12 Signs Indicating That You're an Outgoing Introvert

You may not know that you may belong to outgoing introvert.

It is actually an introvert person with extrovert traits gets in the way sometimes.

You should know that introversion and extroversion are not as simple as black and white.

It's more like a spectrum, and it will change from time to time.

Some people may fall closer to the end of the spectrum, Which make them either very

introverted, or, very extroverted.

However, most people are actually somewhere in the middle of the spectrum, which is quite

harder to determine.

Let's imagine this for a little, you may have some days where you can't speak to enough

people, and you also have days where you want to hide from the world.

Then, can you justify whether you are an introvert or are you an extrovert?

Well, it's most likely that you're a Hybrid, and don't worry, there are a lot of people

just like you in this world, the real name known for this type of behavior is ambivert.

If you think you are more of an ambivert, you should consider these signs of an outgoing

introvert on this video.

In any case, if you find this information is helpful to you, make sure to like this

video and subscribe to our channel, so you won't miss any of our interesting update in

the future.

So, here are the signs of an outgoing introvert.

#1 - Your energy depends on environment.

Music, number and types of people, noise level, and lights around you determine level of your

energy.

#2 - Small talk costs energy.

Depending on your situation, small talk does not interest you.

Small talk for you is exhausting, and that is why you avoid it unless necessary.

#3 - Different people affect you differently.

Certain people make you more energized while some others drown you.

Their attitude and the topic you are discussing with play great role here.

#4 - You are fine being invited into social event

It's true that you are comfortable with staying at home to either read a book or catch up

your favorite movies on Netflix, however, you're not afraid to go out with a group

of people at a social event, in fact, you are enjoying it too.

It could be a club, a bar, or a party, or whichever it is you feel equally satisfied

to do either that or stay at home.

Well, it might take a little bit of prep talk a minutes before you leave the house to go

to a party, but you know that's only a moment to escape the mentality of enjoying a comfortable

evening to yourself.

#5 - Despite that, doesn't mean you enjoy the traditional social system

You know that you enjoy the casual party or event you go to with someone, however, that

doesn't mean you necessarily enjoy going out anywhere in public.

For example, rather than spending an evening going out dinner at mall or any restaurant

with your colleagues worker, you'd rather stay at home under your blankets as you watch

some movies.

Trust me, this is not about being shy or too afraid to speak to people, it's just because

you are still an introvert inside.

You feel it's unnecessary to spend your time and energy on people you barely tolerate

at work when you can do something more enjoyable instead.

In fact, any place where you'll be forced to socialize with people you barely consider

companions is a place you'd rather miss out on because you only have so much energy

to spare on people.

#6 - Deep thinker while being conversationalist.

You like to talk to others when the conversation is predicted to be fruitful and meaningful.

This makes you look charming and talkative while people not realizing that your mind

may be away from you.

#7 - Mildly Selective.

You choose friends that will make you feel energized.

Typically, you do not have plenty, but they are high quality friends who can fulfill your

needs.

#8 - People are interesting and exhausting.

Hanging out is great, but you need to recharge alone once in a while.

#9 - Going out after hibernation.

Outgoing introverts need to recharge after a while.

Once the energy is full, you are ready to go with your friends.

#10 - Warming up is important.

Every time you meet new people, you need to warm up before engaging with them.

#11 - Crowds' proof.

Most of the time, you do not want to show off.

You only want a person or two from the crowd know you while letting the others to proof

your ability through the way you behave.

#12 - People think you are extrovert.

Sometimes, people think you are extrovert because you like hanging out with people.

They may be confused too as you get a lot of energy even though you describe yourself

as introvert.

Well, those are some of the signs indicating that you're an outgoing introvert.

Yaḥsabūna Annahum Yuḥsinūna Ṣun'an (18:104) - Duration: 31:47.

Dastūr ya Rijālu Llāh madad, madad.

As-Salāmu 'alaykum,

Ḥāḍirīn wa l-ghā'ibīn

whom they are attending

here and for everyone through East and West,

who attending

to hear something that

it is an honor to hear -

heavenly words and

to ask from heavenly ones

to correct our

positions and

to support

weak Muslim servants

against shayṭānic groups. May Allāh

as He likes, may take them

away to an unknown

direction or

to bring them for

hearing and listening

from heavenly words that gives them honor.

And we are saying A'ūdhu biLlāhi mina sh-shayṭāni r-rajīm.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm.

That is our -

for our Lord's ta'ẓīm wa t-takrīm,

most respect, most high respect

to our Creator and our Lord

Allāh Almighty to say. We're standing and

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm.

O people,

keep that honor. Don't forget it. Who forgets

Allāh Almighty, going to be

forgotten.

If a person forgotten,

no chance for that one

here or hereafter. O people,

O attenders through East and West, it is

a humble meeting here but

your technology

taking this humble,

humble meeting and association

through East and West. Take care

and be follower of the

holy commands of Allāh Almighty.

All of us are servants.

Don't be cheated by shayṭān

and its agents that

imitating titles

giving to you more than that

obedience or never

taking away your honor from servanthood.

Servanthood last horizon

for mankind.

Servanthood.

Lordship only for

the Creator who created.

O our attenders,

hear and listen and try to understand.

We are on last stage

of mankind, the last level.

And other levels going to up up up

and our addressing

to most simple ones.

To be simple, better not to be

complication. Complication

giving nothing to you. But simpleness,

simpleness always good for

servants. Servants must try

to be simple ones. But our egos never happy

to be a simple one.

Our egos are students of

shayṭān. And shayṭān is teacher

for all egos.

And everyone, we have an ego.

Ego. And everyone they have

egoistic desires.

Now we are living 21st century.

All people's request is

egoistic desires.

They are requesting

egoistic

requests.

Everyone, everyone except

that it is mentioned through

ḥadīth Nabawi sharīf

Sayyidinā Muḥammad (saw).

That standing up

making our egos very angry

as well as more than our egos.

shayṭān going to be very, very

angry. Pfu on shayṭān

and its followers, bishukh 'alayhim.

I am sending Green Shaykh, bishukh 'alayhim.

And because ... (?)

bishabbi'hum bighusiluhum ghusl.

Marḥaban. Marḥaban.

Try to be,

ahlan, suitable

for accepting, ahlan wa sahlan -

that angels

saying for someones when they are leaving this life.

And welcoming angels

say to them: ahlan wa sahlan.

Try to be from those people that angels

should welcome you by saying:

"ahlan wa sahlan, welcome. Welcome,

good servants."

All of us servants

but some of ourselves good servants,

some others bad servants.

Try to be from good servants.

Who is good servant? Whom following Prophets,

particularly Seal of Prophets, Sayyidi l-awwalīna wa l-ākhirīn,

who following last one, most

Beloved, most glorified one

in Divinely Presence Sayyidinā Muḥammad (saw).

Who following him, they are good servants

and others bad servants.

Whom they are? They are followers of diablo

and satanas and shayṭān

and 'ifrīt.

Look in which table

written your name.

Under good servant's table

or bad servant's table?

Both servants, no one

can get out from servanthood,

but some of them, they are accepting that

they are servants for the Lord of heavens and trying to follow

His divinely orders. Everyone whom

following Divinely orders of

the Lord of heavens just dressed in

dress of honor.

But

egoistic

people that they are

always running

to make their egos pleased

and in pleasure, those bad servants.

Bad servants coming the Day of Resurrection and

just have been sent

under the flag of shayṭān

and 'ifrīt, diablos and its,

its followers. Bad servants should be taken on that way,

left way. All leftists

they are bad servants

under the flag, dirty flag of

shayṭān. They should be taken away from

the Judgment Day

and should be taken there

and putting in front of them shayṭān

and they are following shayṭān. Because shayṭān

that one who representing bad servanthood.

Now whole world running after its

dirty flag.

Everyone running under

shayṭān's dirty flag.

And they are thinking that

they are doing their best.

Never they are doing their best. Best

doing people whom following good ones

that they are followers holy commands of

heavens. O people through East and West,

try to hear and try to

listen and try to understand.

It is so easy and simple,

our mission. All of us servants

but some of ourselves good servants

and some others bad servants. Look,

you are going to take,

you are going as you were following

through this life. Whom they are following

bad, worst way,

they should be taken from

bad servanthood

wing.

"yaḥsabūna annahum yuḥsinūna ṣun'an" (18:104)

(they think they are doing good) O salafī 'ulamās, now

you must teach people. You must teach people.

It is a holy verse,

one part of holy verse from Holy Qur'ān

that giving a whole description

for shayṭān's followers,

bad servants. They are thinking

"Yaḥsabūna annahum yuḥsinūna ṣun'an" (18:104)

They are running through

sewage channels and they say "We do our best."

Yāhu this dirtiness running in it. How you are saying? "No, very good."

That therefore, two kinds life

for people now. People

they are asking a clean life,

an honorable life,

honored and glorified life. Some others

running after sewage channels

and they are thinking that that is best.

Therefore, now people

living was on two ways.

Majority on sewage

channel's followers. They like it.

They never understanding from forbidden

things. They are saying "We are not taking any care

from prohibited

things. No. What it is

pleasure for us, we are running in it.

We are not looking this ḥalāl,

permitted, that is ḥarām, forbidden. No.

Our egos, what making them

happy and in pleasure, we are running in it."

Then the Day of Resurrection they are going to look

"Where we are?" You are in sewage channels.

O people, if we are saying

one from percent

asking a clean life,

don't be surprised.

No. You may say "Yes".

99% never taking any care

for ḥalāl and ḥarām.

They never asking clean or dirty.

They are only running

after their egoistic desires

maybe as a pig,

as a pig. If one of them

dead, they are coming on it, others, and eating.

Therefore, Allāh Almighty making ḥarām,

prohibited to eat pigs

meat. Pigs is dirty ones

because they are eating dirty.

Even they are eating their dead ones.

And they are saying

"What? What delicious for today?"

If no, what they are

their dirty, eating their dirty also.

But mankind not thinking on it.

And they are saying why

Allāh Almighty

prohibited His servants not to eat

pigs. Now so many

young ones that they have been cheated

by shayṭānic agents,

they are saying "Why we are not eating

pigs meat?"

I am saying to them that because

pigs eating their dirty

and eating their dead bodies or other one's

bodies also, dead bodies.

21st century people, they never

trying to distinguish with clean one and dirty one,

ḥalāl and ḥarām. They are not saying. Everything.

Eat dirtiness.

Ḥāshā mina l-ḥuḍūr I am saying to those shayṭān

followers. If you are saying "doesn't matter",

you are asking that you may fall one day in

a dirty well

and eat there and drink

till you are going to die. Ḥafaẓana Llāh

All Prophets coming and teaching people

cleanliness. And Islām's

first command - be clean.

But shayṭān that never likes to be clean.

But they are saying that

clean is dirty and dirty is clean. O people,

use your minds and mentalities.

Now we are in holy month of

Ramaḍān mubārak. Mubārak for you.

Mubārak for those whom they are giving their respects,

high respects to this holy month.

And we are asking from

holy ones a protection

from our egos and egoistic desires,

to cut it through this holy month,

not to come back.

Carcass.

Someone may say that is carcass, it is dirty.

Perhaps, someone leaving, going away.

All of them going away. But some of them

after Ramaḍān saying "Doesn't matter, we must

come back to our carcass." No. Ramaḍān

coming for cleaning ummah,

the nation of Sayyidinā Muḥammad (saw).

When you are going to eat clean,

don't come once again to walk

or to drink or to eat from dirty

sewage channels. That is all. We may say,

from now up to next Jum'ah

never finishing. But

the main point that we are

reminding mankind: O people,

come and be clean ones. If not, you know.

May Allāh forgive us. For the honor of the Seal of prophets,

for the honor of this full honored month

and full ornamented

with Laylatu l-Qadr, keep your

high respect through this Ramaḍān mubārak.

Allāh knows who is whom. It can be reaching

for coming Ramaḍān. Don't say "I am young".

Young people, yes, they hope to live

but whom they are like me or

a little bit younger than me,

they must not give a chance

to their egos that you may reach

next year. This year,

this as a market. Just open.

But they come and take as you are asking to take.

Because this market

may be next year closed down. Or

you can't reach to that second market

through this holy month.

Beware of shayṭān. Allāhumma yā Rabbi.

aḥfaẓnā yā Rabbī, ij'alnā yā Rabbī fī ḥirḍika wa ḥawḍika amānika

We are cleaning through this month

and we are asking from the Lord of heavens,

for the honor of His most honored one,

not to make us to be once again

in dirty channels, sewage channels,

not to fall in it. May Allāh forgive us.

Tawbah yā Rabbī. Tawbah yā Rabbī. Tawbah astaghfiru Llāh.

Tawbah yā Rabbī. Tawbah yā Rabbī. Tawbah astaghfiru Llāh.

Lā ilāha illā Llāh. Lā ilāha illā Llāh.

Lā ilāha illā Llāh. Sayyidinā Muḥammadun Rasūlu Llāh (saw).

Fātiḥah.

"Enemies in Love": An Unlikely Romance Between a Black Nurse and a German POW - Duration: 4:20.

SOLEDAD: TODAY, ONE IN SIX NEWLYWEDS MARRY SOMEONE OUTSIDE THEIR RACE.

THAT IS A STEEP RISE FROM 1967 WHICH IS THE YEAR THE SUPREME COURT LEGALIZED INTERRACIAL MARRIAGE IN THE LANDMARK CASE LOVING VERSUS VIRGINIA.

TWO DECADES BEFORE THAT, ANOTHER FOR BID IN LOVE STORY WOULD TEST THE BOUNDARIES OF AMERICA'S TOLERANCE.

ELEANOR POWELL WAS AFRICAN AMERICAN AND A NURSE DURING WORLD WAR II.

BECAUSE OF HER RACE, SHE PULLED THE SECOND CLASS ASSIGNMENT WORKING IN A GERMAN POW CAMP.

ARMY LEADERS PUT BLACK NURSES WITH THE POWS TO AVOID THE RISK OF ROMANCE.

BUT AN UNLIKELY LOVE STORY DID UNFOLD.

FREDERICK ALBERT, A SOLDIER IN HITLER'S ARMY, FELL IN LOVE WITH ELEANOR.

A JOURNALIST UNCOVERED THE STORY AND WROTE A BOOK ABOUT IT.

IT'S CALLED "EMILY -- ENEMIES AND LOVE." HOW DID THEY MEET?

>> THEY MET IN THE MESS HALL IN THE CAMP.

FREDERICK WAS A COOK.

ELEANOR ENTERS AND FREDERICK SAID IT WAS LIKE HE WAS UNDER A SPELL.

HE APPROACHED HER AND SAID YOU SHOULD KNOW MY NAME, I AM THE MAN WHO IS GOING TO MARRY YOU.

SOLEDAD: YOU WRITE ABOUT THIS IN THE BOOK.

ONE OF THE THINGS THAT IS SO STRANGE -- THAT IS VERY ROMANTIC , BUT LET'S REMEMBER, FREDERICK IS FIGHTING IN HITLER'S ARMY.

ELEANOR IS A BLACK WOMAN.

AND WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THE 1940'S.

>> EVERYTHING WAS WRONG ABOUT THIS IN EVERY WHICH WAY.

SOLEDAD: WAS FREDERICK NOT IDEOLOGICALLY ALIGNED WITH THE NOT SEIZE?

>> HE WAS A SOLDIER WHO WAS DRAFTED LIKE EVERYONE WAS DRAFTED.

HE DID NOT HOLD THOSE VIEWS.

SOLEDAD: ONE AS A POW AND ONE IS WORKING UNDER PRETTY NOT GREAT CONDITIONS.

>> HE WAS KIND.

THEY STARTED TO FALL IN LOVE WHEN HE VOLUNTEERED IN THE HOSPITAL.

THROUGH THEIR OWN FLIRTATIONS, OR SOMETIMES HE HELD BAKING CLASSES SHE WOULD ATTEND, HE MADE HER FEEL VERY DESIRABLE AND WANTED.

THEY FELL IN LOVE AND WOULD BE TOGETH IN SECRET.

BUT APPARENTLY WORD GOT OUT THAT , HE WAS SEEING HER AND HE WAS PUNISHED AND SEVERELY BEATEN.

AND IT WAS NOT THAT HE WAS WITH AN AMERICAN.

HE WAS WITH AN AFRICAN-AMERICAN.

SOLEDAD: ONCE THE WAR ENDED, THEY WERE ABLE TO MAKE THEIR RELATIONSHIP -- I CANNOT SAY OFFICIAL BECAUSE INTERRACIAL MARRIAGE WOULD BE ILLEGAL UNTIL 1967.

>> SHE BECOMES PREGNANT AND HE'S DEPORTED AFTER THE WAR ENDS JUST LIKE ALL THE GERMANS POWS.

THEY ARE SENT BACK.

AND SO SHE RETURNS TO HER NATIVE TOWN OF MILTON MASSACHUSETTS AS AN UNWED MOTHER PREGNANT WITH A GERMAN PRISONER OF WAR BABY.

BUT THAT WAS THEIR PLAN BECAUSE THEY KNEW HE WOULD HAVE A GREATER CHANCE OF BEING ABLE TO RETURN TO SUPPORT HIS CHILD, AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED.

SOLEDAD: EVENTUALLY THEY MOVED BACK TO GERMANY.

WHY?

>> HE WAS THE SON OF A VERY PROMINENT ENGINEER WHO HAD A COMPANY.

HE WAS BEING POSITIONED AND GROOMED TO TAKE OVER.

BECAUSE THEY STRUGGLED FOR HOUSING AND TO FIND JOBS AS A MIXED-RACE COUPLE IN THE UNITED STATES -- SOLEDAD: A THOUGHT GERMANY POST-WORLD WAR II, POST

HITLER'S, MIGHT BE A BETTER OPTION.

>> SO THEY MOVED BACK TO GERMANY AND HIS PARENTS.

THEY HAD A LARGE BEAUTIFUL HOME.

AND IT WAS A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE . SOLEDAD: ELEANOR WAS NOT WELCOMED BY HIS FAMILY.

>> THE TOWN THAT LARGE WAS SO UNFAMILIAR WITH BLACKS IN GENERAL.

THEY SAW BLACK GIS IN THE OCCUPATION, BUT AS FAR AS THIS WHITE GERMAN FROM A WEALTHY FAMILY BRINGING HOME A BLACK WIFE, IT WAS UNHEARD OF.

SOLEDAD: THE BOOK IS A GREAT LOOK AT THAT CHUNK OF TIME IN AMERICAN HISTORY.

Simple Changes Can Make A Big Difference - Losing 10 Pounds in 2 Weeks - Duration: 7:20.

it really motivates me watching videos like this you just see these people just

working incredibly hard and they lose a lot of weight and they really better

themselves and I just really wish that I could take the time to do

something like that but if you're like me you feel like you never have enough

time and that's how I felt until recently this is me I'm a husband and a

father I have a full-time job that requires me to set up my desk for most

of the day I used to be in really good shape but because of bad decisions and

the worries of life I am where I am today I just want to make sure I'm here for my

family for as long as I can be now I've done some things in the past to try to

help me lose a little weight and to try to get back into shape but they weren't

the right type of thing so they just weren't sustainable that's why I've

decided this simple man is going to take a simple approach to getting back into

shape and I'm going to show you exactly how I did it

so starting out I know this sounds so simple and basic but the truth is I was

pretty clueless about my lifestyle that's when I decided I needed to I to

myself so I can come up with a plan going forward that's why I decided to

get a Fitbit in case you're not familiar with a Fitbit it's basically a pedometer

that counts your steps and estimates how many calories you've burned for a day it

also has an app that's really useful and it can actually help you track a whole

lot more here's what I found out about myself I'm a typical day I would take

anywhere from 6,000 to 8,000 steps if I was lucky I would drink maybe 32 ounces

of water that's roughly 100 milliliters I would eat anywhere between twenty six

hundred and three thousand four hundred calories a day my basal metabolic rate

was 1993 which basically means if I did absolutely nothing each day my body

would still burn 1993 calories to maintain the same size if you're curious

what your basal metabolic rate is I'll go ahead and include the link to the

calculator I used below that way you can find out for yourself

so my body burns 1993 calories everyday regardless of my activity level after

you add in the amount that I move around will say 7,500 steps for example it

bumps that number up to roughly two thousand four hundred and twenty-five

calories a day to maintain but I'm eating roughly three thousand calories a

day honestly three thousand calories can

come on pretty quick once you start to really pay attention to them so I have a

calorie surplus of five hundred and seventy five calories per day roughly

now this can vary wildly depending on what I'm doing each day and the things I

eat but it's easy to see how you can add extra weight in no time on top of this

I'm probably severely dehydrated opting to drink other things outside of water

while the thought of joining a gym and going all out sounds appealing I know

myself and after two weeks I'd be burnout not to mention the money and

time so I decided to try and up my step count to a daily goal of 15,000 when I

hit the 15,000 steps a day my calories burned jumped up to 3200 I'm able to hit

the school about 85% of the time I started taking the longer out to places

I also tried to go for a nightly walk and even walk in my yard in the evening

when I'm not able to go for a walk at the very least I would try to walk or

run in place while watching TV just to get my steps in the Fitbit is actually

quite motivating it's a constant reminder on my wrist to be more active

when I otherwise probably wouldn't have been secondly I needed to rein in my

eating I decided that the number of calories I was going to shoe for would

be 1800 a day or close to it I also closely monitored my food for the

first week after about the first week I gotten fairly comfortable with what I

should be eaten and decided that I wouldn't monitor it quite as close to

next week if this video is popular enough and I get requests for it I'll

create another video on what I ate as I did start to move towards healthier

options but to keep this video fairly short most of the time I just paid

attention to the calories rather than the macros of the food the final step in

my plan was to increase my water this also meant trying to cut back on

probably my worst habit drinking soda typically every day around lunchtime I'd

want to get out of the office for a quick bit so I'd run down to the store

and get a 32 ounce coke this is roughly 3,000 extra calories every day by

replacing that with water I'm saving a nice chunk of calories right there also

just if you're curious I haven't completely given up soda I still allow

myself to per week I also noticed though that my skin looked much better after

increasing my water intake and if you feel like snacking try drinking a glass

of water first it's surprising how many times you're actually thirsty rather

than hungry because after I would drink water

my hunger would usually go away for a good while these simple things aren't

too hard right with them in place I went from a daily calorie surplus of 500

seventy-five to a calorie deficit of 1400 so here I am two weeks later

me so here I am two weeks later in two

weeks I was able to lose 10 pounds and drop my body fat down 3% my blood

pressure also benefited from the changes dropping from 140 over 74 to 108 over 74

the great thing about this plan is it's sustainable

even if I decide to eat more than 1,800 calories for the day I'm now more active

in burning more calories so this helps me to stay in better shape when you

first start out there days that you just want to call it quits because honestly

it's easier and less restrictive to not worry about it but you keep with it

because you're getting tired of being fat and after a few days it starts to

become the norm you start seeing results when I look in the mirror now I stop

seeing what I currently look like and I start seeing what I could look like here

in the near future it's really motivating now that I've taken these

first few steps literally I think I'm ready to go on to some more steps that's

the thing one small positive change leads to another and another and before

you know it you're accomplishing more than you thought you could have a short

while ago

Use an Affinity Diagram to organize your issues/ideas.【Excel Template】 - Duration: 6:02.

Today I'll introduce one of the New 7 QC tools, the Affinity Diagram, and its template.

[Intro Video]

Hi, this is Mike Negami, Lean Sigma Black Belt.

I'm writing a book right now with another author and it's a novel.

As you're enjoying reading the novel, you can learn Project Management and Lean Sigma.

I would like to publish this book this year.

The co-author created a lot of problems in the book's fictional company and the main

character is struggling about what to do next.

One thing he used was the Affinity Diagram, which is also called the KJ Method.

I made an Affinity Diagram template and it has a function for you to prioritize your

ideas.

This is a completed example.

You can write down all your idea items and organize them by affinity and think about

group names easily.

This gives hints to think about the next action plan from out of many problems.

For another application, this Affinity Diagram is also very useful when you have a lot of

unclear ideas and want to think about what to do next.

These are the problems in the company my co-author made.

There are 12 problems, from big to small for one chapter.

Let's organize them using the template.

The instructions are written on the right side of the template.

Write the subject of your ideas.

This time, I wrote "To list all problems and organize them."

Next, I'll write all the problems mentioned earlier in Column B.

This is what I did.

Since you'll use those sentences to prioritize them later, make them short and concise.

Next, we'll categorize all the items.

Look at each item and put a group # on the same category items in Column D. The first

one is always #1.

Since none of the first three items relates to each other, I'll give them different

numbers.

The fourth one has an affinity with the second one.

In that way, number all the items.

This is what I did.

Next, sort the table by the auto filter in Column D so that the same category items are

sorted vertically.

This will help you to easily see which category each group is.

Write each group name in Column E. This is what I made.

Now, my Affinity Diagram is complete.

Next, click the 'Create Text Boxes' button here.

Then, text boxes that contain the group name and each sentence written in Column B will

be automatically created.

Additionally, all text boxes are color-filled in different colors by group.

You'll use the text boxes to prioritize them.

Since you have so many items you have to deal with, unless you know the priority of your

items, you can't make a good action plan.

According to the time management of Stephen Covey's book 'The 7 Habits of Highly Effective

People', you can prioritize your actions by considering only the 'Importance' and

'Urgency' of each item.

Please watch the video at the link above.

You can do that prioritizing in the lower half of this template.

The vertical axis is 'Importance' and the horizontal axis is 'Urgency'.

Then, there are four areas such as, 'Important and Urgent', 'Important but not Urgent',

'Not Important but Urgent' 'Not Important or Urgent'.

There are two important points here.

One is that the 2nd quadrant, 'Important, but not Urgent' has higher priority than

the 3rd quadrant, 'Not Important, but Urgent'.

Many people misunderstand this point.

The other point is that you should clarify the criteria for 'Importance'.

Therefore, write your answer for "What do you most want to accomplish at this time?"

here.

The main character of my book wrote "To stabilize the all operations without lowering productivity."

The more related to this answer my items are, the more 'Important' they will be on the

chart.

We'll evaluate the contents of the text boxes just created, one by one, and place

them on the chart appropriately.

This is the one I did.

How to sew an easy French Seam | Teach Me Fashion - Duration: 5:45.

Hi everyone its George from Teach Me Fashion, in todays tutorial

I'm going to be showing you how to sew a French seam. I highly recommend using a French seam. If you are

using beautiful fabric like silk

or if you don't own an overlocker at home to finish the edge of your fabric, a French seam is a

concealed seam and

it leaves your garment with a clean and professional finish.

I often use a French seam at home when I'm doing a lot of home sewing and

I'm sure you will too after you see how easy it really is to sew in a French seam.

Check out and stay tuned for this tutorial

And I'm sure you will be using French seams after you see how easy it really is

Okay guys, so we're going to start now this will be the only time where you

will have your fabric

facing the wrong sides together, so here you can see I've got the pattern on this side, and that's my wrong side

So I'm going to keep that together

And I find pinning

helps stabilizes

Your fabric in place whilst you sew, so you can do that just like this.

Okay, so before you start sewing we're going to stitch a straight line

about half a centimeter or the foot width of your machine all the way down here and

Make sure you back tack at the start and at the end so it stabilises the stitch in place

So after sewing that straight stitch you will have something that looks like this

You'll have a seam that pokes up just like this as you spread out the fabric what I recommend doing now

That the second step is ironing open that seam

You're opening that up nice and flat ironing it so when you do the next step

it's really easy to do and then obviously is a lot easier as I'm using it on a stable fabric, but on a

delicate silk I recommend

Ironing every step that you go

So I have ironed that open

and pushed the seam to one side and

Now what you'll need to do is pin in place so you're folding the fabric back onto itself so now it is

Right-side fabrics together, and this is where your seam is going to be enclosed

so just pin that in place making sure that your

Seam on the other side lines up

and

This stabilizes the fabric in place so you don't get any

Ribbed sections as you sew or ripples as you call it

As you go, as you pin along obviously it's different on a longer garment.

Just use your thumb, and your pointer finger to roll back the seams

so that it's

Nice and tight the seam will be nice and tight

So this is pretty much the last process besides ironing

you're going to sew a straight stitch

From here to here making sure that you back tack at the start and at the end to stabilize the stitch.

Again and also remove the pins as you go.

I am going to do at least one centimetre seam

So here we go

Place the fabric underneath your foot

Put the foot down, and I always roll my needle into the fabric first before I put my foot down.

So after ironing that nice and flat your French Seam will be beautiful and clean. And it should look like this

Nice and clean and professional

So that is how you sew a French Seam, I hope you found the tutorial really easy to follow and super useful!

I hope you use a French seam in your next garment and also

An Honest Conversation With God - Answered Prayers - Duration: 8:29.

don't you love it when God answers a prayer it's awesome but what about when

he doesn't answer your prayer anybody ever tell you that you just don't have

enough faith well maybe you didn't know this but they're wrong flat-out wrong

these people have no idea what they're talking about so let's talk about it

Barry Smith here pastor for 25 years published author and a guy who doubts

God's power and don't get me wrong I mean I know he can answer prayer but

sometimes I don't think he will especially when I know it's impossible

I love boating there's nothing like going out on a body of water the wind

blowing in your hair the smell of dead fish and saltwater the Sun beating down

and if you've ever owned a boat you know this to be true it's like throwing

dollar bills y'all right up into the air as you're cruising around in your boat

out of college I moved back in with my parents

don't we all they lived on the water in Florida where the Peace River met

Charlotte Harbor and eventually it went out into the Gulf of Mexico

I love boating so much that I went out and bought a brand-new 18-foot Maxim

open bow boat with a 90 horsepower force motor it was a long time ago

there was a great boat especially for my first one but as it got a little older

it'd be hard to start and when that happened and sadly it often did the

battery would die and then it was done complete I had to get a jump to get it

started and it happened numerous times I knew my boat so I was about 23 and

volunteered at a local youth ministry at a church and the youth pastor there he

discipled me that just means he spent a lot of time with me doing life and

sharing the scriptures he was truly amazing so I wanted to thank him by

taking him on a boat ride and fishing trip out in the Gulf of Mexico in my 18

foot open bow boat it was a beautiful day but it was really wavy the

roly-polies were coming in and the Gulf had tossed me around like a little toy

anyway it wasn't dangerous but if a storm came in which it always did we

would be a trouble so we fish and fish but we didn't catch anything and I

thought we should probably be getting back before that after a noon storm

comes in and hits so I wouldn't start the motor hurt nothing

I tried several times but nothing the battery was completely dead we're

done we're not going anywhere until we get a jump or we get towed

I knew my boat we could see land but I was still freaking out seriously did I

mention I knew my boat we were sunk for sure pun intended and

there's only one boat a nice shot of us and it's leaving we got to do something

quick I know I'll honk the horn and get the other boats attention yeah dead

battery so we're gonna die out here we have got to get some help and we got to

get it now well my youth pastor really showed no concern at all but he said hey

maybe we should just pray really I know God is God and all but prayer isn't

gonna help here we just got to get a jump or get towed in this is a waste of

time the only boat that we can see is leaving so after some quick wrestling

with God I said okay let's pray he prays a simple prayer that God would start to

both God we've had a great day out here and join your amazing creation we love

you and we know that you love us meanwhile the boats leaving the other

boat and you're in complete control here and whether you start the boat or not

your plan is always the best plan but we have a need here could you please just

start the boat so that we can get going amen

seriously that's it I mean he's a youth pastor and all I figured there'd be some

flowery words and some more passion right even some begging God but no just

an honest conversation about God's greatness and his deal being more

important than our deal and our dependence on him to provide I'm

guessing he saw the panic in me but he just follows God's lead and asks if we

could pray but I knew it wasn't gonna start I knew that for sure don't you

hate it when God puts us in a situation where we know something can't happen or

he ask us to do something that we know we can't do it's miserable I believe

there are two reasons we often don't have an honest conversation with God

number one we don't want to come clean with God for fear or embarrassment or

pride number two we're afraid God is going to ask us to do the impossible he

might ask us to do something crazy like move to Africa but give all my money

away or my job and just trust him that's not

wise but here's the thing if we can trust God to forgive our sin and provide

eternal life with him don't you think the creator of the world knows what's up

in your life and that he can handle it think about Mary the mother of Jesus the

Virgin remember her Luke 1 verse 31 you will conceive and give birth to a son

and you were to call him Jesus he will be great and will be called son of the

Most High virgins can't have kids that's

impossible everybody knows that it just can't

happen just like my boat starting it's not gonna start

I knew my boat I've done this a dozen times over a dozen times it happens the

same way every time we have to get a jump so here we are in the Gulf of

Mexico the only possible rescue boat is now motoring away seriously they pulled

up their anchor and they're leaving and he starts this long prayer a short

prayer but it seemed long my heart's racing and even after my youth pesters

calm prayer he says well why don't you give it a try and I'm like well this is

stupid but okay vroom and he starts oh my god are you

kidding me he smiles let's go no we can't go we're not going anywhere you

don't understand that's impossible that can't have happened God started my

boat no matter what you say God started my boat seriously there's no other way

explain this it's impossible it can't happen

there was a zero chance that this was going to start so with God all things

are possible my youth pastor wasn't a spirit spiritual giant he was just

having an honest conversation with God there will come a time for followers of

Christ when God will interrupt you with an invitation where you're going to say

that's impossible God you're asking me to forgive someone

after what they've done to me that's unrealistic God you're asking me to be

generous and to tithe 10% when I don't have very much money right now that's

not possible God you want my marriage healed after

all we've been through there's no way we can have the same marriage let alone a

good one God how in the world could I ever

reconcile my relationship with my kid after what they said and after what I

did it's broken forever for sure I'm sure of it it may be

impossible for you but nothing is impossible for God you just need to have

an honest conversation with him my youth pastor was just doing what believers are

supposed to do pray the outcome is up to God starting

that engine with a dead battery that was all on God and that was about 30 years

ago and I still remember like it was

yesterday God interrupted my plans with a possible life-threatening dead battery

but he had something better in mind his glory and his outcome and an honest

conversation with him you see I didn't believe I mean I believe in God but this

was impossible why even ask and many has been told that when our prayers aren't

answered it's because we don't have enough faith that's bunk I didn't have

enough faith but God stepped in in the midst of my doubt and answered the

prayer anyway here's how Mary responded to the virgin birth plan after her

initial shock Luke 1:38 I am The Lord's servant Mary answered may your word to

me be fulfilled that's a surrender park your deal above

my deal only you guys can do this and that's a scary but an awesome place to

be maybe you're in that situation right now I encourage you have the honest

conversation with him and believe in trust that God can do the impossible

because he just might very well surprise you if you haven't seen the first two

videos in this series they explain how to pray effectively and if you like this

video please give us a thumbs up or a like subscribe to the Bell hit the

button so that you'll get every one of our weekly messages and our podcasts and

if you're going through a tough time and you're facing an impossible situation

right now and God's asking you to do the impossible or trust him for the

impossible post in the comments below I need some prayer and I promise you we'll

pray for you just comment below I need some prayer until next time

you

10 Reasons Why You Should NEVER Underestimate And Mess With an Empath - Duration: 6:12.

10 Reasons Why You Should NEVER Underestimate And Mess With an Empath

First things, empaths are incredibly powerful individuals, that's why I wouldn't recommend

that you underestimate one of them.

They are outstanding at reviewing people body language and also, they are the best mind

detectives!

The best means to describe empaths is: the knowing just happen.

They understand how to read individuals, and they typically aren't easily misleaded.

If you are an unfaithful type of companion, then don't get with an empath ever.

You will soon take pleasure in the preference of your very own medicine.

Empaths are born with special gift; they have the capability to feel others feelings.

Although this is handy when you require somebody to speak with, this isn't their primary gift.

Empaths are professionals on human psychology by force of habit.

This gives them the capability to be able to inform when a person is forging, lying,

or just not that they said they were.

Some nice people have harsh objectives, just face it already.

However, Empaths just have the ability to recognize this.

So, In this video, I'm going to share with you 10 reasons why you shouldn't underestimate

the power of empath.

If you find this information is helpful to you, make sure to like this video and subscribe

to our channel, so you won't miss any of our interesting updates in the future.

#1 - Empaths are Essentially Lie Detectors.

When somebody exists, they produce particular subconscious body movements as well as 'ticks',

if you must.

Typical ways to determine a liar is their eye movement, and frustrating purpose to convince

you.

Nonetheless, if you're an empath you currently know this.

You aren't sure how to discuss why you understand, you just do.

It is one of the most famous sensation you'll ever before feel in your gut.

#2 - They Can Recognize Exploitation.

Keep in mind when you were a kid and you wanted something, so you would certainly 'butter

up' your moms and dads to obtain exactly what you desire.

Perhaps that is a southerly term, so basically you're being nice to somebody to gain a benefit

from them.

Do not do this to an empath, they will certainly quit you in your tracks.

You are more likely to get just what you want by saying it directly.

#3 - Do Not Aim To Deceive Them.

Empaths feel other people's feelings, a lot more compared to they would certainly want

as well.

Because of this, they know when you're fabricating.

Do not try and conceal your vicious purposes around an empath, it just won't work.

Empaths can see right through your conniving disguise.

They commonly do not ever approach it either since they are likewise mindful that you undoubtedly

have some type of mental distortion.

#4 - They Know When You're Trying to be Somebody You're Not.

Empaths have the capability to see a personals spirit.

They value your rewards as well as your imperfections!

There is nothing more appealing to an empath compared to a person who is their self.

When you attempt to place on an act, they will know.

So, be confident in your very own skin and don't attempt to be somebody you're not.

Particularly in front of an empath.

#5 - They Know When You're on The Wrong Course.

If you have a compassionate pal and also they are cautioning you concerning things you have

actually been doing, LISTEN TO THEM.

Empaths are so proficient at forecasting self-destruction it is similar to time travel.

They know your subconscious thinking for acting out and also it isn't worth it, and they will

certainly tell you that too.

When an empath is informing you that you are heading for a dark area, then you better seriously

reevaluate your objectives.

#6 - They Know you're not Fine.

" are you alright?"

" yes, I am great."

" No, you're not.

Now please tell me everything."

If you have ever had this conversation with a close friend, they are more than likely

an empath.

Empaths know when you exist, as well as they also recognize when you really feel poor.

Having a friend you can speak to around points is an incredible aid!

Take a good use from your good friend's healing ability and do not try to lie to them for

once.

Don't be afraid; they wish to aid.

#7 - They Can Sense Hatred.

One of the most common senses an empath has is for disgust.

Hatred is such an adverse emotion it emits an adverse energy that is so powerful.

Empaths are attracted away by this feeling.

They typically aren't harmed over your hatred, however would rather not have their spirit

affected by your adverse energy.

They do not sweat any kind of disgust, which often causes individuals to dislike them much

more.

They fit with who they are, and also they anticipate to be nobody else.

#8 - They Know your Prejudices.

Empaths will constantly recognize when you have a covert bias.

If you are distressed by people with various tinted skin, sexual orientation, or individuality

differences, empath will certainly most likely lose interest.

Empathic individuals are not interested in individuals who are shallow or narcissistic.

#9 - They Sense Envy.

Empathic individuals could really feel when you are envious of them.

You might expect this to earn them feel a bit charismatic, but that would be wrong.

Empath's could recognize that you are jealous of them for whatever reason, as well as they

will commonly show humbleness making you feel much more comfortable.

#10 - They Could Check out Lackey's Like a Publication.

Empaths dislike little talk, and they despise sucking up a lot more.

Don't falsely enhance an empath to acquire their love.

They in fact despise this, and also they see just what you're doing.

An Empath's most effective capacity is deciphering people's actions and purposes.

Well, those are the 10 reasons why you shouldn't underestimate the power of empath.

So, Really cool information isn't it?

BREAKING: Devin Nunes Just Released An Unredacted Bombshell On Michael Flynn Investigation(VIDEO)!!! - Duration: 10:44.

Devin Nunes Just Released An Unredacted Bombshell On Michael Flynn Investigation

a federal judge just unloads on Bob Muller's legal team suggesting that

they're lying and only out to get Trump ha does that sound familiar district

judge TS Ellis is hearing the case against former Trump campaign manager

Paul Manafort in the Eastern District of Virginia and in court today he blasted

the special counsels legal team questioning their motives and even their

honesty Ellis told prosecutors you don't really care about Mr Man afford you

really care about what information mr. Man afford can give you to lead you to

mr. Trump in an impeachment or whatever the judge demanded to see the so called

scope memo outlining the range of Muller's Russia probe and when

prosecutors objected it his unrelated material Ellis retorted I'll be the

judge of that and then he added we don't want anyone

in this country with unfettered power it's unlikely you're going to persuade

me the special prosecutor has the power to do anything he or she wants the

American people feel pretty strongly that no one has unfettered power well a

delighted president Trump broke news of the hearing to the NRA annual meeting in

Dallas this afternoon a highly respected judge in Virginia made statements it

says Wall Street Journal it says Judge questions Mullins authority to prosecute

metaphore judge Thiele who was really something very special I hear from many

standpoint sees Davis versus suggested the charges before the US District Court

for the Eastern District of Virginia were just part of the Muller teams

to pressure mr. metaphor into giving up information on president Donald Trump

was in the campaign I've been saying that for a long time to which on well

let's review these developments with house Intel Committee Chairman Devin

Nunez we have a lot to talk about with him chairman Nunez it's good to see you

ts Ellis I know very well he is a senior judge in the Eastern District of

Virginia over a long time ago I interviewed with him I think I even

argued a case before him at one point very well-respected appointed by

President Reagan back in 1987 but he was brutal on the the counsel who was

arguing the case Michael Dreeben who is the basically a Deputy Solicitor General

who's now in the Muller office what were your thoughts on his comments about how

this is really outside the scope of the Muller Authority I was astonished by the

comments the judge made today although it's not surprising everything in this

case Laura has just gone off the rails there's not a day that goes by that

something new crazy doesn't break you know finally just today we were able to

get the two pages that we needed that we now know that Comey and McCabe did in

fact say that general Flynn you know the agents that interviewed

general Flynn didn't think he was lying now we listened to mr. Comey over the

last three weeks run around saying just the opposite so you have the judge

saying that they're lying that the molar teams lying you now have the case where

we now know that mr. Comey has been lying out there publicly this continues

to just I think it's bewildering quite frankly now congressman Jim Comey

basically decided to override the agents including Peter struck who you know we

focus on Struck's techs with Lisa Paige and maybe as an animus against President

Trump but I believe unless I'm wrong I believe Peter struck with one of the

agents who interviewed Mike Flynn and we had heard this from some time now

confirm that Mike Flynn didn't lie Lisa it was up to them meaning poor Mike

Flynn they had the twist of the screws on him to please

guilty to a false statement in order to you know like a lot of people do save

their family save their whatever money they have left and and meanwhile commis

going around saying no no no he lied and this is you know it's it's wild why

would you this is the override the agent this is my question well well look this

isn't new news to us on the Intelligence Committee this has been the problem of

all these issues that they keep classified from the American people so

we knew this very shortly after the interview took place mister the

interview where the FBI agents went into the White House and interviewed mr.

Flynn shortly after that mr. Comey comes in briefs us that's on the record I know

he also briefed other committees so on the record we knew what mr. Comey said

we had the transcripts we have been fighting with the Department of Justice

and the FBI for six weeks to release this information to the American people

we finally have it tonight late on a Friday night this is totally

unacceptable you have the judge from this morning

this has just continued ridiculous behavior it's like they just want to

keep digging and the American people are beginning to understand that the

Department of Justice and the FBI have major problems I have no idea how they

can investigate themselves but evidently they continue to believe they can but

they have so many more documents that they have to provide to us that we that

we needed like yesterday and I hate to have to continue to come out publicly

and talk about this that we are still

yeah let's remind everyone a few weeks ago you were on the show I believe it

was a Friday night if my memory serves me correct maybe it was a Thursday night

and you essentially threatened rod Rosenstein with contempt of Congress or

impeachment if the underlying document the computer document that authorized

the probe of the spying on Carter page surveillance on Carter page wasn't

released he did finally then release that congressman Nunez however now

you're getting slammed in response by CNN and now others

that you are asked for these documents and then you Devon Nunez have a staffer

read them you don't read them so how serious are you you just want to help

the president you're not even reading the documents what about that CNN report

that came out today yeah so look I I enjoy being attacked the first thing I

will tell you is whatever CNN in The New York Times are write or talk about I

don't read their information I will tell you that we're not going to get into the

specifics about how we conduct our investigation but I will tell you Laura

and I've said this numerous times on your show and others is that mr. Gowdy

our lead investigator mr. Gowdy is the one who reviews all the initial

documents with our investigators I'm not going to get into the processes that we

use but as the chairman of the committee when they need documents they come to me

we use the power that we have vested in us by the Constitution to try to force

the Department of Justice and the FBI to comply no but you can see the criticism

yeah I'm trying to help our viewers understand this though when you're when

they come after you and say Nunez is is getting getting these documents I think

a lot of people want you to have these documents then you don't read them it

opens you up to criticism so I mean I don't understand why it compromises the

investigation for you to say I read the documents that are necessary

to do this investigation and I consult with my staff on the you know on the

primary documents but I read those so I don't understand why your reluctance to

say whether you read them or don't read them I don't get that well look this is

first of all what they're talking about they're in that is is that it's a page

and a half what what specifically we were looking for and that as you may

remember is we are looking we're investigating the State Department we

are looking for any official intelligence that came across through

the five eyes channels that's what we were looking for that was not in the

document so at that point at this point we have other lines of inquiry that

we're going down we have subpoena out there and so you

know this is this is why you know we can play process games all the time but at

the L day long but at the end of the day here yeah you know

we continue to have our investigation blocked we continue to have to deal with

the missing from disinformation campaigns well I'm a and this is what

the left always does just so I mean everyone who watches this show

understands because they've done it to me they've tried to when you're

effective and when you're holding people accountable and if you are conservative

or if you've ever supported the president you are a target and so that's

why you know all the articles floating around about you and Paul Ryan should

take you off the committee that was a couple of weeks ago it's it's

predictable I want to read for you a comment by Eric Lichtblau about what's

happened to the FBI he said many view Trump's attacks as self-serving he's

called the renowned agency an embarrassment to our country and its

investigations of its business and political dealings as a witch-hunt but

as much as the bureau's roughly fourteen thousand special agents might like to

tune out the news internal and external reports have found lapses throughout the

agency and longtime observers looking past the partisan haze see a troubling

picture something really is wrong at the FBI now that's not Devin Nunez saying

that that is a lick plow sang it yeah this is what I've I've actually conveyed

this to director ray he has a tough tough job to do he needs to clean the

place up I've said this also publicly there we don't see a systemic problem

out in the field with field agents or with people overseas that are doing very

difficult work trying to track down terrorists and other bad guys where we

do see a problem is in Washington DC now - director Ray's credit you have seen

many of the Comey era people have been excused that's a

good sign it would be even better is if director ray made sure that we get this

information that we need in a timely manner congressman thank you so much for

joining us tonight we really appreciate it

thank you god bless you and God bless america

A short history of knowledge, from feudalism to the Internet | Alice Dreger - Duration: 4:05.

Peer review is not a simple thing because humans do it and so whenever there's humans

there will be bias introduced, relationships get complicated with regard to peer review.

We have a fantasy that peer review will be totally anonymous on both ends – you won't

know who the person you're reviewing is and they won't know who you are and it will

all be blind.

But in reality people figure out in peer review who is who and biases do get introduced.

But that said, the idea of peer review is a really important one and we can sort of

approach it and that's the idea that we have people who are qualified judging each

other's work.

It allows us to essentially crowd source knowledge and to have an opportunity where blind spots

are picked off, where errors are picked up and where we can make work better.

So it's essentially a way to crowd source knowledge.

I want to point out by the way that peer review is historically really interesting.

It came out of the enlightenment period.

So this was the period when thinkers were beginning to really appreciate the idea that

humans together could know more.

And what's fascinating is that democracy and science grew up together and they both

use peer review.

So science uses peer review because scientific ideas are put forth and then scientists are

qualified to do so, judge that work.

And in democracy peer review is used in things like voting systems so when we do voting that's

a peer review form.

When we do judging of criminal or non-criminal acts in courts that's a form of peer review

when we have a jury.

And so it's not a coincidence because what was happening was the thinkers of the enlightenment

were beginning to figure out that more people looking at a problem could to get you better

knowledge.

Before the enlightenment the concept was knowledge came from above, it came from the church,

from the state, from God, it came from an external higher authority.

But the real revelation of the enlightenment was the idea that people could do this themselves

they didn't have to rely on the church, the state, God, an external authority, they

could to do it themselves.

And so they began to have the idea that they would reject the king and they would essentially

reject the teachings of the church and they would reject the state being run by the king;

that they would take back control of knowledge.

And that was true in democracy and in science.

So, it's no coincidence that a lot of the founding fathers were science geeks.

They were thinking about crowdsourcing.

It is what we call crowdsourcing.

There are more checks and balances on bad knowledge going forward so there's accountability

at some level.

When you're doing pier review the editor at least knows who you are.

When you're doing voting theoretically you're not allowed to vote more than once.

When you're on a jury you have got a judge keeping track of whether or not information

should be admissible in court whether it's fair to admit it in court.

The internet is crowdsourcing gone wild.

It has no limits on it and so you can have things like bots like things until it actually

is noticed by real human beings, you can have situations where something looks incredibly

real but it's not real and it will take off much faster than we can stop it.

So the internet really is a beautiful thing in many ways.

It allows people to find each other who never could have found each other before, for example,

people with very unusual medical conditions can find each other, people with very unusual

interests can find each other.

The problem is that you have a situation where there are no checks and balances and so you

get a phenomenon whereby things that are not real can go forward.

But there are some places on the Internet where there are checks and balances.

So Wikipedia is a great example actually.

Wikipedia actually has people who function as editors and they will talk to each other,

fight with each other and all the discussions get externalized.

That allows a level of accountability that much of the Internet doesn't have.

It's also the case that Wikipedia paid editors can actually stop people from editing in some

circumstances or stop people from messing with pages.

So there are places on the Internet that have been born of crowdsourcing but that do have

some checks and balances built in.

GERMAN HEALTHCARE SYSTEM VS US (FROM AN ASIAN 😂) - Duration: 9:49.

hi everyone I'm back and today video is bit weird right the health care system

in the US versus the health care system here in Germany so why would I, an Asian

and never been to the u.s. be interested in their health care system

well, the reasons are the combination of so many things. firstly, as a came here in

Germany I started paying $90 per month for my health care insurance I was like

why do I have to pay that much of money for only the insurance because I paid 20

euros less than 20 euros for my insurance in Vietnam and it was not only

for a month that was for the whole year. so I was intrigued by the health care

services in Germany which is known as the national healthcare system. secondly

my professor at the university to be honest is not be fan Donald Trump yeah

he usually occasionally inserted his opinions on how the American government

is regulating their country and recently it was about his trip to Chicago during

the last Easter holiday and he said that a lot of homeless people staying outside

and frozen to death because the American government let them be

responsible for their own health care and I was like what is going on there? to

be honest I'm not a big fan of America, sorry but yeah I'm not really into the

American dreams and all the sort of things so I have no idea about their

health care system. and the last but not least the health care system in the u.s.

is now a controversial topic in Reddit I saw a lot of posts about it

recently there was a guy posting the bill of curing his eight inch cut on his

wrist and it costed him like almost 36

thousand US dollars seriously is this insane so I made up my mind that I got

to know about their healthcare system like what is happening over there and if the

quality of services is worth what American citizens pay for them and as

I'm living in Germany I hope that I could have a chance to make a reasonable

comparison with the German healthcare system which is a representative of the

national healthcare system. however before start I'd like to say that I'm no

expert in this field I'm just a tiny person who is curious about this topic

and trying to wrap my head around it so if you're also like me that let's go. so

the first thing I noticed was that the health care in America is mostly

provided by the private sector, only some hospitals are run by the government also

almost all the physicians work for the private sector - and other components

like pharmaceutical companies or the medical device providers also in the

private sector. whereas in Germany the government runs the health care system

and as German citizens and people living in Germany you have to pay a monthly

statutory contributions in order to ensure the free health care for everyone

well as a student under 30 I have to pay 90 euros per month for my

contribution at TK. secondly in Germany around 87% of German population get

the statutory health insurance and it provides you with the same care whenever

you get ill whereas 11% of those get the private insurance those people are

probably really rich because it provides them with special treatments so to say

upon their requests like special treatment my senior doctors or private

hospital rooms and other sort of thing and yet you need to have the income

which is above 59,400 euros per year or 4950

euros per month as in 2018 to get that kind of private

insurance and in America around 10% of the under 65 population are

uninsured the data from 2016 and why they excluding the over sixty-five

because they have something called Medicare for those people which is

considered the closest thing to the single-payer system that American people

are insistently asking for. well and the 10% we are talking about equals

like 27 million people they are uninsured what a big number! as a

result of our private health care system the health care in the u.s. is extremely

expensive well let's take a look at the Bill of the guy from reddit he claimed

that he had an eight-inch cut and it costed him like nearly thirty six

thousand bucks let's pay attention to the x-rays tests they costed him 340

459, 590 bucks for

those I haven't had a chance to take an x ray here in Germany but I watched

this video from this dude he said that it costed him only 20 bucks 20 euros

sorry for the X ray in Germany Möchengladbach in particular he didn't

have any insurance at all and he's an American and also he was really

surprised because his visit to the emergency room only costed him like

60 euros more so 80 euros in total for the x-ray test

the emergency room and he also mentioned that if he was in America without any

insurance it would have been like 500 bucks for the same procedure the same

things that he had in Germany and like the emergency room costed this dude over

5,000 bucks unfortunately I didn't know like how long he stayed there or what

made that cost so much. so now I'm concerned here because with such high

prices for the health care and 27 million people without any insurance how

would they pay for the health care when they're in need? what actually drove the

US health care price that high? maybe because of the thought that if you want

something done right you give it to the private sector. but in this case it

doesn't work as efficiently I really like how VOX explained it they basically

say that when it comes to health care we consumers have the least bargaining power

like we come to the hospitals when we're ill and we can't say no to that sort of things.

As in Germany the government says no for us like they negotiate the price with

the pharmaceutical companies and stuff and if those companies want to provide

services to German people they have to accept that price. and meanwhile in the

u.s. that bargaining procedure belongs to the private insurance companies and

yet they can't be as powerful as the government. as a result the drugs and

health care services are much more pricy in America. some examples:

some more facts about the u.s. healthcare system as a percent of the economy

American spends much more on health care than Germans 17.7%

versus 11.3%. however they visit doctors less than

in Germany but they pay more for the drugs and health care services as I said

earlier. and one more interesting fact I read that they pay the doctors based on

the number of services that the doctor provides not the outcomes of the

patients like or according to VOX that their income largely depends on whether

or not they perform the surgery regardless of the patient outcomes. and

finally let's look at how the health care system in the US and Germany

perform. as I know more about it the health care system in America and here

in Germany I feel even luckier to have a chance to live here in Germany. thank

you guys for watching my youtube video if you liked it please give me a big

like and don't forget to subscribe see you next time :)

What Happened When I Ate Nothing But "Healthy" Fast Food For A Week - Duration: 4:43.

- Fast food is cheap and convenient.

But hidden in between the burgers and tacos

are some "healthy" options:

salads, grilled chicken, yogurts, oatmeal, power burritos.

Doesn't sound too bad, right?

I spent a week eating nothing but these "healthy" fast foods

and I lost six-and-a-half pounds.

But even though I lost about a pound a day,

it didn't really go well.

I live in New York City,

a place with every possible food you could want.

Eating healthy here, it's a breeze.

But across America,

there are more than 200,000 fast food joints,

and they're bringing in

more than $200 billion a year in sales.

And no matter where you go,

you're never far from a place like McDonald's or Taco Bell.

But in recent years,

consumers want better, healthier choices,

and the traditional fast food places

have been losing customers

to those fast casual healthy options.

The rules were pretty simple:

Eat every major meal at a national fast food chain

and stick to the healthy options.

McDonald's, Wendy's, Burger King, Taco Bell,

Dunkin' Donuts, Subway, and Chick-fil-A;

nothing but them for a week.

Yeah, I lost almost seven pounds,

but let's take a close look at the numbers.

On a normal day, I'm eating around 2,500 calories.

An adult man should be having

about 2,400 to 2,600 calories a day.

But on this fast food plan, my calories plummeted.

Most of these meals came in under 400 calories,

and that was one of my first problems.

I'd eat and just a couple hours later, I was starving.

And I had days when I didn't eat more than 1,000 calories.

Now, some of these meals were really good.

My favorite was this grilled chicken market salad

from Chick-fil-A.

It had blueberries, strawberries, apples;

it was delicious and it was actually healthy.

However, a lot of the other salads

from Burger King, McDonald's, and Wendy's

were loaded with salt, often more than 50%

of what I needed for the entire day, from a salad.

In fact, excess salt was a problem the entire week.

I thought I had hit the jackpot

with Taco Bell's al Fresco menu.

They take off all the cheese and mayo-based sauces

and replace it with lettuce and pico de gallo.

One night I got tacos,

another night I got a power cantina burrito,

and these were meals with more protein than usual.

So, I felt like I was getting enough food.

They were good, too good.

It was all salt.

In fact, just one burrito had almost as much salt

as I needed in just one day.

The American Heart Association

says we should limit our sodium

to about 2,300 milligrams a day,

but the ideal is closer to 1,500 milligrams a day,

especially for a person like me with high blood pressure.

But if you look at my sodium intake, it was high every day,

yet I was barely getting the calories I needed.

If I wanted to keep the sodium down, I was starving.

If I wanted to feel full, salt through the roof.

You see, that's an issue in the fast food industry.

Wendy's even acknowledges on their website

that there's going to be a trade-off

between salt and flavor.

It was weird.

I didn't feel healthy at all throughout the week,

even though I was eating healthy foods and losing weight.

And on the last day,

I had this massive headache that was just infuriating.

These places, they're supposed to be

tasty, cheap, and convenient.

But it wasn't cheap.

Every healthy option was expensive, but left me hungry.

For eight grilled nuggets

and this tiny kale salad at Chick-fil-A, $12.

For the power Mediterranean salad at Wendy's,

it was almost $8, yet I could get a cheeseburger,

nuggets, fries, and a soda for only $4.

That brings me to another problem.

Walk into McDonald's and you get hit

with that sweet, sweet french fry smell,

and I had to get a salad.

Would I recommend this to anyone?

Nope, unless you're stuck on the road with no other options.

Though there was a bright spot: breakfast at Subway.

They have these egg-white-and-cheese sandwiches,

which I got covered in spinach and peppers.

And let me tell you, it was good.

But after all this, I just want a cheeseburger.

(light orchestral music)
