Youtube daily is it Dec 29 2017

Yeah hey guys Dr. Ray Marquez here local chiropractor at Back Pain Relief Center

we're here with my buddy Miguel jujitsu instructor over at Shark Tank here in Vineland and Miguel jacked his low back up rollin so we're gonna

fix him up and typically when you get an injury in jujitsu it's because someone

compressed your back and I think that's what happened with him so we're just

going to decompress up with so the muscles up and see if it helps.

Alright so I'm gonna loosen these muscles up first I'm gonna bend your leg Miguel

and I got pressure under my thumb here that's gonna kind of just loosen these

muscles up when these things happen these muscles will tighten or spasm or

get trigger points in them in order to stop you from moving it.

A lot of people will come home and they'll put heat on their back because the muscles

are so tight when in reality they don't have a muscle problem they got a disc or

nerve problem so I want you guys to use ice not heat.

Again we're just gonna loosen this side up I'm moving his leg in and out because that helps me to

loosen the muscles a little more

Next I'm gonna use this instrument just to vibrate the joints loosen them up

break up a scar tissue that may be forming around the joints from the

injury. Why it's real important to get in to see me right when it happens because

immediately following an injury your body start building up scar tissue in the joints.

We're gonna check his leg legs his right legs about an inch shorter just cuz

the pelvis has rotated and dropped a bit.

This drop table allows me to push the pelvis back a little easier than doing it manually.

Loosen up this muscle a little more blood to the surface make it run easier for the adjustment.

Look all my jujitsu guys out there you guys hurt easy can you come in and

see me I'll keep you on the mat as long as you can.

Okay so manipulating the lower back to decompress it.

Got it uh? Yes.

Alright yeah that takes a lot of pressure off

that low back unloads a joint allows for better range of motion then I'll help

with this pain I hope you like the video we'll see you guys next time

Space Is Dangerous! Just Look at What It Does to Astronauts' Brains… - Duration: 2:52.

Spaceflight does a number on our bodies — we lose muscle mass and density, fluids shift

in strange ways, there's even evidence that radiation exposure in space increases risk

of developing Alzheimer's disease.

And now new research has revealed that long-term missions expand brain tissue with some scary

results.

I'm never going to get to go to Mars.

In all the research done on how spaceflight affects the body, there's been fairly little

done on the brain, specifically brain tissue and the cerebrospinal fluid space.

But that's not because astronauts don't show signs of some kind of brain changes when

they return from a stint on the International Space Station.

Many exhibit symptoms of an ill-understood condition called "visual impairment intracranial

pressure" syndrome (VIIP) — they report poorer vision upon landing that can last for

years, and physicals show some of the cause is swelling of the eye's optic disk as well

as increased pressure in the skull.

So, a team of set out to study these changes before they happen.

They used MRIs to look at astronauts' brains before and after long and short duration missions

— 165 days on average for long and 13 days on average short flights.

Physicians then read the scans looking for displacement of brain tissue and narrowing

of cerebrospinal fluid spaces — that's the space where the spinal fluid roots in

the brain.

One point of interest was the central sulcus, a cleft running through the middle of the

brain that divides the areas responsible for motor control and sensory input.

They found the central sulcus narrowed in almost all cases of long duration missions

but very few on short flights.

Also after long missions, scans showed an upward shift of the brain tissue against the

top of the skull as well as a narrowing in the space for the spinal fluid.

In the short term comparisons, only one astronaut showed narrowing in the space for the spinal

fluid in the brain.

It's not entirely surprising that something like this happens.

Our bodies are adapted for the gravity field on Earth, and when you take that away our

systems keep working with some odd effects.

But all this might sound worse than it is…This is a classic case of "more research is needed."

For the moment scientists aren't sure what this narrowing means, whether or not it actually

has an impact on the flow of spinal fluid or puts more pressure on brain tissue.

It's one of many studies NASA is conducting about how space affects the brain, including

impacts on motor control and multi-tasking abilities.

If we're going to send astronauts to Mars, we're going to need to make sure they get

there with healthy brains.

For more science in your day, be sure to subscribe to Seeker, and if you want to know what another

big space danger -- radiation -- does, Amy's got the answer right here.

And speaking of heads in space, Apollo astronauts saw flashes in their eyeballs!

They were cosmic rays. That's so cool.

Again, Thanks for watching.

Nestlé Is Stealing Our Drinking Water At Staggering Rates: It's All About Big Money - Duration: 5:11.

A two-year investigation indicates Nestle has rights to about eight and a half million

gallons a year of water, but on average from 1947 to 2015, the company has been collecting

roughly 60 million gallons of water a year.

The report says a significant portion of the water currently diverted by Nestle appears

to be diverted without a valid basis of rights.

In a statement, Nestle said it was pleased the report reaffirms that it holds valid rights

to a quote "significant amount of water."

The spokesperson continued in this statement, saying, "We will continue to operate lawfully,

according to these existing rights, and will comply fully with the California law."

Nestle was given 60 days to submit to an interim compliance plan.

The company is also being encouraged to cut back on its water withdrawals.

This, unless it can show valid rights to its current sources.

Nestle has contended that it inherited rights dating back to more than a century to collect

water from the San Bernardino Mountains.

Opponents filing complaints argue Nestle lacked proper permits, and that the water usage could

harm the local environments, as well as its surrounding wildlife.

This also opens the door for more arguments surrounding the water collection in other

national forests throughout the state, from here to Mt. Shasta, especially since California

is now in its fourth straight year of being in a drought.

In Los Angeles, Natasha Sweatte, RT.

All right.

For more on this, let's go now to host of America's Lawyer, Mike Papantonio.

All right, Mike.

What recourse might the state of California and the water board have available to them

against Nestle?

They have a massive lawsuit.

Listen, Nestle's a company that could best be described as a resource extraction business.

No different than any other business that, say, pollutes a river, or pollutes air.

Those are public commons, and people that are affected by that certainly can articulate

a lawsuit, where they say, "Look, you've taken all this from us.

You've affected our tax base.

You've done many things in a chain of events that should enable us to take you to court."

Understand, you will not have the regulators do anything that's meaningful to Nestle.

Most people probably associate Nestle with the chocolate chip cookies, but for decades,

they've been working to privatize water systems around the globe.

This is a great example.

What's happening right now in California is that someone finally had enough sense to look

at the permits that Nestle has to extract water from San Bernardino National Forest,

and the state water board found that the company was bottling and selling more than 60 million

gallons of water a year, when their permit only allows for eight and a half million gallons.

Here's the point.

The government won't do anything about it.

This has been going on since 1947.

Nestle has a huge political influence there.

It's going to have to be a citizens kind of lawsuit, but I can think of a thousand different

ways to articulate that lawsuit.

Hopefully somebody will do that out in California, but rather than giving the company a massive

fine, there needs to be more punishment.

This is stealing water from one of the most drought-damaged areas in the United States,

and it's nothing but thievery, is what it is.

Pap, as you've said for the citizens to cause a fuss over this, is there sufficient evidence

or sufficient damage, given that the state has been in a drought for so many years?

Is there enough here for Californians to bring, say, a class action lawsuit?

It doesn't have to be a class action.

It could be a farmer that can somehow establish that this draw down from the water supply

affected his ability to conduct business on his ranch.

It can be any number of variations of that.

Somebody out there needs to be creative enough to go after those clients, to bring a lawsuit,

to stop this, because you got to understand.

Government won't do anything.

Regulators, Jerry Brown, will not do a thing about this because the money that's pumped

in from this company to so many political races.

Just look, just a few years ago, the President of Nestle was on record saying that water

is not actually a basic human right, so therefore his company should be able to extract water

resources from any area of the world and sell it back to locals.

That's the mentality they have, and until you take their money away, and until somebody

articulates a criminal act against them, then this is going to continue.

Real-

Just by the defense industry, Nestle always seems to be ready to capitalize on tragedy.

Real briefly, Pap, will Nestle continue to pump the water then, given that there hasn't

been any source of a cease and desist letter issued?

Oh.

They will get ... They will do this till the last minute.

Look, Flint, Michigan.

They've gone up to Flint, Michigan.

Nestle announced that they're going to increase their water extraction in Michigan, further

starving residents of clean water.

This is a corrupt company.

That's the problem.

We have to treat it like that.

All right.

Thanks so much.

From America's Lawyer, Mike Papantonio.

Lab Created Meat Is The Future It's Healthier And Cheaper - Duration: 2:42.

Lab-Created Meat Is The Future - It's Healthier And Cheaper

The concept of lab-grown meat isnt new, and several companies are hoping to perfect

the process.

Memphis Meats is developing a way to create meat without slaughtering animals, Tyson Foods

has launched a venture capital fund investing in the future of meatless meat, and Mosa Meat

hopes to serve the first lab-made burger in just five years.

But the challenge isnt necessarily creating the best looking and tasting meatless alternative

its pulling down the cost of production so that consumers will see it as a viable

alternative to the real thing.

In 2013, it cost around $325,000 to engineer a five-ounce in vitro hamburger constructed

from pieces of beef muscle tissue all grown in a lab.

Now, with advances in the industry steadily pushing this field forward, the price has

been whittled down to just $11.36 thats 30,000 times less than when it was first introduced.

This makes lab-grown meat just three or four times more expensive than traditional ground

beef, so if the biggest barrier to getting engineered meat to market is cost, then it

looks like were well on our way.

Assuming the most ideal growing environment, stem cells can produce a lot of meat.

A single turkey cell could theoretically be used to produce enough muscle to manufacture

20 trillion turkey nuggets.

Given the growing demand for food worldwide, something like this has the potential to address

pressing concerns about the industrial food system.

Switching to in vitro meat will also have major environmental benefits.

Today, the industrial food systems objective is to meet the growing demand for food by

raising livestock on a small amount of land and producing meat at a very affordable price.

This has led to mass production livestock farms that emit massive amounts of greenhouse

gases.

Growing meat in labs could reduce this by 90 percent and lower land use by 99 percent.

The World's First Clean Meatball

Looks like lab-grown meat is full of benefits, so now we just need to make it economically

viable and convince people to take that first bite

of a lab-grown burger.

It's All About the U: Miami's Turnover Chain is Positive Reinforcement at its Finest - Duration: 2:45.

- [Announcer] Looks to throw on first down, delivers

High, intercepted!

Malik Young, looking for a block.

Spun down inside the 10,

as the turnover chain will make its second appearance tonight.

- This college football season showed

that the U is back and that the Hurricanes

have psychology to thank.

The University of Miami's turnover chain

is college football's latest and greatest trend.

After every turnover, Miami players are crowned

with a flashy chain that injects

South Beach style and excitement into games.

As big of a sensation as the turnover chain is,

from a psychological perspective,

it's also the ultimate form of positive reinforcement.

Which makes sense, considering that the Hurricanes

have caused 30 turnovers this season,

the second-most in college football,

and other teams have tried copying the chain.

Positive reinforcement is a type of operant conditioning,

a learning process where behaviors

are either rewarded or punished.

"Carrots" are desirable stimuli

and "sticks" are undesirable stimuli.

Manipulating them can increase or decrease

a behavior's frequency.

Effective operant conditioning

is timely, generalizable and welcomed.

Immediate reinforcements and gratification

can be much more effective than when they are delayed.

Timely reinforcements and punishments

are well-associated and specific

so there's no question over

what the consequence is rewarding or punishing.

The turnover chain is a step up

from the normal helmet stickers used in college football.

While nice gestures, they're not that exciting

and are pretty removed from the situation.

The turnover chain however comes out

in the heat of the moment and provides

immediate reinforcement,

taking advantage of the game's excitement

and the players' desire for an immediate reward

alongside their teammates.

The success of a reinforcer or punishment

is measured by its ability to stimulate

other related, desirable behavior.

Although one specific behavior

brings out the turnover chain,

the power of the chain is the energy that it reinforces.

It gets the entire team involved after a big play

and rewards hustle and intensity,

which can be modeled for the rest of the defense

as well as other players on offense

and special teams to play aggressively.

Competitive social reinforcers like others' approval

can diminish the power of carrots and sticks

if they conflict with each other.

If members of the team didn't approve of the chain,

players would be conflicted between gaining others' approval

and adopting the team's organizational culture.

Positive work environments and effective reward systems

are contingent on how members buy in.

Rewards, in any workplace setting,

from the gridiron to the office,

should be given timely,

encourage other positive behaviors,

and fit team members' preferences.

yeah it's gonna get hard what's the reason that people quit

what's the reason that people stop doing it it's because it gets hard it's cuz it

is hard the people that quit are the people that want it easy

why because quitting is so much easier than it is moving forward on something

that everyone opposes you are something that everyone says you're not gonna do

it's so much easier to say yeah you was right I can't do it I can't succeed I'm

gonna quit and maybe next time we'll be better but I'm here to tell you right

now that next time will be exactly the same way it is right now if you don't

change that mentality if you don't change the way you're looking at things

Why Is My Wage Garnishment Continuing After Bankruptcy? - Duration: 2:02.

This is great.

We file bankruptcy to stop a wage garnishment but it's still going on after I filed the

bankruptcy.

Is something wrong?

My name is Ron Drescher.

I'm an attorney practicing bankruptcy and creditor's rights in Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania,

and Virginia, and unfortunately human resources, payroll departments, and creditors they don't

move as quickly as we want them to move after you file the bankruptcy.

So sometimes if there's a wage garnishment in place and the payroll company or the payroll

department has it set up to withdraw that amount from your paycheck every time you get

paid it might take one, two, or three, or maybe even four although I don't usually see

that long pay periods before they fix it and get it right.

That's the bad news.

The good news is every penny of that money that has been paid over to creditors or withheld

from your check can be recovered as an unauthorized post-bankruptcy transfer.

It's inconvenient especially if you're living paycheck to paycheck to file the bankruptcy

and have the garnishment continued, but the good news is it will get fixed though it might

just take a little time.

In this modern world things just don't move as fast as we really want them to all the

time.

My name is Ron Drescher.

I'm an attorney practices bankruptcy and creditor's rights.

If your wages are being garnished and you don't know what to do about it, you think

that maybe bankruptcy will help, please pick up the phone and call me.

I would love to hear from you.
