This Apple iPhone X rumor is actually great news for the Google Pixel 3 ● Tech News ● #TECH - Duration: 2:07.

The second half of the year will bring us a bunch of new flagship handsets, including

the Galaxy Note 9, new iPhone models, and the Pixel 3.

In fact, we're now seeing rumors detailing these products on a daily basis.

But it's rare to see a report about the next-gen iPhone bring good news to Pixel fans

looking forward to buying one of this year's Pixel 3 handsets.

A report from the South China Morning Post says that Apple is considering using LG Display-made

OLED screens in between 2 million and 4 million iPhone X Plus units.

This isn't the first time LG is rumored to be joining Samsung when it comes to OLED

suppliers for the iPhone, but LG is apparently closer than ever to landing the deal.

How is this important to Google and the Pixel fan base?

Well, the Pixel 3 XL, which will have an iPhone X-like design, is said to pack an OLED screen

made by LG.

Last year's Pixel 2 XL also had an LG OLED screen on board, but that screen was the source

of unexpected controversies.

Various performance issues forced early reviewers to rethink their conclusions.

Google heard the criticism and issued software updates to fix the various problems.

The Pixel 2, which packs a Samsung OLED screen, wasn't affected by the same problems.

In fact, Samsung at a time ran a TV commercial about the quality of its own OLED screens.

If Apple is happy with LG's display tech, then it must mean the South Korean company

has made significant improvements when it comes to building OLED screens for smartphones.

LG, of course, already makes excellent OLED screens for TVs, so it's about time we see

LG OLED screens in more handsets, 2018 iPhone models included.

PUBG vs Fortnite, Google Gaming Console, Halo TV Series! -- Weekly Download #100 - Duration: 4:39.

Hey welcome to Zach's Tech Turf and our 100th episode of Weekly Download.

I can not believe we're already on episode 100, that's crazy.

I don't really have anything special planned, sorry for that.

But in today's episode I'm gonna be playing my new addiction Diablo 3 while I give you

the news, I got my cup of coffee right there, make sure you guys let me know what you're

sippin on, let's get into it.

To start off the tech news for the week, more and more rumors are starting to pile up indicating

that Google is trying to jump into the gaming industry, something that they surprisngly

haven't done yet, by making their own console.

I don't think we are anywhere close to getting any real announcements about this, but apparently

they are looking to acquire some major gaming companies and creating a streaming based console.

This would be similar to something like Nvidia's GeForce Now, make sure you check that video

out if you haven't by the way, but either way, these are just rumors.

Speaking of rumors apparently there was a naming leak at Intel that indicate their plans

for the next generation of mainstream CPUs.

In this list of leaked names was a core i9 9900K, i7 9700k, and an i5 9600K.

If ture, this is actually pretty crazy because this means that Intel plans to bring their

Core i9 CPU to the mainstream seres.

The list also suggests that it's an 8 core 16 thread chip and that's pretty much all

we know about it so far.

Next up a startup company called Plexus is working on creating Virtual Reality gloves

for the Vive and Rift that will bring individual finger control to a whole new level.

Priced at just $250 these look like they could provide about as realistic of a motion as

possible and the cool part is that they aren't actual gloves that will make your hands get

all sweaty.

This is still being development and has a ways before it's implemented but I'm definitely

rooting for this.

Moving on to something I'm definitely not rooting for, an article floating around has

indicated that Nvidia's new G-Sync HDR module chipe will add a $500 price tag to monitors.

As I'm sure most of you know by now, the two main types of adaptive sync in monitors

are Free Sync and GSync.

GSync monitor usually costs anywhere from $200-$300 more purely because the chips are

only sold by Nvidia, and this is why most people tend to go with a FreeSync monitor,

even if they have an Nvidia graphics card.

Well now that HDR is getting more mainstream, the GSync HDR chip is looking at a $500 bump

up in price which is just absolutely insane and probably something that I'll personally

never buy.

And to wrap up the tech news fo the week, Corsair announced this week that they acquired

the Elgato gaming division.

There's not much to report here, you probably know these 2 companies very well, and it definitely

seems like a good purchase for Corsair.

Corsair has been really stepping up their game lately with peripherals, and Elgato has

been dominating in their consumer friendly game streaming products as well.

I'm actually gonna review the Elgato HD60 here soon on the channel, I know I'm late

to the party but this thing has completely changed my workflow and I need to share this

with you guys.

To start off the PC gaming news for the week, it seems like Blizzard hit the nail on the

head with this latest Overwatch patch that added an LFG tool and endorsements.

To combat the toxicity that's been floating around Overwatch, and pretty much every competitive

game at this point, the LFG tool allows you to find other like-minded players to play

with, and then you can use the endorsement system to rate players on their behavior.

Apparently the community is really happy with this and it sounds pretty great.

Next up, Showtime announced this week that they purchased 10 episodes of a Halo live

action series which means we will finally see some Halo action on the TV.

The Showtime CEO even said that "Halo is our most ambitious series ever and in the

history of televesion, there simply has never been enough great science fiction."

I don't know too much more about this, I know people have been trying to get this green

lit for almost a decade now, but either way I'm kinda excited.

And to wrap up our very short week of PC gaming news, not much really happened this week to

be honest, and that's why I'm reporting some very boring news that PUBG Corp has is

no longer suing Epic Games for the whole PUBG/Fortnite thing and that may just be the end of that.

Sorry guys, did I miss anything newsworthy in PC gaming this week?

Let me know.

Well that wraps up Weekly Download episode number 100.

Don't forget that the Weekly Download podcast is also available on platforms like Google

Play, iTunes, and iHeart Radio.

Well I hope you guys enjoyed this video, please drop a like down below to help support my

didn't write it down so the problem is is if you want to update your passwords

you have to know the old password so I found this little trick that makes it

pretty easy so what you do is you go to your Chrome settings passwords and forms

I'll leave the link down below hit enter okay so now we're going to now that

we're on settings passwords and forms we're gonna hit manage passwords here's

the magic so you see all of these websites and if I hit the eyeball it

will actually show my password so the cool part now what it will do is will

make you authenticate with your Windows password so let's go ahead and do it for

ASANA - Sync with Google Calendar - Duration: 2:15.

Hi there!

It's Laura here from laurainorder.com and I want to show you a really quick and easy

step behind can sync your Asana projects to your calendar.

I'm going to show you with Google Calendar but you can also do it with your iCal or your Outlook

Calendar or other things as well.

So here I am in my Asana, this is my general "to-do" list and you see I've assigned these

tasks to myself and they've also got due dates next to them so that means that when I sync

it with my calendar are things will appear in my calendar with those due dates against them.

So at the top here I'm just going to click on this little project actions down arrow

and then I'm going to go down the bottom here to 'Export Print' and then choose 'Sync to Calendar'.

By default, you're going to go to the Google Calendar tab but you've also got the option

there for iCal or Outlook or Other Calendars.

I'm going to use Google Calendar.

So I'm going to grab this link here and just copy that.

I'm going to come across into my Google Calendar window and on the left hand side here, I've

got the option to 'Add Other Calendars'.

So I'm just going to click at the '+' and then I'm going to choose 'From URL' and all

I have to do is just paste the URL that I've just copied from Asana into this box.

I don't want to make it publicly visible so I'm just going to click add and then that

will add the calendar!

You'll see that's popped out down here on the left-hand side and with my other available

calendars and then I've just got out of settings, you'll see now that my 'Make Stuff Happen'

calendar is now appearing as all-day task at the top of my calendar.

So it's really handy as I see for keeping track of those important things that you need to do.

For me you can see that this week I need to back up my website and also send my fortnightly newsletter.

So it just gives you another opportunity to see when does tasks are popping up even if when you're not going into Asana.

So hope that that was helpful.

I'd love for you to share your comments below and let me know how you got on.

Thanks!

Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Google Doodle - Duration: 1:55.

Today The Search Engine Google is showing a Doodle for Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz.

Today in a few countries Google celebrate Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz's 372nd Birthday.

Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz was born on 1st July 1646, he was a German intellectual who

wrote mostly in French and Latin.

He played an important role in both philosophy and mathematics.

He invented calculus independently of Newton, and his notation is the one in general use

since then.

He also invented the binary system, foundation of modern computers.

He was taught law and philosophy.

He served as secretary to two major German noble houses: one became the British royal

family while he served it.

Leibniz played a major role in the European politics and diplomacy of his day.

In philosophy, he is most remembered for optimism.

He thought our universe is the best possible one God could have made.

He was one of the great 17th century rationalists.

René Descartes and Baruch Spinoza are the other two.

His philosophy also both looks back to the Scholastic tradition and anticipates modern

logic and analysis.

Leibniz also made contributions to physics and technology, and anticipated ideas which

surfaced much later in biology, medicine, geology, probability theory, psychology, and

information science.

He wrote on politics, law, ethics, theology, history, and philology.

Sometimes he even wrote in verse.

His contributions are scattered in journals and in tens of thousands of letters and unpublished

manuscripts.

There is no complete edition of Leibniz's writings, and a complete account of his accomplishments

is not yet possible.

He died on 14th November 1716.

Google weeps as its home state of California passes its own GDPR - Duration: 10:29.

California has become the first state in the US to pass a data privacy law – with governor Jerry Brown signing the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 into law on Thursday

The legislation will give new rights to the state's 40 million inhabitants, including the ability to view the data that companies hold on them and, critically, request that it be deleted and not sold to third parties

It's not too far off Europe's GDPR.  Any company that holds data on more than 50,000 people is subject to the law, and each violation carries a hefty $7,500 fine

Needless to say, the corporations that make a big chunk of their profits from selling their users' information are not overly excited about the new law

"We think there's a set of ramifications that's really difficult to understand," said a Google spokesperson, adding: "User privacy needs to be thoughtfully balanced against legitimate business needs

"  Likewise tech industry association the Internet Association complained that "policymakers work to correct the inevitable, negative policy and compliance ramifications this last-minute deal will create

"  So far no word from Facebook, which put 1.5 billion users on a boat to California back in April in order to avoid Europe's similar data privacy regulations

Don't worry if you are surprised by the sudden news that California, the home of Silicon Valley, has passed a new information privacy law – because everyone else is too

And this being the US political system there is, of course, an entirely depressing reason for that

Another part of the statement by the Internet Association put some light on the issue: "Data regulation policy is complex and impacts every sector of the economy, including the internet industry," it argues

"That makes the lack of public discussion and process surrounding this far-reaching bill even more concerning

The circumstances of this bill are specific to California." I see.  So this bill was rushed through?  Yes, it was

And what's more it was signed in law on Thursday by Governor Brown just hours after it was passed, unanimously, by both houses in Sacramento

What led lawmakers to push through privacy legislation at almost unheard-of speed? A ballot measure

That's right, since early 2016, a number of dedicated individuals with the funds and legislative know-how to make data privacy a reality worked together on a ballot initiative in order to give Californians the opportunity to give themselves their own privacy rights after every other effort in Sacramento and Washington DC has been shot down by the extremely well-funded lobbyists of Big Tech and Big Cable

Real estate developer Alastair Mactaggart put about $2m of his own money into the initiative following a chance conversation with a Google engineer in his home town of Oakland in which the engineer told him: "If people just understood how much we knew about them, they'd be really worried

"  Mactaggart then spoke with a fellow dad at his kid's school, a finance guy called Rick Arney who had previously worked in the California State Senate, about it

And Arney walked him through California's unusual ballot measure system where anyone in the state can put forward an initiative and if it gets sufficient support will be put on the ballot paper at the next election

If a ballot initiative gets enough votes, it becomes law. There have been some good and some bad outcomes from this exercise in direct democracy over the years but given the fact that both Mactaggart and Arney felt that there was no way a data privacy law would make its way through the corridors of power in Sacramento in the normal way, given the enormous influence of Silicon Valley, they decided a ballot measure was the way to go

Beware the policy wonk  One other individual is worth mentioning: Mary Stone Ross was a former CIA employee and had been legal counsel for the House of Representatives Intelligence Committee and she also lives in Oakland

Mactaggart persuaded her to join the team to craft the actual policy and make sure it could make it through the system

Together the three of them then spend the next year talking to relevant people, from lawyers to tech experts to academics to ordinary citizens to arrive at their overall approach and draft the initiative

And it is at that point that, to be put in bluntly, the shit hit the fan. Because the truth is that consumers – and especially Californians who tend to be more tech-savvy than the rest of the country given the concentration of tech companies in the state – understand the issues around data privacy rules and they want more rights over it

With the initiative well structured and the policy process run professionally, the ballot measure gained the required number of supporters to get it on the ballot

And thanks to the focus groups and polls the group carried out, they were confident that come November it would pass and data privacy become law through direct democracy

At which point, it is fair to say, Big Internet freaked out and made lots of visits to lawmakers in Sacramento who also freaked out

The following months have seen a scurry of activity but if you want to know why the bill became law in almost record time and was signed by Governor Brown on Thursday all you need to know is this single fact: the deadline for pulling the initiative from November's ballot as last night – Thursday evening – and Mactaggart said publicly that if the bill was signed, he would do exactly that and pull his ballot measure

Privy see  You may be wondering why Sacramento was able to get it through unanimously without dozens of Google and Facebook-funded lawmakers continually derailing the effort, especially since it was still a ballot measure

After all, the tech giants could have spent millions campaigning against the measure in a bid to make sure people didn't vote for it

And the truth is that they had already lined up millions of dollars to do exactly that

Except they were going to lose because, thanks to massively increased public awareness of data privacy given the recent Facebook Russian election fake news scandal and the European GDPR legislation, it was going to be very hard to push back against the issue

And it has been structured extremely well – it was, frankly, good law.  There is another critical component: laws passed through the ballot initiative are much, much harder for lawmakers to change, especially if they are well structured

So suddenly Big Tech and Sacramento were faced with a choice: pass data privacy legislation at record speed and persuade Mactaggart to pull his ballot initiative with the chance to change it later through normal legislative procedures; or play politics as usual and be faced with the same law but one that would be much harder to change in future

And, of course, they went with the law. And Mactaggart, to his eternal credit, agreed to pull his ballot measure in order to allow the "normal" legislative approach to achieve the same goal

And so the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 is now law and today is the first day that most Californians will have heard of it

Sausage making at its finest.  Of course, Google, Facebook et al are going to spend the next decade doing everything they can trying to unravel it

And as we saw just last week, lawmakers are only too willing to do the bidding of large corporate donors

But it is much harder to put a genie back in the bottle than it is to stop it getting out

®

Math & Boolean Operators for Beginners - Google Sheets - Duration: 2:53.

How to turn from a pure beginner to begin learning Advanced Skills

in just an hour.

I'm Cian Xan, keep watching.

You probably learn math already at your school, I'm not sure if it is necessary for me to

teach you again, if you did master it already then this is going to be redundant.

So let's go through some basic, You need to know Arithmetic, an example of

that is 2*(4x+6)=8x+12.

Here are some simple rules, we priorities the value in the bracket first,

Second, the unary expression (that is the negative sign you have in front of a negative

number) Third is multiplication and division,

Lastly.

addition and subtraction.

Besides, you also need to know Algebra.

It is not so important but when you are solving a problem, you need to know how to move the

terms around the equation to form the final formula.

It is a part of the problem solving process.

And the equation you are dealing with is dependent on the field of your work.

The second section of this lecture is Boolean Operators.

Some of you have very good idea of what are the math operators.

In case you don't know, these are the math operators you can use in Google Sheets to

express a math formula.

Boolean Operators are similar to Math Operators but they have different meaning and the elements

of the expression is different as well.

Instead of using number, the element is either TRUE or FALSE.

You also can use Boolean Value which is either 1 or 0.

AND operator is only TRUE when both elements are TRUE.

You can check the Truth Table for all the possible combinations

The second one is OR operator.

It is TRUE when either of the elements is TRUE.

Last but not least, XOR, which means Exclusive OR.

It is only TRUE when one of the elements is TRUE.

This is the complete truth table.

Pause the video and check it out.

With the basic of Math & Boolean.

Now you can try different kind of IF() and get out-of-the-box results.

Thank you for watching and I see you in the next video.
