ABS Control Module Replacement 2007-2009 Toyota Camry (How to) - Duration: 5:33.

In this video I show you how to replace an ABS control module on a

2007 Toyota Camry.

Hi, I'm AJ and you're watching Woodified! If you'd like to learn how to do stuff yourself

please subscribe and click the bell notification button so you don't miss any of my videos.

Before you do anything you need to disconnect the battery. Find the negative connector usually it has a black cap or a minus symbol,

loosen the nut,

remove the connector from the terminal and move it away from

the battery.

This is where the ABS control module is located in a 2007 Toyota Camry.

I ordered a replacement part from my local Auto

Recycler. All I needed was the ABS control module

but my Auto Recycler only sells a module with the ABS pump attached.

I realized I had a problem when my speedometer stopped working while I was driving.

The brake warning light and ABS warning light came on.

The speedometer needle would occasionally flicker as did the tachometer

which is the RPM gauge and the temperature gauge stopped working altogether.

The gear light that usually says the "R", "N", or "D" "D" when you're driving

that would turn on and off all by itself.

I'll put a link in the description to a video showing the craziness that I saw on my dash.

Lift up on the plastic lever to unlock the cable connector then disconnect the cable.

Remember you were going to disconnect your battery first.

Now you can remove the four screws from the anti-lock braking system control module.

One

Two

Three

Four. Here I'm using a 5/32 socket to loosen the bolts.

With the cable and the four bolts removed pull the ABS control module straight off.

On your replacement part make sure that you didn't get any dirt on the gasket before you install it.

On the inside of the ABS module there are two slots and eight holes that need to line up

with the pins on the Block.

I lined up the two slotted pins first then gently worked the eight pins into their holes.

With the replacement ABS module in place you can secure it with the four bolts you previously removed.

My replacement part cost one hundred seventy seven dollars Canadian

and that was for a recycled part. Now that included the ABS pump which I didn't need to replace.

Replacing the a ABS pump would be a more complex job as

the break lines are under pressure and that jobs probably best left to the experts.

When ordering the part the Auto Recycler asked me a few questions.

They asked if my car had

a traction control button, which it does not. And they asked for the 5th digit in the

VIN which is the vehicle identification number.

With the bolts tightened you can reattach the cable connector.

To do so just

push it back into place and then slide the lever back down

and it should pull its way back and lock in place.

Here's the same thing just at a different angle so you can get a better view of how to lock that cable

connector back in place. Once the cable is locked in place you can reattach the battery wire and

tighten that connection.

If you replace your ABS module leave me a comment on how much your part cost.

If you like this video, please hit the thumbs up button.

Thanks for watching, and we'll see you in the next video.

How I Got 1000 YouTube Subscribers - Duration: 4:57.

Oh hi! So I know what you're thinking when you look at me. I don't play video

games, I'm not particularly attractive (I have the exact opposite of a fringe) and

I'm an old. Relatively. So how did I convince a thousand people to smash that

subscribe button? Well many years ago during the harvest moon I stumbled upon

this warlock in the middle of the Forgotten Woods. Some stuff happened and

now I'm on the road to becoming YouTube famous! Also one of my feet is a duck

foot. Now do you need to make a dark deal with a shadowy figure in the middle of a

forest? No. Of course not. There's also the parking lot of a Denny's. Or any other

place that reeks of bad magic. Maybe your town still has a Radio Shack? Okay, so

enough with the goofs. But to sort of bury the lede, I don't know how I got here.

But you do have to blame Hank Green. But let's go back – way back – to the year 2010.

The iPhone 4 had just been announced, the second to last Harry Potter movie was a

few months away from being released, and BP was still pumping out tons of oil

into the Gulf of Mexico. It truly was a blessed time. I, on a complete whim,

decided to travel to Los Angeles to attend the very first annual VidCon. I

used to have footage of this but I don't know where it is. And whether it was the

first public performance of "Double Rainbow" by the Gregory Brothers, or this

impassioned speech that Ze Frank gave that made me tear up,

I came back with a mission to upload a video every week to YouTube. And then I

did that. For – almost – eight years. and that's how you get a thousand

subscribers. My job here is done. Except there's more to it than that. Over

all the time that I have been uploading videos, yes there's been a number of

different scandals. And yes there's been a bunch of different people who've

become the most subscribed to on this website. But, in my opinion, the content

has gotten better and better. But for the first ... I'd say three years I made complete

crap. I mean I was definitely trying my best. It was not my intention to make

terrible stuff. That's just what was happening. The good thing about it is

that because nobody was watching it didn't matter! What did matter is that I

was creating. I was learning how to frame, how to light, how to use editing software.

Then I eventually got to a point where I was making kind of decent stuff. Stuff

that I didn't feel completely mortified sharing with other people.

But I became increasingly frustrated. Now that I was making alright content

why was there not thousands of people wanting to watch what I was making? I was

becoming a bit discouraged about continuing on. A feeling that not a

single other person on this platform has ever experienced. I was continuing to go

to VidCon – I still haven't missed a year – but three years ago I put my name into

this pool of applicants so that a top creator could sit down with me and offer

criticism about what I was making. To my shock I was selected, and not only was I

selected but it was going to be Hank Green who was gonna sit down with me.

Hank Green! The person who created VidCon, and one half of the vlogbrothers with

his brother John – who does something with words. I think he's, like, a Boggle

champion or something. Anyway I was gonna be sitting down with Hank Green for 15

minutes. Instant butterflies. I had a small bout of cold feet, mostly because I

still had that one duck foot, but Hank was completely gracious and he offered

me some advice that completely invigorated me. He told

me that he liked what he saw. That he loved my voice – both my actual speaking

voice and the way that I approached topics – and he also said that I shouldn't

stop creating. And that meant a lot to me. So I didn't. And in fact I pushed myself.

Instead of these surface level topics that I was discussing, I began to dig a

little bit deeper into my mental health and into my sexuality. I began making short

films. I created this Media Lab so that local creators could come and film what

they wanted to create. I also found a great community of creators in my own

city. We began having meetups every month. We collaborate with one another, and our

content influences each other to become better. This last year was the best year

I've ever had on YouTube. I grew by over 300 people. There's more comments than ever

before, and I finally crossed that 1000 subscriber mark, something I've

wanted to do ever since I began making videos. Here's what I've learned: there

are definitely ways that you can go and game the YouTube algorithm, ways to make

viral videos, but sometimes you just need to grind away for years to get to where

you want to be. My goal is 3000 subscribers by the end of this year.

Which is bold, I know. I also need to find that Warlock to get rid of this duck

foot somehow. But I want to hear from you! How did you find this channel? What stuff

do you want to see more of? What topics interest you the most? Let me know down

in the comments below. Thank you so much for watching. My name is Kyle. I upload

videos every Monday and Thursday, although this coming Saturday will be

the beginning of my mini-series on the Oscar nominations. You can do all the

normal YouTube stuff to this video. Although the best way that you can help

me is if you like this video, tell somebody about it. I just ... um ... I need

to phone Richard Roeper. Apparently he knows how to get a lot of subscribers.

How to do the Splits, what NOT to expect: #3 Introduction to the best stretching routine - Duration: 4:10.

do you want to know the key to functional practical flexibility well

it's this you've got to get strong at your maximum range of motion.

okay continuing on from "what to expect from this program" I'm going to make a few

points about "what NOT to expect" and with this I really hope to reduce any

discouraging surprises that might disrupt your discipline and training consistency.

What NOT to expect. Number one: progress will not be linear.

the first thing you should not expect is that your strength and flexibility

progress will not be linear. actually instead of a linear progress it'll be

more like... two steps forward, one step back, three steps forward, one step back.

Maybe even something like this as you work through your sessions. Like one day

you'll find that your new maximum range of motion is say 160 degrees. And then

two days later, when you do your next session, there might be some regress

and you only manage say 150 degrees. Then in your next session you hit 170, then 170 again

and finally a full 180 degrees. I think it's very unlikely that you manage

to increase your maximum range of motion by a full five or ten degrees every single session.

Expect to have some days of regress among your many days of progress

and don't let it discourage you

so unless you're working your hip adductors all the time taking them to

their maximum range of motion and making them a contract intensely and regularly

these exercises are going to do some damage at the start. Good damage of course.

Beneficial damage. But at a microscopic level we're tearing our

target muscle cells in a very specific way and it's going to feel uncomfortable

and I'm just being honest really if you want a lovely relaxing stretching

program... well you're just not going to find that here. I mean I do hope you at

least try this out but like I explained in the previous video don't be surprised

that each session gets you puffing and sweating and you get a serious workout

as opposed to a relaxing therapeutic rest

I thought about explaining rep ranges time and attention and typical training outcomes

but man I know I know I know I know that'll only create distracting debates.

So I'll say this: It is very unlikely that the high volume of quick

reps that we clock up will stimulate ANY growth in ANY of the type to fast twitch

muscle fibers in our adductor groups. I mean there just won't be enough load

to make us bulky there. So yeah this program is not going to cause hyperplasia, which

is basically making new muscle cells to increase muscle cell quantity or

hypertrophy which is making bigger muscle cells to increase muscle cell

size we won't experience either of those outcomes either hyperplasia or

hypertrophy because we're getting strong by increasing muscle efficiency and

that's when our bodies learn to recruit more existing muscle not making new

muscle cells or bigger muscle cells but using existing muscle cells and that's

because really the type of strength we're after is strength endurance

because that's specific to functional applications like fighting dancing

gymnastics and so on, where we wouldn't just fire eight kicks and then walk away

really what we need is as many in the tank as possible maybe fifteen maybe a

hundred and fifteen or as many as it takes to get the job done and that's why

we won't be bulking up there. okay that should take care of all

of your expectations so in the next video I'll go into all of the things you'll need

to start and finish a program I'll see you then

hey before you go to the next video and make sure you subscribe for more content

just like this because there's a growing library of progressive training videos

here on the ten thousand method channel to help you with your training goals

How To Make Your Videos Stand Out - 3 Helpful Tips - Duration: 6:30.

Hi guys, Jordan with Motion Array and today we're going to learn how to make your video stand out!

I don't know if you realize, but video creation is an EXPLODING field.

Literally everyone is starting to do it, for personal use, for business, trying to get

famous, to make travel videos, teaching and training, everyone and their mom, literally,

is throwing content out into the world, so a lot of people are wondering

how do you make your videos stand out?

Like, in a good way?

Well I'm gonna give you 3 tips to hopefully give your videos an edge over the competition.

So let's dive into it with

#1 Give every cut a purpose

It can be really easy just to jump back and forth from one camera angle, to another, then

throw up some B-Roll and call it a day.

But you know how every time you show a new clip its an opportunity to give your audience

new information?

Every time you switch clips, that can be another opportunity to speak to your viewer.

I'm not just talking about transitions.

Those can work but just doing a zoom blur gets a little old after a while.

But if you want to learn how to do that...we have a video showing you how...if you want

to...it's right there….nooooo pressure...

But here's what I'm getting at, even when you make just a simple cut, that can be another opportunity to take advantage of

You can cut away from this B-Roll at any time, but what if you wait right, until...NOW.

Cutting on action.

Or what about what's in the frame?

You could do a simple match cut.

Even if you have just B-Roll of a person standing there not doing anything,

you can still get a match cut out of it.

It adds another dimension to your film and proves that you thought the whole things through.

It also makes your audience think that you're saying something even deeper.

Maybe these two things are related, share a common thread, or maybe you just think it

looks cool.

If you're in that second group, your secret is safe with me.

You could have someone lead into the next shot with a particular motion.

You could have the camera motion create the transition, you could insinuate the next shot

by getting your characters to look at whatever's coming next,

the list...is...endless.

Bottom line is there's a lot of different ways you can actually accomplish this.

This is a list of terms that you can start out with.

Google search them up and try to implement whichever ones you want to use in your next

video.

Feel free to pause it or take a screenshot to look over later.

standing out requires being creative.

And this point is all about giving points of connection between clips.

We've given some examples, but you can also try and discover your own new ways to give

your cut's new meaning

#2 Focus on Audio

When I say "focus on audio" probably what comes to mind immediately is "get high quality

audio".

That's important, but I'm actually not talking about that for this point.

I mean, once you've gotten your high quality audio, and you've got your main edit down for your video

what else are you doing with audio in general?

A lot of people just find a piece of music, slap it down and say GOOD ENOUGH!

But audio is more than just music or dialogue.

There's ambience, sound fx, risers, foley, there's so many other aspects to giving

life to your video through audio.

If you've got B-roll of a street corner, get some audio from a street corner.

If you've got a skateboarder landing a trick, give a satisfying thud when they land!

It's not that hard to do either.

You can take sounds from real places, or make your own from scratch by getting creative.

For a recent vacation video I made, my wife was running towards the GoPro splashing in

the water.

But the sound quality I got from the GoPro was TERRIBLE!

So I put some water in the bathtub and made my own splashing sounds to use in the video!

Even something as simple as adding location ambience can help your video feel a LOT more

engaging. Take a listen.

(Birds Chirping)

If that's too much then there's always places like Motion Array where you can get

great quality sound effects for a very very low price!

And i've linked to their sound effects section down below.

And finally #3 Get Off The Beaten Path

It's amazing when I hear people ask how to make their videos stand out, because you take a

look at their content, and it almost looks like their actually trying to blend in.

They're using the same transitions, the same fonts, the same color grades, the same

structure, as literally, everyone, else!

No wonder you're not standing out.

You're doing the same thing as everyone else.

Now don't get me wrong, we're all guilty of it. Myself included.

There's so much within us that when we see something that works for someone else, or

something that just looks or feels cool, we want to try and implement that into our own

work.

There's nothing wrong with trying out stuff you've seen done by other people.

But what I am saying is that the only way to stand out is to do something different.

Let me just give a simple way to visualize this idea.

Which text do you see clearer here?

And if you're asking "what do you mean which text?

That's the only text."

Exactly.

There's actually a second piece of text here.

But whether or not you were able to see it, your eyes weren't drawn to it.

And now that you're looking closer at it, you can kind of tell it's there and even read

it.

But compared to the other one in black, you're brain doesn't even want to give it a chance.

You gotta make your videos like that.

Knowing that there's an infinite number of other websites and places and videos your

audience could be focusing instead of yours

Now, let's be clear.

I'm not saying to just do anything weird, crazy, and ridiculous to stand out.

I've watched arthouse films that are like 20 minutes long of just a dude sitting reading

a newspaper.

It's different, but...it's not quite what we're talking about.

Make your videos high quality, engaging, and send a message.

But through that process ask yourself, is there a way that I can break new ground, and

go against the grain to tell my story.

And guys that's it for me, I hope you found this video helpful.
