What is a legal hackathon? (Music City Legal Hackathon 2017 @ Vanderbilt Law School) - Duration: 3:35.

So, legal hackers is five years old.

It started in New York City for a legal clinic at Brooklyn Law School that was focused on

pro bono legal services for early-stage tech start-ups.

Since then, it has grown.

Now we have 60 chapters around the world.

These chapters host monthly events on all sorts of issues, but a lot of them come down

to the things we were talking about today.

Things like disability access.

Things like access to justice, the blockchain, smart contracts, come up all the time.

I was talking yesterday to two co-organizers in Croatia who were starting their chapters.

Week before that in Kiev, in the Ukraine, a week before that from Ghana, week before

that in Hong Kong.

So this is happening all around the world.

So, as you guys work today and as you guys come up with your solutions today realize

that they feed into a global movement and the thing that you post, let's say they all

get posted up on GitHub, could be used in a far-off jurisdiction to solve some of the

problems of who you've never met in a place where you've never been so this is really

really powerful.

All the credit goes to you guys for putting this on.

The great sponsors and the great stakeholder and the participants, Code for Nashville is

amazing as well, So, thank you, guys, for putting this on.

In general, a hackathon is a community-building event.

It's a wonderful opportunity to get people of disparate professions and crafts together

to learn about one another's context and share skills in pursuit of something.

There's immense value in bring together members of the legal industry and the tech industry,

broadly speaking, so that they can learn new ways of thinking about old and new problems.

That's the thing I take away from this, is learning to adapt the hackathon model to focus

less on creating software and more on providing value in all kinds of different ways.

Jump in!

Find a local hacker group of some sort.

Finding just regular meetings of clubs that focus on different issues.

Some will be organized around different technologies and some will be organized around different

sectors or ares of focus.

If you want to get involved, there's no better way of doing that than just doing it.

Fuzzrocious Pedals: An Introduction | Quest Musique / Quest Music Store - Duration: 5:21.

Hey guys.

Sam here from Quest Musique.

Welcome back to our channel.

Thank you again for checking out our last video.

We're going to keep things steady today and check out something a bit different.

We're going to take a look at Fuzzrocious Pedals, and Eric is going to tell you a little

bit about those.

Thanks, Sam!

Today we'll be looking at Fuzzrocious pedals.

It's a husband and wife team that make them out of New Jersey.

He makes the pedals, she paints them and today we're going to be checking out a few of the

pedals that they've made and the first one that we'll be checking out is the Demon.

The Demon overdrive is a low to mid gain overdrive and it kind of sometimes borders on heavy

distortion.

So it has the volume, tone, and drive which you can go from kind of just on the verge

of break up to full on distortion.

The next pedal we'll be looking at is the Cat Tail and this is mid gain to heavy distortion

and border lining or verging over to the fuzz pedal.

It turns a clean amp heavy and a heavy amp absolutely insane and it's great for any guitarist

or any bassists to put on their board.

The next pedal we'll be looking at is the Grey Stache fuzz.

This is absolutely amazing.

It's based off the Civil War Fuzz from the 90's, Electro Harmonix time.

One thing that I really like there's a mid boost or cut, which is awesome that they don't

have on the fuzz pedals and this is also great for guitar or bass.

And it also has some sustain that you can actually get a pretty good overdrive sound.

Now we're going to be looking at the Anomalies pedal which is the first delay from Fuzzrocious.

It's a lo-fi delay and it's actually a glitch delay as well.

Which the switch here you can actually double or reduce your delay time by 50% by using

the momentary switch.

And also there's internal trim pots for your wet/dry signal and also for your delay speed.

Now we're coming to one of my favourite pedals that the Fuzzrocious line has and that's the

Afterlife reverb.

So what's cool about this pedal is that there is a momentary switch for the self-oscillation

and there's 2 outputs.

One to go to a clean amp, the other to go to a full wet reverb sound.

Thanks for tuning into our channel.

It's always nice to be able to highlight a small company who's doing something a little

bit different than the norm.

If you have any questions about Fuzzrocious Pedals, come check us out at QuestMusicStore.com.

Thanks for checking our channel.

*cough cough*.

My freaking throat closed up.

Hahahaha.

Alright let's do it one more time.

And or even come to our store and come talk to us.

BTS at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards - Duration: 9:46.

Welcome to teatime with Miki and Aarin.

Today we're discussing BTS's appearance at the

Billboard Music Awards

Let's start from the beginning!

So, the magenta carpet...

Not the RED carpet, but basically.

From the minute that they stepped out of the car,

like...they took over the place.

Let's talk about their looks.

Oh my gosh.

Now, Vogue magazine put an article about

best-dressed boy-band.

Sorry.

Best-dressed artist, period.

Come on. For real.

I think they took some risks,

especially like Taehyung had his pinstriped [jacket] with the polka dots

J-Hope had...I love J-Hope's shoes!

I thought each of their looks fit their personality.

Yeah.

Even, I mean, Rap Monster--

We have a photo in front of us right now.

He had pretty plain...it was just like a white T-shirt

with a black jacket.

Jungkook obviously went like classic,

black and white, the skinny black tie.

Jin was black on black and so was Suga,

Their looks were so different, again,

like you said, they fit their personalities.

Jimin, kind of similar to Rapmon,

Sorry...

Fangirling over outfits...

Whoever styled them...

and I don't know if they have any input

into what they wear, but good job, whoever picked it out.

Fantastic.

Two thumbs up.

Five thumbs up.

Even their hair. It was all--

I mean, nobody has crazy colors right now.

But...

(♥.♥) (♥.♥)

So, like, who was not screaming the whole time...

Every time they were on.

Every time.

I was like, glued. Watching the broadcast.

And every time it like panned past them

in the audience even

I was like WAAAHHHH!!!

Even though it's in the background, I was like

"I see them!"

Fangirling, down.

So.

Yes!

The actual ceremony

I don't watch awards shows.

Never.

I think this is the first time watching a Billboard.

Yeah.

Music Award, for me.

I was like "Oh...this is what happens. OK."

This was my only motivation, really,

to watch an awards show.

Social media

Uh huh

Like, just blew up.

After--even during their

even during their appearance.

All I was doing was being on social media

I was on different apps.

that like, like Amino was one of them.

Twitter, constantly, like "Who are these guys?"

But I was just keeping up with all of us fans

to be part of that

because we're all like so excited.

we're posting, like "Oh my god did you see like 2 seconds they were on TV!"

And I'm like "I KNOW!"

Yeah, it was just so nice

and like we--I knew they were gonna win

because they were posting like how many votes

which was AMAZING.

Like, landslide.

We did amazing, guys.

Wow.

Like...[claps]

This is to all A.R.M.Y.'s

Power of K-pop fandom...

Not hating on Justin Bieber,

but apparently he's been winning the Social Artist award since 2011.

I don't follow him on social media at all, so...

and I'm just trying to not be offensive, but

BTS broke that [streak]. WOO!

Because he was the consecutive--since 2011--and then 2017.

See, I didn't even know that.

Yeah. People were posting that.

People were like, Justin Bieber, Justin Bieber, then like BTS!

YES!

They deserve it though, because really, the--

It was like 300 million (votes) or something.

Yeah.

It was just crazy.

Well I know a lot of people were like,

"Oh they just had so many fans that--"

But YEAH!

They do have a lot of fans who are voting for them.

And they have a lot of people who love them

and not only that, but

the fact is, they're so active

on social media.

And

I think that it really serves as a way for them to

connect to their fans

and they're really good at that.

They want to include their fans

not only just like in concerts

at kind of arms-length.

But right here.

They all, each member participates in that

and they really do make an effort to do that frequently.

I think that they deserve it.

They don't seem so far away.

By doing so, I feel like all of their fans feel more closer.

And that's part of what makes you just absolutely

fall for them

is, their personality comes through so much more in that

I mean, come on, every time somebody was getting

an award, they were standing up and clapping.

standing up, standing ovation.

I mean in Korea that's what they do, but

They're so respectful.

So respectful and they were just humble and like

Rapmon's speech, I mean

I think I was tearing up.

I cried.

You straight up cried.

No shame, I cried!

I was like "Oh my gosh, I'm so proud!"

I know he was very nervous

because it kind of falls on him to, you know

be the spokesperson for BTS.

He did such an incredible job and he was

was so respectful and humble and really portrayed

--It was the perfect speech.

like, what they're all about.

And the first word out of his mouth was A.R.M.Y.

And I just love that.

They're so sweet, they're ALL so humble.

It was such a great moment

to see them honored like that.

Obviously, I was secretly hoping they were going to perform.

I knew they weren't going to, but somehow there was

like this tiny, itsy-bitsy hope that maybe

they would surprise us with a performance.

It didn't happen, but...

Who was it?

Drake.

Drake was performing with the water fountains

on the circular stage in the middle of the thing,

whatever it was.

And I think there were even flames.

I was like, "BTS would look so good on that stage!"

And it's unrealistic to expect that.

This is not, you know.

But still they would have done amazing

and blown everybody else away.

I, yeah.

Maybe next time! Maybe next time.

Yeah.

I mean, and I'm so glad that they're becoming

more and more successful.

More and more people--I mean after

this people are looking them up,

I'm sure so many people went to YouTube and watched

their stuff.

It's great to see them getting that exposure

and I know that this means they'll have even more

success in the future, especially

as they're gaining more fans.

And I know a lot of people may have seen them--

I kept seeing on Twitter, like, "who's the guy on the left?"

or "Who's this guy?" you know.

"Third guy on the left" was Jin.

But even if somebody like just goes

"Oh he's cute" and then searches

and actually gets into their music

and hears how good they are

and what they're all about...

then, you know, even if a fan is gained that way

I think that still, it still

shows like how appealing they are

And I don't think they realize

in America, how small of an Asian musicians and artists

are representative, they're very few.

To see the general population have a little bit

more exposure,

I think that that opens the door

Yeah.

to prompt people to maybe like, want to educate themselves.

and be interested in other cultures.

No matter how it begins,

even if your introduction is

one sighting of a K-pop group

at a music awards show,

you know, that can be just a start.

Hopefully that really does like perk their interest

and realize that there's so many other music

out there.

And so many other things out there that

you could be enjoying!

They put so much effort into their social media

and do such a great job at it,

I'm so happy that they got this award.

Yes. So congratulations to BTS!

You are so deserving.

So if your first exposure to BTS was at this year's

Billboard Music Awards,

check out the links that we have put in the description.

We've put some for their music,

you should absolutely listen to it, it's so worth it.

And also for their social media, so you can see

just why they won this award.

OpenScore - Join the sheet music revolution! - Duration: 4:04.

People have been writing music on paper for hundreds of years,...

...but when a composer puts pen to paper,...

...melodies that lived and breathed in the composer's imagination become lifeless, static and silent.

Centuries of music lies trapped between pages, waiting to be rediscovered.

OpenScore will bring sheet music to life by creating...

...new digital editions of history's most influential pieces,...

...which you can actually listen to, edit and share.

Students learning to read music will be able to hear how it sounds as they follow the notes in the score.

Budding composers will be able to produce new arrangements and medleys.

And there are no copyright restrictions,...

...so you can make unlimited copies to send to friends and family,...

...and even publish and sell your own arrangements without paying a penny.

The iconic works of Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, and other as yet undiscovered composers,...

...will be free for everyone to use, for any purpose, forevermore.

OpenScore will bring together the two largest sheet music communities: MuseScore and IMSLP.

The IMSLP community searches for old musical editions...

...in libraries and private collections around the world.

Old editions have no copyright— they're in the public domain—...

...so our users scan and post them to IMSLP where everybody has access.

MuseScore is the world's most popular music notation software.

Together with our community,...

...we want to take the old editions and transform them from pictures of pages...

...into interactive scores, which you can listen to, edit and share.

An OpenScore Edition is a digital file with clean lines and crisp lettering,...

...which you can read on any device— phone, tablet, TV or computer—...

...and the music will reflow to fit the display.

Change font size, show or hide different instruments,...

...follow the score during playback, and mute voices to listen to your part on its own.

You can edit the files with MuseScore's free notation software for Windows, Mac and Linux,...

...or with any notation program that supports importing MusicXML.

Save online and share via YouTube and other platforms.

You can sync the score with a recording to replace the synthesized audio with real instruments.

And if you really need a printed copy, they look great on paper too.

Each OpenScore Edition will have a unique cover image designed by digital artist Nicholas Rougeux.

The cover image is a visual representation of the music in the score.

OpenScore Editions will be available in a variety of image, audio and video formats...

...to cater for a number of different uses.

The scores will also be available in Braille and Modified Stave Notation so, for the first time in history,...

...blind and partially sighted musicians will be able to read the most influential classical pieces too.

All OpenScore files will be released under a Creative Commons Attribution License,...

...which allows unlimited copying, adapting and sharing.

Digitising public domain music is a huge undertaking.

OpenScore will look to harness the entire online sheet music community...

...to produce crowdsourced transcriptions, which are fully checked and reviewed...

...to ensure accuracy with the original pieces.

By backing this effort, you get to have a say in which pieces get liberated.

You also have the option to dedicate a piece.

Your dedication will appear in all versions of the finished score.

Naruto Music Mix 🔼 Most Beautiful OST Compilation 🔼 - Duration: 31:13.

Twelve years before the start of the series, the Nine-Tails attacked Konohagakure destroying much of the village and taking many lives.

The leader of the village, the Fourth Hokage sacrificed his life to seal the Nine-Tails into a newborn, Naruto Uzumaki.

Orphaned by the attack, Naruto was shunned by the villagers, who out of fear and anger, viewed him as the Nine-Tails itself.

Though the Third Hokage outlawed speaking about anything related to the Nine-Tails, the children — taking their cues from their parents — inherited the same animosity towards Naruto.

In his thirst to be acknowledged, Naruto vowed he would one day become the greatest Hokage the village had ever seen.

[Russian Anthem plays]

These guys did their homework.

There is like so much going on I can't even like think right now.

- I wish this was my Science class. - Yeah!

This is the craziest I've ever seen like Science presented, ever, this is insane.

The music is fantastic!

If only I had this when I was in high school!

That's a good point!

That's the revolution!

Why couldn't my school be like this?

That's World War II!

We just ran through World War II.

Whoever did this did a very, very good job.

Space race!

Oooh, we are about to head over tooo... ...americaaaa!

Wow! That was a good video!

This is all you need before every History final.

It's kind of emotional. Like when you watch it all together like that you're like "Wow, a lot of stuff has happened on Earth!"

It hits the education and it hits the humour and it hit like it... it literally makes the rounds really fast, every few seconds.

Just replace all of our educational systems with these videos!

What I've seen I liked.

I think kids CAN learn from it.

Looking back at it it's so fun and feels like you're on drugs. You don't even have to take drugs.

This is what they should teach at schools and they should give this information to babies.
