Prince Charles.

Harry has reportedly called over Meghan�s parents, Doria and Thomas, for an �informal�

get together with Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles so all the parents could have

a little chat, and ahem, approve of each other�s families before any official marriage questions

are asked.

Buzz of an impending engagement between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have risen to an all-time

high, and stories like this are only going to increase the rampant speculation.

The truth is that Prince Harry�s commitment to Meghan Markle was already crystal clear,

and it�s doubtful that even if the parents didn�t like each other, it would derail

this relationship.

However, the royal family does have a different set of protocols and rules that they follow

in terms of families they associate with, and Prince Harry has gotten significantly

better than his brother at following those protocols and rules.

The purported meeting is set to take place after Easter, and if it all works out well,

then we can likely expect an engagement announcement over the summer or in the fall � just in

line with predictions.

Of course, there are also other royal traditions that need to be followed before the engagement

and marriage can take place, but first and foremost, Meghan Markle will need to completely

give up her acting career and move to England.

There�s no way a princess of England will be allowed to traverse all over the world

and fake kiss other people for a living.

But then again, Prince William traverses all over the world and real flirts with people,

seemingly also for a living.

Jokes aside, if the royal family didn�t like Meghan Markle or her parents, there�s

likely little Harry could do to change their minds � which is why these meetings are

so important, and why Meghan Markle is clearly so willing to appease them.

If you don't want to give up, if you don't want to lose hope, the first thing that you

need to keep in your mind is failure is better than regret.

Don't be afraid of failure.

If you fail today, you can try again and again until you succeed

But if you lose hope and move on.

After a couple of years later, when you look back.

You will regret that, you should have tried.

You want to go back in time and change the situation but you will find yourself helpless

and it will be too late.

So try and fail but don't give up because if you give up, you are going to regret.

Alright now let me give you tip no.2 never complain.

If you are complaining, it means that you are looking for excuses and every excuse takes

you a step away from your goal.

Excuses are the biggest hurdles of our destiny.

Change your mindset, change your thinking, be positive and start moving with whatever

the resources you have.

The third way to stay away from giving up is to keep doing it.

Don't worry about the negative people you have in your life.

Don't get upset because you are not seeing any improvements.

Don't lose hope.

Someone has rightly said that, "If you want to see the improvement, you have to be consistent".

So always remember, consistency is the key that will unlock your true potential.

Now let me give you a bonus tip, if you want to stay away from giving up, the best thing

to do is surround yourself with positive people.

Stay away from your negative friends.

Change your company and observe a major impact in your life.

You Probably Don't Have OCD, And This Is Why - Duration: 4:00.

Hey there!

Welcome to Life Noggin.

Have you ever heard someone say, "I'm so clean, I'm OCD!"?

You might think that having OCD just means being a neat freak… but actually, obsessive-compulsive

disorder is a serious ailment that only affects about 2 percent of the population.

People with OCD are plagued with unwanted thoughts, behaviors, or mental images that

repeat over and over.

They might feel like objects in a room have to be perfectly aligned, or they may worry

obsessively about harming others, even if they would never actually do anything.

And yes, some people with OCD obsess over germs and cleanliness, but it's different

than just wanting your house tidy.

For those with the disorder, their obsession feels out of their control.

It can be debilitating, and cleaning won't solve the problem.

The obsessions are typically intertwined with compulsions — repeated actions the person

has to do just to function.

If someone is obsessed with germs, they might wash their hands over and over, even after

they logically know that they are clean.

Or if they're obsessed with safety, they might force themselves to check that the doors

are locked and the stove is off dozens of times before they can leave the house.

They might also feel the need to repeat a certain word, or count all their steps.

Although OCD can take many forms, there are some things that everyone with the disorder

has in common.

In order to be diagnosed, the obsessions or compulsions must be extremely time consuming

and take up at least an hour a day.

Almost everyone with OCD knows their thoughts aren't logical, but they can't stop themselves.

And they usually don't enjoy their compulsions — it's just the only way they can reduce

their anxiety and stress.

For those suffering, it can hurt to hear others use the term OCD without understanding what

it means.

You might say you have OCD because you like things to be organized, but it's a passing

thought that you could shrug off.

Having real OCD means not being able to let go of those thoughts.

Lots of studies have shown that those with OCD actually have slightly different brain

function than those without.

Although scientists are still learning how the disorder works, many think it has to do

with changes in a circuit of the brain called the corticostriatal pathway, which regulates

habit and repeated action.

Recent studies have focused on trying to find medications that bind to receptors in that

pathway.

If the studies are successful, they may be able to develop medications that specifically

target OCD symptoms.

This would be a huge leap forward.

Currently, doctors typically prescribe general antidepressants for OCD.

They also recommend behavioral therapy.

This includes exposure therapy, where patients are carefully exposed to fearful situations

without being allowed to act on their compulsions.

For the small amount of people who don't respond to either drugs or therapy, there

are more invasive procedures.

Around 300 people have undergone something called DBS, or deep brain stimulation, which

is when electrodes are implanted in the brain to control impulses in some of the corticostriatal

regions.

When the electrodes are activated, they cause the brain of someone with OCD to have the

same neural activity as someone without.

The treatment has been a huge success.

Almost all DBS patients say the procedure improved their mood and self-confidence, and

most regained a normal quality of life.

Although OCD can be debilitating, these types of treatments offer hope that one day soon,

everyone with the disorder will be able to find relief and take back control of their

life.

One of the best things I've ever heard

in terms of advice

and I hear advice all the time.

I've been reading personal development

books since I was, you know,

12 or 13 years old.

One piece of unorthodox advice that

really is incredible and it came from my older brother.

When I was little I would

run around and be a little twerp.

I would, you know, instigate him and then when he

came to confront me I would run away.

I was like a classic little brother.

One day, he turns to me… I'll never forget it.

We were on our back lawn and it was a

hot summer day. He turns to me he goes,

"Joe…" (That's what my family calls me.)

"Joe…"

"Don't be a little bitch."

What did he mean by, "Don't be a little bitch"?

He meant: don't be a twerp.

Don't say something about someone behind their

backs and not be able to say it to their face.

No situation illustrates this

better than one I experienced a couple

years ago.

This one guy a couple years ago

would not stop with these crazy hurtful comments and tweets.

I clicked in on his profile one day

to, like, get a read on it.

Well, I remember what he looked like and one day,

I'm at Barnes & Noble. I'm at the bookstore

and I look up and who's there

but this guy.

And his eyes meet with mine.

And he sees me.

He turns bright red

and walks away with his tail between his legs.

And I thought to myself,

What a little bitch.

This isn't a commentary on

on gender.

This is for men, women,

and everybody in between.

People say one thing

and then when the fire is on

they can't stand up for themselves.

You should be able to criticize someone

and their beliefs and their values

because that's what makes this a free world.

It's free speech, you know. This is the '90s!

Think about what you put out online.

Ask yourself, "If this person came at me…

…let's say, with a camera on my face,

could I stand up for this?"

"If someone confronted me about what

I wrote and my family was there,

could I stand up for myself?"

We're in a culture now where everyone has an opinion

everyone's an armchair critic,

an armchair political commentator.

And very few people,

when you press them for more info

can give it to you in a way

that's dignified and intelligent.

Be dignified.

Stand up for what you say you believe in.

And, I guess at the end of the day,

do you.

hours and look at this the picture that

and this is if as I hit 200k in four

hours like that is unbelievable I'm like

sitting here refreshing it it keeps

making me go up but that is friggin

actually unsure if we were able to bring

Theo out after his last shot we thought

he had to get one more shot but Lizzy

just talked to the guy that we got the

dog from and apparently he is allowed

out right now we just have to get him

flea medicine since it is like flea

season and sixth season so going to head

over the Petsmart right now and then

we're also going to get him fitted for a

harness Lizzy doesn't like leashes so

she would rather him get a harness their

collars I don't like collars yeah

I can't speak right now so were going to

head over there and get that figured out

and then we will probably end up

bringing him for a walk right after

which he's gonna go crazy like he's

never explored around really outside of

this apartment you saw on like three or

four times with me outside he's not been

allowed on the ground

investment decisions without making some

mistakes I may try to minimize them I

don't I don't dwell on them at all I

don't I don't look back that the biggest

mistakes are the ones that actually

don't show up they're the mistakes of

omission rather than commission we've

never lost that much money on any one

investment but it's the things that I

knew enough to do that I didn't do we

have we have missed profits of as much

as you know maybe 10 billion dollars in

things that I knew enough to do and I

didn't do now the fact they didn't by

Microsoft way back is not a forgone

opportunity because I didn't know enough

to make that decision but there have

been other investments where I did know

enough to make the decision and for one

reason or another I either didn't do it

at all or I did it on a small scale I

was sucking my thumb when I should have

been writing checks you know basically

and and and you know those don't show up

there's no place where it shows missed

opportunities but I've missed some big

ones the triumphs in life are partly

triose because you know that everything

isn't going to be a triumph and and and

I would never get too hung up on

mistakes I know a lot of people that

really agonize over them and it just

isn't worth it I mean tomorrow's another

day and you live it forward and just go

on to the next thing

so when people come up to me and say

Gary it's so hard I look at their

Instagram and they're not posting any of

their content with hashtags which is a

by accident way to pick up exposure in a

world where they have no money when you

have no money when I took over my dad's

business it did three million dollars a

year ten percent gross profit three

hundred thousand dollars before expenses

my first year marketing budget was

fourteen thousand dollars when you have

no money and I built that business from

a three to a sixty million dollar

business in five years I had to make

every penny perfect so I was right about

email marketing in ninety six and I was

right and because of that I had 91% open

rates when Google AdWords came out the

day it came out I paid five cents a

click for words before anybody bid me up

and I was super right and that worked it

was is that luck versus preparation and

do you ever get anything wrong what do

you do like it make them in hey I give

everything wrong it's just that I can't

recall it because once it's wrong I'm

initiative to change the current quality

of your life I say to you that you will

find that the universe is on your side

that life is on your side not will it be

you have some opposition yes will I make

people won't try anything different like

because they don't want to get hurt let

dreams it's necessary the job but it's

strategy in a game plan to change the

being transformed by the renewing of

your mind and so as I began to work on

myself I realized that I'm getting out

of one story and stepping into another

things there's still some things I'm not

aware of so I still I'm still growing

I'm still developing

wannabe 8 what I'm going to be but thank

God I show 8 what I was but I realized

that that you have to work on yourself

at a regular basis and write this down

for mental mindset for mental mindset

and stamina because things is going to

happen to you

I don't believe I believe that the

reason that most people go to their

graves where their talents

and skills in in them is because of the

fact number one minute like me they

didn't know that they didn't know him

and thought they knew I thought I knew

myself and I really didn't know myself

as well as I thought I discovered that

sometimes people can take you to a place

within yourself that you can't go by

yourself the other reason is I was

afraid I never worked for major

corporation I want to speak for

corporations I was afraid I would I

would be exposed because I don't have a

college education

I felt inferior because of the fact that

I don't have a college education I

allowed a bad level of fear of failure

to stop me and because I never had an

experience in it I assumed that I could

not do it

I was paralyzing myself by believing and

assuming the limited part of myself as

opposed to believing that I had

something special you have something

special there's something you want to do

because you don't know how to do it

doesn't mean that you can't learn I like

something that I heard you don't have to

be great to get started but you have to

get started to be great with it off you

please leave and grow your wings on the

way down see the people that will live

their dreams the 2% that will do that

these are and write this down become a

risk-taker they're risk takers they

don't mind failing they don't mind

making mistakes they're willing to take

What Comic Fans Know About Star-Lord That You Don't - Duration: 4:26.

Fans of Guardians of the Galaxy know one thing for sure: Peter Quill is a pretty gnarly dude.

With a name like Star-Lord, it's pretty much a moral imperative to become a kick-butt space

adventurer.

But is there more to Quill than meets the eye?

Here's what comic fans know about Star-Lord that you don't.

Star-Lord's nickname is ironic

Every hero needs a code-name, even if it's one you make up for yourself that nobody else

uses or has even heard of.

"Star-Lord."

"Who?"

In the comics, though, the name is an ironic one, as Quill's dad is literally a star lord

named J'Son, ruler of Spartax.

He wants Quill to follow in his footsteps, but Quill nopes out of it, keeping the name

as a bit of a middle finger to dad.

Star-Lord has 3 different origin stories

There are two routes you can go with superhero origins.

Either you can have one origin that you retell ten billion times, like Batman and his perpetually

dying parents, or you can just have a whole bunch of different, conflicting origins to

keep things interesting.

That's the case with Star-Lord, who has had three different backstories.

Originally, he was an astronaut who ended up becoming a spacecop.

That was tweaked later, introducing the idea that he joined the galactic pirates known

as the Ravagers before becoming Star-Lord.

And then there's the movie version, which swipes elements from both while giving him

a totally different dad in the form of Kurt Russell.

At least none of Star-Lord's origin stories involve slow motion pearls.

He wasn't originally a Guardian of the Galaxy

When Star-Lord first appeared, he had nothing to do with the Guardians of the Galaxy.

In fact, that's the case for every single one of the film's characters with the exception

of Yondu.

He was one of the original Guardians of the Galaxy when they first debuted way back in

1969.

It wasn't until 2008 that Star-Lord ended up putting together a new team of Guardians

alongside Gamora, Rocket, Groot, and Drax.

"They call themselves The Guardians of the Galaxy."

"What a bunch of a-holes."

Gamora and Peter aren't an item

In the movies, there's a clear will they - won't they flirtation between Star-Lord and Gamora.

But in the comics, you know, not so much.

Gamora has historically been romantically linked to Thanos's archenemy Adam Warlock,

though she also had a thing with the man called Nova, Richard Ryder.

Since he doesn't seem to exist yet in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, that romance is

a long shot on the big screen, but it has a better chance of happening than Peter's

comic book romance with the X-Men's Kitty Pryde.

Since the movie rights to Kitty are tied up at a different movie studio, their love is

tragically doomed.

Hey kids, comics!

One of the great things about comics is that pretty much any random thing the writers can

possibly think of is bound to eventually happen.

So while the adventures of the movie Star-Lord have been pretty weird, the films are nothing

compared to the shenanigans he's gotten up to in the comics.

For instance, at one point he briefly became king of the planet Spartax, while at another

point, he was trapped in an alternate dimension called the Cancerverse where he was unable

to die.

And in a twist the movie version of Peter Quill would no doubt love, in one storyline

he became a professional lounge singer.

Rock on, Star-Lord!

Star-Lord dated his spaceship

Fans of the movie might be aware of the fact that director James Gunn named their ship

The Milano after childhood crush Alyssa Milano.

But in the comics, Star-Lord had a very different ship who was a key part of his adventures

- because the ship was sentient.

Known simply as Ship most of the time, Ship was actually the imprisoned consciousness

of a sentient star named Aurora.

At one point, Ship managed to gain physical form and totally made out with Star-Lord before

her body was destroyed and she just became a starship again.

That's… kind of creepy.

There was another Star-Lord

It might be hard to imagine anyone but Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, but during a brief stint

in the mid-'90s, a totally different character took up the name.

10 Things People Don�t Realize You�re Doing Because You�re An iNtuitive

The MBTI inventory classifies iNtuitive types as those who place more interest (and often

more value) in theories, abstractions and the exploration of possibilities than they

do in the concrete realities of the world around them.

iNtuitive-dominant personality types (mainly ENFPs, ENTPs, INTJs and INFJs) are almost

always more interested in what isn�t being said or considered than what is.

But since we live in a sensor-dominant world, intuitive behavior tends to stick out like

a sore thumb. Almost every iNtuitive personality will be able to recall many experiences in

which their loved ones were thoroughly confused by their reasoning or behavior. Here are ten

behaviors people often don�t understand are associated with being an iNtuitive personality.

1. Spurring debates.

iNtuitives don�t fully understand an issue until they�ve considered it from every possible

angle. These types aren�t debating because they want to be difficult or impolite � they�re

debating because they need to test the validity of the topic by arguing it from every side.

They want to see if any holes arise in their reasoning as they go, and some of their best

learning takes place through the process of debate.

2. Obsessively planning for the future.

iNtuitives live almost exclusively in the future � they love considering which options

may arise for them, which goals they ought to set for themselves, what their lives may

look like in twenty or thirty years, etc.

Of course, it�s impossible to plan every detail of one�s life� so the plan is subject

to getting readjusted. For extroverted iNtuitives (xNFPs and xNTPs), the readjusting happens

almost daily. For introverted intuitives (xNFJs and xNTJs), readjusting happens as needed

� but the need tends to arise regularly.

3. Viewing the rules as suggestions.

It�s not that iNtuitives are rebellious for the sake of it � it�s just that they

analyze why a rule exists before deciding whether or not to follow it. These types despise

arbitrary action, so if they perceive a rule to be outdated or ineffective, they have no

problem casting it aside and doing things their way instead.

4. Over-analyzing everything.

For the iNtuitive, it isn�t enough to understand how a given issue applies to them � they

have to also understand the global implications of the issue, or the underlying theory that

ties is all together. iNtuitives want to know the intangible explanation for every tangible

problem, and it can drive those around them a little bonkers.

5. Placing little trust in authority.

iNtuitives types trust competence over qualification, and they want to make their own judgments

about how competent they find others to be. iNtuitives are highly aware of the human tendency

to favor convenience and prestige above analysis, and they aren�t quick to trust any established

system simply because it�s been in place for a long time.

6. Relentlessly seeking variety.

iNtuitive personalities are naturally drawn to the abnormal, the uncouth and the unconventional.

These types spend their entire lives attempting to piece together a comprehensive worldview,

which means that they seek to understand as many different oddities as possible. Whether

they�re seeking novelty in their studies, their lifestyles or both, these types are

always on the hunt for new lenses through which they can view the world.

7. Developing obscure interests.

Since what they don�t know is almost always more interesting to the iNtuitive personality

than what they do know, these types are likely to take an interest in niche topics or theories.

Many iNtuitives enjoy exploring conspiracy theories or other such �unfounded� methods

of reasoning, as they enjoy the �mental gymnastics� aspect of linking seemingly

unrelated things together (even though they often don�t believe the actual theories

themselves at the end of the day).

8. Socializing selectively.

Extroverted iNtuitives (mainly ENFPs and ENTPs) are considered the most introverted of the

extroverted types. Introverted iNtuitives (mainly INFJs and INTJs) may be more traditionally

introverted in nature, but put any of these types around in a room together and the conversation

is likely to flow on for hours (if not days, if not endlessly)!

iNtuitive-dominant types are often quickly exhausted by engaging with their physical

environment, but they are endlessly energized by quality conversation. These types tend

to consider themselves to be �selectively social� � they�d rather be alone than

around people they don�t connect with, but put them around other iNtuitive types and

their social side suddenly emerges with fervor.

9. Playing devil�s advocate.

If there�s a sure-fire way to get under an iNtuitive�s skin, it�s to insist that

basically any issue is black or white. These types are quick to assume the role of devil�s

advocate in any situation where they feel as though the opposing party is forming an

opinion without considering the alternative point of view. These types are prone to vehemently

arguing points they don�t even agree with, just to prove that an issue is more complex

than those around them are assuming it to be.

10. Pursing an unconventional life course.

iNtuitives are naturally drawn to the strange, the provocative and the unconventional. They

may be more prone than sensing types to have an entrepreneurial streak, to engage in non-traditional

relationship structures or to experiment with lifestyle choices that are outside the societal

norm.

Because these types take a �why not� approach to their lives (or in the case of introverted

iNtuitives, their research and learning), they often find themselves unintentionally

rebelling from the rest of society. It�s not that they want to do everything differently

� it�s just that an iNtuitive�s lifestyle tends to reflect their mindset � and the

mind of an iNtuitive is a very strange territory indeed.
