hello guys welcome to RyberSoft in this video we are going to talk about
some of the simple tweaks that you can apply on your Windows PC to get much
better performance out of it we will be doing some of the simple tweaks such as
disabling startup apps, cleaning some temporary files and such tricks, first
one is that we will be cleaning unwanted files from the temporary folder
on your device to access temporary folder you will have to go to run for
that purpose just click sorry hit window button type
run or you can even use the shortcut window + R button over here type
percentage sign then after oh sorry sorry yeah this thing and then hit enter
after you will get a list of files and folders you do just delete all of them
actually they are the temporary files created by some of the apps when they
get installed they save some cache files over here but forgot to remove
them so these are the loose files but always remember not to remove these
files whenever you are installing some apps with doing this thing okay better
after closing all the apps you do delete this folder then after Yousef delete or
right click delete then hit enter all the files will get deleted will get deleted
if you get something like that delete all of them okay all the files has been deleted from
there there's one more fold oh sorry there's one more folder that you have to
clean up this time without percent assign just a template enter you
will get a list of files and folders delete these all to here you will have
to provide administrator permission okay
oh it's a it's opened in some other rap so I'll skip this okay most of the apps
over here most of the files sorry files over here have got cleaned this in this
way you can free up some of the space on your system and make your system run
faster actually temporary files often makes your system lagging and causes a
lots of problems so now let's move to the second step this is about disabling
background apps background apps is like whenever you install any app in your
Android phone all the apps as you know all the apps all time keep on running in
background same have Windows started from Windows 10 all the apps that you
installed from Microsoft Store are always running and as you can see this
groove music music TV my office calendar photos and all these apps always keep on
running and we can actually disable them to save a lots of RAM and power so let's
do it to do that simply go to settings ok now
in said settings switch to privacy now under privacy on left side scroll down
to reach to background apps now in background apps you can you can either
turn off all of them at once by this switch or turn all those are apps of
which you rarely use say I don't use 3d builder I don't use Kinect I don't use
calculator I don't use alarm and klutz I don't use feedback hub I don't use gate
health in the in this way the apps that you don't use or you're not planning to
use and the things that you don't want to keep updated or sync you can disable
them those from here and hence save power as well as RAM as you can see
Microsoft 2 says choose which apps can receive enforce a notification and stay
up to date even when you are not using them turning background apps of
can help conserve power so you can turn this off to save lots of power and Prius
CPU uses and RAM as well so guys there's the second method now let's move through
the third one start with the third step that is disabling startup programs
whenever you turn on your computer some of the apps automatically get started
and compete for your resources and those are the apps that which you rarely use
in my case I rarely use CC clean I rarely use QuickTime I rarely use PD
innate yet this all start started automatically in the PC and cause lots
of problem such as slow booting and such things to get rid of these things you
will have to disable them from start up and to proceed with this just follow
those steps first you will have to open task manager you can either follow
either right-click on the taskbar and select task manager or use the shortcut
ctrl shift + escape button both will open task manager here you can see loads
of stats about which programs are consuming how much of resources and ok
sorry for that disturbance no ok now in the task manager switch to startup tab
now in startup tab you can see a list of all the apps their publishers their
current status and how much impact they put on your system startup say I can see
here HP coulson CyberLink YouCam services going to say studio and here
it's recommended that you disable all those apps which you don't use often or
which are not related to your system such as as I'm using HP laptop HP cool
since it's a system system utility software that helps to
keep my laptop in cool I mean it's fans and something related
to my CPU fan and I don't want to mess up with it so I will let it stay enable
CyberLink YouCam i rarely use that my camera of laptop so
i will disable it to disable any of this just right click and click on disable to
easily choose which one should be disabled tap on the status then after
you will get a list of all those which are enabled on top here add up gamma
utility I don't want it I will disable it add up gcutil what what I'll disable
it CC cleaner I will disable it disabling it from here neighbor means
that you can't use that app you will it just says that you it won't start
automatically video operating system so beta you disable all those apps which
you don't use often say this one is snapped ik touchpad enhancement this is
related to my touchpad so I want disable it and this is wondershare studio I
rarely use it so I will disable it - ok now as you can see I've disabled most of
these apps in this way you can save boot up it boot up time that is your PC will
boot faster and your resources - will be saved so guys this was the third method
and now let's switch to fourth metal third that is deleting prefetch files
actually what a prefetch files prefetch files are some of the files that windows
you started from XP and it's being continued till now this can't these are
the files that I used to reduce something related to catch it so you can
delete them as well to delete those again open sorry sorry I'll explain it
play trace windows + R button to open this run window over
type prefetch and then hit enter you will get a folder like this you do one
thing just delete all these files and then after some of the apps and some of
space will get freed and you will also get some other things like some faster
you will begin to fail it slowly slowly but you will get some profit benefit
from that now we are going to clean some of space from your C Drive there are
loads of system files which are stored under C Drive that you can directly
access and remove them so to begin right-click over C Drive in your this PC
window ok get to properties under properties switch click on this disk
cleanup now you can close this tab it may take some time depending yeah yeah
as you can see now right now it can clean 2.4 8 GB of my space and if you
tap on this clean up system files it will be able to clean more file more
number of files such as it will even be cleaning previous Windows installation
files and all those stuffs so to check these things according to your
requirement if you think something is important here do check it it will empty
recycle bin since nothing is nothing is there then profiles thumbnails then
after click OK delete files and in just a few seconds
things will get deleted this it's not much useful if you haven't updated your
PC since long but if you usually update your PC this thing will really free up
about 20 to 25 gb once it helped me to get 20 gb of space right after
installing creator fall update now we are going to talk about some of the
simple tricks that will help you to improve the performance of your PC these
are just simple one these include uninstalling the applications that you
rarely use say I don't use advanced archive
password recovery and installed it once but it was not working properly so you
can uninstall them according to your requirement that won't just free up your
disk space but do much more and one more thing recommended is don't ever late the
free space of C Drive run below 10 GB that will hamper your update system I
mean you won't get proper updates if you C Drive free space is less than 10 GB so
