AI WARNING as self-driving car 'collides with oncoming vehicle'
The van — operated by Waymo — was involved in a crash near Chandler, Arizona.

Waymo is a self-driving firm linked to the parent company of Google.
Police say the crash happened Friday afternoon local time after a Honda sedan swerved to avoid another vehicle, and hit the self-driving van.
"" In a statement, a spokesman for Chandler police said: There was an occupant in the Waymo vehicle sitting in the drivers seat, who sustained minor injuries.
Both the Waymo vehicle and the Honda were towed from the scene.
This incident is still under investigation. Accidents involving self-driving vehicles have raised questions over whether the technology is ready for testing with the public.
Chandler has seen at least three accidents involving Waymo autonomous vehicles in the past two years involving human drivers hitting the self-driving cars.
As a result, Arizona governor Doug Ducey ordered the testing of Uber cars to be suspended but didnt ban all self-driving vehicles.
Uber has suspended self-driving operations elsewhere while it investigates the crash.
Responding to the crash, Waymo said in a statement: Our team's mission is to make our roads safer—it is at the core of everything we do and motivates every member of our team.
"We are concerned about the well-being and safety of our test driver and wish her a full recovery." Last month, Waymo CEO John Krafcik said he had confidence his companys technology was robust enough to handle situations like that one.
