Chelsea in high spirits ahead of Liverpool clash as Alvaro Morata, Eden Hazard and Co train in the sunshine

Chelsea prepared for Sunday's showdown with Liverpool in the sunshine as Antonio Conte put his side through their paces.

Last season's champions face a battle to make the top four and must beat Liverpool to have a chance.

The Blues seemed in high spirits as they set to work at their Cobham training ground on Friday afternoon.

    Chelsea players Andreas Christensen, Ross Barkley, N'Golo Kante, Willy Caballero, Willian and Emerson Palmieri (left-right) were in high spirits in training on Friday.

    Alvaro Morata will be hoping to be involved against Liverpool in Sunday's clash .

Conte watched on as his side performed a number of drills and a few of the players found time to pose for a photo.

By Sunday the outlook will be far more serious at Stamford Bridge and a familiar face will be returning.

Mo Salah never made the grade at Chelsea and has since gone on to enjoy an incredible season with the Reds after his stint with Roma.

Conte denied having anything to do with the decision to let Salah go:  'My decision? No, no, no,' he said.

    Antonio Conte will be desperate for his side to overcome the Reds who are fatigued.

    Chelsea currently lie in fifth and face a battle to qualify for the Champions League .

'I have never spoken about Salah because I think the situation was clear.

Was very, very clear.

No one asked me about him.

He then laughed: 'No, I don't want to take this responsibility.

If you put also this on me, I'm in trouble.

Put that on the person who has to take the responsibility.'.

'I think this season, for Salah, is a fantastic season.

For sure we are talking about a really good player.

I knew him when he played in Italy.

But to wait for this type of season.

it would be very difficult to predict this type of season for Salah.

'We are talking about a player with specific characteristics: good technique, and also very fast.

But this season I'm seeing him very clinical.

Every opportunity, every chance he has, he is taking them very well,' Conte added.  .

    Last season's champions of the Premier League want to finish the season on a high .

Liverpool take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this afternoon looking to seal a top-four finish in the Premier League.

Here are the key stats and facts.

Reds Top-Four Fate.

A win today will guarantee Liverpool a place in the Champions League next season and a draw should be sufficient barring a mathematical freak.

Chelsea are six points behind the Reds with a game in hand and their goal difference is 17 worse than Jurgen Klopps men.

Liverpool would also have to lose to Brighton at Anfield on the final day.

The Unbeaten Era.

Liverpool are unbeaten in the last six league meetings home and away, winning two and drawing four.

If they avoid defeat today it will be their longest run without defeat against Chelsea in the Premier League era.

At Stamford Bridge, Liverpool have lost only one of the last seven encounters, and are undefeated in the last three in west London, winning two and drawing the other.

Challenge Accepted?.

Patrik Berger scored Liverpool's last hat-trick against Chelsea—at Anfield in October 1997.

That is one of only four occasions when Reds players have scored three in a game against Chelsea—the others being James Stewart (1910), Fred Pagnam (1915) and Gordon Hodgson (1930).

All were scored at Anfield.

No player has ever scored a hat-trick for Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.

Liverpools 500th Away Game & Other Milestones.

This will be Liverpools 500th away game in the Premier League.

Dejan Lovren is one game short of recording 150 in the league for Liverpool.

Lovrens first league goal for the Reds came in this fixture last season.

Mo Salah this season has scored 13.

Salah failed to find the net against Stoke last weekend.

The Egyptian requires one more goal this season to become Liverpools record scorer in a single Premier League campaign—beating the record of 31 currently set by Luis Suarez in 2013/14.

Mo Salah could play the 50th game of his Liverpool career today.

Not since November 2012 have they done so for a third successive match—that sequence included trips to Everton and Chelsea.

Hawaii residents flee lava, toxic gas from Kilauea volcano as earthquake strikes - Duration: 0:48.

The Kilauea volcano on Hawaii's Big Island continues to spew lava and toxic gas.

That and a magnitude 6-point-9 earthquake has forced thousands of residents and tourists

on the island to flee.

The quake struck Friday, local time, and officials in the state say it was one of dozens that

hit within 24 hours.

Volcanic vents, which bring lava to the Earth's surface, have opened up in residential areas,

some miles away from Mount Kilauea's summit.

Levels of sulfur gas in the air have made it too dangerous for some people to go home

or to work.

Officials say they expect the volcanic activity will continue.

The earthquake knocked out power for some 14-thousand residents, though it's reported

that power has been restored for about half of them so far.

What to wear to a Spring/Summer wedding

And decoding the dress codes

Stated on the invites

Wedding season is quickly approaching

And I'm currently at the time in my life

Where people around my age are getting married

So I think it's the perfect time

For me to break it all down

There's a bunch of different dress codes

For different types of weddings

But in this video

I am going to be focusing on

The 7 most common dress codes

Before we get started

I want to touch base on a few

Stores that I recommend

To check out when shopping for dresses

Definitely department stores

Like Nordstrom and Bloomingdales

Are great places to start

Because they have a huge dress selection

And options for every dress codes

At different price ranges

For those of you that are more online shoppers

I recommend Lulus.com

This store is very affordable

And they have a lot of

Classic and trendy dresses

Reformation.com is more on the pricier side

But they have a lot of

Really cute vintage inspired dresses

And then for the more sophisticated silhouettes

I recommend stores like

Zara, Banana Republic, and Club Monaco

Alright! So let's get into it

I'm going to start with

The more casual dress codes

And then work my way up to

The more formal dress codes

If the invite says "Casual" or "Daytime"

Think along the lines of

Business casual

You still want to look put together

And at the same time comfortable

So a nice sundress

Or skirt or trousers with a blouse

Or even a jumpsuit

Are all appropriate

Shoe options can be

A playful sandal

A cute flat

Or even just simple heels

And then hair and makeup can just be natural

For this occassion

I would wear this

Cowl neck polka dot maxi dress

From Reformation

It lays really nicely on the body

And has a side slit detail

For shoes, I paired it with

Simple white ankle strap sandals

From Lulus to match

If the invite says "Beach Formal"

You'll definitely want to wear

A nice sundress

Or something linen material

I'd suggest a midi or maxi length dress

For this occassion

Because typically by the ocean

There's a lot of wind

So you'll want to avoid

Any wardrobe malfunctions

Sand appropriate platforms

And flats are key here

Obviously flats would be most ideal

But if you want to get some height

Then definitely espadrille wedges

Slip on mules

Or block heel shoes are all options

Also don't forget

Sun ready accessories

Like sunglasses or a beach hat

And then for hair and makeup

It can be natural as well

I got this floral ruffle midi dress

From Zara's latest collection

And it would be perfect for a beach setting

It's very summery, flowy, and delicate

I would wear my slip on mules

That has a thicker heel

With this dress

And then add a pair of

Cateye sunglasses

If the invite says "Cocktail Attire"

A great rule of thumb here

Is to not wear something

You wouldn't want your boss to see you in

A little black dress is perfect

For this dress code

One that is of a midi length

Chic, and you can also add

A nice sweater or cardigan on top

My little black dress is from Banana Republic

It has thick straps, a square neckline

And is midi length

This dress is super comfortable

And has a lot of stretch

I would also wear it with

Simple black ankle strap heels

And a small black clutch

And for when I get cold

I would throw on a

Knitted black cardigan

To complete the look

If the invite says "Semi-Formal" or "Dressy Casual"

You'll want to dress somewhere

In between formal and casual

Most weddings are semi-formal

Meaning you'll want to wear

A cocktail dress for the evening

And a midi length dress for the daytime

Look to fabrics like silk, crepe, chiffon or satin

And definitely wear some nice dress shoes

And you can accessorize with

A small clutch

You can be a little more playful here

With colors, textures, and silhouettes

Something like an off-shoulder

Or open back dress

Are all appropriate

I absolutely love slip dresses

And this one by Stone Cold Fox

Is perfect for a semi-formal wedding

The color is great for the Spring/Summer season

And I dressed it up with some

Pearls and furry slippers to match

If the invite says "Formal" or "Black Tie Optional"

This suggests wearing something

Slightly less formal than Black Tie

So a long evening dress

A dressy suit

Or a really nice cocktail dress

Are all options

You'll want to stick with neutral colors

So nothing too colorful or flashy

You should choose a dress that will

Hold alongside a room full of

Men wearing formal tuxedos

And then also women that have

Chosen to wear formal gowns

This grey floor length dress from Lulus

Is a great formal dress

I did have to get it hemmed to the right length

So that it just sweeps the floor

But you want to make sure

That the length of your dress

Is not too long

Or else you'll trip

It also has a deep v-neckline

And slit in the front

And I paired it with some

Simple white ankle strap heels

If the invite says "Black Tie"

It's customary to wear

Floor length gowns

That are more of the darker side of colors

And made of luxe fabrics

Think about it as a

Red carpet type event

So dresses that have

Embellishments, cutouts, or dramatic details

Are all great options

You can definitely wear a

Dressier cocktail dress

For this dress code

But keep in mind the length

So definitely something that's

Under the knee

Would be best appropriate

Hair and makeup should be very classy

And shoe options should be formal

For a black tie event

I definitely would stick to a

Black colored dress

This one by Stone Cold Fox is a great option

I think it's a perfect combination of

Classy and sexy

And to bring it up a notch

I'd probably add a

Faux fur wrap on top

With simple drop earrings

If the invite says "White Tie"

Then this is the most formal

Of all wedding dress codes

This means wearing a

Formal floor length gown

With glamorous makeup and hair

And dramatic jewelry

Accessorizing with long gloves

And putting a shawl over

To cover the shoulders

Are really common

In this dress code

I currently don't have

A White Tie appropriate dress

To show you guys right now

But I did do some online shopping

And picked out a few

I would pick out for myself

If I did get invited

To a White Tie wedding

So I created two different looks for you of

For a White Tie wedding

The first outfit on the left

I love the sheer detail at the bottom

I think it's simple yet dramatic

I would pair it with drop earrings

A small clutch

And strappy sandals

For the second outfit on the right

I found this Vince Camuto

Satin off shoulder gown from Nordstrom

I would accessorize it with lighter neural colors

So pearl earrings, silver clutch, and nude sandals

Ok, so this concludes the breakdown of

The most common dress codes

For attending a wedding

Whenever you're shopping for a dress

Definitely keep in mind

The location of the wedding

Because that'll kind of give you

A cue as to if your dress is appropriate or not

And whenever you're in doubt

Dress more formally

Because it's better to be overdressed

Than underdressed

Jurgen Klopp has been nominated for the Premier Leagues Manager of the Season award after his excellent third campaign with Liverpool.

The Reds could seal a second successive top-four finish if they secure a result away to Chelsea on Sunday afternoon, having come fourth in the league in 2016/17.

Klopp has overseen an excellent season that initially saw Liverpool station themselves as title contenders, but with Man City pulling away their priorities shifted.

The Germans achievements have been recognised by Premier League sponsors Barclays, with Klopp among six managers considered the standouts in the English top flight this term.

He joins two ex-Liverpool bosses on the shortlist in Rafa Benitez and Roy Hodgson, along with title-winning Pep Guardiola, the quietly impressive Chris Hughton and perennial overachiever Sean Dyche.

Klopp is, of course, the only manager to also lead his side to the Champions League final, with the Reds set to take on Real Madrid in Kiev on May 26.

Voting for the Premier Leagues Manager of the Season closes before the trip to Ukraine, with supporters able to back Klopp until 12pm (BST) on Thursday, May 10.

You can vote for Klopp via the Barclays Facebook page (link in description), with fans input combined with those of a panel of football experts to decide the winner.

Klopp is yet to win a Manager of the Month award this season, with Guardiola (four) leading the way and Dyche (one), Hughton (one), Eddie Howe (one) and David Wagner (one) also honoured.

Two Liverpool players have won Player of the Month awards, however, with Mohamed Salah the first to do so three times in a single campaign, and Sadio Mane (one) recognised back in August.

Virgil van Dijk has been just as pivotal a signing for Liverpool as Mohamed Salah.

That is according to former Reds captain and Premier League pundit Jamie Redknapp.

Liverpool have enjoyed a sensational season, with Jurgen Klopp leading them to the Champions

League final.

And it is two of the German's signings in the campaign that have proven pivotal to their

success.

Salah has scored an incredible 43 goals in all competitions, which earned him the PFA

Player of the Year award.

But Liverpool have been crying out for defensive reinforcements for some time, and the £75m

acquisition of Van Dijk from Southampton has made them far more solid at the back.

While Salah has made their attack world-class, Redknapp cannot underestimate the importance

of the Reds' Dutch centre-half.

"As well as the brilliance of Salah in attack, for me, there's no way Liverpool would be

in this healthy position if they hadn't signed Virgil van Dijk," Redknapp told Sky Sports.

"Loris Karius, and the rest of the defence look better players with him alongside them.

"He's been amazing and a great influence on that backline.

"Hopefully he can give them some more stability and assurance next season, when the target

has to be aiming for the Premier League title."

If Liverpool are to beat Real Madrid in Kiev on May 26, Van Dijk will need to be on the

top of his game, just like Salah.

The former Celtic star will have to deal wth the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema

and Gareth Bale in Ukraine.

He set a deadline for federal agencies.

This deadline might decide the fate of one of the country's most-hated practices.

Most patriots despise government handouts.

Even many of the people on government handouts don't like them.

The incredibly expensive programs were supposed to help people, on a limited basis, but millions

of Americans are hooked.

They get on programs like welfare and never get off.

It has resulted in a welfare state.

A large portion of our population is dependent on the government for food, housing, and other

necessities.

Instead of earning these things themselves — through a good-paying job — they are

little more than subjects of an all-powerful government.

Americans stuck on welfare aren't enjoying prosperity.

They surely aren't living the American dream.

When Donald Trump took office, he promised to empower all Americans.

He wants everyone to have the chance at a good-paying job.

That's why one of the first things he did was slash government regulation.

He fought to end TPP and renegotiate NAFTA, trade deals that harmed American jobs.

Perhaps his biggest win was the GOP tax cuts, which has raised wages and increased employment.

Now, he's set his sights on the welfare state.

Trump is not satisfied with the way things are.

There are an estimated 6 million job openings across the country.

These are jobs that aren't being filled.

Millions more are relying on government handouts, instead of finding good employment, but things

might be changing very soon.

For years, government programs have made it harder for Americans to get out of poverty.

People get into a program because they are in need.

These programs often reward people who are earning less.

The unintended result is that many deliberately stay out of work, or earn low wages, to keep

collecting government checks.

You might be able to argue that was the plan all along.

These programs were originally designed by Democrats, who wanted to exploit the working

class and poor.

They created these programs, pretending they will help these groups.

All the while knowing it makes them dependent on big government to sustain them.

That's the opposite of the American way, where every individual deserves to live free

of government control.

Naturally, this move to cut down on the welfare state has the left outraged.

BUT OPPONENTS ARE INFURIATED THAT THOSE RECEIVING HOUSING PUBLIC ASSISTANCE WOULD ALSO BE REQUIRED

TO SPEND 5 PERCENT MORE OF THEIR MONTHLY GROSS INCOME ON RENT, THAT DEDUCTIONS FOR SOME CHILD

CARE AND MEDICAL COSTS WOULD BE ELIMINATED, AND THAT CAPS FOR THE NEEDIEST ABLE-BODIED

WOULD JUMP FROM $50 TO $150 A MONTH.

Russia could back Pakistan and 'TURN' on India as threats of World War 3 'SKYROCKET'

RUSSIA could back Pakistan and turn on India if it continues to trade with the West as

Moscow and Islamabad pledge to improve defence ties, it has been claimed.

India has repeatedly pleaded with Russia to not sell arms to Pakistan.

However, New Delhi has still placed large orders with Vladimir Putin but has previously

done so under the condition the superstate does not sell certain arms to its South Asian

neighbour.

India's 2016 £4.1 billion ($5.5 billion) S-400 surface-to-air missile deal was signed

under these terms.

Kamal Alam, a Pakistan analyst at the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) think tank,

thinks Russia may continue to restrict the amount and type of weaponry offered to Pakistan,

but this stance could change if India continues purchasing equipment from the West.

James Hackett, defence analyst with the International Institute for Strategic Studies think tank,

added: "Russia is still very heavily invested in current and future Indian defence equipment.

"So in this context, because of India's potential reaction, Russia would likely weigh

carefully any decision to significantly deepen defence ties with Pakistan."

This comes after Indian experts visited Pakistan to discuss aspects of bilateral ties between

Islamabad and New Delhi to improve relations by reviving Track II diplomacy.

Track II diplomacy, otherwise known as backchannel diplomacy, involves the use of non-governmental

contact to analyse possible solutions to tension and conflict.

One source detailed the interactions between the two nuclear-armed states occurred between

April 28 and April 30 in the Pakistani capital of Islamabad.

Another source added: "The two sides discussed all aspects of bilateral relations and agreed

that all issues between the two countries should be resolved through talks."

Both India and Pakistan have been responsible for horrifying ceasefire violations along

the contested border separating the two countries known as the Line of Control (LoC).

Kanwal Sibal, India's former foreign secretary, emphasised such dialogue between the two countries

has been strained in recent years.

He stated: "Neemrana has had a tough time over the past few years.

"Both sides felt though that it was important to keep alive that tradition but I didn't

go because I don't think it would yield significant results in the current circumstances."

Pakistan's ministry of foreign affairs, Mohammad Faisal, said: "India should walk

the talk and refrain from provocative statements.

"Our armed forces practice restraint but have the capacity and are ever vigilant to

give a befitting response to any threat to the motherland."

US Navy Announces Resurrection of Second Fleet As Russia Tensions Linger

The United States Navy will re-establish the Second Fleet to oversee Naval forces in the

northern Atlantic Ocean as part of its new military strategy aimed at countering Russia.

"Our National Defense Strategy makes clear that we're back in an era of great power

competition as the security environment continues to grow more challenging and complex," Chief

of Naval Operations Admiral John Richardson announced Friday, according to the BBC.

"That's why today, we're standing up Second Fleet to address these changes, particularly

in the north Atlantic," he said.Richardson announced the return of the combat organization

that oversaw naval forces in the North Atlantic throughout the Cold War while he was on board

the USS George H. W. Bush in Norfolk, Virginia.

"Second Fleet will exercise operational and administrative authorities over assigned

ships, aircraft and landing forces on the East Coast and northern Atlantic Ocean,"

Richardson said, according to Reuters.The Second Fleet will also oversee maritime, joint

and combined operations and training for those operations.Who will command the fleet and

which naval assets have been assigned have not yet been announced.

Initial accounts said the fleet will be staffed with 15 people to start.

Also on Friday, the Pentagon said it has offered to host a proposed NATO Joint Force Command

at Norfolk.NATO is refocusing on the Atlantic in recognition of the great power competition

prompted by a resurgent Russia," said Pentagon spokesman Johnny Michael, according to CNN.

The Second Fleet was disbanded in 2011, during the Obama administration, as a means to reduce

costs. At its peak, the Second Fleet was made up of 126 ships, 4,500 aircraft and 90,000

personnel.However, when Defense Secretary James Mattis presented the nation's new

strategy, which sets the stage for all policy decisions, he said China and Russia were "revisionist

powers" that "seek to create a world consistent with their authoritarian models."

"The re-establishment of the US Second Fleet is part of a wider strategy of re-orientating

the U.S. armed forces towards a world of renewed big power competition and away from the counter-insurgency

campaigns they have been fighting over recent decades," noted Jonathan Marcus, a defense

and diplomatic correspondent for the BBC.In this case, the focus is Russia — a response

to its stepped-up naval activity of recent years. The new headquarters will give more

coherent command arrangements for U.S. warships operating in the Atlantic," he said.

Administration officials have voiced concerns over a more bellicose Russian attitude toward

naval power in the Atlantic.

"They have launched a new submarine that I can safely say is closing the gap on some

of our technologies," Navy Secretary Richard Spencer told Congress last month. "But,

we are hard at work, also, to make sure that gap does not close and that the rate of the

gap does not increase."
