SWOT analysis

But actually is a SWOT analysis. SWOT is an acronym for strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats

A swot analysis is strategy planning to help a person recognize his or her strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities

Self analysis plays a very important role in our life. It Helps us achieve our goals quickly and efficiently

The First step is to recognize your strengths those things that you are good at

For a person these strengths could be determination, honesty, leadership qualities or being hard-working

They need not be any technical skills as they can also be soft skills

Find answers to such questions as what is it that you have that most people don't have

Out what is that you do better than most people? what personal resources, can you access?

Recognizing your strengths allow you decide on how and when to use them to your advantage

We all strive for perfection. no one is perfect to be the best versions of ourselves, we need to deal with weaknesses in us

To do this one first needs to identify those weaknesses

Don't lie to yourself by claiming not to have a weakness or by ignoring it

weaknesses can be being overtly emotional or prone to Procrastinating

you need to ask yourself salient questions like what are the tasks I avoid doing

What are those things? I'm poor at what negative work habits do I have?

and more when you find these weakness do not do yourself disservice by shying away from them

Identifying and grabbing that opportunity is very important element in growth

This is also mean that you must ready to actually take the advantage of opportunities

How do you do these?

Taking advantage of his strengths and improving on your weakness to find these opportunities see if the industry that you are working in has

Deficiency or need you can fulfill

That the market need anything that nobody is offering, is there an opening that at the moment's look bad, but can be a leader later

Victory is when preparation meets opportunity

So as they seek out the opportunities prepare yourself

Where there is a life there would be threats as well

Competition is anywhere. In the fast-paced world we live in, there is no time to sit and enjoy because if you are not working

Somebody somewhere is. On personal level if you see your weaknesses someone's strength

Or do you feel that your colleague is a much better speaker than you

Or Your classmate does not seem to work as hard as you do, but gets the same result as you or better result

Then you have need to work on these things Swot Analysis.

Never stop learning, and you will never stop achieving the world is constantly changing. We need to change along with it

Cavuto to Trump: 'How Can You Drain the Swamp if You Keep Muddying the Waters?' - Duration: 4:34.

president from bits fond of calling out the media on fake news but is he the one

giving them very real ammunition maybe not intentionally I'll even give

you the benefit of the doubt mr. president say maybe not deliberately but

consistently way to consistently so let me be clear mr. president how can you

drain the swamp if you're the one who keeps muddying the waters you didn't

know about that $130,000 payment to a porn star I think it did said you knew

nothing about how your former lawyer Michael Cohen handle this until

acknowledging today you were the guy behind the retainer payment that took

care of this you insists that money from the campaign or campaign contributions

played no role in this transaction of that you're short thing is not even 24

hours ago sir you couldn't recall any of this and you seem very sure now I'm not

saying you're a liar you're president you're busy I'm just having a devil of a

time figuring out which news is fake let's just say your own words on lots of

stuff give me shall I say lots of pause like the time you said the Russians

didn't interfere in the 2016 election until a lot of Republicans had to remind

you they did came back months later and you said well I never said that Russia

didn't meddle in the election when in fact you had a lot now none of this

makes me a never Trump er just always confused like when you claim your tax

plan was the biggest in US history when it wasn't or that the bill you signed it

make it all happen it would cost you a fortune

when it turns out it is going to help make you a bigger fortune or that your

job approval novels really aren't that bad relative to other presidents at this

stage when they're actually worse than most presidents at this stage that can

change but what's weird is this pattern does not like the time that you said

rumors of Rex Tillerson departure at the State Department were false until they

weren't or that your former chief of staff Reince Priebus wasn't going

anywhere until he was or your economic adviser Gary Cohen was doing

great job a dilly ones and when you absolutely love Steve Bannon until you

didn't swore by Jeff Sessions that you started swearing at Jeff Sessions had

your legal team locked in place until then wasn't denied reports you were ever

thinking about firing Robert Muller even as you now threatened getting involved

at the Justice Department now none of this makes you evil but I'm sure you can

understand why even your friends say these inconsistencies don't make you

look good or do anything to help advance your policies many of which are very

good or the prospects for peace with North Korea that is remarkably good all

this stuff you keep blurting out remarkably bad and remarkably bad timing

it is not that these exaggerations and omissions and Mis statements are now and

then more like now and then something else always something else like the time

you claim you sign more bills than any president ever neglecting to mention the

other four presidents FDR Truman Carter and Clinton who will sign more or brag

about the national debt going down by 12 billion dollars after your first month

in office even though it's sorted by nearly a trillion bucks now that your 15

months in office but it's not what you are omitting mr. president it is what

you keep stating and never correcting like when you said there was a serious

voter fraud in New Hampshire and there was it said the same about repeated

claims of voter fraud in Virginia and there weren't or that millions of

illegals voted in the last election but they didn't or the time you talked up

your massive landslide in the electoral college even though three out of four

presidents before you had bigger electoral vote landslides in their

elections again none of this makes what you say fake just calling out the press

for being so a bit of a stretch you are right to say some of them are out to get

you but often times they're using your own words to bash you your base probably

might not care but you should I guess you're too busy draining the swamp to

ever stop and snow the stink you're creating that's you're doing that's your

stink mr. president that's your swamp you

How to choose the right running shoes ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Duration: 4:07.

Hello, my brave ones Today I am here ready to help you choose the running shoes

perfect For that, I'm going to give you some tips to choose the right running shoes

for you. There are several things that you are going to have what to keep in mind before getting your

sneakers. So, very attentive. The first what you have to keep in mind is that you have

What to make sure of the size. Yes Yes. Can that seems very obvious to you, but choose the

Proper carving is not as easy as it seems. You have to choose some shoes that you do not

they are very fair or too loose. You carry the correct size if between your finger and the toe

they are between 0.5 and 1 centimeters. If it remains less distance the sneaker is too much

fair and can cause us problems. Do not forget, that when we run the foot tends

to move a little forward. What if On the contrary, there is more space, the foot

you can move too much inside the shoe and that makes us lose stability. A trick

when it comes to buying your shoes is that you buy them the later the better. By

what? Because the feet swell during the day, something that also happens when you run.

During a race the foot can increase of volume up to 7%. So you already know,

try on your shoes the later best. Another thing to keep in mind is your weight.

When choosing your sports your weight it's very important, it's not the same as you weigh

50 kilos, to which you weigh 90. When minor your weight you can use lighter shoes

and with less cushioning. and on the contrary, The higher your weight the greater the cushioning

what do you need. To give you an idea, the weight ranges can be in 3. First

place are the light ones, up to 75 kilos of weight. The means, they go between 75 and 85 kilos.

And the heavy ones, which are the ones that need more cushioning are those over 85 kilos.

Third, you also have to have Consider your career technique. As

that the weight, the technique also influences in the cushioning you need. If not

you have a lot of technique, the best thing is that you start using cushioned shoes and

as you improve your strides you can reduce the damping that

you need. The type of footprint is another of the key factors that you have to take into account

when choosing your shoes Basically there are 3 types of footprints or pronation. The pronators,

they have a rather flat foot, and their feet They tend to turn inward. If you look at the sole

of your footwear you will see that the wear will be produced by the inner part. The supinators

they are the opposite. They are runners with feet, and feet stick out.

In this case, the sole of your shoes will It will wear on the outside. And finally,

there are the runners with neutral tread. The neutral runners have a foot arch

normal and his feet when running go straight. Yes you do not know very well what is the type of footprint

you have, the best thing is that you opt for neutral shoes Another thing that you have

what to keep in mind is the sole of your shoes. When you buy your sports shoes you have to

Ensure that the sole is flexible. The Hard soles are not for running. And finally,

You have to take into account the race pace. Surely if you're starting to run your

race pace will be above the 4.5 minutes per kilometer, in this case you can

Choose shoes with more cushioning. But if your rhythm is high and your weight allows it

You can opt for lighter shoes. Surely if you follow these tips you will

find your ideal pair of sneakers, shoes perfect for you. I hope that my

Today's video you liked. If you liked it please give it a like and share it, you do not know

Come essere inarrestabili - SUB ENGLISH - How to be unstoppable #L'Italiano-The Italian - Duration: 3:12.

Do you now the best way

so that something will be not stopped?

sometimes it happened to me, maybe more than sometimes

to be in a situation where

someone came telling me something about a friend of mine

or presumed friend

and the thing was too incredible to believe

so I answered "No, it is impossible, he wouldn't ever do something like this"

and I let the situation go without listening

after a while I realized it was really so

and the person I believed a friend of mine

contrariwise really did it

or it was you going to a friend of yours

warning him

that a person he believed as a friend of him

was backstabbing him

in such an incredible way

that he himself, annoyed, sent you away telling

Impossible! Such a thing is not possible...

you got the role of the bad guy

and the real bad guy could backstab your friend

then your friend realized it

and apologized

well, these are two examples

making us understanding a principle

a very simple one

which is the basic of the conspiracy teories

if we want name them like this

and the ones pro and against such theories

but, anyway,

they can be used in the day-by-day life

the principle is:

THE UNBELIEVABILITY OF SOMETHING

IS ITS BEST PROTECTION

think about it: if something is too unbelievable to be true

you will not consider it

then the person or the situation can carry on

until you are hit

well, this explains , as I was saying earlier, the mechanism at the base of the conspiray theories

it could be that some things are true ones

but they are so incredible

that a great portion of the people

tells you "You cannot be so stupid to believe it"

so that, if one or more of these theories would be true

these persons doing such incredible things

too incredibles to be true

won't find any resistance because

the majority doesn't believe it

not doing then anything to stop them

and this people can carry on

reaching their goals

now, I am not with this one or that one conspiracy theory

but the point is that

this principle works both in the great events

and in the little ones

especially in our day-by-day life

and the previous examples happens often

Next time someone tells you something

about someone other

or about a situation

which coud hurt you

and it looks like a story too incredible to be true

maybe think a bit about it

observe the situation

look nearer by yourself what is happening

and maybe you could find out that a person you considered a friend of yours

maybe is not such a friend!

How to Help Someone Who is Suicidal (List & reasons) - Duration: 2:39.

How to Help Someone Who is Suicidal (List & reasons)

Helping someone who is suicidal is not easy.

There are several things that need to be considered.

Here is the 3 major tips on how you can help someone who is so depressed that wants to

end his or her life.

1.

Speak up

First of all, you need to say about this suicidal mission to the suicidal person.

If you think it is not a great idea, don't be.

Talking to suicidal person actually gives time for him or her to express what she or

he wants.

This enables you to grasp the situation which can be further used for preventing the suicide.

However, if it is not possible, you can talk to the family instead.

It is definitely not the most effective way, but it surely helps you to give first aid.

However, you should know the response because suicide can happen because of the closest

relatives.

2.

Offering help

In addition to speaking up to the suicidal person, you also need to consider offering

professional help.

However, before going there, you should make yourself as the reliable person.

You should listen, being empathic, and being convincing.

This way, you will be trusted to solve the problem that makes them suicidal from the

very beginning.

3.

Respond quickly

At some point, mediating or talking through this suicidal intention is impossible.

This time, you should consider to prepare the worst, the suicide attempt.

This stage is critical, and you should know that there are 4 factors that you should note.

They are the plan, the means, the time, and the intention.

Assessing those 4 factors is important because it enables you to prevent the suicide more

accurately.

Sometimes, the plans include lethal objects such as knife, guns, and ropes.

Moreover, they may also plan the suicide in particular period of time in which you should

know why the date is selected.

This is how to help canceling the suicidal mission.

All in all, that's the "How to Help Someone Who is Suicidal".

Acceptance And Commitment Therapy│How To Handle Anxiety│ACT - Duration: 9:30.

so ACT really came out of behavioral therapy she had behavioral therapy where

you change behavior by engaging in behavior so his behavior therapist

would figure out a behavior you wanted to change they would give you

homework you would do things this is where a lot of your if you had phobias

you would be exposed to things you would get reinforced for it so it came out of

behavior therapy but it added a little bit of an existential peace which i

think is fun so the existential peace is kind of why are we here so it's not

enough to say hey we know the tools to change behavior let's change behavior

this way but what is that existential piece of why are we here what are we

working for what are our values so it's also an acceptance plus a

commitment to action so at its core you accept what is out of your personal

control and then you commit to actions in line with your values you do this

through promoting psychological skills to deal with thoughts so that's where

your mindfulness component comes from and then the values which is clarifying

what is meaningful to us brief history of act 3 waive behaviorism the first the

focus on operant classical conditioning the second wave in the 70s was more of a

focus on thoughts and a focus on cognitive behavior therapy and rational

emotive behavior therapy so this is when Beck and Ellis came on the scene and you

see a lot of cognitive therapies so let's talk about irrational thoughts and

how irrational sause create emotions and if we replace irrational thoughts or

thoughts that don't serve us with more adaptive proactive thoughts then we'll

see changes in our emotions and how we feel and then some would say that the

third wave which is right about now is adding accepted acceptance and

mindfulness in addition to traditional behavior intervention so some would

describe act as being part of radical behaviorism so in radical behaviorism

everything an organism does its behavior thinking feeling remembering all forms

of behavior all are important I really like Oprah she interviewed brené Brown

she is now she wrote a book called daring greatly it's really good book and

she basically is a qualitative researcher in the human sciences she was

really interested in just the human experience so all her team does is

interview people and try and find themes based on human

period so she interviewed people with grief and there was this one example

that she used where this husband described losing his wife they spent

their whole life together and he said I was always afraid of losing her that

even when we had moments of joy I would kind of step back and be like oh my god

one day I could lose her and he said and then I lost her

so all over the time of worrying about that didn't prevent me from losing her

but it also didn't make the pain any less so she used the phrase which I love

dress rehearsed tragedy so sometimes we as humans think if we dress rehearse in

our minds we visualize it we practice it that when we experience it it won't hurt

as bad and it's probably not the case but that's an example of how regardless

of what's going on just the internal workings of your mind

the goal of act is psychological flexibility right and then there are six

core principles the first the present being in contact with the present and

not being in the future or stuck in the past

the second is values so you know what your values are you know why you're here

you know what the meaning is not to say that won't change tomorrow that's okay

but you know the direction you're going in and a lack of direction is the

opposite of that committed action towards moving towards your goals and

the opposite is being stuck the self as context rather than the self as content

diffusion which the opposite is cognitive fusion and acceptance which

the opposite is experiential avoidance so the Tiger example is if you imagine

a baby tiger in your house cute little baby tiger and he's hungry right and

you're afraid of them and you don't want him to bite you so you feed him then

he's hungry again you're afraid of them you don't want them to bite you see you

feed him and you keep going back to the fridge and you keep feeding them what's

happening to the tiger he's getting big he's still hungry and then eventually

you go in the fridge you don't have anything left except yourself

right so then you're no longer acting in line with your values because you're

feeding the tiger or you're feeding the anxiety yours so the only way you can

control that anxiety tiger is by staying home in your house locked up and feeding

it then that may be a time where you would want to practice more acceptance I

just think that what we have to do is try to make sure you feel safe enough

that you can mate in the state when I would say pushing the envelope it's more

about taking small risks that are really not comparing yourself to other people

in the room but it's comparing yourself your previous actions and small steps

that you think it's really about feeling safe and creating a poner where you feel

comfortable making some mistakes and as long as they're in line with the values

behavioural principle and your family and and the best interest of the learner

is reserved everyone here knows like Macy's because then your intentions

are in the right direction and it's okay they can make some mistakes because it's

it it's encouraged and if it goes in line with the value so I I really feel

like you know life is risky you know not going to get out of the fly but yeah

you're you're really never going to accomplish anything innovative or change

lives massively or do anything within your values unless you take those risks

so just being comfortable to take the risk I think it's really important I

hope you won't feel the level of safety to be able to take some some risks and

that's you know leaving the house is one I mean there are days just leaving the

house I think you yeah help others identify their uncomfortable processes

so what they may be doing a lot of parents we deal with main facts engaging

in unhelpful processes because that's what they've learned to do to keep the

train running right so being able to identify with them you think if you

understand if you're able to understand the parents values from a behavior

analytic standpoint then you understand their reinforcement so if you understand

their reinforcers it gives you an opportunity to have them act on your

suggestions right so you're understanding what parents care about

and I think sometimes we get too rigid with rules and we just had a discussion

last night about you know the funding source saying no you know you can't be

alone with the kid at all this and that and I said look if if the parent values

a couple of moments of silence to themselves and that's the big reinforcer

I'm not talking about all-out rest of it I'm talking about 10 minutes to

themselves if that's what they value more than anything and you take the

learner and you work with them and you you know that that's what valuable to

the parent you can use that to engage them one step at a time because then

you've paired yourself with their values I just think we have to be flexible that

way that's one application I would think oh I love that quote yeah when you know

their values you know their reinforcers

How to be a Badass Teen Homeschooler - Duration: 5:11.

You're a teen homeschooler. Congratulations.

You've probably spent a lot of time following your interests and curiosities, and great.

That's how it should be.

Do you ever get this nagging feeling though that maybe you're not making the best use of your time as you get older?

That's what this video is all about.

Hey, I'm Blake! I've spent over a decade working with homeschooled, unschooled, and self-directed teenagers

and in this video I'm going to tell you how to become a

*badass* teenage homeschooler.

There are three main ways of accomplishing this.

The first is by moving towards producing more stuff in your learning instead of just consuming it.

The second is by leaving the home environment and going out to the world where stuff is actually happening.

and third is by centering your learning around other people's needs and interests

and doing stuff that's useful and valuable to others instead of just useful and valuable to yourself.

Do these three things and you are well on your way to becoming a badass homeschooler

So what does this look like in the real world? Let me show you...

Okay, so the first thing you can do is travel, whether you're staying with family friends, you're doing a language exchange,

you're doing a homestay, there are many ways to skin this cat.

Sorry cats.

It's about the most direct way you can get out into the world and recreate yourself and grow rapidly.

Also consider traveling within your own country to go to gatherings where stuff is happening like

conferences, or camps, or competitions, where the most interesting people are sharing their ideas about the stuff that you want to learn more about.

Here's one of my favorite ones: email strangers. Find the people who are doing what you might want to do as an adult and

directly reach out to them, and say something like, I'm a 16 year-old homeschooler,

and I want to just talk to you for 30 minutes about your profession.

Can I please please please arrange a Skype date?, and almost always they will say yes.

You'd be surprised at how much of the benefit of the doubt you get as a young, passionate person who has some free time.

I know 14-, 15-, 16-year olds who have reached out and gotten permission to sit in on

Ivy League classes, gotten direct interviews with really big-name professionals,

just because they asked. Just do it!

Get involved with college. You might not feel like it's the right fit for you,

but you can dabble a little bit by going to community college classes

which are usually cheap and available almost anywhere in the United States.

You can sit in on college classes either officially or unofficially.

Create stuff, build stuff, whether it's a business, a game, a garden, a tree house, a trebuchet, I don't care!

Let's say you love reading: try your hand at writing.

Let's say you love listening to podcasts: try making a podcast. (It's not that hard.)

If you love watching videos...

try making one yourself!

*charming sparkle sound*

You will deepen your skills,

and you will feel like you are contributing to a body of knowledge instead of just always taking from it.

Create a volunteer or internship position for yourself.

A lot of times these don't exist, you just need to look for an opportunity than seize it.

I know many homeschoolers who have gone into vets offices and then ended up becoming a volunteer there, and within a number of weeks all the

sudden they're shadowing operations, or helping descent skunks, or making appointments for the vet.

I don't know what's going on with vets, they just let teens do whatever they want!

The point is: If your dream position doesn't exist, go create it.

Next, go outside.

GO

OUT

SIDE

Think of all those poor high schoolers stuck in the classroom, looking out the window on a beautiful day.

You are not one of them. Take advantage of this fact.

I grew up in Southern California where the perfect time to go hiking is in September,

but I was stuck in school.

Do it for me, kids, do it for Blake!

Finally, find other badass homeschoolers.

This famous guy in Silicon Valley, Paul Graham, said that there's only two things you need to do as a teenager:

Find smart people and work on hard problems with them.

So go do that, they're out there! You can find them.

The best place that I found to meet other badass teen homeschoolers and unschoolers is Not Back to School Camp—check it out.

All of this stuff will push you out of your comfort zone and give you skills for adult life and help you grow

and it'll also look really good on college admissions portfolios and in job interviews.

But don't do it just for those reasons, do it because it's fun and challenging and meaningful, and because it will make you feel like

a badass.

Now go do it!

Life is more fun when shared. Isn't that that quote from Into the Wild?

Life only meaningful when shared?

Before you go die in a bus in Alaska make sure you make some friends.

- [Beverly] Hi, I'm Beverly Welch. We're here at the Arbor Gate today

with Angela Chandler from The Garden Academy.

- [Angela] Hi, Beverly.

- And if you're a follower of our YouTube, which I hope you are,

you know what great fans Ann, Angela, and I are of herbs and edibles.

- Oh, absolutely. It's a basic part of our gardening.

- Yes, and so three to me of the easiest fruits to grow are figs, blackberries,

and grapes.

- They really are because they require minimal care.

- Right, and, you know, it's a vertical.

- Right, it gives you space in the garden.

- So, sometimes people complain they run out of space. So, this is one we can train

easily up on a trellis or an arbor.

- Yeah, and when you train one on an arbor, then you get the aesthetic,

you know, addition to your garden, too, because they're awfully pretty.

- Oh, they're beautiful. Now, one in particular, you know,

we haven't ever been known to be able to grow especially wonderful table grapes,

but there is a new introduction to us called Victoria Red.

- Yes, and everybody's excited about it. You know, muscadines have been sort of the

staple grape for the Gulf Coast, and there's a handful of table grapes that

we can grow with success. But Victoria Red has kind of taken the

South Texas by storm, so we're kind of excited to have it.

- I know I'm anxious to get one here in the garden.

- Mm-hmm. Me, too.

- All right. So now we're going to plant it along this edge of the garden box so we

can continue to plant other vegetables and herbs with it as well.

- We can and that way it'll be easily accessible from outside the box so that we

don't compress our soil.

- Perfect, perfect. So, any special tips other than very

well-draining soil for grapes.

- Grapes do need very well-draining soil, and that's nice if they have a soil that

has a lot of pore spaces in them, and of course the Arbor Gate Soil

Complete does, so that's a great way to plant them.

- And then we also want to...they're not super heavy feeders like other fruits

can be. - No.

- How often would you say to put the blend on them?

- I say once a quarter is good. You know, your major feeding in early spring and

then after that, they're kind of okay with light feedings after that.

- So now how are we going to prepare this guy to get it in the ground?

- Well, I think I'm going to leave it on the trellis 'till we do get it planted

just so that it doesn't flop around and we don't break anything.

But, we've already prepared our hole. This soil is in really good shape.

- Okay, I'm going to put just a bit of blend in the bottom...

- Right, stir it up. - ...and stir it up a bit with our soil.

- Right, and the nice thing about organic fertilizers is that they're non-burning,

and this one's in a container in its own soil and ready to take off.

- Now, do we want to break up this root ball like we do normal?

- We want to look a little bit, and it is a little tight.

So, we can break it up by hand or we can simply just cut through it...

in three or four places around the root ball. And what we're looking to do here

is interrupt... Now that one needs to be snipped. We want to interrupt the circular

growth so that it doesn't continue to strangle itself once it gets in the soil

because they can.

- We want them to spread their roots and grow.

- Right, and you can do this with a sharp kitchen knife, a pocket knife, you know,

whatever just to interrupt that flow.

- Okay. Now, we're ready to go in the ground.

- We're ready to go in the ground. Okay, so we know that we're going to keep this

one to train so we can pull our soil in, and you want to fill slowly.

This soil is very soft so it breaks up well. If you're planting in clay gumbo,

you're going to want to break the clods up and fill a little at a time so that you're

sure that you're not leaving any big air holes, because when roots hit those

air pockets, the tips of the roots are going to die off.

- Now, do we want to put just a little bit around the outside?

- We can. We don't want to create... - Just work it.

- ...too much of it. Yeah.

- Just work it a little bit.

- Work it in. And that way, irrigation and rain will give it a little

bit of a kickstart. And they work with nature. They're kind

of temperature-sensitive and moisture-sensitive, so it's not going

to continuously hit that plant until the plant really needs the nutrients.

- Perfect. Okay, so now we have all these ties we need to get off here.

Now why are we removing it from this trellis?

- Well, these trellises that they're grown on and shipped on are to protect the vine

during that transportation... - During transport, okay.

- ...[crosstalk] early time, but it's really not an adequate trellis

to grow this one. Oops, I found another one.

- All right, so we've got that removed.

- So we want to give it something a little better. And for the first year,

all we really want to do is train it up.

- All right. So we've got our stake here. - Oops, you've got it.

- And where would you like me to place it?

- Just close enough behind it that we can train this stem to it...

and pretty firmly. There we go. Okay, so now we want to take a look at this.

And what we're really looking for the first year is to develop this single stem,

and we want to top it off at about four feet. We want to find two opposite-facing

buds and trim right above those buds. Then, I'm also going to come down here and

trim off all this side growth...

and even this portion down here because we really want this one single stem trained.

- All right, and how long will we leave it on this single stake?

- Actually till next year. And next spring, we'll decide on

an appropriate trellis for this so that we can train the cordon arms.

These two buds will end up becoming the right cordon and the left cordon.

So, remember we always tie it to the stake first.

- You know, I love that tip.

- That way, it stays in place without us having to girdle the plant.

- And that is true with any vine plant.

- Anything that you're going to tie. And, we want to train it.

This'll eventually become a trunk that really has a pretty good size to it,

so straight as possible is where we want it to hit.

♪ [music] ♪

- So this year we're going to just basically take care of the vine.

- We are. - We're going to feed it,

keep it adequately watered and again keep it tied up the stem

as it grows.

- We are, and we're going to allow some leaves to form on this,

because that's solar energy for the plant, but we'll remove most of them next year

and concentrate on these cordon arms. Now if these cordon arms push real well,

we may even get [crosstalk] this... - We may do it this year.

- ...trellis this year.

- Okay, perfect. I think, like you said earlier,

it's about two years old so it may... - It is. These are big, healthy vines.

- ...yeah, take off on us really well. And, you know, it's a Texas superstar...

- It is a Texas superstar.

- ...so of course it's going to grow. You know, one thing, too,

we always like to play with is the companion planting aspect.

And, one of the best companions for grapes are roses.

- That's just wonderful.

- And if you've ever visited vineyards, oftentimes you'll see the roses at the end

of the lines or the rows of the grapes. And that is to help detect any fungal

diseases that might be in the area. Plus, it's a great draw for the honeybees.

- That's wonderful.

- So I picked out one called Lemon Fizz to plant here at the back of the box.

It's an open-faced, beautifully bright, sunny yellow one, and a good bloomer

through the winter, so I always like to have those flowers available for them

in the cool months. - That's wonderful, Beverly.

- So this is great. I'm so excited to finally be able to grow a good table grape

here in Houston.

- I'm very excited. I can't wait till it starts pushing, and we get it on a

permanent trellis. And we'll be back to talk about how to do its pruning

in the future.

- And we're going to explain more about why we have paper sacks.

- We have paper sacks. - Yes.

- More to come. - Yes. Thanks, Angela.

My Cafe: How To Be Good Township Leaders and Assistants? - Duration: 4:50.

hey everyone I'm Ola and today we are going to play My Cafe: recipes and

stories in this video I want to discuss the role of the leader of the Township

and their assistants, so let's go!

so today with the help of Cherry, our

YouTube moderator, I want to tell you about Township leaders and their

assistants' roles and duties. It's not enough just to create a Township, you

need to take care of it, to get new players to reach new leagues and to

compete at festivals and get rewards. so first of all when you create a Township

you need to find players for it so the first step will be to go to your

Township settings and to set a language, desirable players level, and to decide

whether your Township is going to be invitation-only, closed (players send

requests) and open (players can join a Township freely) you can also add

description to your Township stating its main rules ,so that players know what

they're joining. I'd recommend that new towns keep open to find new players faster.

afterwards start searching for players and it takes effort, so what can

help here is the official Facebook groups (you can find the links in the

description below my youtube video) and you can place your Township in the

special album: this is how players can find you. you can even make your Township

logo to make your township even more attractive to other players. plus you can

always invite more players to the game and get 500 diamonds for each new player

and Township member, 1,500 diamonds maximum. certain conditions are applicable here

please watch my video about that (the link is in the description) when players

start applying to your Township, check their cafes for cheating like a player in a

lower levels with the vip 0 probably can't have a lot of resources. it may also be

suspicious if a player donates a lot to the Township without having enough

resources in their cafe. in this case your Township may even be blocked and

the resources may be taken away. however you can report such a case to the

support service and the guys are very helpful most of the time. the most

interesting part of having a Township is definitely participation in festivals

and you have a lot of responsibilities here as a leader: you should prepare your

Township for the festivals. I should probably make another video about that

and if you have any tips for leaders here please write them in the comments.

motivate Township members take part in festivals, and definitely it's a must to

distribute rewards for the festival. some leaders don't do it and if you happen to

be in such town it's sad but maybe your option is to quit the township and to

search for a new one. our players have also created rewards calculator for

leaders so you can use any of the six options how to distribute festival rewards,

good job guys. you may also want to create your own

community in social media to chat with the Township members about the festival,

develop your strategy, give some tips about the game, just like Cherry does in

her tips and tricks group (the link is going to be in the description) but then

the final aspect is the emotional one like dealing with the fact you cannot

find players, other players are leaving your town for various reasons. they might

even have a boycott or they don't adjust to instructions etc. you also have to

balance resources, which can be quite nerve-racking because your members

disagree with that. additionally, often than not, you need to

provide psychological services and coax, sympathize etc.

and unlike your members you cannot take vacations.

now when we have special offers in the game offering

bonus diamonds to Treasury, you can track them, as it will be easier to get

township resources. as for the assistants, they can distribute prizes, they can

accept new players, and kick them out except for kicking out the leader, and they

can open new slots and shells but they also can steal your resources from

Township treasure trove, so one has to be very careful who one chooses. there is no

limit to the number of assistants one can assign, so still be careful about who

you give the extended rights in the townships.

In all, assistants can be really a good help for Township leaders in terms of

strategy, gifts distribution, and players management

well and thank you so much

for playing with me I hope you've enjoyed this video if you did then

please put your thumbs up and subscribe to my channel and let's play together I

have also rewarded 5 best comments under my previous video and the list of the

winners is right here thank you very much guys

you will receive your pink gifts pretty soon. this time I want to ask you two

questions: first is how do you prepare for the festival as a leader of the

Township? and second what do you like about being a leader and what do you

don't like? and the best five answers will get pink gifts

don't forget to leave you Player ID, this is a combination of

numbers in the bottom left corner of the game settings. I will announce five

winners next Friday till then have fun in the game and see you next time bye-bye
