Guess what? Trees are killing your roof.

Nobody wants to hear it but that's the truth:

Trees which overhang a roof contribute directly to the destruction of those roofing shingles. Here's how:

Moss and lichen spores drop from the tree branches onto the roof shingles

...where they're happy to thrive in the shade and moisture provided by the same overhanging branches.

Over time - but NOT overnight as some homeowners claim -

the spores grow into mosses and lichens and it's all downhill from there.

Mosses push up on the edge of the shingles which

then lift up, catch the wind, and break during our coastal storms.

Lichens - there's thousands of types - actually feed upon the protective outer layer of the shingles.

That damage is irreversible.

Here on Cape Cod we see far more roofs

destroyed by moss and lichen than by "Old Age."

So the question then becomes, "How do I keep my roof clean?"

First and foremost, keep those trees trimmed back.

How To Deal With Negative People - Duration: 2:36.

If you are around a friend, family member or co-worker who is always negative, you may

find that it's starting to affect you.

Research has shown that just like germs, negative thinking is contagious!

This phenomenon is called emotional contagion.

That is why I put together a list of 3 tips to help you absorb as little negativity from

others as possible.

Tip #1: Take the Driver's Seat for a while Especially if you are tired of hearing somebody

ruminate over the same stuff, you need to at least temporarily take control.

Begin planning activities that will get your friend's mind off of their problems.

Try going to the movies, hiking, a fitness class, or a local meetup.

The important thing is to find activities you will both enjoy that don't involve a

lot of talking.

Tip #2: Be Kind, Yet Firm, in Setting Boundaries Sometimes it is not possible to walk away

from someone's negative attitude.

This goes double at work.

In situations like these, you sometimes have to set some non-negotiable boundaries.

If your co-worker keeps trying to draw you into their sphere of negativity, tell them

that you've chosen to think positively about your job and then leave it at that.

In most cases, when people realize that they no longer have a sympathetic ear, they will

most likely try and find someone new to dump on.

Tip #3: Become the detached observer If you are in a situation where you really can't

talk to the negative Ned or Nancy that you are dealing with about their behavior, then

imagine putting a bubble boundary around you that

keeps the good in and negativity out.

As soon as the negativity begins, put on a smile and imagine all those negative words

just bouncing off your bubble.

In doing this, you can go from being a victim of negativity to just being

an observer who is detached from what is being said.

Think of yourself as a casual observer.

You can reinforce this by telling yourself something such as, "I'm grateful for my

positivity."

Hopefully your positivity will one day rub off.

Even if it doesn't, their unhappiness is not your responsibility.

I believe that by practicing one or a few of these 3 tips, you should be in a much better

place regardless of anybody's negative attitude.

That being said, If these 3 tips don't work and all that negativity becomes unbearable,

you may need to take a friendship break and if it's a person who is impacting your basic

happiness at work, you may need to go visit HR.

Just like anybody else, you have the right to be happy so be sure to do whatever you

need to do to ensure your well-being.

How to fix boot loop problem on any android // Easy way // universal method - Duration: 5:47.

In 31st april 2013 i bougth my first smart phone.After eight months i rooted and install

custom cwm recovery.And accidentally i erased some nessarary files.So, It started to show

its real face.

It turn on and off and it repeats.I was worried.So, I looked lots of sites , blogs, forums.But,

it doesn't work.So, I bring to service center.They told it doesn't comes under the warrenty.So,

you have to pay some certain amount.I payed and I started my learn about the solution.

//intro// Hey there , this is stark.

And this video we will see about bootloops , phone bricking and some problems related

to that.

Well, You may or might cross those stituation.Yes,

its boot loop.

Your device turn on.and shows the logo,And thats all.

It doesn't made any thing.

So, knowing from the basic make sense.

Basically your device requires some nessasary files to done the success boot up.

Its common for all the android eco system devices.

Those nessary files are stored in the boot file.

Actually its called as boot image.

This boot image contains the things like finding the initial file of your ROM,kernal details

and it takes care of the travel from boot logo to boot animation.

Also the boot image file is unique one.

It various on each and every model.

This what about boot image.

Now, we see about boot loader.

The boot loader is comes with default by the device manufacturer.

What it does is it shows the initinal or startup path of your ROM to the boot.

So, at the end of the boot You are getting your home screen.

But, the default boot loader or locked boot loader only works in original default ROM.

Not, in custon ROM.Thats why we are unlocking boot loader.After unlocking only the device

supprorts custom ROM.

And Now is the important thing, Recovery.

When the problem happening to those two things what i mention i earlier,

we have to switch our device to Recovery and install the ROM again.

Or even clearing cache and dalvik make the problems normal in some cases.

Well, these are all the basics.

It is common on all the android device.

Then ,why boot loop actually happening.

While you tring to modify the boot image or modules in ROM.

The boot loop may happen.

If boot iamge currepted means it doesn't show any boot animation.it stoped there it

self.

Or else problem happend on modules in ROM.

It shows the boot logo, as well as boot animation.

If your device only showing boot logo alone means, you have to flash your boot image and

then you have to flash the rom.

If it showing boot animation is the risk factor is too low.

Just switch your device to recovery mode.

And then wipe factory restore.

Some times it work.If it is not working then flash the ROM.

Here is the main point, if boot file missed means,

you should have your device's proper boot image.Or else you have to follow the official

formal way to flash original ROM of your device.that alone contains boot image.

And listen,you should know it.

The custom rom packages doesn't boot image.

2 ways one you have to flash original ROM.

And the original ROM only flash in Original Recovery or default recovery.

Or, you have to search for boot image of your device.

After you are having your boot image , recovery and all.

There is no risk factor.

If Any undisireble sutitation happening,Dont worry!

You can get your device back.

So, My guilde line before going to flash anything just do TWRP or some other entire backup.

That make sense.That alone helps you when you are in danger.

you can create a page in squarespace similar to a landing page that

hides your header and footer.

So you won't see the header and you will not see the footer the prefooter or the footer

I created this page for my instagram account and it's on squarespace and it's essentially

my all the links page it is very similar to a site called linktr.ee but since I designed

it on squarespace I'm able to have more flexibilty and everything and it has everything else

without having the header and footer.

So i', going to show you real quick how I did that.

What you want to do one your page is to hit this little settings thing.

Then you want to go to advanced and then this is all of the code that you will need to hide

the um header prefooter and footer.

Now if you still wanted to have the prefooter and your footer there you just want to

include this code.

I will add this code at the bottom of this so that you can just copy and paste it and

use it for your own.

But once you add that you just hit save and that's it.

James forgot to tell her to explain her why.

Guys tell your girl everything, explain everything you think

two students were parting the night before the exam and on the exam day they

asked professor to delay the exam

Professor agree because they told him another story

They say they had a car accident and they had tire flattened

That's why they are not ready for exam.

The next day professor put each students to different rooms

and ask one simple question which tire was flattened

logically you will answer right front

That's the most common case

but in this situation to give right answer is not enough

You need to give the answer another student gave

In exam game correct answer is not always the right answer

the right answer is the answer that your opponent will get

in this case you should remember any story connected to tires that your friend also knows

what is logical for you is logical for him too

How to Make a Simple Khichdi - A Pressure Cooker Recipe! - Duration: 5:16.

Hi and welcome to my video! This week we are making some comfort food. There's a

version of this dish in almost every region of India. It's very easily

digestible and uses very simple ingredients that you might already have

in your pantry. If you haven't guessed already I am sharing a recipe for Khichdi.

Khichdi is best described as a salty porridge made from rice and lentils.

Sometimes it is made from other things like bajra or sabudana but for this

version I am sticking to short grain white rice and masoor dal, because they

both cook up really quickly and easily. Here's a bit of trivia for you: the

British dish known as kedgeree actually originated from Khichdi and if

you're a fan of Downton Abbey then you know that this is the first dish

mentioned by Mrs. Patmore way back in season 1 episode 1. Now, before we get

started please show my channel some love and give this video a thumbs up and hit

the subscribe button while you're at it because I post recipes every single

Monday. Now once you have all your ingredients lined up, go ahead and heat

up some ghee or oil in your pressure cooker on high heat then add the whole

cumin seeds to the hot oil. Or you can just add them from the beginning and

wait for them to crackle. Once they're crackling away it's time to add the

green chillies followed by the ginger and garlic. If you think the oil is too

hot at this point go ahead and turn it down a little bit and make sure to keep

these ingredients moving. We want them to cook and to become aromatic but we don't

want them to burn. And once you can smell their beautiful aromas go ahead and add

the turmeric powder followed by the red lentils and the rice. And I would like to

say that both the rice and the red lentils have each been soaked for 30

minutes before. I would highly recommend not missing this step. There are a lot of

benefits to pre-soaking pulses as well as rice but aside from that, it's really

going to help in the cooking process. Then stir to combine everything and add

a little bit of salt. You don't have to add a lot at this stage because you can

always adjust it once everything is cooked,

and the next step is to add water. The ratio of water is one to three-and-half

and in this instance the one refers to the combined amount of rice and

lentils. I had a cup and a half of combined rice and lentils so I used five

and a quarter cups of water. And that's water that I boiled in my kettle. That's

gonna help speed up the cooking process as well. As you could see this was

already bubbling away and that's because I used water that was already hot. Then

go ahead and shut the pressure cooker and allow this to cook on high for 3

whistles. That's what a whistle looks like right there, and in case you need

any further clarification you can check out this video I made on how to make a

simple dal and use your pressure cooker without detriment.

After the third whistle, go ahead and turn down the heat to low. This will

give you enough time to work on the tempering for your Khichdi and you only

need a couple of things for this. A whole red chilli, some curry leaves, and about a

teaspoon of coriander seeds. Start out by heating some ghee or oil in a little

skillet on high heat and just add in all of the tempering ingredients. This is an

optional step but it does add an extra layer of deliciousness to your Khichdi.

And even though this is a simple Khichdi, it's not basic. Just because this recipe

isn't complicated, doesn't mean we're going to skip steps or take any

shortcuts. By this time, all the steam should be released from your pressure

cooker so go ahead and open it up and take a minute to appreciate the vibrant

and beautiful color of this dish. You can adjust the salt if you need to at this

stage and then add the tempering right on top and combine it into the dish. This

oil that's been infused with these roasted spices is going to give such a

depth of flavor to this Khichdi and if you're in need of some culinary love

because you haven't been feeling well, you're gonna feel thoroughly comforted

when you taste this. You can certainly eat this on its own but my favorite way

to serve this is alongside some tomato salad, some plain yogurt, and mango pickle

or aam ka achaar. The complete recipe as well as the recipe for this very simple tomato

salad will be up on the blog so you can check that out if you need to otherwise

that's it! This gooey porridgey goodness is the perfect recipe for when

you're feeling just a little under the weather, and if you're wondering what

I see too many people standing up way too tall with their putting posture.

And if you walk in to any golf shop, anywhere in the world, on course or off course golf

shops it doesn't really matter.

The standard putter you are going to see is 35 inches.

Some of them may have 34 inch putters.

This particular one is a 34 inch putter.

But it's already an inch shorter.

But most people are buying 34 inch putters.

So if I take my set up with a 34 inch putter.

So I am going to grip slightly longer.

That's forcing my spine angle to stay pretty straight.

It also means that my eyes are no longer over the correct position My eyeline is now down

here.

And I want it to be closer to the ball.

So that's with a 35 inch putter.

I am just gripping slightly longer to simulate a 35 inch putter.

So, I don't look very comfortable.

I feel my elbows are bent.

It's terrible.

I can't really make a good putting stroke from this position.

I can hole putts but I can't do it consistently.

And I certainly can't do it under pressure.

So to fix my putting posture.

All I need to do is get the correct putter fit.

So this is my putter.

It's 32 inches long.

So it's 3 inches under the standard.

And by the way I am not sure if you know why they came about 35 inches as the standard

length of a putter.

I thought it was due to a lot of exhaustive research.

It turns out that 35 inches is the length of the shaft that you put the putter in the

bag.

The putter hits the base of the bag.

My 32 inch putter.

My putter shaft doesn't hit the base of my bag.

It sort of sits off the base of the ground.

It doesn't bother me it's the right length.

So that's how they came about 35 inches.

So this is 32 inches at first this feels like a tooth pick.

It's ridiculously short.

Let's have a look at what happens when I take my posture with my 32 inch putter.

So all of a sudden now my eyes are not quite over the ball.

They are just down here over the neck of the putter.

And that's the perfect place for my eyeline to be.

If you are going to be wrong I would certainly be more over the ball rather than getting

it back inside the line.

But I think over the neck of the putter is the best place to have your eyes.

So with me taking my grip at 32 inches.

You can see the difference in my arms.

They are no longer bent and up into my belly here.

I am just letting it hang freely.

So that gives me a nice swinging motion.

That I can swing pendulum style that gives me a free swing at the putt without manipulating

anything.

And I certainly feel a lot more relaxed and comfortable.

So from there I can just take my set up.

Stay relaxed, Put a stroke on it, and it goes in the hole.

So have you been fitted for your putter?

It's the club in the bag that you use the most.

You really should get that club fitted more than any other club in the bag.
