is known in history as a talk show host, television producer, media executive, and philanthropist.
Moving on to fact number two, although many fans know her by Oprah that was not her name
at birth.
She was named Orpah after a character in the bible.
Checking out fact number three it still has something to do with her name.
That is because with her production company it is named after Oprah.
Oprah's production company is called Harpo Productions which is Oprah spelled backward.
When talking about fact number four Oprah is very beautiful.
In fact, her beauty was recognized in a beauty pageant.
That is where Oprah won the Miss Black Tennessee Beauty Pageant when she was 17 years old and
was also the first African-American star to be on the cover of Vogue.
Talking about fact number five Oprah started breaking barriers at a young age.
For example at age 19, while still a sophomore in college, Winfrey became the youngest and
first African-American anchor for WTVF-TV in Nashville
Now with Oprah, many people recognize her from her time dominating daytime television
with her talk show, but she was also recognized for her work in film.
With fact number six, after playing a feisty role in the Steven Spielberg film, "The Color
Purple," she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
Fact number seven is super cool with a nickname that she is known by.
Because of her success in the world of media Oprah is also known by her nickname the, "Queen
of Media."
Speaking of media with fact number eight Oprah has interview plenty of famous people.
By doing so one of her interviewed stood out with Michael Jackson.
This interview was so big that it became one of the most watched interviews of all time.
Talking about fact number nine Oprah is known for giving back and helping others around
the world.
For doing this she was recognized by the White House.
That is where in 2013, Winfrey was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President
Barack Obama.
With our tenth and final fact Oprah knows how to what some might say get that bag.
That is because Oprah is very wealthy and the first African American woman to reach
Billionaire Status.
