I don't know where I should stand

Because of someone..

My sister would add some clapping sound, or else, she's dead

Right now, I

I suppose to make the

The video of me teaching korean but,

Now, I have something to do but

This.. I have to say

Last night, my sister promised something

When I say I want to make

A video and she was like

"Yes... okay. I will help you"

"You don't have to worry. I will help you"

"Don't worry, tomorrow I will help you" (chinese)

She said that. So I was like

Really?

"Yes, Don't worry. I will plan everything."

I was like

It will be fun.... Then she said

"But you just need to wake up early"

I was like..I

You...

just need to wake up early

So today I

Wake up early because I was too excited

But she is still sleeping!!

I went to her and

" Yah, wake up"

" You said you want to help me!!"

But

She doesn't reply anything. She just stay like this

Just like this

Even when I called many times

" Yah, wake up, you said you will help me"

She was like this and at that time

I thought that this is so unbelievable

That moment

I thought that, "Oh, I should do this alone"

So, I was here alone

Yeah, I am here alone today beacuse she

Somehow.. Yeah. But then she will be doing all the editing works

So, I wasn't.. I am not that mad

I am not that angry

So, actually today. I am going to be updating

Teaching you guys some basic sentences

But before that, I am going to do some

Updating

When I introduce like for example

Sentence like.. (I like apple)

I introduce that sentence. A lot of people

Not a lot of people

There is this one person who asked me

On how to use "re"

And to explain on that

It's like need a lot of example

If I was to explain, it is too long and I cannot do it on Instagram

I can only upload a video for 1 minute in Instagram

So

I have to do it on Youtube

Eventually, I think it would be good if we reached a time when we didn't really need the phrase 'LGBTQ'

A time when everyone is just a regular person, without the need for labels.

Not Straight, Gay, Lesbian, Transgender etc.,

Just 'Person'

Seigo: That would make everyone equal, wouldn't it

I think if your sexuality or gender could always get just a simple "Oh, how nice!" sort of reaction, that would be good.

Seigo: Those were the 30 questions Bren had to answer!

Seigo: How was it?

I'm tired now

Seigo: You are??

I had a lot of fun!

Seigo: It took a lot of thinking to come up with all of these questions!

Well done! 😂

give us a thumbs up 👍

and comment and subscribe!

Ask us questions!

Seigo: Ask us any questions, like the ones I asked Bren today!

We may be able to use them in a future video! Maybe for Seigo's video.

February Bullet Journal | Plan With Me - Duration: 11:48.

I have returned with a new type of video this time around! Yes, I made a Plan With Me Bullet Journal video.

I've been getting back into pokemon again lately so I thought this months theme should pertain to a pokemon.

And I thought of pink pokemons because Valentine's day has tons of pinks and red.

Sylveon came to mind and honestly, what better pokemon to represent Valentine's Day than Sylveon, right?

So for my video, I've already drawn out the front cover of the month in pencil and here I'm just tracing over it with my sharpie pen.

Originally I wanted it to look like the Sylveon was doing an attack and then the "debris" would be around the page.

But then that didn't really scream February to me so later on, you'll see that I did a field of roses instead.

Calligraphy is not my strong point so of course I needed to trace it out beforehand. I would love to work on this overtime though

Here I am using watercolors to paint in the Sylveon as well as the background.

This part was certainly fun to do because I kind of went into it without a plan, like I said, this was not my original idea.

I tried several different techniques before realizing the easiest way to do this is to dab in a few flowers of different shades.

I really liked how it turned out in the end and it fit in well with the month of February.

Once I finished, I noticed that the page was still a bit empty so I painted in some falling petals around the page

Last month, I did my monthly overview after the tracker but realized that it seemed a bit out of order to do that

So instead, I put it first for this month. I used to vertical layout with one line just because I've finished with school

and I normally don't have a packed schedule so I don't have to worry about fitting lots of things in for a monthly overview.

I thought about what type of theme to do for these pages. It was a little hard since I didn't want to draw multiple Sylveons.

A great idea was to utilize the bows and ribbons on the Sylveon to create boxes and borders instead.

So on this page, I also included a goals box since I found that very helpful. It kept me motivated last month so I was keeping it on this spread.

Following the monthly overview is my tracker. Last month, I did not utilize my expense tracker AT ALL.

So this time around, I decided to break it up in chunks so I can watch my budget.

I kept my monthly tracker the same because it was effective for me. But as you see here, I broke up my monthly expenses

into three categories: Monthly bills, Weekly Groceries, and Monthly Expenses for etc.

I wanted them to each be a little different. The weekly grocery expenses are set up like a percentage bar. The monthly bill box is just a checklist for me.

And the regular expenses are set up as the standard layout. Since I'm not a heavy spender, I don't need to devote the entire page to my expenses.

Last month I didn't do a mood tracker but now I feel like it's vital for me to see how I feel each day to compare it to my every day habit tracker.

So for this month, I was going to do a bush of roses but decided it didn't match up with the previous page.

So what I did instead was draw a basic outline of Sylveon and filled it in with the face that fit my mood for that day

Weekly spreads are my weakest spots because I give up on them easily.

Like I mentioned earlier, I don't do a lot of things in my day to day life so these weekly logs are my meal logs.

I divided drew 7 boxes for the week, starting with Monday and sectioned it off into 5 sections each.

My goal is to eat more throughout the day but less servings for each meal rather than eating them all at once.

By keeping track of my meals, I'm able to see whether or not I overeat or under-eat. It was really helpful last month.

As I mentioned, it was hard for me to continually use this spread so this time I included an end of the week reflection to see how well I did for that week.

And lastly, brain dump. I utilized this a lot last month. Except, I had two sections on two pages. One for youtube and one for just regular brain dump.

Looking back, I barely used up most of the pages and I felt like I was wasting so much space. So for this month, I combined the two into one page.

For this spread, I just added a field of roses around the worlds, nothing too crazy since I wanted to leave more space for my ideas.

And that's the end of my Plan with Me for the month of February! I hope you enjoyed it. See next time~

25 Bookish Facts about Me || Reading Preferences, Embarrassing Confessions, And More!! - Duration: 15:16.

Hello, Internet! It's me again, Rikki Allessandra, your resident reader, writer, and fangirl.

Today, I'm actually going to do the last introductory video of the

literature side of my channel, and that is the 25 bookish facts about me.

I figured that it might be better to have this video posted way before I post book

reviews and whatnot because with this video you'd get an idea of my reading

tastes and as a result never give you an idea on what kind of books you'd expect

in my later videos. Okay just so you know this will not be the last introductory

video that you ever see in my channel because I haven't yet introduced the

fangirl side of me. But don't worry that will be for later. I don't want you

overwhelmed with all these random facts about me. I know that's a very good way

of making you interested. For now let us first focus in the literature side.

Let's get to the 25 bookish facts about me, shall we?

OoOooOooH, that rhymed.

No. 1: if you've watched my BookTube Newbie Tag, you probably know this already, but it's

still worth mentioning, so I'll just say it again. I am a very slow reader, a fact

that I truly truly hate.

No. 2: I am a sucker for young adult literature, a fact that you also probably know already,

if you've watched my AuthorTube Newbie Tag, that is.

Okay, I know there are a lot of people who scorn at young

adult literature and children's literature, saying that "Why do you still

read those books? Don't you want to move on with your life? Adult literature is

so much better.

Okay first of all, you don't get to tell me what I should read

second of all, liking young adult and children's lit is not a phase.

Wow, all of a sudden, I sounded like when I was younger and pretended that I was an emo

and third children's literature and young adult literature are actually a lot

more complicated than you think, especially if you consider their

historical developments as a genre.

For example, did you know that young adult only came to be

because a psychologist published a book entitled "Adolescence" in 1905,

and people started to realised, "Oh yeah! Adolescents exist! We should write something for them!"

It's also somewhat the same case for children's literature though as a genre it came first before young adult.

The discourse on power and identity politics in children's

literature and young adult literature is also very very intriguing.

Basically, young adult and children's lit are a lot richer than you give them credit for.

and I am not ashamed to like them.

No. 3: while we're in a discussion

of genres, I have to admit that I'm a little bit iffy with New Adult. I think

the primary reason for this is that it's sprung out of nowhere for me. Not that it's

a bad thing. I suppose people in the past also

thought the children's lit and YA also sprang out of nowhere

so I guess New Adult as a genre still has a lot of room for scholarship and

discourse.

No. four: I'm an easily distracted reader, so I can't read

outside where they're people talking, I can't snack while I'm reading because

I'll get focused on the snacking part, and I can't even listen to some music

Should I want to listen to music, I usually pick classical, but that doesn't

include instrumental versions of popular songs because even without lyrics I

still end up singing!

Sometimes even pretending that I'm in a concert, but I digress.

No. five: however, that doesn't stop me from bringing books wherever I go.

Who knows, an apocalypse might happen, making the entire world silent,

and I DON'T HAVE A BOOK WITH ME?!?!?!?!

WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!!!!

No. 6: I read strictly print books.

I don't like reading eBooks, or listening to audiobooks. This is mostly because of

fact #4, the fact that I'm an easily distracted

reader, so every time I try to listen to an audiobook, I end up thinking about

something else instead. As for the ebooks aside from the fact

that I get distracted easily, they also hurt my eyes, and as a result I

end up skimming the books instead. So yeah I'm not really a big fan of those

two. But I do understand their significance though: eBooks because

they're cheaper and very practical because

technically you can bring it wherever you go and audiobooks because there are

people who don't really have much time to actually sit down and read a book and

those people who are blind who still want to experience reading books so I

get it. They're just not for me number seven speaking of great books I

love hardbound books I actually prefer them you can't see

that in my shelf because they're usually paper maps but the only reason why I buy

paper maps is because they're hella cheaper but when I have money to spare

or when it's my birthday I usually buy hard phone books number eight

I actually prefer reading contemporary which is something that I never actually

noticed before until I look at my shelves and realize just how many

contemporary novels I have sure I also have a lot of science fiction and

fantasy as you can see in this shell but the thing is every time I'm in a book

store I'm more drawn to go to the contemporary side it's like it's calling

to me number nine my ultimate favorite Roman stroke is the enemies to France

the lovers throne I could read books with that trope until the end of time

number ten on the other end of the line my most hated Romans trope is the love

triangle even worse if it's the kind of love triangle where the main love

interest is this stereotypical wannabe James Dean with an iron inducing

rebellious attitude and unrealistic buff body and the other love interest is the

best friend who's always been with the main girl for as long as anyone can

remember not to mention that the main journalist in the sights of his home oh

I just want that kind of love triangle to die number eleven I judge a book by

its cover and that just makes cover actually I also judge it by its book

smell like the poverty and basically anything is static related don't you

dare judge me you know you do it don't act so saintly yes that's not so

good number twelve I hate double edged pages where is it nickel page oh just

whatever Hey them no offense to anyone actually likes

nickel inch pages number 13 MOOC hoarding is my crime all these books are

actually unread except maybe first select few and I still have a lot more

back home in Cebu oh another right I wanna roll I bought all these so long

ago way before YouTube which I totally regret because how I started booktube

earlier I would have had a lot of book haul videos but certain good number of

unread books that I have right now I actually have to force myself not to buy

anything new until I finished the majority of these that might take

forever to be honest number fourteen I'm very fascinated with classics as you can

see in my shelf I haven't ripped everything yet because

the fascination only started what like a year ago plus it's been established that

I'm a slow reader so yeah I need some time number 15

speaking of classics I'm actually very picky when it comes to buying them I

always speak either penguin classics or Oxford classics this is because for me

these are the two editions that I found to have the most expensive and most

impressive critical notes in critical introductions here is a tip that is

super important it's super underrated when it comes to reading classics

critical notes and introductions are very very very helpful I can't stress

that enough sure you could still enjoy the classics

without the critical notes I guess but trust me you'll appreciate them more

once you read the critical notes and introductions this is because critical

notes and introduction provide you with some information that might affect how

you read them an example for this is the definition change there are words that

we use right now that have different definitions back in the past and the

critical notes will notify you of that for example did you know that back then

peculiar means particular and not weird I didn't either until I read the

critical notes of course that affected how I read the book another example and

this is the more important one it's the societal / political context

kind of information graphic novels often have an integral element in their plot

this usually inspired society at their time and were often

than not we as 21st century readers would miss that integral element and its

significance for example in Pride and Prejudice reading it right now we would

all be so confused as to why all the women in this book are so obsessed with

getting married because for us marriage is not that all-important okay well I

guess it's the list but it's definitely not any more first priority but part of

women in the Regency era England getting married is their only option to survive

life they couldn't work they couldn't get an education unless they were Noble

so yeah basically if they don't marry a rich man

they were doomed to life from poverty until they die that was basically how

their society worked at the time the notes in the critical introduction will

tell you that and after knowing that background you'd realize just how strong

the conflict in this novel is the strengthening your appreciation for the

novel so yes folks critical notes introductions are very crucial when it

comes to reading classics so next time you want to buy a plastic consider

buying an Edition that has notes in introduction is 16 even though I pick

editions that have critical notes in reduction in it that is not to say that

I don't get tempted to buy pretty editions I still do

for collection purposes but when I do buy pretty editions I always make sure

that either a I have read the classic already be I have another copy that has

critical notes an introduction in it or see I will get another copy that has

critical notes in reduction in it basically they end up with multiple

copies of classics no regrets whatsoever number 17 I cover all my books I'm not

sure if you have it in your country but here in the Philippines we have this

thing called the plastic cover and I use that to cover my book in order to

protect them see I measure if you get to see the

plastic cover really because the Sun makes it all shiny

there I do have to all have my books the only books I don't cover are those hard

bunk books that have no jacket like this big ass pretty William Shakespeare

collection number 18 I don't DNF books I just can't I feel

guilty even just considering doing it I mean it's because I paid money to buy it

so I might as well read it or else I'll feel like I just wasted that money when

I do put down a book because losing interest while reading is inevitable I

always tell myself to pick it up someday like I always tell myself that I'm just

not interested now but someday I might be number 19 I really use bookmarks when

I'm reading I don't use things like receipts fence or any scrap paper I

really use those things that are marketed as bookmarks the obsession was

a lot worse when I just started out reading because I got this weird idea of

having a different bookmark for book I don't know why thank God that stopped

but still I have a lot of bookmarks right now I have this typical bookmark I

also have this magnetic one and this other magnetic one that has ribbon on it

that makes it look like a Bible and I even have this weird bookmark that has

garter like I said I have a lot of bookmarks number 20

speaking of bookmarks I don't like do gearing my book or even just saying

someone felt irritable every time I catch someone doing this I could feel my

soul shattering 21 when I was younger at the peak of my heart putter obsession I

used to imagine that I was a character in the heart butter world things in me

and Harry's in love with me that's such an embarrassing confession please don't

judge me number 22 you would think that I'm the

kind of girl who writes fan fictions because of fact number 20 but actually

I'm not I have nothing against fan fiction though I'd be lying if I say

that I don't enjoy reading some of them and the discourse about it was also very

interesting but for some reason and right in maybe it's because I always

tell myself to stop the cannon no matter how much I hate it so yeah I can't make

myself write it even if I have a lot of alternate realities in my hand and

that's really fascinating because remember when I told you how I imagined

I was a girl named Cindy in the higher faster world in the tyre putters in love

with me yeah I don't want to write it because I wanted JK Rowling to make it a

Canon I know I don't get it either I don't know where I thought that logic

was going man younger me was such a weird girl

number 23 I'm not as active in Goodreads a small sweeteners arm for some reason I

just don't get the mechanics of good beans so the first time I made a

Goodreads account it was very inactive and I made another

one just a few months ago after I deleted the first one and still I'm an

active I'm trying to be active this time around so if you have tips on how to do

that comment down below cuz I could use some number 24 I actually liked the idea

of taking up a master's degree in literary studies someday I know my

family wants me to take a blow but I would like to study literary studies in

the future but I don't think I'd want to take it up in Egypt Lee after

integration because I kind of need a breather just so sick of studying man

but you know a few years down the road I hope a number 25 but even though I'm

interested in literary studies I will lovely hate relationship with critical

theory critical theory is basically problematizing literature the different

approaches and studying literature that's grossly oversimplifying the

definition but that's basically the gist of it and I have a weird relationship

with it I'm the one hand I'm so eager to learn about the different critical

approaches but on the other I just don't want to face them anymore I think it's

mostly because critical theory is not an easy read like they're really

interesting but it takes some times to finish reading it

and even longer just understand it it also doesn't help the 3d critical theory

is one thing but discussing it's another so yeah

critical theory is a landmine but I do hope someday I'll be able to find a way

to trap that said landmine so that's all that for you today thank you so much for

watching this video and if you liked it please give it a thumbs up and subscribe

to my channel I post at least once a week on a Thursday or whatever day it is

in your country but in the future I'm hoping to post at least twice a week a

reading related video on Thursday and a writing related video on a weekend and a

fandom related video on a Tuesday jumper from fascinator I'm too ambitious I just

switch my school schedule would lighten up for a while so that I could find a

time to actually script prepare film and edit my videos but yeah I don't see that

happening anytime soon but someday if you have something to say about the fact

that I just said hopefully it's positive just comment down below you can even

post your own bookish facts about yourself that would be so interesting
