Youtube daily but Dec 27 2018

Kepa Arrizabalaga  Got away with one towards the beginning of the match, playing a loose pass to Gerard Deulofeu, who couldn't take his opportiunity

A nice smother to deny Abdoulaye Doucoure, but couldn't do much about the Watford equaliser

Had very little to do in the second half as Watford rarely threatened at all to challenge the Chelsea goal

6   Cesar Azpilicueta  Played in one wonderful ball in the first half that Eden Hazard should have buried

Defensively solid and really gave the Watford front line very little to work with

Second half he didn't get forward quite as much as he looked to contain Roberto Pereyra, which he did well

8   Antonio Rudiger  Had a really tough night against Troy Deeney who won almost every header in the first half against the German

A really poor header that led to the Pereyra goal in the first half.  More solid in the second half and won the battles better against the front man, who continued to make himself a nuisance

6     David Luiz  Deulofeu tried to get past him a couple of times but he did well to hold him up

However, question marks over his defending from the corner that allowed Pereyra to finish

Big shouts for a penalty against him in the second half, which he could have been lucky to get away with

6   Marcos Alonso  Still looked to be struggling for form in the first half, not really providing much in the way of going forward and some defensive mistakes as well with the Hornets getting behind him

It was much of the same in second half as the Hornets managed to get behind him and a lot of their attacks came down that side

4   Jorginho  Deulofeu was tasked with trying to cut the midfielder off and it worked for large periods of the first half, with the Brazilian struggling to make an impact

Made a very important block to deny Troy Deeney in the first half.  The second Chelsea goal was all down to him and it's something Chelsea fans want to see more

A lovely little ball over the top to Hazard for him to win the penalty. If he can do that more often then the Blues will be very happy

7     N'Golo Kante  Worked very hard once again, but still it was that quality in the final third that let him down

A couple of poor balls played from him, after some stunning runs that he made.  Should have scored in the second half when played through by Hazard and only having Ben Foster to beat, but he pulled the shot wide

6   Mateo Kovacic  A lovely ball through to Hazard for the opening goal, having picked it up in midfield and then sending the Belgian away

Good defensively a lot of time as well.  Looked to have a bit more confidence on the ball as well, moving forward when he could instead of side to side

7   Willian  A poor first half, with some bad balls going forward and not really having an effect in the match at all on the left, which is an important role for the Blues

However, he came into the game a lot more in the second, grazing the outside of the post with a decent effort and trying to be more dynamic with his running

7     Pedro  Looked bright in the early running, firing just wide when he cut in from he right

However, hobbled off with a suspected hamstring injury in the 43rd minute. 5   Eden Hazard  Struggled to get in the game early on and then missed a golden chance when he tried to flick the ball in from close range

But he finally got his 100th Chelsea goal with a cool finish in first-half injury time

Then when Chelsea needed a saviour he was there again. Winning the penalty and netting it himself

Leading the line as well he could and another important night. 9 Substitutes   Callum Hudson-Odoi (on for Pedro 43')  Didn't quite make the impact he would have wanted, but very harsh to be substituted off in the second half

6  Ross Barkley (on for Kovacic 80')  Solid in his positioning and trying to help see out the game

5  Emerson Palmieri (on for Hudson-Odoi 85')  Didn't really influence the match. 5   Keep up to date with the latest news, features and exclusives from football

Liverpool fans enjoy 4-0 win but LOVE something else even more - Duration: 1:18.

The Premier League title race took a big shift on Boxing Day.  Liverpool ruthlessly put Newcastle to the sword 4-0 at Anfield but Manchester City, who were their closest rivals, were beaten away at Leicester and then Tottenham Hotspur won 5-0 against Bournemouth to change the make-up at the top of the table

Those results meant the Reds moved six points clear ahead of second-place Spurs and seven in front of Pep Guardiola's men who sit in third

It also saw Jurgen Klopp's side totally negate the goal difference that City had opened up ahead of them with both sides now holding a positive difference of 36

Reds supporters were absolutely buzzing as they watched this afternoon unfold and you can see some of the best reactions from Twitter below

IT'S OUT! Hillary & Bill NEVER WANT THIS VIDEO PUBLIC! BUT Tucker WANTS Everyone TO KNOW(VIDEO)!!! - Duration: 14:00.

IT'S OUT! Hillary & Bill NEVER WANT THIS VIDEO PUBLIC! BUT Tucker WANTS Everyone TO KNOW

25 years ago this month exactly Bill and Hillary Clinton took

control of the Democratic Party and they basically run it with a few

exceptions ever since it's been a long time a recent college graduate that's

your entire life that's how long the Clintons have been in control a quarter

century and four decades they've held control because they and their acolytes

have ruthlessly stamped out numerous charges of sexual harassment and assault

brought against Bill Clinton suddenly out of nowhere that's no longer working

for them the society-wide backlash against sexual

harassment by powerful producers actors and politicians has finally turned and

bit the Clintons themselves just yesterday

Democratic senator Kirsten Gillibrand she's the one who filled Hillary

Clinton's New York Senate seat when Hillary left it to become Secretary of

State said that Bill Clinton should have resigned during the Monica Lewinsky

scandal in response Gillibrand was blasted by Hillary Clinton's longtime

spokesman flee brains he tweeted this over 20 years you took the Clintons

endorsements money and seat hypocrite but senator Gillibrand is not alone in

turning on the Clintons liberal blogger Matt Iglesias who's defended them for

years who works in Fox he now says the president should have resigned back then

at an event in Miami former DNC chair Donna Brazile also very close to the

Clintons says that Bill Clinton's accusers deserve to be heard where's

this coming from what does it mean other than the end of the Clinton era finally

and completely Chris Hahn is an attorney he spent years working for Senator Chuck

Schumer of New York a longtime Clinton ally and he joins us tonight Chris

thanks for joining us anytime Tucker thanks for having me I'm not

gonna pile on the Clintons actually I'm gonna say something that I didn't think

I would ever say I agree with Philippe rains in this case I think that senator

Gillibrand is basically trading the Clintons like the cleanse traded women

and she used them and now she's discarding them and I think it is

contemptible wouldn't you agree no I look I mean she's got a good

opinion and I think it's a good voice that needs to be heard

and let's face it Tucker I think that opinions on some of the things that

happened in the 90s have evolved dramatically in this country

particularly in the last you know 10 months or so and I think that there's a

people looking back on what happened not just with Bill Clinton but Anita Hill

and and Justice Thomas with a whole new light and they are looking at if I were

much younger you might be able to pull that over on me because I'd be like

really people didn't worry about rape in the 1990s but I was there actually and

Justice Thomas was never accused of any physical contact of any kind he's

accused of saying sexual things to Anita Hill we can debate whether he did or not

but I never accused of assault in any way Bill Clinton was credibly accused of

forcible violent rape by a woman who was not a political opponent she was a

Democrat and she told a bunch of people about it at the time and she was

attacked by fellow Democrats dismissed by the press and made to feel that she'd

done something wrong that was wrong then and it's wrong now and what I find in

fire is all these people attacked her then and now they're like oh well you

know standards that she's know Rick's always been will it's always been bad

I agree Tucker I mean there you're not getting a argument me you know and you

look back on it now and and and there's a lot of disgust when you look back on

that both on you know both from people on the left and the right and the way

things were done towards women who came forward with allegations and I think the

initial instinct that is happening now for women to be believed until they're

not is probably the right way to go and I think we're gonna see more of that and

I think it's empowering for women and I think that we're gonna see less sexual

harassment in the workplace and we're gonna see women move farther up the

chain because I think having more women in power is going to stop this all

together and I think that's a great thing for America let's totally reach

that's the first job that's nonsense social science doesn't back you up and

there been Studies on this and if they don't say what you say they say but

moreover Hillary Clinton just ran for president a year ago she's married to

the guy riot of rape and she attacked the what she did attacked the women who

accused him of sex crimes and she didn't do in the 90s she did it last year while

running for president and she's still denying it

so she wanted the most look job in America and she's attacking the women so

how does your theory work exactly Tucker you know on the Clintons I love them I

think that they I think bill was a great president I think she would have been a

great president they are no longer going to be the leaders of the Democratic

Party that is very very clear at every point in about a year and a half we'll

pick a new nominee to run for president and he or she will be the leader of the

Democratic Party going forward until they're not president or until they lose

the president and the conversation now I look I agree with you and actually I

would love to have a longer conversation about which wing in the party is

ascendant at this point but I can't I just we need to write I don't want to do

a week of sex stories about the Clintons because they're off the stage I agree

with you I hope this is the last one we never dare gone look I agree with you

but Michelle Goldberg if the New York Times is not gone she has a column there

she's totally fraudulent but fraudulent feminist she's running this quote

because of Broderick's allegations Bill Clinton no longer has a place in decent

society now we can say Bill Clinton's off the stage Michelle Goldberg's not

off the stage she still has a platform and people listen to her and take her

seriously where was she a year ago these allegations are 20 years old why should

we let Michelle Goldberg this verse sets feminists off the hook for just now

recognizing rape is wrong like why should I forgive her for not pretty you

know I've seen Michelle Goldberg I don't think she was writing a column for The

New York Times in 1996 she was defensive very constant a year ago I read her

stuff she's too fit for every okay yuck but look Tucker you're gonna hold

Hillary Clinton responsible for our husband's crimes that's ridiculous

no I'm not I'm not actually and by the way Goldberg because like every just

some word exactly why because Michelle Goldberg and lots of other people on the

Left thought it was more important than that they have power then that some

woman get justice okay fine but you can't pretend to be a feminist

simultaneously which is what people like Michelle Goldberg and it's not just her

it's it's the entire feminist establishment that covered up for less

crimes because they wanted him in office and I just think they should be held

accountable for that not the Clintons they're different

like I said I think there's been a major evolution in this country and I think

that's a good thing and I think things are gonna change and we're not gonna be

seeing these things covered up and swept under the law so that's of last year's

fairly good for the current president people didn't think rape was a big deal

last year during the campaign I thought Democrats were the party of women so but

you're telling me they didn't take it seriously last year talker the person

who was accused of rape was not running for president last year his wife she was

never she was never accused of rape she believed her husband that was no crime

doctor I believe she didn't leave her husband for a second and you that don't

insult my intelligence she attacked women who accused him I was there I

covered this in 1998 and she led the charge against Monica Lewinsky who did

nothing wrong she was a good kid and mrs. Clinton is the one who said she's a

stalker in a nut case and don't believe her

she did that yeah wasn't just by eating her husband I think look Tucker I think

Monica Lewinsky is owed an apology by a lot of people yeah myself included and I

think everybody I think everybody on the left and the right who attacked that

woman and painted her with a scarlet letter when she was just a 20-something

I cross star eyed person I feel that there's nobody in in my lifetime who I

feel was treated worse than her politically I think that's something

that needs to the FBI ought to apologize to her

also they sweated her they threatened her she didn't do anything wrong I mean

she did some you know she's a kitchen an intern but I agree there are many people

respond to organizing that woman's life but Hillary Clinton is one of them my

only point is when it was politically expedient all these fake feminists

defended Hillary Clinton and now that she's off the stage like oh I could

unburden myself just kidding he's guilty well look look I don't I don't think

they're fake feminists Tucker I think they were compiled compartmentalizing

some of their feelings on different things I know a lot of women I know a

lot of women I know a lot of women who do not like Bill Clinton to this day and

are very critical of Bill Clinton because of the Monica Lewinsky scandal

oh because there's the other things brought up against them and these are

liberal women I hope that we have closed the book on

the clintons and we'll see you back here on another topic I think I think we have

thanks man well the Clintons face relentless

attacks rooms in their own party Hillary Clinton is still questioning legitimacy

of her defeat last year and wouldn't she accused Trump of not accepting his loss

she said you're gonna lose it not accept it well she lost it as an exception

amazingly in an interview with Mother Jones magazine Clinton repeated her

claim that the Russians robbed her of the presidency this time someone says

you Alex Jones is crazy it's a conspiracy nut

okay nuttier than that Michael Graham is radio shows he joins us tonight that's

not in the script I couldn't control myself

Michael Graham look I said I wasn't gonna belabor the Clinton point but we

are tonight celebrating the end of 20 years of Clinton control the Democratic

Party think it's worth celebrating and I know Democrats are celebrating along

with us but don't you think it's fair to have a reckoning not just with the

Clintons themselves who are now off the stage but with their defenders who are

still in power like Kirsten Gillibrand who defended them until yesterday what

is that look I don't want to bother the Clintons I'm not interested in them

anymore I'm at a glace who had Vox admitted now that the Clintons are done

we can go back and consider what Bill Clinton now that the politics we now

that we've squeezed every ounce of partisanship out of them let's move on

Zack it's all about the defenders what did Kristin Gillibrand know about Bill

Clinton yesterday that she didn't know in 2011 when they were holding hands on

stage cheering Aurora rowing to get her elected what did any of these liberals

know today that they didn't know then you know tuck her back in the day I

wrote a book that you were very nice to say so nice things about called Clinton

and me how eight years of hands-free president changed my nation my family in

my life and everything we're talking about today the fat parts in addition to

the cheap jokes we're all in that but we all knew it we all know why the phrase

hooks to the left about Bill Clinton ari Paula Jones isn't about his golf swing

we all know what kiss it means we all know why you don't mention cigars when

you're hanging out with Bill Clinton and reminiscing about the Oval Office this

is all stuff people have known for 17 years and now they're suddenly ream

inted clinton virgins going hey wait a minute

think you might have done something naughty yeah I don't think that we

should let people get away with that I mean while it's the same people who are

always lecturing the rest of us from this moral perch as feminist defenders

of women when in fact they don't speak for women any more than you know any

other self-appointed spokesman speaks for any other group he's not elected to

run these people have no actual authority and now we know they have no

moral authority so why are we listening to them well I agree with you but it's

even got beyond the not doing the right thing in calling people out they joined

in the attacks a good point that you made in that previous interview which is

why I like having you on my podcast you make good points Tucker is that the

Hillary Clinton actually said we must destroy her about one of the women that

was a victim of Bill Clinton she called Monica Lewinsky narcissistic loony toons

they had a think about imagine if judge Roy Moore right now had a group of

people called the quote bimbo eruptions team to handle his accusers Hillary

Clinton had won and she's a hero of feminism it's the people who defended

that it's Hillary for defending her husband that's to me the most

interesting part not the fact that Bill Clinton's a CAD that is very old news

yeah it's old news and it's not that uncommon but to attack the people who

came forward especially the ones who say there was violence involved as bimbos

I'm hardly a feminist but I love women I mean I I was actually offended by that I

don't know if they're telling the truth but they didn't seem to have any motive

to lie and to call them bimbos when there was no evidence they were sleazy

people like that so does totally over-the-top come on Tucker everybody

knew bill did it come on when he was standing there with everybody knew that

of course he had sex with that woman had probably several others in the room if

you asked around I mean but everybody he couldn't just said I'm not you know

life's complicated I'm not talking about it and I think a lot of you had gone

with that but instead they got a team of lawyers and flax to attack the

women that always bought you why do you need to attack the women why don't you

just say you're not going to talk about it it was cruel and they never got the

credit for that that they deserved in my opinion no I agree and now what's

happening is that defenders of Donald Trump and defenders of Roy Moore are

looking at these feminists so-called and journalists so-called and saying why

should we care more about how these guys treated women than you as feminists

cared about how Bill Clinton treated women and it's a very hard argument to

answer it sure is Michael thank you great to see you my pleasure great to

see you too thank you god bless you and God bless america

-------------------------------------------

Facebook is the worst, but it can still be controlled - Duration: 5:29.

- Facebook is everywhere, whether we like it or not.

It's how we invite our friends to parties,

how we talk to relatives, what we do on our phones,

while we're waiting for the microwave to finish.

But even though we use it all the time,

it's kinda terrible.

It makes you feel bad.

And you feel even worse when you realize

how much data you're giving off for targeted ads,

and political campaigns.

- We didn't take a broad enough view of our responsibility,

and that was a big mistake.

And it was my mistake, and I'm sorry.

- Facebook's done so much creepy stuff,

that it's hard to trust them now.

And even if you delete your account,

it's hard to get away from the company entirely.

It's complicated.

And if you want to know why that is,

you gotta look at the big picture.

(rhythmic tonal music)

In theory, there's a way to deal with companies

that do things we don't like.

Companies have competitors, and if one of those competitors

is doing something better, then either the first company

changes, or it gets replaced.

That's the market.

But, Facebook doesn't seem worried about that,

and you can see why.

Facebook has no real competition.

If you don't like Uber, you can take a Lyft.

But, if you don't like Facebook,

you kinda have to quit social media entirely.

Facebook is the one place you can count on finding

nearly all the people you know.

The other networks just aren't as big.

About 180 million people use Snapchat each month,

and that number's actually going down.

Twitter's bigger, with 330 million users,

but in 2018, Facebook cleared 2.3 billion users,

and it made 13 billion dollars in revenue off them,

at a time when its competitors are right on the edge

of profitability.

The only networks that come close are Instagram

and WhatsApp, both of which are owned by Facebook.

That doesn't mean Twitter and the other runners up

are doomed, but it's hard to see any of them

getting to be size of Facebook.

Once you have a social network that big,

you don't really need another one.

The term for this is a natural monopoly.

And that's when entering a business is so hard,

that a single winner ends up dominating the industry.

The classic example is the cable business.

It's really expensive to lay cable to a building,

but it's pretty cheap to operate, once the cable's in place.

If you've already run cable to all the houses in a city,

it's gonna be hard for anyone else to compete on price.

They'd have to run a whole new set of cables,

there's just no way to justify that expense.

And since the cost of laying cable encourages

a single big provider, you can't expect competition

to solve problems, like high prices

or bad business practices.

It's hard to be sure if social networks

are a natural monopoly.

They've only been around for 10 years,

and they're still changing a lot.

Unlike cable, it's not actually that expensive

to start a social network, it's just hard

to get everyone on board.

The barrier to entry is more about users than money.

But, after seeing a dozen different competitors

try and fail to rival Facebook's size,

there's a growing consensus that market competition

just isn't gonna keep the company in check.

- The problem is Facebook.

That's the problem.

And that Facebook has broken so much trust

to allow you to simply gobble up every form of competition

is probably not in the public interest.

The simplest form of regulation would be

to break Facebook up, or treat it as a utility.

We've dealt with natural monopolies before.

When Bell Telephone started rolling out the first

consumer phone service in the 1880s,

people were faced with the same problem.

Once there's a network of phone lines in place,

there's no real reason to start a second one.

Bell drove a particularly hard bargain

around the expensive long distance phone lines.

If you didn't buy their local service,

you couldn't use the long distance service, either.

It was the kiss of death to competitors.

And so aggressive that the government decided to step in.

The Department of Justice actually sued the Bell System

as a monopoly, and won a string of settlements

and consent decrees.

The first one was in 1913, and the regulations

just got tighter from there.

In 1934, 1956,

1974, and 1982, until the company was finally broken up

into a bunch of regional companies in the 1980s.

Then those companies were consolidated

into the heavily regulated telecoms we know today.

Not everything that regulators did worked,

but for the last hundred years, for better or worse,

the federal government has been the main force

keeping phone companies honest.

It's hard to say what that kind of antitrust case

would look like for social networks.

For the last 40 years, the standard test for monopolies

is that they raise prices.

But Facebook is free, like everything else on the Internet.

The damage isn't in higher prices, but market power.

Whether that's driving up the cost

of reaching your followers, or shaping

the entire marketplace to suit its needs.

The sheer size of Facebook means it can muscle in

to other areas, like messaging or photo sharing,

or buy out competitors like WhatsApp and Instagram.

As long as it's impossible to compete,

Facebook can keep expanding and expanding

until it takes up the entire Internet.

And, unless we find some way to keep the social network

in check, that's exactly what it's gonna do.

- [Enquirer] If I buy a Ford, and it doesn't work well,

and I don't like it, I can buy a Chevy.

If I'm upset with Facebook, what's the equivalent product

that I can go sign up for?

- Well, there's the second category

that I was gonna talk about or--

- [Enquirer] I'm not talking about categories,

I'm talking about, is there real competition you face?

Liverpool news: Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez makes HUGE title claim but slams Mo Salah goal - Duration: 2:54.

Liverpool are seven points clear at the top after their win and Manchester City's defeat by Leicester

However, Jurgen Klopp's side's win was marred by a controversial penalty that put them 2-0 in front

Mohamed Salah went down easily under the challenge of Paul Dummett and was accused of diving before picking himself up to score from 12 yards

Dejan Lovren had earlier opened the scoring, while Xherdan Shaqiri and Fabinho scored after Salah's penalty

**PREDICT FIVE RESULTS AND WIN £25,000 - FREE TO PLAY HERE** But Benitez thinks the result could have been completely different if the spot-kick had not been given

"These kind of games you have to play with intensity, if not it is impossible," he said after the match

"That was the idea and you can analyse things after but at half-time it was right

"So, that is the difference between the teams and the way that things were going on with the second goal, it changed everything

" The former Reds boss was also pressed on whether his old side can now go on and win the league

"I think they showed they are good enough to win the title, yes," he added. "I said before the game they have a very good team, a very good squad and have good players on the bench

"If you want to win a league title you have to be consistent and they can do it." Liverpool have shown remarkable consistency so far and are only the fourth team in Premier League history to be unbeaten halfway through a season

They have conceded only seven goals all season and are six points ahead of second-placed Tottenham and Manchester City are a further one behind in third

Klopp's team host Arsenal on Saturday before heading to City on January 3.

Chelsea starting team confirmed: Blues unchanged but Hudson-Odoi on bench - Duration: 1:56.

Chelsea are looking to maintain their place in the Champions League spots as they take on Watford at Vicarage Road tonight and also trying to end a bad spell of results

The Blues are going through something of a poor run of form under Maurizio Sarri, with three defeats in their last six Premier League matches, meaning they are starting to slip behind the leading pack

Liverpool are now 14 points ahead of Sarri's side after their win over Newcastle United, while Tottenham Hotspur are now eight points ahead of the Blues after they smashed Bournemouth 5-0 earlier in the day at Wembley

Sarri has bemoaned a lack of mentality from his Chelsea side in recent weeks, and once again flagged it up in the defeat to Leicester City at the weekend

Here is the side he has chose to try to get back to winning ways.  Chelsea: Kepa, Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Luiz, Alonso, Jorginho, Kante, Kovacic, Willian, Pedro, Hazard

Subs: Caballero, Cahill, Emerson, Fabregas, Barkley, Hudson-Odoi, Giroud.  Keep up to date with the latest news, features and exclusives from football
