But he followed her outside where he continued to shout at her before biting her nose three times, causing minor injuries, Cambridgeshire Live reports.

The missing items, which Driver started the argument over, came from popular food shops Aldi and Iceland.

Driver, of no fixed abode, appeared at last Thursday (December 20) after pleading guilty to causing actual bodily harm.

He was handed a 15-month sentence and also made the subject of a five-year restraining order against the victim.

PC Steven McCorquodale said: "Driver is a violent man with a short temper.

"The attack was unprovoked and left the victim understandably shaken."

Disabled Lush customer felt like "a bit of furniture" on Christmas shopping trip - Duration: 9:50.

A young wheelchair user has called for better treatment of disabled people following her Christmas shopping nightmare this festive season

Michaela Hollywood took a shopping trip to Belfast ahead of December 25 in hope of buying presents for loved ones

But the Spinal Muscular Atrophy sufferer said she was left feeling "dehumanised" and "like a bit of furniture" following issues at Lush and then New Look

"It was really frustrating for me, my mum and my sister," Michaela told Belfast Live

Boy, 8, ticks off bucket list of things to do before he goes blind  The Muscular Dystrophy UK Trailblazers worker said was "just gutted" when Lush staff ordered her removal from the till queue because she was "blocking the isle"

"I had a few last minute gifts to get and we made the trip into Belfast on Sunday," she explained

"The first shop we went to was Lush and the girl took me by the hand round the shop and helped me to get everything I needed

"She brought me to the till and they were waiting there for me

"  But that was when she said things took a turn for the worse because of the condition that killed her sister and left her needing a wheelchair her whole life

"We were second from the end and the staff member on the end till shouted 'here, someone tell her to move out of the way, she's blocking the isle'," Michaela added

"It's just not right." Double murderer's ex 'faces being homeless at Christmas' after being kicked out of flat    After a conversation with her mum, Michaela said she moved, but the situation just got worse

"As I moved away the girl at the till said that was £100 and my mum said 'it's not my card, it's her card' but she's now down there because you told her to move

"She said again, 'it's £100 are you going to pay?'  "My mum said 'it's not my card, the girl paying for it is down there - you've asked her to move'

"Then she asked her again."  Eventually they were able to pay for Michaela's goods and get out of the shop, feeling a lot worse than when they went in

But she said she then ran into further problems in New Look, where the accessible changing room was being used by a woman with children

There were three empty stalls beside the accessible one and someone had gone into the accessible one with two children," she continued

"I was waiting there for at least 12 minutes

"  Michaela said she started to try her clothes on in the "corridor over my own clothes" and "at that point the staff member asked her to move"

"She moved into the stall at the side which is what she should have done in the first place," Michaela added

"New Look have got back to me and told me their policy is that someone with children can use the accessible stall, but those individuals have a number of options available to them and I have none

"  The Crossgar woman said she would like Belfast shops, staff and people to think about those with limited mobility and how to make the city a more welcoming place for them

"Belfast isn't really welcoming to disabled customers at Christmas," she added

 "But I think it's something that's ongoing

What happened in New Look, happened me in New Look in Downpatrick as well in summer

"It just seems to be the attitudes of individual staff and individual stores

The policies aren't right. We need more accessible changing rooms and a better way to pay

"In Primark I can go to the end and they will let me pay there

If Lush are having problems, they could do something like that

"It's better than being treated like a bit of furniture that needed moved out of the way

It was so dehumanising.  "Lush are built on a foundation of inclusion and that's one of the reasons I like them so much - but having an experience like that in their shop is really disheartening

"  New Look told Michaela: "We do understand it is very frustrating having to wait for this fitting room however if the accessible fitting room is not available we are unable to request a customer to leave straight away

"We do aim for all of our stores and facilities to be as accessible as possible and as accommodating for all of our customers needs and I am sorry that this was not the case when you first reached the fitting rooms

"  A Lush spokesperson said: "Being busy at Christmas is no excuse for our customer service to be any less than its usual standard

Michaela's experience with us has been far from perfect and for that we sincerely apologise

We will ensure we learn the lessons from this incident
