Youtube daily how May 5 2018

In the insurance sector we're saying that the digital shift is causing two impacts;

firstly in terms of interaction with customers, clients are finding that needs to move onto

a more customer-centric experience and secondly the products that they provide in insurance

are needing to reflect the new digital economy.

To respond to that we are seeing interest with insurers looking to free up IT cost from

their infrastructure using digital capability and then re-invest that to develop new digital

experiences for their customers and to provide new digital products.

We're being asked to assist our clients in their cloud implementations where early

adopters are finding that to get the cloud benefits, they need to be able to use more

specialist techniques with hybrid clouds and containerisation.

We've been running a series of projects with our clients and typically we see a thirty

percent saving in IT infrastructure costs by putting in place these more complex environments

and delivering these savings.

Another area we see is really picking up interest with insurers is around the use of robotics.

RPA and RDA are being used to look at removing manual interactions and manual tasks in operations

and this allows quick wins to be delivered to the organisation.

Clients are investing in the internet of things, usually coupled with big data analytics, to

be able to give them a view similar to the telematics of cars to allow them to understand

more about a client and more about the insured items so they can issue more personalised

pricing and services.

One of the things we're working on is a smart building concept and this project allows

the client to be able to understand the health of their buildings and be able to take proactive

measures to reduce the claims that they would otherwise be generating, and from an insurer

perspective it allows them to have more personalised pricing and reserving in respect of this particular

product.

How To Use Forgiveness As A Tool To Heal Yourself And Others - Duration: 2:25.

How To Use Forgiveness As A Tool To Heal Yourself And Others

by Derek Kato,

The outer world is a reflection of the inner world.

Everything we experience is a reflection of our thoughts.

This means that every negative situation or negative person we encounter is a reflection

of our own thoughts!

We need to try to love everyone and everything in our life, just like we love ourselves.

The very moment that we interpret something/someone in our life to be negative, we have the power

to fix it immediately through forgiveness.

Forgiveness is one of the most powerful healing tools that we have.

When you forgive someone, you not only heal yourself, but you heal the person you forgive

as well!

The beautiful thing about forgiveness is that you dont have to ask permission from anyone

to forgive them.

You dont even have to tell them if you dont want too, but your forgiveness will

still heal them, by releasing the negative energy between you both.

An important lesson to understand is that there really is no good or bad,

there just IS.

Anything you interpret to be bad can be transformed before your eyes as you forgive

it and release any negative energy you feel towards that thing!

This is especially important in relation to people that we view to be evil.

If we think negative thoughts about these people, we send them negative energy that

actually feeds their evil and makes them even darker.

The people we interpret to be evil are simply without light in their lives.

These are the ones that need light the most!

If we can forgive these people and even send them light, this can speed up the entire ascension

process exponentially as these people are often in positions to create great change

if only they could heal and see the light!

Blessings!

How to make Idlis in microwave - Duration: 4:17.

Hello friends, Welcome to my healthy Channel once again.

Today I am going to make Idlis with you guys, and don't worry we do not need an Idli stand

for that.

We will make the Idlis in a microwave.

So lets see how we go about it.

First of all we will take some oil in the pan- 2 tsp of oil.

Add 1 tsp of mustard seeds.

10-12 Curry leaves.

1 tbsp of black split Urad Dal/Gram.

I soaked them for 10 minutes and drained the extra water.

Roast it for 2-3 minutes till Dal/Lentils gets little brown.

Lets add grated carrots to it.

Now we will add 1/2 a cup of coarse semolina.

It is also called sooji.

We have roasted the semolina for 2-3 minutes.

Now we will roast 1/2 a cup of rolled oats.

I am sure you can make out how healthy idlis we are going to make today.

We are adding 1/2 a cup of gram flour also known as besan.

You don't need to roast the gramflour too much, just stir it for 2 minutes and that's

it.

Now what we do is take this mixture out in a big bowl and bring it to the room temperature.

Yes friends, it has cooled down.

We will mix 1/2 a cup of thick curd in it.

I have mixed 1-1/2 cup of water and the mixture has come up to the right consistency.

Add 1 tsp of salt, 1/4 tsp of black pepper.

I have oiled /greased eight bowls.

When everything is ready, add 1tsp of Eno fruit salt/any other antacid and after this

we do not have to delay making the Idlis.

And this we are going to stir very gently now.

When mixed properly, we put the batter in the bowls like this.

I am putting then in the microwave -1 minute per bowl approximately.

After 7 minutes I will open the microwave and see whether the idlis are cooked or not,

otherwise I will cook for 1 or 2 more minutes.

So friends the idlis are cooked.

After 8 minutes, I opened the microwave and just passed on my knife in 1 or 2 idlis to

check whether they were cooked or not, the knife was totally clean that means they were

cooked.

It's always a good idea to take out the idlis after 10-15 minutes after it is cooled

down.

Now what we have to do is take them out like this.

See they just come out clean like this.

Serve them with chutney/sauce.

You can garnish it with lots of coriander/ cilantro leaves.

You can also serve them as snacks in your parties.

For that you can just cut them into halves.

This can be a really healthy snack.

If you like them please give it a thumbs up and do subscribe to my channel.

Thankyou so much. ,

How to choose the right running shoes ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Duration: 4:07.

Hello, my brave ones Today I am here ready to help you choose the running shoes

perfect For that, I'm going to give you some tips to choose the right running shoes

for you. There are several things that you are going to have what to keep in mind before getting your

sneakers. So, very attentive. The first what you have to keep in mind is that you have

What to make sure of the size. Yes Yes. Can that seems very obvious to you, but choose the

Proper carving is not as easy as it seems. You have to choose some shoes that you do not

they are very fair or too loose. You carry the correct size if between your finger and the toe

they are between 0.5 and 1 centimeters. If it remains less distance the sneaker is too much

fair and can cause us problems. Do not forget, that when we run the foot tends

to move a little forward. What if On the contrary, there is more space, the foot

you can move too much inside the shoe and that makes us lose stability. A trick

when it comes to buying your shoes is that you buy them the later the better. By

what? Because the feet swell during the day, something that also happens when you run.

During a race the foot can increase of volume up to 7%. So you already know,

try on your shoes the later best. Another thing to keep in mind is your weight.

When choosing your sports your weight it's very important, it's not the same as you weigh

50 kilos, to which you weigh 90. When minor your weight you can use lighter shoes

and with less cushioning. and on the contrary, The higher your weight the greater the cushioning

what do you need. To give you an idea, the weight ranges can be in 3. First

place are the light ones, up to 75 kilos of weight. The means, they go between 75 and 85 kilos.

And the heavy ones, which are the ones that need more cushioning are those over 85 kilos.

Third, you also have to have Consider your career technique. As

that the weight, the technique also influences in the cushioning you need. If not

you have a lot of technique, the best thing is that you start using cushioned shoes and

as you improve your strides you can reduce the damping that

you need. The type of footprint is another of the key factors that you have to take into account

when choosing your shoes Basically there are 3 types of footprints or pronation. The pronators,

they have a rather flat foot, and their feet They tend to turn inward. If you look at the sole

of your footwear you will see that the wear will be produced by the inner part. The supinators

they are the opposite. They are runners with feet, and feet stick out.

In this case, the sole of your shoes will It will wear on the outside. And finally,

there are the runners with neutral tread. The neutral runners have a foot arch

normal and his feet when running go straight. Yes you do not know very well what is the type of footprint

you have, the best thing is that you opt for neutral shoes Another thing that you have

what to keep in mind is the sole of your shoes. When you buy your sports shoes you have to

Ensure that the sole is flexible. The Hard soles are not for running. And finally,

You have to take into account the race pace. Surely if you're starting to run your

race pace will be above the 4.5 minutes per kilometer, in this case you can

Choose shoes with more cushioning. But if your rhythm is high and your weight allows it

You can opt for lighter shoes. Surely if you follow these tips you will

find your ideal pair of sneakers, shoes perfect for you. I hope that my

Today's video you liked. If you liked it please give it a like and share it, you do not know

How much that helps me, and remember that I wait for you In the next video, do not miss. Bye bye

How to Sew the Fastest Half Square Triangles - Duration: 4:36.

So let me show you how this works, this is the Perfect

HST method by Lee Heinrich from Freshly Pieced. It's a PDF.

It shows you in the instructions, how to use them, the fabric requirements...

There's a cutting chart.

And Lee even gives you a 90 minute pillow project pattern!

Now, you get tons of finished sizes in one PDF.

1" finished, 1 1/2", 2", 2 1/2", 3", 3 1/2", 4..... all the way to 6"

finished templates. That is awesome. As you can see I

am hoarding them.

And I have made a ton of copies for myself in a bunch of sizes because I am so excited. And I love this so much

So let me show you how it works right now. I'm going to show you how to make

The 2" finished ones because let's be honest....I mean if you're making HSTs, you want a quick method. It's because

You don't want to make all of these tiny ones.

With the alternate methods, where you have to mark, and you have to square up, and all of that....

So print out whichever size you want. I've got the 2" finished, and we're going to cut along the dotted lines.

Now, we can take a look at our little piece of paper we cut off the top. We're gonna get twelve 2" finished

HSTs. We need to cut two pieces of fabric to 8" by 8". How easy is that? Alright, so let's do it.

So we have our

Sheet of paper that we've trimmed. We have our two pieces of fabric that are cut to 8" by 8" for this particular

size (2" finished). We're going to put them right sides together and

flip over your paper.

There we go -- add our little fabric.

Okay, and then let's pop a pin in it just to hold it in place while we're stitching.

All I'm gonna do over at my machine is sew on the dotted lines.

That's it. It's so easy.

Okay, right through the pape,r here we go.

Okay, here we are at the sewing machine. I've got my fabric here, my paper on top

I have lowered my size of my stitches to like

1.8 stitches per inch. Just a little bit under 2 - to make it easier to rip out. Just like with paper piecing and I'm positioning my needle right

on the dotted line. And here we go.

Now we've sewn our fabric to the paper and

now it's time to cut. All we do is cut on the black solid line. Here we go

Now just grab your favorite Little Helper. You need some helping hands. Hello little helper! And we just rip the paper off

Easy!

How to Make Macrame or Crochet Bobbins - Duration: 1:47.

So if you don't like making the bundles like this that

literally just fall out as you need it as you tug on it you can always use a clothes pin in order to secure it

as well.

Let me show you how to

set that up and therefore you can use that to be able to organize your yarn when you're doing all your macrame. So taking your

clothes pin just like you have this is the end of the strand.

This is the very last uh, part so this, this where it leads to is going right into the project itself.

So all you're just going to do is just open up your clothes pin and just put it down

before

it goes to this circle. So

okay, so there you see it, and now you're going to take the remaining of this yarn and just

like

snuggly or just securely just kind of wrap the rest of this. You don't want to wrap this to the point that you can't open

up your

clothes pin.

So you can take your whole cord depending on how long it is to be able to apply it to this and

then when you're satisfied with the length of it all you just need to do is that you just have to open up your

clothes pin, just like you see and then just pull the strand through that open circle

just like you see. So now your yarn strand can be held onto there and as you need one yarn

just open it up and just pull a few and then to lock it back in just open it back up and

just put it back inside.

So this would be how to use a clothes pin in order to control your cords and your strands from being able to

come apart on your project.

How to calculate GPA and CGPA? (Grade Point Average) | HD - Duration: 5:04.

How to calculate GPA and C GPA I

Will explain with step-by-step all necessary points in the calculation of GPA and C GPA?

Let me move in my laptop now

GPA stands for grade point average

For our simplification. We just use abbreviation GPA

GPA is an important part of the education system in ranking students

While it lacks a completely standard calculation formula the GPA is nevertheless the most accurate way to measure a student's

Abilities because it accounts for their entire academic career

Including the level of difficulty in both the courses and school

GPA formula is equal to the sum of total credit hours per course multiplied grade received per course

Then divided by total of credit hours per semester

Let me explain this formula GPA calculation. We need to follow four easy steps only first

Multiply each numeric grade value by the number of credits the course worth

Second add these numbers together

This is the total number of quality points

third add a total of credit hours per semester

Fourth divided the total of credit hours per semester by the total number of quality points

Let me explain how to calculate GPA with the help of the example you will very easily understand it

Here one very important thing you must know about GPA scale

The standard GPA is based on 4.0 scale

It will vary university to university you will find this great in your syllabus

University websites and administration office of the university

Let's say we have only four class this semester

The credit hours and obtained grades are mentions in front of you

First we will simply multiply class credit hours with obtained grades points

here in the first course we have four credit hours and obtain a grade a

Grade as per GPA scale value is equal to four

Now we multiply four credit hours with the four grade point

We get sixteen weighted average grade for the first class

Similarly we calculated the weighted average grade for rest of courses

Now we added these weight averages grade sixteen

Nine nine and twenty we get the total 54 of weight average grades

Now we added courses credit hours 4

3 3 & 5

We got 15 total courses credit hours in

Last we divided total 54 of wait average grades by 15 total courses credit hours

We get 3.6. GPA in this case

Now you can easily calculate GPA of any semester

After understanding GPA calculation now I am going to explain how to calculate C GPA

C GPA is also known as cumulative grade point average or overall GPA

We will use the following formula to calculate C. GPA

C GPA is equal to the sum of GPA all semesters divided by sum of credit of all courses

Let me explain the calculation of see GPA with the help of an example

Let's say one student has 22 credit hours in semester one and got GPA

3.5 in second semester 20 credit hours and got GPA 3.2

First we will multiply credit hours with GPA

here in semester

122 credit hours multiplied with GPA 3.5

We get 77 wait average GPA in semester one in

Second semester we again multiply 20 credit hours with GPA 3.2

we get 64 wait average GPA in semester two if

We have another semester. We will follow these step as well

Now we add 77 wait average GPA and 64 wait average GPA

we get

141 total weight average GPA

Now we add 20 to credit hours and 20 credit hours each semester

We get total 42 credit hours in

Leste we divide

141 total of weight average GPA by 42 total credit hours

we get three point 36 CGPA I

hope you understand this concept if

You want to know the hidden methods how to improve your GPA then you will comments below

I will make a video about this topic if a lot of students will show their interest in it

If you thought this video was valuable

Please give it a thumbs up subscribe and leave a comment so other people will know it's worth watching, too

Thanks

How to Choose a Spinning Fishing Reel for Under $100 | BoatUS - Duration: 3:35.

Hi!

I'm Charles Fort, Associate Editor at BoatUS Magazine.

I'm here with Lenny Rudow, Fishing Editor, BoatUS Magazine.

Lenny has just helped me find and buy my first fishing rod for under $100.

And if you haven't seen the video yet, you should.

Now, Lenny, I also want to get a reel for under $100, so what's my next step?

OK, so this is a spinning rod, so you're looking at spinning reels.

But the first thing I need to point out is, $100 budget for a nice spinning reel is, eh,

it's a tight budget.

You can get a competent reel, but you shouldn't expect to get the very best one on the market.

So, let's look at a few of the things that will give you an inkling of the quality of

a reel.

First just pick it up and hold it and give the handle a spin.

You may or may not feel the reel wobbling.

OK, that's called "rotor wobble," and that gives you an idea of how well the reel is

balanced.

The next thing you might want to check for is how smooth the bail is.

Flip it back, and reel it closed.

Flip it back.

Reel it closed.

Several times, and you'll just get some kind of idea for how smoothly these pieces and

parts all work together.

Another test I like to do is to spin the drag.

Now, obviously smoother is better, so just give it a turn, see if it feels smooth as

it goes around.

And in some cases, reels like this Baitrunner here have a secondary drag on the back, so

you'll want to feel for that, too.

You know, Lenny, I think I like this one best.

Wait a minute!

We've got to cover one more detail, Charles.

We also want to look for the anti-reverse system.

Right?

You want to know how quickly this reel stops you from spinning backwards.

That's very important because if there's any play in that system, over time it will get

worse and worse and worse.

This one feels really tight to me.

OK, good, so that one's your favorite?

That's my favorite.

Well, there's one more really important thing we've got to do.

What's that?

We need to mount this reel on the rod, because, don't forget, all of these reels come in different

sizes.

Right.

So let's make sure we've got the right size in our hand for this rod.

And of course often it says on the rod and on the reel, it gives numeric explanations.

This is a 2500.

This may or may not say it, but you always want to try it for yourself.

These numbers vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, so you want to give it a feel.

Let's see what that feels like.

Yeah!

You know, I think this is the one I want.

Excellent!

Well, our work here is done.

One thing I do want to make sure you're aware of, Charles: Don't forget to rinse this reel

off thoroughly with freshwater after every trip in salt or brackish water.

So if I take care of this reel it will last my lifetime?

Well, that's a little bit of a stretch.

You have to remember that you're working at $100 budget.

You're not gonna get the best corrosion resistance in the world.

If you take care of that reel and you get five years out of it, you should be happy.

Maybe if you doubled your budget, you can count on more like a decade.

Got it.

That makes sense.

We hope you folks have found this video helpful, and we hope you'll leave your comments in

the box below.

We have a lot more videos coming out, so don't forget to subscribe to the BoatUS YouTube
