Youtube daily Or May 5 2018

So if you don't like making the bundles like this that

literally just fall out as you need it as you tug on it you can always use a clothes pin in order to secure it

as well.

Let me show you how to

set that up and therefore you can use that to be able to organize your yarn when you're doing all your macrame. So taking your

clothes pin just like you have this is the end of the strand.

This is the very last uh, part so this, this where it leads to is going right into the project itself.

So all you're just going to do is just open up your clothes pin and just put it down

before

it goes to this circle. So

okay, so there you see it, and now you're going to take the remaining of this yarn and just

like

snuggly or just securely just kind of wrap the rest of this. You don't want to wrap this to the point that you can't open

up your

clothes pin.

So you can take your whole cord depending on how long it is to be able to apply it to this and

then when you're satisfied with the length of it all you just need to do is that you just have to open up your

clothes pin, just like you see and then just pull the strand through that open circle

just like you see. So now your yarn strand can be held onto there and as you need one yarn

just open it up and just pull a few and then to lock it back in just open it back up and

just put it back inside.

So this would be how to use a clothes pin in order to control your cords and your strands from being able to

come apart on your project.

Astra Blades-Old New Real or Counterfeit? - Duration: 3:20.

Greetings Gents! I'm Geofatboy for ShaveNation.com I've had a few phone

calls regarding Astra blades the double edge razor blades the Superior Platinum

and the Superior Stainless blades Superior Stainless - Superior Platinum.

What they were asking about Gents who called in were asking about the numbers

on the blades. Previously I'd shown in a few videos that Astra blades have

numbers like this: not sure if you can see it but there's 1-2 on one side

and then on the other side there's 3-4 and these are also stamped on both

sides Astra Superior Platinum and so you blade flippers who flip blades in

between shaves and you think that possibly you get a longer-lasting blade

by doing so it's quite possible but I don't know if there's any scientific

evidence to prove that but if you do it that's fine. This will make it more

difficult for you, you won't be happy about this.

They've eliminated the numbers on the blades so what they are doing now is

they this is the old blade Astra Superior Platinum the new blade it is

just going to be printed on one side as you can see one side is blank

completely blank nothing on there and then it will be laser inscribed on this

side Astra Superior Platinum and it's a little harder to read that and they no

longer have the numbers on the blades.

So unfortunately you'll have to keep track of

you're flipping another way, maybe take a sharpie and put a mark on the blade

something like that. I did a little research because I was curious I thought

wow! - I wonder if these blades are counterfeit? Are they're real are they

legit ,what's happening? So the email I got back was: This is to inform you that

we will be changing the way we print our double-edge blades and transfer to the

new laser marking technology. This will deliver a completely new and improved

appearance of the product. Important Points: 1) There will be no impact on

shaving performance using engraved versus printed DE blades. So what they're

saying is the blades shave performance, exactly the same. No change. 2) Laser marking

on blades will be done on one side only. As you see right here. 3) Laser marking is

significantly harder to counterfeit. So that might play a big part in why they

might be doing this. 4) This will be executed as a blind change-meaning

they're not going to change the packaging. The old package for the

Superior Platinum is the same no change from the new to the old and the same

thing with the astra superior stainless no change from the new to the old. It

still will remain the same so I just wanted to let you know and hopefully

clarify things just so you know that the blade itself should be no change as far

as sharpness, durability, shave provided, anything like that so the only change

will be in the physical appearance of the blade. Instead of Astra Superior

Platinum with numbers printed on both sides like so, it will just be Astra

Superior Platinum laser inscribed on one side with nothing on the other side. So I

hope that clears things up for you, by the way if you want to pick up any of

these blades: ShaveNation.com Thanks very much for watching. I'm Geofatboy Have A

Great Shave, Have A Great Day!

Crypto News (May 2018): India for or Against Crypto? + Largest ICO Ever Canceled! - Duration: 7:04.

Hey guys, how's it going it's Brendan here from hyped on crypto?

I hope all of you guys are having a good morning evening wherever you guys are from and today

I'm going to be going through and explaining everything

That's happening with the curie cryptocurrency

situation within to buy in India now if you guys don't know as of recently they have really been going back and forth on whether

They want cryptocurrency in their country or not

But we're also going to be talking about what they're going to be integrating

Revolving blockchain technology come the year 2020 moving into our second topic

We're going to be talking about telegram, and how they cancel their one point seven billion dollar

ICO, and why this is so significant within the cryptocurrency community

so you guys are just to go ahead and stick around for the entire video and

Do not forget the hippie like and subscribe button as it will help out the channel a lot

But that being said let's go into a pond into the video

If you guys don't know India has been against cryptocurrencies for almost the entire duration of 2018 originally

They said that they did not want anything to do with cryptocurrencies

Following that they said that they only wanted to deal with the Bitcoin

Following that they said that they only wanted to get rid of ICO

So we're left confused on where they stand on crypto currencies because they keep changing this

But it sounds like they're on the fence about the issue and about ready to welcome cryptocurrency and blockchain

Technology into their country now this makes sense as to why they don't want it in their country as of yet

Because they are a technological giant and so integrating blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies would mean that it would bring

Decentralization and thus removing some of the power that they would have from the government over the economy now, this is something

That's understandably I guess that they're understandably scared of however. This is something that could be extremely good

Especially for a technologically advanced country like India and like the city of Dubai is right now

So you can't help but be bullish and you can't help

But think this is great for both cryptocurrencies and for India

Seeing you know the blockchain dart coming into the the poster that says welcome to to buy. That's something

That's so great to see and we're seeing more and more countries and more and more cities every single day every single week

Open their doors to cryptocurrency and open their doors to blockchain technology so as we see the title of this guy's Dubai launches their

Blockchain business registry to ease into a market entry now

This is awesome as we see that they want to start easing into blockchain technology

And then probably ease even more into cryptocurrencies and then into AI cos so you know come the year

2020 because that's when they are going to be launching this thing

They're going to be officially opening their doors to the cryptocurrency world and welcoming it and so that's awesome to hear. It's awesome

they're getting to see another huge country like India is in another gigantic city like the city of the by being open to

Blockchain technology how much it's going to revolutionize

Their world for the better so we know that the BI is actually going to be partnering with IBM for this

Entire program because they want to make sure that the BI stays on the government side and how they are going to be

Regulating and calling the shots behind blockchain and crypto currencies as much as they can and we have IBM on the technical side

Really handling all the technical matters and running it while

Dubai and the government is calling the shots because they want to make sure that they keep as much regulation as much power and as

Much control over their economy as they can for at least as long as they can but they know that blockchain and cryptocurrencies

Will only do good for them

and that's why they are entering into this I

Guess in such a slow manner because they want to make sure that they do it right and there is

Nothing wrong with that so lots of great stuff coming out again guys

You cannot help but be bullish seeing that more countries and more cities are welcoming in

Blockchain cryptocurrency technology especially within the Middle East as we're almost having this kind of radical transitions

We're seeing you know all these countries over in the Middle East starting to adopt and open their doors to cryptocurrency

So jumping into our second topic here. We have the telegram ICO getting cancelled now. This is significant because they were a

1.7. Billion dollar IC Owen to put this in perspective for you guys there's only been 12 billion dollars raised in IC OS

Since crypto I cos were even started now

If you guys don't know what telegram is telegram is a popular messaging

application much like discord skyping GroupMe

And it grew in popularity within the cryptocurrency

Community because crypto leaders and crypto traders were able to go into these groups and post notifications

And trade setups and this began to become a hub where cryptocurrency traders could find info

And news and other such media like that and telegram started rising in popularity especially within the blockchain and cryptocurrency

Community because it was so easy to create

You know this army or this fan base by using their application so what we see is that telegram decides to launch their own

ICO because they were rising with such Fame so fast and so when they decided to start their ICO

They raved over 1.7. Billion dollars, which is again incredible however

They've recently canceled their ICO for undisclosed reasons, and this is huge because again guys

This is the biggest ICO that has ever been funded and so for something this big. They get cancelled. It's not a good thing

It's not a comfortable thing

And it doesn't tell the outside world that you know we are this

This dominant get ready force and that is exactly why the US government right now is judging cryptocurrencies and ICO is as two

Completely different things and they are saying

Here's our regulating body for IC OS and here's our regulating body for crypto currencies because as of right now

They are extremely different, and they need to be treated as two completely separate entities

So I don't think that there's anything wrong with this however you guys know my thoughts on AI cos

I think I see us definitely have a lot of regulation to come because we cannot have IC use their 1.7 billion dollars

Just backing out last second as it's not only unprofessional, but a little bit scary when it comes to all that money

And how that's gonna get back to the original owners, so we're gonna see what's happening a telegram, ICO

It's not an official scam yet as they have released. It's too early to call this a scam

You know because it literally have just cancelled this so it's gonna come back over time

We're gonna have to play the time game and see as to whether they actually give back all the money that was funded towards them

Hopefully they do that would be the moral thing that would be the correct thing and that would definitely help

cryptocurrencies and especially I SEOs name throughout the world right now as we are seeing a hole over Twitter and Facebook and

Google and how they are just

bashing on I coz cryptocurrencies and linking the two together because there has been so many ICO scams as of lately so

Hopefully we're able to see telegram come back out refund the money or even

Relaunch their ICO, maybe just at a later date

I saw that as another possibility so they could not be officially done yet

They could just be postponing this, but we're gonna find out as more information comes out on this telegram

I see oh so I hope this video did help you guys if you guys did enjoy this do not forget to hit the like

And subscribe button as it does how about the channel a lot and I will see you guys in the next video

But until then stay height

Working hard -or smart? -Tapping with Clara - Duration: 8:29.

Let's start doing some tapping

I was told, I don't know what you were told,

that I have to work very hard in order to be successful

And I did.

And I got to the point that I had a break down

I remember I spent 4 years without taking vacation

Without taking time off from work. And many times I worked 7 days a week

12, 14, 16 hours a day

And I felt so guilty taking time off

I felt like .. if I did I was becoming lazy

because my mom's words just kept ringing to my ears

So, let's tap on that because

maybe you're having the same problem. And maybe you are not resting enough

thinking that that's the way to success

Remember if you choose to tap with me, you take responsibility over your own well being

Even though I feel guilty when I take time off

I feel so guilty when I am not working hard

I learned that I have to work hard

in order to be successful

and I worked very hard

And sometimes I am so tired

that I am not as effective as I should be

And I feel guilty

And even though I feel guilty if I am not working hard

I choose to love and accept myself anyway

Even though I feel guilty if I am not working hard

I learned that I needed to work hard

very hard

in order to be successful

And I want to be successful

I don't want to be label as lazy

And even though I feel guilty if I am not working hard

I choose to love and accept myself anyway

Even though I feel guilty if I am not working hard

I choose to love and accept myself

and all those people who taught me that

And I am open to the possibility

that they were wrong.

I feel guilty

This guilt

This guilt

I feel so guilty

I feel guilty if I am not working hard

I want to be successful

And I learned that

to be successful I have to work very hard

So I feel guilty when I take time off

I feel guilty when I want to rest

I even feel guilty when I feel so tired

I should have more energy

I should be able to do more

I got to do , do , do

I feel guilty when I am not doing

I am tired

and I realized that sometimes

I am not very effective

when I am working feeling so tired

Sometimes I don't even sleep well

because I feel guilty

I should be working hard

Or maybe

Maybe I shouldn't

Maybe working hard is not the key

to be successful

Maybe working so hard

it is even bad for my health

because my body and my mind need rest

So maybe

I need to learn to relax

I need to learn to take time off

I need to learn to take time for myself

I am open to the possibility

that people who taught me

that I needed to work hard in order to be successful

were wrong.

And I am ready

to let go of this need

I am ready to let go of the need to work so hard

I am ready to let go of the guilt

Letting go of this guilt

Letting go of the guilt

I am letting it go completely

And I am open to the possibility

that when I take time for me

that when I take time to rest

I become more effective

I become more productive

I become more successful

So maybe the key is not to work hard

but to work smart.

and allow my mind and my body

to take time off

because when I rest

my mind and my body recuperate

They recover

And when I am feeling good

I can be more productive

So I give myself permission

to take time for myself

I give myself permission to rest

I give myself permission to take time off

I give myself permission to learn

the art of doing nothing

Because sometimes I need to do nothing

in order to be more productive later.

I am open to the possibility

that I can learn the art

of doing nothing

the art of resting,

because I deserve it

because I want to feel good

So I give myself permission to rest

I give myself permission to give myself some breaks

Don't have to be long breaks

Even if I rest a few minutes

to stretch

to walk around

to read a page or two of a book

to hug a tree

then I feel better

I can work better

I can be more productive

I will have more energy

I give myself permission to rest

I give myself permission to work smarter instead of harder

because I am successful

I give myself permission to be successful

peacefully and lovingly.

Take a break

Rest. Even if they are short breaks. Take them> They are good.

No, you don't have to work hard, and kill yourself in the process.

Enjoy it.

Blessings.

U.S. Marine George Anikow Killed In Makati (Murder or Homicide?) - Duration: 7:04.

U.S. Marine George Anikow brutally murdered in Makati Philippines Stay tuned.

MUSICPLAYING

This is a continuation of our series on Crime in The Philippines.

George, Major George Anikow.

United States Marine Corps.

On November 24, 2012, met his death.

George was born in the United States.

Grew up in Howell, New Jersey, graduated High School, went to Rhode Island University.

And then he joined the United States Marines.

There he rose from the rank of a grunt to the rank of a Major in the United States Marine Corps.

So here we have a man of huge character, a hero.

a veteran of the United States Marines.

Now George was married for 15 years, he father of 3 children,

he had a tour in Iraq, had another tour in Afghanistan,

Now fast forward, George is married and his wife is an American diplomat.

She was assigned to the United States Embassy in Manila.

George wanting to be with his family, got an assignment on the Security Team at the United State mbassy.

So George arrived in Manila, in the Philippines in August of 2012.

In November, November 24th to be exact, 2012, George was coming home from a night out.

He went to the bar and he was a little tipsy.

A little inebriated.

He was walking down the street going to one of his Buddies house

He got to the guard at the gate where his buddy lived, his buddy lived in a very exclusive

residence called the Rockwell area.

He went to the guard and asked him what time the gates would be opened and the guard told

him 5:30

So the next thing you know, a car comes up.

And the guard stops the car and said sir, I need your ID.

In the vehicle, there were 4 men.

George became agitated and said, Respect the guard, Respect the guard, Show him your ID,

He just kept going on and on and the people in the car got very agitated.

The men got very agitated.

Long story short, they showed George, they showed the police, they showed the guard,

their ID

And George kept on trying to agitate the men.

Next thing you know the car tried to pull off and George tapped the rear end of the

vehicle with his fist.

The men in the car stopped and the four men approached George face to face.

George knocked down one of the men.

Next thing you know, all 4 men were on top of George running at him trying to get him.

Now George did okay, he fought the men off for a few minutes, but he couldn't continue

because there were 4 of them.

Next thing you know, George was running for his life, and the men finally caught up with

him and they assaulted him and George met his demise.

MUSIC PLAYING

So, this is a tragic story but there are some lessons to be learned from this story.

Number 1, Filipinos never fight fair. There is no thing, no such thing as a fair fight

with a Filipino.

If you mess with one, right around the corner you're going to find his brother or friend

or his relative.

So there's no such thing as a fair fight

Number 2, When you're in the Philippines, watch how much you drink, if you drink

Because when you're inebriated you can't defend yourself, when you're inebriated you can't even think half the time.

Number 3.Whenever you're in the Philippines, and you're around other Filipinos, stay in your lane,

That's what my grandma always told me, stayin your lane, mind your business.

Was it George's business to agitate the men in the car?

And try to assist the guard with his job?

Those are some things we need to consider when we're in the Philippines.

Now in the comments section of this video,I want you to write down and tell me what your thoughts are regarding this story.

Tragic death of an outstanding American.

That's it, for now, guys this is BobbieD, saying take care God Bless, PEACE!

10+ Things A True Narcissist Cannot Do For You (or Anyone else) - Duration: 4:45.

10+ Things A True Narcissist Cannot Do For You (or Anyone else)

We have all encountered them at one time or another, that co-worker who believes they

are stronger, smarter and better at everything than you, or that family member who manages

to turn every conversation back around to feature them.

A study from the National Institutes of Health determined that 9.4 percent of 20- to 29-year-olds

exhibit extreme narcissism, compared with 3.2 percent of those older than 65.

This doesn't include the number of people who fall somewhere along the spectrum, but

not quite to the degree of the full diagnosis.

With such a staggering number of narcissists walking among us, how can you tell when you

are face to face, dealing with one?

Watch for these signs…

#1 - They don't take responsibility.

Any type of responsibility in one's life opens them up to criticism and judgement,

and a narcissist can't handle shame or blame!

They will schedule their entire lives to avoid any situation in which they must step up to

the plate.

#2 - They cannot love you.

One thing for sure if you have a relationship with narcissist, they can only 'love'

you when they can get some benefit from you, which means that is not a real love at all.

You may seen their caring is pure, but most of the time they will only act intentionally,

as if they love you, but only to get what they want.

Later when they cannot benefit from you anymore, they will move on soon enough.

Remember that you're not someone they consider to be important and that is their fault, not

yours.

After all, the only thing that they love is themselves.

#3 - They avoid any 'true' emotion.

While a narcissist may say nearly anything to keep the attention on themselves, they

will go out of their way to avoid any sense of true emotion.

They hide their feelings to avoid vulnerability, but are not above playing the victim to get

their way.

#4 - They are guilty of name-dropping.

Anything that can make a narcissist look better or more important is a win in their book,

and name-dropping gives them the illusion of exactly that.

#5 - They don't give a shit about how you feel.

This is obvious, they literally don't give anything at all about you, they don't care

whether they hurt your feelings or not.

As long as they get what they want, your emotions simply do not matter to them.

In any case, they will do whatever they want whether it bothers you or not.

#6 - They never apologize.

It's hard to admit when we're run, and even harder when someone has themselves convinced

that they are ALWAYS right.

Their sense of superiority lead them to believe they are better compared to those around them,

and also they would never ever stoop to confessing fault and also excusing their actions.

#7 - They cannot offer you security.

You will always be on your toes when you are in a relationship with a narcissist.

Walking on eggshells is in no way secure.

You will feel as if it is impossible to please them, and yet you're always the one who afraid

to lose them.

#8 - Everything is about them, not about you.

They can control any discussion into being about them.

A narcissist should feel like the interest gets on them, so when a conversation diverts

far from this crucial subject they are extremely skilled at bringing it right back to a story

centered around them once again.

#9 - They will never appreciate what you do for them.

They are takers, nothing you ever do will be good enough.

You can give a narcissist the world and he or she will still always want more.

Even if you do something filled with emotion it will be completely irrelevant.

#10 - Their social networks accounts include a ton of good friends, and not even a single

poor picture, they are like, amazing.

Social media site for a narcissist is about status, they wish to look comparable to they

can for as many individuals as possible.

It's a method to brag up their 'ideal' life as well as appear extremely popular at the

same time!

#11 - They will never see you as their equal.

The narcissist will always think that he or she is better than you and everyone else.

You will never be on the same level as the narcissist inside his or her mind.

Do you really want to be with someone who thinks less of you?

Well, those are some of the things that narcissists will never do for you (or anyone else).

So, Really cool information isn't it?

I hope you enjoy this short video, if you have something on your mind, please share

your thoughts and experiences in the comments below!

-------------------------------------------

Why is it so hard to sit down and study or work - Duration: 4:45.

There are days, weeks and sometimes even months where your desire to do something productive

is barely existent.

Theres a possibility that you're having a depression episode, but most likely you

aren't, because you're not sad, you're just not feeling compelled enough to get up

and do stuff, stuff that maybe not today, but surely in the future will contribute to

a better life for you, or maybe even for your family and society.

And to properly understand the reasons and solutions to this problem, we need to have

a better understanding of the underlying processes that are taking place when we talk about motivation.

If you're hungry that's not just a simple drive that's pushing you to get something

to eat, it's more of a subpersonality that has a goal, it has a bunch of action patterns

related to that particular goal, and it organizes your emotional responses around that goal.

We can look at it from another perspective.

We could say that motivation set goals, and emotions track progress towards goals.

Generally speaking motivation determines what your aim is, so if you are thirsty you are

going to aim at something to drink, and that will automatically alter your perception so

you zero out everything that is not relevant to that goal.

Once you start to focus on the few things that will guide you forward, your emotions

start to track your progress, so when you encounter those things that facilitate your

movement forward, that produces positive emotions.

On the other hand when you encounter some kind of threat, or blockage between you and

your goal, that produces negative emotions, and that can be anger, disappointment, grief

and so on.

And if you experience some of the more powerful negative emotions like pain for example, that

can cause you to abandon your goal and turn back.

So why is it so hard to get up and do stuff.

And it might be that you just don't have any goals, it might be that you're aiming

at nothing.

So no aim, equals no emotions, which equals no neurochemical fuel to keep you going.

Your case might not be exactly the same, but it is a pretty accurate scenario.

And you might ask, how do you fix that?

Well you need to sit down and set your goals.

See, If you observe a starving rat in cage and it knows it has food at the end of a corridor,

if you put a little spring attached to his tail, you can measure the rats motivation

by measuring how hard the rat pulls, you can measure the displacement of the little spring,

and that will give you a quantization of the motivational force of the rat.

What's more interesting is, if you set up the same scenario with the rat trying to get

to some food and you spray some cat odor behind it, the starving rat would pull even harder,

because it it starving and he really wants to get the hell away from there.

So getting away and and getting somewhere are two distinct motivational systems, and

if you can combine them together then you can make a really powerful motivational force.

And you can start by sitting down and writing your perfect future, and also the possible

hell you want to avoid.

Let's say for example you're not motivated to work out.

You can start by imagining how perfect and healthy your body would be if you only started

to work out for 30 minutes a day, you can then imagine the clothes fitting you perfectly,

your posture, your health, stamina etc.

You can write everything down, you can write about the positive mood and outlook on life

you adopted since you started to work out.

Then imagine the opposite, imagine you being overweight, your IQ dropped because you didn't

exercise or had optimal body weight, so naturally your IQ decreased as you aged.

Imagine going to the doctor and he's telling you that you have an increased chance of heart

attack.

Imagine feeling anxious and depressed, without any self confidence or motivation, stuck being

overweight forever.

And that's a pretty terrifying future as far as I can tell.

Then once you do this, you can sit down and negotiate with yourself.

You can ask yourself, what would you want in return if you would work out for 30 minutes

a day for the next week.

That can be a walk in the park, a beer with your friends, playing video games like whatever

gets you excited, and then agree on that contract with yourself.

This reward, combined with the visualization of the ideal future and possible hell, is

going to produce a high level of motivation and drive to get you started on fixing the

dimensions of your life that need to be fixed.

Now, you have the knowledge, you know how emotions and goals contribute to your motivation,

you know techniques to combine two distinct motivational systems, and you know that you

need to negotiate instead of punishing or tyrannizing yourself.

So my advice is, do the visualisation, write your goals, get up do stuff.

Because If we all get our act together collectively, then maybe we can make this world just a little

bit better for all of us.

What SUITS a foreigner BETTER than a Japanese girl or boy? - Duration: 8:41.

Wearing a long once piece dress... I think foreigners suit that better...

Guys look cool in just jeans and a t-shirt.

Their faces are so beautiful. It's doubled up.

Hey guys it's Cathy Cat. I have a lot of Japanese people saying...

hey this suits you because you are a foreigner.

Even though I don't quite believe in that...

some people seem to have the image that certain things

suit foreigners a little bit better than Japanese people.

So this time we are gonna go and Ask Japanese,

what they think suits a foreigner maybe a little bit better than a Japanese person.

So let's go and ask Japanese.

I often hear "You suit this because you are a foreigner."

Are there things that suit foreigners better?

What's your personal opinion on that?

Short pants. Foreigners have a nice physique.

I think those suit them really well.

Short shorts? - Yes.

How short is good? - Up to right here.

Super short shorts suit foreigners and look cute.

Isn't that super short? - Yes.

I think that's good.

I see it a lot on models in magazines.

I think they look really cute.

I think about summer clothes. In summer, wearing a H&M long one piece dress...

suits a foreigner so well.

I look at that. I am really small in size.

I see a one piece dress but...

It would drag on the floor with me because it's so long.

But abroad there are so many tall people. I think it suits them so well.

Belly bottom free clothes look so good on foreigners.

In Japan people around would look weird at you.

"You are exposing yourself too much!"

That is socially not acceptable? - Yeah.

So it's a cultural taboo?

Maybe not culturally, but people around you will judge you harshly for it.

We don't have many sexy styles. Japanese tend to hide it more.

But hiding our bodies, that is very Japanese.

And showing skin, that is a foreigner thing.

So foreigners can expose their skin more, but not Japanese?

You could expose yourself, but nobody really does that.

They are long and skinny.

I think that's why it suits them better than Japanese people.

Foreigners? - Yes.

What type of clothes is so much better then?

Clothes that give a thin and long shape.

Foreigners tend to have beautiful skin.

What do you think suits them? - Suit... well...

Because they are tall, jeans and such.

What suits foreign boys?

Guys look cool in just jeans and a t-shirt.

Just a white shirt and jeans.

Simple coordinates like that look great.

They are generally stylishly thin and have great facial features.

That's already a style in itself.

Foreigners are stylishly thin.

They have pigments in their skin from very light to very dark.

There is a great variety of skin tones.

Instead of foreigners being worn by their clothes, they are wearing their clothes.

Anything seems to suit them.

Anything?

I think anything suits them.

What item in particular?

Simple basics.

And chique coordinates.

I look at foreign adults and thing it looks so good on them.

Japanese traditional clothes.

Hakama and similar traditional Japanese clothes.

So are foreigners allowed to wear kimono or yukata?

Their faces are so beautiful. Beauty is doubled up.

It feels a bit different though.

Generally these clothes are worn with dark hair.

From the times when people still painted their faces white.

But when foreigners wear a yukata it looks very beautiful.

They are so stylish so...

Japanese clothes have originally been made for Japanese people.

So when foreigners, with their physique wear Japanese kimono...

they are often a bit too tall.

It looks a bit mis-shaped in my opinion.

What suits Japanese people better then?

Kawaii culture clothes and such.

Anime and similar comes from Japan, right.

So I think that genre suits Japanese people best.

Do you mean cosplay or fashion?

Fashion.

With cosplay, you sometimes see foreigners who really look like that character

- So I will go with clothes. - Kawaii clothes. - Kawaii clothes!

Because we are Japanese we suit things like kimonos.

Japanese faces suit red kimonos, in my opinion.

So you vote for Japanese clothes and pop kawaii clothes. - Yes.

I think Japanese traditional clothes suit Japanese people.

- For generations... - Yes.

I also think Japanese people suit glasses. Normal glasses.

But then again sunglasses don't suit Japanese people.

In Japan, even in summer I don't see Japanese people wear sunglasses much.

Why is that so?

I think that's connected to the ultra violet rays.

We don't worry about our eyes, we just apply sunscreen.

We don't really have an opportunity to wear sunglasses.

That might be different.

We like wearing oversized items that hide our shape.

Foreigners have a better physique so I can't think of anything that suits us better.

Sometimes we see guys abroad wear really skinny clothes...

Yeah that looks cool.

Do you see Japanese people wear that?

Some guys do, but not many.

It doesn't suit us. - Not at all.

Thank you for the interview.

So what does suit a foreigner better than a Japanese person...

It seems to be that it is more than looks, it seems to be very cultural.

Japanese people are supposed to look modest. They are supposed to...

COVER up their skin.

While foreigners on the other side they can be sexy, they are tall...

while on the other side Japanese people are smaller but they are cute and kawaii.

It seems to be more of a cultural thing than actually a looks thing.

It seems heavy loaded with images that people have of foreigners

Of the tall skinny attractive foreigners...

Even though I am quite small.......

not as skinny as a model either. It seems to be very...

very much connected to what people imagine and you have to see that on the

posters in Tokyo you generally see,

Modelling for H&M and even japanese brands you see western models.

That pushes the image of the westerners looking good in these kinds of clothes.

While I think everyone looks good in whatever you wanna wear.

Even if you wear something outrageous, if you wear it with pride...

if you wear it with your own confidence, I think you can make it your own.

I think that is a really important thing to consider.

I always dress up in.. crazy style.

Something that other people might not wear.

I think it doesn't matter where you are from, how old you are, how you look,

if you wanna wear something, you should wear it. Wear it with pride and

and enjoy wearing it. That's the thing I wanted to say.

Anyways there is also my channel where I do more about fashion

if you wanna come over and visit me, that would be lovely.

If you are new to our channel, Ask Japanese, don't forget to subscribe

So you don't miss a future video where we interview people on the streets of Japan.

Anyways, I wish you a lovely day and I catch you soon on Ask Japanese, bye.

Top 11 Adventure Games (That are NOT Sierra or LucasArts!) - Part 1 - Duration: 22:42.

Hey everyone, PushingUpRoses here and today I will be discussing retro adventure games

that were not developed by Sierra or LucasArts because sometimes really good titles get overshadowed

by continual nostalgia and popularity of those companies.

Now, there's a reason Sierra and LucasArts are more well known than others; they have

stand out, memorable games.

And this is not up for debate.

They do.

In fact the reason I was inspired to create this video is because I was originally composing

one on my all time favorite adventure games, and the majority of them were by these companies,

and I thought, you know what?

There are so many adventure games out there, let's make it non Sierra and LucasArts this

time.

I chose interesting titles.

So when I recommend games I don't always do it based on how "good" they are, but

rather how appealing I found them, or if they had elements that stuck with me for a long

time like outstanding graphics or a memorable narrative.

Take that as you will, because I am sure some people out there will be saying "Eww that

isn't even a good game why did you put this on here?"

Because it's my goddamn list, that's why.

I think we all have an idea on what the creme de la creme titles in the adventure game community

are, so I feel like I don't need to bring up every popular non sierra and lucasarts

game; you can assume that I enjoy things like Broken Sword and The Kyrandia series.

They aren't ranked in any particular order.

...I mean they ARE listed from my least favorite to most favorite, but yanno other than that.

Number eleven, Black Dahlia

When I was young, I wanted to be a detective, so it should not come as a surprise to anyone

who has followed me even for a little while that I have quite the appetite for murder

mystery games.

The Black Dahlia, developed by Take-Two Interactive, is very very very loosely based on the unsolved

murder of Elizabeth Short, also known as The Black Dahlia.

This is one of my favorite live acted FMV games because the performances are actually

good, and it doesn't have that cheese factor you so commonly get when live actors are involved.

Why yes, that IS Dennis Hopper you see on your screen.

I've come to like a lot of live acted games, but commonly in a "so bad it's good"

kind of way.

I wanted to find a more serious FMV game with a better story and acting that wasn't as

cringe worthy, and I think I found it with this game.

It's suspenseful and thrilling, and there aren't many things played up for laughs,

and even the pre-rendered backgrounds don't look as fake as ones from other FMV games.

*Coughphasntamsogoriacough.* Set in the 1940s, you play as rookie Agent Jim Pearson, whose

first case is to look into some fascist propaganda.

As you go around finding Clues, this game goes from pretty basic detective stuff to

really bizarre supernatural stuff.

You uncover evidence that suggests that Nazis are involved with the occult, and might be

connected to ritualistic killings.

Elizabeth Short IS a character in this game, but the Black Dahlia refers to a gem that

is sought after by Hitler because it possesses incredible power.

When the stone goes missing sometime later, Jim finds himself immersed in this world of

cover ups, murder, and some fucked up shit.

Out of all the live acted games I've played, this one successfully expresses drama and

scenery in an artsy, more serious way, and some of it legitimately came across as dark

and tense.

It's a dark story, and the game manages to be pretty consistent in terms of tone;

no tonal whiplash to be had.

Even the story, which obviously takes a very fictional twist, doesn't jar you too much;

it's a nice build.

I think the only downfall lies in the puzzle design; I am not sure why so many adventure

games leaned on annoying logic puzzles and random ones where you're just...putting

shapes together.

FMV games are especially guilty of this, and The Black Dahlia is chalk full of puzzles

akin to those.

They vary in difficulty, but I could do without.

Regardless, I did like the investigation process in this game, I liked uncovering all of this

creepy evidence, and I love the more fantastical scenes.

People always ask me to recommend a live acted that game that is quote "actually good",

and I always go back to this one.

I don't want to say it's completely without trite elements, but it's not as much trite

or cheesy as it is honoring old noir stories, with the dramatic PI monologuing to himself

dramatically as he reflects on the case.

It vaguely resembles Gabriel Knight II: The Beast Within, which is also live acted and

has an emphasis on mystery, investigation, and the supernatural, but that game had its

corny moments and inconsistent acting.

They also have questionable puzzle design in common, but The Black Dahlia manages to

have a more pressing plot and I think the acting is worthier of praise.

If you liked The Beast Within, you would also enjoy this game.

Even though I found certain parts frustrating or slow, it's worth playing.

It's not as well known, and that is probably because it's really not available anywhere,

so it doesn't get much advertisement as other FMV games put on GOG or Steam, but I

hope it does become more accessible soon because I think this is one of the best live acted

games ever made, and just in general, a high quality adventure game.

Number ten, Toonstruck

This game is just...weird.

Think Who Framed Roger Rabbit mixed with the crassness and similar plot of Cool World and

you have Toonstruck.

It stars Christopher Lloyd as a down on his luck animator named Drew Blanc.

That pun name never fails to make me mentally groan.

He created this wildly successful children's show called The Fluffy Fluffy Bun Bun Show,

and has been growing tired of the syrupy sweet nature of his star character.

Late one night after failing to design even more saccharine bunnies, he falls asleep,

and wakes up the next morning to see his show playing on the TV.

He is inexplicably sucked into the screen and into the fictional world of Cutopia, then

learns from his own characters that a new, evil cartoon named Count Nefarious, voiced

by tim curry, is trying to turn all everything cute and pleasant into something evil and

macabre.

I'm not sure I see the problem here, but Cutopia's bubbly inhabitants don't care

for it, so Drew and his sidekick, Flux Wildly go on an adventure to save Cutopia.

It sounds like a tired premise; in fact there are some parts that seem identical to Cool

World, but it does have its own thing going on.

Honestly, this is what Cool World SHOULD have been, and I'm applying this statement to

both the game and the movie.

Lloyd's acting is great, though a little over-the-top and I love how his live action

sequences are set against this 2D world.

It works surprisingly well, Lloyd seems to fit right in with the artwork and animations.

I wouldn't call it completely seamless but it did exceed my expectations, especially

after playing more lackluster titles like Harvester.

The voice acting is also great since the cast consists of mostly professional voice actors,

including Tim Curry as the game's villain.

The humor is on the adult side, complete with the cartoon characters swearing and making

sex jokes.

So this is not something I'd recommend you play with your kids, even though Cutopia is

in fact, adorable.

This is literally the cutest thing I've ever seen in my life.

It makes me feel fucking sick just looking at it.

The world is stunning, the characters all have great dialogue, and their movements and

animations are top tier.

I feel like I am just in some kind of interactive cartoon; in fact I always feel a little disconnected

when the art style is 2D like this, and it's also pretty heavy on the cutscenes so it feels

more like an animated feature than a game, but it definitely is, complete with inventory

object puzzle design.

That aspect could honestly use some help, but this is a unique title and I don't really

mind grabbing hints for it because the prominent part of this game is not actually the gameplay,

it's the story, the characters, and the visual design.

I found Toonstruck so fascinating that I choose it to be the very first adventure game I reviewed

for YouTube after I had come back from a hiatus.

If you want something just a little bit different from the norm, something a little off-kilter

and you also happen to like slapstick cartoons, then give this one a shot.

I really don't think you'll be disappointed.

Number nine, Eric the Unready

This game, developed by Legend Ent, is an amusing hybrid of text and graphical adventure,

and is loved by seasoned adventure gamers (and I am using the word seasoned because

they are all very salty).

I think the games of Legend Entertainment sometimes get overlooked; but they shouldn't

be.

They had a really interesting approach to design and narrative.

Their first games were called Spellcasting, and...well.

Let's just say I didn't warm up to these games or their humor style.

Felt like a pornographic Harry Potter.

More like Harry HOTTER amrite?

This game uses an interactive fiction interface; you can type in commands, or you can use some

premade ones on the side.

the settings, from the perspective of the player, are in a window in the top right.

When you talk to a character, a new dialogue screen pops up, and in between we have little

cut scenes that tell the story.

The story itself is rather weak, at least the main idea is: it's your very basic fantasy

damsel in distress fairy tale, with you, Eric, having to save a princess despite being bumbling

and incompetent.

Even though it uses cliched tropes, I think it does it in a comedic, satirical way that

pokes fun at itself, and the themes it presents as you progress.

It's a parody game that knows it's a parody.

I think comedy games are hard to write, but parody games even more so, because not only

do they need to need to be good parodies, but they ALSO need to be good games, with

working mechanics and character development.

It's obviously taking a lot from other fantasy stories past, and the pop culture references

are a-plenty, but even though Eric the Unready is littered with homages, it holds on to its

own story and manages to have a personality.

Remember Fable?

I discussed that game a few months back.

It's supposed to be a parody game.

Heh, supposedly, but it just feels bland and mean spirited, and it's not its OWN game.

There's more to comedy than just simple ridicule, believe it or not.

I think Space Quest does parody pretty well, as you can tell which sources its taken from,

it's never malicious, and it has its own character and settings that make the game

different.

I think Eric the Unready is like that; it's one of those elusive successful parodies.

It's a lot of reading, as you can see, but I personally found the writing to be so entertaining

that I didn't get tired of it.

It reminded me of other things that conflate comedy and fantasy, like Monty Python and

the Holy Grail, or a Terry Pratchett novel, while the gameplay itself reminded me of an

older Zork title.

I don't think it's as unmerciful as some of those classic infocom games. The puzzles

are tricky, but the game is broken up into these contained sections where you have to

complete certain quests before moving on.

This at least prevents the player from having to backtrack too and cuts down on any confusion

from too many active puzzles.

This won't be everyone's cup of tea, but it's easy to play on modern machines since

it was recently added to GOG, so why not.

Why not go down an outhouse toilet save an adorable pig from an evil spell.

That's what I always say.

Live your life.

Number eight, The Last Express

Full Disclosure: I played this game because I enjoy murder mystery, and have a fondness

for Murder on the Orient express.

My opinion on this game may be biased because of how much I dig the premise.

The Last Express was designed by Jordan Mechner, who previously designed the Prince of Persia

games.

There are a lot of neat aspects to this game; most notably is the art design which was meant

to mimic the art nouveau style that was popular at the time the game's story was set in,

1914 before the outbreak of World War I. Live actors were rotoscoped and the result looks...weeeeeird.

I'm not even sure it works, quite frankly, but it's very interesting to look at and

process visually.

You know something ain't quite right with this character, it's cartoony, yet walking

naturally, like a real person.

It's eerie.

It's not always smooth, either; a lot of the animations are faded cuts, but you do

warm to it as you unravel the story.

You play as a fugitive named Robert Cath, who is suspected in the murder of an authority

figure.

Your friend, Tyler Whitney, sent a telegram asking you to meet him on the Orient Express.

All right, I've illegally hopped this train so let's go into Whitney's room and what

the FUCK Tyler???

There aren't many puzzles, but the puzzles that do exist in this game involve dumping

a dead body out of the train's window and watching bounce along the ground.

This reminds me of an episode of Murder, She Wrote, where there is a slightly dramatic

murder scene that establishes the rest of the episode and everyone's like..

A LITTLE sad, but seconds later no one gives a shit and it's like "All right time to

find the murderer."

The animations remind me of those bizarre wikihow illustrations.

Step 1.

Discover the corpse of your dead friend.

Step 2.

Have a moment of mild grief.

Step 3.

Pick up corpse.

Step 4: Throw that shit out the window.

This isn't your problem, you didn't ask for this.

You take Tyler's vest and pretend to be him the rest of the journey and end up getting

tangled in a web of politics, lies, and romance.

The game is non-linear and has real time events; and this is crucial to how you play the because

you can easily miss important interactions and conversations.

It's similar to The Colonel's Bequest in the way that there aren't many inventory

object puzzles; the idea of the game is to listen to conversations and figure out everyone's

motives.

It's not completely devoid of puzzles, you do have to find certain objects to push things

along, but the emphasis is on eavesdropping.

There are also some action sequences.

Well.

...I...I guess you could call it action.

This game didn't do too well when it was released, and I can kind of see why; people

didn't quite warm up to the non linear game mechanic and real time events, I admit that

even I felt slightly overwhelmed and concerned about missing information or having to go

through tedious stints of trial and error, but it does get very fun and I think this

game is essential for any murder mystery lover.

There is also a rewind mechanic if you do feel like you missed something, which is so

very Jordan Mechner.

I really couldn't put this down when I covered it for a review years ago; I was impressed

by how elegant the train setting looked, and how closely it resembled the original Orient

Express.

This makes sense because the designers based it on an old wooden car they had found abandoned

in a trainyard in Athens.

I wouldn't put this up there with the classics, but it's a noteworthy game that did a lot

of cool things, and I think the amount of work and creativity that went into this project

should be commended.

Number seven, Return of the Phantom

Did you know Microprose had an adventure game division for a short period of time?

Well, now you do.

Return of the Phantom is a point-n-click based on The Phantom of The Opera.

I'm pretty sure I didn't have to explain that seeing as though Phantom stuff is extremely

popular, but you never know.

And now, another childhood memory with pushinguproses!

When I was young, the hip place to be was at my Aunt's house, playing her awesome

computer.

We went over there for Easter Sunday, and having no interest in Easter, I went to the

basement to use the computer.

I discovered the CD for Return of the Phantom on her desk, and was intrigued by the fact

that it was an adventure game, I booted it up and started playing it.

Unfortunately, I was scared of everything as a kid.

I got to this part of the game where you see a shadowy figure following us, and turned

it off immediately.

I then ran upstairs and stuffed my face with chocolate marshmallow eggs to quell the trauma.

This has been another childhood story with PushingUpRoses!

Eventually I got past my fear of shadowy figures and picked the game back up.

In this loosely adapted Phantom story, you play a detective named Raoul, and your job

is to investigate an incident at the Paris Opera house: The chandelier fell during one

of the shows, somehow not killing anyone.

But it almost did, so we're here to figure out if this was an accident.

After doing some brief looking around and interrogation, we decide that it was indeed,

a ghost.

When a murder happens, we try to find this so called opera ghost, but instead he finds

us and tackles us off a catwalk.

We are then sent back in time, when the opera ghost previously terrorized the opera house,

and it's our job to change things in the past to fix things in the future.

So the premise is not canon, but it IS full of familiar characters like Christine and

Madame Giry.

This is a very short point and click, and it's a little hokey, but I think it's

great fun, and on top of that the game looks stunning; everything from the animations which

are smooth and expressive, to the different settings.

Now, the voice acting?

It's...not...good.

It sounds like everyone recorded their lines in a tin can, and Christine's voice is particularly

grating, but this is a fun game.

I really love replaying this one from time to time.

It is far from perfect, but I think the story they created oddly fits the original Phantom

story.

Obviously you're not going to find time travel anywhere, but somehow, the original

story combined with this weird as shit time travel narrative worked well for me.

I think this game is especially fun if you're a Phantom fan.

It doesn't make such egregious mistakes that dedicated fans would dismiss it, and

it plays well and looks amazing, so I it would also work for non fans who just want a fun

adventure game.

Remember when I discussed cheesiness just a couple minutes ago in The Black Dahlia?

Cheesy may not have been the right one for that one, but it IS the right word for Return

of the Phantom.

It's the kind of cheese you want, though.

It's not the crappy off-brand american cheese slices, like the ones that aren't even Kraft,

the ones that are just grocery store brand, it's not that.

It's more like a nice provolone.

I really cannot get enough of that line, who says that?

Number six, Titanic: Adventure out of Time

Have you ever wanted to feel like you were on the Titanic, just...living out the experience

of being on a sinking ship?

Well now you can with Titanic: Adventure out of Time!

Imagine having the constant threat of death on your mind as you travel through this massive

ship solving mysteries and finding ancient books for people.

I found this game on a school computer; I was having a rough patch in high school and

was kicked out for...well, for not going, basically, and sent to an alternative school,

and the workload was fairly easy for me so when I finished, my teacher allowed me to

use the classroom's computer.

I was shocked to see an adventure game on the desktop, I had never heard of it, and

I was baffled that anyone would want to make a game about being on the Titanic.

Spoilers: The ship sinks.

This is not a game where you are saving the Titanic or changing the events of what led

up to that point; the use of the Titanic is mostly for having an amazing setting that

very closely resembles the original ship, and then later on for setting a time limit

when the ship starts to go down.

What you're actually doing in the game is figuring out mysteries, mingling with dangerous

criminal types, and occasionally helping people.

You play as a former Secret Service Agent Frank Carlson, he is currently living in a

dilapidated flat in London after he failed to carry out missions he was given while on

the Titanic.

During a raid, his flat is bombed, and he is sent back in time to then carry out those

previously failed missions; so there IS time travel, it just has nothing to do with saving

the Titanic, and more to do with politically motivated crimes.

One of the missions is to find a stolen copy of the Rubaiyat, which was actually on the

Titanic in real life; unfortunately that copy was not recovered and remains somewhere at

the bottom of the ocean.

I think the most memorable thing about this game, beyond the RIDICULOUSLY huge ship you

have to navigate, are the facial expressions.

This was done by taking still shots of the actors and just overlaying them on the characters

faces - this is NOT an FMV game, even though I am sure some screen caps of the game might

be deceiving, there wasn't any video taken as the developers had to design MANY characters,

and video would take up too much space.

It may look silly at first, but I am rather fond of it and think it's a great alternative;

some of these characters get quite boisterous, and that's when this method really works.

The production for this game was long, with two years of research alone; a lot of thought

went into the recreation of the ship and making the game as historically accurate as possible,

and I think the final product really shows that.

It's actually very similar to The Last Express, in terms of both having very intricate plots

and utilizing that timed element.

I like Titanic Adventure Out of Time just a smidge more, because I have memories attached

to it, and I just can't get over smethell's eyebrow.

That is a strong brow.

How to get your Bird to eat Veggies or Fruits - Duration: 4:33.

Some Random Ideas to get your Bird to eat veggies or fruits

Know the basics of bird food.

Be aware these techniques work best with a friendly, hand-tame bird who thinks you are

a good rolemodel, not some terrible birdie-eating monster.

The see-it's-not-poison-approach.

Eat fruits and veggies in front of the bird.

Show it how tasty the stuff is (even if it isn't).

Keep doing this until the bird looks curious, if not green with envy.

The green paper approach.

Stick leafy veggies like romaine lettuce in the cage bars (or stand some on the cage).

If your bird likes to chew holes in paper, then it might just mistake it for green paper.

By the way, romaine lettuce is, I believe, seven times more nutritious than iceberg,

and seems to be preferred by birds.

The fake green seeds approach.

Put broccoli heads out where the bird can nibble on it (or offer some in your fingers).

Broccoli heads, in particular, tend to look like a collection of green seeds

The finger-food technique.

Offer bits of veggies in your fingers.

Or, if you can do it without getting yucky human saliva on it, have one end of the food

in your mouth and the other by your bird's beak, thereby proving to your paranoid bird

that it's not poisonous The play-thing approach.

Make veggies look interesting.

Maybe use a knife to make a thick piece thin enough for a small beak (a big chunk of carrot

would be the equivalent of giving a child a beachball-sized carrot and expecting culinary

enjoyment), and give it interesting projections and things that could tempt a birdie to nibble

on it and generally treat it like a toy.

Maybe some of it will wind up in the bird.

Feed other foods, too, like plain spaghetti, bread, boiled egg (eggs should be boiled 15+

minutes, they say), and low-fat crackers.

Though not veggies, encouraging your bird to be adventurous with other foods will encourage

it to be adventurous with crisp green and orange things, too.

Tempt with toys ... while most of these techniques work best with tame birds, this is something

that you can done with untamed budgies.

Very tightly tied small bundles of dried grass together and dangled them in their cage.

After a few days of comical fear and avoidance the budgies learned to chew and rip apart

the grass.

The boring approach.

You can do the standard way of adding veggies to the bird's food bowl diligently for weeks

on end, too.

But try the other methods as well.

They're more fun and probably more productive.

Teaching birds to eat veggies can be tedious, but a lot of fun as well.

Projects like this tend to stretch human creativity.

And be prepared for a lot of food waste with birds; they often don't eat things cleanly

or completely.

9 Personality Types That Are Changing The World (For The Better or Worse) - Duration: 5:58.

9 Personality Types That Are Changing The World (For The Better or Worse)

All the nine personality types have different responsibilities for changing the world and

developing the human soul.

This type of personality makes mankind very special, not only in their interactions with

one another, but within themselves.

Synchronicity ties them all together in a beautiful system that makes everything work.

No human is represented by only one personality type, but a mixture of several types.

However, in every person who is meant to change the world, there is one of these nine most

dominant personality types.

Every piece of the puzzle, each with its flaws, is an integral part of the spiritual evolution

of humanity.

Everything changes and changes so fast and each of these segments plays an important

role in human consciousness.

So, here are the 9 most important personality types that change the world.

Find out which one you are:

#1 - The Initiator

Regardless of the initiative, these are the doers of our world.

Being the number of 'new' in which all manifestation begins, they symbolize the principle

of beginning or initiation through purity of purpose.

It is the energy that begins all actions and leads the way in new directions.

Without them, we would have a lot of trouble getting things done because when nobody else

wants to do it, they step up and get it done with courage, originality and decisiveness.

#2 - The Healer

Since the Initiators often drive themselves into physical illness through their constant

drive to keep moving forward, the healers are necessary to help bring balance back to

their physical health.

It is a feminine energy that dominates the healer, but many men exhibit very strong healing

energies.

They symbolize the principle of coming together with another, positive and negative, male

and female, day and night, black and white, yin and yang.

They unite like-minds, and like-ideals.

#3 - The Catalyst

The Catalysts of the world have the unique gift of changing people and circumstances

with consistency and creativity at all times.

They are the meditators of the planet who allow others to tap into their energy.

It is a vibrational state that is very stable throughout human consciousness and not necessarily

of the stereotypical meditator with closed eyes in lotus position.

The meditators may be one who can achieve the same energy while dancing, painting, crafting

or using any artistry skill that enables them to achieve the vibration.

#4 - The Protector

Before there was technology of any kind there was Gaia.

Most modern day humans have lost this connection.

Many "Protectors" are not aware they are light workers, but they do know they are connected

to Gaia consciousness.

They are the tree huggers, environmentalists, gardeners, animal whisperers, and all lovers

of nature.

Some ignore their own dietary requirements for energy and instead sacrifice those needs

for their truth and love of Gaia.

They love the Earth and Mother Nature for all she is and what she provides, and that

passion never leaves them for the rest of their lives.

#5 - The Game Changer

Game changers have the greatest number of old souls out of all personality types.

They anchor all others and are extremely independent in mind and soul.

They are multi-talented and with many interests.

They are attractive, independent, free-thinking, fast moving, and potentially foot-loose.

They are often very sexual beings.

They are resenting restrictions and responsibilities while carrying instabilities and unpredictability.

6 - The Nurturer

The Nurturer represents harmony, balance, sincerity, love, and truth.

They are considered the most "harmonious" of all personality types.

Creating an environment of peace and harmony is always the strongest impulse.

#7 - The Explorer

They resonate with the vibrations and energies of the 'Collective Consciousness', faith

and spirituality.

They deal with esoteric and scholarly aspects of reality.

Focused on activation of imagination and manifesting results in our lives through the use of conscious

thought and awareness.

#8 - The Equalizer

Probably the most misunderstood of all personality types.

When the Karmic equalizer comes knocking, you can be sure that you will reap what you

sow.

They are practical, realistic and intelligent.

They exhibit vibrations of personal authority and strength, confidence, executive capacity,

inner strength, professionalism, management, material freedom, success, good judgment,

and money.

They know the difference between self-confidence and the real spiritual realization.

They are more comfortable in the material world, the real facts, and will be truly amazing

as soon as they develop their spiritual connection and natural intuition.

#9 - The Finalizer

Associated with universal love, eternity and belief and high frequency of vibration.

They have wisdom and responsibility, and Finalizer's ultimate goal is to serve mankind.

They deal with intellectual power, creativity, influence over situations and things.

They make us recognize our own internal attributes, and extend this capability to the world to

make a positive and influential difference.

Well, at least those are about the 9 personality types that are changing the world.

RUSSIA or SAUDI ARABIA - Which Country is Better? | 2018 World Cup - Duration: 6:36.

What's happening everybody my name is Leroy Kenton and welcome back to another episode of FTD facts in this episode

We're comparing the countries of Russia and Saudi Arabia

Now these two countries are gonna be going head-to-head in the 2018 FIFA World Cup so we decided to do a side-by-side comparison

of the countries on a whole

But at the same time we're gonna be including some information about their FIFA stats in this episode

So enjoy and let me know which country

Do you think is better starting off with the Russia so the Russian?

Federation is a host country of the 2018 FIFA World Cup

And it's the largest country in the world covering more than one ninth of the Earth's land area

Russia is one of the few countries with a negative growth rate however

And it's currently the ninth most populous country in the planet and this is despite

it being the largest by land area now Russia has a total population of

143 point nine six million people and that brings its population density to eight point four two people per square

Kilometers and has a total land area of 17 million 98 thousand two hundred and forty two square kilometers

Alright, so that was Russia's introduction now

I want to introduce the country of Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia is a thirteenth largest country in the world and the second largest in the Arab world

It's a birthplace of Islam

Which is one of the largest religions in the world and it's also sometimes referred to as the land of the Two Holy Mosques

This is because the two holiest mosque in Islam are both located in Mecca Saudi

Arabia of course Saudi Arabia is famous for being an oil-rich country and today Saudi Arabia is looking to diversify

Its economy and reduce its dependency on oil as part of its 2030 vision Saudi Arabia has a total population

Of thirty three point three seven million people and it's population density is fifteen point six one people per square

Kilometers it has a total land area of two million one hundred ninety four thousand six hundred and ninety square

Kilometers now as I mentioned these two countries are going head-to-head in the 2018 FIFA World Cup

So let's look at some of their FIFA stats just a little bit of them

We have Russia right so they have made it to the World Cup ten times

But Russia is still yet to win a World Cup championship and now their FIFA ranking is at 65th

Position and going in the 2018 World Cup their star player is Igor Akinfeev

Now Saudi Arabia has only made it to the World Cup only four times

And they haven't won any World Cup titles either

Now Saudi Arabia's FIFA ranking is pretty similar to Russia's ranking

they sit at the 63rd position Saudi Arabia is proud to have their star player as

Muhammad al salam now. I want to dive into the money in the

Economy of these countries so starting off with russia in russia. They used a russian roubo and one Russian ruble equals

0.01 eight US dollars in Saudi Arabia

Their currency is a Saudi real and one Saudi real is zero point two seven US dollars

for Russia Russia is a

16 the largest export economy in the entire world and they have a total GDP of one point two eight three

trillion dollars now their GDP per capita

Sits at eight thousand seven hundred and forty eight point three six dollars Russia's total exports according to the latest numbers are

283 billion dollars and his top exports include crude petroleum

refined petroleum and coal briquettes

now their

Imports sit at a hundred and eighty billion dollars and their top imports are packaged medicaments cars as well as other heating

machinery now moving on to Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia is a twenty fifth largest export economy in the world and the 67 the most complex economy according to the economic complexity

Index or the ECI for short the GDP in Saudi Arabia is six hundred forty six billion dollars

And it has a GDP per capita of fifty three point five three thousand dollars

Saudi Arabia's total exports equal to one hundred and eighty two billion dollars and its top exports are crude petroleum

Refined petroleum as well as ethylene polymers star Arabia's total imports are a little less at

167 billion dollars and his top three imports are cars

Gold as well as broadcasting equipment

Okay, so now like gada compare the cost of living between these two countries which countries more expensive

Which country is cheaper?

I want to know and I'm sure you guys want to know as well so when you look at the cost of living in Russia

compared to Saudi Arabia

The food is 12% cheaper in Russia housing is four percent more expensive

Clothing is 15 percent more expensive

However transportation is 26 percent less in Russia than Saudi Arabia and personal care is 12% less in Russia now

Entertainment in Russia is way more expensive

141 percent more expensive so when we add up the average of

Everything Russia is 18% more expensive than Saudi Arabia and the final stats

I want to look at is the national debt and the debt per citizen of these two countries Russia's national

Debt is 195 billion dollars u.s.. And his debt per citizen is

1339 dollars now Saudi Arabia's national debt sits at 84 billion dollars u.s.. And his debt per citizen is

2617 and interesting to note that Saudi Arabia's national debt has ballooned during the past two years because of lower oil prices

Alright, everybody, so you know what to do. Let me know down in the comment section below which country

Do you think is better Russia or Saudi Arabia you guys decide let me know down below?

And also you can let me know too

Which team do you want to see when in the World Cup Russia or Saudi Arabia you can leave your comments down there as well?

I do have some video recommendations at the end of this episode so stay tuned for the end screen

We got a lot more which is better episodes. We do side-by-side

Comparisons of more countries as well as we have dedicated videos strictly about the World Cup

So if you're fans of FIFA World Cup you want to check those out as well until next time guys

I'm lyric kenton, and I'll see you real soon later

Alright guys if for everybody that stuck around here these videos that I talked about where you can watch more which is better

Episodes and just fill your mind with more knowledge and information about the different countries and see how they match up against each other

Or if you just want more World Cup, and you just love learning about that

We've got videos for that as well, so don't forget to come back here every single day for more FTD facts episodes

Thank you guys for being so awesome. I'll see you in another video

The HOUSE or the BOAT? - Sailing Luckyfish - Duration: 23:48.

So Cat, you come from where?

Oh Lunenburg Nova Scotia Canada

so you've got a history of obviously a long nautical history in that part of the world and

Oh my God yeah, it's a Unesco world heritage site it goes back to the 1600s

be a lot of a lot of ropemaker's but also a lot of smithing going on and there's still a

lot of knot knotters around

what do you call them? Knotters?

theres lots of knotty people in Lunenburg

Nutty knotters

There you go. That was dinner. That was lovely.

so here we are in Georgetown and we've just finished

What did we finish?

Fish Cakes

Caught by Zaya

And we didnt film any of it but thats whats left

It was pretty good.

Obviously we couldnt stand the sight of it so we had to eat it

That was fish 2 of 3 which was caught in a 2 day period.

Unbelievable

We caught 4 but we let one go

We were luckyfishing in the Bahamas

you are beautifully lit there Cat

with the LED lights

Is it like a halo?

yeah

My angel

Its like theres a shaft of light

what I was thinking about today when we were gonna do the interview attached to James

I really had to do some soul-searching

it's like a romantic idea to leave the land and go sail the seas

and do all this kind of stuff but what you're leaving behind is big

because everything that you did all of your life to become who you are today is

formed by all that stuff that you are actually leaving behind so you have to

redesign yourself to be able to fit on to this plane right

on the ocean

and one of the things that I was concerned about was, wait a minute I'm an artist I'm a

jewelry maker I'm a diner owner I do all these things and that's who I am

so who do I become now this is getting real it's the other side right so one of

my biggest concerns was how do I maintain who I am and be on a boat which

is basically my living room size without the walls right and there's no running

water you can't put your hands under the water at the same time you have to pump

and then pump you you know it's like there's so many different things and the

boat never stops moving so there's all these like little idiosyncrasies about

living on a boat that people might not think about.

James, a foot pump will finish that

Yeah, yeah. So you could put a foot pump in

Mr FixIt right here!

Thats a good solution because alot of people forget that

ZAYA: Not just that. There's many others!

[LAUGHTER]

These are things that people dont think of, right?

Your food choices have to change because now you have to eat dried or canned or caught

or you know whatever so your whole persona

sure you give up a lot

but I understand that what you're gaining is may not be better but it's different

it's more simple and unless you get on the land you don't actually get like to

walk very far as everything is short distances so one of the other things I

was concerned about is staying fit right like so what can you do I can bring my

yoga mat I can you know get on shore and walk that you know as long as you get

off the boat once in a while and do that kind of stuff and then the other thing too is

like I said I do acrylic and watercolor and jewelry making mmm so now I have to

redesign that whole thing instead of canvases on frames I can get canvas

roll-ups right and cut them to size and all that stuff so there's gonna be a lot

of mm-hmm a lot of alterations in my life

so but like we did today we made jewelry you know I do jewelry,

its all doable as long as I thought I was gonna be bored out of my mind right so

but when I would disappear downstairs I wasn't always sleeping I was processing

right I just needed to get away from you guys in the boat and just process

everything sure so in the in the big picture I think it's very doable but you

can't go in with a romantic idea of boating and you know and sailing away into the sunset

It comes at a cost

And that is not often talked about but in order to chase

your dream you do have to give up stuff you know yeah

how can this be a dream if I have to sacrifice you know exactly and that's but you also have to

redesign your priorities so yeah I'd like totally redesign your priorities in

life like stuff I know and then you know what I I hear it all the time and I know

that you're getting rid of stuff but me being my zodiac sign is cancer I'm all

about home yeah it's all about everything has an emotional attachment

to it so for me to leave my home my safe spot my only spot in life where it's

mine and I feel secure and stepping on to a

raft yeah, seriously, with a beautiful, what ever this is called?

Pod, canopy, tent !

I know.. that is huge. I'm vulnerable to

the earth I'm vulnerable to the world I'm vulnerable to the elements like I

can't just hide it somewhere and feel safe now now I have to find a different

safety net right so this is like huge it's a huge emotional journey and I'm

willing to make the journey but I'm fighting it a little bit along the way

trying to find little

replacements right.

I grew up on the water I grew up with motor boats I grew up sleeping on the

dock because I wanted to be near the water when my grandpa couldn't find me

in the morning it's sleeping in my bed he would walk

down to the dock and there I was sleeping with my pillow and my blanket

in the bottom of the little aluminum fishing boat so I've always wanted to be

on the water and live on the water it's just that I lost sight of it through all

those years of raising kids and you know business all that kind of stuff so this

to me is like a dream come true in a way my childhood dream yeah exactly yeah but

I didn't realize the steps that I would need to mature into in order to get to

this spot and James has helped me with his patience and dreams like he always

throws his dreams out there and this is what I'm gonna do this is gonna happen

and so I kind of got caught up in that for a little while

and then I started to reject it too right because I didn't want to leave the

land I didn't want to leave all my secure situations and friends I have to leave

all my friends behind so what happens when somebody dies so I'm very close to

but I can't be there so these are all the emotional journeys in my head right

now that I'm trying to deal with and then there's my kids but what if

something happens to my kids

Yes, major, major shift

Huge, huge.

So, it's pretty big

but, being on the boat this week

Can I ask the question

apart from obviously an affection for James, what is it within you

you that makes you want to take this leap

well I've always been a love, peace and granola bar girl

a little bit hippie a little bit Skippy

but I'm I've traveled all around the world and like I've taught English in

Peru mm-hmm Oh every state so many countries I've been to

but it's all on land and yet my being a zodiac cancer I'm all about

water so link was the water so my thing is I

would love to see all these these countries from from a different travel

perspective right so the thing I was talking with James to earlier is that

sure it's great to be on a boat but I don't just want to see what the water

looks like in these countries I want to see what the country is right so you

just have to remember to get off the boat once in a while go meet the people

cuz I'm a people person and I don't know it's just yeah it's just traveling on

water but the option to step on lands and the other glory of this thing yes

today yes you can choose whether you know you're gonna be with other people

yeah on land you just surrounded by people all the time sometimes we just

get a little bit we need our space right here so this is great you get to have

your space yeah and choose but you also can't escape each other you're all on the same damn raft

Well I guess you can take that to the next level and say

when you are a couple there is still that conflict and

so as long as each one respects the other person's needs and I just need a half an hour by myself yeah

without your face

Night watch

Night watch [Laughter]

Oh no, maybe more than that

Your hull, my hull

maybe double watch

you cant lose your individuality simply because you have no choice except be with this person on this raft

but the other thing too I was concerned about with this whole boat

thing is recycling because I really would like to live in harm ony with, you know

Waste

No. I want to live in harmony with nature yeah yeah so so I've been

going through Zaya's book on how to live on a boat and all that stuff, what do you do how do you reduce the stuff that you have to

recycle or you know throwing food overboard, that's totally acceptable yeah what do

you do with the other stuff right

it's all about buying bulk taking your containers with you to the store to have

them fill them up you know all that kind of stuff so that's one of my major goals

will be to how to reduce as much as possible you know so so what you bring

on the boat the less you have to worry about getting rid of I think that's that's

part of where it starts yeah for some land reduce your waste like we've been

here and what? one bag of garbage in a week for the board's yeah yeah that's true as

a matter of fact you know if I'm too bad in the waste department but it still should be separated

and it still should be recycled, but good luck with that.

Thats a function of what's available in the country you go to

It's pretty dire actually. The lack of..

When we were sitting in Nassau, just as an example. Every morning we'd see the cruise ships. And then the tour boats

come and visit them for the day trips to go out to dolphin island or

wherever and then 30 minutes after the tour boats had zoomed up the channel,

all the polystyrene cups would come floating back past the

boat and you think come on like with all the money pouring into Nassau, surely

you can just,

Did you pick up some?

Well, no. We were on anchor honey. We are not going to go chasing polystyrene cups around Nassau Harbour.

And your right. They've gotta have a bigger picture.

And there we are talking about celebrities spending $25,000

a night staying in the room and you're watching polystyrene cups drifting down...

every day.

Crazy. Yeah. There is something wrong.

right you can see all the garbage there. Its atrocious. And that's small

compared to some beaches around the world. Its ridiculous.

I think it's very young one yeah probably because there's no much meat in

But you got plenty of milk right? Yeah.

All the electrolytes from coconut milk. Wow. Totally hydrating

Cats a nutritionist

So we are learning all about the benefits of coconut milk coconut oil

I think she is going to build a coconut raft

I am.

And go sailing.

Just don't eat your raft.

But its the letting go thing. It stops a lot of people

yeah they're stuck in a rut in there and people go in there those are the people

go that's crazy or weird because they can't see that's for the big picture to

leave some room in the anchorage's that's right yeah exactly

you know but Catherine and I mentioned this idea she's the only

person I think identify it right away she said I you know I see and I guess

she's the only god that's my dream to you and I go yeah, really? cool.

I found the right girl finally.

Yeah. Its great when you find someone equally delusional. [LAUGHTER]

She had to get some things sorted out, so I took a step back, I can wait for that,

heres this chance. Let's go and look at this to see

So, so, can I turn this back on Cat now?

You've heard James, you've suffered, James and I, particularly, talking about this boat for a week

and it's a big step because James has brought you not on to have just a

sailing boat for the first time in the Bahamas sailing for the first time this

environment living on the hook for a week

yeah you know none of the amenities yep you know she's a pretty spartan boat

can you see yourself on it?

Well. When I first saw a cat in the Halifax Harbour

I was like look at all that plastic because I'm all about wood I had a

wooden boat right and it was all about it oh my god I hate plastic I don't buy

plastic utensils I don't buy anything plastic so my whole brain went I don't

think so no way I'm not going to contribute to this plastic world right

and I was a monohull person it's just who I am

so when I

Who you were, you were, you were

We haven't had any Mal de Mer, we haven't had any rock'n'roll downwind.

come on you gotta be becoming a Cat convert as well ?

But, and I really wasn't convinced at all about a cat at all regardless of the style

They are simply not as pretty as monohulls from an artists point of view, lets face it

yeah, there's definitely nothing romantic about a catamaran. All the beautiful sailing pictures are of monos right yeah so when I

came down here I was a little bit cold inside because I didn't know what to

expect but the more that we travelled this week on the cat it was like yeah

okay I can see for long-distance travel and all around the world all that kind

of stuff the balance of the boat the setup of the boat the unique simplicity

right but you've got everything you need but it's very simple

mm-hmm is simply presented and it's simply organized so and just you know

being able to get into like little shallower areas close to the beach and

everything that was like yes I've been won over as far as this is what the

dream is to be on the water sailing for great distances so for this instance I

think it's the best choice ever. And then the thing that won me over completely to

the Wharram thing is that this is wood it's painted wood but it's wood yeah

sure so I feel better about that it feels more earthy because it is made out

of wood yeah and you can do more alterations to whatever you want so yeah

I see a lot of good qualities about this and this is after, I wouldn't have got to

this choice as quickly as James did just cuz I'm a die-hard wood person and mono

But, like I said now being on here I can see I can see the benefit of this style of boat

plus this layout of the boat is pretty amazing

You wait until you get to work on one.

then you get to work with wood that's right

you know and it's actually another with you with you working with your hands yes

wooden all the maintenance and the bugbear, there's actually an upside to that

really satisfying you know because you have a project can you fix it and you

look at it and you go hey I did that and it works and you know I don't have to do it

again for another five or six years, or ten years or whatever.

But I've enjoyed the whole trip um but like I said I came in not with completely open-minded

I had preconceived desires in my head and not all of those were met just

because I was stuck in the mono hull right?, but I can definitely see that I've been

swayed, educatedly, over to a cat and over to this particular style of craft

Wow. Thats awesome to hear that.

because you and Zaya have been busy while we've been doing the sailing so you've

been creating these little bits of craft work yeah while we've been preoccupied

car yeah well the one thing about doing this is that even though I have a diner

and I saw my stuff in my diner yeah I can now give up the diner but not give

up the craft because I can send my completed works to another business in

Lunenburg but even that even if that wasn't going to be the case just to

maintain a part of that need to create which is what I do in the diner right

create food and create jewelry I create paintings that create everything I need

to create right so this will be a really good outlet and you know you can train

it on the islands you can do whatever the creative outlet I think we all crave

whether we realize it or not, whether we've found what our outlet is

yeah that's awesome that you can take your talent and bring it onto a boat its

transportable yeah and it's also really linked to the whole lifestyle like

scrimshaw right? like the old guys, the crews on the whaleboats, they used to get whatever material they had, they had whalebone right?

know these these a sharp the end of their knife to carve like very ornate

pictures in pieces of whale bone and stuff so why is that not possible in this situation

as a handcraft, which is a wonderful thing to buy yeah that's actually been made by a person you've met

and feel like you know

right. well look when we went to

the island the other day right I wanted something made by somebody on

the island it was a $5 little tiny you know yeah bracelet but it was like I'm

so proud of that because I met the person who made it. It's hand done not

some machine and you know North America it was so ...

Well that's brilliant what a good

wrap up and thank you very much to both of you for what's been a wonderful week.

It has been a great week.

It's been a two-way street this week we've learned a lot

from you and hopefully, well it sounds like you're gonna take away a bit

from this experience I brought my notebook.

excited to hear what happens next in the next chapter of SV 'X'

yeah whatever it might be. But it's been a very emotional week for me I've kept

it away from you guys

but sometimes I go down there and cry.

Yes. That's like me. I keep it away from everybody.

I'm always balling in my cabin I can tell you.

Look, now the clouds behind all have a silver lining.

That's too pretty.

[bell clangs gently nearby]

and what are these shackles for dare I ask?

I make bracelets, and I use the shackles as the

and then I do it like port in the starboard

In case you are lost

I love that , that knot thats beautiful. Yeah, the Bluenose II was built and lives there

One of the most famous sailing ships of all time.

Yeah, its on our dime

And fairly quick too.

Why is it a world, UNESCO,

For the architecture of the city. Its a great little town actually.

So, why am I leaving it?

Because the winters are pretty miserable.

well it's good you guys got a magic background

coming from the part of the world you do

Yeah, its pretty cool

It's no surprise to find you in the Bahamas mind you, at this time of the year

March.

I love sailing and I love Nova Scotia and I love traditional boats but I'm getting a little tired of winter

This is a much better option.

So, that is the finished product. One keychain. You did that in less than 30 minutes 15 feet of twine. And it

floats. Handmade. And in Nova Scotia that would retail for?

I sell them in my diner for $20

And in the Bahamas? a couple of fish ...

There you go.

Or a dry coconut.

I tell you what. A bloody dried coconut. 30 minutes for dry coconut that would be a bargain!
