what's going on guys it's Brian from BG meeting innovation and today I want to
bring you some great content if you're new to the channel
it's full of digital marketing tips ecommerce insights and really
step-by-step how-to content for any aspiring entrepreneur that wants to make

alright guys I'm just jumping right in and as you can see from the picture of
Tai Lopez right here today we are going to talk about social media marketing and
whether or not it's still alive and well in 2018 whether or not it's too
competitive or whether or not it actually is still a viable business
model and you can make a decent living doing it now I do want to preface this
by saying that I actually took tile opuses course I purchased it I think it
was at the end of 2016 it might have been September or November of 2016
skipped over October Wow could have been October who knows but yeah I bought I
bought his course for I think 997 at the time it was a phenomenal course I know
what he caught a lot of flack for it but he did actually teach a lot of viable
business methods for acquiring it you know not not sorry not for acquiring
clients but for actually what to do when you acquire clients now one of the the
criticisms that I do have the course was that he didn't actually teach you the
fundamentals of how to actually go ahead and acquire the clients at least in my
opinion it was kind of short on that type of information so where it was
strong were things like Facebook Ads and you know marketing techniques once you
acquire the client but where it did struggle is you know and basically was
strong and how to be a good social media marketer for your client where it did
struggle at least in my opinion is in the actual process of acquiring the
client how to do that and so it what what I did I learned a lot from the
course and it was great but I actually had to go through that anecdotal
experience because if you don't know anything about my past history with
social media marketing and I actually have an entire disclaimer on my I'm on
my website that says I started from social media marketing agency you can
see that here in my story that was one of the first business models that I
actually attempted along with dropshipping and obviously my
dropshipping blew up and I did extremely well with that and then obviously Amazon
private labeling and I got do a bunch of other business models as you can see
here I'm creating content now on you know creating courses I'm creating
YouTube videos because I genuinely love to teach other entrepreneurs so that
they can you know essentially accelerate the learning process and learn from the
mistakes that I've already made and that's a
exactly what I did with social media marketing now I learned everything from
his course that I spent nine ninety seven on and then I anecdotally figured
out through experience and trial and error what actually gets clients and
what does not so I'm here to bring that to you today
I'm here to tell you that you can still make a lot a lot a lot I'm telling you a
lot of money doing social media marketing in 2018 but you have to a you
know be okay with failure and it's something I talk about a lot in my
course which I'll say I'll speak on in a second and be understand that yes people
people complain that it might be too competitive now because they see you
know that I think it was like 20,000 people that were in his course or
something like that and other people are teaching that stuff too and and yes I
get the fact that a lot of people understand what social media marketing
is there's a lot of social media marketing agencies out there but I
promise you let's just this is a hypothetical number
that I'm literally pulling out of my ass but like if let's say twenty thousand
people are enrolled in his course one thing that I know about people is 90s
and I see this especially in the courses that I teach you can you might see
10,000 people enrolled in my course this is a great example of it that I'm gonna
speak on in a second my social media marketing agency course there's about
you know a little over nine thousand two hundred people in this course I know
personally that nine thousand two hundred people did not take full action
on what they learned in this course maybe only hunter did maybe only five
hundred max did I would be willing to bet that not that many of the people
that actually enrolled in Tai Lopez's course fully took action and if they did
take action they stopped when they hit their first failure and regardless of
the business model that you choose whether it's social media marketing
whether it's drop shipping whether it's private labeling whether it's anything
across the board you're gonna have to accept failure you're gonna have to be
okay with failing because that's how you learn that's how you get better and
that's how you'll eventually succeed we all know I love the cheesy quotes and
one of my favorite quotes among many others is Michael Jordan said you know I
have failed over and over and over again and that is why I succeed and that
couldn't be more true especially with social media marketing here so I I want

to start a social this can't speak how to start a successful social media
marketing agency course myself when I did that essentially what I did is I
added on I took a lot of the great stuff from his course put into my own words
and then I obviously adapted and it included some extra stuff in how you can
essentially acquire clients now there are a bunch of different ways you can
acquire clients I'm gonna give you three examples here that I talked about in the
course and I talked about a lot of them in depth and others so if you're looking

looking to get my course so that you can actually go through the process of you
know acquiring the clients and this is all anecdotal evidence that I take you
through myself when I was successful with it and the only reason I stopped
was because I was generally enjoying genuinely enjoying the stuff that I was
doing and I didn't really enjoy being a social media marketer that much and that
to me is important but it is very profitable is very lucrative compared to
the time that I spent and I want to give all that information to you for you know
a very very valuable price of 1099 so I'm just that's the only plug for this

you want I'm gonna take you through a couple examples of how you know just to
give you kind of expand your mind on how you can essentially acquire clients now
there are a bunch of email marketing techniques that I talked about in the
course on how you can blast out potential leads that you find you know
whether that's on Google whether that's on Bing there's a bunch of ways to do
that so that's the first one the second one essentially is just something that
I'll talk about here I literally I used to send out digital media audience
audience Wow I don't even know what that word means digital media audits to
specific companies it's very easy to do once you get the hang of it you can
simply bang out you know 10 to 20 a day literally shoot these two companies
across the board and you know provide them value and essentially all you're
doing is you're you're auditing their social media presence online you're
auditing their presence across the board online and telling them you know here's
a pat on the back for this but you might want to improve on this this is
something I go into in depth in my course on how you can perform these
already and go ahead and acquire clients it's very easy to do it will you know
some people will just completely ignore it some people will be impressed by it
and want to reach out to you and that's how you can potentially get clients
without going door to door but that's what this is the second method now the
third method and really the most important and you know successful method
in my opinion is going to door door to door still now a lot of people don't
want to do this and that's why a lot of people don't succeed you can certainly
find clients online through the techniques that I talked about in the
course that's that that's a given I actually found one of my clients and I
know other people that have done the same through digital audits it's not
difficult but if you want to acquire you know maybe five to ten clients that are
all paying you a thousand a month or maybe you know two clients that are
paying you 2,500 a month and then you know a couple other clients that are
paying you a thousand eventually you're gonna have to go door to door it's just
the name of the game if I were sitting here today telling you that you know you
had to go door-to-door to a hundred places to 500 places to a thousand
places that might scare you at first because that essentially means that you
could be facing you know a hundred nose a thousand nose something along those
lines but what if I told you you had to go door-to-door to hundred businesses
and and 99 of them were going to deny you but that last hundredth one was the
one that said yes would it be worth it to you you know if it took you a week to
do that would it be worth it to you if I told you you know you could be hat you
could have in a month from now ten clients that are paying you a thousand
bucks a month how much is that that's a hundred twenty grand a year correct but
the catch with that is you have to go door to door to a thousand companies and
you know nine hundred and nine 9 or sorry nine hundred and ninety of
them are going to say no to you and you're gonna have to face that
failure nine hundred and ninety times before you get those ten yeses
that's what I'm trying to talk about today going door to door and I literally
go through the process in my entire course on how you can be successful
doing that you have to get through the nose to get to the yeses it's really
that simple but to answer the question that I want
to talk about today yes social media marketing is still 100% viable in 2018
it's still a great business model it's still great method to make money and
it's still a great way that you can essentially you know increase your
income while still improving on what you actually love and do because if you
following this channel you obviously like marketing and you
obviously like making money online so I wanted to talk about that today just
briefly for you guys because I've been getting a lot of questions I actually
you know all my entire course I've been getting questions on udemy and I've been
getting questions through email on whether or not I feel like this is still
a viable business method because people are interested in potentially buying
this course because they see other courses that are you know like Tai Lopez
that are selling still for I think that's still selling for like 700 bucks
and other people's that are spelling for like 500 and mine is simply 10 bucks
that you can get on you to me so I'm not trying to plug the course anymore
obviously it's only 10 bucks but I just wanted to bring that insight
