GPD XD+ ( Plus ) : Installing or Updating Firmware (also unbrick ) - Duration: 3:05.
GPD XD+ ( Plus ): Installing or Updating Firmware ( Also recovers from _brick_ )
Start by getting the needed files from the links I have provided.
Under the section "GPD XD Plus Firmware" download the firmware you want and make sure to get "Upgrade tools and drivers".
Extract the files into your work folder. You can usually right click and choose "Extract Here".
Go into the tools folder and then into the "SP_Driver" folder. To start "DriverInstall.exe" you will need to right click it and select "Run as administrator".
Install the drivers selecting the defaults. If the install gives you errors it should still work. Make sure to restart your computer once the install is finished. If you have problems with driver installation you may have to disable "driver signature enforcement". Please google if you do not know how to do it.
Restart computer now.
Move the "SP_Flash" folder to your C: drive. This can avoid problems with the program running properly.
Enter the "SP_Flash" directory. Double click on "flash_tool.exe".
Next to "Scatter-loading file" click on "choose" to select the firmware. Enter your firmware folder until you find the scatter file, then select it.
Important: If you are installing as new firmware and know that YOU WILL LOSE YOUR DATA, then flash as it is. ( "userdata" IS selected ).
Important: If you are upgrading and wish to KEEP YOUR DATA, then you must make sure "userdata" is NOT selected.
Making sure that "Download Only" is selected, click on "Download".
After you click on "Download" you will then connect the USB cable to your pc and then to your GPD XD+. No special button combination is needed. Your install will begin immediately after you do so.
You will get a window with "Download Ok". You have now installed or upgraded your firmware.
Thank you for watching. If this video helped you please "Like" and "Subscribe". This will make it easier for others to find it when they need it.

Insta360 Studio tutorial (2018) FREE overcapture app for Windows or Mac Overcapture Tutorial Part 2 - Duration: 9:04.
Insta360 Studio tutorial: In this overcapture tutorial, I'm gonna show you how to make overcapture videos
with any 360 camera, whether desktop or mobile, whether for Windows, Mac, iOS or
Android. And I'm gonna show you the secret technique for making your 360
videos look their best. Hi my name is Mic and you're watching
360 Rumors, the resource that 360 shooters trust for in-depth 360 camera reviews
and innovative techniques. In part 1 of this video, I talked about the many
advantages of using a 360 camera to make a non-360 video (aka overcapture or reframed video). If you haven't seen that
video yet go ahead and check that out first (link on upper right corner). In this video I'm gonna show you
how to do an overcapture video whether for desktop or mobile. Even if you
don't have a 360 camera or you've never used a 360 camera before, that's okay. Go ahead and
download the sample videos that I shot for you (link in description) that you can use those for
practice. There are several ways to make overcapture videos on the desktop.
A popular option is to use Adobe Premiere. If you have Adobe Premiere CC, all
you have to do is download the free GoPro VR plug-in that's available from
Kolor.com. Check out the link in the description below and my buddy Ben
Claremont made a tutorial for using the GoPro VR Reframe Effect. In essence,
you just drag that effect into your 360 video and you'll be able
to automatically convert it to a non-360 video. If you don't have Adobe Premiere,
don't worry -- there's a great software that's free for the desktop it's called
Insta360 Studio (link in description) and it's available for both Windows and Mac, and you don't
have to have an Insta360 camera in order to use it. It's compatible with 360
videos from any camera up to 4k. Now let's learn inside Insta360 Studio. It's
actually one of my favorite programs. So first we open the file and click on this
plus button here or you can drag from Windows Explorer and by the way, you can
open multiple files by selecting more than one file and dragging them at the
same time. In Insta360 studio you'll notice there two tabs on top. One is
Panoplayer and one is Capture. Panoplayer is just a 360 video player.
you can move around you can also change the perspective from flat like an
equirectangular view, rectilinear, or fisheye, a little planet or a crystal ball. We'll
talk about types of projections later on. The tab we're concerned here is Capture and
that's what you use for creating a freecapture, overcapture or reframed video.
if you're in Capture mode, you simply click on export then it's going to
create a non-360 video that's 1920 by 1080. It's really simple. But of course, to
make it more fun, we want to be able to control the virtual camera. Let's pretend
we want to start out with this opening view and then later on we want the
camera to pan into this direction. So here's how we do it.
We do it with keyframes. Keyframing means that you tell the computer you
want to start off with a certain position and you want to end up with a
certain position and you let the computer figure out everything in
between. The initial scene is like this. To create a keyframe, click on this
dot. Now we're going to play up to the point where we want it to
change view. Let's say here. Now we're gonna change the view to this one, let's say.
And we create another keyframe. So now if we go back to the previous shot
and we press play, you'll see that the camera will pan automatically okay
that's how easy it is to change views with keyframing. In addition to panning
the camera, you can change the field of view from a zoomed in view or a wider
view. For example, here we made it wider so starting out from here
the camera will zoom out. Another important technique for keyframing is
there are different projections: 1. standard default view, 2. there's an rectilinear view
where the lines are straight. Straight lines like here they're all straight.
3. There's also what they call crystal ball view which is kind of similar to a
fisheye view and it's similar to this default view where straight lines are
kind of curved. Like this pillar for example. It should be straight but
instead it's slightly curved. 4. Then there's the tiny planet view. If you're
wondering which view to use, here's a guideline: the rectilinear view is
generally good for architecture. The fisheye view or the default view (both of
them are fisheye) -- they tend to be better for people and natural objects.
Tiny planet, besides being useful for tiny planet view or a rabbit hole view,
is also useful for creating an extra-wide fisheye view. With a regular
fisheye view, if you go too wide the outer frame will be black. With a tiny planet
view, you can get impossibly wide fisheye shots. By the way, really cool and useful
techniques like that are just one reason we got over 1,400 likes in
just one week. So go ahead hit the subscribe button and
the little bell -- this video will keep playing. You can also change or delete
a keyframe. You do that by selecting a keyframe like here or there and then
you can change it or move it along in time. You can move it later or earlier and you
can also delete it by selecting it and then pressing the delete button on your
keyboard. The last important technique is to be able to control the speed of the
transitions. Here you select this line by clicking on it and you'll see that there
are several options. Smooth dissolve is just gradual change. Slip-in slip-out
which means fast to slow to fast. Fade-in fade-out which is slow to fast to slow.
Slip-in fade-out (fast in, slow out). Fade-in slip-out (slow in, fast out).
"None" is if you want a simple cut. When you're
done with your edits, you can click on "Preview" to get a preview of your
overcapture video and when you're satisfied you can click on export to finalize your
render. Now one of the most common questions I get is, "Why does your 360
video look better even if it's from the same camera?" There are many techniques
I use to make my 360 videos look their best. For example one of them is
controlling exposure. And I have a free tutorial on 360rumors.com. Go ahead
and check out the link in the description below. In addition I use
other techniques such as the one that I'm about to show you. And that is
controlling the field of view. When you hear "field of view" in connection with
360 video, you're thinking, "Well wouldn't it be 360 degrees?" There's a
difference between the field of view for capturing and the field of view for
viewing. For capturing video with a 360 camera,
yes obviously the field of view is 360 degrees but when you're viewing the
360 video, you can actually change the field of view. This is very
important because the wider the field of view that you're using for viewing, the
more detailed the 360 video appears. And this important technique applies whether
you're viewing it as a 360 video or as an overcapture video (it also works for photos). Now here's a tip:
On Facebook. if you upload a 360 video you
can change the field of view by clicking on edit video and then click on director
tools then you can adjust the field of view. By choosing the widest field of
view. you can make your video look more detailed. Besides Insta360 Studio
there are other great options for creating overcapture on desktop such as
MAGIX Movie Edit Pro -- there's a tutorial in the description below.
There's also CyberLink PowerDirector Ultra and Garmin VirB Edit --
that's a free software. It doesn't have all the features but you can use it for
overcapture as well. Using keyframing for overcapture
videos works very well and the video looks really smooth but sometimes it can
look a little too smooth. If you're wondering how do you make it look more
natural then this next section is for you. We're gonna talk about making
overcapture videos with your phone and I'm going to show you free software for
both iOS and Android.

Sword Art Online Alternative is . . . Good? (or, why it's so fun to watch) - Duration: 4:46.
Yes, that title is not a lie. SAO Alternative is, good. Or at least, I think
so. What are you talking about, "blasphemy"? Hey, put down those pitchforks! Look, just,
here me out . . . Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online is a spin-off of the
infamously reviled/beloved Sword Art Online franchise that, does not in fact
focus on the many misadventures of Kirito-kun and his merry band of side
chicks, but instead follows Kohiruimaki Karen, a university student with an
inferiority complex about her height as she dives into the world of vr gaming,
specifically the world of Gun Gale Online and its Squad Jam tournament, a
team-based battle royale game mode, to escape from her everyday insecurities.
It's a simple story with a genuine understanding of the gaming world and, so
far, it's been quite an enjoyable ride, thanks in no small part to its small
cast of dynamic characters. LLENN is grounded in game by well-defined
strengths and weaknesses, being incredibly fast and quick to adapt to
stressful situations, while also being quite fragile and sticking out like a
sore thumb in the desolate grain brown hues of gun Gale of world. At the same
time, Karen's desire to find an escape through online gaming and the duality
between her real life, where she often feels withdrawn and isolated, and her
online life, where she feels free to express herself however she pleases,
gives her character a sense of depth and relatability that for some is probably
all too familiar. Pito, the first person LLENN gets to know online,
is an avid fanatic of Gun Gale Online, obsessed with the carnage the game lets her
indulge in. Meanwhile, M, the man Pito teams LLENN up with for the Squad Jam, has a
calm demeanor and a mountainous frame that emphasizes his stoic disposition.
The show's characters are interesting and distinct, and their personalities
bounce off of and reflect each other naturally, in a way that's just fun to see
play out, whether they're hanging out joking around, or massacring their enemies with no remose . . .
Funny thing is, I'm only slightly exaggerating here . . .
Speaking of, the show's action is, personally, the biggest draw of the show so far,
not because of the combat itself, but because of the mind games surrounding it. You see,
the show puts a big focus on the tactics the players use to trick each other and
how they exploit the many strange quirks of Gun Gale's design to get an upper
hand, from hiding under dead bodies for cover to using the Squad Jam's scan
feature to track down or keep an eye on enemy teams, or even to lure them into a
trap, since the scan only shows the position
of each team's leader. While it does go overboard sometimes in explaining these
details, it creates a strong sense of tension as the players do their best to
outsmart each other and take home the victory in this battle royale. However, I
do have some problems. The art and animation can often look, off, and as mentioned
before, there is a lot of jarring and unnecessary exposition, but given that
the main character is someone who's new to gaming, I feel like that's the point.
But, more concerningly, many aspects of Gun Gale Online's design seem, baffling.
Most of them are probably just holdovers from the original series, but
still. The fact that you start off with completely randomized in-game avatars
and have to pay to change them instead of just having character creation from the
start really comes across as a cheap way to make extra money. I mean, is this what
loot boxes eventually transform into? Loot avatars? Why does it feel like
that's already a thing? There's also a lot of potential for abuse with the way
the Squad Jam tournament has been set up, with how players are able to bring
custom items and gear into it, meaning that, without some sort of system to
balance things out, a high-level player could give themselves an unfair
advantage by bringing in a high level weapon and just picking off all the
lower level players, skill be damned. And . . . she took those from her inventory, right?
She didn't just, summon the items . . . right? These issues have jarred me out of the
show on more than one occasion and could easily turn someone off the show
entirely. But, overall, it's been quite enjoyable. Though it's only a few
episodes in, I'm more than confident in saying that SAO Alternative is good.
Pretty good, in fact. It's a tense show with fun and relatable characters and some
fascinating mind games that makes it so fun to watch.
And yeah, those are my thoughts. Let me know what yous think, if yous agree, disagree,
how yous feel about SAO in general (I just kind of thought it was meh), if yous
also think its ironic that this anime about a battle royale style game-mode
has been released just as battle royale games have boomed in popularity, probably
not a coincidence in retrospect, etc, and thanks for watching!
If yous enjoyed this, and wanna see more, check out my last video, where I
break down American Gods and its approach to world building. Or, check out my video

I CAN'T MAKE THESE DECISIONS, HELP! (career or kids & furniture shopping) - Duration: 3:28.
I feel like I'm being asked, do you want your career or do you want your family?
So, we are trying to pick fabric that we like.
We need your help!
Madison and I just dropped Gabriel off at school, and we are on the way
to my doctor's appointment.
I have this fear that I'm going into menopause early.
Let me elaborate.
I was getting hot flashes, waking up at the middle of the night drenched in sweat.
I was really irritable, and so I thought I have to be going through early menopause.
I did not end up getting into the medical school.
I'm starting to think that maybe I need to rewrite the MCAT.
If I am going through menopause early then I need to have a kid right now.
So I would be writing the MCAT while pregnant.
Anyways, I will fill you guys in later.
My doctor just asked me if I want to take my IUD out, my birth control out.
I don't know what I want.
I've just been here crying.
I feel like I'm being asked do you want your career or do you want your family?
She's so cute though.
I still don't know whether I am in early menopause or not.
Are you a hypochondriac?
Oh yes.
But she gave me the option of taking my IUD out.
At this point I'm not sure what we are going to do, but I mean you will see whatever we
choose.
After my doctor's appointment, Madison and I checked out this new store.
We found this really nice sectional, which I absolutely love.
We're not going to get the whole thing, because the whole thing won't fit in out living room.
But, we will get the two seats plus the chaise.
And then we might get the ottoman as well.
These are the colour options.
That's my favourite!
I think daddy is going to want grey.
What do you guys think?
I think this is the colour that we are sitting on.
See this is just expensive.
I don't want expensive.
Why are you upset?
Because I don't want it.
Because it's nap time and you need to go to bed?
I'm just fine, myself.
You're grumpy.
No, I'm just grumpy.
Next time, I'm going to leave you at home.
No, don't leave me at home.
The kids would destroy this, but I love this.
Ooo this is so soft!
I think this is the one.
Octonauts to the
???
Octonaut?
The next day.
Hi guys.
Hi guys, we are at the furniture place, and we are trying to pick a fabric that we like.
We need your help.
What are you doing?
I think I had protein smoothie this morning, protein shake, so it's on my nose I think.
Or maybe that's just how my nose looks.
I can't tell.
Anyways.
I really like the depth in this one.
It has black and grey.
Ryan prefers the solid, what is this?
Charcoal?
Yeah.
Ryan prefers the solid colour.
He does have a good point that this might catch, the way this is more of a tweed.
This is smoother.
This is actually really soft.
That's all.
I think the texture in this is super cool, my only drawback is that it might catch.
And I also think that this would look super sexy in the media room with the lights dimmed
down.
The pot lights dimmed down with the nice charcoal couch.
It will look super bad ass.
What do you guys think?
Should we go with this one?
Or this one?

Work On Someone Else's Show Or Work On Your Own by Andrew Horng - Duration: 4:37.
Film Courage: How many years were you in TV? Andrew Horng, Screenwriter: I started... well when I once I officially moved here
(which was 2005) I did it for about six years and yeah I worked on Prison Break
that was the first show and then the last show was Eastbound & Down in North
Carolina to North Carolina to to shoot that film she shoot that TV show and
yeah I definitely had different reactions on both shows season one a
prison break was really really exciting it was the hit show and I was really
glad to be a part of it that I was finally making money in LA and everybody
you know all my friends were calling me and they're like oh yeah I just saw the
show last night and what's gonna happen and you know it's really exciting and I
was really open to doing you know whatever the producers wanted me to do
whatever my bosses wanted me to do and it just felt great being a part of a
team and even though I wasn't involved creatively I was like yeah this is you
know I've made it I'm gonna you know you know maybe I'll be you know writing a
show one day and and you know I'll have my name in the credits
but then flash-forward six years later I was actually working on eastbound and
down in North Carolina and I loved all the people that I worked with I really
you know I really connected with them and you know they were great just that I
felt differently on that last show I was really unfulfilled and there was so many
things happening and all the days we couldn't we couldn't I was in accounting
them all the days were all the paperwork was getting high and I didn't really
have time for my writing you know I would always go home and fall asleep at
the computer and it would really bother me and I thought you know how many more
years am I going to be doing this and I remember specifically we there was a
sizzle reel of the show where they cut together all the different I'll you know
all these highlights before the season started
of the the show for the cast and crew you know he get excited for the upcoming
season and I watched it and I didn't really feel anything and I looked at
other people who didn't have anything to do with their show creatively there my
level or in a different department they were really excited and they were just
like you know so see they were saying that all the stuff that they went
through was worth it because of you know what they saw in the sizzle reel and I
just felt like you know I'm working on someone else's show I didn't really feel
anything maybe it's time for me to get out you know it's I've kind of lost that
you know it's kind of gotten old now it's time for me to move on and try to
work on my own show or my own movie you know so that's when I decided to leave
do you think the recession had anything to do with that too because you started
when the recession when the economy was doing fairly well and then I don't think
so because I mean nowadays there's all these different shows you know shows are
abundant now I mean whoever says that there's no work and Hollywood and it's
all competitive I mean they don't know all the shows that exist that they'll
never see on all these different platforms so I don't think I mean there
was always a show so that I don't think that was the case for me it was just my
own personal fulfillment I wasn't feeling it so then did you say well I'm
gonna did you give yourself any kind of deadline you say I'm gonna leave this
job and do something that's you know more piecemeal or part-time and then
work on my own stuff I did try to give myself a deadline but I'm also really
bad at deadlines too I've noticed it's one of my big weaknesses you know I
usually predict stuff like I'm gonna get it done by this time and then you know
I'm still trying to figure that out but I did take some you know writing classes
and and I felt like it was time for me to you know start writing my own feature
film and I knew there's going to be a big learning curve
that you know I was going to take some time so I was but I was ready to do it I
was ready to to you know if you took years you know I was gonna do it
you

Reds unchanged for top-four battle, or new back line? – Predicting Liverpool's lineup vs. Chelsea - Duration: 4:50.
Reds unchanged for top-four battle, or new back line? – Predicting Liverpool's lineup vs. Chelsea
Jurgen Klopp could name an unchanged side for Liverpool's crucial top-four showdown against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
Champions League celebrations will be put on hold as the Reds attempt to confirm their presence in next season's competition.
A point at Stamford Bridge will be just enough to achieve that given the superior goal difference Klopp's side boast over the fifth-placed Blues.
An already difficult task in claiming it will be made extra difficult though after the heroic efforts produced in Rome.
Those exploits give Klopp a tricky balancing act with his selection—needing to combine managing an already thin squad with keeping the team competitive for a vital 90 minutes.
But the boss has suggested his strongest possible team will feature and here's how Liverpool could line up.
Team News.
Same depleted squad at Klopp's disposal, limiting options for changes Joel Matip, Emre Can, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain & Joe Gomez all still out
Adam Lallana back in full training and could be involved Strongest lineup likely to be named with chance to seal top-four spot Nathaniel Clyne, Alberto Moreno & Ragnar Klavan available to freshen defence Ben Woodburn, Danny Ings & Dominic Solanke offensive alternatives.
Liverpool's XI vs. the Blues.
Klopp was always likely to go strong on Sunday in attempt to seal top four—and to avoid a nerve-wracking final day to allow for maximum focus on Real Madrid.
And in his pre-match press conference the boss confirmed this before revealing the strong possibility that he will keep faith in the same starting XI:.
Try to do a different lineup with my squad? We can't do it.
Yes, a break would be better for everyone but from Wednesday to Sunday, four days is OK..
Therefore those who conquered Rome seem set to be tasked with delivering the draw needed at Stamford Bridge, as Klopp relies on the momentum and form of this XI to shine through:.
Keeping with the same confidence-filled side makes sense but it would be a tough ask after an intense 90 minutes in the Italian capital.
Klopp will know that and he could change tack by making a couple of changes to re-energise the team—taking the opportunity to spring a slight surprise given his comments above.
He made five changes for each of the Reds' recent league games before Roma—against West Brom and Stoke.
But it's unlikely that number would be made again with Liverpool needing to be as close to full strength as possible—especially in attack—for a crucial 90 minutes.
So a couple of switches for some much-needed energy could be made in defence—with there also no room for manoeuvre in midfield.
Clyne could come in to give Trent Alexnader-Arnold a break after heavy recent action, while Klavan could replace Dejan Lovren who has struggled with the demands of two games in quick succession.
With everything else untouched the Reds would look like this after those two changes:.
A point will be enough to get over the line in the top-four race and the Reds will need a battling display to claim it and ensure of another successful Premier League campaign.

Export setlist CDJ 2000 Rekordbox to website, email or facebook - Amazing Tips & tricks - Duration: 6:47.
hey guys, in this video everything about exporting your songs from your Pioneer Rekordbox
for example the songs you played last night. so you can get them to your
fans via email or Facebook for example. So let's take it away
consider subscribing if you already haven't and hit the bell button so you
don't miss anything. Hey guys and girls how are you doing? I hope you were doing
marvelously well. In this video I'm gonna talk about Rekordbox and the export
function in Pioneer DJ Rekordbox, so we can use a playlist or the things that you played
last night, export them to a file so we can manipulate that and use that on
Facebook. This video is a suggestion of one of my YouTube followers. He messaged
me and I eventually made a video out of that. if you want to have direct answer
to your question you can become a patreon. You pay a little bit for my time
so I can answer that question directly and I can make high-quality YouTube
videos. you can only use the history function if you have connected something
to Rekordbox, that can be directly your CDJ 2000 with the Pro DJ Link
connection, a DJ controller for example that you use with Rekordbox DJ, or you
use the USB thumb drive from your CDJ's. so, let's dive into Rekordbox. In Rekordbox
you will know that on the left side of the screen there are the playlists. when
we scroll all the way to the bottom, you will see that there is a histories part
when we open that part "histories", you will see, I switched in 2016 to Rekordbox
it's now 2018, April and I have the link history of all the items that I did
in April. This is the item, the playlist that I did today. now what we can do is
export that thing. you may think that it's really easy on the top is a item
says "playlist", "Save Playlist info", "dot txt". well I will do that and you'll see it
won't work. and that's all that there is to that function
nothing happens. what we can do is, right-click on that item and say "turn
the play history into playlist", let's do that. on the first
glance there seems to be nothing going on, but when we scroll to the top. you
will see that on the bottom of all my playlists, there is a new item called
'link history 2018". let's rename it to: "set list today". please give it a good name
when you do it for yourself. these are all the items that we have in this
playlist of the things that I play today. when we have this, then you can say
"playlist, save playlist info, save it to dot txt file". so let's do that
setlist playlist today, and save. Your CDJs will write the history info of all
the things that you have played to your USB thumb drive. But how do you get the
history of your thumb drive in Rekordbox? well that's really really easy. when
I scroll down, you will see that there are in April, 2 items in here, but when I
stick my USB thumb drive in to Rekordbox you will see, that it takes a while
and you saw a brief window that it is loading the history. in April you see an
extra item here: "history 2018", now we can do the same
thing that we did before, so we can make a playlist out of that. "Turn a play
history into playlist". okay. and now it's gonna be fun. I'm in finder right now and
I have my file that I just created over here. let's double click on it to see: yes
this is indeed the file we just created
but, now let's rename the file, to a .CSV file. now let's open Google Docs
and go to the Google sheets. I'm now, right now in Google sheets, let's open a
file, go to upload, then I'm gonna drag my file into the upload screen. away. and now
you see, that the setlist that I've just created is in Google Docs. now let's get
rid of all the unnecessary clutter. okay, now let's say I'm happy with this. now
let's export it to a format that you can use. file download as you can make it an
Excel form, open document, PDF, a web page if you want to, comma separated file and
a tab sheet... a tab separated file. let's choose a CSV file because I want
to get it to Facebook. choose CSV. now it's downloaded. now let's open it again
but first let's rename it, because otherwise another application will start
it. .TXT, now double click on it and you will see that we got rid of all
the unnecessary clutter. what we can do now is say CTRL A, so select everything
CTRL C, to copy everything and now go to Facebook. then when we have opened
Facebook we can make a new message and paste the text that we just copied, so we
paste the list, with CMD V and let's post it. But of course you're not
restricted to Facebook. You can also for example email your list. I hope you learned
something from this video. if you did please leave a thumbs up, otherwise a
thumbs down. don't forget to subscribe to my channel if you already haven't and
hit the bell button, so you stay updated. thank you for watching and I hope to see
you in the next video. bye

Why is it so hard to sit down and study or work - Duration: 4:45.
There are days, weeks and sometimes even months where your desire to do something productive
is barely existent.
Theres a possibility that you're having a depression episode, but most likely you
aren't, because you're not sad, you're just not feeling compelled enough to get up
and do stuff, stuff that maybe not today, but surely in the future will contribute to
a better life for you, or maybe even for your family and society.
And to properly understand the reasons and solutions to this problem, we need to have
a better understanding of the underlying processes that are taking place when we talk about motivation.
If you're hungry that's not just a simple drive that's pushing you to get something
to eat, it's more of a subpersonality that has a goal, it has a bunch of action patterns
related to that particular goal, and it organizes your emotional responses around that goal.
We can look at it from another perspective.
We could say that motivation set goals, and emotions track progress towards goals.
Generally speaking motivation determines what your aim is, so if you are thirsty you are
going to aim at something to drink, and that will automatically alter your perception so
you zero out everything that is not relevant to that goal.
Once you start to focus on the few things that will guide you forward, your emotions
start to track your progress, so when you encounter those things that facilitate your
movement forward, that produces positive emotions.
On the other hand when you encounter some kind of threat, or blockage between you and
your goal, that produces negative emotions, and that can be anger, disappointment, grief
and so on.
And if you experience some of the more powerful negative emotions like pain for example, that
can cause you to abandon your goal and turn back.
So why is it so hard to get up and do stuff.
And it might be that you just don't have any goals, it might be that you're aiming
at nothing.
So no aim, equals no emotions, which equals no neurochemical fuel to keep you going.
Your case might not be exactly the same, but it is a pretty accurate scenario.
And you might ask, how do you fix that?
Well you need to sit down and set your goals.
See, If you observe a starving rat in cage and it knows it has food at the end of a corridor,
if you put a little spring attached to his tail, you can measure the rats motivation
by measuring how hard the rat pulls, you can measure the displacement of the little spring,
and that will give you a quantization of the motivational force of the rat.
What's more interesting is, if you set up the same scenario with the rat trying to get
to some food and you spray some cat odor behind it, the starving rat would pull even harder,
because it it starving and he really wants to get the hell away from there.
So getting away and and getting somewhere are two distinct motivational systems, and
if you can combine them together then you can make a really powerful motivational force.
And you can start by sitting down and writing your perfect future, and also the possible
hell you want to avoid.
Let's say for example you're not motivated to work out.
You can start by imagining how perfect and healthy your body would be if you only started
to work out for 30 minutes a day, you can then imagine the clothes fitting you perfectly,
your posture, your health, stamina etc.
You can write everything down, you can write about the positive mood and outlook on life
you adopted since you started to work out.
Then imagine the opposite, imagine you being overweight, your IQ dropped because you didn't
exercise or had optimal body weight, so naturally your IQ decreased as you aged.
Imagine going to the doctor and he's telling you that you have an increased chance of heart
attack.
Imagine feeling anxious and depressed, without any self confidence or motivation, stuck being
overweight forever.
And that's a pretty terrifying future as far as I can tell.
Then once you do this, you can sit down and negotiate with yourself.
You can ask yourself, what would you want in return if you would work out for 30 minutes
a day for the next week.
That can be a walk in the park, a beer with your friends, playing video games like whatever
gets you excited, and then agree on that contract with yourself.
This reward, combined with the visualization of the ideal future and possible hell, is
going to produce a high level of motivation and drive to get you started on fixing the
dimensions of your life that need to be fixed.
Now, you have the knowledge, you know how emotions and goals contribute to your motivation,
you know techniques to combine two distinct motivational systems, and you know that you
need to negotiate instead of punishing or tyrannizing yourself.
So my advice is, do the visualisation, write your goals, get up do stuff.
Because If we all get our act together collectively, then maybe we can make this world just a little
bit better for all of us.

Overcapture Tutorial Part 3: free overcapture app for any phone (iOS or Android) any 360 camera - Duration: 5:43.
We're going to talk about making overcapture videos with your phone and I'm
going to show you free software for both iOS and Android. Hi my name is Mic and
you're watching 360 Rumors, the resource that 360 shooters trust for in-depth
360 camera reviews and innovative techniques. In part 1 of this video we
talked about the advantages of using a 360 camera to make a non-360 video.
In part two we learned how to create an overcapture video on a desktop using
Insta360 Studio and keyframing. In this video we'll learn how to create a
more natural looking overcapture video using your phone. To create an over
capture video on your phone we'll need two things: first we'll need
the right app and second I highly recommend getting a swivel chair. So
what's the best free app? For Android the app I would recommend is VR Media
Player and for iOS I recommend Google Photos. After installing VR Media Player
or Google Photos now we can begin. So first you have to transfer the
video file to your phone. On Android transfer it to the DCIM\Camera folder. On
iPhone it's a little more complicated. There are two ways to do it: either use
itunes to do a file transfer or if you don't want to do that you can just
simply upload the video to Google Photos and your phone will have access to it
via the cloud. After copying the file to your phone we can begin. I'm going
to launch VR Media Player. I'm gonna look for the video so we have the video right
here. if you look on the upper right corner
there's an icon that looks like a compass and when you press that, it
activates the gyro. With the gyro activated, I can move the phone and as I move it,
it acts like a virtual camera. I can not only move it left and right but also up
or down. But how are you gonna export that? You can use a screen recorder. For iOS 11
use the built in screen recorder. For Android use the AirShou app. Now use your
phone as a virtual camera. Rehearse your movement and when you're ready, start
recording. If you want
to do a cut then I would pause it and then switch view and then play back.
During editing you can trim out the excess video. Another thing you can do is
zoom in or out. The way I do that is by placing my thumb's on opposite sides
and I can pinch in or out. I can do this in realtime so while I'm
controlling the movement of the screen I can also zoom in or zoom out. And if I
zoom out and I point it down it becomes a tiny planet if I point it up it
becomes a rabbit hole. On iOS you would use Google photos and the
controls are similar. Open the video, then you press play and you'll see there's a
compass icon in the bottom left corner. When you tap on that, that means
you're using a gyro. And again you would move the phone left or right to control
it. Now the only thing is with with the with Google Photos you can't exactly
zoom in or out without showing the overlay. So instead if you want
to zoom in or out what I would do is disable the compass (disable the gyro) and
then tap the screen to remove the overlay, and then now you can pinch in or pinch out
without the overlay showing up. But you lose the gyro. After you make your
overcapture video don't forget to stop recording the video. So now that you know
that you can use overcapture with almost any 360 camera you might be
wondering which is the best 360 camera if you want to do over capture style
videos? In general, the more detailed the camera is, the better the
overcapture will be. So the most detailed 360 cameras that I've tested are:
1. GoPro Fusion and the second would be Yi 360 VR. Besides detail you'll also
want a 360 camera that's stabilized and right now the most affordable
stabilized 360 camera (with built-in stabilization) is the Xiaomi Mijia Mi sphere. Check out the links
for a discount code. While you were doing the overcapture video, you might have
noticed that while you were moving the phone around there was a little bit
of camera shake. If you're wondering how do you avoid that while
still maintaining a natural look, the good news is that there's a
camera that can do exactly that. Well there are two of them actually. One of
them is the Insta360 One and the other one is the Insta360 Nano S. Both of
them have a built-in overcapture function. They call it freecapture.
Not only that but when you move the camera around in freecapture, it's
actually stabilized. So watch this. I'm going to start recording and then I'm
gonna tilt it this way it and that way. Now stop that mode and let's play it back.
Even though I was tilting the phone, you can see it's still level. So that's what
makes the Insta360 One and Nano S two of the best options for phone-based
Freecapture. Speaking of the Insta360 One, I'm working on a new video that will
show amazing new techniques and of course to show them, I'm gonna do fun
experiments. I'm also working on another video where I'm gonna answer one of the
questions that I get asked almost all the time, almost every day. So I'll see
you in 360!

SURVIVING A FALL FROM 10,000 FEET - FACT or FICTION? - Duration: 17:05.
Do you have what it takes?
If you were thrust into a scenario, one where perils threaten you from every direction,
could you make it out alive?
Not everybody can say "yes" with confidence, but the people in the following stories cannot
only answer in the affirmative, they have the experience to prove it.
The question we leave you with is which of these harrowing tales are true and which spawned
from our own imaginations?
The line that divides the factual from the unreal has long since blurred, the tales we
once thought fantastical now implanted as truth.
To decipher verity from the imagined, you must break from the ordinary and consider
a universe where the outlandish prevails.
Can you expand your mind to see beyond our perceived reality?
Can you decide what's fact or fiction?
Should you have a fear of flying, the story of Bethany Kappernack may not quell your worries
any.
Her unfortunate incident two-miles into the clear blue sky would be enough to turn anyone
away from air travel; but then again, maybe it's just a story we cooked up and you have
nothing to worry about.
Story # 1: Freefalling Christmas Eve, 1973.
Bethany and her mother Michelle were struggling to enjoy a lengthy plane ride over the Panamanian
rainforest.
The delayed flight had made them seven hours late already and time seemed to creep by.
At an unknown hour during the flight, the passenger flight entered a thick, black cloud.
Cutting through the dense cloud cover, the craft started entered turbulence, causing
Michelle's anxiety to kick in.
As Bethany tried to comfort her mother, a bolt of lightning cut through the sky, worsening
her fears.
Moments later, another bolt flashed, but as the sky turned to black, a glow that wasn't
there before emanated from outside a passenger's window.
When Bethany craned to see the source and caught a glimpse of the outer engine on fire,
she clasped her mother to her.
Before she could explain, the plane's cabin went dark and the craft fell into a nose-dive.
In the chaos, Bethany had inadvertently let go of her mother to brace against the fall
and before she could grab her again, the plane started to break apart.
In an instant, she was freefalling through the sky still fastened to her seat.
Michelle was nowhere to be found and Bethany was forced to watch as the ground rushed towards
her alone.
Mid-fall, she lost consciousness.
When she came to, she was on the ground, miraculously alive, but certainly worse for wear.
She released herself from the seat that had apparently broken her two-mile fall and saved
her life, but as she tried to stand, her body gave way.
Spots of pain were all over her body, from deep cuts to a broken collarbone, but she
couldn't let it keep her from pressing on.
She needed to find her mother.
She needed to find help.
But first, she needed to find out where she was.
No matter which direction she looked in, the jungle looked the same.
No distinguishing features, just a stretch of greenery that went on for miles.
She sobbed as she found no other signs of life nearby, but as she walked aimlessly,
she found scattered pieces of the plane and, among the wreckage, snacks to keep her moving.
It was four days before she came across other passengers from the flight, though they hadn't
survived the crash.
She feared the worst, but upon inspection, found her mother wasn't one of the corpses.
By day 10, a large cut on her leg had grown infected and became a feeding ground for maggots.
It was the last horror she would endure before being rescued on the 11th day in Panama.
Waking from her sleep on her 11th day, Bethany heard voices nearby and pleaded for help.
Though shocked by the broken and bloodied woman, two men who happened in the area helped
her back to a nearby village.
Here, they tended to her wounds.
After Bethany returned home and reunited with her father, they called for a search to find
Michelle.
Within days of searching, her body was found, lifeless, cold, and a feast for the elements.
Interlude 1: A two-mile drop back down to Earth sounds
like a guaranteed death, but is it possible Bethany's seat actually broke her fall?
Having been injured and broken from the fall and left with little food, her 11-day survival
seems impossible, doesn't it?
Even if the fall didn't kill her, clearly the rainforest would.
Let us know what you think in the comments, but let's hold off on Bethany for now and
focus our attention on Luke Collins, a 15-year-old forced into a terrifying and deadly scenario.
On a camping trip with his father, Luke experienced the ferocity of nature and the unforgiving
temperament of life.
Story # 2: An Unbearable Encounter "Go, Luke!
Just go!"
Had the teenager been viewing the grizzly scene on a movie screen, he'd had felt the
tension and excitement of watching it unfold.
Standing there in the reality of it, watching a black bear approach his father, he only
felt fear.
His father had said black bears were timid, but this one had no qualms about approaching
the flailing, screaming man.
"Get to the car!"
Luke was frozen by the terror in his father's voice.
He couldn't run to the car.
His legs wouldn't move and he didn't even know where it was.
Luke had spent the entire walk through the New York wilderness snapping random photos
for Instagram.
The only thing that could get him to move was the first swipe from the bear that struck
his dad.
The grunt and pained yelp, a noise he can still hear years later, snapped him into action.
In that moment he ran towards the first place of safety he saw – a nearby, towering tree.
While the bear silenced its prey's screams, Luke ran as tears clouded his eyes.
He ran to the thick tree and started climbing.
His father never warned him about bears and that, if persistent enough, the beast would
follow him up the tree.
Luke climbed as high as he could and waited, his sobs giving him away.
The bear never came for him, though.
As the Sun fell from the sky, the bear left the scene, leaving behind the picked carcass
of Luke's father.
The teenager was thankful for nightfall and the dim stars.
He wouldn't have to see his father's corpse until sunrise.
The first sleepless night crept along and his terror and sorrow kept him locked in the
tree.
He just stared at the bloody mass on the ground and let the second day pass by without moving.
His body ached from the hard branch, but his limbs refused to function.
In the silence of the forest, he swore he could hear the bear growling nearby, just
waiting for him to come down.
By the third day, sleeplessness, hunger, and thirst plagued him.
As horrified by his father's death as he was, he couldn't let himself die in the
tree.
Through his fear, he forced himself to move.
With each rustling of leaves and crackling of the branches, he stopped to watch for the
bear's return.
Luckily, it never did, even as he fell to the ground with a thud when a branch broke.
Despite his body's screams of pain from the fall and lack of food or water, he didn't
think to stop and grab anything from the campsite.
Muscling through pain and exhaustion, the teenager pressed through the forest, not knowing
where he'd wind up.
He wanted to give up, collapse on the ground and let whatever creature of nature take him,
but something kept him going.
When he finally broke through the thick canopy and found himself staring down the county
road, he simply sat down and cried.
A few minutes would pass by before a truck driver happened Luke, ending his 3-day nightmare.
Could you imagine have to witness the tragedy of your father's death only to be forced
to survive the wilderness with limited survival skills and supplies?
Do you think a 15-year-old could really survive in the chill of the forest, a place filled
with hazards and hungry beasts?
We'd love to hear what you think, so head down to the comment section, but come back
quick because we have one last story to spin.
In this potentially fictitious tale, we meet United States Army Air Force pilot Elliot
Brenner and Imperial Japanese Navy pilot Mitsuo Isoroku.
In the heat of battle, the two find themselves forced to contemplate their odds of surviving
alone.
Story # 3: Surviving with the Enemy Brenner felt the hit before his Hellcat responded
to it, the engine sputtering as the hail of bullets threatened to drop him out of the
sky.
The young American pilot thought he could lose his interest if he flew far enough from
the conflict over Tarawa, but the incoming fire proved that effort to be futile.
Needing to get out of the enemy's line of fire, he attempted a last-ditch effort and
pitched the craft's nose towards the earth of a nearby island.
Just before a terrible noise filled his ears and his craft fell apart, he glimpsed the
sun shining off the golden sands of the unknown island.
When Brenner finally came to, he found himself surrounded by pieces of his Hellcat, most
of the metal frame torn apart by the Zero fighter that had been following him.
In a daze, he stepped out of the destroyed craft, but as his body and mind started to
become aware of what had happened, pain started to radiate from every part of his body.
In an instant, he could feel the shattered bone of his wrist, the gash in his lower leg,
and the small shards of shrapnel embedded in his arm.
He had been trained in basic first aid, but the gushing wound and his useless wrist were
more than he felt capable of fixing, especially as he threatened to slip out of consciousness.
With what strength he had, he rummaged through the wreckage for the kit.
The situation was grim, but Brenner refused to give up.
How he survived the first night was a miracle, but he was far from in the clear.
The island was quiet, and the sounds of war were nowhere to be found.
Even within the first day, food would be an issue if infection of his wounds didn't
take him out first.
The thoughts fluttered through his mind, pushed aside by only one thought – that of his
mother, devastated at the news of her son's death.
It was an image Brenner used to keep pushing.
Even as hunger weakened him further during his second day stranded and his fourth day
was spent cutting the infection from his leg, he used the thought to press on.
He ate what vegetation he found, drank the condensation from leaves, and waited.
By day five, his body was ready to quit and as his eyes struggled to remain open, he heard
something that sounded impossibly familiar.
As it came again, he felt reenergized one last time.
The cargo ship had been en route to Pearl Harbor from the Marshall Islands after Battle
of Tarawa ended when its crew spotted the smoke rising from the Hellcat wreckage.
Though an engine malfunction caused them to lose several days and the smoke had since
dissipated, captain's orders were to still investigate.
When Brenner was brought on board, he was close to death, but his rescuers kept him
grounded and nursed him until a proper hospital could care for him.
Though he didn't return to war, the young pilot supported his troops at Pearl Harbor
until the Japanese surrendered in 1945.
Stranded in the middle of the Pacific on an unknown island, how possible would it be for
an amateur pilot, especially one as injured as Brenner, to survive for an entire week?
Surely, he'd have rations to eat and some survival training, but would it be enough
to make this tale believable?
Leave a comment telling us what you think and remember your prior answers - because
it's time for the big reveal.
Are you ready to find out if you can decipher between fact or fiction?
Let's look back at tonight's three stories and find out which were born from reality
and which were fabrications of the imagination.
Do you recall the harrowing tale of Bethany, who fell two-miles from the sky onto the hard
ground of Panama?
Did you think this story was based on true events?
Though it may sound fantastical, it is very-much-so rooted in reality.
On December 24th, 1971, Juliane Koepcke was on LANSA Flight 508 over the Peruvian rainforest
when lightning struck the plane.
She did survive a two-mile fall and, sadly, her mother's body was recovered days after
her own rescue.
Now, if Bethany's story is true, then clearly Luke's tale is not that unbelievable, right?
Well if you thought our 2nd story was true, you'd be incorrect.
The horrific death of Luke's father and his three-day chance survival in a tree never
happened.
How about our third story?
In the height of World War II, did a United States pilot really crash land on an empty
island?
While many of the stories details maybe helped it sound real, if you think this one was factual,
then unfortunately, you're wrong.
Although plausible, there's no recorded dogfight that leads to a bruised and broken pilot being
stranded in the Marshall Islands.
How well did you do in tonight's video?
Did you look past the deception of our world and define the oft-blurred line that struggles
to separate lies from the truth?
Let us all know in the comment section below and should you find the urge to test your
perceptions again, be sure to subscribe and join us next time when we ask you to decide
what's fact... or fiction.

How to Make Macrame or Crochet Bobbins - Duration: 1:47.
So if you don't like making the bundles like this that
literally just fall out as you need it as you tug on it you can always use a clothes pin in order to secure it
as well.
Let me show you how to
set that up and therefore you can use that to be able to organize your yarn when you're doing all your macrame. So taking your
clothes pin just like you have this is the end of the strand.
This is the very last uh, part so this, this where it leads to is going right into the project itself.
So all you're just going to do is just open up your clothes pin and just put it down
before
it goes to this circle. So
okay, so there you see it, and now you're going to take the remaining of this yarn and just
like
snuggly or just securely just kind of wrap the rest of this. You don't want to wrap this to the point that you can't open
up your
clothes pin.
So you can take your whole cord depending on how long it is to be able to apply it to this and
then when you're satisfied with the length of it all you just need to do is that you just have to open up your
clothes pin, just like you see and then just pull the strand through that open circle
just like you see. So now your yarn strand can be held onto there and as you need one yarn
just open it up and just pull a few and then to lock it back in just open it back up and
just put it back inside.
So this would be how to use a clothes pin in order to control your cords and your strands from being able to
come apart on your project.

How To Grow A Kiwi Tree or Vine From Seed - 24 Months - Duration: 7:50.
hey everyone its Rob the backyard gardener and it's time for a Kiwi update
May third which was a couple days ago they turned two years old so I think the
last thing that I gave you they just started to break their buds from the
winter season so let's see how they're doing now before I show everyone Kiwi
vines I do want to remind everyone that I'm actually just growing these for fun
and if I happen to get flowers then great but it's gonna take a minimum four
to seven years for these Kiwi vines to even have flowers and then we also have
to hope that I have male and females so it's very possible that I could be
growing all these ten Kiwi plants and not one is a male plant and if that's
the case even if I flower I won't get any fruit but I'm not worried about that
today in the first couple years of Kiwi vines all you really want to do is train
them vertically and then get them slowly trained laterally now I've made a few
mistakes I've allowed some of them to wrap around things and again that's not
what you're trying to do you're trying to just grow one vertical leader up but
and we'll talk about that a little bit in the video but I'm not worried about
that right now I'm trying to establish deep roots and figure out which of the
leaders is going to be the front-runner and you can always heavily prune Kiwis
in the winter or in the offseason which is what we'll be doing for the video
today I'm just gonna show you how they're growing what they're doing talk
a little about how I'm training them and then some not even training at all I'm
really just letting them go wild alright enough of the rambling let's take a look
at these Kiwi vines that I've started from seed that are now two years old
we'll kick the video off this time with the one that's in between my Thompson
seedless grape vine so you can see that down here this is the one that I'm
really trying my best to grow into it the proper kind of canopy which is to
keep heavily pruning it down every year and have it kind of be a
like a straight up trunk and then like you would do with a grapevine you would
let it run laterally so that you can harvest or hope we have flowers and then
harvest some fruits so it's starting to fill up we've got several, matter of fact we
got a new vine coming up here amidst the older last year's vine but I wanted to
give you a look down here we have last year's trunk here and this year's trunk
here and I likely that's where it's breaking off at I likely will chop this
at the end of the year but for now we're gonna let these several trunks grow up
here all the way up just to keep getting at a fatter trunk and I'll eventually
decide which of the vertical vines is gonna be my leader every year I'll kind
of do that as this guy fills out anyway that's the first one here and then you
work all on this side of the yard we've got the same kind of action going on
here we've got several Kiwis plants growing
in here doing the same thing we've got a trunk down here with several leaders you
can even see a new shoot coming in right there I love the way the Kiwis the
foliage looks it's like furry it's beautiful look at this sorry for the
dirty hands I was doing some gardening here's another good end
look at how crazy that is beautiful gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous but this is
where the other ones are coming in at over here let me go and zoom back out
well again we're doing the same thing we're trying to train the branches up
vertically whoo you can see it's kind of a cluster there but the the concept here
guys is I'm gonna keep using these first four to seven years as just trying to
fatten up the trunk and establish the best leader possible you can see this
branch I went ahead and chopped it here didn't need to get any further we've got
another one shooting up here these guys are growing like crazy ideally and I
wish I had some pictures to show you guys but I don't have them for this
video maybe a future episode ideal like I said you want to keep trying to grow
them up into like a tree trunk and then when they get to the desired height 5 to
7 feet then you want to have them spread out laterally now some of these I'm
gonna use as ornamentals like this one I hear I do want it to go across and back
down on this side and I do want that because I want to kind of create a kind
of a cool entrance or I guess this way and escape in here with Kiwi vines and
flowers eventually but these things are bear to manage you can see they just
want to wrap around everything I'll probably do a nice topping on some of
these here in the next couple of months when they get out of control and then
we'll let them get one more growth spurt before the winter freeze again now that
you've seen these let me show you I have another one here in the greenhouse same
thing this guy's really coming in
beautiful foliage this is last year's dying trunk but I'm using him as just
support while the new one grows in let's go take a look at the other side of the
yard all right and here we have on this side of the yard and my other Kiwis so
we got the two down here that are in this box you got you can see another
beautiful little branch coming in right there they're so good-looking I love the
way they look got another one here coming in but more importantly guys I'm
just letting these guys do their thing this branch was already wrapped around
my magnolias probably have to chop that one down but take a look at this
they're absolutely growing out of control I love it and you recall that I
do want to have these as well go all the way across this side as well so it's
kind of a tangled mess I am still deciding how I want to trim these up I
don't want to do a lot of trimming right now because A they look beautiful and
B allowing them to kind of go crazy helps develop stronger root system and
fatter trunks now eventually I have to decide what to do with these guys
because it's already grown pretty strong into this wire but that's what I want
and I wanted to kind of get it get it up away from the tree and spread out it'll
be a couple more years before these guys even consider flowering guys so that's
not the mission today the mission today is just to give you an update after two
years see how well they're spread out see how well they're growing and allow
them to kind of go a little bit crazy and fatten up their trunks and and be
even larger vines come the next year well there you have it everyone that is
my Kiwi trees grown from seed update two years old at the end of the day I hope
you're enjoying the series I'm not allowed to update you today I just
wanted to give you some a look at them on how they're doing after they've done
more than just break their buds from the last video the next video in about a
month is when I'll start doing some pruning and probably some feeding and
we'll get more into that at the next video hope you enjoyed the video if you
did please give it a thumbs up and as always thanks for watching
you
