told all of them but this message this sorry it is a memo from the Justice

technical glitch the messages were found and of course this is the date the dated
time period crucial because it was the transition period and beyond into the
first months of the presidency December 14 2 2016 2 May 17th 2017 they have
successfully recovered using forensic tools to recover these messages from FBI
devices including messages between those two individuals that were sent or
received between those dates our effort to recover any additional text messages
is ongoing which is why I say that we don't know if they've recovered all of
those missing messages they've certainly recovered some and they do intend to
turn those overly Zeldin congressman from New York is on the
couch here what do you make of this breaking news I didn't believe that they
were lost in the first place I could see them being damning damaging but not lost
whether it was going to be from the cell carrier a forensic exam of the phone or
it was going to be from the possession of the inspector general I really did
believe that these these texts weren't could be lost I believe that there can
be very telling and at you as far as I mean struck with us so the person we
interviewed Michael Flynn's there's there's just a lot to learn well here's
what else we want to know what they're gonna do with it right so I want to be
clear that also in this letter again to Ron Johnson and Chuck Grassley we will
provide copies of those text messages that we recovered from these devices to
the department so that the department's leadership can take any management

How to Add Time & Location Stickers on WhatsApp on Your iPhone or Android - Video Tutorial - Duration: 2:41.
WhatsApp has now added the same functionality to its messaging platform in an effort to
remain among the most well-rounded messaging apps available.
In addition to fun decorations like emojis, the latest versions of WhatsApp for both iOS
and Android now allow you to add time-based stickers — and location-based stickers if
you have an iPhone to media files for both individual and group chats.
Now, you can tease loved ones with photos of your delicious seafood dinner stamped with
the restaurant's location, or show the time a video was taken.
To add a time or location sticker, open a conversation and either tap on the '+' button
to the left of the text entry field at the bottom (iOS) or the paperclip and camera buttons
on the right-hand side within the text field (Android).
From there, either select "Photo & Video Library" (iOS) or "Gallery" (Android) from the prompt
that appears.
Your gallery will now appear, so choose the media file you want to share with your contacts.
If you're using an iPhone, you can also choose a GIF by tapping on "GIFs" on the lower left
corner of the screen.
After selecting a media file, tap on the smiley face icon along the top of the screen for
both iOS and Android, then select a sticker that you'd like to paste onto it.
You have the option of choosing between time in the form of digital and analog clocks,
and if you have an iPhone, you can also add a location sticker that pins your whereabouts.
If the default central position of the sticker obstructs the file you want to share, you
have the option of moving the sticker and placing it on a more ideal position by dragging
it around your screen.
You can also change your sticker from dark to light simply by tapping on it.
If you wish to remove the sticker, simply tap and hold onto it, then drag and drop it
onto the trash bin that appears on the upper-left corner of the screen.
Once you're satisfied, tap on the blue send button to share your media file.

TRUTH OR DARE - Review [SUB ITA] - Duration: 5:50.
Hi guys it's Debbie and today I would like to speak about "Truth or Dare" a
new horror film which was released a couple of weeks ago. "Truth or Dare"
follows a group of friends which somehow ends up caght in a supernatural version
of the truth or dare game. They either have to perform a dangerous actions such
as hurting somebody, or confess to something very big, ruining friendships,
relationships as the game gets more and more intense and threatening. Now in my
opinion the big problem with truth or dare is that it is very teen-oriented.
There is nothing wrong with this in itself, there's nothing wrong with a film
trying to appeal to a specific age group, but it is advertised as this
intense horror film and then rather than being an actual horror movie, it just
feels like this unrealistic story of unrealistically good-looking friends,
always with perfectly made-up faces and hair, on point
looks, sculpted bodies, with all their gossipy crisscross ties of friendship
and love, with their all well-established roles (the clever but
good-looking leader, the annoying party boy, the I'm too good-looking and
successful for this dude, the troubled best friend) which just happened
to be caught in a frightening situation. If you take for example "It Follows", which
is one of my favourite horror films, it all revolves around a group of young
friends so there are a lot of social interaction problems, love ties and
everything, but these issues never get in the way of the plot or they aid it. For
example in "It Follows" sex is a very important element for the storyline and
it is implemented in a very strategic way, while in "Truth or Dare" it seemed like
the story just couldn't wait to include it in the plot, just to get the audience
excited, to shock younger audiences. I like the idea behind "Truth or Dare", I like
this idea of constant danger, there were some scenes in which I kind of had to
look away. But in the end it was never really scary because I felt like I was
watching the same well-established roles, the same interactions we have been seeing
for years in films which are aimed to younger audiences. For example when the
characters pick truth, the truths are always what we would expect from an
overdramatic characterisation: cheating, unlikely truths which emerge years
later jeopardising the main characters BFF status,
and other huge things which would never realistically happen. Now I've never seen
"Happy Death Day" but it is produced by the creators of "Truth or Dare" and when I saw
the trailer I couldn't help but not think the same thing: the same Disney
doll, teenage/young adult actresses which end up caught in a horror
situation. If you saw the film please let me know if it's like this. In general in
these films all the actors seemed to be from that Nickelodeon/Disney afternoon
team comedy-drama background. Lucy Hale from "Ned's School Survival Guide", "Wizards
of Waverly Place", Tyler Posey from "Teen Wolf". There is nothing wrong with their
career, there's nothing wrong with them in themselves, that's not the point. The
point is that they are already super recognisable, super predictable, super
good-looking faces which are then ultra glamorised in the film, ultra stereotyped
making it hard to feel like a real horror movie. How can I believe that
Olivia is in distress because her friends are dying, when for days on end
she turns up with her lipgloss on point, hair perfectly styled, high heels and
cute outfits to life or death scenes, just like all the other characters which
by the way seem more concerned about all their gossipy ties of friendship
and love, rather than the fact that they are risking their lives. As I was saying
before it's not the actors in themselves, there are many actors and actresses who
represent this typical standard role, who starred in countless teen products but
who now perform in a variety of different roles. But with "Truth or Dare" it just
feels there was never there urge of switching these actors from the older
role and just leave them in their teens teen idol status. I want to see
characters like the ones in "Don't Breathe", blood and snot smeared all over
their face, fighting for their lives, stifling their tears, I want to see
women like Brie Larson in "Room". With horrors such as "It", "Silence of the Lambs", "A
Quiet Place" (which by the way was released just a few days ago), "Insidious",
we feel dragged in the story, we feel engaged because we don't know what's
going to happen, we don't know what to expect,
even with world-famous actors, we are living the horror reality, we have
relatable figures not dolled up Instagram faces. In "Truth or Dare" we knew
that some characters would somehow make it through the whole situation,
the main concern seemed to be whether this character we
fall in love with this other character, if those two characters would still be
friends... This is why I'm really looking forward to new horror films such as
"Hereditary", which really looks like the the old-school horror genre.
"Truth or Dare" also had many scenes which were poorly written, there was one
in particular (without spoiling the plot) in which cute Olivia is at the police
station and she unconvincingly asks the officer to have some water and while he
has his back turned to her, she sneakily takes these photos. If we could have
added the fake audience background laughter, this scene would have looked like
something out of a "Sam and Cat" episode. So all in all I did not enjoy "Truth or Dare"
and I don't think I would recommend it, I watched it because it looked very
interesting but every time it looked like there was something new, it looked
like there was about to be a twist, something unexpected, the plot would
always fall back into the the predictable scenes. The one thing I will
praise of "Truth or Dare" is the creepy smiley face element that appears every
time somebody is caught in the game. The corners of the mouths are pulled all the
way up, the eyes are gleaming, the voice is slightly distorted. I know the smiley
face concept is not new but it was really good, it really creeped me out. Let
me know if you saw "Truth or Dare" with a comment down below and let me know what
you thought about it. I hope you enjoyed this video, if you did make sure to
subscribe and I'll see you soon, bye!

Smartphone is all you need to get started on Youtube! (or is it?) - Duration: 11:00.
is a smartphone enough to start a YouTube channel stick around I'm gonna
let you know what I found out
welcome back ladies and gentlemen i'm dan from www.Millennialmotivator.CA
helping you learn how to create engage and inspire if you're new to the channel
go ahead and click that subscribe button down there the little bell next to it
you'll get notified when my next video goes live throw up a video here monday
through saturday with the exception of last week on anything that has to do
with growing your presence online to build your business and better engage
your customers what happened last week for all of you guys that are fans of the
channel and know what's going on typically i put it out a video every day
monday through saturday every single day last week however i had to fly into the
states i had to meet with a bunch of different consultant clients that I work
with and I thought I'd be able to manage doing that work being on-site working
with those teams and shooting video editing video recording video all that
goes with that the reality is this I wanted to test whether or not a
smartphone would be enough for me to shoot video on the road while I'm doing
my business stuff and I can't do a couple different conclusions now those
of you that didn't see any videos last week know that obviously videos didn't
hit YouTube and there's a couple different reasons why and I want to
share my thoughts on this because from the start of this channel I have vouched
over and over again that all you need is a smartphone to get started on YouTube
and I want to give you guys my thoughts on this and break it down a little bit
so if you've ever considered starting a YouTube channel solely with a smartphone
stick around I'm gonna break this down for you okay point number one is gonna
wait a second I'm gonna put a disclaimer on this starting a YouTube channel with
just a smartphone is better than not starting a YouTube channel at all okay
get that out there I want to be clear on that okay now with that being said I
found after having the experience of shooting with a camera shooting with a
desktop camera having my setup here in the office I found switching to a
smartphone to have a large learning curve as any new thing does but there
are a couple key things that got me stuck that I realized
need some additional things if you're gonna make a smartphone work for you on
YouTube so the first one that I found guys and this is a big one is the audio
here in the office I've got a controlled space so a cellphone would work just
fine for controlled space like this where there's not a lot of sound I can
kind of buffer it by closing the door I can control it that way when I was out
and about though in the States cars people whatever that the smartphone mic
picks it all up and so having that level of noise was a big issue and sound is a
big deal when people are listening to a video I know myself I'm still working on
getting the audio perfected after a hundred plus videos audio is so key when
you're shooting and you are immediately off to a really tough start with a
smartphone only now that being said there are attachments you can get for a
smartphone that are a direct mic you can have bluetooth connected lapel mics I'll
put some of those down in the comments below for you guys to check out if this
is something that you're struggling with but audio was terrible for me when I was
out and about there's lots of things happening the smartphone just didn't do
the audio justice and it created some really muffled or crowded audio on the
video so that was a big sticking point for me of when I put out the videos I
like people to be able to hear me at the very least and that was really hard for
me to narrow it out now that being said a lot of people would suggest well just
filter that stuff out in the audio or in the editing process with the audio that
kind of takes me to my next point alright guys so audio was a non-issue
editing is a next editing on just a smartphone proved insanely difficult so
I came to a couple different conclusions in regards to smartphone youtubing and
one of them is this you have to be a one-take guru if you're gonna use a
smartphone okay one tech guru you get in you shoot it
that's it you don't need to segment piece alter audio in any way the
lighting was perfect you managed to shoot the perfect one shot video for
your YouTube Congrats smartphone is for you however that being said most of us
aren't going to shoot videos that way to be able to compile a single one shot
we need several different shots and most likely put b-roll in there you've got
the audio issues issues that I mentioned sometimes there's lighting issues that
you want to be able to adjust and fix and adobe clip I get what it's trying to
be I get what it's trying to do and if you absolutely have to edit with it it's
probably the best of a bunch of bad options but that being said it doesn't
really serve the purpose I highly recommend as I always have go out there
and give an actual editing software for me it's Adobe Premiere I love it and
Adobe clip just pales by comparison it doesn't give you the options it doesn't
give you the flexibility it doesn't give you the control and then actually
exporting the file it's just a huge waste of time and drain on a smart phone
where a desktop obviously does a much better job of it so the editing is a
huge part of why smartphone shooting became difficult and again please
remember that disclaimer that a smartphone video shot and edited on
Adobe clip is better than no YouTube channel whatsoever ok so the other thing
that smartphone would be great for and is now an option is going live okay
so if you have that capability you've got the data or you've got the location
with a great Wi-Fi I highly recommend why there's an option for smart phone
just because it gives you that real life feel but what I found with live was
there weren't any there were additional problems with that outside of the audio
and the lighting that we had already mentioned and that is control of the
camera okay now control of the camera for people
that I said you just need a smartphone becomes difficult because shooting like
this is obviously going to be a bit of a headache and you won't always have
somebody there to hold a camera and film you through a whole live shoot
especially since I know my lives typically B typically tend to be a half
hour to an hour long and the reality is that that's not something that you
you're gonna want to hold your arm up for the entire time so there's a couple
of different solutions for that let's get down to that so guys as far as how
you're going to set it up and control there are a couple different options you
have available to you okay one is the Joby so that
so one is the Jobi okay guys and this little guy here is a great tripod you
can set up on the go it's got a piece that goes in here you can screw it in
and just put your phone off BAM you've got a nice little tripod set up there
and you're ready to roll with it the other option that you've got available
to you is you can get a gimbal like the znq that we showcased a couple weeks
back here again I'll put links down with this stuff below guys so the CM ku
allows you to it's it's a gimbal it's a 3 axis gimbal so it allows you to move
in transition smoothly without the the video footage being all choppy ok which
icon was a major issue because I like to walk and move and talk as I shoot and I
often found myself as I was trying to shoot the first few videos I would be
moving my hand while I'm talking and it made the video this really gross seasick
kind of feeling so the Z and Q would have been a much better option to shoot
with just giving it that stability if you are a hand talker or your self
shooting so tripod is an auction guys the Z and Q is an option selfie stick if
you absolutely have to go that route could work but again it is a major
hassle and it is a major learning curve to get that feel and to get that right
so what are the takeaways that I've got by and large 4 is a smartphone all you
need in order to create a YouTube channel number one can it be done yes it
can be done what I still recommend it I would still recommend getting started
with just a smartphone over not getting started at all okay guys I highly
recommend you get started and improve as you go but if you had the choice between
a home setup or an office setup or a stationary setup or a camera setup all
of those I would personally prefer to the smartphone solo for the reasons of
poor audio control and while there are exceptions you can alter your smartphone
just a smartphone enough isn't to get there isn't enough to get there so
you're going to have to make a point to buy some additional add-ons in order to
make the smartphone work for you lighting lighting is another big one
you can't control I know here in my office I've got it set up so that
there's a window here with natural light right in front of me that allows me the
ability to speak within a well-lit environment whereas on the road that's
not really an option and the smartphone doesn't do a great job of really
controlling your lighting last but not least it's the editing process editing
on a smartphone I found to be extremely difficult there weren't a lot of great
options on it can it be done yes is it optimal know the options inside of an
actual piece of software like Adobe Premiere are far greater than what's
available on something like Adobe click so you can't really fix your audio well
you can't fix your lighting well you can't edit properly the export time
takes in an exorbitant amount of time because it's operating off of your your
smart phone and it also ties up your smart phone while you're doing that so I
just these things are major sticking points for me guys and I am gonna still
tell people that you can start a smart YouTube channel with just a smart phone
but I don't advocate for it as hard as I used to guys it's a very challenging
process with a very steep learning curve I know there are people out there that
do it and they rock it and good on them but for me as somebody who was fairly
new to YouTube at the start of the year coming into this channel trying this for
the first time my verdict on it is it's very difficult has a very high learning
curve it's better than nothing but there are a lot of other better
options out there question of the day is let me know what you think down below if
you shot youtube video with just your smartphone do you think that these are
reasonable conclusions that I've come to you let me know what you think down in
the comments below and I will catch you tomorrow with another great video see
you then

Donald Trump James Comey is 'Either Very Sick or Very Dumb' - Duration: 13:03.
Donald Trump: James Comey is 'Either Very Sick or Very Dumb'
President Donald Trump again accused former FBI director James Comey of leaking classified
information in his memos to Columbia law professor Daniel Richman, who then leaked it to the
media.
"He illegally leaked CLASSIFIED INFORMATION but doesn't understand what he did or how
serious it is," Trump wrote.
"He lied all over the place to cover it up.
He's either very sick or very dumb."
Comey has denied leaking classified information, asserting that the FBI only classified material
in his memos after he shared the contents with the media.
"Sometime after I was fired, the FBI apparently made a decision that there were some words
in at least two of the memos, maybe one, I think two, that were diplomatically sensitive,"
he told Fox News anchor Bret Baier in an interview on Thursday.
And so, my lawyers returned them to the FBI."
In his interview with Anderson Cooper, Comey disputed that he was a leaker, defining a
"leak" narrowly as "an unauthorized disclosure of classified information" despite
his unilateral decision to leak the contents of a government document to the media.
"Is everybody believing what is going on.
James Comey can't define what a
leak is," Trump
wrote in response.

GZERO World Clip: Strategic Incoherence or Incoherent Strategy? - Duration: 1:08.
When was the last time the United States has had a Middle East strategy?
What strikes me about the Trump administration is, you know – I'll throw the question back at you.
Can you think of any country, any issue where it's clear
what the Trump administration policy is, on foreign policy?
They want to eradicate ISIS, as did the Obama administration,
but that's about as big a picture frame as we have for –
Yeah, they don't like the Europeans.
They want them to contribute more to NATO.
Jerusalem.
That's going to happen.
So again, you can point to individual things, but how it fits into a big overarching goal,
how that goal is tied with U.S. interests, how we're defining U.S. interests today in America.
You know, are human rights as important as they were a decade ago, two decades ago,
a generation ago in terms of the way the U.S. is allocating resources and people in the world?
You'd say not.
You'd say not.
Based on the available evidence I would say not.

Stress: Is It Healthy or Dangerous? - Duration: 8:16.
Hi my name's father Mike Schmitz and this is Ascension Presents.
I imagine you're probably stressed at some point in your life.
Maybe even right now...
because you should be doing your work but you're watching a YouTube video...
soooo...*laughs* busted!
But, a lot of us experience stress.
In fact, when they ask across the country -- country being the United States,
although, thanks for watching from other places than the United States --
people report high levels of stress.
You know, it's interesting because
when you start diving into research about stress,
something you find is that
there is such a thing as "eustress" and such a thing as "distress."
So, eustress is the good stress, right?
It's the anxiety or the anxiousness we feel before we are gonna perform.
It's the eustress, the good stress we experience that actually
gets our body prepared to act, right?
So, eustress is the kind of stress that prepares our bodies for action.
But there's distress.
And one of the things that distress does is, distress can paralyze us.
It does the opposite of eustress (or good stress).
Distress makes us feel incapable of moving. It makes us feel paralyzed.
It makes us feel afraid and anxious to the point where we don't move
instead of "I'm anxious so I need to move" (eustress).
Distress is the kind that paralyzes us.
And I imagine that the distress is the one that we complain about,
'cause eustress is not so bad.
That's why it's called "good stress" ... 'cause it's... it's good.
But I think a lot of times we approach ALL stress as the same,
and our approach to stress is:
I just need to get done with this project or get done with this thing,
get past this moment and then I won't be stressed so much.
I think about that a lot, because I often times -- and just a confession here --
I'm often concerned about the next thing.
I'm often concerned about what's the next project,
what's the next task, what's the next thing that's really weighing on me that
when I look at it, I have the distress, right?
So I find myself getting paralyzed in the face of it.
And so once I get done with that, though, then I'll be fine.
Once I get done with this thing, I'll be able to move on with life.
And there's something about that,
that I've been praying about a lot, and thinking about a lot.
And the conclusion I came to, the realization that I kind of came upon,
was that life isn't about avoiding stress.
Stress is just a part of life.
Life isn't about avoiding stress. It's not about getting around stress.
It's about, like, no, this is life -- to experience stress is to experience life.
In fact, we NEED stress to continue to live.
There was this research, was it at Stanford I think -- maybe?
One of those, you know, big schools --
Harvard, Stanford --
but I think is was Stanford that did this research on
very very simple celled organisms, single-celled organisms.
And they put it in a place of stasis, right — or homeostasis
where there was no stress whatsoever on the organism, on the simple organism.
And with absolutely no stress —
with all the environments that it needed just to simply be "in stasis"
-- to be just alive and comfortable essentially —
They died. They corrupted.
They were destroyed ultimately, because they needed stress to be alive.
And you and I need stress to be alive and to remain alive.
And so, life isn't about avoiding stress, it's about how we engage with stress.
Our perspective can really matter a lot, right?
There is a bunch of studies --
I was reading this book recently that talked about this,
that people who see stress as something to be avoided
versus people who see stress as a challenge to be engaged with,
makes all the difference.
If I see my stress, my projects,
the things that worry me and the things that cause me anxiety
as something to be avoided, then I'm gonna run away from them.
And what I'm gonna have? I'm gonna have DI-stress.
I'm gonna be paralyzed
versus "I see stress as a challenge to be engaged with"
well then what am I gonna have? I'm gonna have EU-stress
or stress that leads me to take action.
So my invitation is this — is to ask yourself when you experience stress,
the next time you experience stress:
can my perspective on this thing that is causing me stress,
can my perspective actually affect how I'm gonna engage with this?
Ultimately it comes down to: how do you see yourself, how do you see this world?
This is where the scripture comes in, right?
How do you see yourself? How do you see this world?
Am I a person who is a victim of the stressful situation?
Am I a person who's a victim of what causes me anxiety,
what causes me worry?
Am I someone who's powerless? Or do I have agency?
Am I stuck here, paralyzed, or do I have a power?
Do I have a certain agency where I can actually make a difference?
I can engage stress as a challenge and ultimately
not only will it give me life, but I'll be able -- better able --
to become the person God wants me to be and bring life to others.
We can do this because we know who our Father is;
this is the crazy thing about life as a Catholic Christian.
We know who our Father is in fact.
Go all the way back to the psalms of David,
just take one of those popular psalms -- psalm 23.
He says "Even if I walk through the valley of the shadow of death..."
Think about that.
David's not saying "If I walk through, like, the sunny valley of...
Anne of Green Gables... something like this....
He says "Even if I walk in the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil."
Why? Because you are at my side.
As Catholic Christians we have this profound conviction,
this profound awareness,
that in every situation, even the worst -- the valley of the shadow of death --
I won't fear. Why? Because God, you're with me.
Nothing to be afraid of because you are with me.
I can engage the situation because you are with me.
All my ability to have agency, to engage the stress as a challenge,
doesn't have to do with just me. I don't have to just be
pulling myself up by my bootstraps.
It has to do with "We believe something about this world"
and that thing is:
there is a father in heaven who's also present to us here and now,
in the midst of every situation.
So even in times of distress that are terrible,
he is at my side,
and what can I do? I don't have to fear.
I can go from this place of being paralyzed by my situation
to be able to be activated by his presence.
In James chapter 1, he's writing and he says --
James chapter 1, verses 2 through 4 -- he says "Consider it pure joy, my brothers
when you encounter various trials..."
Consider it pure joy when you encounter various trials...
"for you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance."
The trial itself, right, the stress?
It does something in you: it produces perseverance.
"And let perseverance be perfect so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."
I know the father's with me.
I have agency.
And if I enter into this -- whatever trial it is, whatever challenge it is --
if I enter into this with him and with that agency,
this trial becomes a challenge that produces fruit,
both in your life and in the lives of the people around you.
We are all stressed out, which is a great way to say
all of us have the opportunity at all times to become perfect,
as James says, lacking in nothing,
considering it pure joy that I have the next task to do,
pure joy that I have the next challenge to meet,
pure joy that I have the next work to do. Why?
Because it all leads -- has the power to lead -- to him.
But only if I walk with him.
From all of us here at Ascension Presents, my name is Father Mike. God bless.
And like, subscribe, do all those things people do on the internet,
like, you know, thumbs up.
Thumbs down if you don't like it. Whatever
I mean, that's an option.
You can take that option. Why? 'Cause you got agency yo. *clicks* Ha.
Yo? Who says yo? Dumb.

Long Or Short Travel For Trail Riding? | Ask GMBN Tech - Duration: 17:10.
- Ok, welcome back to another Ask GMBN Tech.
This is the 17th show and this is a weekly show where
hopefully we get to answer all your tech related
mountain bike questions.
You can get your questions into us in the comments
below this very video.
We'll be patrolling that afterwards.
Also, you can send them in with the email address listed
at the bottom of the screen there.
Don't forget to use the hashtag,
#AskGMBNTech if you're sending in e-mails or
you're contacting us via Facebook.
Just makes it easier for us to spot
what you're trying to get.
The first up is from Carl.
Hi guys, I am in the market for a new 29er trail bike.
I was at a bike store and the guy there recommended
a Giant Anthem 29er for trail riding.
He said it got 100 mm of travel
but it's got Fox Suspension on the front and rear.
It's the only bike in my price range
with full Fox suspension.
Would you say this would be a good bike for trail riding
or should I look at a different bike if so,
what would you recommend?
Well firstly, technically the Anthem is an XC bike so
that's by Giant.
It's 100 mm travel and it was
designed originally for the world cup basically so
all those boys and girls are riding the giant Anthem.
It is a very trail friendly bike and its 29" wheels
do make it feel like it rides with slightly more travel
than it has and it certainly gonna be robust enough for
a day to day trail use but
their trail focus bike from Giant is
actually called the Trance.
It's got quite a lot more travel.
It's gonna ride a lot differently.
I mean, if you're not really into sort of riding
that involves loads of jumping and sort of
aggressive terrain,
I'd be more than happy riding the Anthem.
But don't forget,
whatever bike you're riding,
you can go out and ride trails on them,
you can ride cross-country on them.
Don't be too sort of confined by what the bike
tells you to do.
It's only at the upper end of the scale where you shouldn't
really go downhill racing on a cross-country bike.
You're clearly gonna damage that bike.
So in a long way 'round to your answer,
yeah, the Anthem is absolutely fine.
Enjoy it.
Next up is a brake related question from Doug Watts.
Well, it's not really a question, it's,
Hope V4 versus Shimano Saint Brakes.
To be honest, they're both excellent brakes.
I like them both.
I haven't ridden Hope brakes for quite some time.
I'd quite like to try and see 'em again to sort of
remind myself of them.
I always used to run Hope brakes back in my magazine days.
Always love them, especially the color options,
and the customizations you can do with them.
I like the fact that they got braided hoses.
They're really tough.
Especially good if you're into crashing
because they're quite robust for that sort of thing.
But then, the Shimanos,
they're incrediblly powerful.
Perhaps almost too powerful for my liking.
I prefer something not quite as grabby as the Saint.
I found to be honest the SLX is absolutely fine or the XT
or something like that.
But I've got that characteristic, wooden sort of Shimano
feel with the really small lever blade,
that's really comfortable.
They're both excellent,
of course the Hopes use DOT fluid and
the Shimano uses Mineral fluid.
They're both very easy and quite similar to bleed actually.
I'm not sure.
Depends what sort of build you're doing.
The Shimanos are no nonsense.
They work.
Never gonna let you down, any of that stuff.
But Hope certainly a lot tricker.
Next up is from Heath Norton, cool name.
I bought a 24" Rocky Mountain Bike for my daughter.
It's a nice frame with some decent components,
but the front fork is a cheap SunTour unit.
She only weighs about 55lbs,
so the fork doesn't really activate for her.
That is a bit of a problem with some of these
kids' bike I found as well actually.
Have been looking at upgrading her fork,
but I've not found any good options.
Is it possible to rework her fork to make it
more responsive at the lower end
or should I just upgrade it?
Are there any good fork options for 24" bikes?
I've heard Old Rockshox Sid Forks can work,
but the bike has V-brakes and integrated levers
and shifters,
so it would be expensive to upgrade to disc brakes.
Plus, I've not been able to find any
26 to 24 V-brake adapters.
Okay so first start with the tuning.
I'm not entirely familiar with the 24" Suntour forks
but must suspension tuners,
you'd be amazed at the magic that they can work on those
to make them feel good.
I'd have to ask a few questions to some of the guys I know
to work that one out.
So let's just move on to the next bit.
Yeah, I think you're right about the Rock Shox Sid Forks.
I heard that as well.
It's quite old cross-country fork its quite low
the axle to crown height.
It's probably going to be fairly similar to that 24" fork.
Course most kids' mountain bike these days do come with
26" forks with a 24 in there,
so you don't have to worry about
that sort of thing in the future.
I definitely would recommend in trying that out.
I think that'd be a good option
but you would have to get disc brakes for that.
I wouldn't worry about spending too much money on that
because you wouldn't need to do anything
with the integrated shift or brake lever
'cause you could just get a cable operated brake
caliber and a rotor.
You may need a front wheel there.
Of course that is an expense.
The Shimano do the deal caliber.
They're around 40 quid.
They're not a lot of money and the disc rotor you get there
are for about 10 quid.
50 quid for a brake.
I appreciate the fact it's a kid bike,
you don't want to spend too much money on it,
but that is one way around that issue.
The other thing just to factor in is upgrading the fork
full stop up to another one.
Now of course, the only thing you really need to take into
consideration is that axle to crown height so
literally from the axle to the crown,
where the crown race of the head sits on there.
Now if you're replacing it with a 26" wheel fork,
you really want to make sure you don't want to go above say,
anything above 20MM longer,
really is gonna sort of mess up the handling quite a lot.
You can probably get away with up to 20MM on a kids bike
and won't be too adverse.
Of course, you'll get a fork that will hopefully be
a lot more responsive and work better for her.
Next up from Joel Reilly.
Hi guys, love the show.
I ride a 2009 Santa Cruz XC Blur.
Yes. Nice bike, mate.
Ride it hard because I'm more of a rider who takes the
fun line instead of the fast one.
Should I get a new trail 150MM bike or something bigger,
or smaller?
My Santa Cruz is about 11.2 kilos and my dad says I'll
miss it if I get something with bigger travel,
that's heavier.
If I were to get a trail bike, it'll be around $2000.
I live in South Africa by the way, by the beach.
And I'm 15.
Well, wicked.
Love your country for starters.
I really enjoyed our recent trip out to South Africa.
I do think your dad is quite right actually.
So most of the mountain bikers we met when we were in
South Africa were also cross-country trail riders.
They're all running either hard tails or suspension bikes
like your Santa Cruz blow,
with around 100MM of travel.
Now, I don't think that you
A) probably need any more travel.
You've been riding it for so long.
But you could, if you want to make your bike a little bit
more fun,
make it feel a little bit more aggressive,
don't have to spend the earth on the thing.
You could upgrade the fork or maybe get your
fork travel extended.
Depending on what fork you have on there,
that might just be a case of getting the air tube
This is inside the fork, get a slightly longer one.
Which would require doing a service on the fork,
but it's a cool way of just getting a bit more travel
out what you had.
So on a 100MM bike,
you can get away with 120MM fork.
By the time it sags,
you probably be only a little bit longer than the standard
fork length on there but it gives you the extra 20MM of
travel to play with.
Which can make quite a bit of a difference.
If you do that, of course,
you might end up having to put your stem down slightly.
Maybe one 10mm spacer just to compensate for that
and you might need to tip the nose of your saddle down.
If you go for any more travel,
it really will mess up the handling of that bike
and that's a really nice bike.
Just bare that in mind.
Now I've also just written a note to myself here
about the Yeti SB100,
which we talked about on the show
a week or two back.
Now that's a 100MM travel XC frame
but its spec with a 120MM fork.
I've also seen the brand new Santa Cruz Blur.
100MM travel, also being spec with a 120MM fork.
I think actually, that's gonna be a sort of
quite magical start of a bike for lot of riders
over the coming years.
Now we often see people on trail bikes that have 150MM,
even 170MM with travel.
I think people are probably a little bit over biked
for what they need.
Don't get me wrong.
This is a fun game and it's important to be having fun.
By all means, ride whatever you wanna ride
but I do think that a longer travel bike can
isolate you from the trail a little bit.
The thing about riding a short travel bike like that
100MM blur you've got is.
You got more than enough travel
to get you out of trouble.
Also, you got enough travel to get you enough traction
on those trails to really hammer it on
but you'll still gonna be able to feel the trail
underneath the wheels.
As for me, that's one of the things I love.
It's about fun at the end of the day.
If you want to go really fast
and that's how you need to do it,
then that's great, good for you.
If you want to have fun in a different way,
which sounds like you do,
carry on doing what you're doing.
Maybe just like a slightly longer fork though.
It'll save you money on buying a bike.
However, if you do want to buy a new bike
and you are looking for something.
I'd say 120, 130MM is something you should buy.
Just for example, just throwing this up
on the screen now.
It's a Canyon Neuron.
It's available in both 27.5" wheels and 29" wheels.
It got several different price options on there
and there's one right in your price point.
Maybe that could be the right sort of bike for you.
Hope you make the right choice.
Hi Doddy, I have a setup question.
I currently am running on a 35MM Onza Stem on
my Commencal V4 All Mountain Meta.
When I'm climbing trails, I find the front wheel lifts
and trying to do a wheelie.
Would a slightly longer reach stem solve this problem?
Thanks, Tim.
Yeah, it completely would.
There's a few reasons that this could be happening
of course this all stands as one
but let's start with the saddle.
If your saddle is too far back,
you're going to be too far over the rear balance point,
which when you're climbing,
there's a rear axle of that bike.
You want your body weight in front of that,
or at least try to keep it that way.
So of course, by having a shorter stem,
if your bike is not long enough,
then you're gonna be too far past
towards the rear of the bike.
In which case, a longer stem would definitely correct that.
However, that will change the handling of your bike.
By putting a longer stem on there,
you are gonna feel that it's gonna be harder
to pick the front wheel up,
for stuff like manuals, or the bunny hop.
So you do need to sorta have to do this gently
and play around.
See if your friends have any slightly longer stems.
Maybe a 50.
That's not gonna interfere too much with it.
Also consider the height you have your stem out.
The higher the stem, the shorter your bike effectively
is because of the angle of that head tube,
So the lower the stem,
slightly more reach you're gonna get out of that bike.
It's only a sort of effective thing,
not actually an official measurement
with the way reach is measured
but you can eek out a little bit more length on the same
length stem.
Of course, changing your stem is going to cost you a bit
of money to do that.
So try a few if you do that, a different setup things first.
Now of course,
if you do find that you need to add a stem
that's over 50MM in length,
then it might be a case that the bike might be
a bit too short for you.
Which is quite often the case with people.
They buy it because they want it to be fun,
flickable, on those trails,
but quite often to get that,
you have to have a bike that's on the smaller side
but they may be fun on those jumpy fun trails,
it's never gonna climb or pedal as well
as a bike that truly fits you.
So hopefully, you can figure this out with a slightly
longer stem.
Maybe tweaking the saddle so it's slightly further forward.
Perhaps even just rolling it your bike forward
and lowering your stem.
It might get your bike dialed in.
Hopefully that's the case,
just a slightly longer stem might cure your climbing issue.
Tubeless related now, this one is from
Hayley Clark.
Hi Doddy, I have a 2015 Cube Stereo and want to go tubeless.
However, my wheels take Schrader valves, big ones.
That's a car valve basically,
if anyone wondered what that is.
Would the regular Tubeless Presta valves,
like the ones in your tubeless video, work?
And if so, which ones or am I stuck with tubes?
Thanks for the help.
You've helped me work on my bike at home
on several occasions.
Well, great.
So I'm gonna help you again now because you don't need to
worry about this.
There's a few options out there.
On the screen now,
Firstly, Stan's NoTubes.
The company Stan's did the first proper
conversion kit for tubeless.
They have valves in both Presta,
which I showed you in that vid there.
And also in Schrader, which are the ones you need.
Now they do two versions,
the 10MM and the 12MM,
Just depends on the drilling of your rims so
check that out.
Also, they do an adapter
and the adapter plugs the hole in the rim,
and then you can run a regular Presta one in there,
so that's one way around it.
Also, there's another company, Joe's No-Flats.
Very similar name to Stan's No-Tubes.
Joe's No-Flats make Schrader tubeless valves as well
so you should be able to get some of those
and get your bike setup tubeless.
Hopefully, with no problem.
Good luck.
Next up from Ben Kutscher.
First off, great channel, great team and
again, you're doing a great job.
Thank you very much, Ben.
Thank you to everyone for following us,
watching the videos,
and actually commenting on them.
It's great to have that feedback from you.
So your question is, I've been watching your SRAM
bleeding clip.
I got myself an Avid Kit for my SRAM Guide RS Brakes.
It's on a Canyon Spectral 2017 Model
but I noticed the fitting
of the syringe is threaded and different from
the syringe fitting that you're using in your clip.
Does it also work with the threaded syringe for the SRAM
Models after 2015?
Would like to avoid opening the packaging in terms of
a possible exchange.
I'll send you a pic for your bike vault soon.
Yes, please do.
Okay, so this is the fitting you have from your
description and this is the fitting that I use in the video.
So they're both for SRAM brakes.
This is for the older style and this is the one
that's got the bleeding edge port on there.
Now the way you can identify which ones you need to use,
is if you look at the screen right now.
The one on the left hand side of the screen is the brake
that you need for threaded style, adapter you already have
and the one on your right is the one for the Bleeding Edge.
That should help you identify
which one of these you do need.
Now not all SRAM brakes have that port.
I've had some newer bikes in my collection,
that still have the older style port
and some of the older ones have the newest style ports.
There are certain serial numbers of brakes that have changed
over the years but all brakes from now,
moving forward will have that bleeding edge port.
Now you can also just buy the bleeding edge adapter
and use that on your existing syringe kit.
So you can have that and that way
you've got everything covered for all occasions.
So that is worth considering,
especially if you've gone throught the hassle of
having a bleeding kit in the first place,
it's kind of good to have more stuff than less
because you can hope your main bleeds their brakes,
that sort of stuff.
So there's a link on the screen as well,
to where you can get a Bleeding Edge tool.
Obviously, those two photos will hopefully help you
identify which ones that you need.
Next up is a good question.
I really like this one.
This is from Alexander Ashman.
I just noticed a tear in the sidewall of my tire.
I wonder if it's a problem?
I have no idea how it happened.
Should I do something about it?
Or is it fine?
Let's look at his picture.
So the tires, especially ground control.
Yeah, that's a pretty big tire slash on there.
It doesn't look like its gone all the way through
but on the actual sidewall,
I can actually start to see some of the threading in there.
Ideally, you should replace it.
However, I made a video on repairing a tire sidewall slash
just like this one.
If you look on the screen in a moment,
you can see how I'm doing the repair.
I'll just run you through it.
So what you need to do is take the
tire off your bike completely.
Get yourself a decent needle and thread.
I used linen thread 'cause it's really quite tough stuff,
it's got a thick thread.
You need a leather needle to get through
that tire sidewall.
You can simply stitch that up.
Once you've stitched it,
you're going to need some vulcanizing
rubber glue on the outside of the tire.
The one I used in the video is called Shoe Goo.
It's basically designed for skateboarding shoes to put on
your leading edge foot so when you're doing
ollies and stuff,
you're not gonna really wear out your trainers.
As a result, this stuff is really flexible so
it works perfectly on outside of the tire.
Then on the inside of the tire,
you're gonna need to repair that as well
just to make sure there's no chance of that
split going through.
Now I use an all-terrain vehicle tire patch.
There's various different ones in the market.
You can get them on Amazon,
and any sort of online place.
Repair that with your typical vulcanizing solution
and then you're good to go.
Make sure that you monitor it though
and make sure you don't start running really
higher pressures on it because the thread won't hold.
But it does mean you'll be able to get
more use out of the tire
before you have to throw it away for recycling.

Why You AREN'T MAKING SALES in Your Dropshipping Store or Facebook Ads (& How to Fix It) - Duration: 19:13.
Sarah: Hey guys, it's me Sarah, the video editor here at Wholesale Ted. So now I think
that everyone remembers that dramatic moment of how it feels when you make your first sale
online. Presenter: And the winner of her first ever
sale is, Sarah Crisp. Sarah: Wow this is just very unexpected, I'm
feeling so emotional right now. I don't know what to say. Actually, that's not quite true,
I have a very long speech prepared. I don't think I'm going to be winning that jet ski.
Yeah, there's actually no way to describe that rush, the euphoria, that you feel. Making
your first sale is awesome. But of course, some of you have yet to make your first sale,
and there are words to describe how that feels, but because Wholesale Ted is a family friendly
place, I won't say what they are. So if you want to know why you or other people that
you see set up a store, run traffic to it, but don't make any sales, this video is for
you. I'm going to be asking you fifteen hard questions
about your store and your ads and I want you to answer them honestly. The chances are for
many of you, you will be doing several of these things correctly and that is awesome.
But keep listening, because the chances are if you're not making any sales, you're not
doing so good in other areas. So see which things you're doing right and which things
you can improve on. Got it? Cool. Let's jump straight into the video.
Question one. Can your products be found in a mall? If you could go to the mall right
now and find the product that you where drop shipping, the chances are you shouldn't be
selling it. Probably the worst offending niche for this is clothing. People start clothing
Dropshipping all the time, but here is the problem. Often time people are selling clothing
that they could buy practically anywhere else. So yes, if you are selling something that
is super unique like this, then that is unique and original. But this white beanie, no. Yes
it is a nice white beanie, but it is still just a white beanie.
Now this is bad for two reasons. As I explained in my video, do not Dropship these items,
selling common items does have low conversions. Why? Well because there is no sense of urgency
for them to purchase this item from you. Instead of waiting for your version to arrive in two
to four weeks later, they can go right now to the mall and buy something very similar.
But there is an additional reason why I did not mention in that video, and that is perceived
value. Perceived value is the price that a consumer could conceivably believe that an
item is worth. So when they look at your white beanie, they think to themselves "Huh, what
does Hollister price their white beanies at?" And now suddenly they have a point of reference
as to what your white beanie should be priced at. See the reason why in this industry we
can take items that cost $2 and sell them for four times the price, is because we are
selling unique items that our perspective customers have never seen at their local Target.
They love cats. They love coffee. And now they can get cat coffee spoons! They didn't
even know that this item existed. So, within reason, you now get to set the price.
Question two. Are your product ad images good enough? Take a good hard look at the product
images that you are using in your ad. Because you need to remember, the most important part
for conversions for your ad, is the images. This is a great picture because it clearly
shows what is unique and special about this mug. That it's got a violin for the handle.
This, this is actually not a very good product image. Why? Well because you can't see what
makes this much cool, which is the fact that it stirs drinks for you. Now yes, it may say
self stirring mug on the image, but what you're asking the customer to do is to tale the time
to conceptualize what this means. People are scrolling through your Facebook feeds at lightning
speed. You need to make sure that you've got an amazing image that grabs their attention.
Of course this mug actually does quite well as a video ad. Why? Well because a video shows
what makes it unique and special. It shows drinks actually being mixed. So perhaps you
are selling products that really should be advertised as videos instead. Or perhaps you're
selling products that are simply not photogenic or camera-genic period. And if you are, I
recommend stop trying to sell them because it's not going to end well.
Question three. Are your product listing images good enough? Product images are the most important
part of your ad. And they are the most important part of your product listing. People do not
underestimate the importance of product images. It has been shown in multiple tests that product
images are the number one conversion factor when it comes to selling products. So do take
the time to track down good images of your product.
It was actually Greg Mercer from Jungle Scout that taught me the importance of photos. Because
while Dropshippers often take this issue lightly, Amazon sellers do not. When Greg released
his private label product Jungle sticks for Amazon, He made sure to have photos that clearly
showed the product at multiple angles. And then he made sure to have a photo that showed
the height of his bamboo sticks. This was to help overcome objections from people wondering
if they were long enough. Plus he also made sure to include a photo of his product being
used in real life context, as this has been shown to help perspective customers visualize
themselves using it. And once you get a customer to visualize themselves using it, that is
when the credit cards start to come out. Question four. Does your store have a custom
color scheme? Here is what we are asking perspective customers to do. We are asking them to, even
though they have never seen us before, even though they have never interacted with us
before, to, after seeing our advertisement, go ahead and click on it. And then again,
even though they didn't know us ten minutes ago, to go ahead and buy the product that
we are selling. And to give us their money, to trust us with their money. That may seem
like a big ask and that's because it is. Of course everyday thousands of people are
asking perspective customers they've never interacted with before to purchase from them.
And everyday thousands of customers say yes. But it's still a big ask, so to help them
say yes, we really need to try to use every opportunity that we can to build trust along
the process. And one way that you can do that is by actually putting an effort to create
a brand, a style, that matches the niche that you are targeting. This is why my video tutorial,
How to create a Shopify Aliexpress Dropshipping store, I tell people that they should be selecting
two colors to use throughout their store. This helps set your start apart and makes
people feel like they have landed on a real store, a real brand, not just a lazy website
that's been set up to take their money. And of course two colors is a starting point.
If you would like to use even more to set your store apart, then that is great. Not
sure what colors to use? Or what colors look good together? Then use tools like Coolers
to help you. Question five. Does your store have a custom
logo? Just like a custom color scheme, having a custom logo is an essential way to turn
your store from a generic website set up to take peoples money, into a brand. You can
make one for yourself, but I suggest that most people out there go to Fiver and get
them to create a simple logo for you for just five dollars plus the fifty cent transaction
fee. Question six. Does your product appeal to
a certain niche? Something that you always need to keep in mind when you are drop shipping
a product in your store and advertising it on places like Facebook and Instagram is,
your goal is to get people to impulse buy. Say it again with me people. Your goal is
to get them to impulse buy. Yes again for everyone that e-mails in wondering why some
people would buy from you despite the long shipping times, it's because they have purchased
from you out of impulse. And when you purchase something out of impulse, you don't do it
with price checking competitors. You don't go to Amazon and check what price they are
selling it at with two day prime shipping. So how do you trigger these impulsive feelings
in someone? Well selling a unique item as we have already established is very important.
But you also need to make sure that you are appealing to a niche that people really truly
love. Because that way when they see the picture or the video of the product that you are advertising,
it will trigger an emotional reaction in them. So these long coffee spoons, I mean, they're
helpful and kind of original, don't get me wrong. But you're probably going to have a
much easier time selling these cat coffee spoons. Why? Well because there are a group
of people out there that really truly love cats. There are fan clubs for cats. There
aren't really fan clubs for people that like long utensils.
Question seven. Did you add scarcity to your products? So guys, tell me. What is it that
we are trying to do with our product ads? Speaker 2: Impulse buy!
Speaker 1: That's right! Good job! We want people to impulse buy. So we know that if
we want to get people to impulse buy, that we need to pick products that are unique and
that appeal to niches that people love. But there is something else we want to throw in
there. And that is scarcity. It is the cherry on top. We want to discount our product and
make the customer really truly believe that it is for a limited amount of time. And you
need to make sure in your product ad and your product description, that the customer really
and truly knows that it is limited. It could be that it expires after three days. It could
be that it expires after stocks run out. Or it could be that you are giving away your
product for free but only for the next one hundred people as long as you pay the shipping.
Whatever your scarcity is, make sure that you include it.
Question eight. Have you added scarcity to every product that you are selling? If you
did, listen if every single product in your store is discounted at fifty percent off,
then the customer quickly figures out that every item is not actually discounted at fifty
percent off. And in addition, having items that are priced at their normal price increases
the sense of urgency for the customer. By seeing other similar items priced at twenty
dollars, then it makes them think that, wow, this ten dollar item could really be twenty
dollars. I need to act now so that I can take advantage of this discount. And don't get
me started on stores that have countdown timers on every single product page. Don't do it.
Question nine. Did you add twenty products to your store? Inside the Dropship club, our
premium video training series, I host a live Q & A session for our members every month.
One of the questions that was asked in our March session was this, "How can I make writing
product descriptions faster?" Now the short version of the answer that I gave her is that
often times product descriptions between products can be repurposed. But I did understand where
she was coming from with this question. Because it can be quite time consuming when you create
unique product descriptions for all of the things that you are selling. But it is worth
it. Don't skip this part. Would you trust a store that only has five products? Unless
it's a brand that you know doesn't sell that many, the chances are you would not trust
that store. It looks unprofessional. It makes it look like your store is almost unfinished.
You will be hurting your conversions if you try and advertise to a store like this. So
don't be lazy. Make sure that you add twenty products to your store.
Question ten. Did you add product descriptions for each of the products that you are selling?
So if you have been listening now and you think to yourself, "Well what's Sara talking
about? It takes two second to write a product description!" You should probably listen to
this. I had a friend who came to me with a moderately successful Dropshipping store.
They were making fifty to a hundred dollars a day. It was a nice side hustle. But yes,
it was a side hustle. And he wanted to know how could he turn it into a primary hustle.
Why was his traffic not converting better? So I took a look at the website and it was
selling some super cool t-shirts. Definitely no generic white t-shirts here. But his product
descriptions were literally a sentence that was two lines long. And all it talked about
were the fabric features. I mean literally two lines long. He didn't even include anything
like secure checkout with MasterCard and Visa. Nothing.
Now images are still the most important part of a product listing which is probably why
he was still able to make sales despite this. But if you don't have a product description
then it's going to hurt your stores credibility. And it's going to make it harder for customers
to trust you. Now don't get me wrong, product descriptions don't have to be super long.
If you're running pay traffic, then short sweet product descriptions usually convert
best. A nice product description length to aim for in this case are two short paragraphs
that perhaps two to three sentenced long. And the product description should be using
sales psychology techniques that sale the customer on the benefits of the product and
not the features. After that you can then list your lines like secure checkout with
MasterCard and Visa. Or this product is not available in retail stores. Or then you can
start listing the product features like the type of fabric used. And of course if you
are Dropshipping from Aliexpress, then you should make sure at the end of your product
description that you include a shipping time disclaimer. And that you bold it so that the
customer doesn't have an excuse for not seeing it.
Question eleven. Have you tested twenty products? I'm going to show you a comment that I received
recently and I'm going to blur out the name of the person who sent it. Basically they
were upset for three reasons. One, they purchased a membership to the Dropship Club and they
didn't get one on one support. Two, they thought I should be offering one on one coaching.
And three, they were upset because they had followed the steps in the course and they
didn't make money. Alright, let's break this down.
Firstly we have always made it quite clear, if you purchase a membership to the Dropship
club, you do not get one on one support. Our course costs just sixtyseven dollars a month.
For a Dropshipping course that is quite cheap and I even do run a live Q & A session for
members every month. If we were to offer one on one support, the cost would honestly have
to be a lot more. Secondly, I am going to be honest I found
it hurtful that he said that I should be offering coaching. To suggest that I am ethically obligated
to offer coaching, even if you are willing to pay me thousands of dollars an hour, is
quite offensive. It is my time. It's my life. I am not someones puppet. And actually something
tat a lot of people don't know is that I have a speech and hearing impairment so even if
I did coach it would be quite stressful for me. SO, no.
But perhaps the most frustrating part of this comment is that the author says they followed
the steps outlined inside the Dropship Club perfectly and didn't make any money, yet freely
admits that they only tested five products. That is despite the fact that inside the Dropship
Club videos and on this channel I very clearly state that you should be prepared to, at minimum,
test twenty products. And I'm even extremely up front with how much money you should set
aside for this process. So, no. No they did not follow my instructions. Instead, surprise
surprise, they went into this thinking they were looking for a business, when actually
what they were looking for was a magical money tree. Now you night find a winner in the first
five items that you test, and if you do that is awesome, but that is unusual. Please do
not go into this expecting that to happen to you. And do not blame me if it doesn't.
Question twelve. Did you run a Facebook like campaign to your fan page? Before you run
product ads on Facebook, it is a good idea to run a simple like campaign to your stores
fan page. Why? Well it's because of social proof. I mean, yes, everyday people are buying
from shoddy Facebook store fan pages that have just twelve likes. But they have probably
be making way more sales if they put a little bit more effort in. I feel so strongly about
this that when I created my video, How to start Dropshipping with only fifty dollars,
I included it as one of the steps. And when you've only got fifty dollars to work with,
every single dollar counts. And yet I still recommended setting aside twelve percent of
that budget for a Facebook like campaign. Question thirteen. DO you have trust words
and emblems in your store? All of these individual things that we are doing to build trust with
our customers like adding lots of products to our store and running Facebook like campaigns,
it's unlikely that one of these things is individually going to make or break sales.
But it's all about the collective power of doing so. By doing all of these things we
help to build trust with the customer. So if you haven't already, go ahead and add some
trust words and emblems to your store. Say things like secure checkout with MasterCard
and Visa. Or noting that products can be tracked with USPS. And yes, each package shipment
can be tracked with USPS. These names, these brands, they have an enormous amount of trust
associated with them. And by namedropping them and associating yourself with them on
your store, a little bit of their trust rubs off onto you.
Question fourteen. Are your products being priced at fifteen dollars or less? It's been
a little while since I've talked about this. So quick question, what is the goal with our
product ads? Speaker 2: Impulse buy!
Speaker 1: That's right! And for an item to be an impulse purchase it needs to be priced
low enough that the potential customer doesn't think too much before purchasing it. And as
a result I find that most new Dropshippers do struggle to sell items that are priced
at fifteen dollars or higher as a front end product. And actually the truth is, is that
the real sweet spot os nine dollars and ninetynine cents, because there is a huge psychological
barrier from going from one digit to two digit pricing. The reality is this. When consumers
look at the discount number they want to see it as a big number, but when they look at
the price, they want to see it as a small number. And yes you can successfully Dropship
and sell items that are priced higher than this, but they require more advanced selling
techniques and require you to build more trust with the potential customer. You are new.
Make it as easy on yourself as possible. Stick to selling impulse items.
Question fifteen. Have you done a test purchase? And finally before you start running product
ads for your store, it is a good idea to run a test purchase first. I have actually run
into people who didn't do this and they started running product ads, and traffic was coming
through, and they weren't making any sales. And they were so upset. What is happening?
And when they realized that it wasn't their product ad or their images or their copy that
was the problem, but simply that they hadn't set out their checkout process correctly,
they were quite embarrassed. So there we go guys. This video did get a
little bit emotional and personal at times but I hope that it helped you anyway. And
