HOW LONG WILL BITCONNECT LAST? BITCOIN & KEEPKEY GIVEAWAY! (RYAN HILDRETH & CRYPTO NICK BITCONNECT) - Duration: 11:31.

what's going on guys welcome back to a brand new video on this channel today I

want to talk about how long is big connect going to last how can we predict

this is it safe to get in right now main question how long is big connect gonna

last now before we get started with that guys I currently just passed one 1000

subscribers had a huge jump of like 53 subscribers the other day so that's what

got me over the 1,000 subscriber hump and as a thank you I want to give out

something you guys a thank you to you guys and what I've been thinking is

either I'm going to give away Bitcoin or like start doing weekly Bitcoin

giveaways or maybe I'll give away a keep key of Bitcoin wallet so I'm not sure it

depends on if you guys would rather the wallet or if you guys would rather

Bitcoin let me know right now in the comments down below which one you guys

would rather have and then I'll try and get that set up right so that's gonna be

it um for that we're gonna jump right into talking about big connect so big

connect a lot of controversy on this a lot of people don't like this topic

before I get started this isn't financial advice I can't guarantee

anything this is just my research if you guys want to know how big connect makes

money I do have a separate video called I think how big Connect makes money on

my channel so go check that out after you guys are finished watching this I

will try to remember to link that somewhere at the end of this video ok so

um for those of you guys who don't know big connect is a platform where you can

loan your mom you transfer Bitcoin over you exchange it two-bit connect they're

just their own currency it is a currency on the corn market cap it's a currency

and then you lend out that currency in exchange for daily profits so let's

check it over here if you were to lend anything between a hundred and a

thousand dollars you get it's in contract for 299 days so you can't take

out your money you can't take out your initial investment for 299 days but

you're gonna be paid the daily percentage payout that they give you and

you can withdraw that any time any time it's just the initial investment that's

locked for this Monday then after this amount of days you get the initial

investment back okay so between 1,000 and 5,000 one

ten to five thousand you get extra point one percent which can you know it's a

big thing it adds up and your capital release is two hundred and thirty nine

days five thousand and ten to ten thousand you get an extra twenty percent

you get your capital release after one hundred seventy nine days and a ten

thousand and ten to a 100 thousand contract initial investment is 0.25

percent increase daily and you get your money back after a hundred and twenty

days now I currently am sitting at see my total investment currently at nine

hundred and nine thousand five hundred and fifty dollars now I did that in two

steps so one of my investments is between the one thousand and five

thousand range one of them is between the five thousand to ten thousand range

I do want to do a ten thousand dollar loan so that's gonna be coming up in the

near future I was gonna do him before if they ended up doing like a seven

thousand dollar loan now I'm looking at doing a ten thousand so doesn't see how

much I've earned though I've already earned back $7,100 oops

$7,100 out of the nine thousand five hundred fifty so what's seven thousand

one hundred and two divided by nine five zero

I already earned back basically seventy five percent of my money so that's great

the 1500 that is for affiliate payments so that's gonna bring me to the team we

got thirty three people on a team thank you all of you guys are part of the team

you know some of you guys are making a lot of money on this platform so thank

you for joining under my link and I hope you guys are enjoying those payouts um I

don't want to name any names in case you guys don't want that but yeah now how

long is big bit connect in the last now think about it this way bit connect um

you're loaning your Bitcoin right so bit connect if it pays you out an average of

like one percent daily which I have found to be pretty true um currently

it's a little less I think code the last seven days is a point eight four that's

just because the last two days have been kind of poopoo and this tomorrow is

gonna suck so I'm not really looking forward to this payment but if we do

take the last 30 days it's one point zero one percent in the last six months

is a point nine five now depending on your interest right so last thirty days

a 1.01 I have one loan that's between 1,000 and 5,000 so that gives me a plus

point one so for that amount of money I get plus I have one point one one

percent average I've been getting one point one percent average and then my

other ones between five and ten thousand so I'm getting plus plus point two

percent so I'm getting a one point two one percent every day I'm average for

the last thirty days so that's where those little extra benefits really come

in if you have the money to to lend more money right if you have the money to

lend more money that makes sense but so average let's say one percent right one

percent throughout the year that's three hundred and sixty five percent now don't

get me wrong that is far more than you are ever going to make anywhere else

probably all right um at least for now stock market not a chance

banks not a chance it's not a chance the only things the only things that can

bring you more than three hundred and sixty-five percent your money is what is

it if you got if you bought a ton of real estate oh wait maybe I'm just

kidding but probably starting a business that does really really well most

businesses won't starting a business that does really really well

that's one and the other thing that would have worked is if you just held

your Bitcoin now you're gonna ask why don't I just buy Bitcoin and why don't I

just hold Bitcoin the reason I like to put some of my money in big connect I do

a hold some Bitcoin but the reason I like to put some of my money on big

connect is that Bitcoin goes up and down so you guys can see a Bitcoin went up

Bitcoin goes down Bitcoin goes up big one goes down Bitcoin goes up probably

gonna go down right so the thing with big connect is that you're making money

even as Bitcoin goes down because with or without a trading bond right that's

up for discussion they haven't proven trading bond or whatever I think they

make money a separate way which I've explained in the other video but even

without that like you're making money as the dip so people that are holding

Bitcoin just saw their portfolio go from seven thousand three hundred and sixty

per Bitcoin all the way down to six thousand two hundred and thirty per

Bitcoin but you made one percent a day for those who was that like so for that

week right those six seven days you may want percent so you made seven percent

on your money right not bad at all now yeah I'm so that's basically the safety

bitcoins gone up 1220 1.88 percent this year

and Bitcoin has to pay out three hundred and something for everyone and you're

loaning you're giving them your Bitcoin in exchange for the big connect for you

to loan that means they've profited they've made more money you would have

made more money if you just bought your Bob Bitcoin here and you held it right

but like I said that's a lot riskier there's a lot of market stuff involves

stuff that not you know your average person doesn't understand about markets

I've done my research and I've learned how to understand the fluctuations

understand volatility how to not play with emotions a lot of people trade with

emotions that's just a terrible idea in my opinion but like let's take a look at

the last like week look at that look at that dip so it went from eleven thousand

two hundred ninety to a low of nine thousand three hundred ninety eight and

I believe it wouldn't even lower corn base just kind of had him like it kind

of messed up a little point it was too much going on dad's shut down the

website for a little bit in theory uh same thing right high of nine 500 low of

four hundred that's a hundred dollars swing like coin I have 102 low of 79 so

that period of time between the last day where it some people lost like two

thousand dollar valuation in their portfolio do you made two percent so

that's really the the interesting part about big bit connect and I mean if

they've made $1,000 they made one thousand two hundred twenty-eight

percent they can afford to pay you out for a long time so if everything were to

start tanking right now I believe they could probably still pay everyone out

one percent for at least five to six years right five to six years and

there's no reason I know a lot of people think it's a scan a lot of people like

oh what if they run out with your money there's no reason for them to they're

making more money this way they're literally making more money this way

you're making money they're making money everyone's

happy and the reason that they do this is because they are looking at Bitcoin

as a long-term play now I I hold Bitcoin is a long-term play too but they

obviously have a lot more money because they have the business that everything

they hold Bitcoin as a long-term play and that means that they think in the

future bitcoins going to keep skyrocketing and or you know maybe not

even not maybe not 1,000% a year but it's do it even if it does three hundred

sixty five percent they break even paying you out right the only thing is

your volatility software the amount you get pay every day might be less than

maybe the volatility is less Bitcoin only goes up 300% you only make point

five percent every day so that's kind of something to keep in mind they're not

guaranteeing a 1% it's just with the recent you know things that go on there

being able to pay 1% so that's that's kind of where that's dance so before

this video gets into too much rambling which I know I've already done I won't

let you guys know I think big connect is not going anywhere anytime soon

you guys can tell I have my investment in I've currently hold 10 of their 10

bit connect which I want to wait till evaluation goes up before I make another

loan if I do I don't hold point for too big Bitcoin here reason I haven't

transferred out is that I might want to do a loan so you guys can see I I trust

the platform a lot of other people trust the platform I think as long as Bitcoin

you know as long as it's around this is gonna be here so if you think that

bitcoin is going to disappear within the next how long the long term within the

next any of this amount of days don't don't invest a bit connect but I don't

think bitcoins going anywhere so I'm going to you know keep making the daily

payouts currently I'm at what 9500 I've been making out like a little bit over

$100 every every single day so honestly guys this has been one of the better

investments I've done one of these safer I know a lot of people don't think of

big connect as safe in my opinion this is a safe investment um I don't think

it's going anywhere and to paying me out 1% every day to me that's pretty damn

safe yes so if you guys have any questions on

big connect also you guys can always leave that in the comments down below

don't forget do you guys want a big coin do you guys want a keep key wallet or of

the other wallet what's it called starts with L I can't thank me right now I

don't have it but I'm gonna get one of those for you for a giveaway winner

saying thank you for the 100 1000 subscribers guys it's 2 o'clock in the

afternoon and I don't know why I can't talk so I'm gonna stop this video right

now thanks so much for watching don't forget to subscribe if you guys are new

I'll see you guys tomorrow for another video

Who Will Wash the Dishes? - Duration: 2:48.

Okay, one more thing, okay?

Since I'm free thinking, you know, free…

Somebody asked me a good question—was it in Hamburg?

No, it was in Singapore.

They're very similar! Somebody…

somebody raised their hand and said,

"So if I plant a seed to make my husband wash the dishes,

every night,

but he's sitting next to me at your talk, Geshe Michael…

what if he plants the same seed,

for me to wash the dishes every night?

Will there be like a seed explosion?

Okay?

In the room there are two realities:

Dog reality. Human reality.

Do they bump into each other?

No they…they're fine, in the same room.

There's a dog reality in this room,

and smoothly,

there's a human reality, in the same place,

at the same time.

Two realities.

No problem, okay?

You will both wash the dishes for the rest of your life.

And…

And…

Nobody will wash dishes for the rest of their life.

At the same time.

No problem.

Okay?

It's cool.

The physicists are just figuring it out, okay?

I'm helping them…

That's another story.

We'll stop 'til…

7:15-ish? Okay.

And then we'll come back. What do we have left to do tonight? What are we supposed to do then?

Yeah, step number 4—how to put the water.

Don't be like my mom.

Her head is full of good seeds.

She should be richer than Warren Buffet.

But she couldn't buy a car, okay?

Okay? Alright. Thank you.

North Korea threat: US will 'NOT get early WARNING' of Kim Jong-un attack amid WW3 fears - Duration: 3:46.

North Korea threat: US will 'NOT get early WARNING' of Kim Jong-un attack amid WW3 fears

has similar missiles to China, which means the US will not have a lot of warning before a potential missile strike, says the former four-star general.

Speaking to , he said: "The fact that they have mobile missiles like the Russians and also like the Chinese, actually their launches look remarkably similar to the Chinese, means that we're not going to have a lot of early warning.

" "So that is a challenge for us and we're still heading towards the main effort here.

" He also said that the US is still depending on China and that it was a good sign they had not gone all in yet.

General Keane sad: "Nikki Haley said it yesterday, is China, the fact that she is publicly asking China to do more means that we know, for a fact, that China has not gone all in yet and we're still depending on them.  He added that US politicians have done a good job of uniting countries around in the world in severing diplomatic and economic ties with North Korea.

He said: "Secretary Tillerson and Haley have done a good job in getting countries to back away from economically supporting North Korea and it would put more pressure on North Korea for sure." North Korea released video footage of Kim Jong-un's latest missile launch on Wednesday after the despot dictator tested world leaders' patience once again.

The secretive state had previously sparked fears that could erupt after a series of ICBM tests. had seemingly paused his ambition to create an arsenal of deadly weapons, having not fired a rocket since mid-September.

However, on Wednesday morning Pyongyang time, the rogue state's leader sent a statement to the world by launching a missile higher than ever before.

Some experts have warned with a different trajectory the ICBM could have reached the United States – something Kim Jong-un has promised after spending months entangled in a furious war of words with.

North Korea has since released video footage of Kim Jong-un watching ones his Hwasong-15 rocket was sent into the night skies above Pyongyang.

The missile travelled for around 53 minutes eastward before crashing into the sea off of the coast of US ally Japan.

North Korea's state-run Korean Central News Agency said the weapon was "tipped with a super-large heavy warhead which is capable of striking the whole mainland of the US".

Nuclear experts have claimed while North Korea has yet to deliver a nuclear warhead on top of an ICBM, it is likely they will be able to achieve it soon. .

How Will New Orleans Envision Criminal Justice Reform? - Duration: 4:33.

[Charmel] Our leaders have a responsibility to hear from

community about what makes them safe

and use that information to design a system that

works better

I was 19 years old when I was arrested and falsely accused

for crimes I did not commit.

It actually took FOUR years to actually

prosecute me, before I finally got convicted

and was sent to Angola

Louisiana State Penitentiary

so I stayed in the parish for actually four years.

Most of the court system's here you're going back and

forth back and forth for a long period of time,

which is to me, too injust! I spent in New Orleans

in jail for

Like, 8 months... you go to court

you got a good chance of just getting set back like

three months...say I go in there in January

go to court in January, it just might be packed. The

judge just might be frustrated.

"Look, just that this matter back to...

March."

My vision of Justice in this city

is to get debt free, right?

Our people are locked into these big

debts right now. Nobody should be profiting

off of human beings

and off of their suffering. I don't care what that

person is convicted of, and I don't care what they went

to jail for.

New Orleans City leaders are in a unique position right now,

we're at a great moment in this city's history where

we can have some prophetic action to radically

change the course of history for this city. Our

city spends two thirds of the budget on

public safety, and what if that money was reinvested

into preventative measures for jobs for everyone,

for affordable housing, for education, for mental health?

My vision of Justice is to end the incarceration

of all women and girls. Women who are incarcerated are

victims as well and have

experienced some type of trauma. [Annie] When we were

working on Act 276 to Ban The Box in public

College applications. We had people who had never

supported criminal justice reform who were champions

for that bill! [Analiese] My vision of Justice for New Orleans

in 300 years is

a system that is not punitive and especially

towards juveniles.

[Sheila] I believe city leaders should listen

to mothers because we know what's best for our

children. [Donte] Justice is equality.

I can say that cause that's what we mean, looking for when

we say "we want Justice, we want equality." [Andrea] My

vision of Justice is community driven. Part of recognizing community in this

is recognizing that we're a community made

up

of individuals, and no ONE individual is the worst thing that they have ever done.

It's time for us to win. Justice should be winning.

What we found during the Justice reinvestment

work

was, a negotiation

of things that people were holding deep in their

hearts because of their experience

and

Ideas about what it takes to get legislation passed

that might create a path

To do the long term generational work

of liberating folks

and to change the way the system works.

Jiren's Personality Explained, Why it Will Change Soon - Duration: 4:44.

Hello and welcome back all my dragon ball theorist and there has been many complaints

about Jiren and his personality in the community.

It has been said by many that he is a boring character everything from his design to mainly

his personality is just completely bland.

If we are going to have this crazy strong fighter then why make him this dull, unemotional

character?

Well the complaints have been heard and on the surface I do understand.

Everyone from the special on was hoping that Jiren would open up and start talking or even

hinting at some type of personality whether it screams Justice, Love or any simple desire

it would of been cool.

Except for the most part we got nothing, or did we...

I know Jiren isn't outspoken or appears to be complex but that is all of course about

to change and there have been many hints at this in the show for people that think he

is lacking in the interesting personality department.

Jiren on the surface is just this stoic character that shows no emotion but also accepts whatever

is about to happen.

For me though the lack of emotion is what is interesting because I am trying to figure

out what actually is making him tick.

What are his hidden desires and do they ever go against his core beliefs.

Of course in the recent Manga chapter they did show a brief conversation of Jiren and

his ultimate belief in Justice that we already knew being a pride trooper.

Except he didn't want to join initially and Belmod needed to use the Dragon Balls as bait

which of course sets up this instance of Toppo standing over Jiren in the special telling

him to fight to his content to attain the Super Dragon Balls.

You see Jiren isn't there to fight to prevent his Universe from being erased if it meant

others must be erased.

He was fine with letting the cards fall and be delt the hand of being erased while continuing

on protecting until that day happens.

However Jiren is there at the tournament for the Super Dragon Balls which is his number

one goal.

Don't let his meditation and lack of words fool you there is more to Jiren then has been

shown.

Another thing about his meditation which was the talk of the tournament and the grand priest

found daring and many fans thought wow this guy is kinda a prick and making a mistake

letting Goku stay in there.

Well if we look at what Jiren is actually doing then it wasn't a mistake but planned.

Jiren isn't regaining his stamina from his fights or needs this meditation to charge

up his power.

He is doing a form of meditative practice called Zazen which in short means Jiren is

letting his mind go to think about the past, present and future at the same time.

He is thinking about every possibility that could occur while being present right there

on the stage.

Not bad for a being that does in fact have power to transcend time.

Jiren has very complex undertones and while they haven't come out yet into this complex

dialog.

It will happen very soon.

Jiren isn't just this beyond powerful obstacle Goku has to overcome.

He is this new character that has only shown us the tip of the iceberg and isn't going

anywhere anytime soon.

For me even the short dialog was fine with Goku saying Saiyans are quite interesting

beings but this heat this is your limit.

Then in the Hit fight to call his Assassin's pride rubbish when he transcended time of

course was an exclamation mark!

Jiren has some complex ideologies and they will show through more and more as this tournament

gets down to the final fighters.

Remember Jiren isn't just waiting or making a mistake as many think but actually preparing

for every possible scenario that could happen right in front of everyone.

It is also why he can remain for the most part stoic in nature and just execute with

great precision when he has too.

In a way Jiren is flawless in his methods and while that does come across as boring

to some now when Jiren gets into fighting the last fighters on the stage the dialog

then will start to change.

Jiren's beliefs and reason he has to execute them to attain the Super Dragon Balls will

start to show through.

We will learn why Jiren can't be thought of in the practical sense.

Why he is a being of little words and why his sole purpose at the tournament is the

Super Dragon Balls.

For me at least I think this is all very interesting stuff.

So if you don't like Jiren now and find him boring give it some time and I think when

we go back and watch this entire Arc the build up for Jiren and what we are about to learn

from him will be all worth it and play through much better then waiting in real time.

Now I want to know what you guys think is Jiren some bad writing or is the best yet

to come and this character will end up being far more complex and interesting than originally

believed?

I always love to hear you theories in the comments below and just want to thank everyone

for watching and the continued support on the channel and you can always help out by

smashing that like button and subscribing if you haven't yet to keep those theories

coming!!

Malia Obama's White Friends Are On Black Lives Matter 'Hit List', This Will Blow Your Mind - Duration: 3:59.

Malia Obama is halfway through her first term at Harvard University, and recently, she was

caught by the celebrity outlet TMZ smoking and kissing a white guy at a tailgate party.

It was really no big deal since she is 19 years old, but what is shocking is the growing

upset from Black Lives Matter idiots who are threatening her "white friends," and not

only is there blatant racism going on, there's something evil lurking that's threatening

us all.

African-Americans who identify with Black Lives Matter and who buy into the narrative

that all whites are "out to get them" are taking quite an interest in the life of

Malia Obama.

From all accounts and videos, Malia seems to have friends who are mostly white.

This isn't something most of us have even thought about, but it is something that the

Black Lives Matter types are very aware of.

They also blame "conservatives," who they claim are "racists," for what TMZ published.

"Too bad that because Malia Obama's father was the first black president and very much

hated by racists conservatives across the nation, her actions are being politicized

and used to malign her father," reports The Root.

But, it gets worse.

"[W]hy are Malia Obama's friends making it all the more easier for the world to know

things about her that invite needless scrutiny?

A few of us have questioned if she had more Black people around her — as far as her

friendships and classmates go — would we know less about her business?

I always encourage us [Blacks] to be around more of us [Blacks]," reports Essence Magazine.

That sparked hostile BLM racists to threaten Malia's "white friends" on social media.

One tweet shows two African-American girls beating up a white girl with the statement,

"Me fighting Malia Obama Fake ass friends when I see them in the streets."

It should be noted that it was Barack Obama himself who invited BLM to the White House

and praised them as much as possible.

Kimberly Foster, a leading voice in movements like Black Lives Matter, wrote, "What strikes

me about all of the photos that attempt to put Malia on blast isn't that she's drinking

or smoking.

It's the complexion of the room.

Each of these spaces is overwhelmingly white, and that can't be a coincidence.

I know from my upbringing in cushy, midwest suburbs that not only are white kids reckless,

but they have little to lose."

I don't care what your ethnic background is, this type of blatant racism chills me

to the bone.

It is the norm now with these groups like Black Lives Matter, who also targets the police.

Martin Luther King Jr. is turning over in his grave.

He said, "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where

they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."

The hatred for all white people is exactly the same evil racism Martin Luther King Jr.

fought against.

Kimberly Foster ends her epic piece on Malia by saying, "If Malia can't be part of

a Black Girl Squad, I just hope these raggedy white folks will take it upon themselves to

respect her privacy."

Maybe Kimberly Foster doesn't know that at TMZ there are several African-Americans

who have reported on Malia Obama.

As children, we learn people are not good or bad due to their skin color, we also learn

growing up that there are those who hate and racial hate comes from ignorance.

These Black Lives Matter racists are no different than the Ku Klux Klan.

They should be designated a terrorist organization.

They are a scourge in America, and they hate the cops as much as they hate whites.

Kimberly Foster says she graduated from Harvard, so she can't really complain that racist

white people have "kept her down."

Their rhetoric is dangerous, and all American patriots who value what this country was founded

on should be informed of the threat that Black Lives Matter and similar groups present.

Nazis, Ku Klux Klan, and Black Lives Matter all hold the same sick beliefs, they have

no place in America.

Will vs Be Going To vs Present Continuous: Talk About the Future in English (Jack Explains) - Duration: 12:37.

- What's up everybody?

This is Jack from tofluency.com and in this English lesson

we're going to look at the difference between

will, be going to, and the present continuous

when talking about the future.

(soft electronic music)

Let's start with three examples.

I will get my hair cut, I will get my hair cut.

I'm going to get my hair cut, I'm going to get my hair cut.

I am getting my hair cut, I am getting my hair cut.

Will, be going to, and the present continuous.

All three are used to talk about the future.

It's difficult to know in which situations

do you use will or be going to or the present continuous

but by the end of this lesson you will have

a clear understanding of when to use these three tenses.

So, let's get started with a story.

Imagine that we decide to throw a party.

That we decide to have a party for one of our friends.

And we all need to bring something to the party.

We all need to contribute something for this event.

Because I'm an expert when it comes to beer I say,

Okay, I'll bring some beer.

I'll bring some beer to the party.

You say, I'll bring, complete that sentence.

I'll bring, maybe you said some food,

or I'll bring some chips or I'll bring a cake.

But we both used will to talk about this.

And that is because we made the decision to bring beer

or a cake in the moment of speaking.

We didn't have the intention to do this before

the conversation and that's one of the ways we use will.

When we make the decision to do something

in the future while we are speaking.

Here are some more examples to make that clearer.

My wife and I are sitting on the sofa,

it's 7 PM, the kids are in bed, and my wife says,

let's watch Stranger Things, let's watch Stranger Things.

I'll say, great I'll make some tea, I'll make some tea.

I didn't have the intention to make tea before

we had that conversation, the decision to make tea

was made during that conversation.

It doesn't matter if that future action

is in the immediate future or the distant future.

For example, let's say that you are in a meeting

and your boss says okay, we need somebody to give

a presentation at the big conference next year.

And you say, I'll do it, I'll do it.

Again, you didn't have the intention

to give this presentation before the meeting.

You made that decision while speaking.

So far the examples are, I'll bring the drinks,

I'll bring a cake, I'll make some tea, I'll do it.

Going back to the example about the party.

Later that day you see a friend

and he asks you about this party.

And you say, yeah, it's going to be great.

Jack is going to bring some beer,

Jack is going to bring some beer.

The intention of bringing beer was

made before that conversation.

Therefore, we can't use will.

We need to either use be going to,

or the present continuous.

And at this stage it's important to know

that be going to and the present continuous can be flexible.

And in fact, in many situations you can use both

with more or less the same meaning.

So you can say, Jack is bringing some beer to the party.

Jack is bringing some beer to the party.

Before I said to my wife, I'll make some tea,

I'll make some tea but look at this example.

I'm going to make some coffee.

Do you want some?

I'm going to make some coffee.

Do you want some?

The intention to make coffee was

there before I asked that question.

I already had that intention,

therefore, I don't use will.

I didn't make the decision to do that in the moment.

I'm going to make some coffee.

Do you want some?

Going back to the example of the presentation.

In the meeting you said, I'll do it, I'll do it.

But imagine later that day you meet

one of your friends at the pub.

You say, I'm going to give a big presentation next month.

I'm going to give a big presentation next month.

Now, when we're talking about our plans

and arrangements and intentions for the future

we normally use be going to or the present continuous.

I've talked about a few examples of how we use will

but in most cases we use be going to and the

present continuous because we normally know our plans

and intentions before the conversation.

But what is the difference between

be going to and the present continuous?

Well, the present continuous is mainly

used for arrangements and in most cases

there is a specific time and date for this.

For example I have a football game at 3 PM on Sunday.

A friend asks me if I want to

go to his party on Sunday afternoon.

I say, I'm so sorry I can't go,

I'm playing football at 3 PM.

It's an arrangement, it's a plan with a

specific time and date.

I'm playing football at 3 PM.

Another example is I have an appointment

at 10 AM on Tuesday at the hairdressers.

Here, I would say, I'm getting my hair cut on Tuesday.

I'm getting my hair cut on Tuesday.

But if you don't have a set plan or an arrangement

then we tend to use be going to.

For example, I'm going to get my hair cut soon.

I'm going to get my hair cut soon.

In this example, I don't have an appointment.

But it's my intention to get my hair cut.

I'm going to get my hair cut soon.

And here's a conversation where

we can use this example with will.

My wife says Jack, your hair is bloody awful,

you hair is bloody awful.

I say, what do you mean?

Kate says, there's just no style to it, it looks terrible.

I say, wow, okay, I'll get it cut soon.

Notice that the intention to get my hair cut

wasn't there before the conversation.

I made the decision to do this during the conversation.

That's why I use will.

So going back to the three examples

I gave at the start of the video.

I'll get my hair cut soon.

I'm going to get my hair cut soon.

I'm getting my hair cut on Tuesday.

The first one, the intention is there

but I made the decision during the conversation.

The second one, the intention is there

but I already decided to do this before the conversation.

And the last one is an arrangement.

I have the appointment, I'm getting my hair cut on Tuesday.

So that is the main difference between

will, be going to, and the present continuous.

(soft electronic music)

Let's look at a few more examples using be going to.

And some very specific cases when we use this.

The first one is I'm going to mow the lawn this weekend.

Now, when it comes to these types of activities

we tend to use be going to.

Because we don't make arrangements with people to do this.

I'm going to mow the lawn this weekend.

We're going to clean the house on Sunday.

I'm going to do my homework tonight.

These are types of activities

where we tend to use be going to.

(soft electronic music)

Let's talk about predictions now.

Because when we are predicting the future

we can use either will or be going to.

For example, when we're talking about our party,

I think Paul is going to come,I think Paul is going to come.

Or, I think Paul will come, I think Paul will come.

But if you are basing your prediction

on current evidence then use be going to.

The example that many of your have seen before is this,

Look at that black cloud!

It's going to rain!

The black cloud is the evidence

that we are using for our prediction.

Look at that black cloud!

It's going to rain!

Or Mike Tyson looks so focused.

He's going to knock out the other guy soon!

He's going to knock out the other guy soon!

(soft electronic music)

We can also use both be going to

and will in the first conditional.

For example, if it rains, we'll cancel the party.

If it rains, we'll cancel the party.

Or if it rains, we're going to cancel the party.

If it rains, we're going to cancel the party.

I want to end on three examples

that are used very specifically.

The first one is this.

What are you doing tomorrow?

What are you doing tomorrow?

This is what we ask when we're trying to find out

somebody's availability so we can suggest something.

Let's say we have a party tomorrow which we do, you can say.

What are you doing tomorrow?

Do you want to come to this great party?

You'll notice we use the present continuous to do this.

What are you doing Sunday morning?

The next one is this.

You might here your boss say,

okay everyone, I'll be in the office tomorrow.

Or okay everyone, I won't be in the office tomorrow.

The boss uses will here to talk about a future fact.

Here are two more examples.

I'll be in London this time next week.

I'll be in London this time next week.

They'll be on the plane this time tomorrow.

They'll be on the plane this time tomorrow.

And finally, Let's introduce another tense here.

The train gets in a 7 AM, the train gets in a 7 AM.

This is a present simple.

And we can use the present simple

to talk about the future too.

This is for things on a schedule or a time table.

The train gets in a 7 AM, it's on a schedule.

Another example is I leave tomorrow at 7 AM.

I leave tomorrow at 7 AM.

I'm taking a flight, which is why I'm using it in this way.

I leave tomorrow at 7 AM.

And finally, what time does the lesson start?

What time does the lesson start?

So, we have covered a lot in this lesson.

What I recommend you do is if anything is unclear,

watch it again and then leave any questions you have below.

Speaking of leaving things below,

also write a few examples using

be going to, will, an the present continuous.

If you want, create some type of dialogue

so that you give the example some context.

And finally, know that this is not easy.

It's going to take you a long time to truly

understand when to use will,

be going to, and the present continuous.

But to help you I've created a playlist over here.

So click over there, watch those videos,

and you'll have a much better understanding of this area.

If you've enjoyed it, please like and share.

Thank you so much for being here.

The Death of Mainstream Religion (With The End Of Free Will) - Duration: 6:14.

The great philosopher and logician, Bertrand Russell, once remarked that "religion is something

left over from the infancy of our intelligence, it will fade away as we adopt reason and science

as our guidelines", and indeed, history supports his words.

If we take Christianity alone, biblical geocentrism was invalidated by scientific heliocentrism,

Young Earth Creationism and Noah's Ark were laid waste to by geology, and creationism

was unconsciously annihilated by evolution, and as a result, Christianity slowly but surely

faded, having to reinterpret its otherwise unambiguous assertions in order to remain

compatible with scientific enlightenment.

But while Christianity (and indeed all religions), have been able to reinterpret their scripture

in order to accommodate most discoveries, they have had particular difficulty with evolution

by natural selection, because unlike heliocentrism, which merely contradicts a few biblical statements

of fact, evolution contradicts many biblical statements of fact, and it critically diminishes

its creation story.

Put shortly, without the literal story of Adam and Eve, the Garden of Eden, and the

Fruit of Forbidden Knowledge, Original Sin is seriously compromised, and as a result,

Jesus' sacrifice make even less sense.

Now of course, Christians can (and indeed have) reinterpreted their scripture to make

this square fit through the circle, but many denominations (though by no means a majority)

simply won't do this.

They're of the opinion that if the very explicit biblical statements of 'fact'

about creation are just metaphors, then the bible loses its integrity, because any biblical

statement of fact can be viewed as a metaphor… and hence, they see evolution as incompatible

with their religion (and to be honest, so do I).

And while I fervently disagree with them, I must admit that I have more respect for

their position than I do for those who insist that they've squared the circle.

But alas, overall, Christianity, like most religions, has accepted evolution, and in

time, so too will the religions that currently don't (such as Islam).

But a discovery that mainstream religions absolutely cannot accept, is the long suspected

and recently demonstrated fact that free will is an illusion – that is, that 'libertarian

free will' doesn't exist.

But before I explain exactly why this is the case, it would be remiss of me not to first

demonstrate how exactly we know that free will is an illusion.

However, to do so sufficiently, I would need to clearly define terms, present evidence,

and expose misconceptions, which would all amass to a considerable amount of time and

would detract from the point of this video.

And so, in light of this, what I've decided to do is to put a link in the description

to a video of mine titled 'Free Will – Debunked', which does just this… and so, if you currently

believe in free will, then I'd like to kindly suggest that you either pause this video to

watch that one now, or that that you watch it shortly after this one.

Anyhow, the reason that mainstream religions simply cannot accept that free will is an

illusion is because they are entirely predicated on the assertion that it's not.

The Abrahamic concepts of 'heaven', 'hell', and 'sin', for example, all necessitate

that humans have free will; as does the Hindu concept of Moksha, and the Buddhist concept

of Naraka.

To quote Sam Harris, "Without free will, sinners and criminals would be nothing more

than poorly calibrated clockwork, and any conception of justice that emphasized punishing

them (rather than deterring, rehabilitating, or merely containing them) would appear utterly

in-+con-gru--ous.

And those of us who work hard and follow the rules would not 'deserve' our success

in any deep sense."

Or in other words, without free will, no one can 'earn' the reward of Moksha, or 'deserve'

the punishment of hell, and hence, concepts such as these, which are at the very core

of mainstream religions, can only be made compatible with the absence of free will if,

and only if, they're revised to the point of no longer being recognisable…

There is simply no way to accept that free will is an illusion and to simultaneously

maintain that one 'deserves' reward or punishment.

This square can't be circled.

Now just as a side note, and to be clear, I am of course perfectly aware that some denominations

of some religions adhere to theological determinism, and that therefore religion can indeed accommodate

the illusion of free will, but it's precisely because of this that these denominations are

so distinguishable from the mainstream.

And so yes, it's possible for mainstream religions to adapt to the absence of free

will, but to do so they would need to reshape the very foundation of their core beliefs

– to the point that for all intent and purposes, they'd have died.

Or to put this as clearly as possible, because mainstream religion necessitates free will,

and because free will is an illusion, mainstream religion is therefore dead… but it just

doesn't know it yet.

Anyhow, to finish where we started, the truth of the matter is that each and every time

that a religion has successfully reinterpreted its scripture in order to accommodate a discovery,

it has done so as only a Pyrrhic Victory.

While it may have remained compatible with scientific advancements, it has each and every

time lost integrity and stature… it has, to quote Russell… faded…

As always, thank you kindly for the view, and an extra special thank you to my wonderful

patron and to those of you who have donated to the channel via PayPal.

And on the note of Patreon, I just want to say that it was a pleasure to speak with you

all the other night, and that I intend to do so again very soon.

Cheers!
