Youtube daily google Jan 3 2018

what's good it's your boy Jouvan Johnson from MarketingWithJouvan.com

where I aim to inspire and give you the proven strategies to live a life

of fun and freedom via the internet on today's episode we're going to look at

seven ways of how you can make money on Google Play and if you stay to the end

of the video I'll show you exactly how you can start your very own internet

business today with zero investment stay tuned

number one if you have an app business or you're developing a game the number

one way that you can monetize your app is very obvious is ads we've all played

a game on our mobile phone and then an ad comes up obviously if people are

clicking those ads the app developer makes money

number two is sponsorship's this one works slightly differently to ads it's

where you might go out and create a deal with a company to say that you want to

display their business to your user base on your app and they'll pay you maybe a

monthly retainer or per specific amount of views or users so go out reach your

company and say our audience is perfect for your business and we'd love for you

to sponsor our app and you'll be able to get a new audience of this many people

number three is affiliate income affiliate income is basically where you

drive sales for another business and they pay you Commission for sending

people there to purchase now Amazon have one of the biggest affiliate programs in

the world that you can sign up to for free say you have an app around

basketball for instance and you link out to Amazon via your affiliate link to a

basketball related product when some when that person clicks and goes to Amazon

and purchase and even they purchase other products as well Amazon will pay

you a commission of that sale number four is product sales if you have a

strong brand for your app you can brand t-shirts maybe hats and sell them via

your own app you can use services like Printful and others I can't think of any off

the top of my head right now but services like Printful where you can

get your own t-shirts printed hats printed bags printed with the logo of

your app and then link out to a store for people to purchase your own products

via your app number five is in-app purchases we've all been playing a game

and you've either died too much or you want a better a gun or a better car and

within the app itself you can purchase gems or money and so you can upgrade

your car upgrade your gun so that is in-app purchases to get better results

within the game or app that you're currently using

number six is very simple paid apps so you can have an app that is charged

up front straight away or you can follow something which people call the freemium

method where people can come in and test out the app try certain features for

free but if they want the full app and to get the best capabilities from that

app then they have to pay to get upgraded to the full app so that's the

freemium method and or you can just use paid upfront straightaway for your app

number seven is very simply subscription based apps that is where you charge

people a monthly fee to use your apps each and every month so we've just gone

over seven ways of how you can make money with Google Play but the problem

is if you can't create apps it can be very difficult and it's a massive

learning curve so what I've done is put together a five step process of how you

can get started with your very own internet business with zero investment

today and you can find that in the description below now if you like this

video like it if you think a friend would like it share it if you have any

questions comment below have you started have you tried your own

app business before have you tried an online business before let me know in the

comment section below and don't forget subscribe and hit that Bell so you can

Google's Take On Design - Duration: 1:09.

With the recent change, you'd maybe agree;About Google's take; on their design philosophy.

It's dubbed: Material Design A Visual language that helps the UI -

That meant screens weren't locations to load information, But rather a way to see actions with less frustrations.

And that thinking's a gateway to minimalism, Except here - it acts like a living organism;

With its structure and rules For a 2d screen, that was the key: paperlike layers, applied dimensionality

no big surprise It's a design exercise: Conceived with real paper

Thus: cant fold, but cuttable, without blending in, And the added shadows, made to be thin.

Color use guiding the eye - with added complementation And precomposed color palettes for a connected sensation.

Contrast helped small text look nice, But with that added problem, language stayed concise.

That's what good design does:

It stays concise, with clear usability

JBL Link 500 - Is It Better Than The Google Home Max?? - Duration: 7:17.

When the google home max was released, JBL quietly released their JBL Link 500 smart

speaker.

And basically the Link 500 does the same thing as the google home Max, its a smart speaker

thats all about sound.

So if you're thinking about getting a powerful smart speaker for your home are you better

off with Google's offering or something from a third party?

Lets find out.

JBL's link series line up now consists of 4 different speakers.

Theres the Link 10 and Link 20 which are kind of like voice assistant enabled JBL Flip 4's

which also have built in batteries, and theres the link 300 and link 500 which don't have

built in batteries.

And just like the Google home Max, the Link 500 currently costs $400.

But I wouldn't be surprised if it goes on a sale here and there.

Design wise, the JBL link 500 is slightly larger than the google home max.

It also has the same fabric outer shell thats pretty synonymous with other JBL speakers

and it comes in two colors, black or white.

Unlike the Google Home Max which has a touch sensitive touch bar on the top which only

allows you to adjust your volume and play and pause your music, the Link 500 has a few

more buttons on the top and allow you to do a little more than the max.

More importantly, it has a dedicated button so you can activate google assistant, something

that I don't understand why the max dosnt have.

And if you double press the play pause button you can skip a track directly from the speaker.

Something that again the max cant do, even though its pretty simple.

The Link 500 also has a dedicated bluetooth pairing button which does come in handy if

the Link 500 isn't connected to wifi and if you want to use a bluetooth connection

instead.

And finally theres a mic mute button.

On the front of the speaker you will also find the white led notification lights that

light up when google is listening to you just like the Max.

And on the bottom you will also find a wifi indicator light, and like I mentioned in my

link 10 and link 20 video, I feel this light is completely unnecessary… unless theres

a problem with the wifi connection theres no need to constantly keep this light on.

Even the google home max doesn't have this useless and annoying light.

Another thing I also don't like about the Link 500 is the lack of ports.

Theres no Aux jack and theres no USB type c port like the max.

For me it would have been a no brainer to include these ports on the Link 500.

And something I really want to point out is the weight differences.

The Link 500 weighs in at 7.7 ponds while the Google Home Max weighs in at 12 pounds.

But aside that, google assistant performance on the Link 500 is just as accurate and as

fast as any other google home speaker.

The Link 500 picks up your voice up from various distances just as well and inquiries are processed

just as fast.

Ok, now

lets talk about what really matters, sound.

You may know by know that the google home max is rocking dual 4.5 inch woofers and dual

.7 inch tweeters.

Where as the JBL Link 500 has dual 3.5 inch woofers, dual .8 inch tweeters and it has

an exposed passive radiator on the back that really moves when the bass really gets going.

First off, the google home max gets slightly louder than the jbl link 500 at max volume.

But only by a few decibels.

At max volume both of these speakers live in the low 80's decibel range and they both

suffer relatively the same amount of distortion.

So if loudness is your main priority then both of these speakers perform relatively

the same.

When it come to sound quality, like I've said in past videos… the max has a V shaped

sound signature.

Theres a lot of emphasis on the bass and the highs but the vocals and mids are a little

pushed back.

Where as the link 500 has an even sound signature but with an emphasis on the vocals.

It also has a good amount of bass, but the bass is not as punchy as the max and lows

don't resonate as much as the max either.

Although both of these speakers do sound really good, the sound on the max is much fuller.

You can literally feel the music with the max and as a result its more fun to listen

to.

But the google home max is definitely geared towards people how listen to pop, hip hop,

dance, R&B, or rap with its strong emphasis on the bass.

If you're somebody that loves bass then the max is great, but if you're someone

who likes a flatter sound signature then you'll be better off with the Link 500.

But if you're building out a smart home with google assistant in mind it is a great

thing to have options when it comes to hardware.

But keep in mind, 3rd party hardware might mean delays when it comes to the newest features.

First off, with JBL smart speakers you cant make phone calls like you would with either

of the google home smart speakers.

You also cant use the broadcast feature.

And the JBL link 500 also doesn't allow you to adjust the EQ like you can on the Max.

Hopefully JBL smart speakers and all other 3rd party google assistant smart speakers

will add new google home features shortly after google releases them, because I would

hate to see the same type of fragmentation android suffered when it was first released.

Although I do like the JBL link 10 and Link 20 because they sound much better than the

google home, if you're trying to decided between the Google Home Max and JBL Link 500

it think youre much better off with the Google Home Max unless you're not a fan of the

v shaped sound signature it has to offer.

I Personally think it looks better than the JBL link 500 and using Google's own hardware

means you'll have access to the newest features as soon as they drop.

But like I said in my initial review, I would like to see google add some extra tap functionally

to the max so you can control your music playback and tap to activate google assistant.

Is that so much to ask for?

Meet Quantitative Analysts at Google - Duration: 2:18.

My name is Rajeev Menjoge and I am a quantitative analyst. My name is Elizabeth

Tucker and I'm a quantitative analyst. Quantitative analysts are involved in a

lot of things at Google, working with teams like Search, Ads, YouTube, Geo. We're

often working with really really complicated systems and we're trying to

understand how products are doing, where they're doing well, where they're not doing well,

and what can be done to make them better. I'd say about 40% of the time I'm doing some

kind of coding—I'm implementing some algorithm I developed—30% of the time

I'm in meetings brainstorming and so on, and the rest of the time is kind of

split between either exploring and sanity checking data, or coming up with

algorithms. I started working here because I was really interested in

Search and the problems in Search, and I continue to find that fascinating to

this day. We have a variety of backgrounds, and in fact we deliberately

hire from a variety of backgrounds. My background is theoretical math actually,

not statistics. We deliberately seek different perspectives because Google is

an international company and we look at analysis in over 100 languages and so

having a diverse perspective as possible is a wonderful thing.

As a quantitative analyst, the impact that you have is amplified just by the

scale of Google, by the number of people that are using Google products. When I

look at Google search results, I do feel proud of the influence I've

had. I often though find myself critical and thinking how much farther we have to go.

Being a quantitative analyst is like

being a lifelong student of statistics. We try to make sure people are working

on problems they're passionate about, that way everyone's happy and analysts

produce great work. My teammates are very accomplished, they're very helpful.

It's not a matter of "let me do work so that I can do better than you." It's more "let me

do work so that I could help you and we're all on the same team."

Being a quantitative analyst at Google is so much fun.

If you're a data person, having huge amounts

of real data to play with, and also having an impact on the world around you,

is such an appealing combination.

5 Best Must have Free Google Apps for a Youtuber [Android + iOS] - Duration: 6:01.

Hi Everybody!

Welcome to another video by BestUnder.in and Today we Bring you the Best Must Have Free

Google Apps for a You tuber.

We noticed that a significant amount of our subscribers are budding You tubers and many

of them are using their smartphones as the only gadget.

Well in that case there are some free Official Google apps that we know, will help you in

your endeavor.

As these apps are in your smartphone hence you can use them on the go.

So without further ado, These are the Five Must have Free Google apps for a You tuber

First and foremost, as a you tuber you must have the YouTube Studio App also known as

the Creator Studio App.

This official tool from Google makes it easier for content creators to manage their YouTube

channels from their mobile devices.

The interface is simple, elegant and ideal for quickly moving between the menus without

getting stuck.

You can check out your latest stats, respond to comments, get notifications etc. on the

go.

This helps you stay connected and productive from anywhere.

With the newer version of this app you can now schedule posts directly from your smartphone

and also you can get your subscriber count right at the top of your dashboard.

In the coming months you will soon be able to use creator hearts and Pinned comments

directly via the app.

Even thought the YT studio app is a very useful tool but if you are not a You tuber then this

app doesn't serve you any purpose but for a You-tuber it's very essential.

Next App that you will need as a You tuber is the Google Adsense App.

If you're a content publisher then you maybe already familiar with this app.

But apart from monitoring your earnings this app provides a solid monitoring tool and mechanism

for Web content owners on the go.

By default, the app collects the data from websites associated with your Gmail account.

The home screen of the Google AdSense App provides a summary report of your earnings

including an estimate of the day's income.

You can instantly view data on your Android or iOS device from websites that you use Google

AdSense to manage.

As of today YouTube revenue and revenue from the legacy AdMob are not available in this

app but every 14th day the YouTube earnings do get added in the total adsense earnings

so that Adsense can send the total earning to you on every 21st.

If you want to check your daily YouTube earnings and other stats then head on to the YouTube

Studio App but to get paid from YouTube you need an adsense account and hence this app

is a must have.

Now you know where to see the earnings but if you want more deep stats then the next

app is what you will need, The Google Analytics App.

This App by Google helps you in monitoring your business on the go.

Basically it's purpose is to enable the users to check in on their website analytics but

you can get it to work for your YouTube channel also.

Just plug your analytics tracking code into your Youtube channel and you will get a whole

additional set of data that they don't provide you inside the YouTube Studio App.

This can end up being extremely valuable for your channel.

In addition to real-time and time-based reports, the app can be used to view behaviors, conversions,

user acquisition and more.

Basically Google Analytics App helps you measure the total effectiveness of your marketing

efforts.

Next App to assist you on the go is the Google Keep App.

Google Keep is a note-taking service developed by Google and a great way to track all your

lists, ideas or notes.

For example, say you are on an article on some website and an idea clicks in your mind

for a possible future video but you can only implement it some other time, then you can

take a note of it and set a reminder for some foreseeable future.

Or in other case say you stumble upon an image that you want to use some other time then

you can keep it in google Keep App.

So basically Keep offers you a variety of tools for taking notes, including text, lists,

images, and audio as well.

You can Quickly capture what's on your mind and get a reminder later at the right place

or time.

You can also speak a voice memo on the go and have it automatically transcribed.

All these reminders are integrated with Google Now.

Even Text from images can be extracted using optical character recognition.

Google Keep enables you to have universal device access via native integration with

other Google services, and the best thing is that it will work offline and sync with

your devices when you get a connection again.

It's a seriously fast and completely free alternative unlike its competitors.

Now you know the essential apps that google provides for you as a YouTube content creator.

But what about the editing department.

Well in that case we have the Snapseed App.

A perfect app for your Thumbnails or channel Art.

This image editor allows you to use dozens of different attractive effects on your favorite

photos from the screen of your Android or iOS device with just a few swipes of your

finger.

The program is very easy to use because the only thing you will have to do is to select

the type of effect that you want to apply from the toolbar on the left.

Then, once you are in the editor for that effect, you simply adjust it until you're

satisfied.

All edits are non-destructive that means If you don't like how your edits turned out to

be then you can undo the changes or go back to the original photo.

Rated as one of the Top 100 Best Android App of 2015 by PC Magazine, Snapseed gives you

more power over editing your photos on the go.

So these were the Five Best Must have Free Google Apps for a You tuber available on both

Android and iOS.

All the links for these apps have been given in the description down below.

Do check them out as they are a Must Have thing.
