Ji Su Ho, whose life on and off-camera is scripted. He is always polite and friendly to others, but is actually cranky, cynical, and socially awkward in real life.

Kim So Hyun used her years of her acting experience to breathe life into her character who is lovely and strong at the same time.

Other characters on Radio Romance include a daring actress dreaming of a comeback named Jin Tae Ri (Yura), Ji Su Hos manager Kim Joon Woo (Ha Joon) who fights to get roles for his actor, and Ji Su Hos best friend and handsome psychiatrist Jason (Kwak Dong Yeon).

A source from the staff said, It was a script reading where warm emotions came to life with the script, directing from director Kim Shin Il, and the actors enthusiastic performances.
