Youtube daily How to May 6 2018

Have you booked a city break abroad or you're relocating to a new city in a different country?

Are you nervous about catching that bus from the airport, wary of getting stung by taxi

drivers or scared of taking a bus from the city centre and ending up in the arse end

of nowhere.

Well there's really no need because today I am going to share with you my 10 tips on

how to master public transport in a new city.

Ahoj from Prague, I'm Paul Colto and this behemoth of flatulence is called Jozin.

When Ifirst saw a tram timetable at a tram stop in Prague it was sobering to see a list

of place names in a language I didn't have the first idea of how to speak.

But after 2 or 3 days I realised that it was actually quite simple, that everything seemed

to arrive on time and in terms of me getting my bearings in that new city it was perhaps

one of the most important things.

Now, 5 years on, it's probably one of my most favourite things to do, just to sit back on

public transport with my headphones on, look through the window and watch the city do its

thing.

So I hope these tips will help to create a mindset that will enable you to embrace public

transport in your new city as the quickest, cheapest and most authentic way to navigate

the city alongside the locals.

So my first tip is to download Uber or one of its alternatives and save the phone number

of 2 or 3 reputable taxi companies in that city just to have as an insurance policy in

case everything goes tits up.

My second tip is mainly aimed towards people who won't have data or on their mobile phone

when they arrive in that new city and that is to download the google map offline of that

city to your mobile phone again as a kind of insurance policy so if you do get a little

bit lost at least you'll know, kind of where you are!

My 3rd tip is another thing you can do before you leave and that's to research and download

the most popular public transport app in that city.

These are great because they help you to avoid queues at metro stations and faffing about

with change at ticket machines.

Earlier this year I was in Vienna and on my way there I downloaded the public transport

app there and it was fantastic I was able to buy single tickets, 24 hour tickets even

weekly tickets on that application.

My 4th tip mind seem a bit weird but clear a morning in your schedule to experiment.

Find a simple route from A to B in the city and maybe take a friend and monitor your progress

a little bit on your mobile as you go along.

This just helps you to familiarise yourself a little bit with the public transport system

in that city.

My 5th tip is don't panic if it all goes wrong!

Just call that taxi number that you stored in your mobile phone, swallow your pride and

within 48 hours you'll be laughing about it in the pub anyway.

My 6th tip is that after a week or so you're going to know if the public transport system

in that city is going to be your best friend and if it is I would recommend buying the

most economically wise ticket.

For example, here in beautiful Prague if you buy an annual ticket it works out to 10 crowns

a day for unlimited use of all metro, bus and tram services.

That's the equivalent of about 30 English pence or 25 European cents or something similar

in dollars.

My 7th tip is to carefully observe the etiquette on the public transport system in that city

so for example, giving up your seat to an elderly person or to a pregnant woman and

try not to make too many loud phone calls.

"ALL RIGHT MATE!

YEAH, JUST ON A STAG DO IN PRAGUE!

WAAAA!"

And also just keep an eye on the escalators so if everyone seems to be standing on one

side that's normally because the other side is for people who are in a bit of a rush to

get through more quickly so don't stand in their way.

My 8th tip is to be careful of bogus ticket inspectors.

Ask to see their I.D if you're in doubt and if your instinct says that there's something

strange going on tell them that you want to go to the nearest police station.

My 9th tip is to be wary of pickpockets.

Often on a crowded tram you may have to stand and put your hands up to hold on to handlebars

or poles - at this point your pockets are vulnerable.

And at busy interchanges or stations be very careful when you're getting on and off public

transport.

I personally just put my hands on both my pockets to try and ensure the safety of my

phone and my wallet.

And my 10th and final tip is for all you hardcore party-goers out there and its to learn about

the night service and save that information into your phone.

Try to enjoy the public transport in your new city because its a great way to see the

city through the window and to get in tune with the rhythm and the heartbeat of that

city by watching the locals go about their everyday lives.

Mastering public transport in a new city is great as it opens the city up for you, you'll

feel kind of proud that you've mastered it and you'll start listening to music, sitting

back and relaxing a bit more and its another small but significant step on being able to

call that new city your new home.

TRIATHLON SWIMMING technique: the step by step process to change your TRIATHLON SWIM - Duration: 6:40.

- Morning, Trainiacs.

I am late, very late.

You know you screwed up in the lane

when you're the last person showing up.

After that swim, we're gonna talk about

how to incorporate a lot of these things

that I'm talking about with the swimming.

Gotta go. (upbeat music)

So, no orange kick boards left.

That's what happens when you're late like this.

Well, if you like 50's, that was the set for you.

3200 meters and the longest continuous stretch

was a one 100, no wait, I did two 300 ...

What am I ...

I just say things, guys.

I don't really know.

Alright, so on the topic of saying things,

I say a lot of things.

If you did a video everyday,

you would say a lot of things, too,

especially with swimming, it being so technique based,

I tell ya things like, "Oh yeah, set your catch,

body roll, turn your arms over quicker,

start your stroke quicker."

All these things they're probably, you know what,

they might get jumbled in your head and my pal,

Nicole Walker, who you haven't seen in a little while,

she came over for a visit yesterday

and she said something and I was like,

"Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, I gotta talk about that."

Let's do that.

Back from when I was about 12 until about 15-16,

I golfed a ton on one of the local country club teams,

never very good, but a 10 handicap,

I'm sure you all were wondering.

I did the biggest jock sports.

As you can tell, I'm a really hyper analytical guy,

so I was always analyzing my golf swing

and I was changing it constantly,

but fortunately because I was hitting

like 160 balls a day on the range

and playing at least 18 holes,

I was able to ingrain a lot of those changes very quickly.

Fast forward to today and when I go golfing,

I'm anywhere from shooting like an 80 to 130,

because there's so many hitchy things

and it's all those things that I used to work on as a kid.

It's not smooth anymore.

What Nicole said to me yesterday about swimming

is that she has been swimming with a youth team

and the coach would give her one thing to work on

and as she was improving he'd say,

"This is your one thing to work on

and you do it for three weeks."

And she said that that was perfect,

because after three weeks,

finally it started feeling natural if it was like,

cup your hand a little bit so you can grab water,

all of a sudden, she didn't even have to think about it

at the end of those three weeks.

And I thought it would be important

to mention that to all of you,

because I give you so many things to think about

that if you're just constantly,

"I gotta think about this and this

and this and this and this."

You're gonna forget about the just go and do it,

so if you are going to look at things like technique

with running or swimming or cycling, just pick one thing

and then work on it for three, four weeks

until it feels natural and then move on to the next thing.

It might feel like you're progressing slower

because you're doing less, but you're gonna be able

to embody that change and really hone in

on having good technique for a long time.

That felt good.

That felt like valuable information there.

You know what?

I'm gonna go celebrate with a little bit of the step mill.

15 minutes, 45 floors, apparently that

really helped with the Achilles

and the calf strengthening that I'm working on right now.

Plus, I'm gonna have an awesome looking booty.

Now, check out this morning's swim.

It was a dandy.

(splash)

(groaning in pain)

Oh, hello there.

Just lying down on a medicine ball, no big deal.

So yeah, there is really no shortcuts,

especially when it comes to swimming.

In biking, we can do some intervals,

we can really build up a lot of endurance.

In running, we can work on our form

and that adjusts fairly quickly,

but in swimming (groans) there's a reason

that kids swim 14 times a week, 9000 meters a day.

It's so that they can very quickly get those repetitions in

and then when they get a stroke correction

because they're doing so many repetitions

in the matter of a week or two weeks,

they're ingraining that motion into their body

and their muscle memory really quickly

instead of for us, age groupers who are

swimming three, four times a week at best,

it's gonna take awhile.

But I highly recommend, if you're not even at the point yet

that you can swim 400 meters continuously

without feeling like you're out of breath,

you should go to TriathlonTaren.com/swimdrillprogram.

If you go there and you're not yet at that point,

that program totally free, and that's like a shortcut,

because then you've got such big inefficiencies

that we can really fix some things quickly,

like (snaps) boom, quick, boom, let's go, yeah, boom.

That's a lot of boom.

So, thank you for watching.

7 Near-Universal Troubleshooting Steps for Software - How to troubleshoot common issues - Duration: 5:10.

Things don't always go to plan and software is no exception to that rule.

Sometimes a program will run slowly, be glitchy or just not start at all for no apparent reason.

At that point, many people either give up or call someone who they know can help fix

their problem.

That's why over the next few months I am planning to put out a series of videos, teaching

you how to troubleshoot various things about your PC.

Today I'm here to give you steps that you can take to fix a program that is misbehaving

all by yourself.

So, let's check it out.

Here's what our problem is: we have a piece of software that doesn't really work properly.

Maybe it's a game that's running slowly or maybe it's just microsoft office not

letting you print a document.

Whatever it is, most of these methods should apply.

They are what I always try first when something doesn't work or when someone asks for a

bit of help.

Finally, we are assuming that something is genuinely wrong with the software and that

it isn't just you trying to do something that the program isn't capable of.

Now, without further addue, let's dig in.

First up: turn it off and back on again.

Yes, I know, you hear it all the time and it has become a bit of a running joke, but

it does genuinely work.

Sometimes there's just a bug in the code, or something has gotten caught up somewhere

in the execution.

In those cases, a simple restart of the program should do the trick.

I have explained before in another video why that is and if you are curious, you can click

the card in the top right corner of the screen to check that out.

Coming in at number two, we have digging through the settings.

Take some time to look at the options that the program gives you and make sure that nothing

is out of whack.

If you can't find what's wrong or if you are unsure whether something has been changed

there, a lot of software creators give you an option to reset to default settings, which

you should do if you think that there might be problems in there.

Also, if you happen to be troubleshooting a steam game, you might want to check the

integrity of the game cache from the steam game local files options.

Thirdly, check your antivirus.

This doesn't apply to all pieces of software, but if you have a new program and it's acting

weird, it might be the case that your antivirus is seeing it, at least part of it as a threat

and blocking it from working properly.

So, try turning your antivirus protection off for a few minutes and running the program

like that to see if it fixes the issue.

If this works, then you need to go into your virus protection software and add the folder

where your piece of misbehaving software is to the list of exceptions

Fourth, we have something very similar.

This time around, it's the windows firewall (or the firewall on your operating system

of choice).

The firewall is there to protect you and your PC from network threats.

In doing this, it sometimes messes with an application's ability to properly send and

receive all of the data it needs in time from the internet.

So, if your glitched-out software uses the internet in any way, add it to the firewall

exception list by going into your firewall software settings.

Fifth, turn it off and back on again, but on a bigger scale.

This time I mean your PC.

Just restart it.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but it's so simple that it's just worth

trying.

Again, the full explanation for why this sometimes is effective is in my other video.

Sixth on the list is another thing that is really undervalued.

This time, it's Googling your problem.

If you are getting an error message, put that into Google, if not just type in a few keywords

that describe what's going on and see what it can come up with.

The internet is a really amazing resource and you'd be surprised at how many people

are having the exact same problem that you are having and are willing to share how they

solved it.

Now, just because a fix worked for them, it doesn't mean that it will also work for

you, sometimes different issues can cause the same result, however, it's definitely

worth trying.

And now, last but not least, if you have tried all of the above things and none of them have

worked, it's time to reinstall the software.

Sometimes, something gets corrupted in the installation files, or an app just fails to

install properly and the issues caused by that show up at the most random times possible.

So, provided that you've tried the other 6 elements on the list, it's time to uninstall

and reinstall the program.

Also, if you still have the installer for your software, it's worth running it.

Some installers have an option to try to repair the program, which sometimes works.

And that's about it.

Hopefully this helps you fix your problems and if you have any other tips for people

who are running into trouble with their software, feel free to leave them down in the comments

and the best one will be pinned to the top.

So, I really do hope you enjoyed this video and if you want to see more you can click

on the right to watch my latest video or on the left to watch a random video or just click

the round channel icon in the middle to subscribe.

And as always, this has been vlad from goodsauce tech, and i'll catch you in the next one.

Take care, bye bye!

Law of Karma | Past Life | Destiny | Why Bad Things Happen To Good People | Part 5 - Duration: 12:30.

let's take a look at the other side of this proposition good people are we

really good people if we were we would have been in the kingdom of God we would

have been God realized the fact that we are in the material realm means that we

are not so good as yet I don't want to say bad otherwise somebody will be hurt

so you have to not change the statement why do good things happen to not-so-good

people isn't the answer obvious to make us truly good in other words the goal of

it is so that we should truly become godlike truly become like God become

perfect as he is perfect you have to have this understanding and while we are

in the material realm there is the law of karma that is applicable the law of

karma states karma pradhana Vishwa career aha Georgia Zacharias oh--this of

fallujah ha the Bible says exactly the same thing as you sow that shall you

also reap but again why Kushner stumbled was that he's got one lifetime's

perspective and in one lifetime then the law of karma becomes inexplicable if a

child is born blind and the child questions what did I do to be born blind

what answer will you give to the poor blind child if you say it was the wish

of God then God is very unfair this person is born with 6x5 vision and

I'm on blind and we are just beginning our existence this is gross partiality

the only logical sensible answer is that this is karma has carried forward from

past lives you see all the Karma's that we have done not in one life in endless

past life tires God keeps an account God alone can keep that account in fact then

the eye garson gives it as proof of God without him there can be no law of karma

it's the all-knowing you can keep such an amazing account that is called the

Sun jet Sun shit karma is the accumulated Karma's of our past

lifetimes - what we've already burned out so every

time when God sends us into the world to continue our journey he takes one

portion from the sonship and gives it this portion you have to bear in this

lifetime so the portion of of the accumulated which is tied to us in this

lifetime that becomes our product product is the destiny with which we are

born there is an element of destiny in everybody's life nobody can deny it you

did not choose the place where you would be born God chose it you did not choose

that intellect etc God chose it and send you down with it though the destiny is

determined at every moment we have with which we can make choices

understand it that way when you play cards the hand that you're dealt with is

determined you cannot say no no I don't want these cards I want those cards you

have to play with these cards but how you play is not determined a bad player

can lose with a good hand a good player can win with a bad hand this allows for

bridge tourneys to take place otherwise it could be a throw of dice

similarly we all have this free will and the Karma that we do with our free will

is called cream on karma karma naam sunset Athena she wolde he not happy he

Swatantra crea mari mike rotolo hitomi de your product and sunset is fixed but

crea man is not fixed so you can slowly slowly change the course of your life if

it is written in your destiny that you will get that one million dollar lottery

you will get it that's destiny but further having won it you could blow it

up in a year's time or you could multiply it to 1 billion that would be

your independent effort stemming from your free will so we are under the bond

of this karma and how do you get rid of this whole account only then you could

be liberated when it's all burnt away how do you burn it away something that

is infinite and extent it's very difficult

to deplete it because from infinity if you minus 100 you are still left with

infinity and if you - a million it is still infinity you - a trillion it is

still infinity how to exhaust our son shit Karma's who knows how much is there

at the stockpile and alongside with that we are making more Karma's so in one

side we are doing - on the other side we are doing + will it ever get exhausted

Lord Krishna in the bhagavad-gita he explains he says look Archer there is

justice there is injustice in the eye and the eye you need the third thing and

that is Kripa Greece if I wish to my grace I will burn that whole part of

your Karma's by grace so that grace even in the world there is the rule of grace

in law you know this is the law in India and I have checked up it's also the law

in USA if the Supreme Court declares the death verdict sentences to death by

hanging the Supreme Court is the ultimate now there is no recourse but

the law says there is one chance that convict can still appeal to the

president for mercy if the president chooses by Mercy he can forgive but the

president also is not allowed to be whimsical net mercy there is a law there

if this this condition is met then we shall

bestow mercy similarly God says by the law of karma you will never get out of

it you will need mercy or grease or Kripa

but the grace of God is not a whimsical act oh I like this guy's nose let me

grace him I don't like her eyes forget it

God says my mercy also has rules and the rule for bestowing mercy is you need to

fulfil my condition what is the condition you have to surrender to me so

he concludes the bhagavad-gita sarva-dharman parityajya mamekam

sharanam vraja' I will give up all varieties of religiosity in just

surrendered to the Lord sarva-papebhyo bookshare you shall be my future I shall

burn away all your past beads and liberate you from Maya have no fear

so what we need to do is not blame God not blame circumstances not find fault

why are bad things happening to me there is something different that we need to

do every time we have to look inside and think how do I need to improve that will

change everything you have to believe it if you can understand you will believe

it and then your focus will be to improve yourself as somebody said when I

was a teenager I dreamt of changing the world

but as I grew into my early 20s I thought if I can change my country to be

enough and then after marriage I realized if I can change my family I

will be a hero but in my old age I think if I tried to change myself that would

have been the best you know that change has to begin from within so have faith

in God and his world good things are happening first of all you need to

change is your attitude

Sadhguru - GRACE the basis of everything, How to TALK about it ? - Duration: 13:20.

Questioner: Namaskaram Sadhguru.

I have a question about grace.

I'm not sure exactly how to put it, but Sadhguru: About what?

Questioner: Grace… grace.

Sadhguru: Grace.

Questioner: Yes.

To me it seems to be a sort of an accidental thing.

In the sense, it comes and goes according to I don't know what really.

I seem to lose it very easily once it's there.

I wondered if you could talk a little bit about grace

and how it works or Like, here in the ashram it's very easy

to access or to feel it, but once you go outside it's quite difficult

to be connected to that energy or the grace.

If you could talk something about that.

Thank you.

Sadhguru: You're asking me to talk about the fragrance of this flower

how to do that (Laughs)?

Only if you have a sensitive nose (Gestures smelling) – fantastic,

otherwise somebody has got their nose stuffy today (Gestures someone else to smell it)

– means nothing.

So grace means nothing to a whole lot of people.

They don't even It's not that you have to think about it

or you have to talk about it, it is just that if you're too full of yourself

only if you're too full of yourself you can be unconscious of grace.

In the sense, you don't even have to go to school and

know about planets and solar system and galaxies and stuff,

just as a human being if you look up, you don't know where this begins, where

this ends.

In the middle of nowhere, here you are sitting on a planet spinning

and see, you're fine.

Definitely not your doing, isn't it?

Definitely you can't do this.

Whatever is holding all this up, one title for it – grace.

Now, whether you're available to it or not is the question.

When we say Grace, we are not looking at a certain kind.

We're looking at that which is the basis of everything,

because you do not know how this solar system is held in place,

you do not know how the whole universe is held in place,

you do not even know how you happened, really.

How so many cells are staying together and make your life happen –

you don't really know.

You have explanations and explanations, but you don't know.

If you knew, you would create one right now.

If you knew exactly how, we would make it, isn't it?

So when there is so much that you do not know, everything is still happening great,

obviously it's not an accident.

So whatever is making all this happen – that energy,

that force we call it grace.

But now the question is about making yourself available.

If you have a stuffy nose, the flower means nothing to you.

If you're blind, light means nothing to you.

If you're insensitive, nothing means anything to you.

So it is a question of becoming sensitive.

Most people are ego-sensitive, they're not life sensitive.

Right now you have to be cautious about what to say and what not to say to a whole lot

of people because they're horribly ego-sensitive;

for everything they will crash within themselves.

First of all, you create one illusion,

then you create another illusion of it falling and rising;

it's a very bad game.

You must be disillusioned soon.

If you're truly disillusioned, absolutely, you will always be available to grace.

If you have no illusions of your own, you will wonder about everything.

How can you not wonder about everything, about your very existence?

If you have no conclusions in your mind about anything,

simply here, you will be soaked in Grace.

Even now you are, but you cannot enjoy it unless you're conscious,

that's all.

It will not work for you because you're not conscious.

It is working for you, but still you cannot fully benefit from that.

See, it is a fact, a medically established fact,

if two people eat the same food, both of them will not get the same nourishment.

Exactly same food two people eat, they will not get the same level of nourishment

because it depends on your ability to draw sustenance from that.

So to develop this capability All of us are in grace,

but to develop the capability to draw sustenance from that

so that this life becomes an expression of that grace.

See You know, if you have smelled this flower

(Gestures) – this is typical to southern India –

phenomenally fragrant – you think our garden department is pouring

fragrance at the roots?

No, they're putting filth, believe me.

Yes Even if you put filth,

see how fantastic it became because that's its nature.

Because it does that, we're planting the tree, nurturing it, taking care of it,

everybody's concerned how it is growing.

Suppose it was giving out a smell that was unpleasant to you,

suppose it just took the filth and threw out the filth through the flower

no, we would have taken it out, isn't it?

So, grace brings many benefits.

Once you're exuding grace, everybody wants to nurture it,

everybody wants to promote it, everybody wants to be a part of it because

you're exuding grace.

Now, the question is not at all about whether you're in grace or not.

You are, otherwise you cannot exist.

The question is only about are you exuding Grace or

are you transforming in… this into something nasty and letting it out on everybody?

Let me tell you a very well-known story in India.

It's a folklore, just about everybody in the country (Laughs)

should know this story probably.

There was a sage living in a jungle, blind of vision – he has no vision,

simply sitting in one place.

Rarely people pass this way.

When they pass this way they give him something and he lives by that

no vision.

One day it so happened the king and his retinue of soldiers and ministers, whatever,

they all went out hunting.

In the hunt, in chasing a deer, a spotted deer,

they lost their way and the king got lost, separated from the group,

because, you know, the king has the… fastest horse (Laughs).

The best one he rides, so he went away ahead of them and got lost.

They were all searching, searching, they all got lost.

And then the soldier came and asked the sage, "Did you see the king?"

He said, "No."

Then a commander came and asked, "Did you see?"

He said, "No."

Then the minister came and asked, "Did you see?"

"No."

Then the king himself came there, then the blind sage immediately recognized

he's the king, "Oh, your people have been looking for you.

First… your soldier came, then your commander came, then your minister came."

The king observed and saw that the person was blind and then he asked,

"Oh, Divine being, how do you know that first it was a soldier, then the commander,

then the minister?"

The sage said, "Well, the first one who came said, 'Hey, blind one!

Did you see our king coming here?

Did you…

Did anybody come this way?'"

So I knew he must be your soldier.

The second one spoke with authority but without respect,

I knew he must be one of your officers.

The third one, the minister came, he spoke with great respect so I thought he

must be your minister.

Now you came, now you touch my feet and… refer to me as the Divine one

you must be the king."

(Laughs) Whether you eat food or breathe or drink water,

anything – it is Grace, otherwise, how (Laughs)?

Two parts of hydrogen and one part of oxygen becomes life-making water –

this is Grace.

Okay, you can give it an explanation, but you don't know why this should happen,

isn't it?

All that is happening is grace.

Now you drink this or you eat this or you breathe this,

will you also exude grace?

Because you conceive… you… you consumed Grace,

you must also conceive grace and exude grace, isn't it?

But unfortunately people take in fantastic things into themselves,

turn it into nasty nonsense and lets it out.

But look at the tree – you give it filth, it gives out fragrance.

It's time If you learn the way of the tree,

if you learn the way of the rock, you will exude grace.

So the question is not whether you're in grace or not –

definitely every creature is in grace – are you capable of exuding the grace that

you consume?

That's the question.

[ROS In 5 Minutes] 003 - How to create a ROS Publisher - Duration: 5:05.

Hi my name is Ruben Alvis I'm from Rrobotic Ignite Academy and today you

are going to see how to create our ROS Publisher for that you're going to use

this platform so let's launch here a course ROS Basics in Five Days to

have the ROS environment running after launch the course we just have to

wait some minutes in yeah everything will be right to use let's wait until

the web show loads and okay in order to create a publisher

we need a package so let's create here a package in the previous video we

have shown how to create a ROS package so if you need more details

just take a look on the other video so let's create here a package called

tutorial and tutorial and depends on rospy here already on the source

folder let's create a file new file let's call publisher it's a Python file

let's open it and since is a Python file and let me change in here to change the

font size and so you can see it better okay in this case is a python file so usr/

bin/env python to create a publisher we first need rospy in this

case import rospy and we are going to publish a String messages so from

std_msgs.msg import String and since it's a Python package we first

have to initialize our node rospy.init_node since it's a ROSNOde and call it

tutorial and we need a publisher equals rospy.Publisher we have to say the

the name of the topic in this case let's say the topic is going to be say_hello and the

type of the message published it is going to be a String and let's put

this queue_size = 1 so we have to publish in a certain frequency so we

have to define a variable called rate and let's say we are going to

publish three messages per second is for example so while rospy is running

while ROS is running so while not rospy.is_shutdown we publish

our message publisher publish let's publish Hey! and let's wait and for example

this sleep controls the frequency in which our message is published in this case

going to publish three messages per second so easy. Now let's to run this

code and see how it goes if you for example we just rosnode list we will

see here we have a four nodes we don't have a node still we still don't have a

node called tutorial when we run our node we will see this node and

rostopic list we don't have any topic called say_hello if you see

rostopic list here we have a big list but not

the topic /say_hello okay so let's just run our code so rosrun the

tutorial package the name of our file is publisher so publisher and okay let's

run and let me see tutorials/src folder okay our file is not executable

executable yes so let's make it executable and now let's run our

node and yeah It should be running already if we see here now the list of

node now have here six and we have here the node if we check the topics

we now can see the say_ hello probably yeah it's in here now to see

this the message being published by this node

we just rostopic echo and the name of the topic here you

have it the "Hey!" message is being published. So easy, no? We just need to specify a

publisher the frequency in which the message is going to be published and

publish the message I hope you guys enjoyed the video if you liked it don't

forget to subscribe our channel give us a thumbs up and press the bell for a new

Traveling the Philippines - How to prepare your trip? - Duration: 6:07.

Hey guys, I'm Lan, living in Ho Chi Minh City.

Me and my friend, Anh had a memorable vacation in Philippines.

We spent 10 days in Palawan, Sagada and Manila.

I hope our story will be useful if you're planning to visit this beautiful country

or at least it sounds interesting to you. But firstly I'd like to share you guys a

few things I should prepare before the trip.

The currency used there is Philippines pesos. 1 USD is approximately 52 pesos.

I think should make a budget for your daily needs and exchange enough cash do that I

list down here some basic expenses that you may want to prefer

A basis meal costs around 100 to 150 pesos. I found this price in most of cafes and small restaurants.

Drinking bottled water price's between 20 to 40 pesos for a bottle,

as you can see here.

Motorbike rental is between 450 - 700P a day while gas is about 55P/liter.

If you wanna book tours, you should include the tour fee in your budget plus an environmental fee.

The price can be easily found in the Internet

For example this is tour and environmental fee in El Nido.

If you wanna go for 2 or more tours, you just have to pay the environmental fee once.

Just keep the invoice in case they ask you for this fee you can submit the invoice.

Those are some basic expenses. In additional, you will need more money for

public transportation, shopping, extra meals, etc.

So please build your budget carefully and

remember to bring a Visa or MasterCard. Even though sometimes it's not easy to find an ATM.

El Nido is more expensive than other places.

Managing time and expense is very important.

Especially when you travel with a tight budget or your vacation isn't too long.

In this case a good itinerary would help.

You can input time to go, where to go and also write notes.

For online booking, it'd be better if we print out our flight or bus tickets

because if there is something accidentally happens to our phones or emails,

we still have a copy of the tickets.

You should do the same things with maps .

Traffic in Manila is like wars. Using LRT or MRT is a good choice.

I printed out the LRT & MRT route maps, as well as the airport terminal maps.

If it's possible, you should also print the tourist maps of the destination you wanna go

Standing in front of amazing islands, I believe everyone wants to take photos.

A DSLR or mirrorless camera would give stunning pictures.

But to a non-professional like me

I can't use it all power. Plus, I don't wanna spend most of the time to protect

and carry a heavy camera.

So, I chose an action camera. Tiny size, wide angle, long battery life and

with the water resistant case, it's just perfect for snorkeling

My combination is an action camera for landscape photos and videos.

And a smartphone camera for selfie with friends or point-and-shoot photos.

I managed my bags under 7 kilograms for two reasons.

First, no need to check-in baggage.

I flight with Asia and according to their policy, I can

carry on my baggage if the total weight is not over 7 kilograms.

Skipping this check-in baggage saved a lot of time.

I didn't need to wait for my bags to be checked in

or wait to claim them back when I've arrived.

Save a lot of money as well.

The other reason is that I needed to walk a lot. Heavy bags would have been a big problem.

Bring less clothes, stuff that's designed for traveling and pack them all wisely.

That's it. Thanks for your watching, I hope it's helpful.

Next video will be my first day in Philippines.

Thanks again. See ya!

5 Tips: How to sound better on SMULE + Personal Advice/Bonus Tip - Duration: 3:32.

Are you new to Smule and you don't know how to get the best sound out of your recordings?

Then stay tuned because I'm going to give you 5 Tips of how to sound better on your

songs.

And I suggest you until the end of the video because I'm going to give a Bonus Tip, a personal

insider Tip of how your voice might sound better than with the headphones you're using

right now.

So, let's get started.

My name is Andreas and I've been on Smule since 2016.

I've always used an Android phone for Smule - to be specific - a Motorola G4 plus.

But what I'm going to talk about counts for Android- and iOS-Systems.

Tip number 1: Use headphones.

Not using headphones creates an echo and is unbearable for everyone who listens.

Also if you start a recording without using them, Smule is telling you to use headphones,

and that's for a good reason.

Number 2: Hold your mic at a reasonable distance from your mouth.

Not too close, but not too far.

Just far enough that we can't hear you breathing or spitting into the mic.

Number 3: Make sure you use the right FX.

Don't use any voice-changing FX like "Magic", "Pop Star", "Super Pop"...

Most people normally use "Super Studio" if they're VIP.

If they're non-VIP you should use "Studio".

I heard there's "Opera" FX for iOS too, so you should use that one.

If you use "Super Studio" you should put reverb and roomsize at something between 10 and 30

%. I normally use 15 to 20 or 20 to 25 %. Of course you can play a little bit around with

the percentages since, in my experience, it depends on the device how it really sounds,

so there might be slight differences.

You just gotta find the right balance.

But the 15 to 20% or the 20 to 25% is the general go-to.

By the way, if you want to know more about how Smule works, make sure you subscribe to

my channel so you don't miss out on anything.

Tip number 4: It's almost as crucial as number 3, choose the right location.

Don't sing in a crowd of people, in the park, on the streets or in the bathroom, because

it gives you really bad, reverby audio.

Make sure you're in a quiet room, like in a bedrroom or the living room, where there's

a lot of furniture and you don't have that much reverb.

And Tip number 5: This is an obvious one.

Don't cough or breathe into the microphone.

If you're coughing and breathing it destroys the whole atmosphere of the song and it just

makes it worse.

So, these 5 points are the most important ones.

And now, let's get to the Bonus Tip that I mentioned in the beginning of this video.

If you're having problems with your mic and you've tried different headphones, try to

sing with headphones that don't have any mic on them, because that makes you sing through

the microphone of your phone.

You have to hold your phone close to you so that it perceives your voice.

I'm using it and it really helps me so much, especially for Android devices.

My voice sounds so much clearer through my phone mic than through any other headphone

mic.

Just try that out before you buy any other new headphones, and IF you buy new headphones

try the original Apple headphones.

Other Android users told me that they used these headphones.

And these gave them the clearest sound.

To get the best out of Smule on your phone is to use the phone's mic or the original

Apple headphones.

If these Tips have helped you please don't forget to give this video a Like.

Also share it with people who are having problems with the sound on Smule, and if YOU can help

out with Tips, please don't forget to comment down below, so you let everybody else know

about it.

Thanks so much for watching guys, don't forget to subscribe and see you next week!

Bye

Sholeh Zard - How to make persian Saffron Rice Pudding - Duration: 4:12.

hello welcome to Leono'rs sweet creations today we are in Leimen Germany filming

with my Persian friend Marzieh Thank You Marzieh for having us here

Marzieh comes from Iran and she's going to show us how to make a traditional

Iranian desert called Sholeh Zard. - Perfect! SholehZard.

Let's start? - Yes! - O.k. Let's go!

We need 2 cups rice 4 cups sugar 1 tbsp almonds 1 tbsp rose water 1 tablespoon

of saffron and 1 TSP green cardomon and we need 50 gram butter and for decoration

we need 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and 1 teaspoon of pistachio. so we put the rice

into the bowl and then for each cup of rice we need 6 cup of water we cooked it

in low heat degree for at least 1 hour so after it cool the rice is cooked and

all the water absorb it's going to be like that so this time we need add 2

sugar

so we add the sugar and then they cook it for half an hour until all the sugar

absorb to the rice after we add the sugar we have to stir all the time

after half an hour when the all the sugar melted down so we need to add

almonds and stir it again and then this time we need to add saffron

after we add the saffron we need to add the green cardamom one after stirring so we

need to add water

and then stir again until the butter is melted after the butter is melted so the

last ingredient is going to be rose water so we add the rose water and then

stir in again close the pan with the lid at least for 10 minutes our dessert is

ready for decoration we use for cinnamon and almond and pistachio in the middle

after four hours of waiting I'm very curious about your shoulders doormat see

let me try it I cannot wait anymore

mmm-hmm think the good things about this is that you can serve it warm and

cold. oh it's still a bit warm in this case I'm loving it I will try cold again
